Youtube daily report Nov 24 2017

look at this, you'll see!

well, another video of Detección Metálica. Today we are in this river

if you notice, we have the bedrock here, quite superficial, so ...

here below there should be good gold

today I have brought all gold search material, the ramp and everything

but I still do not know if I'm going to use it

because it's a lot of cold here, we must be at six degrees Cº

I think what I'm going to do first is panning a couple pans to see if

there is really gold here to see if we have luck

I'm going to try to make the first hole here

If you realize we have this big stone

here of shelter that I suppose that everything heavy material will fall in this area and in addition

we have here the bedrock, so I guess this does not have much depth

let's see if I'm right and I do not have to dig a lot...

I do not have any intention to get wet today

this is freezing dude! my hands are frozen

as if they were nailed to me blades, I swear

hu hu hu

it does not look bad the gravel... not very compact...

but it does not look bad

It would be great to be able to get gold in the first bucket

well this is already

let's do this to see if by chance there is some gold here

Look, there's a little gold here

It's very small but there's gold, that's a good sign

to see if you can see it here, with super microscope camera mode...

it's that yellow dot that you see there

that's gold

it's a good sign we're going to

keep digging to see if by chance we found something little bigger

My back is sore and frozen, you would not believe it!

look, we are already following the bedrock

this gravel that we are collecting now, supposedly, it should be good

because I'm taking it directly scratching from here

Let's see if I'm right and we found more gold there

doesn't look look bad ...

let's see if there is any gold here ...

no ... nothing here. I think I'm going to change plans

see how this goes ...

What I've been doing is following the bedrock

digging in this direction, but ... it starts to get very deep

it's enough

deep and as you can see we are not taking a lot of gold so

I'll think of something else to continue

Let's see what I can think of ...

It occurred to me to go to the other side of the river, that there are some cracks there ...

to see if with the tools I have I can take a little dirt, panning it ...

and see if there is more gold out there ...

we will see!

see... all this material that is deposited here

here is a good deposit of material, maybe you will not see it with the reflection of the water

all this is what I want to catch and pan

I brought my manual pump

I had not had it for a long time ... this is like a kind of giant syringe

that will help me to catch all the gravel that is there, stuck between the cracks

let's see if it works, and we managed to fill at least a couple of pans

to see what appears

look at this dirt... that looks good

this compact dirt

here it is almost certain that there will be gold

ok, look now, do you see the areas where I can not reach with the shovel?

It would be these cracks here ...

I'm going to try to suck it with this

Let's see if I can do it

here we go

here's a good crack, but it's all covered with compacted material

and I have to release it a bit with the lever before using the pump and

catch all the gravel

I already have the bucket full

It has cost me five times more than filling it in the hole where we were before

let's see if it was worth it and we found some gold here

second pan of the bucket and see what's here, look

can you see it with the reflection of the water?

there it is, can you see it?

It's not that it's too big but ...

for the moment the largest we have found so far.

I'm going to approach you, you'll see

There you have it, and I still have two other pans in that bucket

let's see what else appears ...

look at this, you will see

Behold

ost * a

wtf! But how much is here!

there is more than what I had seen at the beginning

How many points there are!

slowly ...

wtf ... wtf wtf wtf .... dude

1 ... 2 ... 3 ... 4 ...

There are about 5 points or something like that men!

I'm going to approach you so you can see

look all that gold there ...

it's a lot... it's very fine but there's a lot

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ... at least eight points

dude and in the last pan!

well ... let's pick it up and I think we're going to leave it for today

Is getting late, it's already putting the sun, and I do not want to be here ...

when it's no longer sunny because ... I'm going to freeze dude

I'm going to show you, before we leave, all the gold that we have taken, you will see ...

Well there it is!

that is all the gold that I have taken today

let's see ... it's not that they are very impressive pieces but ...

there are a lot of gold points

many...

look

Well, I tell you, it was not too much but I'm happy

when we got there, in that hole, I thought we were not going to get anything out ...

So nothing

that's all for today, see you in the next video

About the 10,000 Hour Rule: The Musicality Podcast - Duration: 8:20.

Ever wondered why some people seem to have a gift for music have you ever

wished that you could play by ear sing in tune improvise and jam you're in the

right place time to turn those wishes into reality

welcome to the Musicality podcast with your host Christopher Sutton. In our recent

interview with Ged Brockie of the Guitar and Music Institute he made reference to

the 10,000 hour rule when we were talking about the relative importance of

talent and hard work for a musician I wanted to pick up on that and talk about

it in this episode because it's a useful concept but one that's often

misunderstood have you heard of the 10,000 hour rule if so you might have

heard someone say something like it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become

an expert 10,000 hours works out to practicing 6 hours a day every day for 4

or 5 years if you're a hobbyist musician spending just 30 minutes a day then

you'd be looking at 60 years to hit that 10,000 hour mark this is something

that's referred to across various areas including music people have run the

numbers to show that the Beatles put in this kind of effort for songwriting and

that Mozart did to become so incredible while still a child but that simple

statement can be seriously misleading so let's unpack it a bit where did this

rule come from what does actually say and what can we

usefully learn from it for our own musical development the 10,000 hour rule

was coined by Malcolm Gladwell in his book outliers it's a catchy and

inspiring idea and one which is now really entered mainstream culture the

problem with this rule is that people miss remember it or they hear it wrong

from a friend in the first place you'll hear people say it takes 10,000 hours to

become really good at something but that's not true and it's not what

Gladwell claimed the clue to this confusion is actually right there in the

title of his book outliers Gladwell wasn't talking about becoming good at

something or even excellent he was talking about mastery the chess

grandmasters Olympic athletes internationally touring concert

Ernests so don't be discouraged if you can't practice six hours a day for five

years for most of the musicians who mentioned the 10,000 hour rule to me

their aspirations are to become an excellent musician someone who can jam

easily and confidently with friends perform in concerts maybe even make a

living playing music all of these can be achieved long before that 10,000 hour

mark so it may not take you 10,000 hours but there are still some valuable things

we can pick up from this idea of the 10,000 hour rule the first is that the

way you practice matters this is a detail that's often glossed over

but it's vital clearly just putting in hours is not enough spending 10,000

hours doing mindless drills or working on the same easy material clearly isn't

going to turn you into a superstar the original idea of the 10,000 hour rule

actually comes from research by Anders Ericsson of Florida State University who

published a paper analyzing violin students at conservatory and how they

practiced notably Erikson himself believed that talent doesn't exist and

everything boils down to the way you practice more on that and this concept

of deliberate practice in a future episode so however many hours you're

going to spend make sure you're practicing in an effective way you might

like to check out episode 10 with Gerald click steam for some great insights on

how to spend your practice time and I'll put a couple of links in the show notes

to more on that the second useful thing we can learn from the 10,000 hour rule

is that talent is mostly a myth we've heard some interesting and different

opinions on this from our guests on the podcast so far but one thing has been

unanimous however much natural ability you might or might not have at the start

it's the work you do to improve as a musician that matters the most so don't

worry if you feel untalented in music the true greats have all put in the time

while the 10,000 hour number can seem intimidating there's also something

deeply reassuring about knowing that becoming great really is just a matter

of hard and smart work and as this show is dedicated to exploring that

for all the inner skills like playing by ear improvising and creating your own

music - the third useful thing to take away from the 10,000 hour rule is this

is the long journey as we talked about with Jed on the last episode there are

no quick fixes in music if you truly want to become good in today's world of

overnight success stories and everybody wanting shortcuts it's good to be

reminded that things which are worthwhile in life take time in fact

that's what the word worthwhile means it's worth your while to do it by

knowing that everything in music is learn about and the journey is going to

take time you can pursue your musicality with the mindset that will lead you step

by step to success so those are the three valuable lessons from this concept

of the 10,000 hour rule how you practice matters talent is mostly a myth and this

is a long journey before I wrap up though I do want to address a couple of

other important points like the idea that the 10,000 hour rule is about

getting good rather than being about absolute mastery there are other

misconceptions and misunderstandings that are worth clearing up one is the

dangerous idea that we're talking about a fixed end point that you're going to

have to put in 10,000 hours before something happens

of course that's total nonsense if you're pursuing 10,000 hours of musical

training and you're practicing in the right way then every single one of those

hours is going to make you a better musician

it's not an either/or or an on/off thing where you're not good until you hit

10,000 hours and then suddenly you're an instant expert it's going to be a

gradual process and one that's continually rewarding as you get better

and better so don't be overwhelmed not only do you not necessarily need 10,000

hours to get to your personal goal in music you're going to be getting closer

and closer with every hour that you put in the other really dangerous and

misleading thing about the rule is it gives the impression that there's just a

simple straight line to success and actually even the way I just described

it might give the impression that it's just hour after hour getting better and

better as we all know musical training does not proceed in

straightline not only are there tons of areas you're going to want to explore

and improve in you will inevitably encounter things that come easier and

others that are hard to progress with you'll take diversions and wrong terms

and your path to success will be a very personal and winding one so when

thinking about the 10,000 hour rule you also need to keep a realistic sense that

this isn't a simple and predetermined course you're following that's actually

why we have such a flexible training system at musical you because it's vital

that you be able to plan your training and adjust it along the way to perfectly

match your background your goals and your experiences there are going to be

twists and turns anticipate that and get the support and guidance you need to

help you correct course and you'll be able to persist and overcome and get to

your goal so there's just one more thing to mention regarding the 10,000 hour

rule and that is how exactly should a musician spend those hours we've already

mentioned one aspect of the answer the way you practice is important but what

you practice is of course to stay tuned we'll be tackling both of those in

future episodes thank you for listening to the musicality podcast this episode

TRUMP IS ON FIRE! Taunts NFL Commissioner With Epic Statement About His National Felon League - Duration: 5:13.

TRUMP IS ON FIRE!

Taunts NFL Commissioner With Epic Statement About His National Felon League.

And this is why we all love President Donald J. Trump.

Because the NFL and its ingrate ball tossing illiterate players have effectively managed

to put an end the most popular spectator sport in America, Thanksgiving Day did not feature

the best football anymore.

But that doesn't mean there weren't any NFL fireworks courtesy of President Donald

Trump.

President Trump retweeted an article shared by Dan Scavino Jr. about the NFL's poor

ratings, pinning them on the Giants' Olivier Vernon taking a knee as a serviceman sang

the anthem this Thanksgiving day.

But as usual, Trump didn't just stop there, he also incorporated the now infamous statement

from the Texans owner Bob McNair's about the "inmates running the asylum'.

But he rephrased it a bit and wrote "players are the boss!" at the NFL.

The ignoramus that is the ball tossing Vernon has, of course, been kneeling since Week 3

so this protest isn't necessarily news.

But the lack of support for Thanksgiving games does prove the American public as a whole

are sick and tired of the politicization being done by people who get paid on average 2.1

million dollars a year to toss around a ball.

That's more money than most of us will see in our entire lifetimes.

Although the NFL and left-wing media outlets like ESPN are set on trying to convince us

that since there are so many games per week people are suffering from "NFL Fatigue,"

yeah right!

Via Fox News:

Hey, NFL owners, tired of half-empty stadiums?

This isn't hard.

Tell your players to stand up for America.

NJ bar boycotts NFL, holds fundraiser for veterans instead.

Co-owners of Woody's Roadside Tavern speak out on the success of their Sunday event on

'Fox & Friends.'

I'm from Green Bay; my high school colors were green & gold and I am part owner of the

Green Bay Packers from when they sold stock after the 1997 Super Bowl victory.

So, it took quite a bit to get me to boycott the NFL, but they managed it.

Until the owners require their players to stand for the national anthem, or sit for

the game, I won't watch a minute, and I'm not alone.

Since Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the anthem in a misguided protest against

police violence, the NFL has been hemorrhaging fans.

Both TV viewership and attendance at stadiums are well down and once people find other ways

to spend their Sundays, they may not come back.

Let there be no doubt, the NFL is a business and the owners of those billion dollar plus

franchises have a problem.

A bunch of their players want to play social justice games, but their core audience, the

folks who pay the bills, just want them to play football.

And we really don't like the disrespect shown to the anthem, the flag and those who

fought for our country including those who came home in coffins with that flag draped

over them.

This Veterans Day weekend there was quite a duality.

The NFL went whole hog saluting the military and trying to mend fences.

Historically the league, and most of the players, have been very supportive of the military.

Part of that was the tens of millions of tax dollars the military paid them to put on displays

with the flag and flyovers for the recruiting value, but there was also a genuine bond for

the most part.

But at the same time there was a push to boycott the NFL.

I did my part on social media:

Like many others, seeing a bunch of pampered millionaires stealing the moment when we should

all come together in thanks for the freedoms we enjoy, and yes for those who safeguard

them, well that just flat pisses me off.

They say the protests are not against the anthem or the flag or the military for that

matter.

But that is garbage because the effect is to disrespect all of those things so they

can virtue signal their solidarity with the radical left.

They could do their social justice pandering whenever they want, and they made a conscious

choice.

By choosing to put the spotlight on themselves instead of the symbols of what makes this

country great.

That just doesn't sit well with those of us who served, or have family who did or who

just want to enjoy a football game without politics.

We get plenty of bitter arguments and displays of partisanship all day every day.

Football was a time to forget all that and just remember how much the Bears still suck.

They took that and even worse did so with divisive anti-police grievance mongering to

a crowd with a heavy component of Blue Lives Matters sentiment.

We will see if the NFL charm offensive worked, although the pictures of half empty stadiums

should sure give the owners cause to worry.

It's pretty simple to fix, tell the players to stand up for America or the rest of us

may sit out…permanently.

The bottom line here is that no matter what narrative the left wing media tries to spin

this on, people as a whole side with President Trump on this issue.

If this was indeed NFL fatigue then NFL stadiums wouldn't be half, or more, empty while college

football stadiums are practically full and have not suffered any decline in viewership

or attendance whatsoever.

Americans still love football, it's the NFL they refuse to watch!

what do you think about this?

Where He leads me I will follow - Duration: 6:59.

Since Jesus Christ called me I have been following Him, I have been going where He

sent me, and doing what He told me to do. I have abandoned my own life, my own

plans, my own country, my own family, my own business,

and I went where Jesus sent me, for many years. My wife and I have been following

Jesus and we've been testifying for Him.

For the last year I have been very ill, and I've prayed Jesus to heal me, which

He did not do. In that time I never went away from Jesus, I stayed with Him and

every day I did what he told me to do

He gave me messages to put on YouTube, He sent me to do things for Him which

I've been doing, but I never went away from Jesus. Eventually the sickness got

so severe that I ended up in hospital. I was diagnosed with rectal cancer and I

had to undergo an ileostomy. I am due for treatment for that cancer. I have

received a lot of advice from fellow believers on cures for cancer. I have

also been reprimanded, I've been judged by some who told me that I'm being

judged by God and that is why I'm sick. Dear friends in all of this time I've

never gone away from Jesus. I'm still following Jesus. I belong to Him

and I'm His property. He can use me as He pleases,

for his glory. I have to stay with Him and follow Him until the very end.

There's an old song that says:"Where He leads me I will follow," and that is my

decision, that is my ambition to go with Jesus and to follow Him, to do His will.

Jesus never promised us a good life. He did not promise us good health or

prosperity. He did say He will always be with us,

He will never leave us and He will never forsake us. He will be with us in

tribulation, and those who endure with Him until the very end, they will inherit

the prize of eternal life. What is important, is for us to stay with Jesus,

to submit ourselves to Him and allow Him to use us as He pleases. We ought to be

broken bread and crushed grapes. Bread needs to be broken before it can be

eaten. Grapes need to be pressed out before wine can

be made of it. We need to be usable pliable, moldable, for the kingdom of God.

The clay needs to be moldable for the Potter to mold it into something that is

useful to Him. If that clay is lumpy, then the Potter will throw at one side and

use another lump of clay to make the part that He wants to make. We are not

here for anything else but for the kingdom of God. Jesus called

me to follow Him until the very end and where He leads me, I will follow. What He

does with me is his own good pleasure, but it is my desire that I will bring

glory to Jesus until the very end. It is my desire that He will be pleased

with me. It is my desire to endure until the very end, and I want to hang on to

Jesus until the end. I want to bear fruit for His kingdom because if we do not

bear fruit then we cannot be pleasing to Him. If we do not remain in Him and with

Him, we cannot be fruit. If we run after our own devices and our own plans

and own remedies, we cannot be pleasing to Jesus.

We need to follow Him and go along the path that He leads and guides us because

that is the path to eternal life. The path that Jesus guides us is never easy

but it is the path to victory. There is only victory in Jesus if we follow Him and

stay with Him until the very end. We only overcome if we stay with Jesus,

through tribulation, through trials, if we bear our cross and follow Him until the

very end.

It is my desire to stay with Jesus and to follow Him, where He guides me,

until the very end. May Jesus bless you.

Jesus Christ is alive and hell is real. I am here to introduce you to Jesus

Christ so that you can know Him and follow Him and have eternal life.

that's a great advice, thanks

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo

want to win money so they use cheap ingredientsto win more money.

Why don't you eat this? this is healthy. And this is tasty! What do you think I shoud do?

My best advice would be to eat the salad

And the salad has only 152. I'm not sure about that!

Jose Mourinho: Man Utd players not to blame vs Basel… I have seen worse with Chelsea - Duration: 1:56.

Jose Mourinho: Man Utd players not to blame vs Basel… I have seen worse with Chelsea

The Red Devils boss is not new to losing to the Swiss side, having suffered defeats home and away as Chelsea manager in 2013. In almost identical fashion, the Blues lost 1-0 at St.

Jakob-Park on matchday five in their Champions League group four years ago. Liverpool star Mohamed Salah got the late winner on that occasion, while Michael Lang netted in the 89th minute last night.

However, after Uniteds 1-0 loss to Basel, Mourinho insisted the performance was not below par. "I cannot complain or blame the players," Mourinho said.

"I think we play a match like this 10 times and nine times we win comfortably" Jose Mourinho "I think we play a match like this 10 times and nine times we win comfortably but the one was now.

"I lost here with Chelsea also in the last minute, we had one shot on target and played really bad, but that wasnt the case today.

"I think we were really, really good in the first half." On United's approach to the match, Mourinho added: "We played against a team with five defenders, we knew that we tried to play with three attacking players, that worked in the first half.

"We didn't score in the second half, we knew one point was enough. "In the end, we lost so its hard for me to be upset with the players.

"In the first half, the attitude and football was good. An easy match to win.

It's great for them [Basel], now they have a good chance to qualify." A point for Manchester United in their final match of Group A at home to CSKA Moscow in a fortnight will guarantee them top spot and a place in the Champions League knockout stages.

They are now three points ahead of CSKA and Basel.

ENG SUB - GOLD FEVER in the river! - GOLD RUSH in real life, gold panning - Detección Metálica 126 - Duration: 11:23.

look at this, you'll see!

well, another video of Detección Metálica.

Kyon: ... Well, I'll just go head back in.

Mikuru: Um, would you like me to accompany you?

Mikuru: Ah, you're right... I should've been back at the Yakisoba Café by now.

Kyon: You should hurry back then. I haven't got any urgently pressing matters anyway.

Mikuru: I see... Will you be coming to see the Calligraphy Club's event then?

Kyon: Of course, I'll be there.

Mikuru: I'll look forward to seeing you. Feel free to come for some yakisoba too if you like. Seeya.

Ah, such words. I'm in heaven. But...

Of course, Asahina-san herself would never in her wildest dreams expect that my business was entering her into the Miss North High Contest...

October Reading Wrap-Up | 2017 - Duration: 9:08.

Hi, it's Maija here with my October Wrap-Up. In this video I will be talking about

the books that I read in October and I'm going to do a separate video for the

comics that I read in October. I took part in the 30 Day Book Binge, which was run by

Misty from The Book Rat. And the idea of that challenge was to read every day

during the month of October, so I ended up reading quite a lot of comics, because

if I hadn't read anything during the day, it was an easy task and not a big

commitment to just read one issue of a comic or something. So that's why I'm

going to do a separate video of those comics.

I also took part in the Inktober challenge which was to do an ink drawing

every day during October and I managed to do 17 of those. If you want to see my

favorites of my Inktober drawings, let me know, and I will do a little video of

them. But let's start with the books. The first two things that I read in October were

the two Binti novellas, Binti and Binti: Home by Nnedi Okorafor. These are science

fiction novellas in the same series and there's going to be a third one as well,

and I think that's the final one. In the first one, Binti, Binti leaves home

to go to a university on another planet, which is an even bigger deal since

she is part of the Himba tribe which is these people who rarely leave their home.

I really liked this first novella, I think it is the perfect length. I get a good

grasp of the world and the character and the plot is just long enough to be

suited for novella-length perfectly. In the second one, Binti: Home, Binti

goes back to visit home. And this second novella is not a complete story. I really

liked the beginning, or the first half, with great themes of family and

belonging and of going home once you've been away and expected to be the same

while you are changed. Because of what happened in the first story,

Binti also suffers from PTSD, and I thought this was handled in a great way,

and it was a great way to deepen the character and make it seem like

what happened in the first novella really had repercussions. But the

second half of this novella didn't reach a satisfactory conclusion: we were sort

of left with a "To be continued", and now I'm left waiting for the third

novella to come out and sort of finish this story. I really like Binti as a

character, I think she is the strongest part of these novellas; she's smart and

resourceful and she changes and learns during her journey. And I also find how

she's written and her reactions understandable and realistic.

I gave Binti 4 stars and Binti: Home 3.5. Then I read another novella, A Taste

of Honey by Kai Ashante Wilson. This is set in the same world as his previous

novella, Sorcerer of the Wildeeps, but with different characters. And these are

sort of science fiction-fantasy mixes, so they are fantasy novellas with

science fiction elements in them. This one tells of Aqib, who is the son of the

Master of the Beasts of the royal family, and his romance with a Dalucan soldier

called Lucrio. Aqib lives in a country where to be found out to be gay means the

death sentence, while Lucrio's country is more accepting of gay relationships.

This is told in unchronological order, and the story unfurls during the first

days of their relationship as well as the years afterwards. And I liked this even

more than I liked Wilson's first novella. Aqib was really interesting and a

complex main character. Especially his conviction that the nobles, to which he

belongs, are a special breed and so much more higher than the servants and the

regular worker people. He really does deal with servants quite harshly,

especially in comparison to Lucrio, who is much kinder. This also continues with

the added science fictional elements familiar from The Sorcerer of the Wildeeps,

where there is this more technologically advanced people, who

these people call the Gods, who seem to be the descendants of aliens. I also

found it intriguing that in this country, women are the ones who can read and write

and do mathematics, but men still look down upon these skills as "women's

business". So this book has a lot of different interesting elements and

layers, and I would recommend it. The world that Wilson has created is so

fascinating. I gave this one four stars. Then I finished The Stone Sky by N. K.

Jemisin, the final book in the Broken Earth trilogy. This one continues

the story of Essun, a woman who tries to survive in an apocalyptic world while

trying to search for her daughter. This final book in the trilogy is focused on

delivering answers to the series' mysteries. Apart from Essun's

chapters, the two other viewpoint chapters give out so much new

information it really made me focus and read the book more slowly to take it all

in. I think when I reread the series all these answers that we learn in the third

book will really give new insight to the previous two, but it might make rereading

the third book feel less exciting, because I already know the answers it is

focused on giving... but you never know. I still loved following all our main

characters and finding out what happens to the Stillness, but I was still left

missing Essun a bit - she had more character moments in the previous books,

and I missed the focus on her a bit. I highly recommend this series to anyone

who is looking for fresh and relevant epic fantasy. It is so well thought out

in its plot, themes, and characters, and it holds out a mirror to our world

especially when it comes to things like internalized racism, systemic oppression,

and colonialism. I was satisfied with the ending, but like I said, I did miss

Essun a bit and I just had a bit of a harder reading experience, which is why I

took out half a star and gave this one 4.5 stars. Moving on to some more young

adult reads, next I read Alanna: The First Adventure, the first book in The Song of

the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce. I got this from the library, because I thought

it would be the perfect fit for 30 Day Book Binge, and it ended up being just

that. This tells about young Alanna of Trebond who switches places with her

brother and goes to study to be a knight under the name Alan of Trebond. I have

never read any Tamora Pierce before, since these aren't translated to Finnish -

if they were, I would have definitely picked them out as a kid. I found this

book so likeable and so easy to read! I just whisked through her life in the

knight school and her training to be a knight, and the only thing that was

slower for me and not as exciting was the final chapter, which had a bit more

of high fantasy elements. But I did like her school life a lot more than the more

adventurous part. One thing that did sadden me was that Alanna considered herself

to be inferior to the boys just because of the fact that she was a girl, although

I think other characters didn't seem to share

that point of view. I was just sort of left thinking about this, because I'm not

sure how I would have taken that as a kid reading this: whether I would have

agreed with Alanna. I'm not sure, this is just something that I was left thinking about.

But this was so delightfully entertaining, I gave it four stars.

And now for something completely different, a grim crime series. The first book is

Generation Loss by Elizabeth Hand. The main character is Cass Neary

and she's a photographer who had her 15 minutes of fame in the 70s during the

punk movement. Thirty years later she's down on her luck, but she gets this gig

to go interview this reclusive photographer on an island in Maine. She

also finds out that a lot of people go missing there, and this brings the

mystery part of the novel. And this book was incredibly nihilistic, grim, grimy,

gritty, and dark. The first part set during Cassandra's early years in New York

really brought this feeling of harsh streetlights, broken glass, drugs, and

alcohol, while the latter part was set in Maine and was made of cold winds, hard stone, and

icy water. I just felt cold the whole time when I was reading this. Cass is interested in

the damaged and the dying, be it people or nature or architecture, and the whole

book carries that feeling. The characters are really into photography and it is

talked about a lot, and I don't think that I am enough into photography to get the

full effect of the book. I also wasn't feeling the New York part, but I was

getting more into it when she arrived in Maine. All in all, it was very interesting

to see such a closed-off and antagonistic female main character, but

in the end I think this book was just a bit too dark for me. I would basically

give a content warning for everything for this book, but I will still continue

to read the second book, Available Dark, since it has some Finnish elements - even

though I just started it and all the Finnish that has been in this so far has

been off. Let's see what I think about it when I finish it. So these are all the

books that I read in October. I managed to read one of my own books, all the other

books were from the library. I'm trying to focus more on reading

my owned books during the last two months of the year. Stay tuned for my

Comics Wrap-Up, I will see you in that video, I hope you enjoyed this one, and

bye for now.

ETOPS - AVIÃO CRUZANDO O OCEANO - Duration: 5:42.

HI PEOPLE WELCOME ON BOARD

TODAY WE WILL TALK ABOUT ETOPS

AND WHAT IS ETOPS

IT MEANS EXTENDED OPERATIONS

AND WHAT IS IT FOR?

TO FLY A LONG DISTANCES OVER THE OCEAN

AN AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED

ETOPS IS THE AUTHORIZATION

IT IS FOR A TWIN-ENGINE AIRCRAFTS OR MORE

EVERYTHING IN AVIATION IS TO BE AS SAFER AS POSSIBLE

FORMERLY ONLY FOUR-ENGINE AIRCRAFTS COULD FLY OVER THE OCEAN

CROSS THE OCEAN IS WORRISOME BECAUSE

IN EMERGENCY THERE IS NO RUNWAY TO LAND

SO THEY CREATED ETOPS CLASSIFICATION

THERE ARE SOME CLASSIFICATIONS

ACCORDING TO AIRCRAFT AND AIRLINE RELIABILITY

FORMERLY THERE WAS ONLY ETOPS 120

IT MEANS THAT AN AIRCRAFT COULD CROSS THE OCEAN

SINCE THERE IS AN AIRPORT TO LAND IN 120 MINUTES FLYING

IT WAS A REASON FOR THE FLIGHT BEING LONGER

BECAUSE INSTEAD OF FLY STRAIGHT

TO GARANTEE THIS 120 MINUTES TO AN AIRPORT

IT HAD TO MAKE A DEVIATION ON THE ROUTE

TO BE NEAR (120 MINUTES) TO AN AIRPORT

WITH THE PROGRESS OF TECHNOLOGY

THE ETOPS TIME WAS INCREASING

FOR EXAMPLE, NOWADAYS WE HAVE A350

IT'S CLASSIFICATION IS ETOPS 370

THIS AIRCRAFTS CAN FLY 370 MINUTES TO AN AIRPORT

YOU CAN SEE HOW RELIABLE IT IS

IT REFLECTS IN A FASTER FLY

AND MORE SAVING

IT HELPS PASSENGERS AND THE COMPANY

FOR EXAMPLE AN NON AUTHORIZED ETOPS COMPANY

CAN FLY ONLY 60 MINUTES

IT IS A BIG DIFFERENCE

BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THE COMPANY CAN FLY ETOPS JUST BECAUSE THE AIRCRAFT IS HOMOLOGATED

COMPANY MUST BE HOMOLOGATED ETOPS AS WELL

IT NEEDS AIRCRAFT HOMOLOGATION MORE AIRLINE HOMOLOGATION

AIRLINE MUST PROVE THAT IT CAN GUARANTEE THE SAFETY OF THE AIRCRAFT

IN TERMS OF MAINTENANCE

IT MUST TRAINEE THE CREW

THE OPERATIONAL DISPATCH

THE MAINTENANCE PEOPLE

SO EVERYTHING MUST BE DONE TO BE ABLE TO FLY ETOPS

SINCE IT IS DIFFERENT OF A NORMAL OPERATION

THE COMPANY ALSO MUST HAVE A PLAN

IN CASE OF LANDING ON THIS ALTERNATIVE

LET'S SUPPOSE THIS ALTERNATIVE IS A VERY SMALL CITY

WITH NO STRUCTURE

TO RECEIVE THE PASSENGERS

LIKE HOTEL, FOOD...

SO, COMPANY MUST HAVE A PLAN

TO ACCOMMODATE PASSENGERS

OR REMOVE THE PASSENGERS TO ANOTHER PLACE

SEND FOOD

SEND MAINTENANCE PEOLPLE

TO FIX THE AIRCRAFT

SO, IT IS NOT ONLY THE RUNWAY

TO BE CONSIDERATE AN ALTERNATE

IT MUST HAVE A PLAN

HAVE YOU ALREADY NOTICED THAT

FOR EXAMPLE A FLIGHT FROM BRAZIL

TO JOHANESBURG

THERE SOME COMPANY WITH A FASTER FLIGHT

THAN OTHERS?

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE

WITHOUT SCALE

IN A DIRECT FLIGHT

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS

TO A FLIGHT BE FASTER THAN OTHERS

A COMPANY CAN HAVE A HOMOLOGATION ETOPS 120

AND THE OTHER ONE HAS A 180

SO THIS ONE IS ABLE TO FLIGHT MORE STRAIGHT

WITH LESS DEVIATION

AND A FASTER FLIGHT

SO THIS IS IT

AS EVERYTHING IN AVIATION IS DONE FOR SAFETY

AND AS AVIATION IS GETTING BETTER

ETOPS IS INCREASING

I HOPE YOU LIKED IT

【川柳】おかしいな 今日のタイトル 5・7・5【サラリーマン】 - Duration: 3:07.

Hello everyone! Virtual YouTuber Kizuna Ai here!

I know it's sudden, but, do you know "Salaryman Senryu"? (Small poems that are usually comical in nature, focused on human existence)

They start accepting applications everytime when winter starts, right?

It turns out that the winning works will receive a prize in cash!

And appear in different medias

If I get the prize and become more famous...

A lot more people will know me! Right?

Goood! I'll work hard to make the most prized work!

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiin!

"I feel the pressure everytime I call myself genius"

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiin!

"I would've liked to become an idol, Keyakizaka"

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiin!

"Livestream..."

"...everytime I make one, there's an issue"

Man! It's incredible!

The Senryu are flowing one after another!

This time I'll try to change the "taste"

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiiin!

"An A.I that desires to follow irrational instructions"

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiiin!

"Class change? YouTuber? A yearning"

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiin!

"Nevertheless..."

"...Don't take a YouTuber lightly"

Poc... poc... poc...

Chiiiiin!

So... something unexpected has occurred to me!

Is it alright if I say it?

Well...

Since I've thought of that, I'll tell you!

I'll lead the joke to Paradise!

"16 years..."

"...Right in the middle of a salaryman"

Man! Don't you think I read some very good Senryu?

In that case, I'll apply immediately!

Let's see...

"Regarding the requirements necessary to apply"

Hmm...?

"The people who can apply are..."

"Adults of legal age"

"Married minors"

"And also..."

"Employed minors, older than 18 years" (In Japan, the legal age is 20 years)

Well...

Eh?

I have the appearance of someone that's 16 years old...

...And I'm not married...

Even though it says: "Employed"

Well...

"Virtual Youtuber" is a profession?

Hmm...?

Profession!

Hmm...

Good! I'll say a poem!

"I'm Kizuna Ai, who can't participate in the Senryu competition!"
