As I mentioned this video is made in collaboration with Matas
as part of their Black Friday campaign
Their Black Friday sale starts thursday at midnight and will be going on all weekend
You can actually get 20% off all their products
So I've picked out some of my favorites and also a bunch of new products
and that's what I'll be talking about today
I dont know where to start
There are just so many products
so I'm thinking let's start wiiiiiiiiith
makeup
Something that really surprised me was how many products are on there
It took me two and a half hours to look through it all and I didn't even check out all brands
But I discovered Makeup Revolution on there and had no idea we could get this in Denmark
I think it's only available on Matas and I've only ever seen it while visiting my boyfriend in England
But I got super excited cause it's supposed to be really nice makeup
and it's a pretty good price I'd say
I picked out their Strobe Luxe highlighting palette
I think their packaging is so nice, I love that metallic look
aaaaand I can't handle these highlighters I think they're so gorgeous
Those golden, light, bronzy
*baby angels singing*
They're just so nice
I actually haven't tried them yet but can't wait to test them out, they seem to have a nice pigment
and they're definitely very glittery
if you can see what I mean
There are people walking on the street who can see me
HELLO
So this was the first thing I picked out and think it was around 100 kroner
there were some kind of special offer on it
and it's three highlighters for the price of one so that's pretty good
Another thing from Makeup Revolution was their Ultra Eyeshadow palette
I think it's called Flawless 3 Resurrection
and again, the packaging is fantastic
I think they have such a sleek and elegant look
and I thought these shadows were amazing too
I wore them both yesterday and today
Worked mostly with these highlighty colors and the warm ones in this area
Usually I'm not into cold shadows but thought this was a good way to try them out without investing in a palette that I wouldn't be able to use
This was the first time I ever tried anything from Makeup Revolution
but I've been so pleasantly surprised
They were really easy to work with, not overly pigmented, but easy to build up and that's how I kind of prefer my shadows
As I said it's also what I'm wearing on mah face today
So just very natural, nice and warm
meeeeeeep
But yeah, I really love the packaging and can't wait to have them displayed at home
I dont know if you can see anything from the lighting here
So prettyyyy
If you follow me online you probably know that I love everything glowy, bronzy and highlighty
It's just my favorite thing
So I also picked out a Milani highlighter
This is the Dayglow Luminescence Strobe Light
I think it's also pretty new that Milani is available in Denmark
you might only be able to get it on Matas, or at least I haven't seen it anywhere else
And again that super delicious, golden color
It's a bit more powdery than the one from Makeup Revolution
but it gives a really nice and natural glow
it might be good if you don't wanna be super radiant one day *will never happen*
I think it would work well with some Fix+ or setting spray just to boost the illuminatingness *great danish, Saline*
just a tiny bit more
So Milani you can also grab on Matas, which I actually had no clue about
OKAY
I had no idea I grabbed this many highlighters lol
but I also picked out MAC's Oh Darling
It's one of my faves from MAC
It gives you such a nice, golden J-Lo glow
It is SO nice
And if any of you wanted Whisper of Guilt from the MAC Snowball Collection but didn't cause it was sold out
this is actually a really nice dupe
I actually like this one a bit more cause it's a bit more golden and I think that's really really nice
As you can see it's already been used cause I couldn't keep my paws from it
It's just so nice and also what I'm wearing today
WOOO
I think a lot of people don't know they can get MAC in Matas and on their website
I'm not sure how long we've been able to, but it's pretty nice cause it's available to everyone
and I know lot's of people have requested MAC in more cities and shops
So matas.dk you can definitely get it naow
I think that was it for highlighters
that was.. quite a bunch I guess you could say
The next product I grabbed is a bit underrated and it's lashes from Depend
I think a lot of people think of Depend as kind of a tacky nail polish brand we used in primary school
and that is wasn't super great
but I really think their eyelashes are super super gorgeous
I picked out the Cecilia and Jessica sets
and they just give you a very nice and natural result
Today I'm actually wearing a set from NYX that looks a bit like the Cecilia ones
I think these are called Doe Eyes or Doll Eyes
which I'm pretty sure you can also grab on the website
I think they were around 69 kroner *lies they were only 59,95*
and they're actually very nice if you need some lashes but don't necessarily wear lashes all the time
And I had run out of my Duo glue, think I've gone through three of these this year cause I basically wear lashes every single day
It's just the best ones, it works super well. Think you can get it in black now too, but the clear/white one is just fantastic
I think it was around 80 kroner *lies again it was 85*
so with 20% off it's basically nothing
So a Duo glue, had to grab one too
I haven't used that many drugstore products on here but will try doing that more as it's something more people can afford
so I picked out a L'Oreal True Match Foundation
I had this a few years ago and really liked it, but kind of forgot how it was to work with
Wore it both yesterday and today and it looks super super nice, very natural and almost silky on the skin
And I think for 149 kroner this is a really fantastic foundation
You get 30ml which is very normal size for foundation
and you don't need a lot, think I use a pump and a half and that's enough for my entire face
I grabbed the color 5.N in Sable/Sand I think it's called
Thought I'd grab a drugstore concealer too and this is Maybelline Fit Me
I know loads of people love this, but I never tried it myself so thought I would give it a chance
There were only three colors to choose from which surprised me a bit, but I went with number 20
I think it was the darkest one cause it was the most yellow one and I actually like that a lot
Nice being a bit golden pale, like you've been on vacation, even though you live in Denmark
*V dramatic sigh*
So True Match and Fit Me were my drugstore picks for foundation and concealer
Let's talk about the last makeup product and also the most expensive on in this haul
It's the La Mer Soft The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation
Erhmm.. Skincolor de La Mer
I know this is super raved about and all the big youtubers in the states made videos and first impressions about this
I kiiind of think 770 kroner *$121* is a bit crazy for a foundation
but I thought I'd try it out and give it a chance
I swatched it on my arm with the one from L'Oreal and they kind of feel the same
Haven't tried it out yet but excited to give it a shot
The packaging is of course super luxurious and also looks really nice
But erhmm.. I'm not really sure what to say lol
I'm just like 770 kroner *$121* it must be able to do something fantastic for me
like make my coffee in the morning or something
But I'm excited to try it out, the color I chose is
Beige 32, it's a bit on the dark side for me
so I think it's gonna be for when I self tan
But ehmmmm
770 kroner for a foundation
Yes, that.. That can happen too
The special thing I think is that it's supposed to have some of the skincare ingredients that La Mer are very known for
So it's supposed to treat your skin while wearing it
And it has an SPF of 20 which will help protect from sun damage
and that's something you can always use
Yeah, most most expensive thing from this haul here
The past year and a half I've been really into self tanning and having a nice glow
which I don't really have right now
But I thought I'd try out Dior's
Auto-Bronzant for the face and body, omg it's so hard to speak Danish
Can't even concentrate haha
But it's a liquid self-tanning oil that's supposed to give you a really natural glow
I tried it on one leg the other night after having showered
sent a photo to my boyfriend to see if he could notice the difference and he actually could
So the way to use it is after having showered
you can use it on both face and body
Spray it on, massage it in and it should slowly give you a natural glow without being greasy or like normal self-tanners
but more like a glow from within
As soon as you have your desired tan, you only need to use it once or twice a week so it should be pretty easy to work with
I'm definitely gonna give it a shot, maybe use it every morning or every night
just for a few days to see if I'll get the results I want
And then just try and maintain it over the next few weeks
to see how it works
It was actually kind of pricy, think it was around 350 kroner
But you do get 100ml and it smells amazing
I'm very very excited about this product cause normally I just use self-tanning mousse
But I'd love something that's a bit easier to work with and something that's faster to use
Gonna be nice for wintertime when we get pale and chubby and a bit sad to look at
The tanning oil from Dior could as I said definitely be used on the face too
BUT I had a costumer recommend to me this Clarins
Addition Concentré Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster
It's these small drops that you mix with your daily moisturizer
You only need 2-3 drops
Just mix it with whatever cream you use in the morning
So it's this little funny thing here where you screw off the cap
and it has this little, kind of weird
I dont even know if you can see anthing my camera doesn't wanna zoom *focus*
But this tiny little head where a few drops come out
Mix it with moisturizer and apply to the face and neck in the morning
It says you need to wash your hands with soap after so I'm guessing it's probably kind of intense
I actually did notice my hands got a bit darker on the inside
because I didn't really have time to wash it off after using it *bad excuses lol*
But the girl who recommended it said after a while she actually got really really tan on the face
But uhmmm.. I don't mind that at all so very excited to use this over the next few weeks
OKAY on we go
I know GlamGlow is a brand that loads of people really love
haven't really had the best experiences with them myself
Think maybe the products I've tried havent really been a good match for my skin
or been suitable for what I wanted to use them for
but I thought I'd give it another shot
I grabbed their GravityMud Firming Treatment
It's supposed to be applied in a nice, thick layer and it's a bit white and silvery
I hope you guys can see without me spilling it all over myself
You apply it and let it sit for 15-20 minutes I believe
and then peel it off and it should have had a firming and fresh effect on the skin ish
Thought I'd start with the small one to see how it works out for me
cause as I mentioned so far I haven't been super impressed by GlamGlow
It smells amazing though
All products I've tried from GlamGlow do
So I really do want to love it
Think the small size is nice so you dont have to go out and invest a ton of money on the big size
Next product from GlamGlow that I know I'll love is their Glowsetter whic is a setting spray
It's supposed to be skincare and setting spray mixed together
It's full of tea like green tea, red tea, white tea
Caffeine, coffeine
What's the Danish word?
Caffe, caffein?
yeah, mh-hmm
aaaaaand
charged water
So it actually treats the skin, moisturizes and give the skin a nice glow
We're gonna give a chance, see what we think
I definitely love the packaging, I think GlamGlow is great at that
It's very Hollywood, very girly, very bling
Think this will for sure become a huge favorite of mine
I love to glow, I love setting sprays and face mists in general I just really love
The next thing I chose was perfumes and I think you're gonna laugh at me a bit cause the first one is actually
Amor Amor by Cacharel
Everyone used this at boarding school like ten years ago so it's a bit embarrassing and I'm a bit oldschool but
I could just never let go of the idea that this was something I needed it my collection
It just smells..
SO NICE
It just reminds me of the happiest times and being young and crazy
and having fun and I just think it's so cute
The packaging has this cute little circle here that you spray the perfume through
It just smells good. Smells fresh, very feminine, very sweet, and that's exactly how I like my perfumes
I couldn't control myself and also had to grab Prada Candy
It's like a perfume where if you accidentally apply to much you can seriously make people around you nauseous
And that's exactly what I want from my perfume
just so people don't invade my space
It's very very sweet, very feminine and actually kind of heavy
but I actually like that, it's very very sugary
So it actually just smells a lot like candy, which is also what it's called
It's smells a bit like honey too which I really like and I love the packaging too
Gold, pink and black is just nom
For some reason haircare is what I grabbed the least of which is weird cause I love taking care of my hair
But the first thing I picked out was a Batiste Dry Shampoo
This is the scent Floral and Flirty Blush
I think everyone knows Batiste, they're really affordable, work really well
They smell amazing and I think they're great at giving your hair volume
I've tried some really expensive dry shampoos and they work well
But I think Batiste have a nice price and it's a product that works, so I grabbed a new one of those cause I had run out
I actually don't remember how this smell
OH
Smells a bit like grandma's bathroom
But that's okay too. I actually like the one with coconut the most
And the last product, or the last productS are
Bumble And Bumble's Creme de Coco Tropical-Riche Shampoo and Conditioner
It contains kukui nut oil *???*
Never heard of that before
I've been recommended these multiple times and they're supposed to be really good
I tried them yesterday and they felt so good, except that right when I came out of the shower my hair felt a bit greasy which I didn't like
but as soon as my hair was fully dry it just felt really strong and really healthy
It also gave my hair a really nice silky look
So after one try I've been very positively surprised and I'm excited to see how my hair will feel when I'm done with these bottles
WHAT'S GOING ON
They were a bit pricy but you do get 250ml so they will last you a long time unless you have very long hair
Let's talk about one thing that's a bit weird and isn't really beauty related
but I picked up a Dylon Velvet Black textile/fabric dye
I have so much black clothes that needs a fresh color and also pieces that I don't wear because I don't like the color
so I thought I'd try out some fabric dye
It's a powder that you put in the washer with your clothes, then dyes it and then you just wash it all once more
Never tried this before, only ever used liquid fabric dye so I'm excited to see how this will work and how black it gets
So Dylon, think this was around 60 kroner *was actually 90* and there's a good bunch in here
I think there's enough for 600 grams of clothes so I think it's pretty cool you can get that at Matas too actually
Okay, so last category is skincare
I think skincare is what I got most of cause I've become pretty nerdy when it comes to taking care of my skin
I find it super interesting and love experimenting with different products and brands
The first two things I grabbed are actually for my boyfriend
I've gotten him pretty hooked on skincare and usually he use my stuff when I visit him
but I like products that are kind of thick on my face cause I get dry throughout the day
and he really likes products that aren't greasy and are absorbed into the skin quickly
So the first thing I picked was a Raunsborg Face Wash
It's supposed to cleanse the skin really well without drying it out
and it contains plant extracts, white willow bark and seafoam
It actually smells really nice, smells very Nordic
So I think if you need inspiration for
Omg now I got it on my nose ughh
I think if you need inspiration for Christmas presents for boyfriends, brothers, fathers
A brand like Raunsborg is a nice thing to give cause it's not too expensive but still great quality
So I'm excited to let my boyfriend try this
Of course he needed some moisturizer for the face as well so this is the Shiseido Men Moisturizing Emulsion
An emulsion is *put very simply* two liquids that don't dissolve in each other, like oil and water
And what's cool is how quickly this is absorbed into the skin
So if you are someone, and I think most guys are, that doesn't like have a greasy feeling on the skin or something that is visible
an emulsion or a product similar to this is good to use, cause it absorbs into the skin so fast
I also think the design the design is awesome and not too feminine, so definitely something I guy could have on display too
This was a bit more pricy, but it's something that would last you quite a while as you dont need much
I think a face wash and moisturizer or emulsion like this is a perfect small christmas present for a guy
These two were around 300-400 kroner and I think that's a pretty good price
I'm the type of girl who always always always have dry lips no matter how much I treat them
I have so many lipbalms and still dont feel like there's anything that works perfectly
and keeps my lips hydrated all day, especially under lipsticks
so I bought a Burt's Bees lip balm with coconut and pear
It's just your standard lip balm packaging
It smells so good, it's very tropical, like holiday and that's my favorite scent
Just a cute little size to have with you in your bag and I think it was around 40 kroner which is okay for a lip balm
It should be good - at least it had good reviews
Another brand I've heard good about but never tried myself is Australian Body Care
I chose this bunch of products so I could try it out and see how it works for me
It's a brand that use a lot of tea tree oil which have a very specific smell, so if you don't like it I don't think these products are for you
But I think a skincare series like this would be a great christmas presents for moms, sisters, grandmas or friends
I picked up a body scrub, body lotion and a pure oil
Both of these are of course with tea tree oil which is amazing for the skin
The body scrub is supposed to exfoliate while also hydrating the skin
so you won't feel dry or like your skin is tight after using it
and it should be awesome for keeping the skin very fresh and very clean
I really enjoy doing body scrubs, especially before doing a self-tan
and I really really like the smell of tea tree oil
It smells quite strong, almost like a pharmacy brand and I like that it's not full of perfume and other bad things
So these two I'm very excited to try and I think they'd be a nice Christmas present idea too
and
then I got 100% tea tree oil, just lemme have a look, meeeerh
It is 100% tea tree oil which is a very powerful oil
You can't use it directly on the face or body and definitely not eat it. It needs to be mixed with another oil in a 1 to 100 ratio
I was thinking I'd mix it with jojoba oil and use that on my body after using the body scrub
As I remember this was a bit pricy *no it wasn't, only 119 kroner* but it's probably not for everyone as you definitely need to mix with another oil
I just find oils to be nice to work with and I like that they keep my skin moisturized for a very long time
Smells very strong, like it kinda burns your nose a bit when you sniff it lol
But I love the smell of tea tree oil, it's so delicious
Another oil I really wanted try was Dr. Hauschka's Nurturing Rose Body Oil
It's supposed to be very soothing and nurturing for the skin while also having aromatherapeutic benefits as it smells quite strongly
When I was younger I loved things that were a lot more bling and had nice designs but now I'm very into these pharmacy looking, more organic products
It just smells.. Let me see if I can open iiiit
It has a strong scent of roses and they suggest to use it for massages as well
so I think I might bring it with me to my boyfriend and see how it is to massage with
It feels really lovely, light and absorbs into the skin pretty quickly
Just gives the skin a nice glow
But this is a little thing, especially during wintertime when you can feel a bit sad and blue
after a shower, applying this to your skin and having a nice relaxed sleep
It just gives you a feeling of wellbeing and comfort so I thought this would be nice to have
Think this would be another nice gift idea for any women, sisters, mothers, grandparents and so on
So Dr. Hauschka, Nurturing Rose Body Oil
The last product I picked up is Dr. Scheller Jojoba and Amla oil
It's supposed to be really soothing for sensitive skin and also great against redness
especially here in wintertime where around the nose and the cheeks the redness can make you look flushed
so adding an oil like this to your skincare routine can be a great extra step to have
Especially cause the oil will keep your skin moisturized and lock in moisture for longer
It's actually kind of cute cause you get this little pipette
The liquid feels a lot like Estée Lauder's
Erhmm.. *Advanced Night Treatment
That midnight, no.. what's it's name
Recovery.. Mhmmm, you know what I mean
That oil serum thing from Estée Lauder
So it is kind of like a thick liquidy serum type thing that you massage into the skin
I usually massage it into my fingers like this and press it onto my face
It actually doesnt smell like that much, but jojoba oil is one of my ultimate skincare products to use on both face and body
So this is the final thing in this huge giant Black Friday Haul from Matas
As I mentioned their Black Friday sale will start Thursday night at midnight and continue all weekend
And you can get 20% off anything from their website *as long as you buy for 300*
These were my favorites and I'll be sure to link them all down below here on my channel
Otherwise Matas made a little box where you can see all my favorites, prices and more on their website
I hope you found some inspiration to try out products yourself or maybe some gift ideas for Christmas time
Sooo this was my first danish video, let me know what you guys think, it feels a little awkward to speak it on camera haha
BUT it was very fun to try
I hope you enjoyed the video, I'm looking forward to seeing you next time and happy shopping!! <3
