Learn English Phrases: 10 Things You'll Hear on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday - Duration: 9:54.
- Hello, this is Jack from to fluency.com
and in this English lesson,
I'm going to go over 10 phrases,
or 10 things that you'll likely hear
on Thanksgiving Day and on Black Friday.
Thanksgiving is one of the most important holidays
here in America, and it is celebrated
on the fourth Thursday in November.
It's a holiday that you do your best
to spend time with family, you have a nice dinner
and everything is peaceful.
Black Friday, on the other hand,
is all about shopping.
And this is when, most stores or all stores,
offer discounts and deals on certain items.
And people go out, and try to find the best deal
on whatever they want to get.
If you want to learn more
about this holiday and Black Friday,
I'll leave a link to wikipedia in the description,
but let's look at phrase number one.
(music)
Imagine that you're in the kitchen
and somebody takes the turkey out of the oven.
You can say, that looks delicious.
That looks delicious.
What you're doing is using the word 'look'
to describe appearance.
You could also say, that looks amazing,
that looks awesome.
We can talk about people's appearance too,
using this verb.
For example, she looks tired.
He looks happy.
She looks like Katy Perry.
He looks like George Clooney.
Going back to food, let's say the brussel sprouts
come out and they're black,
because somebody left them in the oven too long.
You can say, they don't look very good.
The second thing you'll probably hear on Thanksgiving Day is
what time does the game start?
What time does the game start?
We're talking about American football here,
because there is always a game on Thanksgiving Day.
I don't know too much about American football,
but I know this is important on Thanksgiving.
But do you notice, the way I ask this question.
What time does the game start?
Now, which tense is that?
It is, the present simple, because we use the present simple
to talk about events in the future,
something that is on a schedule.
Again, I've made a lesson on this.
I'll leave a link in the description.
But you can ask the question, what time does the game start?
Another question you might ask on Thanksgiving Day
is, how long will this take?
How long will this take?
We're talking about food again
and what we're asking is,
how long will this take to cook?
So let's say you have a turkey.
You know it should go in at a certain temperature.
I don't know what that is.
But, you know the temperature,
but you don't know how long it's going to take to cook.
So you ask your friends, your family member,
how long is this going to take to cook?
We can use 'will' or 'going to' here.
How long will this take?
How long is this going to take?
Another example of using the verb 'take' in this case is,
it takes me 10 minutes to get to work.
It takes me 10 minutes to get to work.
Okay, now the turkey is in the oven,
But, you didn't set a timer.
You didn't set a timer.
And, you take the turkey out.
It doesn't look very good.
And you say, oh no, I left the turkey in too long.
I left the turkey in too long.
We use this phrase of verb, 'leave in'
for many different things.
For example, don't leave that bottle of beer
in the freezer too long.
Don't leave that bottle of beer in the freezer too long.
Otherwise, it might explode.
Another example is, uggh, I left my keys in the car.
I left my keys in the car.
Even though we left the turkey in the oven too long,
it's still edible.
But before we eat it,
somebody usually asks the question,
what are you thankful for?
What are you thankful for?
And this is a big part of Thanksgiving.
It's to give thanks, to talk about what you are grateful for
And it doesn't always happen around the table,
in a formal way, but usually somebody talks about this.
And I have been to Thanksgiving dinners before
where everybody said what they were thankful for.
It's a good time to ask you a question,
what are you thankful for?
What are you thankful for?
So after you have said what you are thankful for,
you are sitting down at the table,
and you're eating turkey, but it's a little bit dry
because you left it in the oven too long.
So you want more gravy,
and the way to ask somebody for the gravy is this,
could you pass me the gravy please?
Could you pass me the gravy, please?
Sometimes, people don't say please at the end,
but they do say, thank you,
once somebody passes the gravy to them.
We can also exchange 'could' for 'can' and say this,
can you pass me the gravy, please?
I ask this question a lot, because
I love gravy.
(music)
Okay, so you have your dinner.
You have eaten too much.
You go to bed.
And then the next day is Black Friday.
What you might hear is this,
Have you seen the line at Walmart?
Or have you seen the line at Best Buy?
Walmart and Best Buy are both popular shops
to go to on Black Friday,
because usually they have a lot of deals.
And by asking that question, have you seen the line
at Best Buy, what you're saying is,
there are so many people lining up to get into Best Buy.
In British English, we'll use the word queue here.
Have you seen the queue at Best Buy?
Or, there are a lot of people queuing up.
And I'm sure you've seen one of those videos where,
a shop opens its doors on Black Friday
and people rush in to get the best deals.
Speaking of getting best deals,
I've mentioned this a couple of times,
and you'll hear people say, I just got a great deal on,
this new TV.
I just got a great deal on this new microwave.
To get a good deal on something means
that you get it for a good price.
You get it on sale.
And Americans will say, I just got a great deal.
British people say, I've just got a great deal.
I made a video on this difference
which you can watch.
There's a link in the description.
If somebody buys something that they regret,
they will say, oh, I shouldn't have bought that.
I shouldn't have bought that.
Using 'shouldn't have' in the past
is a great way to express a regret.
So what you're saying is,
I didn't need that, I don't want this now.
I shouldn't have bought that.
There are many things that I regret buying.
And I use this all the time.
I shouldn't have bought that.
But another example is this.
Imagine that, you say something,
that isn't very nice.
You can say, sorry, I shouldn't have said that.
I shouldn't have said that.
For people who don't want to line up
who don't want to go outside,
what they tend to do, is,
they do their shopping online.
So you'll hear them say,
I'm doing all my shopping online this year.
I'm doing all my shopping online this year.
This has become more popular now.
And there's a day, which is Cyber Monday,
that focuses on online deals.
But you'll find Black Friday also has
lots of deals online too.
So a lot of people prefer to do their shopping online.
The last one is this.
Imagine that I see my wife
on her computer, because she does her shopping online.
And she's buying something else.
And I ask her the question,
what are you buying now?
What are you buying now?
By adding 'now', at the end of the question,
it suggests that my wife has been buying a lot of things.
And I'm surprised that she's buying something else,
or maybe not surprised.
So I ask her the question, what are you buying now?
My dad used to say something similar to me,
which was, what are you eating now?
And this was usually on a Friday night,
when I used to watch wrestling,
and eat packets of crisps, yogurt, cereal, so much stuff.
And when I went into the kitchen to get something else,
he asked me the question, what are you eating now?
Okay, so we have covered a lot in this lesson.
And I have taught many of the phrases
in different videos before.
So, be sure to check out the description
or click on your screen
to watch one of these videos.
If you have enjoyed this,
then please like and share it.
Thank you for being here.
And I will speak to you soon.
Bye-bye.
(music)
I love gravy.

FoRB in Five: Rachel Bayani on the Baha'i Faith - Duration: 5:34.
Today we're here with Rachel Bayani from the Baha'i International Community in Brussels.
What is the Baha'i faith and what are some of its teachings?
Basically, the Baha'I faith is a religion, whose members come from every national, cultural,
traditional background,
who represent a cross section of humanity.
And Bahá'u'lláh is the founder of the Baha'i faith.
Essentially, Baha'is believe that there is only one God and that all the great religions
that we know, they're coming from this one and the same god.
And at the core of Bahá'u'lláh's message is this consciousness that humanity is one,
meaning that we're not just different people, tribes, ethnicities, that are trying to find
their way together and to connect with each other.
We're in essence just one human family.
And one thing that maybe can be highlighted is that we believe that in order to build
such a civilization we need to tap on one hand into the common heritage of all the great
religions and on the other hand tap into this vast reservoir of knowledge that humanity
has been gathering in the various sciences.
So, in the Baha'i faith science and religion really are complementary and they need to
go hand in hand.
Another element that's important to building this oneness is really that the principle
of equality of women and men is very much integrated into every aspect of human life
and into all the structures of societies.
We need to make sure that the principle of justice is characterised in all our endeavours,
and extremes of wealth and poverty are abolished, and we're rethinking our economic models
in a way that allow that to happen.
And last but not least, we need to really acknowledge that our future is interdependent,
meaning that the wellbeing of one part of the world is very much connected with that
of another.
Just to conclude with some words of Bahá'u'lláh, he says "Let your vision be world embracing,
rather than confined to your own selves".
In which ways has the Baha'i faith affected your life?
One pivotal concept in the Baha'I teaching is that the refinement of one's character
and service to humanity need to go hand in hand.
Each one of us is encouraged to not just work on their own spiritual and intellectual growth,
but also to use that to very much contribute to the transformation of society.
So as individual Baha'is we are encouraged to participate in a process of long-term community
building that seeks to develop on patterns of life and social structures founded on the
oneness of humanity.
Where are the Baha'is persecuted?
The Baha'is are persecuted in Iran.
That is a matter of official government policy.
There is a government memorandum which has been signed by the supreme leader, and it's
dated `91 and it is entitled 'The Baha'i Question'.
It says clearly that the progress and development of the Baha'i community in Iran should be blocked.
So this means that the persecution, since the revolution is systematic, they're intentional,
they're seen from the highest levels of authority down to the lowest, and they don't
only prevent the Baha'is from being able to express their faith, but Baha'is are
also stripped from all their other civil rights, such as the right to work, to pension,
to higher education, and even the right to be buried.
Baha'is don't only not exist in the constitution as a religious minority, they don't exist at all.
What is the role of the Brussels office and how do you interact with European actors?
The Baha'i International Community is the non-governmental organization that tries to
represent the ideas of the Baha'i faith, but also the experience of the worldwide
Baha'i community and trying to apply those ideas at the grassroots level.
We have offices which are representations to the United Nations, both in Geneva and in New York,
and also regional offices such as here in Brussels but also in Jakarta and Addis Ababa.
Is there anything else you want our viewers to know about the Baha'i faith?
This weekend (21st and 22nd October 2017), marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahá'u'lláh.
He was born in 1817 in Iran, and Baha'is, their friends, their colleagues, their neighbours,
throughout villages, neighbourhoods, and cities, in the whole world will be coming together
this weekend to celebrate this bi-centenary of the birth of Bahá'u'lláh.

Do These 5 Things to Improve Your English Listening Skills! - Duration: 13:02.
Hello and welcome back to OLA English with Greg. In today's lesson I'm going to
give you my top 5 pieces of advice to help you improve your listening skills
in English. I speak to many students and they always tell me that listening and
understanding native speakers is one of the most difficult things in a foreign
language and I think this is for 3 main reasons. Firstly, they use
expressions and native ways of saying things that you don't necessarily learn
at school or in your classes. Secondly, their pronunciation just isn't like your
teachers. And third, they speak too quickly!!! Aghh, slow down!!! So in this lesson
I'm going to give you my best advice to help you get over this problem and start
understanding English native speakers a little bit more easily... are you ready?
OK, I'm Greg from Online Language Academy. We teach conversational
English via Skype to students all over the world to help them gain fluency and
confidence in spoken English. If that's what you want then click up there and
try class. OK, and all these students that we have always tell me the same
thing, "I need to communicate more easily. Yes I need to speak more fluently and I
also need to understand native speakers when they're speaking to me because it's
important in my job / I go to England and I can't understand anybody when they're
speaking to me and..." OK, calm down! There is something you can do about it. OK so
let's have a look at the 5 things I want you to do in order to improve your
listening skills in English.
First is learn connected speech. Alright, connected speech I did a video
on one small aspect of connected speech, you can watch that video up there, and I
talked about the use of the intrusive R and the linking R just to help us
speak more clearly and more fluently to basically to make it easier for us for
native speakers to speak. One example of this is "Donna and her mother..." Donna and
her mother... We put an imaginary R between the two words to help us speak more
fluently. Right I'm not going to talk about connected speech in this video but
I think it is really important to learn these little linking techniques that
native speakers use to make it easier for us to speak so that when you are
listening you know what to expect. I've said simple expressions, simple sentences
to my students sometimes and they haven't understood me simply because,
using that example, they've understood the word Donna but they think the next
word is Rand. And they think: "Rand?? Rand???" What's Rand???" No, I'm not talking about
the currency, I'm saying Donna AND but I'm linking the words with this
intrusive R. There are many techniques that we use in English and I want you to
learn them so that you know what to expect when you're listening to native
English speakers talking.
The second thing I want you to do is listen to music in English. Now I'm sure
you already do this, right? I mean English and American music is so
international but I'm sure in your country you listen to English songs all
the time on the radio. A lot of students watch an entire film in English with
subtitles and I don't really find that too helpful to improve your listening
skills. Yeah it feels good, right, when you watch a movie in English and you
understand it. You feel good, sure! But I want to focus on smaller
parts of English, I want you to find your favourite songs in English and actually
listen to them while reading the lyrics, OK, while reading the words. Listen to
it, listen to how the singers actually pronounce what they're singing. Music is
such, such an effective way of learning how native English speakers really speak
and it's the best way to hear the rhythm and also to hear how we link words into
one another. I've been teaching English for about 15 years now and I can tell
you that the students with the best pronunciation are not the students
who've lived in England, they're the students who've learned English by
listening to music! Honestly! And it's such an easy thing to do. I'm sure your
favourite song in English is 3 or 4 minutes, just listen to it, learning
the lyrics and imitating exactly how the singer sings the song, alright, and then
you're walking around the house, you're driving your car and you're singing the
song with a perfect English pronunciation that you can then
transition into your spoken English and when native English speakers are
speaking to you... surprise surprise... you can understand it, you're gonna
recognize the words, recognise the sounds and you're going to understand it!
Number 3 is to not learn words in English... don't learn words in English...
learn phrases! If you just focus on single words in English then when people
are speaking to you it's kind of natural that you translate every word that you
know, it's quite an ineffective way of learning a language and a much more
effective way is to learn groups of words or chunks and both use them when
you're speaking English and recognize them when people speak to you. Alright, a
couple of examples of chunks are, "Do you know if..." Alright and it's important to
learn the real pronunciation of this, listen to how we actually pronounce it.
Do you know if... D'ya know if... D'ya know if... D'ya know if it's gonna be hot
tomorrow? Do you know if John's going to the party? Do you know if they're working
in Spain tomorrow? Learn the group of words and then you'll recognize it when
people say it to you, and you won't have to worry about understanding that part
of the sentence. For example, if someone says to you 'Do you know if Sandra's
going to the party tomorrow?' you understand 'Do you know if...' – it's a chunk that
you've already learned – 'Do you know if...' You recognize it, you don't worry about
it. And then you understand Sandra / party /
tomorrow... Alright, hey even if you don't understand every single word in the
sentence you get the idea and you understand the meaning of that sentence.
Learn chunks! Not words!
The fourth thing I want you to do is listen to a podcast or watch YouTube
videos on a topic there is something that you generally talk about. Let's
imagine you work in I.T, in a computer company. If you're using your English
every day to talk about computers, to talk about software or app development... watch
English YouTube videos or listen to English podcasts about technology! First
of all, it's something that interests you so you're gonna actually want to listen
to it. I love listening to entrepreneurial podcasts because it really interests me.
It's not... I don't feel like 'bufff.. I've got to listen to this entrepreneurial
podcast tomorrow', y'know? I really enjoy it, I listen to it and I walk around the
house listening to it, I listen to it when I'm driving my car, I listen to it
while I'm eating breakfast and it's interesting to me so I pay attention. If
you're doing this in English it's also a great exercise for you to not focus on
understanding every single word in the sentence - that's not important - it's a
great exercise for you to pick out the most important words and try to get a
general idea of what they're talking about.
Yes, native speakers speak quickly, teachers will often speak a little bit
more slowly perhaps or maybe more easy to understand, but if you go to central
London and you're speaking to someone there who has never ever spoken to a
foreigner before then they might speak incredibly quickly so it's great
practice for you to listen to something that's interesting for you at full speed
in English in a podcast or a YouTube video.
And finally the fifth thing I want you to do is focus a bit more on informal
English and slang and common expressions that we always use but they don't teach
you in the textbooks. Let me give you an example of this... So you might know my
wife is Spanish and when we first started going out
I took her to England to visit my family and my friends and doing that in a
foreign language it's... you know... she was probably a bit nervous and she was
thinking, alright, I've got to make sure my English is is the best it can be
for this moment and I remember introducing her to one of my best
friends and I introduced them and my friend said to her "how's tricks?"
How's tricks? That was the first thing he said to her and she was like, what?? How's
tricks?? Of course, 'How's tricks?' simply means 'how
are you?' in English but in an informal English. Obviously, it's slang and
immediately she felt like whoah, I'm not gonna understand this guy at all. You
know, she lost all confidence in her English, she thought I'm... just, what am i
doing? I don't understand any English at all! Yes, my friend probably should have
said "how are you?" or something more understandable for a non-native speakers
but it's also a great idea for you to learn informal slang English to help you
understand native speakers more easily and not get lost in a conversation just
because somebody's used a really really informal word that you never learn in
textbooks or in typical English classes in your country.
Alright, so these are 5 things that you can do starting now, you can do all these
things, you can take action to improve your listening skills in English. It's
not going to happen from one day to the next but they are also not very
difficult things to do. Learning slang is fun, I loved learning slang in different
languages. Listening to podcasts that you enjoy,
that's fun! It's interesting, listening to short YouTube videos or songs that you
love and learning the words... that's fun! Alright, and then learning phrases that
you're gonna hear all the time on TV, on YouTube, in songs and also learning the
linking sounds between words in English, these are such effective practices to
help you improve your English that you're gonna see results and it's gonna
make you feel great about yourself and you'll realize that you're soon gonna start
to understand English more easily than you did before. So take action! There are
a couple of videos I want you to watch next... that one on linking sounds in
English and that one is an interview I did in which we discussed 17 things you
can do to improve your listening skills in English. So watch those and I'll see
you in the next class. Have a great week! Bye for now!

TAG: Poznaj mnie bliżej / TAG: Meet me w/ENG sub - Duration: 9:34.
Hi everyone, I'm Martyna!
And today I'm coming with a tag!
Tequila tagged me in it - of course, you should check out her profile.
Or maybe it's here.... :D
And it's a tag called "Meet me".
We have 12 questions here,
and all of them are about ME! :D
I want to tell you more about myself :)
Keep on watching!
First question: What you have to have on you before you leave the house?
And I was thinking about the answer, because
I don't thing there is anything THAT necessery for me to have it.
I believe I can survive without phone or my bag, but
the only thing I really like to have is money.
My parents tought me, that
I always should have at least 10 euro with me!
You never know when you will need them!
Even when I'm taking a car and I'm not planning to buy anything.
But sometimes your car can break down and you need to take a bus!
You can get thirsty or hungry..
So yeah, I'm really trying to have some change in my pocket,
even when I'm going somewhere around the house.
Question two: Date of birthday and nameday?
My birthday is 21.10. and nameday 30.01.
Martyna's nameday is only once a year!
And I don't know many people who are celebrating their nameday...
Of course it's not a big party or anything,
but it's more of the family celebration.
I honestly really like this tradition,
because it's another reason to give (and get) a gift! ;)
Question three: What was my favorite game when I was a child?
When I'm thinking about my childhood
I miss only (don't know English translation) jumping rubber & jumping rope.
But as a kid, I wouldn't be able to say what was my favorite game.
I remember that I was playing with my sister,
we had 1000 Barbie dolls
and we loved to play with them.
So yeah, I don't have one favorite game.
All my childhood was joyfull!
Question four: My favorite everyday hairstyle?
I really like to have a loose hare.
I don't fell very well when I have to go outside in a ponytail.
Now I really like to do half / half, as you can see :p
But the only thing I really need to feel good is my bangs!
I can't imagine myself without it.
I have bangs since 3rd grade!
I was 8/9 years old! :D
It's almost 20 years... :p
Question five: Name of my first love?
I won't talk about kindergarten or primary school,
when I had a crush :D
But I didn't have a boyfriend :D
My first boyfriend, with whom
I was for many years was Robert.
Question six: The worst lesson at schoole?
I don't even have to think too long.
It's a history, for 100%!
Even though I was studying social studies and
it is definitely more on humanistic part of sciene, where you have more history lessons,
yada
yada
yada
yada
yada :D
I didn't know how to learn history from the beggining!
I get my first F at history classes,
I didn't learn a thing for all those years.
In high schoole I was writing my test with my phone
because we had free WiFi at schoole...
But even then I was getting E's :p
So now you can imagine how dumb I am :D
That's all story about history :D
But! I'm trying to share knowladge about Polish history.
And I care about it a lot.
Even with small things, like write a Facebook post
in English, so my other friends can learn about important dates for Polish people.
Question 7: How tall are you?
I'm 1,6 m! 1,59 m in my ID :D
Maybe I grow up since my 18th b-day :D
But honestly - everyone says we're super short
but I think that most of my girlfriends
1,60 - precisely!
Most of people I know are not super tall!
So MAAAYBE
it's normal to have 1,60 and YOU giants, are too big! :D
Question 8: Are you a home-bird or a party animal?
In my case everything is determinded by my company.
With my friends in Poland
I can go out every week.
But... what do we mean by "party"?
Club, drinking, going back home at 6 a.m.?
Or simple bar where I can drink or not, and talk with my friends like normal human being? :D
If we think about the second one, I definitely prefer to go out with my friends.
But if I had to go out with no reason,
or even worse
go out to drink an alcohol....
NOOO.
And for sure I wouldn't go with boring people (like not my really good friends, just to party)!
I'd spend this time much better alone.
I'd not spend money that way :D
Question 9: Do you like to be surrounded by people?
Yes, yes, yes!
I like to have a company, I don't like to
spend time alone.
For example, when I was studing,
when I had to study, I prefered to go to the library and do it there
even so I wasn't with my friends!
But if we are talking about people on the concerts...
I hate them :D and I hate shopping malls!
I don't like when people are slowing me down
or making me feel uncomfortable.
Question 10: Do you prefer: Christmas or Easter?
I like both the same!
But I like sunny weather on Easter more than snow :p
But I can't pick one,
both are very important for me, because of my family.
Question 11: What do you like to do when you have an evening only for youself?
TV, Netflix, book, blanket,
laptop...
and nothing more!
... ok pizza :D
Question 12: Your nickname?
In primary school, when I was very young
I never have any!
But my current nickname is just a first part of my surname :p
I won't tell, because it's easy to figure out the second part of it :D
It's so obvious that people are calling me like this,
that I'm surprised that no one thought about it before :p
In high schoole,
people were calling me Emsi.
My best friends use it till today
and if I need a nick online it's also always emsi.
And I really like it to be honest :p
On the other hand my folks,
even so I'm 27 already,
are calling me "Tunia".
And I was "Tunia" since forever,
I even have a pick from kindergarten on the slide
where you can see on my pinny huge "TUNIA" and next to it "MARTYNA" :P
That's all! It was so quick guys!
I WANT TO TELL YOU MOREEEE!
I want to tag girls from channels:
I hope you like it
and you learn something new about me.
If you do, please give it a thumbs up, share a comment,
and of course I'd be pleased when you subscribe to my channel!
Ahhh, and I forgot to tell you!
I have a new blog - so if you want to read what I have in mind
you should check it out!

MAD MIKE HUGHES TO LAUNCH HOMEMADE ROCKET TO PROVE FLAT EARTH - Duration: 6:10.
hey welcome back and in today's video
flat earth it looks like this what is that flat earthers they're taking a step
further an individual known as Mike Hughes Mad Mike Hughes an inspiration to
us all check this out Mad Mike Hughes plans to take the rocket
built from salvaged metal on a flight across the Mojave Desert on Saturday he
stated he says I don't believe in science says Flat Earth they're set to
launch himself in his rocket
what could go wrong on Saturday limousine driver plans to launch himself
on a mile-long flight over the Mojave Desert in a rocket of his own making his
name is Matt mock use his steam-powered rocket is built of salvaged metals his
Launchpad is repurposed from a used mobile home and he is confident this
will mark the first step toward proving that the earth is flat it's the most
interesting story in the world Hughes told The Associated Press of the
jury-rigged quest to overturn more than two millennia of scientific knowledge
and the whole thing is costing him just 20 thousand twenty thousand dollars
according to the AP it goes without saying but we'll say this anyway do not
try this at home or anywhere the plan as stated is to send himself 1800 feet high
in the air at the speed of 500 miles per hour before finally pulling out his
parachutes which one hopes will not be the same ones he used for another launch
in 2014 huge 61 told a flat earth community web show that the flight which
the AP said took him a quarter mile across the Arizona desert ended with he
pulled his parachutes two of what she said we're at least 20 years old at the
time and one of which didn't open Greg go in there I'm making the video

parachutes he said that NASA astronauts John Glenn
and Neil Armstrong maintained that all of them have been involved in the roots
of deception that the earth is round by god I don't give gas if he's gonna say
if he's gonna launch himself in space from a trailer park made out of some tin
cans in a coca-cola bottle this man's got this man's got some pause I think
that we should give him a chance let's watch see what does gonna make for
interesting story anyways I am looking forward to following up on this video he
says they have not put a man into space yet there are 20 different space
agencies here in America and I'm the last person that that's put a man in a
rocket and launched it comparing himself to Evel Knievel he promised to launch
himself from a California racetrack that year the first step of this team powered
leap towards space he had a Kickstarter raised 310 dollars of its one hundred
and fifty thousand dollar goal I wonder I wonder how that's going here's the
Kickstarter it's got three hundred ten dollars in it a lot of people are really
believing in this guy if you guys want to if you guys want to pledge get this
guy to go I will put the link in the description below he's got a GoFundMe
raised nearly eight thousand for use a lot of people are raising a lot of a lot
of money for this guy look at that rocket a lot of people really I mean you
got to give it he built this out of trailer park scraps look at that what
does a co2 cartridge it's the bomb man it's the bomb this is the greatest the

Cops Don't Think There Can Be Any Survivors Of Horrible Crash, Then Find Miracle In Backseat
God is not out of the miracle-working business.
Whether you have come to know that as a truth in your own life or through someone else's,
miracles are taking place every day.
I love sitting down with my elders, listening to stories of all the miraculous and divine
things that God has done in their lives long before my existence was a thought.
Though I have not witnessed or experienced a supernatural phenomenon firsthand, hearing
how God has moved in the lives of people I know and love reminds me that His power is
just as available to me as it is to anyone else.
God's divine intercession can come in all shapes and sizes, depending on the life of
the person for whom He is moving.
For someone who has spent the majority of their life in foster care, the miracle might
be an adoption.
For a person who has spent a decade trying to get pregnant, the miracle might be conception.
In the case of one toddler named Josiah, the miracle was his survival.
Josiah was riding in the car with his mother, Alesia Maddox, her best friend, his uncle,
and his cousin when the vehicle they were in ran into a wall going about 80 mph and
spun out of control.
Tragically, the other four passengers were killed instantly.
Images of the car accident would be enough to convince any viewer that no one should
have made it out of the tragedy alive…but not only did Josiah escape death, he did so
completely unharmed.
No broken bones, no scratches, no bumps, no bruises, no hits.
Truly miraculous!
"His name says it all: Josiah," his aunt said.
Josiah is a biblical name that means "God has healed."
While it is an absolute tragedy that four lives were lost in this horrific accident,
the miracle of Josiah's survival should be not be overlooked.
It is a true blessing that he is alive with no damages.
Sadly, none of the other four passengers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the
crash.
If they had been, the outcome may have been different.
"The child was the only one that survived and was the one that was actually buckled
in," said Lt. Mike Shaw.
"Speed and seat belts — it's the main thing we talk about all the time.
The simple fact of doing the speed limit will save your life."
Hopefully this story will encourage people to be intentional about abiding by safety
procedures and remind them of God's faithfulness, even in tragedy and heartbreak.

【MUKBANG】 [KFC] 30 Pieces Of THE NEW Limited Red Hot Chicken! [8141kcal] [CC Available] - Duration: 8:11.
Hello its Kinoshita Yuka (English subs by ~Aphexx~)
so today! tadaa I bought 30 of these limited release red hot chicken
usually I'm always buying some colonel's original along with these limited ones
but to make things simple I bought ONLY red hots today
this appears to be only available during this winter red hot sauce. you receive 1 packet per piece of chicken
and since I picked up 30 chicken
I gots all the hot sauces dang that brings a smile to my face
I kind of prefer these red hots over the originals
and since these are here for only a short time I've gotta get my fill of these red hots
itadakimasu
cola is perfect with chicken
I'll start things off by eating this on its own
its my favorite piece of the chicken the skin is so crispy and the meat is so juicy
the spicy ones are yummy but its not that I like it for the spice but because its so darn crunchy
just biting into it releases so much of the chicken juices ~ I just can't get enough of it `
and I'll wash down those chicken juices with this cola
HEAVENLY
and now I'll try it using this red hot sauce
without the sauce its already sort of spicy so I wonder how much hotter it will make it
so this is what it looks like
it looks like a thickened version of tabasco and it looks so spicy
I totally thought the sauce would be a bit thinner
hot pretty hot
a very chili heavy sauce its very hot but it has a nice amount of flavor
with a hint of garlic
hot habanero like
its the type of heat that still burns your mouth and lips after eating
for people who are really into spicy foods this red hot chicken won't be that spicy for you guys
but with this sauce even those spice lovers might just be satisfied with this chicken and sauce
as for me, I enjoy the flavors even without the sauce but I kind of like to experience the spice every once in a while
so 15 here and 15 here totaling 30
lately they've been adding this cut of chicken
its almost like a eating chicken wings
and to change things up I'll try another with sauce
spicy
but its not a 1 dimensional spice its got plenty of garlic and habanero flavors.... so yummy
because its so spicy I'm going through a lot of cola
I just noticed that the color of the chicken and what I'm wearing today are so similar
wearing chicken colored clothes and eating 30 chickens would make the the spirit/embodiment of chicken
ever since I was a little kid I always dreamed of becoming one
15 remain
they've cooled a bit and are so crunchy
so I know I've said that I bought ONLY red hot chickens today
but... I also picked up some red hot shrimps
and why did I keep this a secret from you guys? ~I won't say~
and this shrimp also comes with some red hot sauce
K, its covered with these thin crunchy flakes
so crispy its filled with minced up shrimp and so yummy
its nice to take a break from eating something fried with this fried thing
these have gotten pretty cold so I'm going to go warm them up
chicken is yummiest when warm
only 5 remain I'm really starting to dig this sauce
last one itadakimasu
last mouthful itadakimasu
~there wasn't much left on it~
all done gochisosamadeshita
KFC's red hot chicken was so yummy
I've got a bunch of these sauces left over but they were very yummy as well
when you put this over the chicken it really made it so you couldn't get enough of it
I only had 1 red hot shrimp but that was very yummy as well
when you eat spicy things it makes your mouth and lips burn but after a bit you just can't get enough of it
and to wash all that grease down cola is the best stuff
it was all so yummy won't you all please give it a try?
and as always thanks for watching and if there is anything you want me to do or eat please tell me in the comment section if you liked this video please hit the like and subscribe buttons BAI BAI

Let the Girl Kill Craft Beer Bar - Bars and Restaurants in Bangkok [Video #1] - Duration: 3:07.
Alrighty then!
Welcome to the twelfth video of Bangkok Unmasked!
The YouTube channel that helps you get the most out of your visit to Bangkok city!
If you're new here, please consider subscribing!
In this video I'm going to do Bangkok Unmasked's first bar review; the oddly named 'Let The
Girl Kill'.
This bar is a reincarnation of the very popular 'Let the Boy Die'.
A bar that was forced to close its doors earlier this year due to disputes with its neighbors.
'Let The Girl Kill' is basically a shop house that has been transformed into a very cool
hipster hangout.
I loved the vivid red dragon on the wall behind the bar's, I think, 13 taps!
The bar is basically like a miniature version of the Mikkeller on Ekkamai Soi 10, that has
been squeezed into a shop house!
If you're looking for good, reasonably priced, craft beer, and a laid-back ambiance, this
is going to be your kind of place!
Check out a shot of the craft beers that they currently have on offer.
'Let The Girl Kill' also has a decent selection of snacks available.
The menu isn't massive, but what they have is solid 'beer food and snacks'.
Me being me, a greedy fat bastard, I went for the pork knuckle, which was very well
executed, and left me totally satisfied after a couple of pints of Guinness and a bottle
of a German wheat beer that I'm very partial to.
So you can get a feel for the place, check out this video that I shot inside.
'Let The Girl Kill' is located a bit less than 500 meters from Hua Lamphong MRT Station.
It's near the corner of Khao Lam and Charoen Krung Roads.
Google maps will show you the way!
This is what the place looks like from the outside.
If you're in the Chinatown/Charoen Krung area, it's well worth checking out this bar!
Anyway...That's it for this video.
Expect a new video shortly.
It should be posted in about a week, or so.
For all you techies out there, this video was shot on a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, and
edited using HitFilm Express.
Finally, please don't forget to subscribe to this channel through the button below!
Also, if you have any comments on this VLOG post, please do write something in the comments
section!
Thank you very much for watching.
I'll see you next week. Goodbye.

The Adam Story How Eve was Created - Duration: 2:01.
Adam knew the names of everything.
Sometimes he talked to the angels, but they were preoccupied with worshiping Almighty Allah
Therefore, Adam felt lonely.
One day he slept and when he awoke he found,
near his head, a woman gazing at his face with beautiful, tender eyes.
Ibn Abbas and a group of the companions of the Prophet narrated that
when Iblis was sent out of Paradise and Adam was accommodated therein,
Adam was alone in Paradise and did not have a partner from whom he could get tranquillity.
He slept for some time and when he woke up, he saw a woman whom Allah had created from his ribs.
So he asked her: "Who are you?"
She replied: "A woman.
" He asked: "Why have you been created?"
She replied: "So that you could find tranquillity in me."
The angels, trying to find out the extent of his knowledge, asked him:
"What is her name, 0 Adam?"
He replied: "Eve."
They asked: "Why was she so named?" He replied: "Because she was created from something living."
Muhammad Ibn Ishaaq and Ibn 'Abbas related that Eve was created from the shortest left rib of Adam while he was sleeping,
and after a while she was clothed with flesh.
