Simple Composites In Photoshop - Duration: 6:23.
HEY GUYS
In today's video, we will see how to make a simple photo composition in Photoshop
Also known as Composites Compositions is the art of mixing photos and transforming them into a totally different photo
Watch the end of the video to see the final result
You will need one or more photos, to do this
The first step is to cut out your subject matter from the main subject of the photo, You pose to wear masks here too, just like we did in last week's video
Select everything you want to cut
Then click on Create Mask
With the trimmed object it is time to bring the photo of the new fund
You can simply drag it to Photoshop
Size the photo or photo of the fun and organize the layers

Shabby Chic Altered Canvas with Prima Marketing Amber Moon Collection - Duration: 10:15.
hi everyone its Keren here and welcome back to my channel so glad you came
again today I have a new tutorial for you using the Prima marketing amber moon
collection this collection has such beautiful soft tones that it was perfect
to create another fall themed project however I really wanted it to look like
a garden that's why I added so many nature elements in the project and for
your convenience all the products and links are listed below in the
description area I altered a canvas heart that actually is in a frame that I
got at Target and I'm using the amber moon paper pad and cut out the shape of
the heart to glue inside the canvas I got this canvas at Target during
Valentine's Day but you could really use any hard canvas or even cut a heart out
of a cardboard box or chipboard to create this because I'm really just
covering the canvas with paper and using some little bits and pieces that I cut
out and fussy cut to glue on the back I used some Prima marketing fin of a soft
matte gel medium to glue everything together and to create the background
for my heart I really love the amber moon collection as it has the perfect
colors for fall I really wanted to fit in one more project right before
American Thanksgiving because I knew that right after Thanksgiving everything
starts getting ready for the holiday season in December and I really wanted
to use this collection and get the most out of it
I bought the twelve by twelve paper pad and I've made quite a few projects which
I'm going to link below so you can see the different ones that I've made I made
up a nine panel canvas set and also a shaker canvas that I will link below and
also at the end of this video I really believe that when I buy something I want
to be able to get the most out of what I spend because I don't want to just have
it piled up in my craft room so it's really important to just be able to get
the most out of each thing that you buy and for doing that
to get the most out of this paper pad so this is my third project with this and
I'm hoping that I will get to use it again although I'm not sure if I'll have
the time because now I have to shift gears towards other types of projects I
ripped some more papers out of the paper pad some leftover papers that I had
because I wanted to add a little bit more of a pattern in the background so I
ripped some papers and glue them to the back using the gel medium all the links
to all the products including this beautiful paper pad are listed below in
the description area and stay to the end of the video so you can see the other
projects that I have done I will link them there as well once I finished
gluing all the pieces of paper and heat setting it I took some white gesso this
is the Prima finna bear heavy white gesso and started adding it to the
background I wanted to create a whitewash and kind of blend all the
papers together so you won't see the seams as much and at the same time I
wanted to have those really nice patterns in the background so that
helped blend it all in and you can use a wipe to kind of take off some of the
excess of the gesso so you can have it whitewash in the background
once the gesso was dried I started pulling out some flowers from Prima
marketing now I'm using older flowers that I had in my stash because I really
did not buy the amber moon matching flowers just because I have so many
flowers from past projects that I really wanted to just use what I have in my
stash but I'm definitely linking below all the amber moon flowers as well so if
you want it to match perfectly or you don't have the matching colored flowers
and you can definitely buy those as well I also took some prima resins some of
the leaves that are from a previous collection that are really really
beautiful and then I also took a resin heart with roses on it this is from the
Frank Garcia memory hardware collection and I just added it to the center I
really love this framed heart because I could use us to put a sentiment in it
and it would be perfect the set comes with two hearts one larger one and one
smaller one and I did take this smaller one from this I also took some smaller
flowers from my stash and I even grabbed a nice nest from Prima marketing as well
finally I added some resin birds because I really felt that the nest needed some
birds to fly around it so I added two of these tropical birds they kind of remind
me of macaws and I really love these ones they're pretty large so they fit
perfectly on this canvas heart all of these are from previous
collections in previous years so so I'm hoping I will find these and be able to
link the ones that I've used however if I don't and I will try to find something
that is just as nice that can be used for this type of project
I cut out a sentiment out of the paper pad and added it underneath the flowered
heart I use some of the fabric attack glue that holds flowers really really
well and all the embellishments and I just glued everything to the background
I wanted to add some more texture to the background and in a great way to do that
is to use art stones now I really felt that the art stones match the bird eggs
perfectly especially the extra large ones so these are the really large art
stones from Prima and I also use a little bit of the regular art stones as
well I usually take some gel and dip my paintbrush into the gel and then dip it
into the art stones and then glue it to the background this is a technique that
I really love using because it's really easy instead of having to pour the art
stones onto my working area that way I don't lose too many of them and I'm able
to keep it all intact besides creating an amazing texture the
art students helped connect all the embellishments to each other and this
really helps to draw the eye right into the sentiment which is the one that says
thankful in the middle of the heart
I let the stones dry for a long time probably overnight and then I took some
heavy white gesso again and this time I just went ahead and added some
highlights on the flowers and on the nest so everything that wasn't white got
a little bit of white highlights using the white gesso I really felt the
embellishments were all too white and they were getting lost in the background
so I wanted to add a little bit of color and to do that I was trying to find the
matching color to the amber moon collection what I did is I took the new
vamoose in the coral Calypso color which is a really nice peachy kind of color
and I took a little bit with my paintbrush put it on my mat and then
sprayed it with water this created a diluted solution that I
could use as paint and what I did is I went in between the embellishments and
added this color on all the white areas except for the birds so I went on the
heart and on all the little art stones and also on the other resin Leafs that
helped to create that really nice coral color that matches the rest of the
background then I brought in a second color of the new vamoose this is the
Indian gold because I wanted to add a little bit of a golden tone to the
background so I did the same thing I put some on my mat and then sprayed it with
water and then added some of the golden highlights to the embellishments as well
you
after finishing the new vamoose and drying it with my heat tool I went ahead
and added some white highlights with my white gesso again this time I added them
on top of that colored embellishments the reason why I did that is because I
wanted to create depth so it helps when something has color underneath and then
you add some white highlights it makes it look as if there is a shadow
underneath and this tied it all in which really helped to make it look like it's

Top 5 Tips For Gold Players In Battlerite (Guide) - Duration: 10:28.
Hey guys, berthen here, I've climbed through gold pretty recently and noticed that players
there generally have pretty good mechanics and understanding of basics unlike in silver
where very few people even went for the orb. So instead of a bunch of mistakes I saw, here's
some tips on things that should be done more in gold elo.
Use Disruptive abilities When It Matters I was having a lot of trouble with this myself
playing as Jade. I thought just using my silence ability whenever possible was great because
it would just silence people and then I'd get an extra second to fight or something.
But that's just dumb. Jade's silence has an 8 second cooldown and it only silences
if the enemy is attacking or is about to attack. So if you use it while the enemy is just moving
around, then you basically wasted an 8 second cooldown to spellblock nothing for half a
second. So what you want to do is silence an enemy attacking your teammate or you because
there's much higher chance they'll be silenced during that time and your teammates
or you can take advantage of the time they're silenced if they're close by rather than
running around far away. It'd be best when the enemy tries to do an ability that has
a lot of cast time, so you make them waste time casting it and getting silenced. A lot
of disrupting abilities are conditional and misused a lot in gold.
A good example is raigon's parry especially in low gold. They'll use it just to walk
up to the enemy safely and attack them as if the enemy will just keep hitting the whole
time for no reason and now one of their few escapes are gone. A good raigon will hold
onto their parry until they see a ranged champion use right click on them which will make them
lose a big cool down ability and possibly deflect that right click high damage ability
back at them. Wasting it on 1 or two left clicks isn't worth it, they'll stop shooting,
maybe take 10-20 damage at first and then keep shooting you after parry is gone. Another
good use is to space into a ranged champion, hit them a bit, then they blow their escapes
and now focus you because your space is down. No big deal, you use parry and walk back to
your team where it's safe until your space is up again. The absolute worst raigons who
use parry and then jump in have no way of escaping and they just die in like 10 seconds
and then blame their team for not following up and helping them. So you get the idea,
when an ability does a lot of damage and you can hit the enemy with it, then you normally
want to use it like all the time. But if it's a disrupting ability, hold onto it until it
can do some real work other than silence the enemy for half a second or deflect a single
left click attack. Look For Healing Actively
Unlike a normal MOBA, you don't get bursted down that easily in this game. But you should
still be very mindful about your health especially when you have a lot of empty or recovery health.
In battlerite you can always heal for up to 40 health once you take damage. But if you
take more than that, then your new max health is whatever your health is plus 40. So for
example, you start with 230 health, you take 40 damage, you're now at 190, you walk to
your healer and they heal you back to 230. But if you take 60 damage instead, you go
to 170 health and your healer can only heal you back up to 210. So d o not wait until
you're at 50 health to go to your healer and get back to 90. If possible, you want
to be healing back up whenever you take less than 40 damage. It's very easy to do and
doesn't cost energy most of the time, unlike trading damage with the enemy where you're
both getting hit, it just gives your healer energy and you health. And if you coordinate
the process by running into your teammates healing, then you can't really go wrong
where as you could miss a bunch of skillshots on the enemy and get outtraded instead, it's
a no brainer. There's also health orbs that will give you back real health and recovery
health which spawns every 25 seconds. Just get these whenever you can and you'll have
an edge on your enemies. So if you have a healer on your team, your thought process
should be, engage, hit use abilities, back out, heal up and then trade again. Someone
who does this will usually destroy someone who doesn't do this.
Play around your teammates This is huge no matter what team comp you
have. You might think, oh well you know if I have a 1 v 1 versus someone, then that's
not so bad, I can just outplay them or whatever. But battlerite is first and foremost a team
game. Every single character has an ability that benefits more when your teammates are
around. If you have a healer, then being near them will let you make trades and get healed
up while your healer gets easy energy. If you have a melee then they usually have
crowd control, once they stun, silence or do anything that makes someone an easy target,
then you get to follow up for free damage. Just think about how lame it would be if an
ability just stunned the enemy for literally 1 second during a 1 v 1, what's that gonna
do, I would rather an ability that did 20-30 damage in 1 v 1. But if you have two people
next to you, suddenly that 1 second stun can turn into 30-50 damage easily. That's what
croak's stun after stealth can do if you work with your team.
And what about if you're a ranged character and you're being chased by this super-fast
Raigon or Freya with speed boost and jumps everywhere as any champion who's low on
health in a 1 v 1. Well you're probably dead, but if you just run behind your teammates,
they can heal you, shoot the Raigon or Freya for free or just push them away so you can
heal up. Pretty much whatever champion you're playing, being near your teammates will be
better than being by yourself somewhere else. Use your ultimate carefully
I see so many people waste 4 energy bars just to have a chance to hit someone for a lot
of damage when the chances are around slim to none. If you're Jade and trying to ult
a blossom with deflect up, a raigon with parry up, an ashka with firewall up, then you're
just asking to lose the game. You lose 4 energy bars and they use either a free 8 second cooldown
ability or 1 bar of energy to stop or even deflect your ultimate. Same with raigon, in
gold I saw so many raigons use ult on me when I had space up, I just jump out of it, sometimes
I take 20 damage, sometimes I just avoid it completely. Don't do that, just use your
ex abilities most of the time if you absolutely need to use energy.
That's not to say that using ultimate is never a good idea. They are still very good
if you're against a team who doesn't have that many escapes but make sure that their
escape is on cooldown when you use it. Look for players who're getting focused by your
team and losing health a lot, they're bound to use their escapes within a few seconds,
abilities in this game only have like 6-12 second cool down so nobody really holds on
to anything for that long. Then when it's on cooldown for the next few seconds, use
your ultimate on them. In games where the enemy has a healer, ultimates especially becomes
important to use well because even if your EX abilities can let you hit them for 20-40
damage, they can just run and heal it back up for free usually. But if you land a good
ult doing 50-100 damage to them, their max health will go down and then you just have
to finish them off with whatever remaining health they have left.
Prioritize targets based on the situation A lot of newer players can be a bit silly
with this mentality of, omg guys why aren't you focusing the healer, everyone knows healers
are always the squishiest and weakest so focus them down before they heal too much. This
is not true for the most part in battlerite. Take for example blossom, I've seen blossoms
destroy ranged characters in 1 v 1s countless times. They have slightly less damage compared
to ranged characters plus healing, this makes it so that they can pretty much outtrade you
but they can't burst as hard, so usually unless 2 or more of your team is on them,
leaving them alone might be a good idea. Ok, so maybe focus the ranged then? Well usually
if you chase the ranged ignoring the melee and support, they'll hurt you real bad because
melees aren't weak at all in battlerite, there's no real tank, no armor, everyone
has damage not just the ranged champions. So in the end, some targets are better to
hit than others but usually doing damage is better than not doing damage. So if you're
melee and you can immediately jump onto the highest damage dealer on the enemy team, then
go for it as long as you're still near your team and have an escape route or you think
you can burst them. If you can't do those, then just hit that other melee next to you.
It's usually never a good idea to chase someone if you can't hit them right away
because it's just a waste of time since 10 damage on that ranged is 10 damage on any
other champion you can reach, no one takes less damage than anyone. But if the enemy
has a lot of empty health then that might be the one exception to chasing other than
if they're really low obviously. If the enemy has like 30-40 missing health from their
max health as indicated by a black space on the health bar, then every damage you do on
them is basically permanent damage. They can heal it up with orbs but those don't give
a ton of max health nor are they spawning fast enough to matter too much. So if you
see a ranged with 150/150 health or a melee with 150/190 health, then it might be a good
idea to even use abilities to target the melees so they can't go to their healer and get
back up to 190 health. Obviously it depends on other factors too, like can the ranged
jump away? If they can and you do 10 damage to them then they'll probably just heal
it back up anyways after jumping away, but if they have no escapes, then jumping on them
will be good too since you can probably do more than 10-20 damage to a ranged with no
escape. It's a lot to take in but basically, targets who you can consistently hit, have
no escapes or have a lot of empty health should be prioritized over anyone else regardless
of class because there are no tanks, there are no champions that can't do damage and
there are no champions not worth hitting. Follow the tips in this video and you'll

FORMER Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is going to fulfil a lifetime dream by taking part in the world's toughest rally.
The 40-year-old, currently in charge of Chinese Super League club Shangai SIPG, has been registered to drive a Toyota T.
1 in the car section of next year's Dakar Rally.
Andre Villas-Boas is set to test himself in the Dakar Rally.
Specialist website Diariomotor says the 40-year-old will compete for the Overdrive team and his co-pilot will be veteran ex-motorcyclist Ruben Faria, who finished runner-up in the race in 2013.
The tactician, who was hailed as the next Jose Mourinho after taking over at Chelsea, will reportedly wear race number 346 in the legendary event which will start on January 6 in the Peruvian capital Lima.
The Porto-born father-of-two has never made any secret of his love of motors.
He first told of his passion when in charge of Chelsea, revealing he owned five bikes and shared 12 vintage cars.
The Dakar Rally is a brutal event that has claimed many lives.
The Rally is not for the faint of heart but AVB is a huge petrol head.
Revealing how he broke his arm when he drove his first bike in a national competition in Portugal, he admitted in a 2013 magazine interview: "Driving is very adrenaline-fuelled and it makes me feel good.
It has been a lifelong passion.".

When it comes to the most widely used adjuvant ingredient found within vaccines, aluminum,
many questions have yet to be answered, particularly when it comes to where the aluminum goes after
injection, an issue known as biopersistence.
One reason this question arises is because a causative role has been established in what�s
known as macrophagic myofasciitis (MMF) lesion in patients who have myalgic encephalomyelitis,
or brain inflammation.
Myalgia, arthralgia, chronic fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, dysautonomia, and autoimmunity
have been temporally linked to aluminium adjuvant-containing vaccine administration (Gherardi and Authier,
2003; Authier et al., 2003; Exley et al., 2009; Rosenblum et al., 2011; Santiago et
al., 2014; Brinth et al., 2015; Palmieri et al., 2016).
�Evidence that aluminum-coated particles phagocytozed in the injected muscle and its
draining lymph nodes can disseminate within phagocytes throughout the body and slowly
accumulate in the brain further suggested that alum safety should be evaluated in the
long term.�
This study has prompted further research evaluating the potential hazards of injected aluminum,
which begs the question, why hasn�t proper evidence and evaluation been published showing
that it�s safe to inject aluminum into babies via several vaccines in a short period of
time?
Aluminum adjuvants may be effective for stimulating an immune response, but to simply presume
there are no consequences for doing this, or to not emphasize or even state the adverse
effects that have been discovered, is, I would argue, criminally negligent.
Such negligence is not uncommon when dealing with pharmaceutical companies, however.
For example, a study published in the British Medical Journal and conducted by researchers
at the Nordic Cochrane Center in Copenhagen showed that pharmaceutical companies were
not disclosing all information regarding the results of their drug trials.
Even the FDA has been caught manipulating media and science press.
Examples of such fraud and corruption are endless, and the result of what many have
dubbed the �corporatization� of science.
Many from within the field have published a lot of work with the intention of creating
more awareness about this grim reality.
Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime Editor-in-Chief of the New England Medical
Journal (NEMJ), one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals in the world,
has said that �it is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that
is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical
guidelines.
I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two
decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.�

It�s good to see that we are entering a time when these vaccine ingredients aren�t
just assumed to be safe, especially aluminum, which had no place on planet Earth until humans
made it, and it definitely has no place in the human body.
Because vaccines have, historically, been viewed as non-toxic substances, the FDA and
vaccine manufactures simply didn�t conduct appropriate toxicity studies to prove the
safety of vaccine ingredients, like aluminum.
A study published in BMC Medicine showed that alum-containing vaccines were associated with
the appearance of aluminum deposits in distant organs, such as the spleen and brain, and
were still detectable one year after injection.
The same group from France published another study two years later, emphasizing that there
are �several gaps in the knowledge on alum particles, including their exact mechanisms
of action, their fate after injection, their systemic dissemination, and their safety on
the long-term.
Efforts have been done in the last years to develop novel adjuvants, but attempts to seriously
examine safety concerns raised by the bio-persistent character and brain accumulation of alum particles
have not been made.�
Fast forward to this year, and multiple in vivo studies have been published showing that
injected aluminum, and aluminum used as an adjuvant within vaccines, does not come into
the same method of excretion as aluminum that accumulates in our body from our food, for
example.
Our bodies do a good job at eliminating this type of aluminum, but the same cannot be said
of injected aluminum.
This is why multiple studies are implicating injected aluminum with multiple neurodegenerative
disorders, like autism in the short term, or Alzheimer�s in the long term, because
aluminum could be going to the brain and staying there for life.
Apart from observed behavioural abnormalities, the 2017 study showed that the �measurement
of cerebral Al (aluminum) revealed a significantly higher Al level in brains from animals injected
. . . than in brains from control group.�
What�s also interesting is that there was �no significant increase� detected in
the animals that were injected with a higher dose.
It�s concerning, especially because we already know that environmental aluminium has long
been suspected to act as a co-factor in several chronic neurological diseases (Van Rensburg
et al., 2001; De Sole et al., 2013; Exley 2013, 2014).

Here is a great quote from Dr. Jose G. Dores, a professor at the University of Brasilia�s
Department of Nutritional Sciences who recently published a study in the International Journal
of Environmental Research and Public Health.
In the study, he offers the following observation: �Despite their long use as active agents
of medicines and fungicides, the safety levels of these substances have never been determined,
either for animals or for adult humans�much less for fetuses, newborns, infants, and children.�
Below is a video with Dr. Christopher Shaw, a professor from UBC, explaining why injected
aluminum is a concern.

University and Honorary Professor at UHI Millennium Institute.
He is known as one of the world�s leading experts on aluminum toxicity.
With So Many Studies Raising Concerns, Why Do So Few People Know About This?
The same thing has happened with mercury.
Not long ago, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Chairman of the World Mercury Project (WMP), announced
a $100,000 challenge and initiative aimed at putting an end to the inclusion of mercury,
a neurotoxin 100 times more poisonous than lead, in vaccines administered in the U.S
and globally.
He held a press conference presenting a number of scientific publications raising several
concerns with regards to injecting mercury into children.
As with aluminum, there are no studies proving it�s actually safe to do this.
And a fairly recent Meta-Analysis published in the journal Bio Med Research International
found:
The studies upon which the CDC relies and over which it exerted some level of control
report that there is no increased risk of autism from exposure to organic Hg in vaccines,
and some of these studies even reported that exposure to Thimerosal appeared to decrease
the risk of autism.
These six studies are in sharp contrast to research conducted by independent researchers
over the past 75+ years that have consistently found Thimerosal to be harmful.
As mentioned in the Introduction section, many studies conducted by independent investigators
have found Thimerosal to be associated with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Considering that there are many studies conducted by independent researchers which show a relationship
between Thimerosal and neurodevelopmental disorders, the results of the six studies
examined in this review, particularly those showing the protective effects of Thimerosal,
should bring into question the validity of the methodology used in the studies.

So why does nobody know about this?
Political insider Robert F. Kennedy Jr. explains:
Vaccines are big business.
Pharma is a trillion-dollar industry with vaccines accounting for $25 billion in annual
sales.
CDC�s decision to add a vaccine to the schedule can guarantee its manufacturer millions of
customers and billions in revenue with minimal advertising or marketing costs and complete
immunity from lawsuits.
High stakes and the seamless marriage between Big Pharma and government agencies have spawned
an opaque and crooked regulatory system.
Public health may not be the sole driver of CDC decisions to mandate new vaccines.
Four scathing federal studies, including two by Congress, one by the US Senate, and one
by the HHS Inspector General, paint CDC as a cesspool of corruption, mismanagement, and
dysfunction with alarming conflicts of interest suborning its research, regulatory, and policymaking
functions.

There are real life examples of this too, like, William Thompson, a longtime senior
CDC scientist who published some of the most commonly cited pro-vaccine studies, which
showed that there was absolutely no link between the MMR vaccine and autism (Thompson, et al.
2007, Price, et al. 2010, Destefano, et al. 2004).
Dr. Thompson recently admitted that it was �the lowest point� in his career when
he �went along with that paper.� He went on to say that he and the other authors �didn�t
report significant findings� and that he is �completely ashamed� of what he did.
He was �complicit and went along with this,� and regrets that he has �been a part of
the problem.�
I could go on, but I�ll conclude by saying that we must continue to raise our voices
and demand transparency.
We must not let the corporate world continue to wreak havoc and sacrifice our health for
their greed.
Sacrificing Animals For Science
Collective Evolution is a platform of animal activists, and it does conflict me to constantly
look at studies where animals are bred and grown for such a sacrifice.
That being said, perhaps for now, in some cases it can be looked upon the way the indigenous
looked upon the animals they used to sustain themselves.

might say about a vegan diet and the modern day meat industry.
Some of the things animals are subjected to in the name of �science� are actually
horrible.
The cosmetics industry, to name one, is a heart-breaking example.
Why are animals considered lesser beings?
If these products are for us, they should be tested on humans.
Perhaps one day we will be able to grow human bodies, devoid of any consciousness, to advance
science, but then a number of other questions come into play.
As far as vaccines go, injecting aluminum into an animal is almost unnecessary at this
point in my opinion, because as far as I�m concerned, we already know the result is not
going to be good, so what�s the point of continuing to do so?
Unfortunately, the language of science is far different, and perhaps these animals,
on some deeper level, played that role so we can open our eyes and see the bigger picture.
This type of perspective is discussed in the article linked in the previous paragraph,
stories of Native North Americans and their relationship with animals might help with
this perspective.
Not in all cases, but in many cases, alternatives to animal testing are sometimes more effective,
quicker and cheaper.
But this may not be true for all cases.

BOOKS I'M THANKFUL FOR | 2017 - Duration: 3:23.
Hello and Happy Thanksgiving, if you live in America. Thanksgiving is my favorite
holiday because I love spending time with my family and I love that there's
no expectations to give gifts or receive gifts, it's just really all about
spending the day with the people that you love and trying to be thankful for
the things you have and not worrying about the things you don't. Today I
wanted to do a video all about the books that I am thankful that I read in 2017. I
have five books in my list today and these are books that aren't necessarily
books that I'll be talking about at the end of the year in my Favorites video.
But they are books that either I am really happy that I read or reread,
they're books that I feel like they taught me something or they're books
that I read and I feel like I learned something about myself. So I'm really
excited to be doing this video and I'm just gonna go ahead and get started.
The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater is a series that I read in its entirety this
year and I am thankful that I read it because it really taught me that having
a solid group of friends behind you can it make all the difference. The
characters in this book need their friends to support them and help them to
accomplish the mission that they're all trying to achieve. And for me, I have
realized that I need my solid group of friends to support me in the goals that
I try to reach. Code Name Verity is one of my all-time favorite World War II
historical fiction novels. I read it for the first time in 2014 and it was my
favorite book that year and I thought that it was time to revisit the story,
and I am so glad that I did. Rereading this book helped me to
remember that sometimes it's really important to just take a step back from
all the books that we're overwhelmed by and revisit some old favorites because
revisiting this book really did feel like I was revisiting an old friend and
I absolutely loved rereading it. In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park actually is the
only nonfiction book on my list, but I feel like this book was so important to
me this year because it really taught me to look outside of myself, my experiences
and my privilege and realize that there are people in the world that are
struggling with impossible circumstances. And this book just helped to remind me
that it's important for me to check myself and my own gratitude every once
in a while, because there are other people who have
it way worse than I do and I just need to be grateful for the life that I've
been given. I had to include Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty on this list
because after a string of duds and listening to a lot of audiobooks, this
book helped me to fall in love with reading physical books again. I was in a
huge slump before I read this book and then reading this book was just like
taking a breath of fresh air, it was like eating a piece of candy, it was just so
good. And lastly, Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire, which I feel like I've
been talking about endlessly on my channel recently. But that's because this
book helped me to remember that it's okay to believe in magic every once in a
while. So there you go, those are the five books that I am most thankful for this
year. Like I said at the beginning of the video, these books aren't necessarily
books you'll see pop up in my favorites video at the end of the year, but these
are books that help me to become a better person, a better reader, and just
realize what's important and so that's why I had to choose them. Let me know

Coco EASTER EGGS, Pixar Theory & Cameos You Missed! - Duration: 6:53.
Pixar's beautiful new Day of the Dead animation Coco is full of easter eggs including teases
to Incredibles 2, Toy Story, and Finding Nemo.
Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here, and today I'm going to run through all the
Pixar easter eggs in Coco, some cool cameos you might have missed, plus I'm explaining
how Coco fits into the Pixar theory.
And I'm starting a new Disney Funko Pop giveaway on this video.
To enter, make sure you're a subscriber and leave a comment about Coco.
Towards the start of the movie, when Miguel runs through the streets of his hometown,
if you look very carefully, you'll notice some Pixar-themed piñatas on sale, including
Woody and Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies and Mike from Monsters Inc.
Which is especially fitting as Coco director Lee Unkrich was also a director on two of
the Toy Story movies and Monsters, Inc.
The Pizza Planet truck made its first appearance back in 1995 in the very first Toy Story movie,
and if you love spotting Pixar's easter egg regular pop up in their films, then you'll
be glad to see it in Coco as it drives past Miguel's house playing music.
"No music!"
By the way, Pizza Planet is actually written in Spanish on this truck because, according
to director Lee Unkrich, the idea is that there's a Pizza Planet franchise in Mexico.
Continuing the Toy Story theme, one of the performers at the talent contest in the Land
of the Dead is wearing a skull T-shirt, just like Sid wore in the first and third Toy Story
movies.
Also in the Land of the Dead, you'll find the Luxo ball on a table in the background
when Dante and Frida Kahlo's monkey race around her workshop.
The Luxo ball appeared in Pixar's very first short film, Luxo Jr, together with two desk
lamps, one of which is still used in Pixar's logo.
And the Lucha Libre stand in Miguel's hometown has numerous wrestling masks on sale, one
of which has the same colour design as the Luxo ball as well as its star.
Fans of Finding Nemo and its sequel should keep their eyes open for the curious little
clownfish and his dad who pop up in a couple of places.
First, there are Nemo, Marlin, and Dory figurines on the alebrijes table in the town.
And I'm wondering if these figures could also be Destiny from Finding Dory and if these
could be Remy from Ratatouille?
By the way, there's also a little sculpture of the Coco character Pepita here, who turns
up later in the Land of the Dead.
And sneakily hidden among the marigolds on the Rivera family's ofrenda, there's another
Nemo.
He's really hard to see as his colour blends in with the flowers, but now you know where
he is, you should be able to spot him!
The A113 easter egg, which has appeared in every single Pixar movie to date, can be found
on the door of the Bureau of Family Grievances in the Land of the Dead.
The appearance of A113 in Pixar's films is an homage to the classroom at California Institute
of the Arts where many of Pixar's animators studied.
Pixar's films always include easter eggs for their next movie, which in the case of Coco
means Incredibles 2.
In the Land of the Dead, when Miguel and Héctor are on their way to the talent contest, you
need to look very carefully as, down one of the streets, there's a hard-to-spot Incredibles
poster.
You can see it when someone sets off a firework, which lights up the wall of a building where
the poster is.
Coco includes numerous cameos by icons of Mexican culture and history in the Land of
the Dead.
There's a funny moment in the queue to get into Ernesto de la Cruz's party where the
bouncer gets a selfie of his disembodied skull taken with El Santo.
El Santo was a legendary figure in Lucha Libre, or Mexican professional wrestling, and was
known as "el Enmascarado de Plata" because of the silver mask you can see him wearing
to the party in Coco.
The famous Mexican film stars Jorge Negrete and Pedro Infante also appear at de la Cruz's
party.
In fact, the character of Ernesto de la Cruz was actually partly inspired by Pedro Infante.
Mexico's renowned comic film actor Cantinflas appears later during a group sing-song with
de la Cruz.
Also in the group is the famed Mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata and the influential Mexican
actress and singer, María Félix.
The orchestra conductor at the big concert towards the end of the movie is a nod by Pixar's
animators to Michael Giacchino, who composed the score for Coco.
The concert's conductor wears a bowtie and top hat and his look reminded me of photos
like this one of Giacchino.
In real life, Frida Kahlo was a hugely important Mexican artist, and in Coco, she plays a suitably
significant and artistic role during Miguel's journey in the Land of the Dead.
Scattered around Kahlo's workshop in the film are references to some of her real paintings,
including her self-portraits and still life works with watermelons, papayas, and coconuts,
the Spanish word for which just happends to be 'coco'.
And Frida's alebrije monkey and her affinity with Miguel's dog Dante reflects the fact
that, in real life, Frida Kahlo had several pet monkeys as well as xolos, or Mexican hairless
dogs as they're also known.
John Ratzenberger, Pixar's good-luck charm, has voiced a character in all of Pixar's movies
so far, and in Coco he has a small role as the voice of Juan Ortodoncia.
The promo clip, Dante's Lunch, features a cool Cars easter egg via the Number 95 shoes
a little boy is wearing as Dante zooms past him.
In the main film, there's also a possible Lightning McQueen easter egg via the lightning
bolt on Miguel's T-shirt.
By the way, there are three different Coco easter eggs in Pixar's last movie, Cars 3,
and if you want to find those and all the others you missed in that movie, hit the link
at the end of this video or in the video description below.
Ok, what about the Pixar theory and how does Coco fit in?
For anyone who doesn't know, there are a number of Pixar theories around, but the best-known
one is by Jon Negroni who has suggested a unified timeline for all the Pixar films.
In Coco, we can see real-life Pizza Planet trucks driving around and Pixar characters
appearing in piñatas and alebrijes which does tie in with the theory that a shared
universe exists.
The Cars easter eggs though might be a little problematic as, if we assume Coco takes place
in the present day, then there's a potential timeline problem because, according to Negroni's
Pixar theory, the Cars movies don't take place until some time after 2110 and the events
of WALL-E. However, the Pixar theory posits that the
Cars characters where at one time driven by real human owners and when they later came
alive they inherited the characteristics of their previous human drivers.
Which means Lightning McQueen might have had a real human racing driver who was alive around
the time when Coco takes place, hence the Cars easter eggs.

The Government Is Trying To Destroy The Internet - Fight For Net Neutrality - Duration: 2:45.
The FCC is planning to Kill Net Neutrality.
Now I know a lot of people have questions about net neutrality and what it means for
you if it gets taken away.

Before I get into this video, let me know in the comments below what you use the internet
for the most.
The Federal Communications Comission regulates how internet service providers are allowed
to handle traffic.
They said this week that they want to essentially get rid of a very important policy that prevents
internet service providers from being gatekeepers of the internet.
So the FCC won't let me be or let me be me so let me see.
President Obama's administration put in place a regulation that makes sure that internet
service providers offer consumers equal access to online content and services.
What does that mean exactly.
It means, that under net neutrality, you don't have to pay to have access to certain content.
The way things are right now, when you use the internet on your phone, computer or tablet,
you can look at websites or watch videos at the same speed as everyone else.
But if the government gets rid of net neutrality, The internet could become very much like television,
in the way that you have to pay for certain channels outside of your base TV package like
HBO.
The proposal also states that Internet service providers will be allowed to slow down the
internet for certain websites, whenever they want.
ISPs will only be required to provide a baseline level of service, and will then be able to
charge you extra to get to use high quality services, like streaming 4K content.
Which is another way of saying, you're going to have to pay extra to stream your favourite
shows on Netflix, on top of the fees you're already paying for the internet.
Neflix streaming service makes up almost a third of all web traffic, and it sometimes
accounts for close to 50%.
On the flipside of things, The way AT and T looks at it, there is no free lunch.
Netflix has set up a business that uses a lot of bandwith, but it doesn't have to
pay extra.
But now the argument is, that neflix shouldn't have to pay, we, the internet users should
have to pay for that extra bandwidth.
The fcc will vote to repeal net neutrality on Decmber 14th.
The lame thing is, if it gets passed, the rest of the world will be affected as well.

Do not visit the food market near Wangfujing Dajie, if you're hungry.
You'll probably end up buying a duck, a few chicken hearts, a stuffed eggplant and
some pancakes for dessert!

And even things that you've thought were inedible, like scorpions, ants, grasshoppers
and snakes are here as well, so you better prepare your digestive tract for a bumpy ride.

On your next trip to Paris, don't forget to visit the creepiest shop in Europe – Deyrolle
taxidermy.
It's full of nightmare fuel and if you're very sensitive to that kind of thing, you
should probably just peek through the window.
Inside you'll see stuffed boars, tigers, elks heads, and even bear rugs!
Whatever your "wild" party needs – this shop probably has it.

Zombie Apocalypse Store, Las Vegas, USA
Recently Zombies became so popular in games, movies and other media, that some guy in Las
Vegas thought to himself "I'm gonna make money selling anti-zombie weapons and gear!"
and he freaking did.
If a zombie apocalypse comes, you know you'll be the first to join the ranks of the undead,
regardless of whether or not you have a Hello Kitty t-shirt, a sword and a gas mask.
The store does sell quality (yet overpriced) pre-packaged dry food and survival guides,
so there's something useful at least.

Muara Kuin Floating Market, Banjarmasin, Indonesia
Known as the "city of a thousand rivers", Banjarmasin doesn't have big land markets,
instead people use small boats called "jukung" to bring all sorts of foods and goods to the
Muara Kuin Floating Market.
It's really fun to see how this water market starts to thin out when the sun sets.
All the uneaten dumplings floating away from you…
that's so heartbreaking.

Witch's Market, Bolivia
Feeling like you could use some good luck?
Get yourself a dried llama fetus, which is said to bring not only good fortune but also
prosperity.
I hear what you're saying "but where do I get one?", easy – the Witches' Market
in Bolivia.
That place is packed full with all kinds of talismans, charms, dried creatures and a whole
butt-load of funky ingredients you do not want to see in your soup.
Aside from snakes, their venom, aphrodisiac potions, common and rare herbs, folk remedies
and countless other items you can also consult real Bolivian witches about your future, if
you're brave enough.

Do you like birds?
If you do, you simply have to go to Kabul to witness an amazing gathering of bird enthusiasts
– the Ka Firushi bird market.
Older people sell magnificent songbirds like canaries, nightingales and budgerigars mostly
for profit, while teens and adults see it as more of a fun hobby.
The market is situated in a quiet part of the city where no car can fit through, so
you will be able to fully enjoy the birds tweeting their songs.

Lomé Voodoo Market , Togo (West Africa)
Most people think that Voodoo originated in Haiti but little do they know, this religion
actually has deep roots in West Africa.
In Voodoo every creature, alive or dead, is potent and divine, that's why you'll find

Dead alligators, goats, chickens, lizards, monkeys, leopards and corpses of many other
critters are being sold here.

are being sold by their parents on the Gypsy Brides market for up to $6,000, if the girl
is really cute.

Fes Tanneries, Marrakech
Founded in the 8th century AD, the city of Fes has a long history that influenced its
development, yet some parts of it have not changed at all in the last few hundred years.
One of those districts is the Fes el-Bali Medina.
Located behind a wall, the Medina has narrow alleys you can only reach on foot, where merchants
and skilled craftsmen sell products like fish, various spices, dates, urns, fantastic-looking
carpets and even musical instruments.

Diagon Alley Shops, London, UK
The day when every Harry Potter fan squeaks in awe has come!
Technically, this is old news but some of you may not know about the HP theme park in
London.
It has all the awesome locations from the movies and books and you can even interact
with some of the set pieces to trigger certain events.
It has everything you've ever wanted from a Harry Potter experience, including the shopping
district – the Diagon Alley.
There you can visit the Malfoy Manor, Crumple-Horned Snorkack, The Leaky Cauldron, Knockturn Alley,
buy a magic wand, cast some of the spells to unlock secret locations and, generally,
make all your HP fantasies real.

2017 SEMA Show Off Road Report Jeeps Trucks UTV's Baja 1000 - Duration: 8:47.
Hey everybody its Cary with skull rush today, we're bringing you the footage and photographs we shot at this year's SEMA Show
This is the world's largest trade show for automotive aftermarket suppliers and buyers where everybody comes to show off the latest and greatest
This is our take on the show and as you might imagine. It's gonna be focused on off-road trucks
The SEMA show never disappoints this year was certainly no exception
With the 50th anniversary of the Baja 1000 just around the corner all the biggest desert racing teams were out in full force
This year's off-road section is larger than ever in my opinion pretty much dominated the show.
I also think the off-road after market segment is probably the fastest growing part of the automotive industry right now.
My only regret was only having one day to explore.
This year I saw a number of great-looking luxury pre-runners from Toyotas to Ford's to Chevy's to dodges.
Let's talk a little bit about Jeeps, a big bunch of these squarely fit in the luxury pre-runner category
There are so many of this year's SEMA Show
I had to lump them into their own category after all Jeep is America's quintessential off-road vehicle.
For the last several years the UTV market have been literally on fire. This year the trend continues.
There were so many cool samples at this year's show I had to make two separate categories.
Not a huge showing of monster trucks this year, but we did get a glimpse of the original Bigfoot and a brand-new Bigfoot that's the world's first battery-powered monster truck.
We also saw gravedigger again this year and Wow again!
I can't get enough of that truck
At the risk of showing my age here, I gotta say these are some of my favorites.
I love the old original Baja racers and the backyard off-road toys from way back.
It kind of makes me want to find an old truck or blazer and start a new project
But I better finish up a few current projects first!
But did I mention that I love the old school offroad trucks. I know you do too!
Every year this club seems to get larger and larger
Get them up in the air, put some shiny 24-inch rims on them and powder coat every part that doesn't come in bolt on chrome.
Then let's see how many LED lights you can mount underneath.
Even though these are cool to look at, personally
I want a truck that I can get out in the dirt and do something with.
Not being a hater here, but my 200 grand would go towards a trophy truck, but that's just me.
But hey at least they are trucks and not lowriders!
Again not my cup of tea I'd rather spend my money on one that I could race!
But they do look cool, and I would probably cruise one around the neighborhood or the campgrounds or the main pit on a race weekend.
We saw a few pro 2 trucks this year, and it sure was nice to see footage of some Crandon action up on the monitors!

Who doesn't love a nice SUV? Load up the whole crew and all the gear and head out to your favorite off-road destination.
Robby Woods was back this year with his million dollar diesel.
It's pretty much the ultimate luxury pre-runner. Looks like it's all buttoned up and ready to rock!
SEMA always brings out the most interesting stuff that you just don't see every day.
This year we saw an off-road Hyundai, an off-road Camaro built on a moonshiner theme,
some really cool camping gear, an old Plymouth truck built with an airplane motor,
Some really sweet toy haulers. and even a full-size race car driver made out of Lego blocks.

And that's because they've actually joined up with people who knows how to make movies(Marvel Studios)
Not only is Tom Holland young but he's also very athletic
I think Marvel would most likely cast someone who is young or someone who looks young.
So that being said if you fall into one of those categories

Some people may not know this but Miles Morales is actually mixed. His father is African American
His mother is Puerto Rican. Who knows, maybe they'll want you to be able to speak Puerto Rican Spanish.
Since miles is supposed to be an intelligent nerd maybe they will.
So far we've said that you have to be athletic
Be half Puerto Rican and half black, young, and maybe bilingual
Maybe if you're just black and can speak Spanish, they'll consider you.
We got all of the looks and abilities down, but the most important part is knowing how to act
Now in order to get better at acting you should google your local acting community
It's easy just search acting classes near me. Now whether or not you want to do that you need this next part.
