Steam Winter Sale 2017 | Local Co-op - Duration: 4:14.

hello and welcome to low budget gaming and welcome to another steam winter sale

2017 video and in this video I'll be looking at some co-op games a local

co-op so this was also a request by a viewer so let's begin first up we have

Cuphead obviously this is the stand out game of the year and this is of course a

very difficult game came out very recently end of September this is 15% off down to

$16.99 you can play it alone or you can play it in co-op works perfectly in both

next is guns gore and cannoli now I mentioned this one in one of my other

videos and this is 52% off down to $4.79 you play as a mobster in 1930s and

basically this is godfather mixed with zombie so up to four players in local

co-op next a similar game this is rocket birds hard boiled chicken another game

where you play as a commando chicken fighting against a penguin Empire and

four players can play in co-op next up is super Blood Hockey possibly one of my

favorite games of the year now this is very much like the old NES type a hockey

game and there are no rules here so you can just beat each other silly if you

want this blood all over the place there's even like a timeout to fight and

so excellent funny game and this has also got local co-op obviously so

definitely check this out this is down to $5.25 next up we have cook serve

delicious 2 now I mentioned the previous game in one of my other videos

this is the second one sequel this came out very recently September 13th and

this has local co-op I don't think the first one did but this one there is like

a drop-in drop-out co-op during the entire game so definitely check this out

another cooking game this is overcooked and this is also a game where

you team up to complete objectives prepare dishes basically a lot of fun

I've seen a lot of lets plays of this one on YouTube

next is road Redemption another game I've mentioned previously in the racing

section and this is an old-school style bike game like road rash where you are on

a bike and you're fighting each other trying to win so yeah works perfectly in

co-op and this is 30% off down to $13.99 next we have a very funny game this is

Rock of Ages 2 bigger and boulder basically you control a giant boulder

and you have to defeat your opponent by crushing them with the boulder the

humour is sort of like Monty Python a bit reminds me of that

very funny looking game definitely have a go this is 33% off down to ten dollars

and four cents next we have never alone and this is a 2d side-scroller you

follow the journey of a girl and her fox through Alaska and if you play in

co-op you each player can control one of the characters that certain segments why

you have to work together to solve the objectives and even if you play alone

you can still play it you can still control both the characters but

obviously if you play together it'll be more fun

this is 80% off down to $2.99 finally we have Manuel Samuel this is a very funny

game I played this recently I've done a full let's play of this on my channel as

well basically you play as Samuel who's like a rich brat and he gets hit by a

truck one day and he dies and then he meets death and death gives him an offer

where if he can control his bodily functions manually for 24 hours he gets

to live so basically even things like blinking and walking straight and moving

each leg at a time he has to control all of that himself which is us basically

so this is a fun game - you can play a lot but if you play in co-op you can

like 2 people can control Sam's body which makes it even more annoying so

definitely check it out very funny game and this is 70% off down to $2.99 so

Hello, my friends.

It's the start of what I think is going to be a great new week.

I have a lot of fun things planned for this week.

Let me show you what I pick out to wear.

Tonight, I'm wearing this very fun silk duster that I picked up at ReLove in San Francisco.

I love it.

I feel very 70s, Stevie Nicks.

It's got this fringe on the colors.

I like it because it's colorful, but still a little subdued.

I'm wearing that with plain things underneath.

This Kit and Ace top, my Tanner belt.

These are Levi's that I got in Dublin at a resale shop.

I frayed them myself.

And, of course, the Briar clogs from San Francisco that just bring it all together, and I think

have just the right feel that I'm looking for tonight.

This is my Ecuadorian rainbow jacket that I picked up resale from ReLove in San Francisco.

I think it brightens up any day, and I really love wearing it.

It's the perfect weight for here in Southern California as it starts to get a little bit

colder.

I have it with these pants.

These are Saint John knit pants that I've shortened a little bit to make it a little

bit less dressy, but I feel like a little gaucho-y in this.

Also, with the boots, these are Fry boots that I picked up resale from Flashbacks in

Encinitas.

I've had them for many years.

Buying boots resale, especially Fry and brands that last for a long time and aren't super

trendy, is a great way to go.

So, off and running in this today.

Today, I am adding a little bit of sparkle to my work outfit.

This is a little sparkly shell that is part of a two-piece suit that I have.

It comes with a skirt as well as a shell.

You can wear it, and have it look like a dress, or you can wear them as separates, which I'm

doing it today.

I picked it up at Bad Madge and Company here in San Diego, one of my favorite places.

Then, I have my magic turtleneck under it.

This turtleneck is from Kit and Ace.

It's just the perfect weight for layering, for this time of year especially.

It seems to this color, this slate gray, seems to go with everything.

I can pair it with everything.

You can see for work today, by putting this turtleneck under this sparkly shell, it really

makes this not be as dressy as it could be, and I think gives it just the right feel.

Then, these pants.

These pants are Chanel vintage trousers.

Look at the little pockets in the back.

They're just the perfect kind of slouchy fit for right now.

I had the length of them altered a little bit.

I bought these at ReLove in San Francisco, and they feel terrific on and are just the

perfect basic pant.

I'm so happy to have them.

Then, finally, these are Stuart Weisman little slides, all leather, that I picked up at a

thrift shop for something like $12.

Really feeling good in this outfit today.

Get to wear jeans to work day.

Today, I do have a pair of my favorite jeans on.

These are Mother denim, Mother jeans.

I love the cut of them.

They're a little bit 70s, and the wash of them is perfect.

They fit really well.

They're a really nice denim that stretches, but isn't too thin.

I've had these, I paid quite a bit for them when they first came out, and it's been about

seven years that I've had them.

Now, the cost per wear, honestly, is something like about one penny.

I've worn the heck of out them.

I love them.

They're still in great shape.

I do think indulging and spending a little bit on a pair of jeans that you love—I have

other ones that I haven't spent a lot of money on, but ones that you love might be a good

thing to do.

I have them with, this is my Serbian blouse.

It's actually from Serbia.

Quite old.

Very vintage.

I had it changed up a little bit, but it feels peasanty and fun.

Then, this is a very special vest that I have.

This is an old vintage Irish sweater.

It's that beautiful Irish knit.

It had these long sleeves.

It was my husband's grandmother's.

I inherited it when she passed, and the sleeves were way too short.

I cut it off into this cute little vest, and I just love wearing it.

It's very cozy.

To top the whole thing off and give it that even more boho feel that I'm looking for,

I have my lovely Sven clogs that I've had also for many, many years.

That's it.

Today, I am going to a luncheon downtown, and I am busting out a couple of my very favorite

resale pieces for that.

The first is this jacket.

It's an Oscar De La Renta vintage jacket that has pants that are matching that go with it.

I wear it together, but I often wear them as separates.

I do wear it year-round, but I love wearing it around the holidays, because it reminds

me a little bit of Christmas wrapping paper, the way that it is, that foil feel to it.

I'll be wearing that with these pants that I bought resale from the Hospice Resale.

Then, these are little red Oxfords that I've had for a very long time, and just a little

Kit and Ace shell to tie it all together, add a little bit of pop of color.

On pants, I haven't asked recently about pant length and what the current pant length is

or are, and I'm telling you, I couldn't be happier with the variety of pant lengths and

how everything goes now.

As a tall woman, I'm about 5'10", I've often had a lot of trouble finding pants long

enough when they had to be to the ground.

I love this new cropped look on the pants, particularly since I am tall.

I can wear them.

I have long legs.

It doesn't cut off my legs too much.

When I first hemmed these pants, and you might have seen them in some other videos, they

were a little bit too short.

I made them a little bit longer.

For the dressier pants like this, I like to wear them mid—right where your ankle is

the thinnest.

For me, that's halfway to my tattoo right there.

I have jeans that I have cut even shorter that go up to the top of my tattoo, particularly

if I'm going to wear any kind of ankle boot.

You want some space between the ankle boot and the pant.

That is it, my friends, for this time.

hey, booktube. it's Sylwia. today I bring to you a video that is not for everyone

if you just love books and feel uncomfortable when people criticize them,

this video is not for you. I reserve the right to dislike books and be honest

about it, the same way you can reserve the right to skip my video. if your

favorite book is on this list or if your favorite books are on this list, I

promise that means nothing about you. you probably have wonderful reasons for

liking these books and I would never want to take that away from you. however,

I disliked or hated all of these books. these are my 1 star reads of 2017. there

are so many books on this list because I read so much garbage, my friends, so much

garbage, that I had to split these books into categories otherwise we would be

here all day. some of these books belong in multiple categories but I did my best

and I split them into one. the first category is it could not hold my

attention or engage me. so, very quickly, the book thief, obsidian, Eragon, Tokyo Mew

Mew Volume one, fallen, days of blood and Starlight, American Gods, splintered, the

left hand of darkness, the bone season, miss Peregrine's Home for peculiar

children, Clockwork Planet vol 1, Angels & Demons, good in bed, bitten, the memory

keeper's daughter, and 1984. the second category, probably my favorite category,

the problematic books. out from boneville, shadow kiss, hot gimmick I don't remember

how many volumes, gone, maybe someday, and easy. category 3 are books I considered to

be poorly written. sweet evil, alienated, pushing the limits, the kiss of deception,

ugly love, tesser: a dragon among us, and archer's voice. the fourth category is

because these books had gratuitous depictions of abuse or rape. the dove

keepers, a Thousand Splendid Suns, and half bad. and the last category are just

books that were disappointing and didn't fit into any of the other categories.

heroine shikkaku volumes 8 through 10, a series of unfortunate events the last

book which is called the end, landline, between shades of gray, and murder of

crows. so my friends those were some of the trash novels that I read this year. I

read so much garbage. these were just the 1 star ones. they were also

two stars and three stars. this was a terrible reading year for me,

and that's okay. that's okay. I had fun. hopefully we learned something. please

My Favourite Phones Of 2017 - Duration: 6:12.

Hey there, Alex here.

The end is near for 2017.

Which is probably the best time to do a round-up of some of the phones that stood out to me

in 2017.

It's going to be pretty subjective of course and you might not agree with my picks.

So be sure to leave a comment below and tell me your favourite phones of the year.

So let's get started.

Let's start with something cheaper first.

I haven't really reviewed that many cheap phones this year, but the one that stood out

to me was the Xiaomi Mi A1.

Essentially, it combines the best of both worlds.

Cheap but decent hardware from Xiaomi, and clean software from Google.

The hardware experience is great for the price point, and that clean Android experience provides

a smoother experience than most budget devices.

It does have a few minor drawbacks.

The lack of NFC for mobile payments being one, and the other would be software updates

being handled by Xiaomi.

But considering the price of the phone, can't really complain.

Then we move on the phone that I think provides the best bang for your buck this year, and

that's the OnePlus 5T.

It is a little more expensive than the OnePlus 5 at launch, but it went from having just

a decent looking screen, to one that looks great.

It is also one of the best performing smartphone that I have used this year, and it does the

rest of the typical smartphone stuff well enough too.

It's not perfect for sure, but at the asking price, it doesn't have to be.

If you don't mind not having water resistance, or stereo speakers, this is a great value

for your money.

Especially when you consider that it doesn't really cost much more than mid-range devices.

The honourable mention goes to the Essential Phone, which saw its price drop to just 499

USD, and at its lowest during cyber monday at just 399.

The OnePlus 5T has great performance going for it, and for the Essential Phone, it's

the great design and premium material like titanium and ceramic.

It also has a nice display with a stunning bezel-less design.

The camera and software experience still has room for improvements, but at 499, it's

a lot more palatable.

Talking about good looking phones, I think the Galaxy S8 gets my vote for the best looking

phone this year.

The near bezel-less infinity display looks great, and I love it because of its really

compact size, and clean design.

In typical Samsung fashion, it is pretty much the complete package hardware wise.

The software experience isn't my favourite, but it isn't that bad either.

In terms of the best hardware overall, it's going to be the iPhone X. Software preference

aside, the iPhone X packs in all the high end specs and features and then some.

Other than the FaceID sensor, you get a new bezel-less screen that looks great, wireless

charging, stereo speakers, water resistance, great camera quality, great performance...

it's pretty much the complete package.

I think the software probably needs more fine-tuning, and the design of the phone isn't my favourite.

But it just does so many things well in terms of its hardware.

That complete package comes at a pretty hefty price tag though.

My honourable mention goes to the Galaxy Note8, which is probably the most complete package

hardware wise on the Android side of things.

It does pretty much everything well except for an awkwardly placed fingerprint sensor.

It even packs in some additional goodies like the S-Pen.

Not everyone will find it that useful, myself included, but it is a great way to pass some

time if you like doodling.

Then my surprise of the year is actually the LG V30+.

I wasn't really expecting to like the phone seeing how late it entered the Singapore market,

but it was a phone I really enjoyed using.

It's packed to the gills.

Other than your typical flagship specifications, it's also packing an excellent sounding

Quad DAC, wireless charging, great haptic feedback, and an ultra wide angle camera that

is really fun to use.

And it's all wrapped in a great looking package.

I still think that LG's software design still needs a bit of work, and the front camera

could be better, but other than that, the V30+ is a surprisingly good phone at a much

more reasonable price.

This year also brought a couple of interesting hardware innovations.

Things like HTC's squeezy sides, Essential phone's modular add-ons, or Apple's FaceID

technology.

But the winner for me is Samsung's pressure sensitive home button.

It's lowkey one of the most useful features for me personally.

No matter whether the button is there or not, a harder press will always bring me home.

So no need to swipe up first before going home when I'm in a full-screen app.

It's one of those features that reduces friction in the user interface, and one that

make me go "why isn't this a standard feature on all phones?".

Which brings us to the last phone I want to talk about.

My favourite phone of the year.

Probably not going to be a huge surprise, but it's the Pixel 2.

The smaller one, not the XL.

It has my vote for hitting all the right notes for me.

It has one of the best camera on a smartphone this year.

It's a camera that I can just point and shoot, and most of the time, the images will

turn out great.

The portrait mode is really good too despite only having one camera, and the unlimited

Google Photos upload is a huge bonus for me since I upload a ton of photos.

Then you get the best Android software experience, with 3 years of fast and consistent updates.

It's also the first in line to get the new versions of Android too.

Hardware wise, it's a pretty complete package to me.

Water resistance and a pair of decent sounding stereo speakers.

The performance is great, and the battery life has been great too.

I know it's not the most modern or prettiest looking phone, but it works for me, and I

love the smaller size of the phone which lets me use the phone easily one-handed.

So this is why the Pixel 2 is my favourite phone of the year.

With that, we're pretty much done for the year.

So frequently asked question number one,

is how do you pick your tattoo?

What do you wanna get?

So my tattoo, i'll have a picture here if you guys wanna see what it looks like.

Cuz I have long sleeves.

But to pick your tattoo, first things first, something that means something to you,

something you're not gonna regret in ten years,

something you're not gonna regret in twenty years,

and something that is not gonna offend anyone who sees it.

So that brings me to the next section, which is where on your body to get the tattoo.

So, I think this is broken up into a few different factors,

the first one being do you want it to be a private tattoo, or a public tattoo?

So are you okay with everyone that walks by seeing that you have a tattoo and what it is?

Or is it something that's meaningful to you, that you don't wanna share with the rest of the world, and you want it to be more hidden?

Also, in some countries, a lot of employers do not want to hire people who have tattoos, and in Canada it's illegal to not hire someone because they have tattoos,

but in some countries it is legal, and some people will not hire people who have tattoos, especially if it's working with little kids.

So when you are planning to get a tattoo,

think about like what job you're in,

think about what you're studying to become,

and think about what tattoo you want to get, because that all factors into where on your body you want to have your tattoo done.

Also in reference to where you want to have it done,

think about pain tolerance.

Tattoo pain depends on where on your body you're having it done.

I had it done on my wrist, and I am the worst when it comes to pain,

and I think on a scale of one to ten, the pain was like a two and a half,

I have a friend who's like a dramatic, like what do they call them, rebels or like daredevils.

Is not afraid of pain, does the craziest things, got a tattoo on his lower back, and it was like brutal.

So I would say definitely when you are choosing where to have your tattoo done on your body; think about your own pain tolerance.

And how bad certain parts can be over others.

The other question I get asked a lot, is how I got my parents' consent to get my tattoo,

because I was sixteen when I got it done.

So, in Canada, when you get a tattoo under the age of eighteen,

you need parental consent.

So I told my dad, once I got all my research,

and knew what I wanted, where I wanted to get my tattoo done, and all this stuff...

I had all my information lined up, went to see my dad, and told him 'I want a tattoo,

here's what I've gathered, this is what I wanna get done,

can I get it?'

He said yes, 100%

Then he said 'let's go talk to your mom.'

Nerves go up, I'm nervous, I think she's gonna say no...

Takes one look at everything I've researched, and it was an automatic yes.

So if you want to know how to get your parents to consent to a tattoo very quickly,

I would say show them how serious you are about it, and that you are mature about this big-life decision.

The next question is how to find your tattoo artist and shop.

So I don't know about where you guys live, but where I live, there's pretty much a tattoo shop on every third block in the city.

But some of them are amazing, and really clean, and the artists are really talented.

Some are horrible, the studios are completely dirty, and the guys know nothing about what they're doing.

So one of my friends went to a local shop that was near our school,

and she got an infection within two weeks or getting her tattoo done,

cause the place was disgusting, and the guy did not know what he was doing.

When I went, I went to the same place that my friend had gone to like two weeks before earlier, and he was raving about him...

So I used the same guy, went to the same studio where he was literally cleaning before the guy before me,

after the guy before me,

before he did mine,

and after he did mine.

So I decided right away this was where I was getting it done,

I did, and I have not had a problem in the two and a half years I've had my tattoo.

And that brings me into aftercare.

So after your tattoo is done,

often your artist is gonna give you this little pot of cream,

that you have to put on a couple of times a day, for a certain amount of weeks, depending on what he or she tells you to do.

A lot of people I know think that it is a gentle suggestion,

and that they can choose to not put on the cream, if they don't want to.

That is incorrect.

Those people, wound up with infections on their tattoos, whereas I listened to what my artist said, and I had no problems.

If your artist gives you things to do,

like before care or after care,

listen to what they say.

There's a reason why they are the artist and you are not.

They know what they're talking about.

So you should listen to what they say.

I also got a lot of questions about how much tattoos cost.

I'm gonna be upfront;

mine was fifty bucks.

For a tattoo this long, and it was filled in every letter that I got.

And it was fifty bucks.

I got a friend who had four roman numerals a bit bigger than my tattoo, filled in, and it was seventy-five dollars.

I have a friend who got an entire sleeve, and it cost like thousands of dollars.

So I think price depends on what you're getting,

how big it is,

is it filled in?

Is it different colours?

Where on your body it is?

And the size, if I didnt already say that.

So those factors all change how much it costs.

And also who your artist is.

Cause if they're like Kat Von D, who's a famous tattoo artist,

they're gonna be hella expensive!

If it's someone who's just starting out as an artist, not gonna be as bad.

So that you guys is pretty much all that I could think about for my own personal advice.
