Well, I didn't hate it.
Directed by Griff Furst, this $2.5 million dollar direct-to-television sequel once again
sees a group of man-eating crocodiles (and their cutesy offspring) terrifying a small
Maine community.
Colin Fergerson may be your poor-man's Thomas Jane (who himself isn't exactly an A-list
commodity) but he's the best performer in this group by a mile.
And that includes the film's requisite "big name" acquisition, Michael Ironsides - who
plays, what else, a gruff police sheriff.
In the first of her three-appearances, Yancy Butler does her best "bitchy" Jillian Michaels
impression, and the results are just grating and awful.
Honestly though, the actors in these movies are just a means to a gory, entertaining end
- so their performances are largely inconsequential.
All the horror-movie hallmarks are here: the skinny-dipping teens, gratuitous outfits,
and even a car that won't start!
But since this R-rated feature originally aired on basic cable, all of the otherwise
redeemable moments of gore and nudity have been completely neutered down to a TV-14 presentation.
But don't worry, later we get to watch a pointless hard-rock montage when a dumb kid tries to
steal some meat from a local market!
And in true "Lake Placid" fashion, a great deal of the picture's so-called 'humor' stems
from people condescendingly dismissing professionals and the possibility of a deadly croc.
Like, how terrible is this town's memory?
The same lake has now been terrorized by giant monsters on three separate occasions over
10 years, and people STILL don't take the threats seriously?
As for the scenery, the low-budget production has once again returned to the non-description
wilderness of Eastern Europe, while much of the third-act takes place on an almost completely
undressed backlot.
At 96-minutes "Lake Placid 3" is actually the longest in the five-picture series, but
was a weird little slowed-down flashback sequence really necessary leading up to the climax?
Although the visuals are nowhere near as realistic as the original - there are a few cool shots
accomplished; like Ironsides wedging an oar inside a croc's giant open mouth - and later
when a car is pulled backwards into the lake.
I feel like at some point during production, the VFX guys realized that could merge CGI
with people being dragged - which is why we see that same effect utilized no less than
five times in the film.
If
this picture was released last century, I dare say it'd be just as good (or as bad)
as the 1999 film.
But as a 2010 release - "Lake Placid 3" is just an embarrassingly formulaic guilty pleasure.
I thought it was LAME.

But, this game has beautiful original art, and I found it very charming in spite of those flaws.
Late title card!
This game has a LOT of stuff to look at and flavor text, which I appreciate a lot.
There's also no option to make the text scroll faster, and no button you can push to advance it. :/
Ooh, "Day 1" in the upper-right corner. It's gonna be like Persona! :D
Weather forecasts, too!

Sorry about this. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't dropping frames.

Here either.
Just double-checking I didn't miss anything.
Gotta explore every nook and cranny.
These character designs rule. We need more friendly scorpion monsters in games.
The placeholder art is cute too.

That was nice of them.

Combini World - Japanese Fluffy Pancakes | Il Cibo delle Coccole - Duration: 4:26.
Hi folks! First episode of the new season of "Conbini World"...
...more or less... what I mean is that we are in Japan since a week and
we've already bought some conbini products, but I couldn't find the right moment and place to record.
Plus: I've thought to show you anyway some other nice food products that I've found here.
So, yesterday we have been in this basement department store
and there were several food and dessert stands.
So I've bought 3 types of this..
I don't know how to call them: I would describe them as big fluffy pancakes.
So, yeah, I bought 3 different flavors and I wanted to share with you the tasting moment.
Let's see if I can show you closer: they're so cute!
And this one... let's see which flavor is.
Super soft.
Let's see what's inside.
This is with matcha cream... I go crazy for it!
I hope insects won't fly on it... yeah, 'cause we are in a forest close to an onsen, not far from Sapporo.
Ok, let's taste it!
It's stupidly delicious!!
Ok, after having devoured the matcha pancake, let's see the next one
They're all super cute with this... smile.. ?
Actually I'm not sure if it's a smile or a kanji... but who cares? They super cute anyway!
And this one seems to have ankle inside, the Azuki beans paste...
No! Sorry, I'm wrong! This has matcha cream and milk cream!
So, another flavor I really love!
But, as you can see here, there are also some black sesame seeds...
Anyway, it must be delicious...!
I've to admit I taste more the matcha cream rather than the milk cream...
I mean, it's not such a big deal if you like matcha as much as me, but
then you can simply buy the matcha cream one.
I've still another one which has the Anko inside together with matcha, if I'm not wrong...
Last one... also 'cause it's starting to rain
and it seems to be in a tropical forest, not in the north of Japan...!
As you can notice from the color, this one has matcha in the dough,
so it'd different for this reason and inside it has...
Azuki beans paste and milk cream.
So we can say it's a great combo: matcha in the dough with a filling of anko and milk cream.
Let's try it.
So: if you like the traditional Japanese flavors, then this might be your favorite one...
Probably mine as well!
It's really great!
So, I hope you liked this first episode..
I'll try to make more tasting videos, like one completely dedicated to onigiri... Let's see!
See you on....
next CONBINI videos. Now we leave, 'cause it's raining! Bye!

Self-Driving and Autonomous Vehicles & 6 Reasons Why These Won't Be Coming Soon | Driving Smart - Duration: 30:53.
[TITLE & MUSIC]
Hi there smart drivers. Rick with Smart Drive Test talking to you today about
autonomous vehicles--self-driving vehicles and why these are not going to
take over a roadway anytime in the 21st century. I got six reasons why they're
not going to overtake our roadways. Now just before we get started here, be sure
to hit that subscribe button just about there. That way you'll get access to all
of the great information for those of you working towards a license or
starting your career is a truck or bus driver. As well, be sure to hit that "bell."
That way you'll get instant notification. Now autonomous vehicles have been made
famous by Tesla and Elon Musk who is the public figure and the billionaire who
started the compan...and his team, And as well, social media... the
media in general have promoted that autonomous vehicles are going to
appear on our roadways and very soon. When in fact, they're probably not going
to appear on our roadways anytime in the 21st century. I had a few smart drivers on
the shifting theory video say that taxi drivers, bus drivers, and truck drivers
very soon we're going to be out of business. As well, I've had a lot of smart
drivers ask me why big trucks do not have automatic transmissions in them and
why they still have non-synchromesh-- what's called as crash box
transmissions--and then why they're so difficult to drive. Well technology--the
limitation of technology--and the sheer forces involved in moving huge amounts
of weight in big trucks--some of them up to as much as 140 thousand pounds or
sixty three thousand five hundred kilograms. So they're big, heavy and there
are lots and lots of forces there. And you need some very durable technology in
place in order to be able to move that kind of mass. Autonomous vehicles - two
questions I'm gonna ask you about autonomous vehicles. The first question
I'm gonna ask you is: when was the last time you rebooted your computer
restarted your computer to get it to work? Was it a week ago, a month ago, or a
few months ago. Answer that question... just have a think about that. The second
question I'm going to ask you is, if an autonomous vehicle showed up outside
your doorway, would you get in that vehicle and let it take you for a two or
three hour drive. Just ask yourself that question
while we're getting going here and we'll be back to give you the six reasons why
autonomous vehicles are not going to take over our roadways anytime in the
twenty-first century. So stick around, and be right back.
[INTRO & MUSIC
they're smart drivers welcome back Rick with smart drive test talking to you
today about six reasons why autonomous vehicles are not going to take over our
roadways in the 21st century the first reason is the simple complexity of
driving and when I that's an oxymoron when I say the simple complexity of
driving because driving is probably the most complex tasks that we do on a daily
basis Harold Smith who is the originator of the idea of the Smith's space cushion
system which is the basis of defensive driving that he formulated that seventy
years ago and that still forms the basis of defensive driving and is the guiding
principles for any driver education course that teaches defensive driving
Harold Smith came up with the idea of the Smith's prescription system and
stated in that that we as drivers make a hundred decisions per kilometre or per
mile of driving so the decision-making process and the processing of
information as we're driving is highly complex highly dynamic and ongoing so
the complexity of driving the best analogy that I ever saw in terms of
describing the complexity of driving was in the VicRoads on the road to solo
driving which is their driving manual they're in the state of Victoria in
Australia and they come up with this analogy between sports and driving now
if I asked you the question of whether sports is dynamic or whether sports is
static most of us myself included when I was first asked this question would say
that sports in fact he is dynamic however if you take a closer look at
sports and look at the field of sports regardless of whether you're playing
hockey you're playing football you're playing netball or whatever sport you're
playing the field or the court is the same dimensions all the time so if
you're playing basketball you're playing on the same court the lines are in the
same place there so the distances between the lines is the same for that
sport same with hockey same with gridiron football or whatever sport
yours playing the field is the same all of the time the players who are playing
the sport are all approximately the same age
they're the same gender they have the same ability so all the players are the
same the equipment that they use is the same they all have the same equipment if
they're playing gridiron football for example they all have helmets on they
all have shoulder pads and knee pads and other types of protective equipment that
they're using to play the game they play the game at the same time every day and
for the most part if they're playing footie in Australia or you're playing
soccer or you're playing gridiron football the seasons are the same every
year you play it at the same time of year so the lighting conditions are
going to be the same all of the time and then the objective of the players is the
same to score a goal now if you look at that in terms of driving the task of
driving is that the playing field that drivers are driving on is not the same
you can start at your house on a residential Road drive out onto a
two-lane roadway that's 60 kilometers an hour 40 miles an hour and then be out on
a highway within a few short minutes and driving on a roadway that can be 80
kilometers an hour 100 kilometers an hour 50-100 miles an hour so the playing
environment for driving is different the people who are driving are all different
ages and abilities in their driving many of them will have physical disabilities
that will limit their ability to drive and those types of things they're all
driving with different types of vehicles Road user can be pedestrians cyclists
scooter people on scooters motorcycles cars trucks buses big trucks trams and
trolleys all those types of things so the equipment that we're using on our
roadways varies vastly the ability of the players we can drive at any time of
the day 24 hours in the dark and the light glaring Sun pouring rain driving
snow all of those types of things in weather is going to have a huge impact
on our ability to drive and then finally the the objective of the drivers is not
the same as the sports players the objective of drivers can be anything
they're going anywhere they're going to the grocery store they're going to see
their friends they're going to church or whatnot so the objective of the draw
ours is different so you can see that there's some a good analogy there which
describes how dynamic driving is and how complicated that task of driving is and
how much it requires us to be able to make decisions ongoing as we're driving
all the time and to process that information that's coming in and not all
of the information for driving is visual information only about 90% of it there's
another bit of that information that is listening to the vehicle and feeling the
vehicle smelling different environments and
those types of things that also are information that is relevant to driving
so our computer is going to be able to do that in terms of autonomous vehicles
in the simple complexity of driving the second reason that autonomous vehicles
are not going to overtake our roadways anytime soon is technology the sheer
amount of R&D that is going on in terms of developing technology to pilot these
vehicles is astronomical and probably the leader of the technology to build
autonomous vehicles is Google and the Google cars which have driven hundreds
of millions of miles accident-free now the question that I ask is how much how
many support personnel are sitting in the background making sure that those
vehicles are going where they're supposed to be going or is it simply the
software and computer engineering that is allowing that vehicle to go forward
and in terms of technology one of the factors is the size of the technology
you see that large dome on top of the Google car and the lind ours it's called
which allows a 360° scan of its environment that is a huge piece of
technology now are you going to be able to take that technology and shrink it
down so that it's in the vehicle and makes the vehicle look attractive like a
sports vehicle like a high-end premium car that people are going to buy and
want to buy or they want that big dome on the top of their vehicle people are
not going to be attracted to that kind of technology so somehow the technology
the sensor technology that you need to pilot vehicles autonomously up and down
the road is going to have to become have to be
able to be in a size that they can hide it in the vehicle and it's not really
readily apparent or the shape of vehicles is going to have to change
dramatically so that is one aspect of the technology the other aspect of the
technology is how does this technology navigate these vehicles do we have some
sort of guiding strip in the roadway some of the preliminary sensors detect
road markings what if the road marking is off did they used Global Positioning
satellites and as we know Global Positioning satellites even in this day
and age are only accurate to about two meters in most places and when you're
driving sometimes satellites and the tracking and the piloting of the vehicle
has to be within inches or centimeters it cannot be within two meters because
if you're within two meters you're going to have a crash so how do we how does
the technology move these vehicles and pilot these vehicles up and down the
roadway and finally the other question about technology and whether it's going
to be able to move the vehicle up and down the roadway is digitized map scan
these use digital maps in order to navigate the vehicles up and down the
roadway and as it says an article by will night yes the article was written
four years ago but it's still relevant today's technology in the fact of
keeping digital maps up to date the world is ever-changing we're changing
roads we're building new structures and those types of things the monumental
task of keeping those digital maps up-to-date to pilot these autonomous
vehicles up and down the roadway cannot be underestimated so the technology the
size of the technology and then bringing the technology down to a size that you
can fit it into a modern autonomous vehicle and make it attractive to the
consumer and make it affordable to the consumer so that the consumer will want
to buy the vehicle and allow it to go up and down the roadway is another limiting
factor and just going back to the complexity of driving I know some of you
are going to mention blue the computer a few years ago maybe a couple of decades
now that was able to be able to beat and match the top chess players in the world
and again I come back to the analogy that I used in reason number one of the
complexity of driving is again chess is on a board and the movements of the
chess players of the chess pieces rather is static and open to mathematical
calculation and is very cut and dry and of course there aren't any risk of life
in terms of playing chess so the computer technology and the ability of
computers to reach a level of art artificial intelligence that somewhat
simulates our brain and our ability to make decisions at an ongoing pace is
going to be one of the limiting factors in terms of autonomous vehicles becoming
available to mass consumerism the third reason why autonomous vehicles are not
going to be overtaking our roadways anytime soon is ergonomic sand this
organ Amin that Joshua Brown was killed on the seventh of May in 2016 in the
state of Florida driving his Tesla car now what happened is is that the sensors
on the Tesla car became confused by the bright sunlight glaring off the side of
a white semi-trailer and the vehicle drove into the side of the trailer
unfortunately killing Joshua Brown he was the first fatality in an autonomous
vehicle crash and there was an investigation which exonerated the Tesla
company in the fact that there were no less than six warnings for Joshua Brown
to take over this raises a very serious question in terms of the technology of
autonomous vehicles the interaction between humans and machines which is
called a ergonomics it's our interaction between machines which makes them easier
for us to use makes them user friendly and as well makes them safe so is the
technology going to be safe now the first generation of autonomous vehicles
is going to require the attention of the driver now don't get me wrong in terms
of all of this that I'm talking about that they are coming anytime soon I'm
all for autonomous vehicles I want an autonomous vehicle I want a vehicle that
I can go out and get into and I can read a book or talk on the phone or have a
conversation with somebody else you know in the movies the way it
in the movies I would love to be able to do that however this first generation of
autonomous vehicles when somebody has to interact with the vehicle and take over
if the sensors become overwhelmed or the computer cannot deal with the traffic
situation that is being presented to it how long does it take that driver him or
her to come back into that complex driving situation you have to assess the
situation and you have to determine what action to take in a very small space of
time sometimes a fraction of a second is the sensors and the technology in the
vehicle going to be able to give you enough warning that you're going to be
able to come back assess the situation and take appropriate action to interact
with that vehicle and that in right now is probably the biggest barrier to
autonomous vehicles being on our roadways and being allowed on our
roadways that issue of ergonomics and the interaction between human beings and
the autonomous vehicle in the autonomous vehicle not being able to handle the
situation and the human being or the driver having to come back into it and
take over and make a safe decision and make a strategic move that is going to
potentially save their life and other road users lives and that as far as I'm
concerned is probably the biggest barrier to autonomous vehicles not
becoming widespread any time soon reason number four of why autonomous vehicles
are not going to take our roadways over anytime soon is the issue of ethics and
the issue of ethics was explored in the movie I Robot starring Will Smith which
also had autonomous vehicles in it but it wasn't the autonomous vehicle that
made an ethical decision in the movie I Robot the ethical decision was there was
a crash on a bridge involving Will Smith's vehicle and the another vehicle
containing a little girl and the robot in the movie saved Will Smith made
calculations about the chances for survival in the event of the crash
didn't say the little girl and saved Will Smith while he lived with that
guilt that the robot did not save the little girl when it is that's the
ethical choice that it should have made as opposed to saving him
he felt bad about their and carried that guilt and that guilt influenced his
decisions and his feelings about the robots in the movie even though he was a
cop so it's an interesting movie so have a look at it but it comes back to
autonomous vehicles if there's going to be a crash and there will be crashes
because it's traffic and it's motor vehicles and there's always crashes
there are 33,000 people a year killed in the United States of America due to
traffic crashes and it's exponentially more than that who are injured in
traffic crashes so there are going to be crashes and the ethical decision making
process of this computer technology is it going to decide for example if it's
cut if the vehicle is coming through an intersection and a child steps off the
curb into the path of the vehicle is that vehicle going to choose to run over
the child or sideswipe the vehicle beside it these are the ethical
decisions and ethical decision making processes that need to be considered
with these computers that are guiding autonomous vehicles and this is going to
come to the fore because all the choices that these computers need to make in
order to safely navigate a vehicle down the roadway need to be programmed into
the software in addition these ethical decisions that are going to be debated
for years and years and years to come how do you teach a computer to make an
ethical choice between a small child and sideswiping another vehicle where there
probably won't be any injuries or fatalities in that sort of a crash
because sites wave crashes are very usually very low casualties and very low
injuries but again there are many variables that go into that and it's a
dynamic situation and things could change the vehicle could hit a curb or a
Smit barrier or flip over or something that then you do have fatalities in the
crash so there's a ethical decisions as well that need to go into this and these
really tough questions need to be answered and until these really tough
questions are answered autonomous vehicles probably are going to be
delayed being available for mass consumerism the fifth reason that
autonomous vehicles aren't going to be taking over our roadways anytime soon is
the social protest the protest of those heavily vested in the current
infrastructure of drivers in cars and the you know people who want to buy
these vehicles the manufacturing the oil companies and all this huge
infrastructure for those of you who know me and have been following some of my
videos know that my doctorate thesis looked at the transition of horse-drawn
traffic to motor traffic so you're looking at the transition from one huge
transportation infrastructure of the horse to another transportation system
of the motorcar and there were huge battles that went on between those two
infrastructures for the transition from one to the other because it wasn't a
simple transition and you think of cars with drivers in them to an autonomous
vehicle infrastructure and the will Knight who wrote the MIT article he
talks about that a little bit he talks about Google as being the forerunner in
autonomous vehicles but the fact that that Google doesn't have any experience
in building automobiles so how do they build automobiles when they're a online
search engine company that does online advertising how do they go from that to
building cars so you have this huge social protest that's going to be in
place not so much protest but you're going to have a resistance and in terms
of that social protest you're gonna have hackers are gonna hack into the software
and that is going to be one of the other huge factors that's going to prevent the
moving forward of autonomous vehicles and just on an example of that in the
early 19th century in England when the steam engine came in it was applied to
the loom which was manufacturing textiles and our clothing and those
types of things when the steam engine came in the steam engine was attached to
these power looms and one person with a steam engine loom could now do the work
of 300 workers you had the creation of the Luddites who would break into
textile plants and destroy these steam engines because they were being put out
of work so if we have autonomous vehicles coming in and you now have taxi
drivers and bus drivers and truck drivers and other
people who deliver services and goods and freight as part of their job what is
the social protest what is the pushback on that because these people are no
longer employed because of what autonomous vehicles are overtaking their
jobs and again terrorism hackers those types of things these are all questions
and barriers that have to be answered in terms of autonomous vehicles how are we
going to replace those jobs how we're going to put those people to keep
working so we have the social protest aspect and the transition from one huge
automotive infrastructure to another huge automotive infrastructure that is
going to see a lot of people being displaced a lot of people being put out
of work and one more point about the social protest is the traditionalists
those of us who like driving we like driving cars we don't want to get in an
autonomous vehicle we want to get in a vehicle we want to have control of the
vehicle and we want to drive it so that is another aspect of why autonomous
vehicles aren't going to be taking our roadways over anytime soon the last
reason that autonomous vehicles are not going to be overtaking our roadways
anytime soon I've alluded to this earlier but it's the cost of the
technology in the cost of developing an enormous infrastructure to build create
teach new drivers how to operate autonomous vehicles and having you know
if they're going to be electric cars we need to have more electric hookup
outlets where we can recharge our vehicles and those types of things so in
terms of creating the technology and making the technology smaller how much
is that going to cost as I alluded to earlier in the video the Lindner on the
top of the Google car that piece of technology costs eighty thousand dollars
well for most of us that that is ten times more what we're willing to pay for
an automobile currently so how long is it going to take the technology to come
down in price as well again the aesthetics of the motor vehicles what is
the vehicle going to look like with all of these sensors and those types of
things in it and what is the cost of making those smaller and making them
readily of for mass consumerism is that even a
possibility that we can that the engineers automotive engineers software
engineers and everyone else who is involved in the development of this
technology is is it ever going to be feasible to create an entire
infrastructure with autonomous vehicles and the other thing the question becomes
in terms of cost if the price of a motor vehicle goes up to sixty or seventy
thousand dollars that is probably right on the sort of high-water mark of the
amount of money that we as consumers are willing to pay for an automobile and
then the thing is is that we say ok it's an autonomous vehicle and it's $60,000
are we just willing to drive our own vehicles and say listen you know I can
pick this one up for 20 or 25,000 or 30,000 dollars and I'm gonna drive that
motor vehicle so these are the other questions and the last one it always
comes down to the cost of the vehicle how much is the cost of the vehicle and
does the cost of the vehicle outweigh the benefits are the benefits of having
an autonomous vehicle going to be worth the cost of having it and they talk
about this is that we're going to have increased fuel economy because the
vehicles are going to be able to follow closer together and they're going to get
better fuel economy we're going to reduce congestion in large cities and
those types of things I really don't think that the technology is even close
to beginning to have the benefits of all of that that they're projecting for
autonomous vehicles that they're going to reduce traffic congestion they're
going to reduce pollution they're going to have a smaller smaller environmental
footprint and the fact that they're going to increase the economy of
vehicles and those types of things and what are these vehicles even going to be
powered by are they're going to be petrol engines in another twenty or
thirty years are we still going to be drilling for oil and those types of
things so the last factor of why autonomous
vehicles are not going to be taking over our roadways anytime soon is the cost
and the cost versus the benefits and due mass consumers do the general public do
we want these autonomous vehicles or we do want to continue to drive our own
vehicles so that's the last reason why autonomous vehicles won't be taking over
our roadways anytime soon quick review of why autonomous
vehicles will not be overtaking our roadways anytime the first reason was
the complexity of driving the sheer number of decisions that need to be made
by drivers and as well in the article by will Knight the MIT article he was
talking about being in a cab in Europe and the driver who said to him that the
reason the taxi drivers were so good was the $0.07
that heightened awareness of being able to determine traffic patterns and the
actions of other road users on the roadway as you're driving and it's kind
of like any professional who does something all the time drivers who work
for a living have a higher sense and ability to predict traffic patterns and
the actions of other road users so that's the first reason why autonomous
vehicles are not going to overtake our roadways any time soon the second reason
is technology just developing the technology and getting the technology to
a point where it's not huge and cumbersome and compromises the aesthetic
value of Motor Vehicles because most of us do really like the lines of fast
sports car and what that looks like in high-end cars and those types of things
so getting the technology to a point where not only is it small enough to fit
into motor vehicles but also makes the motor vehicle look good and is reliable
and can actually do the task of piloting the vehicle in traffic not just on
highways but in our urban environments as well the third one is ergonomic s'
the interaction between the driver and the vehicle and whether the technology
is going to be advanced enough that the driver doesn't have to come back into
the driving task and take over and try to save him or him or herself and to
save other road users on the roadway then there's the ethical issue of these
computers in these vehicles and when traffic crashes occur what is the
ethical dilemma that these computers what is this decision that they're going
to make and if you haven't seen iRobot already definitely have a look at that
because it addresses that ethical issue that these autonomous vehicles are going
to have to address to be available to mass consumerism and then as well the
social protest the traditionalists who want to drive
their own vehicles and don't actually want autonomous vehicles the cost of the
motor vehicle that's another reason is the cost of this technology and is it
going to outweigh the benefits of having self-driving vehicles or are we just
going to be more beneficial with people who work as taxi drivers work as bus
drivers or truck drivers does that out does that benefit outweigh the cost in
other words is it cheaper to pay people to drive vehicles or the cost of the
technology for autonomous vehicles is it really going to have all of the benefits
that they say it's going to have of reducing congestion in urban areas
reducing the environmental footprint that vehicles currently have and as well
increasing fuel economy the other question of autonomous vehicles and
vehicles in the future in general is is what is the power source that we are
going to use are we still going to be driving petrol engines engines that burn
gasoline and diesel fuel in another 20 30 40 years and I know that the media is
touting electricity is the new environmental fuel source for cars but
the problem is is that somehow electricity has to be generated here in
North America or one of the few countries in the world that actually
generates electricity from hydroelectric dams where we're using the power of
water to generate electricity a lot of companies in our countries in the world
still burn coal to generate electricity so that is not really a viable
environmental alternative to petrol engines because we can make petrol
engines more efficient I thoroughly convinced that we in fact can make
petrol engines more efficient but electricity is not the viable
alternative that we're looking for in terms of a power source to reduce the
environmental footprint of motor vehicles so the social protest component
consists of people who are going to lose their jobs because of autonomous
vehicles as well people who are resistant to the technology and are
going to hack the software in these autonomous vehicles and present a form
of terrorism that has to be dealt with in terms of autonomous vehicles because
when that happens when we get people who are hacking the technology the same as
the Luddites in the early 19th century who broke in to see
factories and destroyed the equipment you get hackers hacking into the
software and people are dying it makes it so that it's not reliable and people
don't feel safe and when people don't feel safe they're not going to buy the
technology so that's the last one of the one of the biggest barriers one of the
bigger barriers to autonomous vehicles not overtaking our roadways question for
my smart drivers do you think that autonomous vehicles are going to come to
our roadways sooner than the 22nd century leave a comment down in the
comment section there all of that helps out the new drivers and you know adds to
the discussion here about autonomous vehicles because personally I'm all for
autonomous vehicles but I do want them to be safe before I get in one so leave

Mal Breaks Uma's Contract - Part 34 - Descendants in Avalor Disney - Duration: 5:11.
Disney Doll Story
Contract.
My final hope.
Is that the Avalor's contract?
Freddie.
We are going to get Mal and Avalor all at the same time.
Uma.
Maybe we should wait until you feel better.
If I get more power, I can cure my own sickness.
Uma.
Uma.
Here.
What is this place?
Elena's cabin.
Nobody lives here.
Let's stay here until the barrier comes down.
No.
I'm going back.
Ben, let Uma and Mal fight this one out?
Please stay here with me.
Uma, let's stay here.
Audrey?
Ben?
Uma.
Stay back or or I will
We have a problem.
It's about Mal.
Yes, I saw it too.
What happened?
Mal was like a human sceptor of light.
Audrey was controlling Mal's power like it was hers.
What if that was Uma?
Mateo, Mal is too dangerous as is.
We have to do something.
there is a way.
Tell me.
We can bind Mal's magic, so she can't use it.
Wait.
What about Uma's contract?
Mal is under Uma's contract.
But Uma is sick.
With her condition, she can't break Mateo's magic or could she?
Then we better do it now.
We don't want to fight.
Good.
Uma needs a place to stay.
She's too sick.
Put her here.
We need to get her home.
I can't take down the barrier.
Only Uma and Mal can.
Ben, you are alright.
Mal, you have to let Uma out of here.
Ben.
Where is she?
Mal.
No one can win this.
Let her go.
No.
Even if Mal wants to let her go, I can't.
Ben, where is she?
I can't tell you.
She must be very close.
Search the area.
Uma.
It's over.
You are completely surrounded.
Ben.
Ben.
What are you doing here with Uma and Audrey?
Mal, it's not what you think.
Ben.
How could you?
Uma.
We need to get out of here.
Uma.
Your days are over.
Here.
What is this?
I'm going to trap you inside a picture.
Just the way I was for a hundred years.
It's ready.
I am not going down that easily.
Mal.
I am going to collect on my contract right now.
Mal.
Get out of here.
Mal.
Give me your power.
You know what happens if you don't fulfill your contract.
Mal.
Don't.
If you give her that power, Uma will become unstoppable.
Mal, think carefully.
I will take your soul and the souls of people of Avalor.
Give it to me.
Just give it to her.
Sorry Mal.
Bind.
What?
Mal.
You can't give her your magic.
Give me your power now.
I can't.
Then you leave me no choice.
Mal you broke my contract.
No.
No.
No.
By the power of the sea, I take the souls of Mal and the people of Avalor.
Uma.
No.
No.
You clearly underestimated the power of my contract.
Mal.
Mal.
Mal.
I can't believe you became my polyp.
Let her go.
Please.
No.
I feel so powerful.
What just happened?
I warned you about the power of my contract, but you clearly didn't believe me.
What happened to all my people?
I just consumed the souls of all of your people.
Avalor is now a kingdom of polyps.
No.
No.

Amazing Revelation of President Trump in the Bible! | Jonathan Cahn - Duration: 28:31.
Is there a supernatural dimension,
a world beyond the one we know?
Is there life after death?
Do angels exist?
Can our dreams contain messages from Heaven?
Can we tap into ancient secrets of the supernatural?
Are healing miracles real?
Sid Roth has spent over 35 years researching the strange world of
the supernatural.
Join Sid for this edition of It's Supernatural!
[Applause]
Michael Brown: Hello.
I'm Michael Brown filling in for Sid Roth.
Welcome to my world where it is naturally supernatural.
Baal worship in America, channeling spirits in the White
House, celebrating immorality in the government,
you think it's too late for our nation,
too dark in our nation, but I'm telling you we could be on the
verge of the greatest outpouring in America's history.
Are you ready?
[Applause]
I'm here with my friend Jonathan Cahn.
Jonathan, your book "The Harbinger",
instant national bestseller, really impacted the nation,
a warning of coming judgment.
You have a new book, "The Paradigm",
which is even more explosive.
Tell us about this.
Jonathan Cahn: "The Paradigm" really is the master blueprint.
If you can imagine, what if there was a blueprint about
what's happening right now that goes back almost 3000 years,
but lies behind everything that's happening.
This is a biblical paradigm and it's not like the other
dimension of the "The Harbinger".
"The Harbinger" is showing the signs of warning of judgment.
Well this is everything else.
We are replaying an ancient mystery where we are right now.
And it's amazing and it is something,
it's true, it's real and it's there.
Michael Brown: Where is this paradigm found?
Jonathan Cahn: Well when you look in the Bible and you look
at what happened to ancient Israel,
Israel knew God, but they turned away from God.
They drove God out of their lives.
They called evil good, they promoted immorality and they
started lifting up their children as sacrifices to Baal,
and they started descending.
Well we are replaying that.
America has known God.
We've been replaying.
We've been calling good evil, we've been promoting immorality,
we've been lifting up our children.
Michael Brown: So as Israel did...
Jonathan Cahn: We are doing, exactly.
But here's the thing.
It's not just a general thing.
There is a specific period in Israel's history,
in the Bible, a specific period that the apostasy accelerates,
it deepens where the leaders actually are promoting it now.
It's almost like a war of culture.
Well that period, that special period,
that's where we are now.
It's accelerated and that is where the paradigm actually gets
so specific it gives details, it gives names,
it gives dates, all that.
That's the setting of "The Paradigm".
Michael Brown: Let's start, let's focus on an individual,
the king in this paradigm.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
The culture begins where in the Bible there is a king who rises
up and he is the first one who pioneers,
he's like pushing Baal worship, and the name is Ahab,
or Achab in Hebrew, Ahab.
And he rises up.
Now he is a divided man.
He was actually raised, his culture is supposed to be about
God, but he's divided.
He's compromised.
He's actually weak willed in many ways,
but he launches this war.
He's the first one to actually champion from the throne Baal
worship, which is the offering up of children.
Now could there be a parallel?
Well there is.
There's a man who is, who rises as president.
He is Bill Clinton.
He's going to follow the template of Ahab.
He's a man who's divided, he's compromised.
He actually came from the Bible Belt.
He has, he's weak willed in many ways,
but he champions, he's the first president to champion abortion
from the White House.
He's the first president to champion various forms of
immorality, and also, by the way,
Ahab also is going to be known for scandal as well.
But yes, he has someone with him.
It's the first time in Israel's history that the Bible speaks
about a team, a king and queen, both engaging
in this culture war.
And so who's the other one?
The other one is of course Jezebel.
Again, we got to pray for everyone.
But Jezebel, Jezebel, she's the daughter of a pagan priestess,
she actually, who worships Ashtoreth.
This is, that was her father who worshiped that.
So she's stepped in female power.
She's goes, she's from a cosmopolitan culture,
but she moves to a conservative culture to be with her husband.
Okay, that's where he's from.
But she maintains her identity.
She will champion, she will seek biblical traditional values as
deep-seated religious beliefs as a hindrance.
She will war against them.
She will also champion, she's the champion of Baal worship.
And so her main cause is the offering up of children
in the end.
So what is the parallel?
Well it's very clear and that is not that Bill Clinton
was not alone.
It was a team for the first time in American history.
You had a president and a co, kind of co-presidency and you
have, she is, Hillary Clinton is an advocate of female power,
advocate of abortion.
She literally said deep seated religious beliefs have
to be changed.
Michael Brown: All right.
So hang on.
You're saying that the same way that it happened in Israel,
same timeframes in some prophetic sense from God is
being lived out again, even to the same dates?
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
Let me give you an example.
Bill Clinton, when did he come on the national stage?
Well he was elected as Governor of Arkansas.
He goes right from there, later on he becomes President.
So '79, so when did he end?
It was 2001, his office is ended.
He leaves the presidency.
So you have 1979 to 2001.
How many years?
It's 22 years.
Open up the Bible to what it says.
How long was Ahab?
Ahab, the days of Ahab were 22 years,
the same exact.
Michael Brown: All right, so you have Ahab with this Jezebel.
Again, we're not calling Hillary Clinton Jezebel.
We're praying for her.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes, it's a template.
You got to pray.
It's a template.
Michael Brown: You got to pray.
It's a template.
But she brings in stuff with her,
doesn't she?
Jonathan Cahn: Well what does the Bible say about Jezebel?
It's not saying that she knew what she was doing,
that Hillary Clinton knew what she was dong.
But Jezebel, it says literally, "Brought in priests of the gods
and goddesses into the palace to the highest throne."
You see that in the Bible.
Well could that happen?
It may be crazy.
How would it happen with the White House?
Well it actually happened.
In the Clinton years, what happens is the Clintons actually
bring spiritual advisors, they're not biblical,
they're new age advisors, to Camp David and to the White
House, and literally, they have sessions,
this is Hillary Clinton, has a woman there who's called a high
priestess who actually speaks of the goddesses.
She had a goddess around her neck,
an image of a goddess around her neck.
She actually, the worship of these goddesses in the time of
Jezebel involved channeling, involved speaking to the dead.
Michael Brown: Séances.
Jonathan Cahn: Something like that,
and actually they had channeling in the White House.
Hillary Clinton was actually speaking as someone who was not,
who was dead, and the actual, this woman actually spoke,
she wrote a book about speaking to the gods and goddesses,
and she actually mentions the goddess of Jezebel in her book.
And they actually had these sessions in the White House,
so even this took place.
Crazy, but it actually happened in the book,
"The Paradigm."
Michael Brown: All right, friend,
we are just getting started.
You won't believe what's coming next.
[Applause]
We'll be right back to It's Supernatural!
We now return to It's Supernatural!
[Applause]
Michael Brown: Welcome back, friends.
I am here with my guest Jonathan Cahn.
All right, this is kind of mind blowing stuff,
and obviously you're reading the Word and it started to jump off
the pages.
Wow, we've seen this before.
Could it be happening again?
So let's keep going.
Where are things after Bill Clinton?
Jonathan Cahn: Well a few things.
First of all, in the book, in "The Paradigm" there's something
called the nemesis.
Now here's something that happens in "The Paradigm",
in the ancient one and what's happening now.
In the time of that king, Ahab, comes a nemesis,
an arch enemy of Israel.
He rises up and he threatens Israel.
He threatens to invade it.
He actually will invade it.
He becomes, and so he, in the time of Ahab,
Ahab actually has a chance to eliminate this man and he
doesn't do it, and God actually judges him.
What happens, and this man, this enemy is going to bring
destruction to the land.
Okay.
Could this happen actually now?
Well here's the paradigm.
In the days of that king, that's Clinton,
will rise a nemesis, an enemy of the nation.
Well he rises from the Middle East and according to the
paradigm, and his name is Osama Bin Laden.
He rises in this time.
He threatens America.
Clinton actually has a chance to take him out,
I'm not judging him, just like Ahab did,
but he passes on it.
It will end up bringing destruction to America.
That happens there.
In the paradigm, the man's name, his name is kind of a hyphenated
name, it's Ben-Hadad.
Well that first name in Arabic, B-N,
in Hebrew it's just B-N, Ben or Bin.
It even gives the parameter of his name,
Bin Laden has the same first part.
The thing is calamity comes on the land,
but then remember how long it took to get Bin Laden?
It took many years.
They thought they would get him.
You know, but what happened, according to the paradigm,
here's what happens.
It actually says he will be assassinated,
according to the paradigm.
It says, according to the paradigm,
he will be assassinated in his bedroom.
While he's sleeping they will come in and he will be
assassinated in his bedroom.
So Bin Laden was, so this ancient nemesis was.
And actually, according to the paradigm,
it says he will be assassinated ten years after the calamity.
Go ten years, it brings you to 2011,
the assassination of Bin Laden.
[Applause]
Michael Brown: The life of Ahab.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
Michael Brown: The scandal with a man named Naboth,
in Hebrew, Nabot, what happened?
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
Well just to give a brief thing, you know,
it involves Ahab and Jezebel.
They take the vineyard of this man.
They kill him.
They have a false witness.
He breaks about like maybe half of the Ten Commandments almost
to do this, coveting and false witness.
Well it's a scandal.
So it's not just that there's apostasy,
there's scandal.
Well the Clinton years were also known,
obviously, for scandal and there was a major,
the major scandal happened, involved also coveting,
also false witness and many things.
And so when did it happen?
According to the paradigm, in happens in
the 19th year of Ahab.
Okay, that's when it happens.
So let's take what we had before.
Clinton comes on the stage in 1979,
add 19 years, it brings you to the year 1998.
That is the year of the Lewinsky scandal,
the great scandal of his presidency.
In fact, he came on the stage January of 1998.
Add the 19 years, it comes to January.
January 1998 pinpoints the month that the scandal breaks.
Michael Brown: What is the Mystery of Days?
Jonathan Cahn: Okay.
All right.
Here is the thing.
There's a lot of things that we only,
of course, we won't have chance to touch on things.
Michael Brown: Just touch on it.
Jonathan Cahn: But just to give you an example here.
When then scandal is uncovered of Ahab,
and he's rebuked by Elijah, okay,
he actually repents.
The Bible says he repented and so God says,
okay, I'm not going to bring judgment right now.
I'm going to give a certain space of time.
How long was that time?
It was three years.
Okay, so first thing, could an American president actually
repent publically?
Well it's only happened really once where someone told him,
it was actually Bill Clinton and finally he repented
of that affair.
Now he did, when did that happen?
It happened in the White House.
It happened at the White House Prayer Breakfast where he
finally says, "Listen, I didn't repent before,
this is my repentance.
I have sinned."
It happens in there.
So let's take the paradigm.
The paradigm, three, if you go to the Bible,
three years after the king's repentance there will be a
calamity that comes on the land.
Okay.
You can see it in the Bible.
So three years after.
So if you take the moment of his repentance,
add three years to it, it brings you to an exact date,
it brings you to September 11, 2001,
the exact day of the calamity.
In fact, he repented in the morning.
You take three years to the day in the morning,
it happens in the morning.
That event started at 8:30.
That pinpoints the hour of 9/11.
It happened at 8:46.
The repentance of the king happens between 9 and 10.
That's the peak of 9/11.
The event ended at 10:30.
9/11 ended when the last tower came down at 10:29,
within one minute of three years.
That's how exact this is, Mike.
This is the master blueprint.
Michael Brown: All right, what happens to the queen?
We know Jezebel has an heir.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
Michael Brown: The parallel here,
the queen and the heir.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
People think that Ahab got killed,
then Jezebel gets judged.
No.
Jezebel, this is what happens.
The king's reign ends, but Jezebel goes on
in the halls of power.
She remains in the halls of power,
she dwells in the capitol city, she keeps going for some,
for a good period of time, even that time period is going to be
exact, too.
So she goes on and then, and at one point we know Hillary
Clinton, what happens with her, she goes on,
she stays in power, she stays in the halls of power,
and then she attempts to be president.
Well according to the paradigm, at least during this time she
doesn't become president.
What happens is this, another, someone else becomes,
a man who is a lot younger than her,
in the paradigm, becomes president,
Joram.
Joram opens up the next template and that is Obama.
Michael Brown: So he's the heir.
Jonathan Cahn: He's the heir because,
he's not related by flesh and blood,
but he follows in the footsteps, he takes the agenda of Bill
Clinton and he continues it into this,
he's the political heir of that.
Now Joram dwells in the palace with the former queen.
So exactly, even that, he invites Hillary Clinton,
they dwell together in that time.
What you see, he's a cooler personality.
He's all over the place, but what you see is a hostility to
God, a continuous hostility to God in that and that's what you
see as well in the Obama years.
But also, interesting, when I mention that the nemesis is
killed later on.
Well he's killed in the reign of Joram.
It means during Obama, the paradigm is saying during Obama,
during that time, Osama Bin Laden will be killed.
And actually Jezebel and Joram are in the White House.
So Obama and Hillary Clinton are in the White House when he's
killed.
Michael Brown: All right.
Could it be that this paradigm actually predicts President
Trump and what's happening?
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
Michael Brown: That's where we're going next.
[Applause]
We'll be right back to It's Supernatural!
We now return to It's Supernatural!
[Applause]
Michael Brown: What we know in Scripture that we can see as
things happen in Israel, they're happening in America or there's
a template when God brings judgment.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
Michael Brown: You were saying that studying Scripture,
studying the ancient historical books of Israel you discovered
that part of these parallels are striking and could it even lay
things out in advance if we're looking at it,
and this is what's coming next.
So we know our history.
We know the problems we've had with our administrations.
And now we see someone emerging, someone unexpected,
and in the paradigm you talk about the warrior.
Who's the warrior?
Jonathan Cahn: So you have the House of Ahab.
If he stays in power it's going to seal the apostasy.
So God, something happens.
It's going to be a showdown.
Someone rises up in the book, in "The Paradigm",
it's called, he's called the warrior.
Michael Brown: But he's not just like a kind of quiet.
Jonathan Cahn: No, no, not quiet at all.
No, not quiet at all by any stretch of the imagination.
Michael Brown: Peacemaker.
Jonathan Cahn: No, no.
He's a warrior.
He's not even a politician.
Michael Brown: In the paradigm.
Jonathan Cahn: In the paradigm.
He's a warrior.
He's a fighter.
He fights with everybody, okay, in the paradigm.
He's name is Jehu.
Michael Brown: Zealous, very zealous.
Jonathan Cahn: He's zealous.
Michael Brown: He's got some rough edges.
Jonathan Cahn: He is not gentle at all.
He is coarse.
He's a fighter.
He's fighting everybody and he begins this race to the throne.
Read the, he actually begins a race to the throne,
and the Bible describes the race as,
the word is "crazy".
They said he was crazy.
He drives crazy.
The man drives furiously.
It's crazy.
But he gets to the throne.
Even though it's a crazy race, he gets to the throne.
Michael Brown: And he has a certain zeal for the things.
Jonathan Cahn: Yes.
The zeal is a crazy zeal, but he's used by God,
and he's the most unlikely person.
The commoners can't even agree if he's saved or not,
but he's being used of God.
And so what happens, I'll just, we can only touch on some
things, but he ends up in a show to show,
a showdown against the former queen.
So you have the former queen, and you have Hillary Clinton,
you have the warrior, you have Donald Trump.
Okay.
And so now here's the thing, Michael.
I said if you knew the paradigm before these things,
I knew the paradigm.
I didn't even know.
If we knew it you could have actually foretold all this.
All the polls were saying Hillary Clinton,
Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton.
The paradigm was saying no.
Michael Brown: And there are prophetic words about Donald
Trump being like a Divine wrecking ball,
as you call him, God's chaos candidate.
But that's like Jehu.
Jonathan Cahn: That's Jehu.
That's exactly Jehu.
Everything, Michael.
So the things the paradigm was saying,
no, when the warrior meets the former queen,
the warrior will defeat the former queen and it will be a
downfall, and that's exactly what happens.
There is so much, there are details to this, too.
So he wins.
He now heads to the capitol city.
Jehu heads to the capitol city.
Now why does he head to the capitol city?
To drain the swamp.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
This is not political here.
The thing is that Jehu specifically is ending Baal
worship, which is what, the offering up of children.
So even Trump puts as his agenda we want to dismantle this,
which leads to the next thing.
And that is that when he goes there he actually destroys the
temple of Baal in the capitol city.
Now the temple of Baal was built by Ahab.
And so what, he starts dismantling the system of
killing children.
Well that has been, one of the first things Trump did was sign
the executive orders to start, to try to dismantle it.
But interesting, now beyond this,
could there be another sign.
Well the thing is that when Jehu rises,
when he goes to the capitol, the temple of Baal falls.
So here's the paradigm.
When the warrior rises the temple of Baal falls.
Could there actually be a temple of Baal in the world?
Well there is.
There was a temple of Baal that stood for 2000 years in the
Middle East.
It survived everything.
But when Trump rose, the temple of Baal in the Middle East fell,
was destroyed.
It was destroyed.
And it happened in 2015.
You can check it out.
Happened in the summer.
Just after Trump announces his rise,
it falls.
Even that.
And here's another thing, Michael.
I said all the parameters are there.
Well let's take the days, in the book,
there's something called the Days of the Queen.
So how long does Jezebel, how long is Hillary Clinton?
She was the First Lady of Arkansas to the First Lady of
America.
Her rise with her husband was 22 years.
Then how long does she go on?
She goes on for 12 years.
She's Senator and she's Secretary of State.
Then she retires from public life for two years,
if you read, then she comes back for two years to campaign for
the presidency.
Well that comes out to 14 years.
So you have 22 years, you have 14 years.
Look up at Jezebel and put it together.
Jezebel was with her husband reigning for 22 years.
She went on for how long, 14 years,
the exact same thing.
The exact same.
Michael Brown: All right.
So what is coming next and as you understand this paradigm,
do we have hope for the future?
Jonathan Cahn: Okay.
First of all, yes, in the paradigm there's something
called about the days to come.
Actually, the paradigm actually converges with the harbinger
because it's the same setting.
The first thing, what's happened is now this is a window.
According to the paradigm, this is a window like a reprieve
where we have a chance for revival.
We have a chance.
You know, it just depends what we do with it.
But there's a whole thing about the future in there.
We have one minute to go so I'm just going to say this.
So yes, we are at a dangerous period.
There is a warning in the paradigm,
actually what Jehu does or doesn't do,
but there is also a chance.
There is something in the paradigm called the Elijah
paradigm and that is, it actually contains the keys for
believers right now.
What are we to do?
How are we to live?
How are we to overcome?
How can there be revival?
That's in the Elijah paradigm because Elijah is in this,
too, and that's the final part.
So there is hope.
As long as there's God, there's hope,
but it's, the thing is that we've got to be like Elijah.
The days of easy Christianity are over.
We have to be radical.
We have to be bold.
We have to be on fire.
We have to stand up for the truth and God will use it.
God will anoint the Elijahs of the day.
Michael Brown: All right Jonathan,
I need you to pray right now for the rising of that Elijah spirit
among the people of God.
Jonathan Cahn: Okay.
Lord, we just ask your hand on this nation,
Father.
We thank you that you're never finished.
We thank you, Lord that you have promised revival if we will come
before you.
Father, we ask for the spirit of Elijah to come upon this nation,
come upon the church, come upon the one listening.
Lord, take away the spirit of timidity and,
Lord, give a spirit of boldness, of confidence,
of Elijah, Lord.
Help us to be, Lord, these are the days of Elijah.
Help us to be the Elijahs of the day.
Help us to rise up and, Lord, we pray let there be revival
in the land.
Let there be revival in Washington,
revival in the coast land, revival in the cities.
Let there be revival, Lord.
Come soon and have your way.
We praise you in the name of the Yeshua Hamashiach,
Jesus the Messiah, the Lord of all.
Amen.
Michael Brown: Amen.
Amen.
[Applause]
Amen.
Amen.
Friends, here's the bottom line.
These are urgent times, but there is hope.
God, start the revival with you and with me.
It's time.
[Applause]
Sid: Next week on It's Supernatural!

How Die Hard Almost Made Bruce Willis Deaf - Duration: 1:46.
(typing)
- For a while, Bruce Willis was
the coolest man on the planet.
But as the years have piled up,
he has slowly morphed into a cantankerous coot.
A coot who could kick your ass, sure,
but a coot nonetheless.
But there's a good reason why
he appears so constantly frustrated,
craning his neck and furrowing his brow
as if he's struggling mightily
to keep up with the flow of conversation.
That reason? Die Hard.
The man, it turns out, sacrificed his physical wellbeing
to bring us the scruffy perfection that is John McClane.
In his own words, or rather, in his words but
in my imperfect impression of him,
"Due to an accident on the first Die Hard,
I suffered two-thirds partial hearing loss
in my left ear and have a tendency to say, 'Whaaa?'"
So he's not just being willfully obtuse
for the sake of being obnoxious, it seems.
After all, it's no coincidence that "Die Hard"
is an anagram for "I'd heard"
as in, "I had heard,"
as in, past tense, meaning I can't anymore.
I mean, it is a coincidence,
but sometimes pretending is fun.
Apparently a gun went off near his ear while filming.
(loud machine gun fire)
And the point is don't judge Bruce too harshly
when he runs like a gramps every time
he gets near a microphone.
It could also explain his bad choices.
For all we know, when someone said,
"Do you want to make a fifth Die Hard?"
what he had heard was,
"Do you want to taste some fly chard?"
And he reflexively said, "Hell yes!"
because who doesn't want to get down with
some cool healthy veggies?

Lake Placid 3 -- Movie Review #JPMN - Duration: 2:52.
That does it for this quick excerpt - but if you'd like to watch more "Movie Night",
click or tap the thumbnails on the left.
And don't forget to visit the Jogwheel YouTube channel to see full episodes of this show
in addition to the other content I produce.

Jeep Wrangler T-REX Sport Series Formed Mesh Grille (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:13.
This T-REX Sport Series Formed Mesh Grille with Hood Lock Cut Out is for those of you
that have a 2007 and up JK and are looking for a mesh grille insert to change up the
look of your Jeep and also to protect your radiator a little bit.
Now, in general, these mesh inserts are going to do both of those things.
You're going to have an aesthetic impact on your Jeep and they are going to offer some
protection.
But if you have a hood lock for a little bit more security, you're not going to be able
to easily access that through your more traditional mesh grilles.
So this one here has the cut out for access to either a Bolt hood lock or a Mopar hood
lock so it's going to give you that security, it's going to give you the protection, it's
gonna give you the look.
It really does integrate a lot of things all together.
Now, T-REX is one of those companies that's known for making a very high-quality product.
You are going to get a premium grille insert from this company, but you also are going
to have to pay a premium price along with that.
Now, while this does feel a lot more substantial when you take it out of the box than some
of the less-expensive mesh grille inserts on the market, you are going to have to be
willing to pay that additional price for that additional quality.
As far as construction goes, as I mentioned, this is going to be a very well-built piece.
The upper section here that is one solid piece of steel is very, very [inaudible 00:01:16],
very strong, especially for something that really isn't structural, isn't holding any
weight, isn't going to take a beating.
If anything, this is going to be overbuilt, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
The mesh itself is, of course, made out of round woven steel material and even that is
going to be of a higher gauge, a thicker material than a lot of the less expensive mesh grille
inserts on the market.
Again, what really sets us apart from the other ones aside from the high quality is
this cut out in the center here and that is going to give you access to two different
brands of hood locks, again, Bolt and Mopar.
If you have one of the other brands of hood locks, this may work, it may not.
It's definitely going to work for Bolt and Mopar though.
I'm gonna stick with a one out of three wrenches on this installation.
Even though there is some drilling to do, as I mentioned, it's not going to be something
that if you would ever remove this mesh grille insert, that you would ever see.
Those holes are going to be completely hidden.
And if you take your time, if you're careful, this still is going to be a very easy install
even though there is that bit of drilling.
I would say this is going to take you about an hour to get it installed.
By the time you remove the grille off the Jeep, drill your holes, get this mounted up,
and get the grille back on the Jeep, but that does account for measuring twice, three times
before marking and drilling those holes to make sure everything is in the right spot.
So the first step in the instillation is going to be removing that grille off of the Jeep.
There are some plastic pushpins across the top of the grille that you have to remove,
and you can remove those with a pair of needle-nose pliers or a plastic trim tool.
Once those are removed, just give the bottom of the grille a pull to completely remove
it.
Make sure that you've removed your turn signal wires first.
You'll have to give your turn signal plugs a quarter turn to remove them from the housing
in order to get the grille completely removed from the Jeep.
Now, set it on a blanket, something soft, something that's not going to scratch it.
You wanna set the face down so your grille inserts face down on top of it, and that's
where you're going to be able to mark all of your holes.
Drill and use the included hardware and J-clips to get this attached to the inside of your
factory grille.
Once that's done it's just a matter of clipping the factory grille back into the old location.
Put all of those plastic pushpins back in, reinstall your turn signals into the housing,
and you're going to be finished.
Again, a fairly easy install, there is a little bit of drilling to do, but they are going
to be hidden holes.
So I think this is something that a lot of you can do in your driveway.
This mesh grille insert is gonna come in at $275.
And as I've said a couple of times now, that is going to be more than a lot of the other
ones on the market.
It does have the hood lock access which you are going to be paying for, but you're also
paying for the incredibly high quality of this mesh grille insert.
So if you're looking for a very high-quality mesh grille insert with hood lock access,
I definitely recommend looking at this one from T-REX.
And you can find it right here at extremeterrain.com.

Practice Problem: The Mini-Golf Windmill - Duration: 3:02.
It's a lovely day, so you hit the mini-golf course to enjoy some sun and putting.
You reach the hole with the big windmill, and decide to do a little physics to ensure
that you will get past the obstacle.
The windmill has four blades, each of which are a quarter of a meter wide, and they turn
with a counterclockwise angular speed of one hundred degrees per second.
The distance from the tee to the tunnel that the blades pass in front of is five meters.
You do a few calculations and decide that the optimum velocity for the ball will be
3.6 meters per second.
If we consider the green to be frictionless, and the tunnel is precisely covered by one
of the blades at the instant that you hit the ball, will you indeed make it through
the obstacle unscathed?
To answer this we need both linear kinematics and rotational kinematics, so check out my
tutorials on these subjects if you need to, otherwise go ahead and figure out if this
shot is going to work.
So this one is pretty straightforward, we just need to calculate how long it will take
for the ball to reach the tunnel, and then figure out how much the windmill has rotated
during that time.
It's a five meter distance, so five meters divided by 3.6 meters per second means that
it takes 1.4 seconds to get there.
The windmill rotates at one hundred degrees per second, so we multiply that by 1.4 seconds,
and we get one hundred forty degrees.
So let's turn this thing ninety degrees, and then another fifty, and we can see that
the tunnel is wide open, so the ball should indeed pass right through without a problem.
As it happens, you had ten bucks riding on this game, so don't say that physics never
did anything for you.

TEXT Function, which makes dates and numbers easily read and understood【Excel Skills】 - Duration: 6:23.
Today We'll discuss the TEXT function, which makes dates and numbers easily read and understood.
[Intro Video]
Hi, this is Mike Negami, Lean Sigma Black Belt.
I talked about the SUMIFS function in my last video.
At that time we converted the dates of each month by a function in the work column.
The function I used was the TEXT function.
If you enter '= TEXT' in a cell, the function's description will appear.
It says "Converts a value to text in a specific number format."
That's not very understandable.
Let's see the actual formula.
Click the formula bar, then you'll see an explanation of how to complete that formula.
The parts separated by commas in the parentheses of Excel functions are called arguments.
In this function there are two arguments.
Also, if an argument refers to another cell, the argument becomes a color and the referred
to cell becomes the same color.
This time it's blue.
This feature is very useful when a formula becomes very complicated.
In this example, the first argument refers to a purchase date in Column C. The second
argument is ""format_text"" and specifies how to display the result based on the format.
Four 'y's as in 'year' display the year, and two 'm's as in 'month' display the month in
two digits.
If you change it to four 'm's, it displays the month in English and if changed to three
'm's, it displays the month in three letters.
Also, if you add one 'd' as in 'day', it displays the day.
Changing it to 4 'd's displays the weekday in English.
If you don't use English on your computer, you may see something differently.
There is a solution for that.
Each language has a language code and putting the code at the beginning in the 'format_text'
displays it properly.
I'll show you that.
The language codes are 409 for English, 40a for Spanish, 439 for Hindi, 43e for Malay,
etc.
Put them in this format that you're seeing.
By the way, you may have wondered how this TEXT function can actually be useful.
In fact, it can be used to aggregate data by year or weekday, and many other ways.
My company is a foodservice company.
I often use this TEXT function to compare sales between weekdays.
This TEXT function can change not only the date but also other numerical values to displays
various formats.
For details, please refer to Excel Help.
This is very handy function of Excel.
While connecting to the Internet, press the 'F1' key on your keyboard to bring up
Excel Help and you can search detailed explanations easily.
Whenever you have a question, click the 'F1' key.
Lastly, I'll show you examples of how I often use this TEXT function.
I often see others' data analysis only showing numbers and missing a solid conclusion.
When you want to highlight your conclusion and add a little explanation, this TEXT function
is a must to use.
For example, let's say that 2.85% is the final result of a data analysis.
If it says "The final result is 2.85%.""
near the result, it will be easier for my readers to understand my conclusion.
Let's do it here.
Type '=' and 'The final result is', then it becomes an error.
There is a rule that when enclosing a text in a formula, it has to be surrounded by double
quotation marks.
Therefore, put double quotation marks around the text, then it will show properly.
Next, in order to connect the result of Cell L2, you can use an '&' mark.
Put an '&' and select the 2.85% cell, then you can connect them.
However, it shows 0.0285 without the '%' sign.
Excel treats % as a format.
Here the TEXT function is in play.
After the '&' mark, type TEXT and '(' (parenthesis).
After the 'L2', add a ',' (comma).
Then, 'format_text' becomes in bold.
The format_text of % is ""0.00%".
You can change its decimal by changing the number of '0's.
Then, close the parentheses and % appears now.
However, I should have put a space after 'is', so I'll do so.
Lastly, add another '&' and double quotation and '.' (period) and another double quotation.
Now it looks great.
By using this TEXT function, you can make your data analysis more meaningful to your
readers.
Please use this many times to master it.
Thank you very much for viewing.

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere to return to the first-team in the EFL Cup clash against Doncaster - Duration: 2:45.
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere to return to the first-team in the EFL Cup clash against Doncaster Rovers on September 20
JACK WILSHERE is set to return to Arsenals first-team in the EFL Cup clash against Doncaster Rovers on September 20. Gunners midfielder, 25, hasnt played under Arsene Wenger since August 2016 as he aims to break back into the starting XI.
Jack Wilshere is set to play in Arsenals EFL Cup clash with Doncaster this month.
Arsenal man is still recovering from a broken leg sustained at Bournemouth. Wilshere turned out twice in the Premier League for Arsenal last season, in the 0-0 draw against Leicester and the 3-1 win over Watford – both in August.
After that he spent the season on loan at Eddie Howes Bournemouth where he racked up 27 top-flight appearances. However, a broken leg sustained in the heavy 4-0 defeat against Tottenham ended his season early – in April.
Now Wenger is keen to ease Wilshere back into first-team action slowly and let him find his feet again in a more low-key fixture.
The EFL Cup third-round game will take place at the Emirates Stadium on September 20 – and could be Arsenal fans first glimpse of the local lad this season.
Wilshere has also been named in the Gunners Europa League squad for the group stage games – with Arsenal taking on Koln on September 14.
Arsenals Jack Wilshere appears to fiight in the tunnel after he was sent of in U23s match against Manchester City.
Jack Wilshere has turned out for Arsenals Under-23s this summer.
Jack Wilshere sent off for Arsenal Under-23s after flooring Manchester City's Matt Smith sparking brawl in middle of pitch.
Meanwhile, the English midfielder took a swipe at Wenger, replying to an Instagram advert for the Tyrone Mings Academy with a not so subtle dig.
Wilshere replied to the post: Do you take 25 year olds who can't get a game? I'm fully fit and ready to go. The player himself had rejected an audacious, deadline day swoop from Harry Redknapps Birmingham this summer.
Now he has been linked with another season-long loan move. this time to Turkish outfit Trabzonspor. Jack Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth.
Jack Wilshere reveals which Arsenal player has the most magic in his feet. Keep up to date with ALL the football news, gossip, transfers and goals on our club page plus fixtures, results and live match commentary.

Itch House - 03: Sightless demo 1.1 [subtitle/CC commentary only] - Duration: 29:04.
This is an RPGMaker game, and it has all the flaws that come with that. Be warned.
Weather forecasts, too!
o_O
Sorry about this. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't dropping frames.
You can't go off the path :/
Here either.
Just double-checking I didn't miss anything.
Gotta explore every nook and cranny.
These character designs rule. We need more friendly scorpion monsters in games.
The placeholder art is cute too.
This dragon RULES.
That was nice of them.
Gotta see all the dialogue, though.
Worth it.
This is my favorite teachmonster.
I do treasure it, small birdfriend.
Oops.
Oh no! I didn't want to fight Jello :(
I felt too guilty to throw anything heavy at him...
He was right. I can't lift something that big yet.
Yes! I'm sorry, friend!
Social link up? :D
Still no exploring yet :(
Oops. Sorry bro.
New outfit~! And... new hair?!
Those are some really nice-looking trees.
Aw, Jello built a ladder for me!
Just checking.
"Awkward" is my middle name.
Welp, that was anticlimactic.
Yay, the first town! I'm so excited!
This critter seems like bad news.
So... some parts of the game are pretty empty. But keep in mind it's just a demo!
That's good elevator SFX. Reminds me of Metal Gear.
Whoops, forgot to change the passability for this square.
I LOVE goods! Also services.
Aw, I only have 0G. That's not very many G.
Can't talk to the other person behind the counter yet.
A save point! Good time to call it. I'll continue this in another video. Thanks for watching, everyone!

DIY Solar Panel - How to Build Homemade Solar Panels from Scratch - Part 1 of 3 - Duration: 10:36.
how to make a homemade solar panel this is the first in three videos of a solar
DIY project everything you should know to build a 100 watt solar panel at home
in order to charge a 12-volt battery with solar energy a solar panel with 18
volts is required so to build a solar panel capable of charging a 12-volt
battery you will need 2 millimeters of tabbing wire and another of 5
millimeters solder wire is a must have a flux pen strapping tape also known as
short tape regular tape a solder arm between 60 and 80 watts and multimeter
one that conveyor of both voltage and current silicon paste preferably
crystalline with UV protection epoxy resin the best and easie way to do it
yourself to encapsulate the back of a solar panel this epoxy resins have
excellent adhesion to glass and acrylic plastic and ethoxy hardener here the
measure is two to one ratio and of course last but not least the solar
cells here is up to you you can purchase preet absolu cells they have tabbing
wire already attached it will cost a bit more but will saves you a lot of time
and work in video description below you find links to everything you need to
start building your solar panel let's get started the first set we have to
take is to measure the length of the tabbing wire between two cells grab two
cells and join them close to each other like this two or three millimeters
between them is enough with one cell face up is the negative side and face
down is the positive side measure the length of the tab wire along both cells
the job here now is to measure and cut the tabbing wire for all 36 cells for
your solar panel to make this task less tedious cut the
tabbing wire to one row of nine cells at a time and after that you can start cell
during the tabbing wire on the negative side of each cell to do this
first pass along each conduct line the flux pen this will prevent beading of
the solder Arum and also helps the cell to flow cleanly position the tab wire on
the cell and start soldiering from top to bottom in a continuous movement
soldiering is not so hard you get it right very fast but get prepared for a
couple hours of work so this type of 6x6 polycrystalline cells usually has three
connecting bus lines we have to weld 36 cells on the negative side first where
next it must be welded on the positive side that is the back of each cell
creating a string of 18 volts the needed current to charge a 12 volt battery one
of the best and strongest materials to use in a solar panel is tempered glass
three millimeters are more than enough for strength and durability being also
the ideal surface to start cell during your solar cells start by giving a good
cleaning
now with a clean surface we can start put things together but first let's
again see how a solar panel works the first cell in this row is the negative
side of the solar panel that will be welded to the negative bass wire
becaming this way the negative pole of the solar panel and continuing with the
next three strings of cells all welded together from front to back of each
other making this way a total of 36 cells of 18 volts
another thing to note is that solar cells are very fragile for this reason
and almost guarantee you will break one or more cells even if it is a very small
crack you can use regular tape and repair it easily now that you know how a
solar panel works it's time to connect all cells together to make this task
much easier here are some tips you can use to do this correctly
it is convenient to use a type off tweezers or even a way to hold the wire
in the correct place to weld Here I am using a scissor which works very well
another useful tip is to use normal tape to hold the cells in place in this way
they remain aligned helping you to weld more easily and quickly and if the
tabing wire is a bit long simply cut off the loose ends when you finish the job
now with all cells tab together it's time to clean again the glass surface
now with the glass clean it's time to position and secure the cells in place
by measuring the string of cells closest to the edge of the glass we find the
margin on all sides of the panel then with all cells in place we need to keep
each string of cells tightly attached to the glass first with normal tape and
next with short tape
now pass the short eight from top to bottom between each string of cells and
at the same time it is convenient to double check for any broken cells even
if there is a slight crack the cause affair is the encapsulation will pass
through it and the epoxy resin will eventually yellow over time
now with all cells secure in place let's proceed by cell during the string of
cells into the bus wire start by cutting a five millimeter wide tabbing wire to
the width size of the two middle cell strings and secure the bus wire with
regular tape
cut the loose ends of the cell tabbing wire and you're ready to solder the two
middle rows together here I will weld the tab wire from the positive side of
the cell to the bass wire which will then weld to the negative side of next
string of cells eASIC as you will see right away now is to do the same for the
other two row of cells on the top of the panel and then it ends with this two bus
wires which show the positive and the negative poles
and after this with a string of 36 cells connected to the positive and negative
bass wire we have to test if we have a promising solar panel with the panel
facing the Sun measure the voltage with a multimeter and make sure that it
produces at least more than 18 volts here I tested on a spring morning keep
in mind that solar panels always lose tension in the hottest hours depending
your region you should get about 18 point six volts during the peak Sun
hours now back to the office we going to proceed by soldering two copper wires to
the poles of the panel here you can choose to use the 5 millimeter bass wire
2 also to be connected to the junction box in the bottom middle of the panel
did I choose a pair of copper wires does the same job and I am not using a bypass
diode because I will use a PWM charge controller which protects the solar
panel and the battery from reverse current and overcharging respectfully
among other useful features watch the next video where we continue with this
extraordinaire solar panel see you there
you

Jeep Wrangler MBRP Black Series Cat-Back Exhaust (2007-2011 JK 2-Door) Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 5:41.
This MPRP Black Series Cat-Back Exhaust system is for those of you that have a 2007 to 2011
2-door JK and are looking for an exhaust system that's going to maintain that single outlet
styling but give you a lower exhaust note and additional exhaust volume.
This system is going to be a little bit less expensive than some of the other ones on the
website, because this is a system that's made of aluminized steel.
It's covered in this high temp black coating instead of being a stainless system, so will
save you a little bit of money while still giving you the lower exhaust note and additional
volume.
Now if you are looking for a system that's a little bit more high clearance, and the
RP does offer a system that will relocate the muffler from the back of the Jeep here
to an area closer to the catalytic converters, almost in the same area that the factory resonator
is in on the newer JKs, so you have a little bit less stuff to bang up on the rocks.
So if you are somebody who goes off road a lot and you're considering having a little
bit higher clearance, that could be a good system to look at.
As it says in the name this is a cat-back system and it is going to replace all of the
piping and your muffler from the catalytic converters all the way to the back of the
Jeep.
This system does come in a couple of different pieces which will make it easier to get it
installed on your JK.
So you are going to have your extension pipe, your over axel pipe, your muffler of course,
and then your tailpipe.
This system is going to be a steel system covered in that high temp black coating.
This is 16 gauge steel.
The tip itself is a 304 stainless that's also covered in that same high temp black coating.
This is going to utilize all of your factory exhaust hangers so there's no major modifications
to the Jeep necessary to get this installed, and it will come with all of the clamps that
you need to get everything installed.
This is going to be a one out three wrench install that will take you right around an
hour to complete.
If you do have some rust on your '07 to '11 JK, make sure you spray everything with a
good penetrating oil well before you get started, including all of those factory hangers.
That's gonna make it a lot easier to get this thing installed.
Exhaust systems are notoriously rust magnets, so spray everything, it will definitely help.
Now the first step in this install is going to be removing all of the factory piping from
the catalytic converters back, and you can do that by removing the factory clamps, the
factory hangers and then just prying, pulling, jiggling, whatever you need to do to get that
factory system apart.
Again this can cause a little bit of a headache but if you spray everything ahead of time
it will definitely help.
Then you can go ahead and start installing your unit system.
First, you will install the extension pipe into the catalytic converter collector pipe,
and that does have a hanger on it.
Of course, using the clamp that's included, that will go into your over axle pipe which
will lead into your muffler section and finally your tail pipe and your tip.
You can leave all of your clamps loose until you get everything aligned exactly how you
want it, then go back through, starting at the front, working your way to the back and
tighten down all of your clamps.
Like I mentioned, this is going to be a $375 cat-back system.
This is the least expensive single outlet system that we offer on the site that includes
all of the piping that this one does.
Now because this isn't going to be a stainless steel system, you do have to worry if you
live in the rust belt about rotting.
However, this does have that high temp black coating which is definitely going to help
keep the longer life in the exhaust system.
So if you want a lower exhaust note, you want a little bit more exhaust volume, you like
the blacked out look but you don't have a big budget for exhaust, I think this one is
worth looking into.
So if you're looking for a budget black single outlet exhaust system, I think the MBRP Black
Series Cat-Back is a good option for you, and you can find it right here at extremeterrain.com.
