Sloane Stephens: Life is good - US Open 2017

She's got a new attitude. It may have to do with the fact that Sloane Stephens is back on a tennis court and not confined to a wheel chair.

Earlier this year, Stephens graduated from sitting to, as she says, walking around on that peg leg thing..

That is where the 24-year-old was just six months ago. As she sat out WTA action recovering from a severe stress fracture that required foot surgery and months of rehabilitation, the talented American's ranking plummeted all the way to No.

957. Now Stephens is back up and walking, running – as few can – and winning.

She surged to consecutive semifinals at the prestigious Rogers Cup in Toronto and the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati – only her third and fourth tournaments of the year – by upending the likes of Grand Slam champions Petra Kvitova and Angelique Kerber.

Her ranking shot up to 83. After that serious foot injury that kept her off the tour for 11 months, Stephens has suddenly rebooted her career.

I obviously wasnt happy to get injured, said Stephens. But it was a good lesson for me.

It was a good time to be able to take a break, get my health in order, then just kind of reevaluate my whole entire situation, come back a better player and better person..

On April 18, Stephens posted a short video of herself taking baby steps in rehab on her Instagram account, where she has nearly 84,000 followers. The caption read: Day 1 walking …. EXCITED!!!!!!!!.

Three days ago, just four months removed from those first steps and after beating Dominika Cibulkova in the second round, Stephens posted a pretty black-and-white photo.

In it, she clutched her racquet in victory, her fists clenched, eyes closed and mouth in a wide smile. The caption said, simply: MOOD..

Sloane has earned the right to be in a good mood. She has claimed victories over four players in the Top 20 in the past month alone.

In reaching the second week at the US Open – her first wins in Flushing since 2014 – Stephens defeated the 2015 finalist, Roberta Vinci, No. 11 seed Cibulkova and Ashleigh Barty, a young Aussie having her own breakthrough year.

The native Californian made her big splash on tour as a 19-year-old. The youngster streaked to the semifinal of the Australian Open, defeating her idol Serena Williams in the quarters.

That year, Stephens ascended to a ranking of No. 11 (finishing the year at No. 12). Labeled the new Cinderella on straight-news broadcasts and featured in the likes of Vogue magazine, the teen was quickly anointed Serena's successor.

Stephens was a phenomenal athlete with telegenic looks and a bubbly, voluble off-court personality. With her blinding smile, dimples and elegance on a tennis court, she was a marketer's dream.

Yet Stephens didn't win a WTA tournament until a full two years after her breakthrough. And her last appearance Round of 16 at her home major, the US Open, was in 2013 -- the year she reached her career-high ranking.

For three years, Stephens hovered in the Top 40 – even winning four smaller tournaments just last year – but she appeared to have peaked as a 20-year-old.

When the media and tennis insiders were quick to label her the Next Best Thing, a career in the Top 40, though, wasn't exactly what was expected of the American.

The enormous expectations were understandable. Stephens possesses enviable gifts on a tennis court. Few players are as fluid. She is exceptionally smooth but lightning quick.

And she has deceptive firepower. Sloanes swings are relaxed, but the ball rockets off her racquet, a product of excellent timing and racquet-head speed.

Even with those natural gifts, Stephens suffered a rash of setbacks, and her upwards trajectory wasn't as smooth as her entry into the big time. Stephens grew frustrated when things didn't go her way.

She had a disturbing tendency to get negative, translating into a less-than-sunny disposition on court. Before I was, like, so emotional, admitted Stephens. Everything, like, always got to me..

Stephens often appeared desultory and complacent in matches, especially outside of the tours biggest events.

When you play week in and week out, a couple years in a row, theres a lot of ups and downs. said Stephens this week I think it can wear you out a bit.

Commentators began to wonder whether she lacked the competitive fire required of champions, or whether she was content with merely decent results and a life in the limelight.

With such an effortless-looking game, it was easy to jump to the conclusion that Stephens wasn't always putting in a full effort.

As the losses piled up, and Stephens found it difficult to return to the results she tasted as a teen, it seemed that the American didn't trust her weapons.

She backed off her shots, playing passive and middling tennis rather than the explosive, offensive game that brought her success.

That winning style of tennis has reappeared after her injury break from the tour. Stephens' more aggressive game has accompanied a change in attitude. I play a sport for a living. I dont, like, operate on people, said Stephens last week.

This is not life or death. I think its hard to realize that when youre out there playing, because theres a lot riding on it: prize money, points, so many things go into it..

I think I have it pretty good, she added. I think once I realized that, I was, like: Life is actually really very good.. I think thats where Im at now.

Another Top Toys success!

They are the owners of Top Toys. For the ones who do not know TT it´s like Aurimat in Mexico, They had many important licenses.

They are going to unveil many myths, everything that happened in the fabric. What better than having them here to narrate us the story.

We are very happy to have them here because of all the variants they created, in lines like: MOTU, My Little Pony, Barbie. For me this talk is very important!

Many have asked me how I appeared on the toys business when I was a business man; I was the financial officer of a very important Argentinian company,

Position to which I was lucky to access when I was 27 years old, and in which I worked for the next 10 years.

It was 1974. I was in London with my wife and we had to buy toys for our kids. We visited a Toy Store called Hamleys and it was surprising, marvelous.

It was a five floor building for toys.

I thought; What´s this? We do not have this in Argentina.

So when I came back to my country, I started studying the toy business and it was very surprising when I found out that there were 400 toys producers in Argentina,

But there was not a single toy company at that moment. So I said; I don´t know anything about toys, but I have the capital and the management to start running a company properly.

On 1976, we established Top Toys, we organized the company and on 1977, we were ready for the market.

We started producing some products and importing many others.

We went and said; of this we want 50,000. Of this other we want 100,000, but we want the exclusiveness.

That allowed us to create marketing campaigns and good publicity that helped us modify this business in Argentina.

On 1978, we signed a license to sell SW "Guerra de las Galaxias" in Argentina.

That product was 100% imported. All the commercials that you are going to watch were produced in Argentina

Because at that time it was not allowed to dub others country´s publicity.

Star Wars was then produced by us in 1983,

Because after the Malvinas War in Argentina we were not allowed to import anything

So if we wanted to do something important we had to do it inside the country.

In 1981 I attended The New York Toy Fair and I wanted to enter Mattel's stand but they didn't let me in.

They told me I couldn't be there because we were not Mattel's distributor.

And I said that if I didn't know their products how could I be a distributor.

But they kept denying me access.

So I told them that my company was the most important toy company in Argentina but if they were not interested

I could just go; and just after I said that, the person talked to someone and told us that somebody would see us.

They took us to a dirty, small room full of boxes where we were supposed to wait for the

Latin America Vice President where she told us then we couldn't be there because we were not distributors.

So I kept saying that if I didn't know their products, how come I become Mattel's distributor?

But she kept saying that I could enter.

So I asked for a catalogue but they didn't gave me one.

I told her that maybe I could check their products at FAO Schwarz toy store

It was then when she realized that they were talking nonsense and they let me in.

In 1983 we were visited by a very important Mattel's functionary to offer us of the license of MOTU.

At that moment Mattel really needed to have royalties from wherever because they needed to improve their earnings

And so we started developing MOTU line.

It took us time and we even sent someone to Los Angeles to study and get qualified

On paint masks production.

We started preparing the molds. You must know that our first pieces were smaller than Mattel's.

Why?

Because we did foundry molds copying the actual figures and we produced the mold using the figure

Using this method a contraction occurred and the figures came out smaller

When you inject the plastic the pieces are smaller

The Zamac molds are flimsy, you have to be very careful when working with them and the production becomes more expensive

When we started growing with the line we started making iron molds.

Also you may notice that there were many different types of heads.

The first heads that we used were imported from Mattel, made by a rotomolded process

and later on we made injection molds made with a strong, durable material.

You can visit our display were we have on display some of the roto-molds. Later our molds were made of Beryllium Copper, a very resistant material.

That December we got 130,000 toys on to the market.

The next year we got 1, 300,000.

Talking about Panthor Top Toys.

These pieces were flocked by a third party, but it was a very slow.

Dirty and expensive process so we replaced it directly with the painted Panthor.

Different types of yellow He-man's painting because didn't have the painting that we needed.

(Speech Bubble: tell them about Kobra Khan) Well Kobra Kan is a special case,

because we had an excess in product and we needed to sell it on the market.

That's why there was a variation with Kobra Kan.

The camouflaged Kobra Kan, the one that everyone looks for.

Which was the color of Mosquitor's blood?

The two colors that are available in the market were produced by us.

-The Mosquitor blood has a very simple explanation.

The first pieces of the mosquitor were red.

But they had some quality deficiencies.

So we asked to be able to identify the blood of the Mosquitor.

The solution was to make the blood a darker color.

And they sent us the pieces from Mattel with the ink a little bit darker. That's why it looks black.

-Now I'm going to tell you something that the collectors don't know

Because no collector was sent the piece because we had very few pieces.

Less than 1,000 pieces.

And it's Orko.

There are some Orko figures that came out with the circle painted in a dark blue color and not in black.

And it was because of the lack of ink.

That variant is unknown by collectors!

-At that time the company also produced.

Many board games like "LIFE", "Who's Who?", Simon, Barbie, My Little Pony

And we brought the tv commercials of all those figures that we would like you to watch.

Especially the ones of Star Wars that were never shown.

That is like the dust at in the bottom of the drawer.

They were kept and luckily we found them to share them with you.

Collectors are the people that enjoy more this kind of material!

I would like to thank Hector, my father, for giving us as kids the possibility to play with this types

of products because if it wasn't for people like him in Argentina we would still playing with games of the 70's.

In my memories of having been on the production plant when.

He -Man was being made, that got me so marked that when Argentina ends a crisis like the one of 2001

In the back of my head I was thinking what we could do with all what we had left from MOTU.

I started working in Fuerza T, for many collectors is a line that

I don't know whether to call it rare, wanted or any other adjective but it's a line very special for many.

What I brought is something that was never shown that is the progress of development of the line.

We had all the molds of the MOTU line.

The first thing we did was made a stock about components like molds, masks,

So we could start working with that. We started developing the main character.

And we realized that it was very similar to the MOTU line, and we didn't want that.

Does someone know what is on the center of the earth? Of course, the majority says magma.

For the little ones there's no magma, for them there's a green monster that lives in the center of the earth.

That green monster is member of a group.

Like the two groups that fight in the center of the earth without knowing

that there's something in the exterior.

That's why these two groups were created, on one hand the "Arachnids" and on the other the "Escorpious".

On a battle came out a beam of light and that's how they found out about the exterior.

So they invaded the exterior. By having that story we started working on the art of Fuerza T.

We continued modifying the main character that is the leader of the group of the Earth's defenders.

But it still looked very similar to He-Man.

We added components like the fist and we started playing and trying with different colors.

That's why we painted his hair green!

The goatie beard was added to the sculpture it was not just painted

When we started working we had this drawings; this is He-Man, and this does not look like a new line.

There is when the hair starts having more color.

And little by little it starts having more shape.

That is the green monster that lives on the center of the earth.

We started drawing both groups but it was before developing the story.

We though on using Skeletor and Hordak as evil characters

These were meant to be in the packaging at the beginning

We also started modifying the characters.

Always using the MOTU mold that we already had.

Another evil character.

On the begging all the character had a mark on their chest.

That was weather a spider or a scorpion to identify which group they belonged to.

Those marks glow in the dark because in the center of the earth is full of darkness

and they had to identify each other, so the ink glow in the dark.

This is one of the last development in which we only had six characters, but we thought about having eight.

If you see Platino that is the first character from the left, hi is blonde, he has no longer green hair.

That's the last development.

That's the first card prototype, with He-Man and Skeleton.

But it was the same as MOTU

With the world exploding because of the fight between both groups in the interior.

Change of colors.

When our designer presented us this, we thought that it only looked like a new MOTU pack.

It was a bit different but not the the thing we were looking for.

There we hurry to differentiate the characters a little more but we still could see some MOTU.

And we didn't want a copy of that.

We started adding colors.

There we can see again the green monster that lives on the center of the earth.

But most importantly we can see Skeletor.

It's a figure that was planned for the first line but then it was planned for the second edition of Fuerza T.

The hoodie is red, the face is yellow, we have a prototype head at the display case.

And this was the ending result, that's what we were looking for.

Something that shows the difference between the essence of MOTU and the essence of Fuerza T.

And it shows what we wanted to show, that is the explosion of the center of the earth.

In a moment you are going to see the logo of Fuerza T

Just the eagle that was what was going to have marked on the chest the Earth's defenders.

My intention was to put it on the disc that Titano had, but because of the cost we decided not to put it.

-What we demanded to have is that we wanted to have quality but not previous approval of our products.

Why? Because of the time of launching. What happened was that we didn't needed previous approval.

The department decided this to have a good product-price relation so we added the claw.

-Thank you. And one last question. Mattel never complaint about Fuerza T?

-Yes. Yes it complaint about it. We had meetings between Mattel's lawyers and Top Toys lawyers.

What was the conclusion?

Mattel apologized saying they couldn't do anything because Fuerza T

Was something totally different and their copyright was avoided in Argentina.

-When Mattel's contract was broken because Mattel decided to open their importation office in Argentina.

We had many discussions. The person that Mattel sent to discuss this matter said that the contract.

Was made for Top Toys and not for Mattel and I said that he was right that it was made for Top Toys.

Virginia GOP donor Bob Heghman, a retired lawyer, filed a lawsuit Thursday against the

Republican National Committee and Virginia Republican Party.

This was an effort to recoup his donations after the GOP led Congress refused to repeal

and replace the curse of Obamacare.

Heghman states that the groups should force more pressure on congressional members to

finish health care reform or return campaign donations, as members of Congress have failed

to make their campaign promises come true.

The suit alleges that the Republican Party "has been engaged in a pattern of racketeering

which involves massive fraud perpetrated on Republican voters and contributors as well

as some Independents and Democrats," The Virginian-Pilot reported.

Heghman stated that organizations should keep the funds from members as a method to ensure

legislation being passed like promised.

"If the candidates don't deliver, it's incumbent on the RNC to go to the candidate

and say, 'You can't do this,'" he told the paper.

The defendants in the case include the RNC, the Republican Party of Virginia, Virginia's

two national GOP committee members and state party chairman John Whitbeck.

Heghman's Federal Election Commission records have disclosed that he gave $875 to New Hampshire's

GOP, but he refused to give to the RNC according to a Virginia newspaper.

The move follows the upper chamber failing to pass the motion to proceed on a watered-down

repeal bill last Friday.

GOP senators left for their August recess Thursday without a clear plan on how to move

forward on their repeal goals as a divide remains on a key number of areas.

He has a solid point.

There is no reason for this nonsense.

When a politician promises something on the campaign trail, they should be held accountable

for their failures.

Former FBI Agent Reveals Why Liberals In Congress Get Away With Leaking Classified Intel

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the FBI sent a word of warning to the leakers in the

White House.

He said that the DOJ is looking for ways to stop the media from publishing sensitive information.

The media disclosed that the DOJ refused to prosecute lawmakers who leaked classified

information, despite a recommendation from the FBI.

AG Sessions said Friday an annihilation of leakers, which will start, with a review of

the DOJ's policies of issuing subpoenas to news organizations that put out the sensitive

information.

"I have this message for our friends in the intelligence community–The Justice Department

is open for business, and I have this warning for potential leakers: Don't do it," Sessions

said.

During his press conference with Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, Sessions

said that the Justice Department, FBI and other official intelligence agencies will

reroute more funds for the investigations of government leaks and would put prosecuting

those that leak sensitive information along to the press or foreign officials as a top

priority.

Sessions said his Justice Department has already tripled leak investigations.

That is compared to the Obama Administration.

The FBI will create new counterintelligence unit to handle this kind of investigation.

"We respect the important role the press plays and we'll give them respect, but it's

not unlimited," Sessions said.

"They cannot place lives at risk with impunity.

We must balance the press' role in protecting our national security and the lives of those

who serve in the intelligence community, the Armed Forces and all law-abiding Americans."

This is very important.

These leakers are trying to derail the Trump agenda and the American people's agenda.

It's quite disturbing that it's going on for this long.

I guess that's it...

So our school does something called assessments.

And basically it's where you audition in front of the program director and others.

You audition in front of them and they place you into classes.

I did an acting assessment and a singing assessment.

And I think they went alright!

I was definitely nervous.

And I guess that's what I want to share with you guys.

So I have this huge fear of auditioning.

Like just something happens, I don't know what, but it's horrible.

I get super shaky and my acting isn't as good as it should be.

The positive side to that is, I know that it takes time to get into the habit of auditioning.

Get into the habit of being in front of the camera while the pressure's on.

I just wanted to touch on that because I know a lot of people who are I guess, going into

acting, may have the same problme as that.

Yea i just want to let you guys know that it happens.

This channel's gonna go for a long time, I'm almost positive because this journey's gonna

take a long time.

MY ART FOR AUGUST! Sketchbook Update #7 [August 2017 Artwork Tour] - Duration: 18:31.

Hi there it's good to see you again.

I am back with another sketchbook update this time for August.

So make sure you go check out my previous sketchbook updates I do one every single month.

And I will leave a link in the description

To Mini's video where she will also show you her artwork for August.

But here's my artwork for August, and this is a little bit more messier than my regular sketchbook updates

Just because in this one I was using my entire sketchbook and trying to fill up my whole sketchbook

Which is why I have drawings scattered everywhere around the book

but first up

I will show you this cause I only just remembered that I have this.

I was starting to draw a picture of me, Midnight on the front cover of this book

And I wanted to try out my new opaque white pen with drawing the face

But it didn't quite work out as I had hoped, but I will finish this some time, but it's kind of half finished now

This is a realistic face study, which kind of looks more Disney

I think but I used a reference by the great photographer M0thArt

Who used to be on Deviant art and I used to follow her on Deviant art... or him?

But they've deactivated their account now for some reason

And I don't know why but it's it's a shame because I really liked their photography

And I'm not usually one for photography, but anyway

This is a face I drew from a photo that they took

Just for reference, and I really like how it turned out

But I think the lips might be a bit big so that's an old drawing here

So here is another

Sketch and I had this kind of half-finished for a really long time, and I just wanted to try practicing some faces

I don't like that face as much but I do like this face. I think that worked out quite well, this one here.

And here I try drawing a profile face, but I don't think that worked out as well

I'm still not great at drawing faces side on. I'm more better at drawing faces

Front on or from a side angle like that not from straight side angle, so yeah

And here was some eyes because I love drawing eyes. Eyes are my favourite thing to draw.

and I was trying to draw anime eyes in a more realistic way but

These are just kind of sketches, so I used some references for these as well just for practice not for this one

I kind of use references for these ones

And when I was trying to make anime eyes into realistic eyes

And on the other side. I have some facial studies, so here's a girl face

This is based off my OC Alix from my manga project Reflections Through Time

And I was also trying some male faces

But I don't really like them that much I messed up on them a lot his face is obviously too wide

And that one just looks weird

So yeah, I messed up a bit on these ones, but I just wanted to

Practice some more male faces because I don't usually draw them that much

Here are some

Realistic side faces because as I mentioned before

I'm not really good at drawing faces side on so I wanted to practice it and

I really like how this girl's face turned out. I think it looks really quite pretty though

I still don't know how to draw it without

References because this is also a referenced picture

but

So that's something I still need to practice on it's really just the size of the nose and the lips I can kind of draw

the eyes, but it's about the sizing I think and

here's a male face and

It looks a little creepy

It actually looks a lot like Edward from Twilight

um

kind of I guess, but it's not very good I

Still have a lot to work on with these I do like the cross-hatching shading though, I think that looks nice

Although I still quite like these they're interesting yeah, and here are some building studies. I guess

So I've got some more 19th century houses here. This is just a 19th century building

Because for those who don't know my manga project is actually set in the 19th century for most of the story

So it has got a lot of modern-day stuff, but a lot of it is also set in 19th century

in nineteenth-century time

So that's why I have a lot of buildings, and I do a lot of practice

This is the main house from the story, so I was just giving a little sketch of that

Of course the ones in the story are a lot neater than this that's just another practice there this house down here is

a modern day house, so I've got the driveway and

Ignore that car, that car's not good

so yeah

Here are some male muscle studies, which look really awkward, so

Yeah, they were previous

Yeah and

of course these were referenced as well, but I don't really like drawing muscles, so it's my first time drawing them and

They look really weird

You guys have seen these sketches before, but I've added a bit more to them

So here's this original style which I was using the practice another style

So I ended up trying to draw the same character in my own style along this odd style

And I feel like it's a lot better

The proportions are a bit wrong with though, but as I said, it's just a sketch

I do like this one a lot better though. I think I think this sketch here looks really nice

That I really like during this style of clothing so that's probably why?

And these are some old drawings again

Here's a little picture when I was practicing during TVs and

That was the start of another one that I didn't finish it, but here is chibi me or chibi Midnight holding up a paintbrush

and I think this is really cute, but of course there's still things that are out of proportion here I

Can't play a few drawings here

so here are some leg studies, so I've got some genes here and some girl legs and

Some side on legs lots and lots of legs here I

Think I like the drawing of the jeans the best and nice

That's the back of someone's legs the side of someone's legs just in general. It's lots of legs

This is nothing much, but I was practicing this from a tutorial on Divina about perspective and using shapes

So yeah, that's why I've got this odd, shape here because in the in the tutorial they said try drawing some circles

with different sizes so and then name them one two three four five and six and

Then try and connect them in perspective, and yeah, I messed up, but there's nothing

And this is a sketch I'm not very proud of but I want to redraw it sometime because

It had a good potential to go really well

it was a gender bend of my character and my friend Rim Draw's character together, but

I made a mistake

I made a grave mistake

So yeah, that's something I want to finish sometime because I think it would turn out really good

Okay here we've got all new stuff now.

So here here is kind of a height chart of the characters from my manga projects

Which I said as I said before is called reflections through time, and that's a project. I've been working on since I was about

12 or 13

But I've only really started taking the project really seriously since I was

16 I'm 17 now, so

So I've got all the characters lined up here, but obviously it's not quite finished yet

I've only done free characters here

so this is Martha and Frederick and Annabelle and

I'll give you more details about all of these characters sometime in the future when the manga is closer to completion

Though you guys probably know Annabelle a bit more because I've drawn her a few times in my art

And you guys

Probably saw these poses already in my recent prose tutorial if you haven't seen that tutorial

Please go and check that out. I'll leave a link in the description

But here are all the poses that are used in that tutorial and this was just a sketch I did

So that I would have an idea of all the poses I would show on the tutorial

And I drew them a lot neater in that tutorial

But I got a bit mixed up halfway with which pose came next but please go and check it out

I put a lot of effort into that tutorial

And here is something I drew to the practice perspective

And these were more

really bad perspective practices

Especially this one. I don't know what that is supposed to be but it looks odd. That's a little better over the legs of off

And by that point I just get move up and I just tried to do something normal

Here's some male faces

So this one I was trying to be inspired by Kaname Kuran from Vampire Knight who the manga

there is drawn by one of my favorite artists Matsuri Hino and

I really liked the way she draws males, so I was trying to practice during that and it didn't go too

Well because I'm not very good at drawing in that style

the that was one I tried to draw in my style, but I was going through a bit of art block at the time I

Put some sticky notes here because I didn't like the drawings underneath as you can see that looks weird

So I'm covering it up with

So yeah nothing much to say about those

This was the start of something I was inking but again. I have not finished it

I have a lot of unfinished stuff in this sketchbook

This is one of them, and I was planning on making it all spooky

I was just gonna ink in there

But then I became worried that I would use up all my inking pens

because I'm trying to save those for that giant canvas art that I've been drawing that you guys saw my coloring update to

Here is some manga style art that I was going to use in a

How-to ink man key tutorial video not know I wasn't Hannah

Ink it was going to be traditional manga in King versus digital main kinking

But I didn't like how this drawing was turning out especially this face here

because that's me there and that was going to be Momo my other character and

Felt like I'm messed up on it, so I didn't really want to show it in the video

But I thought I would share it with you guys today in this sketchbook update

but I probably will make the manga video solos some other time with maybe a different drawings, but

Because this I like this drawing you that I think that's nice just that

that alone

But I think I messed up on this caster. So maybe if it was midnight alone. Maybe that would be right fine

Here are some more male face studies, and I do plan on drawing males a lot more I

Do plan on drawing males a lot more just because I need to practice drawing their faces?

And I don't draw them as much as I do with female characters, so that's why they're not as good. I'm not

Proud of that one that one doesn't look very good though when I was trying to make a look more mature

By moving the eyes up, but I think it would be better if I moved the eyes down a bit

The one I was trying to make look serious, but it looks more like his either about sneeze

Or he is trying really hard to read something and squinting because he can't read it

Which is not what I in had intended. I intended a nice serious look but

This one's also a failed attempts at

A drawing so I was trying to draw it more

Not sidon, but a more free quarter view

But the nose is way too big and it kind of looks like he's about to sneeze like he's going ha

And he's about to go

Sneezing so that's another fail there

But hey everyone has to start somewhere right and it's been a while since I've drawn males like this so

This was something referenced

Which I think I messed it up a bit with the hand and it probably would have been better if I just tried to ring

It myself and this last one here. I do like this one

It's kind of an angry male character, but he's kind of blushing at the same time, so he's kind of

Tsundere I guess like

Angry that the female character doesn't notice him or something

And I like that expression. I like drawing interesting expressions

Here are some couple sketches, so here's a goat male and female female and male character together

Um he is

cute hug thing

When it goes kind of sad, and he's like it's okay, it's okay

And in this picture, I imagined he kind of wrapped the stuff he kind of wrapped the scarf around her to comfort her and

He's just like he's just like yeah the nightmares are gone

interesting no no mine is

Here is another perspective practice, and I'm a bit more proud of this one

It is Annabelle, but her face doesn't look like an idol

And she's reaching for an apple in the trees

So I do think this one's too bad it could be worse I

Find it really hard to draw hands in perspective especially with the fingernails and everything like that

This was the start of a sketch of Annabelle maybe walking through the town, but it didn't I

Had imagined something else and when I sketched it down. It didn't look quite. How I imagined

With her hair braided, but I think her hair is too long in this one because her hair is quite short

It's probably isn't long enough in his book. It's her with a bit more longer hair

Scratch Melody Art - Tranquility - Duration: 3:56.

Hi! I'm Scratch Melody, and welcome to the making of "Tranquility"

Before starting this digital drawing, I made a sketch in a notebook while I was bored.

Making sketches helps a lot to make shapes in the digital version of drawings.

Although ... my sketches are pretty disastrous.

So I got used to guiding me from the sketches to ARRANGE the forms, not to make them.

It's pretty much copy, paste and edit.

I only drew Cream in the sketch, but in my mind, there was obviously more than that.

Perhaps it is more practical to include everything in the sketch, but I was somewhat careless, so from here I just started to improvise.

I searched for some references and adjusted the composition so that the elements of my idea fit properly.

Also, I used a sprite of angel island to kinda make a "preview" of how would be the result.

In the original game (Sonic & Knuckles) Sky Sanctuary is filled with badniks and such.

But I wanted to represent Sky Sanctuary as after Sonic got through it.

So, with the badniks destroyed, Sky Sanctuary became again the quiet and solitary floating ruins.

To represent the safety, I chose Cream as the character, an innocent girl, and also drew a tree.

Then I started drawing the background. I took advantage of the Angel Island's original sprite to draw it.

And now that the linework is finished, it's color time!

Ah, yeah. The tree was originally going to have pink leaves, but it didn't fit with the colors scheme.

So I just left it green.

However, I'll probably recycle the idea in the future, in another way.

If have you watched others of my speedpaints then you must know about this trick.

This time, instead of clouds above the character, they're below. That's why I make the clouds thicker.

The blur brush is good here.

Finally, one of my favourite things to do: Starry skies!

I do a lot of "Try and Error" to see the possible results.

And after finding the result that I like, I edit the rest to match the shading.

It's interesting to see how's everything is affected by the light.

By the way, a few seconds ago I used a Fanart of Cream to get some of the colors.

Now I'm just putting the final touches.

Shades with colors and lighting stuff... I like them a lot, I think they're beautiful.

And after doing that, I just apply external filters + free resources and that's it!

What's In My Gym Bag? - Duration: 10:58.

Hello!

Beautiful people, of the internet.

My name is Sidney, and welcome to my channel!

So, today I am going to be doing a "What's in my Gym Bag."

Because girls do,like, what's in my purse, and...

I don't really...

Well I do carry a purse but that would be boring and there would just be a bunch of

receipts and trash, honestly.

So, we are going to do what's in my gym bag.

So, this is my gym bag, umm, it's just a regular duffle bag I carry around.

I sometimes use a different one that's pink, but, doesn't really matter I just use a duffle

bag, some people use backpacks but...I use a duffle bag.

Let's see, what's inside!

Alright, so, i don't know...

What do I show you first?

Umm, I guess this can be first.

This is just a regular shaker bottle that I carry around, I usually carry around an

empty shaker bottle in case I need to make a protein shake or drink my BCAAs and Creatine,

mmm, that's about it.

So, I carry around this little... well... this one says vegan.

Umm, but, yeah, I usually carry around a shaker bottle.

And then, I have, speaking of shaker bottle...

So, I have my Creatine (vegan of course).

I have...

I should not put those there...

I have my BCAAs, these ones are vegan.

They are the Xtend Free BCAAs in strawberry kiwi flavor, pretty good!

And then, let's see what else I have in here.

So, I have my journal and a pencil, I don't use this very often, to be totally honest.

There is lots of doodles in here mostly.

But, umm, sometimes I'll like write down my workout and I'll look at this, but usually

I just kind of go with the flow and do whatever I am doing that day.

So, this is not really needed and I should probably take it out of my gym bag.

It has, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer stickers on it.

Alright... next up.

I carry my running shoes in here because usually I go to the gym in my, like, flat shoes.

I wear Vans or Converse, I do have a pair of Converse, but I mostly wear Vans, just

because thats what I squat and deadlift in, stuff like that.

I don't have fancy squat shoes yet.

These are just my running shoes, these are, Merrell... what are they called?

Umm, I don't know, I don't know what the name of the shoes are, but I like the color, and

they are pretty nifty!

Moving on!

I also have, see I have a bunch of stuff in here that I really don't use that often.

I don't even know why it's in here.

Just in case?

I'm a just in case kind of girl... (giggle) what?

So, I have these.

These are knee wraps, I don't use them very often.

I got them because I had a quad injury, and then I was getting back into squatting and

doing legs and stuff and so I wanted to have some extra support when I was healing and

stuff like that.

But, I am fully healed now and I am stronger now and I don't really need these.

Maybe if I am doing super heavy squats, I will use these?

But I also have something else for those, maybe not.

I don't know.

I have, so, I have those sleeves snd then I have these wraps.

Umm, I can show a clip on how to use them here.

They have flowers on them and I really like it, super girly.

So, I have my knee sleeves and I have these, both of which, I don't really use that often.

These are only used if I am squatting really heavy, and even then, I think I've used these

once since I got them.

I got them a couple months ago.

Let's see, I also have my wrist wraps.

These are from Tuffwraps.com.

10 out of 10 recommend.

They don't have that, okay so, I don't know about you guys, but I don't like that thumb

loopy thing that are on most wrist wraps.

So these ones, all you do it you go like this, you go back and it tightens, and then you

wrap it around your wrist and there is not thumb loopy.

So, I really like these, umm, they are called, Villain wraps.

I don't know if that's just the, like, kind that I got, or what.

These come in handy for low-bar squats and benching obviously, or and like heavy stuff

on your wrists.

I kind of need my wrists, I don't know about you guys.

So... these are kind of handy for that.

I really like them.

Cliche fitness girl here, I have my bag of resistance bands.

I just got these at, like, Dick's Sporting Goods.

There is three of them.

So, I use these just to like activate specific muscle groups and sometimes for mobility work

and stuff like that.

I never like do one workout solely with resistance bands.

If you want to do that, it's totally up to you, but I don't do that.

But I have these, and they come in handy, I really only use the purple one, but I have

two others, just in case.

And, what else do I have in here...

A pair of socks to go with my tennis shoes.

A pair of goggles, oops, and headphones, geez.

A pair of goggles if I want to go swimming.

Usually if I go swimming I bring a lot of other stuff with me, like a towel, my swim

suit, umm, some body wash (actually I might have that in here still) stuff to like wash

off afterwards because I am slightly allergic to chlorine and so I need to like actually

wash off after I swim.

But I do enjoy swimming now and then, so my goggles are still in here in case I feel like

swimming but I don't have any other swimming stuff in here so I don't know why these are

in here.

Should be with my other swimming stuff, whatever.

And then, you guys already saw these becasue they were tangled with my goggles, but these

are my headphones.

Yo girl is poor and does not wear Beats headphones, but these are pretty nice.

They are just, I don't even know what brand they are...

Focus 500?

I don't know if that's actually the brand it might just, I don't know.

But, these are some nice wireless headphones that I use.

I used to use those ones that come with your iphone for a really long time, but then they

broke.

So, I use these now.

They are pretty naf-niffy.

Naffty?

Nifty!

Oh, I have this, really I have this from when I went on vacation, and I never used it because

I am bad about drinking protein shakes, but I have this bag of protein and there is a

little scoop in there.

So, if I ever need to make a protein shake then I will just scoop the scoop into the

shaker bottle and make a protein shake.

My gym lock, oh god, my gym lock.

Pretty self explanatory.

Andddd, umm, I have a Go Macro bar.

These, if you have not tried these, these are the best freakin, excuse my nails ew gross,

umm, these are the best vegan protein bars.

And the macros aren't really bad on it.

It just has a bunch of organic stuff, this one has 8 grams of fat, 38 grams of carbs,

that's kind of high, and 9, oh wait, 10 grams of protein.

So, not too bad, and they taste pretty good.

These ones are my fav!

I actually haven't tried this kind, this is sunflower butter and chocolate.

But the peanut butter one, that's my jam.

I kind of want to eat this now...

Mmhmm, mmhmm, pretty good.

Sorry, I'm hungry.

Okay!

Side pocket.

This is like my toiletries and stuff I think, I don't even know whats in here.

Body wash, Hempz pure herbal extracts Vanilla Plum, relaxing herbal body wash.

So there is that.

I've got, two types of deodorant in here.

I've got, two types of gum in here.

I've got tissues, that have Spider Man on them.

Spider Man tissues.

And some floss, you never know when you'll need floss.

And some chapstick, you always need chapstick.

And that is everything in, my, gym, bag!
