Youtube daily report Sep 18 2017

hi to Revientor Reborn, this is DCSw in an F-5 you can see the pilot in cokpit

today will speak about the MK82SE, there they are

you see they are like the Mk82 but with a hi drag device

as you can see in the pictures

that make the boom slow the speed down considerably

the real F-5 manual works pretty good with this weapon

you have one table in screen now

and I will explain how to read them, on the left, is the dive, in this case is a 0

the is the altitude to release the boom

if I want to strike at 500 feet and I am now at 8000 feet, you must to know when to initialize the dive, to match the feet and the piper over the target at same time

if you are in 0 dive planning strike, that is a lot easier

in the video I will do a easy one

then the speed to release the boom, the next line is not interesting for us

the impact angle is not modeled in DCS, for that the booms do not bounce like real life

then is the side deep is the value to introduce in the HUD in mil radians

that is the value to set in the HUD

you see some values are 200 and more, that is an exaggeration you can not use those values in DCS

now you can reed the table, the DCS important factors

now in ckpi, the configuration is all the booms as you desired the same, you can see them in my other bombing videos

I recommend as usual use ripple

with that we cover more area and we can have more area to aim

the fuze, and interval, as you want

the 0.14 interval is going to be noticeable with this boom

in a line of vehicles that you are attacking ok, but a static target, only one... I am going to choose 0.10

the mission is the usual one to target practices, I will perform a strike from 500 feet, at 400 knots, with a mils of 210, is out of my HUD

try this in home, because I do not like how is simulated the HUD in simulators, put the hand as I do, with a small hole and try to look your mouse, aiming with that hole, then move your head, keep the hand stand still, as you see you loose the mouse of that hole

that is the problem with DCSw, because.... now the piper is in 188 mils, out of the HUD, now with the trackit I move my body, I see the piper, and the people will aim in that way,

with this example that I told you to do with your hand, you know now that is not possible, if you don´t have your body correctly sitted, the HUD do not worth at all

any movement of your body must give you a error in the piper, now If i put the piper in some point

now is in that tree of the coast, moving my body my head, you see the piper in the same very place

that is irreal, but almost all simulators , are programed in a easy way, they put a "screen" with the hud, far away of the plane and is linked to the body movement,

they program in that way to make the effect to disappear the hud info with the body movement

is a simulation not accurate but enjoyable,

try to mimic reality and do not the body elevation movement to see the piper

as you see the value of 211 is not set in the console only 200

ius out of the hud and I do not like to move my body to get unreal things

I get other reference to do this strike, i Use the black cover of the instrument, the sun block, like with the rocket to illuminate the night the very same one

remember 500 feet 400 knots, the speed is kind of slow for this strike

when more speed more farther the bomb goes, and same with the altitude, but in this case, due the hi-drag book, is not all true, the altitude will make the boom go further way but not too much

keep the references it´s very important

for that drop 2 booms minimal

setting the ckpit

I will go stread a head, when I loose the visual with the target I will imagine where is it, and when over the reference push the button

everything is fast, now you must know already where is the target

you have to put the target on the white line of the camera , and when you do not see the target because the camera hide it, be smart and whink when is over the reference

the reference is under the camera, thas is when you have to hit the button

everything is critical, speed altitude, vertical speed.... and I do not have time to see the target

booms away

I miss the target laterally

I will do a second pass with out talking, sorry I need to be focused xD

I only will say when I hit the button

do not use the pedals

booms, but I will miss the target laterally

that was because the bad aimin from the distance, this is a difficult strike

I will do not more runs to not make the video longer, but from far you can get and keep the parameters, the hard thing is be on the track of the target

because you do not see the target, you have to practice at same altitude and master it, then you can try different ones

because you have to get you eye trained imagin thing in movement ,

see at what speed the target is move on your HUD and then when hided imagine that speed

is like the drive test

that was the tutorial, no casualties, I will put a video of some of my practices that I hit where I want to hit xD

bye bye subscribe and give me your feedback

How Authors Can Use Video to Promote a Textbook - Duration: 4:58.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to talk about academic authors using video to promote their textbook or monograph.

It has always been a responsibility of authors in trade publishing to help to market and

promote their books.

This is even more so in the social media saturated, attention-crowded world today.

Scholarly book authors may not be accustomed to this, but those that can summon the interest

and enthusiasm can benefit from these efforts in many ways.

Using video is one way to promote a textbook or monograph, but is increasingly becoming

the preferred method.

For authors to be successful long term, they need to think of themselves as a brand and

to have a platform for their ideas and their work and this includes a website and social

media.

This is true for researchers and authors even if they are not authoring a book.

Here are some ideas for an individual to use videos to promote a textbook or monograph:

First is the classic author interview.

It might just be the author speaking or the author and an interviewer.

Talk about what role the book serves, how and where to use in a curriculum, features

and benefits, and more.

Second, create a video about who you are.

Books, many times, are about a human connection between the author and the reader or instructor.

You might want to include how you came to write the book or become interested in the

subject.

Third, take a look inside the book.

Photos of the cover and the highly visual pages can be helpful.

Point out features such as keywords, exercises, key concepts, whatever the book has.

Include views of supplemental student and instructor's material if available.

Show don't tell.

Fourth, demonstrate, by yourself, or with students how to use the book.

Get releases for including others in the video.

Email me for a sample release.

If the book is not for classroom use, you can talk to someone about the book and what

they found interesting about it.

Fifth, have another instructor explain how they use the book in their course.

Perhaps talk about the classroom activities they use.

Sixth, throw a book signing or launch event and film some very short clips of it.

Overall, keep the videos short, maybe three to five minutes each.

Some might be longer.

Be mindful of the background, external noises, and lighting.

Simply experiment and it is easy to get it right.

Two important comments on these suggestions.

Look at other author created videos and see what you like and don't like.

Look at your book competitors and see what kind of marketing materials or videos they

have.

This will help you position your work.

Don't be shy in highlighting differences between your book and other ones in the marketplace,

in general or by title.

It is completely fair to say, for example, your book is the only book that comes with

PowerPoints, or something similar.

Of course, coordinate all these efforts with your publisher.

Make sure you are working in harmony with them, and not at cross purposes.

Make sure they link to and promote the videos that you do and vice versa.

Be mindful of any copyrighted material you might be using and that you have permission.

Create a channel for all your videos at a website such as YouTube or Vimeo.

Link the videos to your website or home page at your university or institution.

Connect all your videos to your social media efforts and let your institution know about

them as they might promote the videos as well.

Videos can be very, very easy to create.

All of my videos were done with a cell phone and a simple tripod.

I read off a teleprompter app on my phone.

The videos can be edited online using free video editing software you likely already

have access to.

None of this is technical or difficult and you likely know people in your life that this

is second nature for who can show you.

If not, there are many YouTube videos that explain it all in step-by-step detail.

Above all, let your passion and excitement come through in the videos.

Your enthusiasm will help sell the book.

And always show the book cover.

Well that's it.

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel or click on the playlist on starting a YouTube

Thank so much and take care.

"Excellent Replied By Sadhguru" l When Someone Ask How Do I Know That You Are Not Like Ram Rahim? - Duration: 10:36.

press the bell icon on the YouTube app and never miss another Update

I have two clarifications from you sadhguru first thing is India from time immemorial has

been producing lot of philosophers no social reformers like you then how can I

say how can we evaluate you that you don't belong to Rama Rahim category my

second concern is let me finish one let me finish one question let me finish one

question we'll finish it so you said India has produced many philosophers and

social reformers from time immemorial I think you've got it completely wrong and

that not because India never produced social reformers or philosophers

philosophies one thing we always shunned this is a land that always focused on

nurturing human consciousness this is why we look like such a big chaos but

still we manage entire world wonders how the hell does India function yes we are

like a swarm of bees we are going all over the place but still going in one

direction because in this land nobody could ever give us a moral code even

when so-called divine entities came all they got was a debate soon

when she became his wife Parvati asked a thousand questions entire Sutra is full

of questions and questions and questions he can't give a commandment and said

this is it he has to explain this is not a philosophy this is a seeking this has

been always a land of seekers when Krishna came Arjuna his dearest friend

how many questions endless amount of questions nobody could ever give a

commandment or a moral code in this country because here we believed the

best thing is to stir up your humanity not your morality by fixing a moral code

today it looks like everything is in order

but tomorrow people will find a way to subvert the model code and do their own

thing anyway the best way to bring about a certain order in the society is to

stir up one's humanity but if you give a moral code it's a one day's job you can

carve it on the rock and say this is it forever but if you want to stir up

humanity you can't do it to a crowd you have to do one at a time one at a time

it's a lifelong commitment to people around you about I don't know what you

know about that I don't know what to say about him but at the same time I want to

tell you this this country has produced the most phenomenal sages sages with

incisiveness of mind and consciousness that if you come after 10,000 years till

it makes sense what they said many thousand years ago you are not looking

at them right now you have unfortunately come to your stage where your idea of a

sage is Ram Rahim because you have a silly idea of secularism he exploited it

with Ram Rahim your idea of secularism Iraq Akbar

Tony so he became Rahm Rahim I don't know why is not Robert also he did not

add so see this is what I said today because the court has convicted him

everybody is standing up and saying this is the most evil man the first day I saw

him on a news channel the obscenity of the aesthetics itself I said why is even

a national news channel showing this kind of thing obviously if you pay money

this whatever guard business what is the movie

now because the court has convicted all of you are doing this I said it the

first day this is a joke being played upon our society you must end up and say

something but no all the news channels all the intellectuals everybody clapped

their hand because they liked the garish nature of what he's doing but today

because the court is convicted they are saying this this must go because first

of all this is the thing when the court was to give a judgement their people

went about creating arson around the court why are they doing this

because they believe and many times unfortunately its work this way that

they can force the hand of law with violence or some force on the street

that's the reason why they're doing it similarly many news channels are also

believing by creating a certain force of opinion they can force the hand of law

this must stop if we want to become a law-abiding nation our opinion should

not be bigger than the law law should be the ultimate thing so here one thing is

law which is between you and me because the law is about how all of us can front

function together in the society but another thing is how I am within myself

how I am within myself must happen by working my humanity not by fixing

morality on me but if you want to evoke humanity we need many people who are

dedicated to that I think it was very beautifully put when adi shankara's

spoke about it he said every one of you have tasted a mango but all of you have

not planted a mango tree because 10 people planted mango trees thousand

people are eating mangoes the sweetness of mango they know so these people those

10 people for every thousand who were there in the past unfortunately they're

missing so here we are at a kind of a flux in the society right now where we

have no more and where we have nobody to stir up our

consciousness not enough at least so you are facing the kind of dilemma you're

facing all kinds of people are cropping up and filling that space just because

you found one Ram Rahim don't try to paint the entire clan black

because they don't belong to the same clan you must understand every sage

every year every yogi who came he came absolutely as an individual maybe he was

formed by a certain tradition but when he stood up he stood up on his own then

on his own clarity of perception those scholars who quote scriptures and other

things are different but every yogi every mistake every sage and seer who

came always stood on their own clarity and people who saw the clarity went to

them those who did not did not go to them how Ram Rahim things become popular

it is like a cinema thing okay it's like somebody becomes a star simply because

of some commercial movie or whatever they do and that the same thing has

unfortunately happening in this sphere of life also because people are so

starred out there is no sense anywhere they're trying to make sense out of

something because we don't have a moral code because we don't have one book to

follow and it's a great thing we don't have one book to follow or fight for but

at the same time there is a big chasm in the country there is no morality and

there is no consciousness if consciousness had we stirred up there is

lot of work to do if moral code has to be given it's very easy ten things we

can write down and say this is it anyway nobody will follow it outside they will

pretend within themselves they do what they have to do so today

it happens unfortunately I am walking on the street Indian people Chennai before

they will say so to their children and see see Santa Claus

okay what's happened to your brains you did not say see a testimony

you did not say see well he looks like my sister you did not say he looks like

this yogi or that yogi you say Santa Claus because the British left 70 years

ago but your brains went with them it's time you retrieve that

you

In sport like business - FutureNet and Brazilian boxing - Duration: 2:41.

Hello! We are now in the club "Next Level", Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Opole.

The seminar with Adam Wardzinski, the best Jiu-Jitsu sportsman in Poland and one of the best sportsmen in the world, continues.

Many thanks to Adam for accepting our invitation. In fact, this is the second time, as last year, in September, he was already with us.

We are grateful to FutureNet for being our partner and supporting us.

Thanks to it, we have the opportunity to receive in our club such stellar guests as Adam.

"Sport is like business." One has to learn from the best, to take them as an example.

Due to this, our development is simpler.

We hope Adam will appear here more and more often.

It is a great honor for me to be here again.

I'm glad that the club is developing so quickly.

As already said, both in sport and in business

of importance is the right partner, that will lift us up at a certain moment.

I know this from my own experience, since, starting my career in Jiu-Jitsu, I didn't have so many opportunities.

Then there appeared people and companies that helped me in some way, so I was able to advance.

The popularity has increased, and now here I am,

but then again, not only in sports, but also in life it is important what kind of people we will meet and where,

at a certain moment, someone will give us a hand, lift us up, give us an opportunity to develop further,

spread our wings, so that we would be able to achieve even greater success than we were supposed to.

We are grateful to Adam for being here and now with us and helping us to speed up our development.

We are still a very young club, but we want to develop as quickly as possible from the sports side.

We are grateful to FutureNet for taking care of us and being our partner.

Welcome to the FutureNet platform.

Second Best Trails in Connecticut? Mountain Biking Cowles Park in East Granby, CT - Duration: 6:21.

Today, we're riding the trails in Cowles Park in East Granby, Connecticut.

According to singletracks.com Cowles is the second highest rated trail system in the state,

so of course I couldn't resist the opportunity to check this place out.

Hey guys.

My buddy Ed gave us what he called the "full tour" which, as you could probably guess,

took us to nearly all of the major trails within the park.

Most of what I'm calling the named trails are marked with a sign, but it isn't clear

to me how you would find them without help.

There you go you got it.

Awesome!

Celebratory wheelie!

As much as I tried I could not find any mountain bike specific maps of Cowles.

That means you'll probably want to find someone who knows the park to show you around.

Luckily the local riders we met were super friendly and happily told us about their favorite

spots to ride.

But let's take a look at a few of my favorite spots we rode, starting with Smaug's Lair

and Keg Roller.

These two trails were the first of many long, fast descents which in my mind are the staple

features for Cowles.

Yeah!

Yeah just popped my chain off.

Come on.

Another surprisingly fantastic trail we rode was Toboggan Run.

It's short, but you can really open up and lean in.

Well I did expect it to be so fast.

All of a sudden I'm like alright let's do it!

And before we get to the last of my favorite trails, let's talk a little bit about the

vast network of connector trails.

These trails aren't cool enough to get their own names, but they do criss cross and run

along the Metacomet hiking trail. That means you best be prepared to work.

Keep your eyes peeled because there are hidden gems all over the place that you won't want to miss

And finally let's take a brief look at Inside Job.

Inside Job had the most variety out of all the trails we rode, offering fast downhill

sections, punchy climbs, and a few technical features along the way

I like those semi-wide ones. That's like the perfect width for me

Which sounds weird to say but ...

So what do you think?

Is Cowles the second best trail system Connecticut has to offer?

And how do you pronounce Cowles; coals or cow-les?

Let me know in the comments below.

Before we leave I want to thank Ed for making this ride happen, give shoutout to everyone

we met along the way, and of course thank you so much for watching!

If you liked this video, consider giving it a thumbs up and maybe even subscribing.

Now it's your turn, get out there and ride!

Does God test us? - Duration: 5:48.

Well, we were just talking with our team here about the idea of:

"Test or Temptation"!

Does God even test us?

We're talking about when we pray everyday in Matthew 6: "The Lord lead us not into temptation."

I just realized I don't even believe that!

I don't believe that God leads me into temptation.

But it says that obviously He does.

And then we thought about that in Matthew chapter 4, it said that

"the Holy Spirit led Yeshua into the wilderness to be tested by the devil."

OK who did this? Was this God or the devil? So we realize that there is such a thing as testing.

But there's two sides of it.

There's a positive side to tests, in which God wants to lift you up up up up up...

and there's a negative side to tests, in which the world, the flesh, and the devil want to bring you down down down down.

But all the people of God, from the beginning in the book of Genesis to the end in the book of Revelation -

there's nobody, I can't think of anyone in the whole Bible that didn't go through testing.

Testing is part of our faith because God wants to increase our faith.

I'm thinking maybe it's like somebody that's training to be a good boxer.

What you do is you give them a small opponent and then a bigger opponent and then a bigger opponent and then a bigger...

You're not doing that so the guy will get knocked out. You're doing it so that he can win the gold.

So God gives us these tests.

And I thought about it in sort of a little ladder of five steps.

The highest step is that God wants to glorify us with light and fire and power and beauty, Hallelujah!

And one down from that - the second level - is that He wants to give us victory.

Give us tests so we can win and have victory.

The next one down after that - the third rung - is He wants to purify our hearts.

He wants to give us a pure heart in our attitude and in our desires.

And then the fourth level down is if we're sinning,

He wants to bring us to repentance of that sin.

He can give us a test to show us the bad results - the damage of our sin - to make us stop sinning.

And then you have the fifth level down - which is the worst level - which is punishment.

God brings punishment on someone who is past the point of even being willing to repent.

So when we think about that, we saw:

what's an example of somebody getting punished?

That lowest level is like Pharaoh after he had been tested ten times to repent and he didn't do it.

God opened up the Red Sea and said "Hey you want to attack?

You're going to do it, not Me."

And Pharaoh failed even that test, and he got punished.

God was not trying to make him repent at that moment.

He was making him repent during the ten plagues. That was the repentance test.

This was a punishment test.

And when God says "I'm going to bring all the nations against Jerusalem

on the day of the Second Coming, I'm going to bring them." That's His test.

Not to get them to repent, but to destroy them.

The step up we then - from the fourth level - is when we're doing something wrong, and...

...we're not repenting. What does God do?

The test is basically just to let the results of what we're doing happen to us.

He just takes His hand off of us for a moment to let you see what you're doing.

"You drink all the time and you still drive?

"I'm helping you not to have an accident, but sooner or later, getting you to stop drinking is more important to Me."

So it's not that He makes you have an accident.

But He just allows you to see the results of what you're doing wrong.

And the next level up is to be purified.

I like something that Liat said about that, it says in John 15 that those who are bearing fruit

He prunes you and purifies you.

It's not because you're doing something wrong, but it's because you're doing something good.

And that purifying has to do with our heart. That's for people that are not sinning.

And God says "It's not enough that you don't sin. I want to have not just 'not sinning.'

I want you to have a pure heart. I want you not to want to sin."

There's a lot of us that we don't sin, but we want to sin. Now He says "That's not good enough."

He said "That's that third level. I want to get to purify your heart."

Now when your heart gets pure,

then He can give you the next level of a victory.

Like we saw David and Goliath.

He brings Goliath. It's a monster, cursing, it's a test!

And David: "But why did God bring that?"

"Because you know, here's My boy David.

He's going to knock that giant down. You know the bigger they come the harder they fall, come on!

And so he knocked him down. That was an opportunity for victory.

And then there's a level even above that,

which is Glorification.

And that's what Yeshua did on the Cross.

And He said "Father not My will. But if this is what You want, I'll do it." And He said "In this I will be glorified."

And when you give yourself totally to obey God, it's even more than victory.

It's even that you're willing to go through

difficulties, attacks, persecution, suffering to get to the victory.

You come out of that so pure that God can give you glory and power and honor,

and it's not even going to bother your heart, Hallelujah!

So these are the tests of God

God brings everyone into tests, and it's better that you know it so you can pass the tests.

You can sometimes pass a test if you don't get prepared,

but usually you get a better chance to pass a test if you prepare yourself.

So let's see this: God tests everybody.

On every test there's two sides.

God wants to bring you up up up up

and the world, the flesh, and the devil want to bring you down down down.

And the worst level is punishment.

If you're not punished, you can repent.

If you've repented, then you can purify your heart.

If your hearts are pure, then you can have victory.

And if you even had the victory, God can bring you to another place:

of being glorified with His honor and power.

Amen.

Self Awareness in Business - Know Your Strengths and Weaknesses - Duration: 3:51.

- So I was just on a call, where one of the guys

whose email that I tore down was

talking to me and asking me about

how I do that.

Right, how do you take an email and actually improve it?

And the short answer to that is, you just do it.

You go line by line and you try to think about

what the person reading the email would think

when reading it, and then you change lines.

It comes back to being honest with yourself,

which I would say is actually one of the keys

to success; being self-aware, knowing

where you suck, knowing where you're actually good,

and then trying to improve the places

that you're bad at, or outsourcing them

and hiring someone to do it.

The reason I got okay or the reason I came to do

these cold email teardowns at all,

is because I've sent millions of emails.

It started with me over in New York City

sending emails to get my first job,

and it's just been sending emails, getting responses,

knowing how people react.

Re-writing, tweaking, and trying to get the numbers up.

There's no magic formula for anything,

but for sales specifically.

It really is a game of sending things out,

and waiting for responses.

And the easiest way I've found to short-circuit that

or to skip levels, is to

either talk to people that are way more experienced

than you and try to improve.

I did a lot of that, still do a lot of that.

But the other way is to gain self-awareness.

Jump outside of your own body and think about

what would somebody who's not me

actually think if they got this, right?

Somebody who has no context on you.

Somebody who has no idea your backstory,

your background.

Somebody who won't hear your excuses.

What are they gonna think about the email?

So when I read an email from somebody,

and this happened recently; I was reading an email

from somebody and asked them you know, "Why would

"you word this in a particular way?"

And their response to that was an excuse.

They said, "Oh, I worded this a particular way

"because I tried it a million times and

"I just couldn't get it to work right,

"so I added two extra sentences."

Which is okay ...

To them, right?

You end up with an eight, nine sentence email

which is larger than something that somebody

would normally read, it's not scrollable

on an iPhone screen.

But to them that's okay because they need eight sentences

to phrase the way that their business concept works.

But to the recipient, all they're gonna see

is an eight-sentence email.

All they're gonna see is an email that's too long

that they're not gonna read.

So self-awareness, stepping outside that person's body,

that person would say, oh,

maybe I should work extremely hard and try

to rephrase it down to five sentences,

'cause eight sentences is just too long.

And we make those excuses in a bunch

of different areas of our lives.

For instance with these YouTube videos.

I can go back and look at a video from

two, three years ago and realize

how terrible it is; I'm saying "um" all the time,

I'm jumping around, the editing's not tight.

But in the moment I thought it was good.

And you can kinda see the self-awareness develop

over time, especially if you go back and you watch

a YouTube channel from the beginning.

As I kind of learn what works and what didn't,

the channel got stronger, I stopped saying

"um" as much, and the videos got stronger.

And that all comes from self-awareness.

The biggest life hack if you're trying to

develop self-awareness, is

meeting with people, asking for feedback,

and actually implementing the feedback and

not acting like a douchebag when they give you feedback.

Most of the time, the gut reaction when somebody

gives you real, hardcore feedback

is to come up with some kind of excuse back to them.

If someone for instance was to say something like,

"You know, you should get your hair cut

"at nicer hair place, 'cause your haircut

"looks kinda cheap."

I could come back and say, "Oh I get it cut

"at Superclips, 'cause Superclips is the best."

That's not a good reaction to feedback

and that person's not likely to give you feedback again.

If however I say, "Oh, really, what do you recommend?

"What am I doing wrong with my hair?"

They'll be more likely to give me feedback on my hair

in the future.

And maybe I don't want feedback on my hair

so I can tweak that, take that feedback poorly

to encourage them not to give that kind of feedback.

But especially when people are talking about

your business, or they're talking about things

from an outside point of view,

it's worth listening to because that

is what adds the self-awareness that you need.

it to encourage this type of content.
