BJ Minute - The signs - Duration: 0:53.What is the news today?
Hurricanes? Earthquakes?
Parents killing children?
Children killing parents?
About two thousand years ago the disciples of Jesus asked Him
"Lord, give us a sign of Your coming"
and He answered:
Take heed to yourselves that no one should deceive you
because in the last days there will be hurricanes
earthquakes
father killing children, children killing parents
war and rumors of war
and because of iniquity the love of many will grow cold
It is not coincidence, we are breathing this atmosphere
There is time to you
redeem yourself

Mercedes-Benz Project CARS 2: Ice Training with Nic Hamilton - Duration: 2:35.The idea of putting the Mercedes-Benz Winter Training Track experience into Project CARS 2
pretty much came from a long-lasting collaboration we've had with Mercedes.
We worked with them in Project CARS 1
and with the brand of Mercedes we're trying to think of new ways,
new ideas to make our collaboration even stronger.
Driving here in Sweden on the ice tracks is very counterintuitive.
Your brain is trying to tell you one thing because you're used to driving
on tarmac, but you know you need to do something different.
Driving on ice is a real funny thing
because with the traction on tarmac it's not possible to slide so much
And here on the ice the most important thing
is drifting all the time in every corner.
It's quite nice to get a feeling for the traction
and to get a feeling for the car
with oversteering to go and to slide through the corners.
Getting that feeling is so unique,
you know from the transitions of grip
and how to adapt your driving style.
We want to make sure that the experience is replicated just as good in the game
and so I feel like we've done that.

Los Topos - Volunteer heroes who save lives all over the world since 1985 - Duration: 4:46.My name is Ricardo Aarón Acosta Manzanero
I actually live in Cancun
and I'm a volunteer of Grupo Rescate Internacional Topos México
Los Topos were born in 19 September 1985
due to a tremendous earthquake in Mexico City
Volunteer people take work equipment
like picks, blades or bare hands
and so the group Rescatistas Voluntarios Topos was born
Journalists have nicknamed us "The Mice"
because we are like these animals that dig into the earth
We all have the same philosophy
to help, to give a hand to those who need it
We are 21 Mexicans, 21 Chileans and 2 Argentines
More than friends, they are my family
To belong to the group you have to be crazy
It's very difficult to join the group
because we are great friends
we have to know you well, know who you are,
you have to demonstrate your abilities as a rescuer
to see if you are fit for this job or not.
We all leave and we all have to come back
our philosophy is to give our life
for our companions
and if something bad happens, they all have the duty
to get me out of there and bring my body home
bring it back home
We started missions for earthquakes, hurricanes
for all natural disasters where there are missing people
The Rescue Group has been in Asia
in Australia, in Chile, in United States
and obviously in the disaster areas of our country
We never think
"you are white, you are black"
for us every life has the same value
because life is the most important thing
Our rescue team is not managed
by the government or any company
We are self-financing everything, our equipment
airline tickets and travel expenses,
all we need
we do the economic effort
to get where our help is needed
Once I had to sell my car
to be able to participate in a mission
because in that moment
I did not have the money to get to the disaster area
I believe that talented people have an innate gift
they are out of the ordinary
who see things in a different way
Two talented people ...
one of them is my mother
the other is my girlfriend Claudia
I think it is very difficult for a person to be happy
but I feel very satisfied
I have a nice family, a wonderful job
and my friends and brothers of the rescue team
To me these are three basic gears
to feel satisfied
and try to reach happiness

12 SOTAQUES DE INGLÊS AMERICANO - Duration: 13:28.We like to travel a lot, as much as we can. We live so close to the Rocky Mountains.
We do a lot of, um, weekend trips, two or three night trips, um... We're leaving on one this weekend, actually, um, into the mountains.
Typically, when she's working, I'll work. So she works twelve hours a day as a nurse.
She's an emergency room nurse. We should do a twenty things, twenty questions about Lauren!
- Yeah! - Maybe that'll be version two...
...whole year. It, it really was something that I always like wanted to try. Like, I never thought I would ever get here at all.
I just, I always was interested in YouTube as a kid. Like, I grew up watching YouTube videos.
I totally like that.
Hey honey! I brought us some tangerines. This guy was selling them on the offramp over by the 2. Devon?
What are you doing here?
Stuart? Why are you home so early?
The accent sounds like this to me. I think you'll see what I mean.
...store and buy a Coke? They called them "dopes" back then. I don't know if you've ever heard anybody say that or not.
That's what we drank when I was a kid. And it was called... they had Knee High, they had Pepsi Cola, Royal Crown Cola, a lot of them. That was "dope."
Oh, a "dope." You're talking about like a soda pop, soda water. Yeah. Yeah, soda water. Yeah, "dope."
That's all they ever called them around here as a kid, I mean that's...
...libraries on the coast and stuff like that. Except this is a valuable resource for people, in uh, in what we call the "Heartland."
I also think, you know, one of the... you just talk to these young people here. They basically... you know, it's a nice thing to go to our libraries.
We give speeches and everything. But I bet you anything that what the thing they get most out of is being with each other. And one of the things that's wrong with America today...
- Brainerd?
- Yeah! Yeah. Home of Paul Bunyan, Babe the Blue Ox. - Babe the Blue Ox.
- Yeah, you know, we got that big statue up there.
- So, you haven't any vehicles go missing then? - Nope. No ma'am.
- Okey dokey. Thanks a bunch. I'll let you get back to your paperwork then.
Oh geez! Oh man!
- We welcome US senator Mazie Hirono back to home! Welcome home. - It's great to be home Ron.
- And you've had a busy time already. It all started this past week you were with the Korean Festival. What else have you been doing?
- Well, um, yesterday I met with the new superintendent of our schools because, uh, I'm such a huge supporter of our public schools
and I wanted to touch bases with her as to what her plans are and, and her leadership, so it was a good meeting.
...no machinery, and one thing and the other led to, different, uh, ways to haul.
But now with all the modernization and everything like that, why they figure the more traps they can get out, the better they are.
They cover [??] the bottom, and, well they don't leave room for a small man to take a chance at fishing.
You've got to be a big shot or a big producer to, to get ahead.
- I look stupid. - No you don't; you look dapper!
- I don't. I look like Snuggles's accountant. - C'mon, it's not that bad.
- John, I look like something you give your kid when you tell him grandma died. - Look, I know it sucks, okay? But you gotta make some money so you can pay for an apartment.
- I, I don't wanna work at a grocery store. - Yeah but you have no skills!
- I told you, I can totally be a lawyer!
- But Peter, why would they make you president? - Well, maybe it's because I can recite all fifty states in a quarter of a second...
- You were babysitting for your father's dog? - Yes, Kinley. But she was...
- Just... Just a second! I asked you a question. Earlier. Is there another dog? No. Only one. I'm reading your statement, not his, to the authorities. So there were two dogs.
The Delaware River is full of water.
- You talkin' to me? - What are you drinking? - Water.
- What are you drinking? - Water.
I say water. Instead of water. I say water.
That's what I was gonna say. Water.
Just as I can tell when people are from New York, or people are from Boston, they can usually tell I'm from Philadelphia.
I have a friend in Pittsburgh who has a radio show. I go on about three or four times a year, and every time I go on I have to say one phrase:
"Tiger Woods hit the ball in the water." And apparently that defines me being from Philadelphia, so...
If you're gonna do a Chicago accent and, you know it's kind of a oft-forgot way of talking, uh... you know
if you're, they hear, you know, movies and TV shows, you don't hear it that, that much. It's not quite as romanticized as some of the more popular ones.
But, you know, it's really important to learn, uh, you, the letter A is uh, you know, if you're gonna get on Algonquin Road, or, you know, "exactly"...
And so, that's it. I find the Chicago accent pretty easy to replicate, only because I have a decent amount of family and friends from there.
For example, my mother-in-law, she always has this Chicago accent, where she says "Chicago." She doesn't say "Chicago." She says "Chicago." And I think that's pretty funny.
See you later there! Peace!
You think I did a good job? No? Oh, go f*** yourselves. [Boston]

[ENG SUBS] Pyrotechnical tests #75 - Crackling balls (TC9) by Tropic & (JM05) by Jorge - Duration: 5:00.Welcome Guys on my FireAcademy channel
Today we`re going to compare crackling balls
These ones are disributed by Tropic
They have 9.6 g of NEC
It gives 1.5 g for one piece
Its code is TC9
And these crackling balls are distributed by Jorge
Its code is JM05
And product has 7.2 g of NEC
It`s about 1.2 g of NEC for one piece
It`s less than in Tropic`s crackling balls
This 0.3 g of NEC difference - In small products there`s a big difference
And there are some crackling shots more
We`ll see which ones are better
We`ve described products
Let`s test it!
We`re testing crackling balls
We have balls distributed by Tropic and distributed by Jorge
At first Jorge`s product
We`ll burn two balls
And then we`ll make sth like a carabine
First ball
2nd ball
They are shooting for a big distance
I`ll put them further
I`ll set better frame for a moment
Some hasn`t burned
But all has burned
It`s ok
It`s time to test Tropic`s balls
We have 6 pcs
We`ll see are they different
Maybe they are better
It`s nice how the 'shots' are flying
I`ve burned 4 pcs
Nice loud
We`ll see in a review
Crackling balls TC9 cost about 1.7 PLN
They were much better than JM05 which cost 1.3 PLN
The price of JM05 is less but the effect of TC9 was better in my opinion
After opening ball the crackling was flying from different sides
In JM05 when the ball opened ifself the crackling in one place
I liked TC9 because the crackling has banged gently
And the balls were flying from different sides
The effect was bigger and more beutiful
And when we burn more than one piece at the same time
It was looking very nice
The balls were coming to camera
In my opinion they should get better note
But I`ll substract one point for bigger price
So my note is 8/10 (note for TC9)
And my note for JM05 is 7/10
I hope you`ll write your opinion in a comment
Leave a like
And we`ll see in next movie in next 3 days
See ya!

Top 5 Facts about Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - Duration: 4:12.So what happens when you mix three of my favorite things?!
RPGs, Mario, and potty humor?
One of my favorite game series Mario & Luigi of all time.
I played every game in the franchise and for me that is saying something.
It all started with Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
So sit back an relax.
Hit that subscribe button b*tch as we go over five facts about this game that you may or
may not know.
I might be a fan of rpgs, but i could do without the mini-games.
During the first tutorial of Border Jump, if Mario jumps when the Border Bros. tell
Luigi to jump, they will tell Mario to "give the 'Jumpman' thing a rest".
Mario is always a jerk, but this is obvious a nod to Mario's original name in the arcade
classic Donkey Kong.
Another one of favorite characters in this series is Popple, he reminds me of one of
those old timey gangsters.
Anyway if Popple is defeated before Birdo in his final fight, Birdo says: "You may have
defeated my darling, but this is as far as you go!"
Such a strange thing to say, but this is apparently a reference to her quote in Super Mario Advance:
"This is as far as you go!"
Nope some confused ostrich aint giving me orders.
I consider myself an old pro when it comes to Nintendo.
I had a Super Nintendo back in the day, but believe me I was shocked when I learned this.
After receiving the Hammers from the Sledgehammer Brothers, one of them says "Pow!
Now you're playing with power!" which is one of Nintendo's slogans.
The more you know.
Now time for a bit of cut content.
A number of Nintendo characters from other games were originally going to appear in the
Starbeans Café.
Captain Olimar, Samus Aran, Fox, Wario, an Excitebike Racer, and Link would have shown
up and each given the player an item.
E. Gadd would only have shown up on the player's first visit to the coffee house.
That sounds so cool I wonder what made the Big N change their mind.
The best character ever!
My boi Fawful!
Since Fawful was not based on any existing characters in the Mario series, the Nintendo
Treehouse, which was responsible for localizing games for North American audiences, had more
creative freedom in writing for the character.
Big Bill Trinen and Nate Bihldorff?, wrote the English dialogue for Fawful through the
exchange of notes.
Rather than sticking close to the original bland Japanese script, where Fawful simply
adds "Fururururu!" to the end of every line, Trinen and Bihldorff intended to make Fawful
as "wacky" and "crazy" as possible in the Western release.
Thus, in English versions of the games, all of Fawful's dialogue consists of broken English
and word salads, like "Have you readiness for this?", and his catchphrase, "I have fury!"
We thank the heavens for Big Bill Trinen's work!
The mustard of your doom!
There you have it folks.
Superstar Saga was a lot deeper than I thought!
Here I was just guessing it was a stupid game about talking beans kidnapping Princess Peach
to steal her voice they could awaken the Beanstar.
Oh well!
Don't forget hit that like button lil' britches.

Denzel Washington - WHATEVER You Do, DON'T QUIT (So Inspiring!) - Duration: 6:10.Denzel Washington - "For forward this is what I mean
Reggie Jackson struck out 26 hundred times in his career the most in the
history of baseball but you don't hear about the strikeouts people remember the
homeruns fall forward thomas edison conducted 1,000 failed
experiments did you know that I didn't know that because the 1,000 and first
was the light bulb fall forward every failed experiment is one step closer to
success you've got to take risks and I'm sure you probably heard that before but
I want to talk to you about why that's important I got three reasons and then
you can pick up your iPhone's first you will fail at some point in your life
except it you will lose you will embarrass yourself you will suck at
something there's no doubt about it and I know that's probably not a
traditional message for a graduation ceremony but hey I'm telling you embrace
it because it's inevitable and I should know in the acting business you fail all
the time early on in my career I auditioned for a part in a Broadway
musical perfect role for me I thought except for the fact that I can't sing so
I'm in the wings I'm about to go onstage but the guy in front of me he's singing
like like like Pavarotti and I'm just shrinking I'm getting smaller and
smaller so they say oh thank you very much thank you very much and you will
you'll be hearing from us so I come out with my little sheet music and it was it
was just my imagination by the temptations that's what I came up with
so I hand it to the the the accompany us and she looks at it and looks at me and
excited the director and was like
so I start you know like I'm gonna sing I'm and they're not saying anything so
I'm thinking I'm getting better I start getting into it running this aw yeah
thank you thank you thank you thank you very much mr. Washington thank you so I
assumed I didn't get the job but the next part of the audition he called me
back the next part of the audition is the acting part of the audition so I'm
like hey okay maybe I can't sing but I know I can act so they pair me with this
guy and again I didn't know about musical theater and musical theater is
big so they could reach everyone all the way in the back of the stadium and I'm
more from a realistic naturalistic kind of acting where you you know you
actually talk to the person next to you so I don't know what my line was my line
was will hand me the cut and his line was well I will hand you the cup my dear
the cup would be there to be handed to you I said okay
well should I give you the cut back oh yes you should give it back to me
because you know that is my cup and it should be given back to me I didn't get
the job but here's the thing I didn't quit I didn't fall back I walked out of
there to prepare for the next audition and the next audition and the next
audition I prayed I prayed and I prayed
but I continue to fail and fail and fail but it didn't matter because you know
what there's an old saying you hang around the barbershop long enough sooner
or later you're gonna get a haircut so you will catch a break and I did catch a
break last year I did a play called fences on Broadway someone talked about
it won the Tony Award and I didn't have to sing by the way but here's the kicker
it was at the Court Theatre it was at the same theatre that I failed that
first audition 30 years prior the point is and I'll pick up the pace the point
is every graduate here today has the training and the talent to succeed but
do you have the guts to fail here's my second point about failure if you don't
fail you're not even trying I'll say it again if you don't fail
you're not even trying my wife told me this great expression to get something
you never had you have to do something you never did Les Brown's a motivational
speaker you made an analogy about this he says imagine you're on your deathbed
and standing around your deathbed are the ghosts representing your unfulfilled
potential the ghosts of the ideas you never acted on the ghosts of the talents
you didn't use and they're standing around your bed angry disappointed and
upset they say we came to you because you could have brought us to life they
say and now we have to go to the grave together so I ask you today how many
ghosts are going to be around your bed when your time comes

Jim Rohn - Don't Wait, Do It Now (Jim Rohn Motivation) - Duration: 16:07.you
JIM ROHN► but here's what else I hope you'll find here today and that is inspiration and
who knows the mystery of inspiration why some people are inspired and some are
not you were inspired to get here some were not who knows the mystery of that I
don't know how come you made it the rest of them didn't make it we don't know
what that mystery is some people turned it down
some people said cost too much some people say it's gonna take too much time
some people are too busy right a lot of different excuses why some are inspired
to take advantage of something that comes to town others pass it up
we don't know the mystery to that here's what I call it mysteries of the mind and
I just leave it at that some things I don't try to figure out I take the
simple approach now right some people do and some people don't I mean that's
about as profound as my philosophy is some buy in
some don't buy some go forward and some don't some change and some don't and if
you've been around for a while you can usually work out the numbers right out
of 10 you know three do seven don't whatever business you're involved in
pretty soon you got this ratio going the ones that do the ones that don't you say
well why don't the ones that don't how come they don't we don't know I just
leave it as a mystery I used to try to understand all that I just take the
simple approach now the guy says this happens to me just happens to me this
goes wrong for me and all the stuff goes wrong for me how come all the stuff
happens to me I say I don't know beats me
the best I've been able to figure out is those kind of things always happen to
people like you and that's the best I got
I don't know I'm an amateur on this stuff what do I know so just take the
simple approach right that's how it is who knows interesting story
says the day the Christian Church was started now I'm an amateur on the Bible
but best account I can remember the day the Christian Church was started a
magnificent sermon was preached great presentation and if you're a student of
all at all of good communication it was one of the classic presentations of all
times the sermon the first day Christian Church was started and it said this
sermon this presentation was given to a multitude meaning a lot of people but it
was interesting as the account gives us the record it says when the sermon was
finished there was a variety of reaction to the same service isn't that
fascinating I find it fascinating it said some that heard this presentation
were perplexed and I read the presentation sounded pretty
straightforward to me said why would somebody be perplexed with a good
sincere straightforward presentation best answer I've got they are the
perplexed I mean you know what other explanation is that it doesn't matter
who's preaching it said some that heard this presentation mocked and laughed
made fun of the presentation I thought hey this looks pretty sincere to me if
you give a sincere honest presentation why would somebody mock and laugh easy
explanation they are the mockers and the lappers what else would you expect them
to do right I used to try to straighten all that out say well they shouldn't do
that I don't do that anymore I've got peace of mind now I'd sleep like a baby
not try to straighten all the stuff out I used to be so naive I used to say a
liar shouldn't lie say how naive can you be of course they're supposed to lie
that's why we call them Liars they live I don't straighten this stuff out
anymore anyway it said some that heard this magnificent presentation didn't
know what was going on and they're usually easy to spot they're usually
saying what's going on right I mean they don't know what's going on but
interesting right a variety of reaction to the same sincere honest presentation
now it also says and wrapping it up some that heard the presentation believed and
I think that's who the speaker was looking for the believers interest now
it said the number of believers was about three thousand so a pretty good
first day three thousand I've had some first days I never had three thousand
over caution some people never will have much they're too cautious now you can
also be too reckless but you can also be too cautious this is called the timid
approach to life
and my caution was always the risk risk used to drive me right up the wall
I used to say what if this happens it's called the language of the poor what if
this happens and on top of that if this was to happen look at the fix ibn I
better not try I could always ace my self out then I'll
tell you what changed my whole life when I finally discovered it's all risky the
minute you were born it got risky if you think trying is risky wait till they
hand you the bill for not trying if you think investing is risky wait till you
get the tab for not investing see it's all risky
getting married is risky having children is risky going into business is risky
investing your money is risky it's all risky I'll tell you how risky life is
you're not gonna get out alive that's risky the Englishman says well if that's
the way it's gonna work out let's give it a go right that's what it's for give
it a go somebody says yeah but I'm looking for safety and security
fine then huddle in a corner we'll cover you with the sheet bring you three meals
a day and we'll protect you feed you look after you care for you we
won't let anything happen to you and you'll probably live to be 100 the guy
said well yeah I'd live to be 100 but what a way to live right what a way to
live safe and secure don't ask for security asked for that venture better
to live thirty years full of adventure than a hundred years safe in the corner
and see it's not important how long you live what's important is how you live
here's the next attitude disease we're almost through with this motley list in
fact we're almost through hang on the next one is pessimism pessimism the
deadly disease of always looking on the bad side the problem side the difficult
side checking all the reasons why it can't be done the poor pessimist leads
an ugly life he doesn't try to figure out what's right he tries to figure out
what's wrong he doesn't look for virtue he looks for faults and when he finds
him he's delighted how this is the poor guy looks through the window doesn't see
the sunset he sees the specks on the wind and this is the poor guy right who
rushes up takes such leave of his senses this guy rushes up and he says I've got
five good reasons why it won't work he's so dumb he doesn't know all you needs
one he's got five - the pessimist the glass is always half-empty - the
optimist the glass is half-full why would the same measure affect people two
different ways answer it all depends on how you look at it our lives are mostly
affected by the way we think things are not the way they are the way we think
they are affects us most there's a subject we don't have time to get into
tonight called better thinking habits one of the major things shoved taught me
when I met him he said poor thinking habits keeps most people who
and not poor working habits most people work hard but they don't think hard and
she'll taught me that the mind is like a factory a mental factory and whatever
you think about all day long pours ingredients into this mental
Factory and that's what builds the economic social financial fabric of your
life he quoted me a bible phrase that says as you think so you become how
awesome when he talked about poor thinking happens he had me I used to
start the day reading the morning newspaper I mean you can believe that or
not I'd get a cup of coffee and read the paper I'd load up on Wars and riots and
murders and stabbings and killings and bank robberies and muggings and car
wrecks and tragedies I'd even read the back pages I seem to like that stuff for
some weird reason I'd load up on all that and then I start the day you can
imagine the kind of days I used to have you walk around on your financial knees
they call you economic peewee
the guy says I want to be a great leader wonderful the first thing we do is
following to his house when we get there we walk in and check his library number
one somebody says well why check his library the reason is because what a man
reads pours massive ingredients into his mental factory and the fabric of his
life is built from those ingredients you would not believe what some people have
got in their house to read you would not believe one of the best-dressed of words
I know for a lot of it is trash can you imagine dumping a bale of trash into
this mental factory every day and coming out with a rich dynamic positive life it
can't be done you might as well try making a cake with cement the kids back
in Danbury Connecticut high school they're asking me questions one day I'm
talking to the kids kids got good questions these days one of them said to
me mr. Owen how do you build the good life I said it's simple it's not easy
but it's simple here's how you build anything select the right ingredients
keep out the wrong ingredients and it starts with thought everything starts
with thought so you must be wise and careful what you think about because
that starts everything
you gotta be wise and careful I asked the kids what would happen if somebody
dropped sugar in my coffee they said will you'd be okay I said what if
somebody dropped strychnine in my coffee they said well you'd be dead
I said correct lesson 1 life is both sugar and strychnine you gotta be
careful I said what if my worst enemy drops in the sugar they said will you be
okay I said what if my best friend even my accident drops in the strychnine they
said well you'd be dead I said correct lesson 2 watch your car you got to be
careful see it doesn't matter who hands you the bad stuff it doesn't matter who
you get the bad stuff it'll still do its damage on your bank account wherever you
get it mr. shelf gave me one of the greatest
phrases when I first met him when he said gym every day stand guard at the
door of your mind
how important stand guard at the door of your mind and you decide what goes into
your mental factory don't let anybody just dump anything they want to in your
mental factory because you've got to live with the results ok here's the last
disease and we're through with this list in fact we're almost through hang on
the last subject is very brief the last disease but this one is deadly engage in
this one indulge in it even slightly and you might as well forget the future
because it's gonna forget you complaining
crying crying griping a Bible word called murmuring see that will ace your
future spend five minutes complaining and you have wasted five and you may
have begun what's known as economic cancer of the bone surely they will soon
haul you off into a financial desert and there let you choke on the dust of your
own regret I hope I said that well so you won't forget it's a deadly disease
if you don't think it's bad ask the children of Israel of Old Testament fame
typical of us all their story just happened to get in the book story says
children of Israel were slaves God performed a series of dazzling miracles
and got him out and now they're heading for the promised land remember the story
heading for the Promised Land tragedy of the story they never got their reason
day one they started to complain they griped about the water they griped about
the weather they whined and cried and griped about
the food they griped about the leadership they've whined and cried
because it was too far too cold too hot too difficult too miserable I mean they
widened wined and cried for years finally God said I've had it trip
canceled
or something like that the story says they died in the desert never got to the
promised T which I think means two things
indulging this long enough you get your future cancers and I guess it also means
even God Himself can only take so much
okay just be on the lookout of the things that can destroy all the good you
start the war is on and this evening tomorrow
mentally personally socially economically you got to make sure you're
winning the war and this is part of it

No, you don't need a marketing plan right now... - Duration: 4:49.How many times in your business have you heard that you need to have a business
plan or that you need to have a marketing plan or how often do you wake
up thinking oh my gosh I should have some sort of marketing strategy or plan
in place so that I'm doing the right thing?
guilty guilty guilty totally guilty of doing this. Right? It's one of those
things where in MBA school they taught us this all the time
get a marketing plan come up with a strategy have a business plan the SBAC
talks about it. Every other entrepreneurial group that I've talked
to or heard from has always said you need a business plan. And what I found
even recently when I went to a talk about how to set up your business plan
was that I totally don't believe in business plans in that way for this
level of entrepreneurship. I recently had a client reach out to me and say, "Hey you know, I really have been working on my business plan I've been working on
it for months. I'm just not getting very far. I'm really trying to do the
competitive analysis and I'm trying to figure out you know the budget and I'm
getting stuck on the research and dadada...
Time out, time out, time out. Why are you even doing a business plan
are you doing it because you're trying to raise funding for future expansion or
what is it? Well I just think that I need one like everyone needs a
business plan don't they? To which I responded, no no! The guy's been in
business for a dozen years. He has a successful business. He's doing things
really well. He's just questioning other areas of his business and where he wants
to go and how he wants to expand and that's great and that's why he's hired
me to help him get through this process and stop chasing his tail around a
business plan that is just gonna collect dust and sit on a shelf somewhere not
really being used. So instead of focusing on the fact that you need a business
plan or a marketing strategy, I want you to take a step back and take a deep
breath and figure out what is it that you really need in your business? I'm
looking over here... the question for the week that I have for you is: What is the
one thing you're doing that's going to attract clients to your business?
When it comes down to it, if you're looking for a business plan
you're probably looking for busy work to get you feeling like you're doing
something in your business in order to make progress when the reality is the
business plan isn't what you need as much as (unless you're going for funding
and then we can talk that's a totally different strategy) but
if you're just creating busy work so that you can check off some boxes and
following the rules of entrepreneurship then I'm gonna just say
no no no. Timeout. Focus on getting clients and that's why the question of
the week is about what's the one thing that you can be doing to start
attracting more clients into your business when it comes to having a
marketing strategy this isn't about "Hey let's do a big..." I don't want you to
create some sort of thing where it's like you need to email people six times
a week and tweet 20 times a day and blah blah. No. Time out. Go to the basics.
What works? Does networking work for you? Are you getting referrals? Does building
different partnerships work? Maybe you're not having anything
work and if that's the case or if you feel like you're struggling at any level
of this process reach out to me because I can help you with this. It's not really
rocket science but we've complicated it to the nth degree in a way that it's
just not supporting us. So when I'm talking about simplify your marketing
right, that's the whole name of my business. I want you to take and do less
work to get more results this isn't about more stuff that you need to be
doing. It's not about having 8 different Facebook accounts or social media
accounts or redoing your website or rebranding. It's about getting to the
basic structure of your business and what's going to get clients. If you feel
like you're not getting clients right now, then shift into an area of getting
clients and we can shift your energy so that that happens. So if you have
questions about whether you need a marketing strategy or business plan or
need to get all this stuff together right now, please reach out to me and
let's talk. Send me an email message me whatever you need to do I'm Amanda @
simplify your marketing comm and we can talk more about whether you really need
a business plan or a marketing strategy or not. It
depends on where you are in your business and it's different for everyone.
Please please please don't take that canned list of to do's that you're
given in any sort of business school and think that that applies to you because
it might not and let's save you some time effort and money and make business
a whole lot more fun okay? We'll talk to you soon. Have a great week .

[Boston]

Tony Robbins: STAY DISCIPLINED (Destroy bad habits) - Duration: 41:05.[Applause]
[Music]
the step one is obsessed get totally
focused unleash your desire that gives
the energy step two is not waiting it's
massive action keep changing your
approach until you find effective
execution if you're running east looking
for a sunset I don't care how positive
you are you're not going to see the
sunset it's the wrong strategy it's just
not gonna happen so you gotta have a
proven strategy and you can get there
faster same way I've done it with these
books is saying I could go this or I
could spend four years interview 50 of
the smartest people in the world all
billionaires are started with nothing I
find out what they did and take compress
decades in the days that's really the
purpose of everything that I do so when
you have that plan and keep changing
your approach I always tell people you
know how long would you give the average
kid to learn how to walk before you turn
the kid and said dude it's never gonna
happen you're not a walker just give it
up people are you crazy make it's gonna
keep trying until well that's really
step two you keep changing your approach
until you find and then the third step
to achieve but really is as simple as it
may sound if you're obsessed you know
what you want you taking massive action
maybe you modeled somebody figure out
the right action so you get there
quicker than you're executing you still
need a little grace some people call it
luck you could call God but I really
believe that there's the part we do and
then there's the part that comes to us
but I do know grace shows up a lot more
when you do the first two steps on your
own and grace shows up a lot more when
you acknowledge grace in your life when
your knowledge that I was born in a
world where I didn't have to build this
Internet that I can pull out of my
pocket the answer anything on earth I am
driving on streets
I didn't pave I'm reading books I didn't
have to write that's the gift of our
lives and I think when we experience
that grace we don't just experienced
more achievement but we
it's workable if you fight your passion
you're gonna have this tremendous energy
of sustainable energy but momentum
requires you always do the next thing
that keep the momentum going
and the reason you get yourself in a
passionate place is so that you changed
your life and the only thing that
changes your life is making a decision
so while you're in this passionate state
that's where you make decisions
you don't think decisions but you're
like all right let's decide if you make
a decision in a state without momentum
and you make a decision from place where
there's no passion you are not going to
get momentum it'll kill momentum
it's decide commit and resolve some of
you in the past you've gotten momentum
you've gotten passionate you've even
made a decision but a decision is the
first step
decision is like a war I got to do this
or that all right I'm gonna make myself
through this but commitment is when you
nail after you've decided you commit to
do this for the long term whether it's
hard or easy doesn't matter you're doing
this it takes it from this moment and it
carries you to the future even when
things are difficult and the third state
is resolved resolved
means it's done it's like it doesn't
even if you took action it's done inside
you so it's done out there there's no
question whatsoever then once you decide
the only way that commitment and the
energy and the momentum continues is if
you take immediate massive what my
friends massive life write down in your
notes massive action is the cure-all
massive action is the cure-all if you're
having a difficult time with something
your relationship isn't where you want
it to be your finances are not where you
want to be your body's not where you
want to be your business not
wannabe you need take massive action and
if that doesn't work try something else
so that's his work try something else
keep going with massive action and you
will find the way because it will give
you momentum the ultimate question I'm
always asking is how do I help people to
break through the question is what are
you breaking through to in essence all
of us at some level to feel alive have
to always feel like we're growing when
people ask me what does it take to be
happy I always tell them one word
progress progress equals happiness even
if you're not where you want to be yet
if you're on the road if you're
improving if you're making progress
you're gonna love it you're gonna feel
alive on the other hand it doesn't
matter how successful you are if you
stop growing
you start dying inside now how does this
relate to this session I'm breakthrough
I'll say it's really simple if you and I
want to know what it takes to be happy
we have to understand what is our
current blueprint of how our life's
supposed to be a little we mean by
blueprint well we have a story in our
head about life's supposed to be some
people's story is you work hard in
school you become really great you're a
nice person you're a good person and
then you grow up and you take care of
yourself and you find the ideal man and
you fall in love you have a white picket
fence and you have three perfect
children and you live happily ever after
somebody else's story the old story was
you work really hard in school you excel
in college you're going to work for a
big corporation and you move up through
the ranks until you're the President or
chairman of the company and you become
successful respected throughout life
these are some old stories obviously the
stories that we hear today and what
people's lives are supposed to
with the diverse no longer have these
little arc types but when our type still
seems to remain that archetype is in
order for you to really feel like you're
enough many people believe they have to
achieve an enormous amount they may do
it in different ways then they may do it
by building a company and taking a
public when they're 27 or 25 years old
or you know they finally create a new
technology or they become a very special
doctor but we live in a culture in the
West that teaches people that you're not
enough unless you do something really
special and uniquely define special and
unique and interesting ways the school
teacher is not special to me
a mother who stays home with her
children day and night
sculpting their minds their bodies their
souls and her future is not special we
live in a world today where we treat
teachers like they're nobody and pay
them accordingly we wonder why our
children's need to have challenges of
learning and growing or being engaged in
school we spend thousands of dollars on
some item like a computer but what we
look at overall we invest in for the
teacher and for that person is the
personal connection with them is so
small we live in a society where many
women look down and say well you're just
a housewife you're just a mother see
some of the pain we have in our society
is not because there's one right or one
wrong approach but because we try to
make everybody fit into some particular
approach to life here's what's gonna
make you happy or make you unhappy in
life it's real simple let's do a quick
test if you're in a situation right now
where you look at your life I know
there's an area of your life that you
probably feel pretty darn good about
even if you're not happy with your
finances I bet you feel damn good close
to your kids or if you're not close to
your kids maybe you don't have any kids
maybe you feel really good about your
career if you're doing not so good in
your career maybe you got a really great
body that you've trimmed down or
strengthened up or you know you really
shaped yourself the way you want
muscularly or and the way you look or if
that's not happening maybe you feel a
really special connection with God or
really close to your mother or father
your family whatever almost everybody
has an area of their life they feel
really good about if they're honest if
they're fair to themselves
what's any of your life you really feel
happy about how I want you think about
it for a moment truthfully what's an
area in your life today that if you
wanted to be happy about it you really
could feel proud about it you could feel
like scenario you're doing darn well in
and if you're really hard on yourself
there's still an area what's an area I
want to think of it right now
and once you think of that area whether
it's your body or your finances or your
career or your intimate relationship or
your relationship with your kids your
relationship with your Creator whatever
it is I want you to think about why are
you happy with that area of your life
right now today why are you happy with
that area of your life right now today I
really think about it if you're in a
seminar with me I'd have you write this
down
if you can you could put me on hold here
for a second because I'd like to reveal
to you the formula is for happiness and
if I say there's a formula for happiness
and here's what it is you're gonna go
yeah yeah sure that's what he says but
if you put down the answer and we can
see the formulas real without me telling
you what it is you get to look at your
own life and say it matches you're gonna
know this is right so you could stop
this right now if you want put me on
hold and just write down what's an area
of your life you're really really happy
about you're really pleased with or you
could be if you wanted to focus on it
and why are you happy with that part of
your life right now even if you're not
happy with everything what's the ER
you're happy with and why put me out all
right now or you're not gonna do that
just think for a moment why specifically
be real why now when I asked this if
you've turned me back on now if I ask
this of an audience I'll have people
write this down for a few minutes and
I'll call on people I'll say share with
the person next to you first what are
you happy about and why are you happy in
that area and be specific
after they share how people stand up
I'll call in a variety people and I say
ma'am tell me what are you happy about
she'll say well honestly I'm really
happy with my body
she does I never thought I'd say that
but I used to be so unhappy with it and
you know I finally I did some things I
push myself through and now I exercise
regularly and ain't no I'm not perfect
but I feel fit I feel strong I feel
energetic and that's really I don't know
it just feels good to me now I say to
everybody I'm now gonna show you what
the form in the front of eNOS is and
it's real simple I want to reveal it to
you so you don't ever forget it whenever
you're happy with the air of your life
it's because right now your current life
experience I call it your LC your life
conditions the conditions of your life
your life conditions in that area match
or are equal to your blueprint your
story your belief about how life should
be in that area so this woman says to me
I'm really happy in my body because it's
not perfect her blueprint is I don't
need to be perfect but it's so much
better than it was I'm fit and then
strong and I have this energy her mental
blueprint says I should be fit strong
and have energy I don't need to be
perfect but I should be that way
in my life my body matches how I think
it should be I feel good about my life
well that's somebody else I'll say you
know tell me there you're happy with
someone else to say well I'm really
happy with my career and why well I'm
doing better than I even thought I would
be I mean I I'm ahead of the schedule of
where I hoped I'd be at this stage I'm
working at this level in this company
and I have these skills and this ability
and it's even better than I thought
well once again listen this person's
happy with this area of their life
because their current life conditions in
the area called their career are even
better than they expect that they would
be better than their blueprint better
than their belief about how it should be
if it's really better you tend to be
over the moon but one moment would say
you know I can't tell you I said I'm the
happiest ever been in my whole life how
come she goes because I have this man in
my life that I'm in love with him and he
loves me and I can be myself with him
and he we have this incredible intimacy
and this passion and we want to be with
each other all the time and I never get
bored with him what's her blueprint you
want to be the somebody that you could
have total intimacy with somebody
loves you was a part of her rules her
beliefs of how it should be she said you
know it's needs me I never want to be
with anybody else I'm gonna be with him
every moment her blueprint about how
life should be and the way she lives her
relationships even better than she hoped
when it's better than you hope you're
gonna be totally excited so think about
this then what's an area you're not
happy with let's see if we can find the
formula for unhappiness but the formula
for happiness is to be able to meet your
expectations or exceed them that we
really make sure excited but to be happy
at least Mita does not be perfect but if
you general your meaning what you expect
you want from your life in that area
feel good right conditions match
blueprint feel good so what makes you
feel bad or creates pain stress
frustration feel easy way to figure it
out answer this question what's an area
your life you're not happy with let me
be honest with yourself and even if your
life is great all kinds of ways I'm sure
there's an area you'd like to improve
anybody who's honest if they're doing
great in their career very often don't
take care of their body so much if
they're really focused on their body you
know very often they find themselves in
the position where they're not spending
enough time with their kids or they're
spending time with their kids their
intimate relationships not doing so well
because it's the nature of human beings
to focus on areas they feel comfortable
with and strong in and give those time
and the areas they don't feel so strong
and they go I don't have time for it
what you're really saying is I don't
feel very competent that area so what's
an area of your life that you are not as
happy with
I mean it's healthy honestly to look at
areas and say I don't like it I want
more this whole concept of a
breakthrough is about how do I close the
gap between where I am right now and
what I want to be that's what we're here
to do is like here's what I want to be
here's where I am it's healthy to see
there's a gap that makes me have this
hunger this drive to grow to feel alive
to expand as a human being so what's an
area you're not pleased with is it your
body is it your finances is it your
career is it your spiritual life or lack
thereof in terms of feeling connected in
that area is it your kids what's the
area what's the area that's not where
you want it to be and then answer for a
moment why aren't you happy with that
of your life right now why specifically
today are you not happy with that area
of your life at this stage of your time
of your life again you can stop this and
write it down might be useful for you or
if you're gonna keep it running can you
stop it and you'll turn it right back on
I'll kick into it do that now or if you
kept it running then just I'll give you
what happens I have people write this
down and they don't like this exercise
so much oh I don't like my body or I
don't like my finances I don't like my
career I don't like the person I'm in a
relationship with I don't like myself
the way I'm in relationships why they
write it all down how people share back
and forth I call on people and the
lessons pretty clear I tell people in
advance here's the formula for
unhappiness
I'll show you before you do anything
else when your life conditions when your
life conditions the way you're living
your life today does not match it
doesn't equal your blueprint your story
of how it's supposed to be then you're
gonna have disappointment frustration or
pain if your life is way different than
the way you think it's supposed to be
you can have enormous pain if it's a
little different you might feel stressed
make sense so people stand up and I said
tell me you know what C are you're not
happy when the person says well you know
I'm really not happy with my finances
and I go why and they say because I'm
doing worse now than I was five years
ago I made mistakes in the market and at
this stage of my life I should have this
much money and I don't have it and I
don't know how to change it and it's
making me crazy and why are they crazy
you say well because they don't have
their economic needs met no you cannot
have your economic needs met and you
could still be okay but when you have an
idea this is what my need is and I did
the wrong thing my life doesn't match
how I'm supposed to be that's when
people get a little crazy so you think
about it
if you grew up taking care of folding
your own clothes making your own meals
going to the store doing the grocery
shopping cleaning the bedroom cleaning
the house vacuuming taking out the trash
and you did that your whole life then if
you have to do that later on you don't
feel like you have economic pain because
you don't have a maid but if you grew up
an environment where everything was done
for you you never have to work and now
suddenly you
to work incredibly hard to just pay
enough money to pay your bills and all
of a sudden food is building up and the
house is dirty and your clothes aren't
folded and nothing matches you might
find yourself really angry and
frustrated because you have a different
story about how life's supposed to be
than how it is
someone also say well I'll tell you why
because I'm in a situation now where you
know I'm 30 pounds everything I should
be should be the key word there are
people there are people in all cultures
who love being big there are people that
will walk around and someone else might
think they're massively overweight but
they're gone I own this honey and they
really truly they match their blueprint
big is beautiful because their ideas big
is beautiful I'm big
that's beautiful matches my blueprint
rock and roll I'm happy as can be
somebody else can look like a twig and
be stressed out saying I hate my body
because their blueprint says I should be
the skinniest thing on earth and I'm not
skinny enough am I making sense when
your life conditions don't match your
blueprint you're gonna have pain but
here's when you suffered when I ask
people who here has been through the
dark night of the soul who's been here
in a situation where you feel like like
like life life isn't worth living or we
feel like a pain that just will never go
away and I'll people write down those
experiences like Joaquin so you begin to
understand what the issue is I'm talking
about here what keen if you recall was
in a situation where this man felt like
there was no reason to live he couldn't
work he couldn't do anything his life
was worthless why did he think that
because he had a blueprint and his
blueprint said I need be an NBA
basketball player at least a
professional basketball player I need to
be able to make money and have this
great lifestyle because that's what
makes me worthwhile as a human being
that's what makes my family respect man
my mother my uncle's my aunts I am the
successful one in the family and I make
the money I support everybody there's a
good man he didn't come just to be
successful he took care of his mother
his families he tried to be an
inspiration for people while key knock
ins is a man it was always going out on
his free time and training kids and
showing them the pathway to freedom how
they could play basketball and get free
like he did and get out of the inner
city so this man is not a selfish man
but he knew this is the way to be
worthwhile this is the way to be able to
give to people this is the way to take
care of your family and all of a sudden
one night what happened that way was
taken from him he has a stroke and
another night his life conditions make
it impossible to be who he has to be or
he feels like he's working to get it we
have an identity we have a story of how
we're supposed to be and if life somehow
gets in the way of that story we feel
pain but if we feel we have no control
that's when we go into suffering see
it's one thing to say my life doesn't
match my blueprint I got to lose weight
that might stress you out or my life
doesn't match my blueprint I'm not in a
relationship I got to get in one that
might motivate you even you might not
like it but you're gonna find a way
together with or my career doesn't
matter I should be you could change it
but when you start believing that your
life doesn't match your blueprint and
you have no control to change it you're
helpless that's when people suffer and
so this week for your breakthrough it's
a chance for you to start to take a look
at your blueprint anywhere you're really
having pain hey look if you're doing
great in some area of your life
celebrate of course and I'm sure there
are many areas you are but life is
really a seriously growth spurts I mean
two things in life that make you feel
alive growing and giving and what's
really wonderful about this man Joaquin
is he was constantly growing trying to
get better trying to be a better team
made a better basketball player think
about it when he didn't make the team's
I didn't make the NBA he didn't give up
he worked even harder the guy was always
striving striving to be
something and he became it and he
achieved it and then life took it from
him
isn't that the common denominator with
so many of the people and the stories of
this six-part series that you saw these
six specials I mean Frank and Kristen
had a blueprint of what life was
supposed to be about we're supposed to
get married to have children and we're
gonna top our own business and all of a
sudden life doesn't match the blueprint
and suddenly there's depression because
in their case they said there's nothing
we could do but they were wrong they
were wrong because they discovered that
Frank was covered I can make a
difference in my life the chair even
though I didn't create this NIM asked
for this chair does not define me I can
become more than I was before I can have
the impact with my life I can have
children we had to change his blueprint
because we couldn't change all the
conditions of his life does that make
sense I couldn't get him to physically
walk again maybe some day he will but we
can't count on that well we gotta count
on is that he can be fulfilled by seeing
he isn't helpless and I did that to a
series of experiences that violated what
he thought he couldn't do the same thing
was true with almost every one of the
people we worked with in some well and
in Joaquin's example it was also true
our Keane said why I can't ever have
this quality of life again because I'm
not a professional basketball player
and he was locked into that mindset and
all of us get locked in time
but to his credit to assist them of
steps we were able to break him out of
that we were get him to see that he
isn't helpless this here's your choice
watch this now if you're suffering if
you're in pain your life doesn't match
how you think it should be and you think
you're helpless to change it now you
have only three choices choice one blame
something
fucking there people
he blamed his coach he blames what
happened to him and of course these
things were outside his control but he
blamed his coach a big part of the
healing if you watch the session was
when his coaching and getting into see
and he you know when all that anger all
that resentment inside of you are key a
it's not based on the truth and B that
Nelson Mandela said you know having
resentment your soul is like drinking
poison and hoping that your enemy will
died then work that way
and when Joaquin was able to break out
his breakthrough as a change in
perception to realize this coach wasn't
stopping me I just felt like I lost
everything and so I don't know how to
change it so I'm looking for something
to be mad about someone to blame so so I
don't have to blame myself or I don't
have to feel so helpless
cuz when you're angry you don't feel so
helpless you feel strong for the moment
even though it's a fake strength when he
was able to make that breakthrough he
could stop blaming cuz these are three
choices when life doesn't match how you
think it should be blame something an
event someone else or yourself as we
talked about earlier in the series blame
games just destroy you there's no
progress than you plan for the moment
you feel okay but nothing changes what
are your real choices you only have two
choices in life if life doesn't match
your blueprint you either have to change
your life that is you gotta say you know
what my body isn't there I'm gonna go
work out my relationship is in there I'm
gonna change it you know I'm not making
what I gotta make I'm gonna retool I'm
gonna get a new skill I'm gonna go back
to school I'm gonna start a business I'm
gonna do something you have to do
something to change your life or in
order for you to be happy if you can't
change your life you're gonna have to
change your blueprint usually in life it
requires a little bit of each does that
make sense
and if you've changed your take change
your life and change your blueprint you
can have an extraordinary life and what
you witnessed this man do was once he
let go of his anger and his denial once
he started to look at things he began to
find by spending time with his family
that he was worthwhile being loved while
he played basketball or not of course
he'd love to play basketball but
professional basketball is no longer a
part of it and we had to get Joaquin to
shift that and Joaquin is a metaphor for
all of us because all of us are gonna
have times in our life when
what we want or think life should be
like isn't gonna match how life really
is those moments if we blame our life
goes into pain if we change we can
change our life and match our blueprint
but we have to also know when it's not
within our control and that's how we're
able to make a shift and change what our
story is for our life what our
expectations are not by lowering them
but by changing what that model really
is helping us make sense to you I'll
give you a great example
years ago I do a lot of work with
business people celebrities people have
all kinds of walks of life and I was
dealing with a group of people and they
knew a very very powerful celebrity and
without to give that person privacy I
won't tell you too many details we can't
figure out exactly who it is but it
would be a person who was very
successful as a woman who was extremely
attractive by cultural standards a woman
who's had a lot of dear friends a lot of
deep respect so great skill great
ability extremely talented quite
attractive quite wealthy in financial
terms and lots of great friends this
would be for most people's idea the
ultimate blueprint if your life matches
that description you must have an
incredible life but ironically this
particular individuals famous as they
were was depressed all the time they had
seemingly everything and yet the person
was depressed how do you get depressed
when you're smart and you're strong and
you're beautiful and you got great
friends and you're rich and you're
famous
well it's real simple people said it I
don't know what it is everyone's tried
to help her she's been on the through
counselling she's got all these
different drugs nothing's working
she's taking antidepressants and she's
still depressed which is not uncommon by
the way because if you change the way
you feel physically but you still see
your life doesn't match how you think it
should be at some level and you feel
like you're helpless to change it you're
gonna be depressed so I said bring her
to me I said I can help her I know that
sounds like hyperbole but I absolutely
can help her well how do you know that
Tony because I already know what the
problem is
I know if someone's depressed it's
because they feel helpless because their
life doesn't match how they think it
should be I just didn't know what her
blueprint is but we'll find out what it
is and we'll either help her change your
life or well pretend your blueprint or
both
long story short and very quickly I'll
tell you the core of it which came to me
and she spent maybe the first half an
hour telling me apologizing saying I
know I should be happier I know it's
silly for me to be depressed I don't
know why I'm so depressed I I know I
should be grateful for what I have and I
am grateful and it was all these reasons
why she knows she should feel good but
still didn't I try to finally explain to
her listen I don't care about that I
care about you the fact that you're not
happy has nothing to do with what you
have or don't have the fact that you're
not happy is that your life doesn't
match the way you think it should be and
you have some idea of how you think it
should be and worse if you're this
depressed after all this time you feel
like you can't do anything you have no
power to change it you feel helpless and
she looked at me in a certain way and I
said so what is that what did you want
your life to be like she goes well it
sounds stupid I said myself stupid to me
she said well I don't know I just always
since I was a little girl dreamed that I
would be married and I'll have three
basically perfect children and they
would love me totally and my above my
husband he loved me and I said okay so
how's that working for you so far and
she said well I think you know who's
pretty famous person she said I'm
divorced twice I have no children and
now EX age and to give you a clue that
age would be an age where having a child
your own natural child at least barring
a medical miracle is not going to happen
so I said to her well why don't you just
adopt there's no no no no no that's not
it
and so what I had to dig under is
whenever we talked and one of the
earlier sessions about there's the
surface problem and then there's the
deeper desire or need so I said to her I
said well what if you couldn't have the
husband but you could have the kids and
she smiled and she said I'd take that I
said well why not adopt it kid she goes
now it has to be my own blood children
I kept digging to find out what was
behind her blueprint because your
blueprint is just a projection of what
you think you need to be happy but as
human beings were notoriously
ineffective at knowing that's gonna make
us out so much that we think we're gonna
make us happily get there we go is this
all there is so many things that we
think are gonna make us miserable we can
never deal with we go through it we can
handle it
we're not good at projecting these
things but graduate studies of shows so
I said to her well what what are you
helping me get from these three children
why do they have to be your blood
children and she finally said well if
they're my blood children I know they'll
always love me they'll never leave me
what was she looking for unconditional
love she had this big blueprint that
said white house picket fence three
children perfect husband you know all
these different things but what was
behind that was a need and need to feel
like she get out love that would be
certain and wouldn't go away so I can
help her meet that need as I said to her
I said well maybe one reason you don't
have a husband is because every time you
look at one you're trying to figure out
if he's gonna get you those three kids
in time and how that's gonna happen and
maybe feels a little stressful is when
you're looking at in this way because he
can feel what's going on behind your bed
even if he doesn't know what the words
are and she started to laugh because I
guess I've probably been that way a good
portion of my life and she goes people
wonder you know why I'm so uptight
I said you're uptight because you were
felt like you're running out of time
trying to meet some picture but I said
all you really want is love
I said no channel I love a new life tell
me about your friends and gradually I
got her to start seeing this love that
she was trying to get was already here
it didn't match the picture maybe maybe
we could paint a new picture of what
life could really be like and make sure
that picture met her deepest needs
that's basically we did Joaquin Joaquin
wanted to be a professional basketball
player cause he loved basketball yes but
also because he wanted to be that man
who was a leader he wanted to be a man
who was the good man he want to be the
one who brought energy to people he want
to be the man people would look up to he
want to be the man who could take care
of his family and style all of us Amelie
not just his daughters and his wife but
other people as well underneath it all
he wanted to know that he mattered and
through the process that you saw in the
show he began to find out that he didn't
need to be angry at the world that yes
his blueprint was taken from him but his
soul and his ability to be a special
human being and he could touch other
people was not taken from him that may
be his real gift was his ability to
inspire young kids his ability to get
himself to do whatever it took how do
you become a professional basketball
player unbelievable discipline
unbelievable Drive he started bringing
that to picking up trash and the game
started to change he started up Mary
could come home and take care of his
kids and pay his bills that doesn't
solve everything but it gives him a way
to suddenly regain himself when he sat
around with all of his family and you
saw part of those scenes and if you
watch little areas of browsing this week
you'll see some more scenes from his
family where you see him begin you
realize they love me whether I'm rich or
poor they love me I'm a professional
basketball player or not they love me
that's what he was really after and when
he got that it allowed him to let go and
say I can do other things that doesn't
mean he won't have challenges we're all
gonna have challenges in our life he him
it doesn't mean that at times he won't
wish he's doing more but he's no longer
stuck he's broken through because he now
knows I have control I can change my
life or I can change my blueprint and
when I do I can fulfill it I can start
to feel that aliveness now here's the
trap what do you think happens once you
fulfill your blueprint regularly once
you figure out how to do what you always
dreamed of you always dream to live a
certain way and now you live in that way
live in that way live in that way
everyday well the human nervous system
human spirit needs to grow so pretty
soon you'll get bored with that and
you'll come up with a new blueprint
that's part of the part of life that's
exciting
see if you and I are from this day
forward our gonna be happy just remember
what we've said it takes two things grow
and give a meaningful life comes from
growing that sense of progress and it
comes from having life not just be about
me but about we doing something that
makes me feel connected to other people
besides myself that growth that sense of
contribution fills a deep spiritual need
that we all have if you are unhappy in
your life you got three choices really
to blame that's not a choice it's not
gonna work don't blame someone else
don't blame you that don't blame
yourself just figure out what you're
gonna do
change your life that's my specialty if
you like my coaching or my team's
coaching come visit with us come to an
event come get a coach come to a program
or we'll guide you through it more than
just a few minutes like this and we'll
do it directly an environment that will
shift you or change your blueprint
you're gonna have to rewire what's going
on inside and that's what we focus on as
well so I hope this journey has been an
interesting one for you I hope it's
opened up your eyes to what it takes to
go from where you are to where you want
to be it takes changing your emotional
pattern to change bringing presents to
your life it takes realizing you have no
problems compared to somebody else and
putting your life in perspective it
takes the ability to deal with those
extreme stresses that happen in your
life by questioning your limiting
beliefs and again if we'd love to coach
you and show you how to change those in
a permanent way where it happens
automatically just like lifting weights
so often till the muscle is always there
and you find yourself able to follow
through it takes for you to be able to
figure how to deal with crisis and how
to turn it around it takes facing your
fear it takes pushing yourself through
what used to stop you it takes putting
yourself in a position where you connect
to what's more important than just
yourself what you value than just
yourself and it takes I think in this
case also the ability to realize that no
matter what happens to you you're more
than that moment you're more than the
story you think you're supposed to be
and that even when you're not matching
what you think you need to be maybe
there's a reason for that maybe you're
having to find a different part of
yourself that's gonna fulfill you at a
much deeper level sometimes failing to
get your goal gives you your destiny I
can't tell you how many people I've
known of the years who have an idea if
what they thought their life was
supposed to be like and they didn't
achieve it they felt miserable and upset
and frustrated and one day an opening
happened and they went oh my god thank
God that didn't happen
I think it's Garth Brooks had a great
song and it's a song about when he was
in high school and he was in love with
this girl infatuated with her and she
didn't even know that he existed and he
prayed to God every day that she would
notice him that she would fall in love
with him and then sure enough she never
did he was so disappointed his blueprint
didn't match his life didn't match it
because she didn't even know he existed
and he felt this suffering he could do
nothing to turn it around no 15 years
later he became a guy named Garth Brooks
somebody everybody knew and he could
rock you know stadiums with his energy
and a song at his music and he goes back
to be at his high school reunion it was
his 15 year even if I remember correctly
I don't remember the exact year but all
I remember is he said he saw that woman
that he was so obsessed by he was
looking forward to seeing her and now he
was Garth Brooks and he met her and
after he met her and spent some time
with her he wrote a song called thank
God for unanswered prayers sometimes not
getting your blueprints the best thing
that ever happened because the
disappointment drives you to find
something more important inside of you
or not getting it makes you look for
another aspect of your life a spiritual
aspect of a family aspect a physical
aspect if you can just trust that life
doesn't happen to you
it happens for you then you can find in
any situation a benefit that can take
your life to the next level I don't care
if you're Frank and Kristen I don't care
if you're you know Mandy and Scott I
don't care if you're Joaquin and Kim
every one of us in our life is gonna
feed faced situations where it feels
like we have total trauma something
that's been taken from us the real
question is what are you gonna do with
it some people just live in the story of
but they don't have gonna have the right
to do that the Frank and Chris them
lived in pain and felt bad we'd all say
they have the right to do it it's a
difference in what you have the right to
do and what you deserve to give yourself
and others we have the ability to
transcend whatever happens to us there's
something called post-traumatic growth
very few people know about it
two people go through the same stress
one's destroyed the other grows what's
the difference the people that grow will
not give up they don't have any excuses
they find the way to break through
whatever it takes and when they do three
things happen number one they realize
who they really are and what they're
capable of they realize there's so much
stronger than they thought they were and
number two they deepen all their
relationships you want to know who
really cares about you who you love and
who loves you go through some tragedy go
through some hard times all your
Facebook friends go away your real
friends your real family shows up for
you and you show up for them and it
deepens your relationships and the third
thing happens if you can push yourself
through and break through whatever
challenges life gives you each time you
have a breakthrough you get stronger and
it almost like builds a psychological
immunity in you we're suddenly all of a
sudden it's like stuff happens you know
stuffs gonna happen and you're not
scared of it anymore cuz after you've
been through a stroke after you've been
through you know losing the use of some
of your body or senses after you lose a
family member and you break through to
that you get to the other side it's like
give me your best shot life it's almost
like there's this psychological immunity
that says I'm ready for whatever life
will give me I don't want challenges but
if they're here I know I can handle them
that strength of spirit is what creates
a sense of freedom and joy in life
and that strength of spirit basically
comes from living a life where you are
constantly a never ending thing you way
to improve yourself and to help others
that's my mission and if we can serve
you again in the future I hope you'll
check us out there's three ways you can
continue to participate with us you can
come to an event come have an experience
with us live in a weekend at our unleash
the power within or our date with
destinies I think you'll find it's very
different than just sitting here talking
to you quietly sitting in front of your
computer screen it's a rock and roll
environment it's like going to the
ballpark in heaven one person sitting
there talking to you versus being in the
ballpark of the rock and roll concert
you know with 50,000 there's an energy
and a power that comes from its second
is there's immersion here we talked for
an hour there's distractions and emails
there it's total focus and we go for
immersion where literally what we did
here over six weeks few little
conversations all that happens over and
over again multiple times a day you get
that shift so come to an event or call
up and get a coach we have people that
you can work with and have a free
coaching session to make sure it's
really valuable for you but these are
people that can check in with you to
help make sure you break through you
make the changes you want to make and
your career your finances your body
emotions or whatever area matters to you
and finally lastly and probably most
importantly every day you got to feed
your mind cuz every day most of us are
turning on you know some form of news it
shows up in our pocket and our
blackberries or iPods or iPhones I
should say it shows up you know
here constantly it chases us in it
rarely does a good idea interrupt you
really what you have to do is pursue the
ideas pursue the experiences they're
gonna change your life and we have a way
to do it call that time no extra time a
wave where you can keep feeding your
mind the stuff that really matters with
some products or services so if you're
interested in any of those things be
sure to click on your interest of an
event your interest in having a free
coaching session or maybe try one of our
audio programs because the other
challenge here is with video got to sit
here potentially and watch me but with
audio you can do it while you're working
out you can do it while you're cleaning
the house you can do it while you're
driving in the car while you're getting
to work we'd love to continue serving in
any way we can I know I've gone wrong in
this session but I really want you to
think about how can I get my life the
way I want it to be the way I do it is I
figure out what my blueprint is and I
update it for what life is I changed my
life match my blueprint and suddenly my
life feels full and a life thank you for
the time that we spent together here
I've really enjoyed our time and I hope
that this breakthrough series reminds
you to never settle for less than you
can be never settle for less than you
can give or you can share LIVESTRONG
loop of passion and god bless

OnePlus 5 – Exploring Pro Mode with Kevin Abosch - Duration: 2:57.Hi everyone! I'm Kevin Abosch.
Like many of you, I'm always on the look-out for new advances in digital photography.
The OnePlus 5 provides those with the desire to fine tune their photography,
A suite of professional controls to help achieve results
That until recently, were only available through the use of a DSLR.
That's where Pro Mode, and its suite of useful features, comes into play.
Let's take a look at some of Pro Mode's most powerful features.
Features like the new Histogram,
Adjustable Screen Ratio
And Grids.
That's not all though
Pro Mode also gives you full control over the ISO
White Balance
Shutter Speed
Focus
And Exposure of your shots.
And also the option to shoot in RAW.
You might be wondering how each of these features work and what they can do for you.
Allow me to explain.
The Histogram shows when a scene is overexposed or underexposed.
On the left you see your dark areas,
And to the right your bright areas.
Keeping the levels in between will help you avoid underexposing shadows
Or make sure that a cloud doesn't appear to be just a white blob.
Being able to switch between aspect-ratios
Is very useful and can help evoke a particular feeling in your pictures.
If you're shooting a portrait you might choose the square format,
But when you're trying to capture a picturesque landscape,
The 16:9 ratio may be better suited to get more of what you want in the frame.
I'd recommend starting with the standard 4:3 ratio,
And then move to the others to achieve the right feel for your image
The grids feature can really assist novice photographers
While they get used to framing and placement.
You can choose from several grids, but I recommend sticking with the 3 by 3 grid for most scenes
Let's quickly see how they can assist you
Use the intersecting lines to place your subject as this will often create more engaging scenes
Driving the viewers eyes to what you want to show
Now that we've covered these basics.
Let's see how we can use them together with the exposure controls.
Getting the right exposure on the OnePlus 5
Is accomplished by adjusting the shutter speed and the ISO value.
Keep in mind when using slower shutter speeds you'll need to keep your camera steady.
And with moving subjects you may want a faster shutter speed to freeze the action.
In low-light conditions you can bring up the exposure by increasing the ISO value.
Adjust the white balance setting to achieve a cooler or warmer image.
Of course these are just a few examples of what you can accomplish with Pro Mode on the OnePlus 5.
The most important thing is to take lots of pictures and don't be afraid to experiment,
Play with the settings until you find combinations that work for you.
Go out, explore, and please share your pictures.
Thanks, and see you around.

A bit of seaweed
Add a bit of colour!

and it's looking ready to go!
Himeji Chanpon is the SHIT!
After you have finished your food

Give it a little clean.
It all goes in the hole down here.
Good as new... Just about...
So, we finished eating.
Got our shit to take away at the end. mochi Kaeri-ing this bad boy.

Country by country reporting: future-proofing your processes | World Finance - Duration: 3:44.World Finance: Tax departments in multinational corporations are preparing to meet the OECD's
country-by-country reporting standards. Not only do they need to be ready for year one,
but they need to future-proof their processes to be equipped for further changes.
Nancy Manzano: Multinationals should be asking themselves a number of questions to assess
their readiness for the upcoming country-by-country reporting requirements.
Where's my data going to come from? What kind of systems does it reside in? And can those
systems provide the data in the right format? For example, in legal entity format, as opposed
to maybe, management reporting format.
Do they have control over the data that they're going to be asking for? A lot of times they're
not even done in the same financial systems that maybe the corporate headquarters uses
to produce the financial statements.
Next, they should be asking, well, do I need to invoke any new processes or implement any
new technology to help me perform the tasks that I need to,
in order to complete the country-by-country reporting?
And then, once the data is collected, all those sources are identified, can I easily
reconcile that data back to other supporting documents.
World Finance: Deploying the right technology at the right points in the workflow will help
tax departments be more efficient in collating, reporting,
and reconciling all the information that they need.
Nancy Manzano: Multinationals are going to need to be able to address the inherent data
management issues around the collection and the conversion and the aggregation of the
data by country. The goal here is to create this repeatable, accurate, efficient process
that they can use year after year to be able to do their country-by-country report.
The technology that they choose is going to need to be able to handle the multiple sources
of data in the multiple formats that it may reside. It's going to need to be able to identify
errors – hopefully earlier in the process, as opposed to later in the process. It's going
to need to help them minimise the manual work that they have to perform on the data, because
we all know that the more manual manipulation you have to do to your data, the riskier it
becomes. And they're going to need to reconcile that data back to those other financial filings:
local country tax returns, worldwide consolidated financial statements,
transfer pricing documentation and the like.
World Finance: And aside from adding to tax departments' day to day, the country-by-country
report presents some higher level challenges for MNCs.
Nancy Manzano: The OECD has already said they intend to revisit the data that is presented
on the country-by-country form in 2020, to see if there are additional data elements
that they want to add.
Some of the other challenges are around, perhaps a lack of clarity around some of the definitions.
Having enough resources to do the initial implementation, and all of the research, and
delving into data sources that that's going to require. As well as doing it on an annual
basis, because this is going to happen year after year. And then also dealing with all
the new audit activity around transfer pricing.
On top of all that – perhaps the most concerning challenge – is that we've
got a whole new risk being introduced to the tax department, and that is what we call tax
reputation risk. Really a new concept for the tax department to manage.

Presentazione - Connie (with sub) - Duration: 1:09.Hi everyone I'm Connie!
And today I'm here with a new video, a bit different from the others
in fact today I'd like to introduce myself.
It will not be a long video
because I don't want to annoy anyone or tell you all my life.
So I'll say only the basic things:
I'm 18 years old and I live in Rome, in Italy.
I play guitar since I was 8 years old
and I sing from 5 years.
I really really like music
I listen to a little of everything, but I prefer Rock and Metal,
and one of my favourite band are Arch Enemy.
I decided to open a channel on youtube many years ago,
but due to various problem I have never opened it.
But in May i finally loaded my first video.
I have never done an intro video of the channel
because I was not sure to continue this project
and also because I'm really shy.
Well, I hope I didn't bore you
and see you soon. Greetings to all!
If you want you can also follow me on instagram
there will be a link in the description below.

Country by country reporting: managing your tax reputation risk | World Finance - Duration: 4:20.World Finance: The OECD's BEPS initiative was a response to rising public anger at multinational
corporations' aggressive tax planning. The BEPS actions make companies' transfer pricing
arrangements more transparent to tax authorities – but there's concern it'll go further.
Bernadette Pinamont: Companies must assume – and be prepared for – the country-by-country
report in particular to be made public, and/or potentially leaked. And they must be ready
to defend themselves, and state their facts and circumstances in public, to defend how
aggressive or conservative they may have been in tax planning.
Nancy Manzano: Tax reputational risk is not super brand-new. I mean, back when
I was leading tax departments, you know: we didn't want any bad tax news showing up as
a headline. Nowadays that's probably not good enough. There is so much media attention down
to a very grassroots, social media level, around this issue of base erosion and profit
shifting, and all of the things that companies are doing to avoid paying tax. That it's very
much something that on a daily basis companies need to be paying attention to.
We need to make sure that the tax story that the company has created for itself is something
that they can explain to not just tax authorities, but to the general public as well. Because
the public is really hungry for, you know, the kind of tax transparency that the country-by-country
report is providing. The problem is, they just don't know how to interpret it.
Bernadette Pinamont: Many companies will say the CbCr report is only nine elements;
it is not the whole story, it is not the whole value prop for transfer pricing, it only tells
you a certain slice of the picture.
Nancy Manzano: So, giving them that access to that information,
without some defensible and understandable language would be really
risky. I think some education around the full economic picture of the base erosion
and profit shifting initiative, and the changes that it could bring about, could be really
helpful for people to understand.
World Finance: So how do tax professionals need to adapt to this new age of tax transparency?
Nancy Manzano: I think tax people in general kind of have this tendency to hold back, just
a little bit, until they know that something's really real. Until they have all the information
around that something. But I think the pace at which things are coming at tax departments
nowadays – they don't really have that luxury anymore, to kind of wait.
Bernadette Pinamont: The tax department of today has to be even more agile and quicker.
They are always challenged with new administrative
filing requirements, new legislative changes, new audits, whether it's aggressiveness by
a local state or municipality, or it's the countries. And they're forced with looking
at some pretty quick turnaround times to be able to inform their CFO or CEO what does
that legislation mean that I just read this morning? And that will be their future.
Nancy Manzano: We're shifting to a world where doing things using manual processes
time after time is becoming even more risky, with each new initiative, with each new public
disclosure requirement. So you've got to find systems and processes that can help you get
through that, and you've got to have the right technology, and you've got to have the right
people to run that technology in the tax department.
Finally – and I think most importantly – we've really already entered into a world where tax shaming
is commonplace. Now tax departments really in earnest have to be able to stay away from
the prying eyes and ears of the tax paparazzi.
So, I would say: be ready. To answer the questions from whomever they come. Whether they be internally
or externally. Be ready.
