-Cata. -Hey.

-Good news. -What?

I've asked our professor

to assign us extra work so we can graduate.

-And he agreed? -Yes.

He's a hypocrite, Vale.

Why? What'd he say?

He said he wouldn't pass us...

-if I didn't sleep with him. -What?

Worst part is...

I'm going to say yes.

Don't do it, Catalina.

I'll agree to do it and then report him.

How?

I thought about it while you two were talking.

I'm going to ask him to meet me somewhere.

You're going to hide and record the whole thing.

He isn't getting away with this.

Are you in?

I'm in.

Bastard.

Lend me your phone.

Okay.

Hurry up, Daniela!

Alright! Calm down!

Calm down? This will change our lives.

More like give us our lives back.

Here.

I'll take this.

You have the room keys?

Yeah.

It's this one here.

Go ahead.

Hello?

Hello?

How may I help you, ma'am?

I'd like to speak to Chalo.

What for? Who's calling?

Tell him Diabla's on the line.

Sir!

It's the caller you've been expecting to hear from.

Diabla, darling.

I can't believe it, Chalo.

You're alive.

More than ever, Diabla.

They'll never catch Mexico's most powerful drug lord.

I'll do whatever it takes.

Change my name, my face...

move out of town, out of the country...

I won't let them catch me, Diabla.

You've just given me so much life, Chalo.

Don't tell me you missed me.

No...

I didn't miss you.

I missed your presence. It's different.

I want to see you.

Well, what a coincidence.

I want to see you too.

I have an offer for you.

I don't know what the offer is yet,

but my answer is yes.

In that case, tell me where you are.

I'll send someone to pick you up.

I'll tell you this much, though...

you aren't going to recognize me.

I'm a different man now.

I've shaved off 20 years.

I'll send you my address.

I'll give you a password

so you can make sure your driver's legit.

Here goes.

Jot this down.

Yes, sir.

What's this?

Dad!

They left.

Where to?

I don't know, but this can't be good.

There she is.

Business must be rough.

See that gaudy girl back there?

-Yeah. -She's the new procuress

who's trying to fool Mariana.

Seriously?

She definitely looks the part from head to toe.

I won't put up with this.

-What are you doing, Cata? -Come, Vale.

Cata...

Come with me!

I'm doing what any good person would do to save innocent,

vulnerable victims.

You can make good money by just partying!

We'll be going to swanky houses in luxury cars...

Hey!

How's it going?

-Good? -Yeah...

You guys hearing this same old spiel

about whoring yourselves out to drug traffickers?

Are you actually buying that?

Who the hell called this scrawny ass bitch here?

Who asked for your opinion? What's your problem?

How'd it go, again? "Hey, cuties!

You interested in working some formal events for cash?"

She's lying, you know.

I was cute then, but now she's calling me a scrawny bitch.

Why do you hate me so much?

I don't hate you.

You sure act like it.

We don't see eye-to-eye on things, that's all.

Want to go out for your birthday dinner tomorrow?

I'll think about it.

What's there to think about?

I want to go out for my birthday.

Can I?

If your friends come over and tell me where you're going

and what you're doing, sure you can!

Invite them over.

No, thanks.

As you wish.

I guess that means we're going out for dinner, then, right?

I said I'd think about it.

Alright.

If we end up not doing anything, don't blame me.

I won't let you prey on these innocent,

vulnerable schoolgirls.

That's what this is about.

How sweet!

-She's here to save your asses! -Idiot.

Don't you have windows to clean,

rice cooking on the stove, or a husband to look after?

Why are you butting into other people's lives?

Leave them alone! I won't tell you again.

You're the one who should be whoring yourself out,

not these girls.

Just leave them alone already!

Girls, she's a procuress.

She claims to hire you for events

and ends up taking you to drug lords' mansions

to partake in orgies.

-That's what she's after. -Lies!

It's true! I know what I'm talking about.

Sure, they might pay you, but they might kill you too.

Where's Claudia, the freshman? The tall, pretty one.

-Have you girls seen her? -No.

Neither have I.

Her mother's out hopelessly searching for her,

but you know what?

She's never coming back.

She's dead! She was murdered!

She was hired by another procuress named Martina.

"Let's go have fun at Gato Gordo's ranch!

What's the worst that can happen?"

She was killed for knowing too much.

She heard all about his dirty deeds!

Please, guard yourselves and save your dignity.

Don't buy into her lies.

You'll end up as nothing but bait of narcos...

and corrupt politicians.

Those are her clients.

Keeping prostitution in this country alive and well!

Who's number one?

Chalo, of course.

Hop in.

Get in, Daniela.

You should run for mayor of this village!

You nearly convinced me.

-Did I? Hard to believe. -Yeah.

I'll make you believe!

I won't let you...

Enough! Show some respect!

Let her go!

Cata, chill!

Enough.

Get lost!

Well, aren't you brave?

Get! Leave!

Get lost... and don't come back!

You aren't welcome here!

-You're going to pay for this! -I'm not afraid of you!

Now get lost!

This ain't your neighborhood, bitch!

Shut up!

Get lost! And don't come back!

Get!

Ooh! I'm shivering in my jeans!

Leave or I'll make you leave!

Get!

Leave!

Loser!

Yeah! Good job!

We did it, guys! Thank you.

Help me out.

I can't be the only one fighting this.

You need to help out too.

If you see a girl getting talked into prostitution,

you need to step in and stop them.

I'm speaking from experience.

I never got around to actually prostituting myself,

but I did consider it.

I wanted revenge, but I only took revenge on myself.

That's another tale.

All I'm telling you is, there is no such thing as easy money.

You need to take the long, hard way.

You need to get an education and keep your head on high.

You don't have to ---- anyone to make something of yourself.

You need to be proud of that.

You don't have to get butt implants or plastic surgery.

All for what? For their viewing pleasure?

No one really likes looking like that.

I'm telling you, girls...

without breasts, there is paradise.

Bravo, Cata.

Listen to her!

Thank you!

Cardenas!

Come in.

-May we, Colonel? -Sure, come on in.

-Have a seat. -Thanks.

How's your research coming along?

Good. We bring news.

Good or bad?

Depends on who you are.

These two guys are cleaner than any of us.

-Jose Luis Vargas. -Nickname Jota.

He was an altar boy. He applied to the seminary,

but was rejected because of his speaking condition.

His biggest crime was running over a street mutt

while driving his taxi.

The dog survived, by the way.

What about the journalist, Daniel Ceron?

Graduated top of his class in high school,

sustained a scholarship throughout undergrad,

and graduated with honors.

He's earned four awards for investigative journalism,

and before that coke lab popped up in his house,

he had no prior criminal record.

His neighbors assured us

he's never had any narco-looking visitors.

No strange cars in front of Jota's house, either.

And as far as his bank account goes,

he's never made more than the average journalists' salary.

That leads us to believe he's telling the truth

about the lab being a setup.

They have impeccable records.

-We'll have to call the DA. -He's been arrested.

A judge in Bogota filed a warrant for his arrest

after releasing two dangerous drug traffickers...

despite a preponderance of evidence.

Is that so? A corrupt DA?

I'm glad he's been arrested, then.

We're here doing our jobs yet these people keep undoing it.

What about the journalists' partner, Lucia Barrios?

Here you go, sir.

She's never been in trouble, either.

Not even a catfight. She's clean.

Good.

Thank you very much.

If you'll excuse us, Colonel.

Go ahead.

Hello, Mr. DA? How are you?

Here. You love these.

Remember when we'd go out on dates for these?

We'd do it nearly every day.

Seriously, Albeiro.

Are you giving me the money or not?

Quit giving me the runaround.

If you aren't, let's just go.

That money's yours!

Again with that?

How is that I have that much money?

Why do you keep saying it's mine?

Let's be honest with each other.

You want the truth? I'll give it to you,

even if you don't believe me.

Even if your mental health gets worse.

What are you talking about?

You're not well.

How so?

You know...

How?

-Are you calling me crazy? -No, I'm not.

You're acting like it!

Of course I don't think you're crazy, honey.

Don't touch me.

Fine!

What's this, then?

What is it?

A phone.

I just don't get how people watch TV on those things.

It is a phone,

but phones have come a long way.

I need you to be here now.

In the present!

Not stuck 20 years in the past.

I... I've been with you for 20 years now.

I've respected you all along.

I've loved you.

I've been faithful to you.

Please, please believe me.

THE ACERO DYNASTY

You know very well I don't trust anyone,

but I have no other choice.

I'm going to have to trust this guy.

Mario forced her to call you. He kidnapped her.

I know!

I'll use my feminine wiles to extract the information.

I'd rather you live so you see your son be my slave.

Freeze, son of a bitch!

This is like a game of chess.

We must think carefully before we make a move.

You either cooperate or I'll send this to the press.

You'll finally be out of Los Pinos and go to prison.

THE ACERO DYNASTY

MEXICO CITY

What the ---- are you doing with this gang of murderers?

Salvador Acero's a confessed murderer!

He admitted he killed Chucho Casares!

Chucho Casares was a dirty bastard who was in cahoots

with Indio Amaro and you.

Cayetana, think this through.

You'll gain more by not sending those files

than sending them.

-Think about it. -What are you saying?

Do it for the years...

Put your gun down, -------!

-Put your gun down! -Move it! Now!

Hey!

Drop your gun!

Now!

Lower the gun. Come on.

Move it!

What do you want? Proof?

Fine. I'll give you proof. Why not?

Do you know whose payroll I've been on?

Teca Martinez's.

And guess who else's?

Indio Amaro's!

Chucho Casares's and even Guzman's!

But I have some news for you that you won't like.

Guess what?

The people of Mexico will never find out about this.

I'm the meanest ------------ to ever lead this country.

I'll go down in history as the man who destroyed the narcos

by himself killing the leader of the Jalisco cartel

after he made the stupid mistake

of killing the former First Lady.

Do I make myself clear?

---- yeah!

We got you, you ------- -------!

Good job, Rooster!

Right.

You're so stupid, man.

You see us and think we're stupid,

but we're not.

You're ------. We just recorded you.

You just confessed to murder, Heriberto.

It's over for you.

Thank you.

Let me go! You can't do this.

You're hurting me.

This is obviously normal for you.

Yeah.

The local police commander knows the work we do.

We've been working here for years.

It's Mr. Romero. Do you remember me?

You helped my daughter out

when she was being accused of trafficking drugs at the border.

-Remember? -No.

You're the one who proved the evidence had been planted.

Does the name Silvia Torres

-ring a bell? -Oh, right! Silvia.

How's she doing?

She's doing great thanks to you.

She's in school.

The person you got us in touch with helped her.

We owe you our lives.

You don't owe me anything.

It's the White Flag people who are incredible.

What happened to you?

I got tired of my husband's beatings.

I got even today. I stabbed him twelve times.

Good. That SOB deserved it.

Vicenta, come on.

I'll look into your case to help you.

In the meantime, stay out of trouble.

Silence is golden, as your people say.

Yes, sir.

You're the biggest badass I know.

You'll get me out of here.

You really are a badass.

But are you a good person

or just a wolf in sheep's clothing?

I think they're almost here for you.

Just remember that...

Silence is golden, like my people say.

-Yes. -What do your people say?

My lips are sealed.

Right.

I think you're being transferred to prison today.

Call me once you're there so we can discuss your defense.

Thanks.

With pleasure.

Dude, convincing Vicenta's tougher

than beating Lebron James in a game of one-on-one.

She's a pain in the neck.

It took me some time to convince her

that I'm a lawyer who works for White Flag

and who has people's best interests at heart.

Boss, I can keep running that show for you.

I love playing director. I'll keep it going.

Sure thing. We just need to be careful.

Vicenta's really smart.

She's smart and...

She's hot too, damn it!

She's a rarity.

Hey, sir.

How was the actress I sent?

The one from the police station. Did she eat it up?

Meryl Streep's got nothing on her.

The nurse was really good too.

We should open our own theater company.

I'll provide the funding.

Boss, come on! What do you mean?

Didn't you believe me

when I said I always wanted to be an actor?

Yeah, that's right...

Hey, boss. Since we're talking openly,

why didn't you kill that piece of ---- Vicenta Acero

if you had her right in front of you?

Well, because...

Because...

That'd be the easy and boring way to do it.

I'm going to kill Vicenta and make her suffer,

but I'm going to do it slowly.

Okay?

First she has to see and mourn the death

of her idiotic brother Salvador Acero.

-What? -What the ----?

No, wait.

How will you explain to the people

that their president is dead?

What the hell is going on?

Why didn't you warn us that he was insane!?

Heriberto...

Alright, coward. Will you play nice or not?

Mario, what's up?

-Long time no see. -Hey, babe.

What have you been up to?

-How are you? -I'm good.

Remember the last time we talked?

I called you and asked you to find my son's grandmother

and you were really mean to me.

I wasn't mean. Your request was insane.

I know!

But come on. Be nice.

I like it when talk nice, like with that Argentinian accent.

"What do you want to hear?" you ask.

Whisper in my ear.

-Huh? -What do you want me to say?

What do you like?

I don't know... Sing me a tango.

Roscas.

I just hope she can do this. There's a lot at stake here.

Don't worry. Mrs. Tuti's changed.

She can handle herself now.

Just trust her. She'll get him to talk.

You'll get your daughters back.

Mexico-US Border

The thing is that I've been without you for so long

that I've forgotten how to be a good mother.

Come here.

That's how I like to see you praying.

Officer, this man is a thug. Get him out of here.

Didn't you hear me! Get him out!

Don't be stupid.

You're isolated. No one can hear you.

Did you really think you could get away from the president?

You're ------.

You can't touch me.

There's record of me being here.

Vicenta!

You've got a lot to learn.

You're about to become

one of the many missing women in this country.

Oh, yeah!

Sounds good! Oh yeah.

Why don't we go somewhere more private?

Can't we go to your place or something?

You and I know how to have good time.

Remember, we're good at dancing the tango.

You know what it is?

I'm bored

and I'm tired of being a stay-at-home mom and...

You know...

You haven't changed.

Why would I?

Babe, come on.

Why don't we go somewhere else? Someplace nice.

Let's go.

OK. Your place?

Let's go.

You've got guts, kid.

Help me!

I'll admit it.

I'm being kidnapped!

But at this point, you should've already realized

that it's impossible for you to get away.

You can't just make me disappear.

My family, White Flag, and even that Colombian dude

are all looking out for me.

They know I'm here.

I don't give a rat's ass about White Flag.

Understood?

No one's above the president in this country.

I just got rid of your file and you're no longer in the system.

We're calling the shots here.

We decide who exists, who goes to prison, who lives,

and who dies.

Coyote, you're a dead woman.

Let me go!

Let go, you ------!

MEXICO CITY

Did you talk to your girl?

-Eeverything alright? -Yeah, we talked.

Thanks for the favor, man.

Did you think about getting into money laundering?

You need a lot of money to do what you want.

Look at me.

I honestly don't know what to say.

You know that sort of work has messed up my life.

What about what the paper says about my mom?

She got 15 years.

"Sara Acero Arrested For Trafficking"

My mom...

Unlike us, she didn't get into this business

because she wanted to.

She had no other choice.

After Indio Amaro killed my dad, she and I were alone.

We were indebted and people were after us.

And then I got sick.

I know that story.

Then you know how it ends.

My mother getting shot in the heart by Teca Martinez.

We ran and three years later,

we ended up laundering money for Chucho Casares

without even realizing he was playing us.

He betrayed us and ended up paying the price.

You know the rest.

The business isn't the problem.

It's your partners.

You need someone like me.

Someone who's got the bull by the horns

and who won't stab you in the back.

MEXICO CITY

Alright, Mr. Prez.

I'm going to have to take this.

I don't want you to shoot yourself

and then get blamed for it.

Do me a favor and give me your John Hancock.

Go on!

Tell me, Romero.

How is it that the Aceros owe you so much

when you're so young?

Long story short...

Those people destroyed my family.

Now only survivor will have to pay.

Let's see.

You see? That wasn't hard.

Now I need another favor.

Pick up the phone, call your buddies from the press,

and tell them that you apologize

to the honorable Acero-Quintanilla family.

Tell them the manhunt is over.

And one more thing.

I need you to break the news about me.

I want to run for mayor as part of your party.

What?

What the ---- are you talking about, Quintanilla?

How can you be the mayor

of the city where Chucho Casares was killed?

Who cares?

I'll settle for any place you'll send me.

If it helps, I'm from Tamaulipas.

Rooster, good job getting Salvador's pardon.

Now ask him about Vicenta.

One more thing, when are we getting Vicenta back?

I can't do anything about that. I don't know where she is.

What does that mean, you son of a bitch?

Rooster, he knows! Get him to tell you!

We won't need this anymore.

Anything she sees from now on, she'll take to her grave.

Enjoy your last few minutes.

The rustic visuals immediately draw you into this beautifully put together game.

Once there, you start to notice the finer details and appreciate the amazing effort that has been put in.

As we played through the game, you instantly start to notice the subtle but crucial differences that separates it from similar titles.

The alive environments, the beautifully crafted tokens that are used to distribute points and the optional gamble using joker tokens quickly gets you involved in this game.

The openness of the questions asked or statements made allows for any group to get into this game but the experience is definitely made better if played with people you've shared experiences with.

If you don't have such a group like that with you then the game has your back with a "reduced" setting that will get rid of some of the more risky questions.

The use of your phone's camera to include selfies is an awesome feature that makes for some silly but fun moments.

Mini games like "Mimic" and "Photo Game" makes sure it doesn't get too boring with all of us laughing while drawing on each others faces.

Whether it be with friends or family, this scrapbook looking game is filled with enough unique elements and features that simply playing it once is not enough.

Though some of the games could be timed different, whether made longer or shorted, this game from this point on will be included in my party catalogue.

Overall, I give this game 8 out of 10 terrible selfies.

Hi, I'm Mitch Marsh and I'm going Back to School with Student Edge.

What were you like as a teenager?

What was I like as a teenager?

I was pretty cheeky.

Always been a pretty outgoing kid.

I liked to try everything.

I wasn't the most studious kid but I certainly enjoyed my time growing up.

So, what does cheeky mean?

I enjoyed playing pranks on my mates.

I wasn't necessarily in trouble at school.

I had a great relationship with my teachers, but I liked to give a bit back and could also

take it, so I suppose I had the best of both worlds.

What were the things you liked about school?

Like were there specific classes you liked, or was it just that social aspect?

I enjoyed the social aspect of school.

I went to Wesley College, which is an amazing school.

I think...

I actually looked forward to going to school every day.

I had a great bunch of mates that I'm still friends with now, ten years on.

I had great teachers.

I loved the sporting aspect of Wesley College and the PSA, so I thoroughly enjoyed my time

at school.

So, at that time, you were getting into sport.

You're part of a cricket family.

Was it a foregone conclusion it was always gonna be cricket for you?

How early did that begin?

It wasn't always cricket for me.

I played footy and I enjoyed that.

And I was never really pressured into playing any sport.

I just, like most kids and all my mates, I played cricket in the summer and footy in

the winter.

I enjoyed both and sort of got to a time where I had to choose one and I guess you could

say it was always going to be cricket deep down.

But I did enjoy my footy.

Why cricket?

What is it the thing that did separate it?

That deep down, you felt, that's the one I'm gonna go for.

I think just the opportunities I had, at such a young age, for cricket.

I went over and played my first season of IPL when I was 17 or 18, just out of school.

And that opportunity was brought forward to me at a time where I had to make the decision,

so I just went with my gut and chose cricket and I've sort of never really looked back.

So, cricket can be a challenging sport sometimes, but I love it.

That's a young age to start playing professionally and certainly to start touring, and all that

kind of stuff that comes with it.

Did you feel ready, even though you had finished high school, did you feel ready to begin kind

of a career, like straight out of school?

Yeah, I probably... to be brutally honest I probably wasn't quite ready to begin a career,

but I've learnt so many things over the last eight years of playing professional sport.

I think it's held me in good stead, not only for the future after cricket, but right now,

I've just learnt so much, so, I've had some pretty amazing experiences at a young age,

and I'm forever grateful for that to cricket.

As you're coming to an end at high school and maybe approaching playing cricket, did

you think, 'Well this is it, this is my life, I'm going to be a professional cricket player'

or was it in the back of your mind, 'I need a backup, I need to maybe think of my

options here, because who knows if I make the team' or whatever it might be?

Or was it... were you fairly certain, 'I'm gonna work towards cricket and that's it'?

Yeah I get asked that question a lot, and I suppose for me, some kids at school, they

want to be an accountant, and they put all their eggs in that basket and do everything

they can to be an accountant or to be an electrician when they leave school.

And for me, cricket was no different.

So, although it's a sport and I probably could've had a backup plan, all I wanted to do was

play cricket and every day I got up and tried to be the best cricketer I could be.

It's got me to where I am and I just love the game.

Tell me about that then.

Tell me about making that kind of decision and going, 'I'm going to do this professionally,

so I've got to put the work in'.

Right?

Does it mean literally going into the backyard and hitting a ball up against the wall or...

what kind of things do you do to go, 'I'm going to take that extra step to make this

my profession'?

I certainly hit a lot of cricket balls when I was young.

I was lucky enough we grew up on two and a half acres up in Jandakot.

Dad, being a farmer, he didn't want to live in a small house with no property, so we lived

out there growing up, and we had a cricket net and a bowling machine, so I couldn't tell

you how many balls dad fed through to Shaun and I, but yeah, I'd just come home after

school and hit cricket balls until it was dark and had to come in.

Is there a bit of a friendly/professional rivalry with you and Shaun?

We've never really had a rivalry.

I think we're so close and we're best mates that we just want each other to do well.

I think maybe when we're a bit older and we can look back on our records, maybe we might

have a bit of tongue in cheek, but yeah, look, we just both want each other to do well, and

we're trying to do the best we can.

Well, tell me what it felt like to get to play for Australia?

Like, what does it mean to get to play at that, I guess international level, where you

are representing your country?

Yeah, look, it's just a huge honour.

When you look back, there's been 452, I think, to have played Test Match cricket for Australia

and I'm one of them, so I feel very honoured every day I walk past my baggy green in my

house, although, probably the last twelve months for me haven't been the best in terms

of Test cricket, I still feel very lucky to have played Test cricket. So, I'm injured at the

moment, but everything I'm doing is to get back in that Test team.

What do you do when you're injured?

How do you not bide the time but like...

What do you do to still feel part of it?

I think, while at the moment I can't really do much, so I'm pretty limited to what I can do.

But once we get into it, our pre-season's pretty full on.

There's probably six days a week and we're training pretty much all day, so we do keep ourselves

busy.

At the moment, I'm struggling because I can't play a guitar, I can't fish and I can't play

golf, so I can't really do much.

But yeah, I'm always finding ways.

When did you start playing guitar?

I started playing guitar when I was about 18.

Okay.

My best friend sort of taught me and I sort of self taught myself on the road with YouTube.

I like to play.

I play pretty much every day, when I can.

So, yeah I thoroughly enjoy it.

You haven't considered that as the backup?

The musical career?

Yeah, I might get on the X Factor in a couple years.

I dunno.

Well, just wrapping up, do you have any regrets when you look back on your teenage days?

Probably my one regret is not choosing to do my TEE.

I think it's a great thing for kids to do and I was certainly very capable of doing

that, but like I said, I sort of only wanted to play cricket, so that was my only focus.

But I think it's really important as a teenager and as an adult to have balance in your life

and I think I could of handled both things, but that's probably my one regret.

But apart from that, I really enjoyed myself.

Did that mean you didn't take TEE, or ATAR as it's known, subjects, or just the TEE itself?

I took a couple of TEE subjects but not enough to get a score, so, I think I could have taken

on a bit more.

IT'S PERSONAL BUT NOT ABOUT ME - Episode 076 - Duration: 14:01.

What's up crew? This is Millionaire Case Study Episode 76.

So I'm doing this episode in a very uncommon place that I normally do

episodes but I just had the the thought to pull on the camera and do it and so I

wanted to. In fact as soon as I felt the hesitation I used Mel Robbins's

five-four-three-two-one technique and just pulled it out and doing it. So I'm

here in Columbus this is my last day. Today is Saturday sixteen fifteen or

sixteen but anyway not august-september. Today is Saturday September 15th or

September 16th 2017 last day here in Columbus Ohio

and I just got up this morning got my coffee and I'm here in this little

forest area right now and I think what I first want to document is what the last

couple of days have been like and then kind of the thoughts that are going on

in my mind right now because I want to capture them now when they're when

they're actually here. So I just barely got off of Lewis's Lewis Howes school of

or Lewis Howes Summit of Greatness event and man it was awesome. It was good

to come back and to support Lewis for his second year of doing this. It just

worked out and it was awesome in a lot of ways, it was awesome to see the

speakers, it was awesome to get to engage with the

speakers and see how normal that was, it was awesome to

engaged with a lot of amazing people in the audience. There was probably about

600 that showed up I think six or 700 and it was all awesome. It's just been a

really really good last couple of days. And I think I kind of want to document

that how awesome this has been and some other things that have been super

awesome is just realizing how many people are starting to, in a really

humbling way, start to take note of what I'm doing and I'm starting to get this

sense that I think I've had this in some degree but maybe not and maybe I don't

even know it yet with what I'm about to say. But I'm starting to get the sense is

whatever this is that I'm doing, whatever this journey is that I'm on, it's much

bigger than me. And I'm starting to see that see the little things like how

people following me online coming up to me and saying I see you and this is what

you're what you've done for me and you're such an inspiration and it made

me take this action. And seeing their genuine love it's giving me chills and

goosebumps just talking about it and that's been really good it's been really

good to see how people are being impacted. Now one thing I always want to

share is the vulnerability side or the not-so-good side of these types of

conversations and one of the things I want to at least mention on this episode

is I think I talked about this within the Des Moines, Iowa episode when I went

and hung out with a lot of awesome people there's always two sides when I

go to big events like this there's the side that's inspirational and then

there's the side that when I see other people that are super successful it

makes me wonder it makes me wonder am I good enough or makes me wonder if am I

not working fast enough. What did they do to break through for example what was

really cool about this event is I got to see a lot of awesome people who started

around the same time I did and if I'm being totally frank,

some of them are well beyond where I started two years ago two and a half

years ago and I remember one particular moment at the event where I was watching

someone get recognized for their massive growth that they've made and the first

feeling I had and I think this I want to talk about two feelings here the first

feeling I had was a feeling of shit that should be me up there. Man what what

about why why am I not like pushing hard enough or what made that person be able

to get it and not me. That was the first thing

but then something interesting happened and I don't know if it's from another

thought I've had at one point in the past or if it was the awesome

environment that this event just created but I immediately started to shift and

think of gratitude towards that individual. Gratitude for a few things,

gratitude for the contribution that that interview that that individual has made

but also in a bigger level I think what I've come to believe and realize is when

you come from a place of jealousy it's a place of lack like I'm not enough I

don't have enough and it's almost like it's putting out an energetic like

resistance to good things coming in. And so when I realize that I think what it

should what I shift it to and the gratitude is almost like saying holy cow

this good stuff is getting closer to my field of awareness. One of my friends who

I knew when they got started is now making this impact this is awesome and

so starting to look at that from a place of gratitude of abundance that there's

more than enough and that that's almost just a clue and a hint in my universe,

in my reality that it's getting closer and closer to me. And when I thought of

it from that perspective it really really shifted for me. So I just wanted

to document that that's just one of the highlights. Another thing that this last

couple of days has really put me in the mood of and I hope it's not a mood I

hope it's more about a gonna walk a little bit I hope it's more of a shift

in a character trait but I've been in a very giving type of mode. Several of the

speakers who are very successful talked about this. They talked about like if

you're going to receive something it's almost like it's almost like they all

have this understanding that to receive you put out into the universe you

contribute and that's like the secret to money or whatever is when you give

out in value then then it just comes back in. And I don't know I just noticed

that with all of the all the speakers that they're all are givers and it makes

me want to think about how to give in every single situation and so I've been

practicing that last couple of days I don't even necessarily want to bring up

the things that I've been giving on. Just because again it's a part of the giving

is giving without expectation but I've been blessed too by other people that

have been in that same mode I mean even just where I'm staying here the reason

I'm being able to live in this forest is I'm just in basically somebody's backyard

that said hey do you need a place to stay over these the next few days, here's

the keys here are the keys to my apartment, here are the keys to my car.

Like how insanely giving is that so I think that gives us sense over the

last couple of days now what I want to end on now is kind of the the big

thought that's that's holding on my mind right now and the reason I even started

recording my episode here in this forest here in Columbus. I'm putting a lot of

serious consideration into getting a team right now in the middle of

September 2017. This is where I'm seriously thinking of putting together a

team and I see that I said I'm seriously considering this right now on a number

of levels. Lewis put on this amazing event and he probably had 15 people

helping him there's it's it's becoming more and more clear to me that to get to

that next level or to make the impact you have to get other people around you

and not feel like you have to do it all. And it's just really becoming more and

more clear how important that is now why haven't I got a team like I kind of

heard this in the past got I have a team and that's kind of been something out

there like in the future I'll have somebody. I'll have a team not just a few

like designers doing my social media content and things like that but an

actual core team. One of the reasons I haven't is do I have enough money yet

like how do I what if I hire and then we run out of money and stuff like that but

I think this is one of those things yet again in my life in this journey that I

need to do it before I'm ready. I need to jump in and start doing it before it

feels like everything's lined up before I say I have all the money before all

those things and I'm probably saying these things right now to even talk

myself into it more because there's a lot of racket that goes up on and up in

my head like I don't even know exactly what my first hire should be in a team.

Like I think of like Executive Assistant but

what does an executive assistant do? Can I trust somebody with my email? Can I

trust somebody with my calendar, booking my flights, paying something with my

credit card and then do they have the skills to edit videos if I need them to?

All these other smaller things that I'm doing right now, edit this, travel with me

to events, sell for me, get on the phone and talk to people. Like there's all of

these questions but it still feels right. I don't know the answer to all of them

most of them and I don't know exactly how to afford a team but I know that I

need to begin I need to start and it's just becoming feels more and more right

and real. And that's what I've been thinking about this morning as I've been

strolling here in Columbus Ohio and so I just wanted to capture it while I'm here

in the moment, reflecting on it that's one of the biggest takeaways I've gotten.

It's gonna get to the point where it's a personal message so my message is

personal but it's not about me. It's personal but it's not about me. It's

about helping others and it's something that I can't do. I can't do it by myself

and I need to get over the fear or whatever it is the feeling of how are

you gonna do it? I mean I ought to be familiar with the feeling I wrote a book

on it. Anyway this feels awesome it's been a great

trip there's a lot of unknowns, there's questions, there's a lot of stresses with

my business that I've kind of been postponing while I've been here and now

it's time to get back to work and look at what I can do to keep the vision in

mind of what it is I'm creating and act based on the vision, act based on

abundance and not on fear, so that's my focus. So it's probably close to 10 right

now 10 a.m. in the morning here in Columbus on a Saturday and now my plan

is they go be packing up soon then I'm gonna take an uber or lyft to the

airport and I'll jump on a plane that will make a pit stop in Houston then

head to Salt Lake City where I'll be for the next few days. So if this was useful

for you this journey is either useful for you or you know somebody else that's

on their journey their journey to become a better version of themselves, their

journey to be an entrepreneur, their journey to to become a higher

achiever and you know this would be useful to them they would love it then

please share. I'm Calvin Wayman the first story sharing how I went from zero to a

million as it's happening. Thank you so much for watching.

Live Inspired. Vlog Episode #149: Let's Pause and Celebrate - Duration: 4:51.

Well good morning, my friends.

Welcome to a beautiful Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving with John O'Leary.

Delighted to be with you today and every day to share with you how we can wake up from

accidental living and more fully live inspired lives.

Tomorrow, many of you won't be at work, many of you (hopefully) won't be stressing out

over carpool lines and everything else we deal with in life.

Many of you will be stressing out over how to deal with that aunt or that uncle or that

family member, or how to cook a big turkey.

You cook it once a year, but you haven't figured it out yet because it's complicated.

You gotta figure out how to get the potatoes over to the auntie's house, whatever is going

on centering around celebrating Thanksgiving.

But my question to you, and you may not know the answer, so I'm here to share it with you,

is:

Where did this celebration originate?

I think most of us, my little kindergartner included, thinks it originates with the pilgrims,

with the Mayflower, or with Plymouth Rock.

And in some regards, that is all completely true.

But it wasn't a national holiday then.

That was in 1621, I think.

But it did not become a national holiday for 200 and.... (doing the math)... sixty-two

years.

So it took a while, a little more than a couple centuries to get it done.

President Lincoln is the reason why.

The story behind that is phenomenal, but had it not been for one lady, her name was Sarah

Hale.

Sarah Hale spent her life writing.

Mary had a Little Lamb is the work of one Sarah Hale.

She's a phenomenal writer on all things, but one of the passionate topics that she wrote

about was creating a day that we as a nation, we as a global marketplace, I don't care if

you're tuning in in the US or anywhere else in the world, we should all pause for this.

She suggested that we should pause as a nation to give thanks.

She made this her very cause, and in some regards in life.

She wrote a letter to President Lincoln, but before President Lincoln, she had petitioned

the previous four presidents.

This was something she was passionate about!

We need to recognize how many things, how many events, how many gifts, how many bounties,

how many blessings we have.

We need to pause and celebrate this as a nation.

Five different presidential officers, she's passionate enough to write a letter.

Eventually, on September 28, Abraham Lincoln receives this letter from her and he is so

moved that I think six days later, he sends out a proclamation to the entire Union.

North and South in the midst of the Civil War

that on this coming fourth Thursday of November, we shall celebrate all the gifts that we have

as a nation.

In other words, in the midst of a civil war, we're going to celebrate the gifts that we

have.

My friends, it's an important letter to have written and to have read and be moved by in

1863 in the midst of civil crisis.

But I think it's an important letter that we hear and receive and then take action as

we live out in our lives, today.

We have been well gifted.

We have received bountiful blessings.

Tomorrow, we get to take inventory of that, but why wait!

Why wait 'til Thursday, why wait 'til Friday, why wait 'til the weekend?

Start right now on this Wednesday morning.

Take inventory of all the things, all the people, all the gifts, all the challenges

and trials, but also all the examples of overcoming.

Of reasons we have today to give thanks.

To pause.

Sarah Hale, thank you for your courage.

Abraham Lincoln, thank you for you proclamation.

And my friends, thank you for being part of this journey.

If you want to learn more about how we can do live together, why not tune in to our Live

Inspired community.

This week in Podcast, we interview Carlotta LaNier.

She's a phenomenal guest.

She is part of the Little Rock 9, desegregated Arkansas schools through the Brown vs. Board

of Education.

It's an incredibly moving story.

To learn more about her, her passion, and all the reasons we have to be thankful today

and each day, swing on over to www.johnolearyinspires.com.

You can check out the podcast, the book ON FIRE, or anything else that meets you where

you are and inspires you to get to where you want to go next.

My friends, Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a great Wednesday.

So for this time, and until next time.

This is John.

And today is your day.

Drop the Mic: Lil Rel Howery vs Nicole Scherzinger - FULL BATTLE | TBS - Duration: 5:47.

[music playing] Do it.

You must be insane.

Come on.

[applause]

[music playing]

Yo, yo, yo.

Nah, nah, nah, nah.

I don't want no beat.

I don't need no beat.

We doing this a capella.

Straight battle rap style.

Here we go, yeah.

(RAPPING A CAPELLA) It's Nicole Scherzinger, what a surprise.

I've heard her name before, but I still

got to Google it every time.

You left a girl band, in fact it was two.

When will you realize that the problem is you.

[applause]

Do anything for the fame just to stay in the game.

Your whole girl group was just as lame as Danity Kane.

[applause]

You were the Beyonce of the Pussycat dolls

in the beginning.

The only difference is Beyonce still

famous for actually singing.

[applause]

Joshua.

Help me out, baby.

Got you.

[music playing]

(RAPPING) Hey everybody, it's our pal, Lil Rel.

He looks like if Keenan was eaten by Kel.

You can see him every week on "The Carmichael Show."

He's the one that made you think Urkel let himself go.

You try to act tough, but you're such

a weird nerd, because I know your real name is

Milton Howery III.

You think you spit facts.

I'm sending you back.

Sad we're stuck with you now and had to lose Bernie Mac.

[applause]

Joke too soon.

Oh, ok.

All right.

I had a crush on you back in the day.

This for all the nerds that couldn't pull girls like you.

That's what this is about.

This is what this is for.

All right.

(RAPPING A CAPELLA) So she went on "Dancing with the Stars."

Like any of us really care.

She's a professional dancer for God's sake,

so how was that even fair?

[applause]

You got a solo career, you know?

It kind of makes me crack up.

You're like a hard drive, because all you should do

is just do back up, boo.

[applause]

Yeah.

I knew off the bat this battle would end tragic.

You're like a Kardashian, but the one they keep in the attic.

[applause]

It's actually sad how you try to act.

Your best movie is the worst "Men in Black."

[applause]

[music playing]

Spin me some glitter, baby.

(RAPPING) How you give yourself the name

Lil Rel when everything you wear is size XXL?

Have you avoided becoming famous?

You look like Hannibal Buress if he ate when he was nervous.

You're big break was "Get Out," and I know what it means.

I get out of the theatre every time you on scream.

I do.

I just-- I get up, and I just--

I get out.

Ugh.

(RAPPING) And you think your nickname

is some type of riddle.

Trust me, I know why people call you "Lil."

[applause]

It's not true!

That's why I wore these jeans.

These my [bleep] print jeans.

I know what I did.

[music playing]

[laughing]

Stop.

She gotta hear this.

I'm sorry.

(RAPPING A CAPELLA) So you saw "Get Out," right?

You admitted that with grace, especially because your career

is in the "Sunken Place."

[applause]

See your jokes about my career, you know, it's just too weak,

because get out 100 million in just two weeks.

Yo, if I ask who you're impressing,

or what medium you're best in, you'll learn some choreography

and dance around the question, you know?

[applause]

See, I don't listen to your music

because I tell you the truth, your music

is a lot like your body--

just overproduced.

[applause]

Shit.

It is amazing, though.

[applause]

A little too much bass for you, baby.

[applause]

Can I redo my last line?

I'm sorry.

[laughing]

I apologize.

Sorry.

Joshua.

Yeah?

Give me a beat.

[music playing]

(RAPPING) You're a funny guy, but you're out of your element.

You're "Lil Rel," but you're hardly relevant.

You're on TV, and that takes to hang on Jerrod Carmichael,

(SINGING) his nuts.

His nuts.

These nuts.

Sha nuts, sha mone.

Sha nuts.

Come on, baby.

Ugh.

(RAPPING) I don't know whether to roast

you, or give you belly rubs.

You got like Winnie-the-Pooh tryna get into the club.

I'm a vet in this bitch.

You just a rookie.

If I'm the cat, then tell me why you such a pussy?

[applause]

Is it going to be Nicole?

[applause]

Or is it going to be, straight out of Chiraq, Lil Rel?

[applause]

Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado.

Sorry Rel.

Nicole!

[applause]

[music playing]

You must be insane.

Come on.

I'll knock ya out.

You oughta be ashamed.

Hello, everyone! Cosmological here.

Today I'm going to be doing something slightly different.

Instead of responding to a video, I'm going to teach you about how to use what is inarguably the best argument for religion: Pascal's Wager.

So, let's go.

*Break is Over by Krix, AKA my awesome intro/outro music plays*

If you're unfamiliar with Pascal's Wager, allow me to introduce it. to you.

The argument was devised by Blaise Pascal, a 17th century French

mathematician and physicist who also dabbled in philosophy for some reason.

It goes something like this:

If you believe in God and you're right, you go to heaven.

If you don't believe in God and you're right, then you just die.

If you believe in God and you're wrong, then you just die.

But if you don't believe in God and you're wrong, oh boy. Things are not looking good for you.

So by now you can clearly see that this argument is brilliant, flawless, and airtight.

Some people think it has problems, but they are wrong.

I'll leave a playlist of videos that try and show some of these supposed issues with Pascal's wager in the description,

but there's no need to watch them, since, I assure you, Pascal's Wager is perfect and irrefutable.

Well, okay, there is one very, very, very small minute issue with it, but I'll address that later.

So, now that we've established what Pascal's Wager is and that it's such a great argument, here's the important part:

How you use it.

Let's say you're having a friendly debate with an atheist and you intend to prove your position to them.

You see, you can't just use Pascal's Wager right at the very beginning.

That would be like if the first level of game had all the hardest enemies. You have to give your opponent a fighting chance.

Besides they always say to save the best for last!

Let's say you're up against a particularly good debater. This atheist is tearing apart your arguments left and right.

He's pointing out your arguments from personal incredulity, quote mining, god of the gaps, all sorts of fallacies!

It is at this point that you get out your secret weapon.

Now, to the untrained eye, resorting to a pragmatic argument for believing in God, like Pascal's Wager,

after your previous at least somewhat evidentially based arguments have all been debunked,

may seem like a desperate ploy to reassure yourself in the face of your quickly-crumbling beliefs being torn apart.

However, this is simply not the case. In fact, using Pascal's Wager is your secret weapon!

It reminds the atheist that no matter how much more honest, realistic, and scientifically accurate their beliefs are than yours,

you still totally win the who-gets-the-better-afterlife game if you're right, and if they're right, then it's just a tie.

Now, at this point you may or may not have noticed the one teeny tiny flaw in Pascal's Wager.

This is the one little thing I was talking about earlier.

You see, technically, Pascal's Wager could be used by any religion that rewards and punishes you based on belief and/or practice of said religion or lack thereof.

And sure, that does mean you have to ignore any other religion that could use the same argument in the same way whenever you use it.

And yes, okay, you also have to ignore possibilities outside of the dichotomy of a god that sends you to either a good or a bad afterlife versus no God and no afterlife at all.

But, not to worry! I have a solution, and trust me, it fixes everything.

You see, these perceived failures of Pascal's Wager actually stem from its greatest strength!

It's not an evidential argument. It doesn't even try to prove God exists. It's a pragmatic argument for why you should believe in God.

But nobody has ever actually taken full advantage of Pascal's Wager.

Ever since it was first proposed, people have been using it to defend their pre-existing religious beliefs.

Since this is such a great argument, it works well, of course, but Pascal's wager is not being used to its full potential.

That changes now!

I'd like to introduce to you a brand new religion built entirely around Pascal's Wager.

I call it: Pascalianism!

Here's how it works:

If you believe in Pascalianism and you're right, you will go to the best possible afterlife; better than any afterlife offered by any other religion.

For convenience, we'll call this realm Oz, because I really like those books.

If you don't believe in Pascalianism and you're wrong, you will go to the worst possible afterlife; much worse than any bad afterlife that's used to punish you for not believing in and/or practicing any other religion.

We'll call this place Hevenn, because it's confusing and fun!

If you believe in Pascalianism and you're wrong, maybe nothing will happen, or maybe you'll go to some other bad afterlife, but nothing nearly as bad as you would've risked by not believing in Pascalianism and chancing ending up in Hevenn!

If you don't believe in Pascalianism, then sure, maybe nothing will happen, and I guess you won't have to end up in Hevenn, but you could still end up in some other bad afterlife, and any good afterlife you might land yourself in won't be nearly as good as Oz would have been.

See, that's the best way to use Pascal's Wager: construct an unsupported religion *around it* rather than using it to defend a pre-existing unsupported religion.

Anyway, that's all I have for now. If you disagree with me, make sure to leave a dislike and an angry comment, and subscribe to become a Pascalianismist! (Yes, that is what a follower of Pascalisnism is called.)

*Break is Over by Krix, AKA my awesome intro/outro theme plays again*

welcome back a quick reminder of the top stories here on al-jazeera zimbabwe's president robert

mugabe has resigned as the country's leader after thirty seven years in power it sparked

scenes of jubilation across the country with large crowds filling the

lebanon's prime minister saad hariri has arrived in beirut two weeks after announcing his resignation

from saudi arabia lebanon's president previously said i really was being detained by saudi

that north korea is accused of violating the korean war armistice agreement by chasing

a defector across the border between the two countries this video shows the defector being

chased as he crosses the military demarcation line he was rescued by south korean soldiers

who dragged him to safety on the south side of the front here the defector also a soldier

remains in hospital following surgery.

the key findings of the special investigation team are that the k.p.a. violated the armistice

agreement by one firing weapons across the m.t.l. and two by actually crossing the deal

temporarily you can see personnel at the j.f. say notified k.p.a. of these violations today

who are normal communication channels in panmunjom and

requested a meeting to discuss our investigation and measures to prevent future such violations

kathy novak has the latest from the south korean capital.

the c.c.t.v. footage released today shows the moments last week when a north korean

soldier drove his vehicle towards the south korean side we see north korean soldiers noticing

this is happening and chasing the vehicle at a certain point that vehicle becomes a

stuck and we can see the north korean soldier exiting the vehicle and then running on foot

towards the south korean side at that point we see other north korean soldiers firing

at this defector that is the point at which the united nations command says that north

korea violated the terms of the armistice that governs that joint security area on the

border between north and south korea the u.n. see says because of north koreans soldiers

fired across the border and one actually also momentarily crossed into the south korean

side of that demonstrates

a violation of the armistice and they have brought that up with the north korean side

later in the c.c.t.v. footage we see that the north korean soldier is lying on the south

korean side and then forces from the joint south korean and u.s. command crawl towards

him to bring him to safety he has been in a south korean hospital since that incident

last week and we understand that he has regained consciousness though he remains in hospital

one of the other things that we learned from the doctors operating on this north korean

defector is that he had parasites inside him that the north south korean doctor says he

has only ever seen in textbooks and he says that gives some insight into the kinds of

conditions that north koreans are facing and indeed the kinds of conditions that at this

north korean defector would have been fleeing.

ahead of a crucial few days for syria may putin put on a last minute show with political

russia shows its growing influence in the region is that russia's back after the soviet

we had a great goal with president bush we're talking about syria very of course we're talking

about north korea we had a poll that lasted almost an hour and a half we just put out

donald trump did not answer however when asked by reporters is whether it's his view that

the future of syria includes.

remaining in power now this is a very stark contrast to donald trump's predecessor barack

obama not only did obama come close to ordering air strikes on syria following a two thousand

view that there was no future for syria with bashar assad in power to germany now in the

collapse of coalition talks as if the country in political limbo all the major parties appear

to prefer being in opposition while chancellor angela merkel said she isn't opposed to holding

Brad Jersak La Oración Escuchando Parte 2 Haciéndonos Amigos de Dios. - Duration: 3:01.

Hi! I'm Brad Jersak. Welcome to part 2 of our series on listening prayer.

Today we want to talk about listening prayer as a venue for friendship with God and developing our intimacy with God

When I was growing up, a lot of times when I prayed, it felt a lot like leaving an answering machine message

for some God in the sky; and then faith was hoping that he would get back to me somehow.

I would get in a crisis and I would send up 911 prayers, or I would need to make a decision

so I would treat prayer as sort of a psychic hotline, or I get in relational issues and difficulties

and I would think prayer needs to be a time with my crisis counselor

and sometimes we wonder why can't I hear God, when in fact we haven't nourished the friendship upfront.

Imagine having someone come to you and talked to you about themselves for 30 minutes and then walk away

and say to others "I know you".

Imagine being married to somebody, where every date is all about you and you only talk about yourself,

and the other person never gets to share their life with you.

Would you really call that a marriage? How long would it last?

For me, prayer can be like that; it can be all about me, talking about all my stuff

and I never really get to know God. Could I suggest that we begin prayer as an

intimate friendship with a real friend? well, how do you build a friendship? How do you make friends?

when I make friends I approach someone and I say, "What's your name?

and then I may ask them who they are, I ask them what they're into...

eventually, as the conversation goes, I'm looking for what it is that they're excited about

and also the type of things that grieve them.

Eventually when you become close enough friends you even reach out and say, "Here's how I feel about you"

how do you feel about me? that's a little risky, a little vulnerable, but that's how friendships grow

Can I leave those questions with you to ask God?

Could you ask Him first of all: God, what's your name? What shall I call you?

Second, you can ask Him what He's into? (Why are you into that?

Third, you can ask Him, what excites Him?

Why does it excite him what are the things that makes his heart thrill?

Another question you can ask him is, What grieves him?

and why it grieves him?

Do you know there's things on God's heart in this world that He would like confidants to share with

someone who can come alongside him.

You can also ask God how he feels about you?

and this is where the friendship gets more intimate, you come close and you say,

"here's how I feel about you, God" How do you see me?

and let Him tell you, let Him give you your identity, let what He thinks about you

determine where this friendship goes

Those are some good friendship questions for listening prayer. Give it a try
