Quick selection tool and Magic wand tool (Lesson 11) - Duration: 6:42.

Hello viewers! I am Rakib. In this lesson, I will show you the use of Quick selection tool and

Magic wand tool.

Let's select the quick selection tool from here and

select any object from the background you will just

Choose this tool and increase its brush from here

like this.

You can also increase or decrease the diameter of this tool from the square brackets from your keyboard.

Right square bracket to increase or the left square bracket to decrease its diameter and

when it's

done, then we will just

Drag like this to define the edges.

As you can see, within the few seconds

We just got our

selection.

But we have some issues with this selection. We have to fix it.

To do that we will just

Click here. Or also you can

when it has the plus sign, you can hold Alt from your keyboard and

when it shows the negative sign, you can just

Drag to redefine the edges like this.

So when it goes inside then we will again just

releasing the Alt we will just again drag like this to

Make the adjustment again.

We'll also correct these areas holding the Alt

and

Here is an issue. We will make it smaller and a little bit more and

Hold Alt from your keyboard and drag here.

So we have some areas inside, we will again releasing the Alt from our keyboard, we will again

Drag from here to redefine the edge like this.

Let's correct this one.

So, I think that's quite good, so

after selecting like this, we can

copy this, so now you can use this object

anywhere you want. It doesn't contain any background or anything. So in this way, you can make this kind of

selection and use them anywhere you want.

Also, if you want it in a new canvas,

Then you can just click this layer, and when the selection is done again

You will press

ctrl shift C from your keyboard. That copied

this shape as well as it copied the dimension currently, it's

Containing. So if we press ctrl N from our keyboard; that are the width and height that it contains.

If we click OK and

Paste it here, then you can see it just

fits here, that's because of the command ctrl shift C that copies your

areas as well as the

dimension of that

Object or element. You can also

Uncheck this background, and you can save it as a PNG

Image to use it later.

So that's for the quick solution tool. Let's see the Magic wand tool

in this new document.

So we have another image here, and we have

an uniform background and

the elements it contains have perfect edges that separates them from the background.

So in those cases, you

Will just click on the background and you can see within a second you got a great selection like this.

You can also fix these issues

just going to the quick selection tool.

We will

correct this like before

hold Alt

then

redefine the edges

like this,

Let's correct here.

So, let's consider it is done and

As you can see, currently we have selected the entire background

but if we press Ctrl shift I

From our keyboard that will make the inverse selection that means currently it

Selected everything excepting the background that was selected previously.

So in this way, you can make inverse selection of any selection that you have.

Let's correct here.

If we make another copy like this,

We can also

press Ctrl T and go to Edit, Transform,

Flip Vertical, then we can use it

like this.

So in this way, you can

make selections

using this Quick selection and

Magic wand tool; it works like a magic and in some cases these tools will not

give you 100% accurate results. So in those cases,

you will use Pen tool to make everything manually and

In the next lesson, we will see that. So thanks for watching this video. Hope to see you guys in the next lessons.

Lauren: Can you go see if your sister is ready?

Luka: Uh, yeah. Sure.

Lauren: Luka?

Lauren: You guys are gonna be okay.

Luka: So will you.

*Let's pretend we hear knocks*

Luka: Lucia! Are you almost ready?

Luka: I swear to God, if you're asleep!

Lucia: Do you care to finish that threat?

Luka: You are going to...

Luka: Cover them up right?

Lucia: Oh God, you sound like mom!

Luka: Well what else am I supposed to say?

Luka: You look like a wet poodle?

Luka: Because you do.

Lucia: And you look like a sheepdog long overdue for the groomers so I guess we're even.

Luka: We'll be leaving for the church in about 20 minutes.

Lucia: I'll be ready by then, don't worry.

Lauren: Is she almost ready?

Luka: Uh yeah.

Lauren: Good.

Luka: Mom...

Luka: It's okay...

Lauren: I just can't believe he's gone!

Luka: I-I know...

Luka: Aren't you coming downstairs?

Lucia: You know I don't do well with crowds.

Luka: It's only family.

Lucia: Family that only comes around on special occasions to brag about themselves.

Lucia: They might as well be strangers.

Lucia: I'm sorry Luka, I'm just not interested in being sobbed over.

Lucia: Or being told stories about dad I've heard a million times before.

Luka: No I get that.

Luka: I'll be downstairs if you need me.

Lucia: Uh wait!

Lucia: Could you bring me food?

Luka: Anything but tuna, right?

Lucia: You know me so well.

Lauren: I'm so glad today is over with…

Luka: You're telling me...

Lucia: So, we made it through the day!

Lauren: How many times do I have to tell you to cover up when you're coming downstairs?

Lucia: Why? Is someone here?

Lauren: No, but you didn't know that.

Lucia: I'm going to school tomorrow.

Lauren: What? Are you sure?

Lucia: Finals are next week and I'd like to soak in as much review as I can.

Lauren: And how are you planning on getting there?

Lucia: I can catch the bus up the street, no big deal.

Luka: N-no, that's okay. I'll drive.

Luka: I'm fine to go back tomorrow too.

Lucia: Luka, you don't have--

Luka: I'm ready, trust me.

Luka: Studying for finals will help me get my mind off of things anyway.

Luka: I think I'm going to call it a night.

Luka: You going to be alright, Mom?

Lauren: I'll be fine. I'm going to go to bed soon anyway.

Lauren: Love you both.

Luka and Lucia: Love you too.

Lauren: Goodnight.

Lucia: Are you okay?

Luka: Hey...

Lucia: Reality finally hit you, huh?

Luka: It hit me back when the doctor gave us the news I was just--

Lucia: Trying to stay strong for mom, I got you.

Lucia: Do you need to talk about it?

Lucia: Or maybe something else?

Lucia: Or just stand there looking like you're about to have a stroke.

Lucia: It's okay. We're gonna get through this.

Luka: Are you alright?

Luka: Lucia?

Lucia: You wanna hang out in my room for a bit?

Luka: Alright...

Luka: What were you doing coming into my room anyway?

Lucia: I sensed your BRAT signal.

Luka: BRAT signal?

Lucia: Brother requires assistance totally?

Luka: The "totally" doesn't make any sense.

Lucia: I though it sounded better then bra signal.

Luka: Touche.

Luka: You don't need to hold back with me either you know…

Lucia: I don't...

Lucia: Hold back, I mean.

Luka: You miss dad too, right?

Lucia: In my own way, sure.

Luka: What do you mean by that?

Lucia: Don't ruin the moment...

Luka: Have you been reading those cheesy romance novels with a shit ton of typos again?

Lucia: Oh I'm sorry, don't luin the koment

Luka: You're not funny.

Lucia: And you wouldn't know funny if it hit you in the head!

Learn 8 KICK Phrasal Verbs in English: "kick back", "kick out", "kick up"... - Duration: 10:11.

Hi.

Welcome to www.engvid.com.

I'm Adam.

In today's video we're going to look at another set of phrasal verbs.

Now, just as a reminder: What is a phrasal verb?

A phrasal verb is a combination of a verb and a preposition: "in", "on", "at", "off",

etc. and the combination usually makes other meanings than the two words themselves.

Now, some phrasal verbs obviously have more than one meaning, so we're going to look at

the different meanings with the verb "kick".

For example: "kick in", "kick back", "kick out", "kick off", "kick about" or "kick around",

"kick up", and "kick over".

Now, some of these will have more than one meaning, some will just have the one meaning.

Some of these can also be joined to make a noun, and we're going to look at that as well.

So we're going to start with "kick in".

A few meanings to "kick in".

The more literal one, like takes the verb "kick" means to kick with your leg, so if

you kick something in, you're breaking it with your feet.

So the most common example is, like, police, they go into...

They want to go into an apartment or a house and arrest somebody, so they kick in the door.

They just break the door and they go in.

We can also say: "kick down" for the same meaning.

They kick down the door or they kick in the door, so physically break with your feet.

Another meaning of "kick" is basically take effect.

This is especially used when we're talking about drugs, when we're taking a pill.

So the doctor gave you a pill, maybe you have a really bad headache and you take a Tylenol

or an Advil, or Aspirin or whatever, and it doesn't work right away.

It takes a little time for the pill to kick in.

So basically to take effect, to start working.

So another meaning is start...

But usually a process.

Start a process.

So, now, we can also use this in other situations.

For example, a policy.

So the government decided to increase taxes, but they don't do it suddenly.

Okay?

Because a lot of people will not be ready for it, it will cause a lot of problems.

So they say: "Okay, starting in six months, we have a new policy where the tax will go

up by 1%."

So this policy will kick in on September 1st, for example, whenever that six months down

the road is.

So, "kick in" start or go into effect.

Okay?

Now, we can also use "kick in" to contribute.

So, we're going to have an office party.

Janice, the accountant, has a birthday and everybody wants to, you know, show her...

Show their appreciation for her hard work, so everybody's going to kick in five bucks,

and we collect all this money and we create a party for Janice.

Okay?

So, "kick in" basically means give, contribute to a pool.

So those are all the "kick ins".

Now, "kick back".

First of all, there's the literal one where you kick back.

Right?

So, to relax.

-"So what are you doing this weekend?"

-"Oh, nothing, just kicking back."

It means I'm sitting at home with my feet up on a table, and I'm just relaxing, doing nothing.

Another meaning of "kick back" is payment, is a type of payment, but usually it means a bribe.

Okay?

A bribe means you're paying somebody to do something for you.

The most common example that I can think of is doctors and pharmaceutical companies, the

companies that make the drugs.

So the doctor, all his patients come in and he says: "Oh, you need this prescription.

Here you go, go buy the pills.

Here, you need this prescription."

They don't need it.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, but some doctors just prescribe medicine for everybody

for everything.

Why?

Because the pharmacy, the pharmaceutical company gives the doctor a "kickback".

So this can be a noun as well.

A "kickback" or "kickbacks".

Okay?

It's a noun, it basically means a bribe, a payment for doing them a favour.

Okay?

So, to relax or to pay sort of underneath as a gift, as a bribe.

"To kick out", okay?

"To kick out" could be physical, means you take somebody and you kick them out the door.

So if you go to a club and you're not behaving very nicely, the bouncer, the big guys standing

at the door, they will take you and they will kick you out.

They will throw you out of the club.

But it doesn't have to be physical.

You could be in a band or in a team, or whatever, and your teammates or your bandmates have

a bit of a problem with you, it means they kick you out.

They expel you.

"Expel", usually use this word at school, if you do something bad at school, the school

will expel you, they will remove you.

So they will kick you out, it's a more slang approach to it.

And that's it, so basically a kick out physically or kick out, remove somebody, force them to

leave.

Now, before I get into "kick off", "kick out" and "kick off" can also mean the same thing,

means to remove.

But "kick off", you would kick somebody off a bus, or a plane, or a train.

So anything that you...

Basically, you get on the bus, you get into a car.

Right?

So anything that is "on", you can get kicked off of or kicked out of.

So, kicked off a bus, kicked out of the car, so remove.

So, again, so "kick off", basically remove from a bus, a train, whatever.

That's one meaning, that's the physical meaning.

Then there's also start.

"To kick something off" or to "kick things off" means to start something.

So, we're going to kick off this meeting with a little speech by Mr. Smith who wants to

let us know about something, an announcement.

So to...

We're going to kick it off, start.

In football, the game of American football, the game begins with a kickoff.

Okay?

So here, again, we use it as a noun.

"A kickoff" means they...

Somebody kicks the ball, it goes flying, the other guy catches it, and the game starts.

So, but it basically means start.

Okay.

"Kick about", "kick around", basically these two mean the same thing and are used mostly

in the same way, which is why I put them together.

In a very informal situation, this could mean discuss.

So, somebody...

Everybody will bring some ideas to the meeting and we're just going to kick them around,

kick them about, make sure everybody has their say, think about it, if it's good, if it's

bad, etc.

So, "kick around", it's informal discussion of something, of ideas usually.

We can also use it to talk about just spending

time a little bit aimlessly, not having any plans.

So, again: -"What are you doing this weekend?"

-"Oh, I'm just going to kick around with some friends.

I'm just going to kick about with some friends."

Well, we're going to go to a few clubs, a few bars, just look around, see what happens.

No real plans for this.

Now, "kick around" we can sometimes also use when we talk about, like, for example, bullying

somebody, to bully.

Like, it literally means to kick somebody, so to be a little bit physically aggressive

towards somebody.

So if you're kicking somebody around, you're treating them badly.

You could be physically treating them badly, it could also be verbally, or mentally, emotionally, etc.

More with "around", less with "about", but more or less the same idea.

"Kick up", so usually we kick up a fuss, kick up a fuss or kick up a storm, or kick up a

stink.

Phew, right?

That's a stink.

So, "kick up a stink", basically cause trouble.

It could also mean to cause pain.

So, some people they have children who do not take the word "No" very well, so the child

says: -"Oh, I want ice cream."

-"No.

You can't have ice cream until you have dinner", and this kid starts, you know, ranting and

raving, and screaming, and kicking the ground.

And basically if you think if there's a ground, and the kid starts kicking and screaming,

all the dust comes up.

Right?

So, "kick up a storm" basically means make trouble, cause trouble.

You can also "kick up" in terms of pain, so if I lift something heavy my back might kick

up, it means it might start hurting.

We also use the phrasal verb "act up".

"Act up" means give me trouble.

"Kick up" means it will give me a bit of pain.

Okay/

Actually, I forgot one.

Let me go back to "kick back".

"Kick back" is the same idea.

"Kick back" can mean to resist.

So, for example, if I own a factory and I tell all my employees that I'm going to have

to cut their hours and there's no more overtime pay, so they kick back, they...

Basically they resist this change or they revolt.

They don't like it, so they're going to start pushing back against me, the owner of the

thing.

And in this case we can also use "kickback" in terms of the resistance.

Right?

So, I made a new policy for the workers and there was a lot of kickback.

They revolted, a lot of them quit, some of them spoke about going on strike against my

new changes.

Okay, so I forgot that one.

And "kick over" is very simple.

You kick something and it falls over, so basically topple.

So, only the one meaning, very literal, kick with your leg, make something fall over.

Okay, and that's basically it for "kick".

I hope everybody has these clear.

If you have any questions about this...

About these, please go to www.engvid.com, there's a forum you can ask all the questions

you have.

There's also a quiz where you can practice using these phrasal verbs.

And that's it.

Elizabeth Peru's Latest Messages November 24-30, 2017 - Duration: 2:14.

Hello, I'm Elizabeth and right now there's a purification process underway.

Are you feeling it? Have you noticed throughout November, the

11 master month that you are changing and transforming from the inside out?

We're going deeper than we have all year because, as I've been saying to you each

week, this is a month of 'world service'. The 11 master energy asks

you to come out of the shadows and fully reveal yourself (to yourself) and then in

turn to the world around you. In this week's Tip-Off Global Energy Forecast

for November 24 to 30 2017, I've called it The Quantum Leap Issue because that's

exactly what I feel is happening, for so many of us in this final week of

November. This IS our trial run for 2018. Now don't let that scare you. Love it.

Because soul loves challenges and soul grows and becomes its most brilliant

beingness when we're extended way past our comfort zone. When we take that

quantum leap and the bridge appears, as soon as we step. I'm so looking forward

to helping you each day this week in The Tip-Off - extend yourself, take that leap

of faith (that quantum leap) and use this final week of November to really harness

the 11 energy. And prepare yourself for the magnificent opportunities coming

our way very soon in 2018. All right, I love you. Have a beautiful week. This

energy is very good for you. Thank you and I'll speak to you again soon...

BREAKING: Barack About To Disown Oldest Daughter After Who She's Caught With In SICK Leaked Video - Duration: 5:15.

President Barack Hussein Obama's daughter, Malia Obama, was caught on camera kissing

a "mystery man" at the annual Harvard versus Yale football game tailgate party this

past Saturday morning.

Like father, like daughter!

A very interesting video surfaced this week showing Malia wrapping her arms around a boy

and kissing him at the festivities outside the Yale Bowl.

It's not known who the man is but Malia certainly seems to be very into him.

In the video above Malia is seen wearing an oversized yellow puffer down style coat.

Along with white leggings, boots and a tan bucket hat with the Harvard 'H' embroidered

on the front of it.

The "mystery man" with Malia wore a black jacket, a red long-sleeved Harvard T-shirt,

black jeans and black sneakers.

Of course, this hasn't been the first time the first daughter has made headlines.

Via International Business Times:

Malia Obama Twerks At Lollapalooza: 5 Times First Daughters Have Been In The Spotlight

For Wrong Reasons

Malia Obama certainly had a great time at Lollapalooza this weekend.

This year, the eldest first daughter opted out of the Democratic National Convention

to attend the four-day-long music festival in Chicago.

The recent high school grad came under fire Saturday when a fellow attendee took a provocative

video of Obama at the Mac Miller performance.

She could be seen dancing and lifting her skirt to flash the audience below

However, the video, which is still making its rounds across the internet, is certainly

not the first time one of the Nation's first daughters has been in the spotlight for all

the wrong reasons.

From the Bush twins' infamous under-age drinking scandal to Chelsea Clinton's head-scratching

comment post-9/11, here are five moments first daughters got attention for all the wrong

reasons.

1.

In the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, Chelsea Clinton delivered a memorable quote

in an article she wrote for Talk Magazine.

Clinton was a student at Oxford University in London when she delivered this controversial

line, according to a New York Times article:

"Every day I encounter some sort of anti-American feeling," Clinton wrote.

"Over the summer, I thought I would seek out non-Americans as friends, just for diversity's

sake.

Now I find that I want to be around Americans – people who I know are thinking about our

country as much as I am."

Although the sentiment was there, Clinton was ridiculed for the remark.

2.

One of the most memorable first daughter moments was when the Bush twins, Jenna and Barbara

Bush, were cited for underage drinking at a restaurant in Texas in 2001.

The girls were 19-years-old and in their freshman year of college.

They had attempted to purchase alcohol with false identification, according to People.com.

3.

One of the most rebellious former first daughters might have been Ronald Reagan's daughter,

Patti Davis.

In 1994, Davis posed in a controversial, full-frontal photo for Playboy Magazine.

She also posed nude for More in 2011.

4.

Julie and Tricia Nixon famously battled it out over a $19 million bequest to the late

Richard Nixon's presidential library.

The two sisters had reportedly not spoken in years and were in disagreement about the

oversight of the funds, which was a bequest from their father's good friend Bebe Rebozo.

Ultimately, according to a 2002 Time article, the sisters moved on and the library was able

to access the funds.

5.

Malia Obama once again made headlines when the then 17-year-old attended a party at Brown

University in Providence, Rhode Island, while she was on a college tour.

Social media photos surfaced showing her standing by a beer pong table complete with Solo cups,

which sent the media into a firestorm.

Although it was never confirmed whether the first daughter imbibed, the images shed a

less-than-appealing light on the eldest first daughter.

It's not a great idea to go after the children of presidents.

I don't personally advocate for this and it's something both sides of the aisle should

avoid.

But at the same time with Malia Obama, it's a bit satisfying considering how the former

First Lady Michelle Obama was intent on telling us how to raise our own children.

From what they could eat in school to even going as far as giving her unwanted advice

on how to raise boys so they won't become sexual predators like her elite Hollywood

friends and former President Bill Clinton.

I feel for this poor girl.

She can't do much without everyone knowing about it.

But sadly that's just the way the ball bounces.

You don't get to live in the White House and then go off and live a normal life.

Don't take my word for it, just ask 11-year-old Barron Trump who has been called every name

in the book by left-wing celebrities and mainstream media personas.

Famous Artist Who Painted Obama Stepping On The Constitution Just Released Trump's Painting - Duration: 5:54.

There is a famous artist from Provo, Utah who painted a very controversial piece of

art of a depressed man sitting on a park bench.

He is surrounded by all of the 43 Presidents, and in the forefront, President Barack Obama

with his back turned to him stepping on the United States Constitution.

Now with the new American President, Donald Trump, he made a new painting and what a contrast

of difference from the other.

In this painting, you see the American people, different races, background professions surrounding

the once depressed man who is now planting a tree, which could symbolize the tree of

hope, and next to him is a woman and President Trump.

The title is perfect of Trump's legacy "You are not forgotten," because that's what

he promised to the American people that he will fight for the average American middle

class, and he will not forget them.

His Presidency of almost half a year has already shown his dedication to the people.

Bringing jobs back to the people, getting rid of the dangerous Obama care.

Taking the fight to terrorism instead of paying them.

This painting sums it all.

Just like the painting of Obama.

He said it himself that the Constitution has no meaning in his words.

He has continuously ignored the laws of the Constitution, one of them being, bowing down

to the enemies of the United States, which includes radical Islamist like ISIS, Taliban,

North Korea and so on.

He cared more about himself than helping the regular blue collar Americans.

He was a President of "open borders" which did not include immigrants who came to America

legally.

He supported terrorist groups in America known as black lives matter instead of supporting

the police.

Via CBS Las Vegas:

Provo, Utah (CBS Las Vegas) – In front of the White House a man is sitting on a park

bench in the throes of depression.

He is surrounded by all 43 presidents.

In the forefront, purposefully ignoring the depressed man is President Obama, whose right

foot is stepping on the Constitution.

James Madison is next to Obama, pleading with him to stop.

This tableau is called "The Forgotten Man", a painting by Jon McNaughton, an artist who

is known for his politically-charged work.

The painting, which uses objects such as discarded dollar bills as symbols and scraps of paper

with individual constitutional amendments scrawled onto them, has been making the rounds

across the Internet.

The painting was initially released in 2010 and has resurfaced, causing a stir when it

appeared for a caption contest on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow's blog.

The responses have ranged from sarcastic — "We'll trade you this peasant for that constitution.

We'll even throw in the bench."

— to Photoshop works of art.

McNaughton released an accompanying YouTube screen share video for his painting.

The video shows McNaughton painting the piece with a soundtrack that emulates a movie trailer.

"For a long time I didn't know if I wanted to paint this picture, because I worried it

might be too controversial," McNaughton explains in a voice over.

"(T)his man (on the park bench) represents every man, woman, and child who is an American…

he hopes to find the American dream of happiness and prosperity.

"But now because of unconstitutional acts imposed by the American people by our government

we stand on the precipice of disasters," he added.

McNaughton explained his position behind the painting.

"I don't place all the blame on Obama.

On my website I try to explain what each president has done," he said.

"The thing I like about the painting is that it does get people talking."

The painting has done well since it was released.

"It sold thousands," he told CBS Las Vegas.

"I sold many different sizes and editions, and now that we are in an election year I

expect to sell more."

This isn't the first time McNaughton waded into politically charged waters.

Previously, he released "One Nation Under God," a painting depicting Jesus holding

the Constitution and judging several archetypes such as a liberal journalist, a smug college

professor, and another archetype that McNaughton calls "Mr. Hollywood."

Originally from Arizona, McNaugton currently lives in Utah.

He received a full scholarship to Brigham Young University.

Initially he studied art, but switched to design later on.

"I hope my work will create conversation and reach people on a deeper level," he

says on his website.

"I like to use metaphor and multiple levels of meaning to reach my viewer.

If it makes them think and feel, then it is successful."

He later added to CBSLV: "I'm not trying to create an art style.

I want to communicate my ideas.

Isn't that the purpose of art?"

Via YoungCons:

The picture shows Trump crushing the head of a snake under his heel.

The focus of the picture is 'the Forgotten Man' in the center who is seeking to encourage

a sprout to grow from the earth.

That man is a focus of other McNaughton paintings.

McNaughton's 'Forgotten Man' theme coincides with Trump who touts a similar theme, that

he is working in the White House for the forgotten Americans.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders periodically reads letters during White House briefings from

Americans to touch this sentiment.

President Trump's America is the America that I grew up in, the America that I knew

and love and it's good to see it come back, yes it's coming back with a fight but it

is coming back.

This artist's painting has described the two Presidents perfectly in his art.

If You Spot a Rubber Band on Your Front Door Handle, DON'T TOUCH IT, Here's The SICK Thing It Means - Duration: 2:25.

A Texas woman is sharing the disturbing incident that recently happened to her several days

ago in the hopes that her warning will help others to avoid being victimized by a crime.

It's currently happening to neighborhoods across the country, after criminals have established

a sinister new trend as a way to mark their next victims.

In a now viral Facebook post, Kim Cernigliaro wrote about her harrowing experience after

an unknown person came to her front door and began violently pounding on it.

"Two weeks ago during the day, a hard knock was at my front door, not a regular knock

but almost pounding … and I DO NOT answer the door when I am here by myself," she

wrote.

She followed her intuition at the time, which was to not open the door, choosing instead

to peek out the side window.

"I glanced around and could see it was a man through the stained glass of my door,"

she wrote.

Kim said she waited for about 30 minutes until she was sure the man had left, and expected

to see a brochure from a salesman, but instead found that a rubber band had been fastened

around her door handle.

Completely perplexed, Kim decided to call the police to see if they had any insight,

and that's when her jaw hit the floor:

"The sheriff came by yesterday and said this is happening all of a sudden, as soon

as you unlatch the door, they do not wait for you to turn the knob, they can bust in

on you."

She was told that if anyone sees a rubber band, they should immediately contact police.

Basically, the rubber band is used to prop the latch open, so as soon as you turn the

lock, criminals can push the door open, gaining instant access into your home without waiting

for you to peek to see who the person is.

Kim hopes that sharing her story can warn others and help prevent others from being

victimized.

If you hear someone banging at your door and you're not expecting company, always be

sure to have your firearm handy and accessible so if things do go south, you'll be able

to adequately defend yourself and your home.

This rubber band trick is no doubt putting countless lives in danger across the nation.

Be sure to pass the story on to your friends and family.

It is possible that this warning could save someone's life.

ALERT: US Marine Patrolling US Border Has A Terrifying Warning For Americans After What He Found - Duration: 3:03.

To all of you out there who think those of us who supported, and voted for, then candidate

Donald Trump because we are xenophobic and racist, here is your wake up call.

A former United States Marine Patrolling the Mexico-Texas Border has a chilling message

for you and all Americans.

"In an interview with Dennis Michael Lynch, a former U.S. Marine who served in the Middle

East is now an active member of a border group that patrols the southern border.

He is a former bomb expert trained by the Department of Defense.

Known to his pals as "Talon," he shared his thoughts about the "other than Mexicans"

that have been coming through the border for years.

"The Chinese and Middle Eastern people coming through the border are not coming here to

cut our lawns and wash dishes.

They hate us with a passion," said Talon.

When referring to the Muslims who hate the U.S. he said, "We are the infidels and they

think we deserve to die."

DML asked him how long until another 9/11?

Talon answered, "I'm shocked it hasn't happened yet.

Let me tell you that once they figure out how to get a nuke through the border, we will

lose a U.S. city."

There are congressional reports that reveal the drug cartels work with terror groups from

the Middle East."

All this isn't news to those of us already living in border states.

We see what's coming in on a daily basis.

Our cities are being overrun by gang crime like never before.

The best of the best doesn't just walk across our borders.

These aren't children with "Divinity in their Eyes" as Nancy Pelosi calls them.

Since President Trump's inauguration, there has been a sharp decrease in illegals crossing

the border illegally, but we won't be secure until the wall is built and we are able to

stop them completely.

Last week Attorney General Jeff Sessions sent official letters to the 9 different cities,

counties and the whole state of California ordering them to stop the madness and let

The Department of Homeland Security and ICE do their job.

If not they will be punished by ceasing to send these 9 entities federal funds.

I know my home state of California can't survive long on its own although liberals

and loony politicians actually believe it can.

Maybe legalizing Marihuana in this state wasn't such a great idea after all.

To all you Liberals out there, please, stop with the finger pointing and accusations.

This isn't about being bigoted, Islamophobic, Xenophobic, or whatever "phobic" you want

to invent next.

It's about our very survival of as a nation, as a culture and as a people.

If you need to, pretend the bad people slipping in through the border are Christians and Jews.

I'm sure if they were you would have no issue whatsoever in building a wall to stop

them, but please to play with our security and very existence only because you believe

in the madness that is Political Correctness.

Daily Will Episode 3: Advice to Younger Will - Duration: 9:51.

so question from where you're at now as an entrepreneur - when you first started

your entrepreneurial journey whether you realize you're an entrepreneur or not if

you could tell your younger self something what would you have told your

younger self run for the hills

had a engineering hire candidate in another one I think as I mentioned

before we got a lot of roles to fill an engineering side and as I wanted to sit

down with them and share a little bit about the culture it's already has been

given the green light from the engineering team so I just want to make

sure that with every candidate they get a sense of the company that we're trying

to build the culture the big vision of what we're going after and really a

chance to get to know them and who was the second gentleman you were talking to

I was there to chat with a guy who his name's Jim the successful entrepreneur

or business guy and is looking at potentially licensing technology from

Ohio State so I wanted to get my insight on the process and so we just had a good

chance to talk very open and honestly about good bad ugly but really I think

honestly it's a great position there are always dynamics if you're trying to

license a technology from a university but Ohio State has invested a lot in

bringing in the right people right culture and right mentality to be able

to help take breakthrough technology that's developed within the institution

and marry that with entrepreneurs business people who you know really want

to take that technology forward into the marketplace there's so much valuable

technology that is developed at Ohio State and other universities that

deserves to be shared with humanity but it's a very difficult journey to go from

the research lab into the marketplace so I'm encouraged it got great

relationships at Ohio State and they've been great partners and a

courage to see other entrepreneurs get in the game and and try to a create

breakthrough companies which breaks through technology

busy day beautiful outside got a lot going on and very much probably ever we

travel for the next so I would tell my younger self to not be too confident I

was full of hubris meaning that I believed like like mine and people I

mean equally being take on a lot and when it comes to to taking you know any

business and really building a business right it's such a it is an intense

devotion it takes an intense amount of time and intense amount of focus and

there's a big world of difference between having a vision and an idea for

something in your mind and actually being able to bring it about into the

world and so my the way I was wired as a young entrepreneur instilling very much

today is to be you know kind of dream big type of got big ideas I can see you

know something become real I can visualize I can tell you I can paint a

very detailed picture around an idea becoming a reality but that process to

actually make it happen you have to focus on the details you

have to to roll your sleeves and really get in and grind and so I would tell

myself to be prepared for something that's gonna take longer than what you

anticipated it's going to be more difficult than what you anticipated it's

going to be more stressful than what what you anticipated but it is going to

be the most exhilarating ride that you could imagine the journey and in and of

itself is incredible you'll learn someone lunch and you will

continually transform as a person don't give up

all right so here

I had the ratio of like three to one

don't you have meet with the creative agency got some marketing work that

needs done for Nikola labs and our resident designer who works part-time

Mitchell product that we're launching

early next year things are pulling all of the collateral what we do here just

go back back back what what adds to my personal motivation is understanding the

why of the people on my team so and what are their dreams what are their

ambitions what do they love to do you know as we build success how will that

impact their life you know what what are the causes that they care about and I

think the more I understand that the more I'm able to uncover those layers

with with the team the more it helps me or motivation it gives me because it

certainly takes a team to build anything great and understanding you know what

those motivational factors are for them is it's just a benefit it helps me to

and even more aggressive and more passionate over going

so just wrapping up the day Friday along the way home commute with Melvin the man

and a great a great week great day today a lot going on so we've made some

organizational changes at Nikola labs to really step up our game from sales

outreach knitting into 2018 seen a way to bring on engineers and and the team

focused really on the core product and creating game-changing technology and so

uh yeah I'm antique today was one of those of prototypical crazy startup day

so some challenge challenges a lot of positive things that with Brian McManus

ease of a good friend Phil along canoer talked about ways that we can impact the

community and yes are ready to go home that's really fun stuff that I'm doing

tonight wrapping up preparations for the family

is it's a big event we're any goats this weekend it's the

little farm animals but not just any type of goats fainting goats so I expect

to be able to show you very hilarious videos and the near future but I've got

to get the pasture fully prepared and close some high-tech steam off by

spending some time on farm
