So growing up, my life was
I thought it was pretty normal
but it wasn't till later on
in my life that I realised that
a lot of the stuff that was going on wasn't.
Born into a gang family
with my father being the president of the Auckland Mongrel Mob.
A lot of people's parents are,
have trades such as carpentry and plumbing,
well my father's
was a bank robber.
When you're in that environment
and you're stuck at the bottom it's hard to think that
you're ever going to get out of that lifestyle
and sometimes you think maybe I should just
go and sell some drugs, or rob a bank or something.
You know all that ever really does is tear families apart.
My uncle's daughter committed suicide
while he was doing all these things.
You know you do these things to give your kids nice stuff,
uh material things but all
they really want is your time
but you can't give them that.
You know you can have warehouses full of cars
which we did, all the money in the world but
you can never get back the life of your daughter
I was trying to chase the rugby league dream,
I really wanted to be um a rugby league star
and I worked really hard in school and I just
didn't like being poor
and I worked really hard to try and
get out of that lifestyle.
It's different when your father goes to jail
when you're 5 you don't really understand
so but when he goes to jail when you're
20 you definitely understand and you understand
the repercussions and the consequences
for your family, for your mum and your sisters
and I just got really angry
sort of acted out and I quit uni,
I quit my job and I started
living with my cousins selling tinnies
and just started living a really bad lifestyle
and one night I got really drunk
and stabbed myself and that's um
that's what happened.
But that's what alcohol can do
so that's why I don't drink anymore
because nothing good really comes from it
and I was just very lucky that it didn't hit anything major.
But it was a wakeup call.
Sitting on the back doorstep of this tinnie
house and thinking "man how did my life
end up this way" you know
and you're stuck in a rut and for a lot of people it's hard
to get out of.
It's hard for everyone to get out of that rut
you're stuck in it.
But you just have to work really hard
and you have to want to get out of it.
The lifestyle is glamourized
and kids wanna be that with the gold chain
and all the money
and all the girls and the car.
When you get caught and you go to jail,
none of those people come and visit you, none of
those people feed your family,
that part of it's never shown, that part of the lifestyle
it's only the glamourous sides shown.
I didn't go down the same path
as my family did when I was young
but I went down it when I was older.
It all came to head when I had a gun pointed
at my head you know over
um living a bad lifestyle
with drugs and alcohol.
I should definitely be in jail or dead,
one of the two
always maintain that so um because
I'm not, I feel like I'm blessed
and I need to be able to, if people ask I'm going
to share my story
to hopefully help others not go down that same path.
So now uh I just dedicate my life to helping people.
I run community boot camps
all across South and West Auckland,
spreadin g out to Hamilton
pretty much just wanna spread the BBM movement
so I call it Buttabean Motivation
and its just a uh its more than a boot camp,
it helping people not just with physical fitness but
mental fitness
through all their struggles in life, alcohol, drugs.
You know we're probably helping at our boot camp
close to 1000 people a week all across
New Zealand.
What I say is no excuses,
it's my mantra my life is no excuses.
Don't let where you come from
and your situation that you're in
be an excuse for you to just
go down that same path, break the cycle.
You can do it, don't let anyone tell you
that you can't get out of the gutter.
Don't ever let anyone tell you
that you're just going to become a drug dealer
or become an alcoholic that beats your wife
or does stupid stuff.
You can do anything that you put your mind
to if you work hard.
It's not easy, no ones going to give it to you.
You have to be willing to put the hard work in
and that's all it is
anything is possible
with hard work.

As we followed Enya and left the forest, we ran into Touka, who instantly jumped at me.

Touka: I'll give that order, so Master and Enya-chan, get your injuries treated.

[How To] Record your iPhone Screen in HD (With/Without IOS 11) - Duration: 3:11.
Hey Everyone & Welcome to Reliable Tech Today I'm going to show you how you can record
your I-Phone screen without having IOS 11 As you might know IOS 11 is coming up with
a built in Screen Recording feature.
However not every device out their is compatible with IOS 11.
So if your devices not compatible with IOS 11 or you just don't want to get IOS 11 as
you might now have enough space their is another way, by which you can record your I-Phone
Screen.
Plus you don't need any additional software and this method will also work if you have
IOS 11 So without wasting anymore time lets get to
it…
So first before we start, we need few things A Mac
Lighting USB Cable and of course an i-Phone
So the first step is to connect the lighting cable.
So the USB end to the USB port on your Mac and the other lightning end on to your i-Phone
Basically we are done with the work on the i-Phone Side.
Now, on your Mac open Quick Time Player.
You can do that 3 different Ways.
First, by asking Siri.
Second, by using Spotlight or third by actually going into applications or launchpad to open
Quicktime Player After Quicktime is opened, what you would
want to do is go in Files and Click on New Movie Recording.
The movie Recording player will open and what you want to do is click on to the arrow rite
beside the RED recording button.
When the pop up appears click on to the box which says your i-Phone Name under the Camera
Section Once thats done, you are basically ready to
record your i-Phone Screen.
Turn on your I-Phone and when you are ready hit the red dot to start recording.
After you are done with your recording to stop, hit the button with the square in it
(Which basically means stop) Now you can go in file and then Save to save
your recording or use the keyboard shortcut Command + S to save your file and then chose
a location and a name to save your recording with
However, if you are not satisfied with your recording, you can start another recording
and delete this one.
All you are going to do is click onto the cross or the red dot on the top left corner
and then press delete.
Now you can start your recording again by going in file and then movie recording.

First of all, I am really sorry for footage you just saw
I thought a lot about it before I put it in the video
But at the end it's something that just happens, and something I experience for the second time since I turned vegan.
This is what happens every year on the eid al adha
Millions of animals are killed, millions of animals are eaten
It's something very sad for me and very emotional
because kids get to know that it's normal to kill an animal, cook it and eat it and that animals have no value.
I don't want to talk about religion because it's a very sensitive topic
I have already talked about religion in some of my videos and the comments I received weren't good.
But, I am going to talk about religion which is Veganism and Islam.
I am not going to say that something is halal or haram, because I don't want to.
In every case you'll find thousands of arguments for or against something.
What I want to talk about today is Islam's point of view concerning veganism and vegetarianism.
There are some information that I want to share with you. It's up to you to analyse it and take it as you wish.
The first information is that the prophet was used to not eat meat for several months.
He was consuming milk, but no meat.
People were asking him what he was eating and he said that he eats dates because they are healthy etc.
Umar Al Khattab said "Beware of meat. It has addictiveness like the addictiveness of wine"
So he compared meat to wine and he was one of the people that said "be aware of two whites, salt and sugar"
And he was known for his very healthy diet
There is another Islamic scholar from the USA called Hamza Yusuf, he's known there but I don't know wheather he's famous in the arabic world as well or not
Pieces of information, as I said, it's up to you to take them and analyse them the way you want to.
Something I said, I say and I will always say until the end of the world
To the people that say that vegetarianism and veganism are haram (forbidden in Islam) because I forbid something that the religion allows
First of all I am not allowing nor forbidding, I just say that I renounce sthg that is supposed to be allowed, it's a personal choice
Although if it is a personal choice is a very long discussion
But I just renounced sthg that is supposed to be allowed, that doesn't mean that I am saying that it is forbidden!
The religion allows to travel to Honolulu but I didn't go to Honolulu for several reasons and I might have money to go there
at the end it doesn't mean that it's haram not to go to Honolulu
It's halal to eat lettuce, but I don't like lettuce...Where's the haram part?
No, I love lettuce by the way and you should eat lettuce!
At the end when I say that I am vegan or vegetarian and I don't eat animal products and I have my reasons
That doesn't mean that I am saying that it's haram to eat animal products and it doesn't mean that veganism is haram.
It's not haram means that it's halal
I didn't want to use these words but I am going to say it anyway
Veganism and vegetarianism are not haram, because renouncing to sthg halal -for me- is not haram
How I spent the day of the Eid (feast)
For breakfast I had Bsisa, which is a mixture of roasted and grounded cereals, oil, sugar and nuts
With that I had an arabic coffee, which also called turkish coffee
With figs which are my favorite fruit
For lunch, while my family was eating grilled meat
I made veggie burgers made out of lentils
I cooked some lentils and mixed them with carrots, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, romary and... you can put whatever you want.
I mixed them very well and then I put some flour until I reached a good consistency
And then I fried them with a little bit of oil
With that I made some regular Hummus with Tahini
And the vegetables you saw at the beginning of the video
As for the sauce you saw there it's simply oil mixed with spiced
I brushed the vegetables with it and grilled them
