Hello everyone, in the tutorial today we do the donkey

It's part of the Christmas nativity scene,

which we're doing this year

It is a crochet Nativity, using mostly the amigurumi technique

if you have not seen the previous tutorials

find the link to the playlist in the information box and in the upper right corner

in the previous tutorial we learned how to do:

the Virgin Mary, and St. Joseph

Baby Jesus and the manger

and in the last tutorial we did the ox

the patterns of the ox and the donkey are very similar

in fact today we make the muzzle of the donkey,

which is peculiar to the donkey

then we will follow the pattern of the ox

in fact, the body and a part of the head are the same

so we can use the ox tutorial

also for the donkey's paws we can use the ox tutorial

they are the same, both the front and back ones

even the materials are the same

so stop the chatter and let's start the tutorial

for the snout, let's make a slip knot

starting from the 2nd chain from the crochet

and weaving in the back thread of the chains

round 1: 2 d.inc. (3sc in each ch) (6)

this is the 1st round

we weave in a spiral, so I suggest you mark the beginning of the round with a marker or a thread

from the next round we start

to weave with the main color of the donkey

then we close the last stitch of the 2nd round

with the new color

round 3: 8sc (8)

and in the meantime we hide the yarn tails through the stitches

we hide the tail of white yarn,

through all the points of the 3rd round

and when the 3rd turn is woven,

we gently pull it

in this way we define the shape of the nose

round 4: 7sc 1inc (9)

round 5: (2sc 1inc)x3 (12)

round 6: (2sc 1inc)x4 (16)

round 7: 6sc (1inc 4sc)x2 (18)

round 8: 18sc (18)

when the eighth round is woven

we begin to follow the pattern of the ox,

starting from the 10th round (5':55'' of tutorial)

so we will shape the head

and to the body

this is the result when we weave the whole pattern of the body, of the ox

with a thin cotton thread, I embroidered the mouth

and nostrils

both for the front legs and for the back ones,

we use the scheme of the ox

in this case, I did 2 rounds with the white color,

but you can do them any way you like

for the ears: let's make a slip knot and ch4

starting from the 2nd chain from the crochet

we weave: 2sc

in the last ch weave: 1sc, 1hdc, 2ch, 1slst in the hdc, 1sc

we weave around the chains

therefore, we complete the ear by weaving 2sc

1 in each of the 2 chains

ch1 and cut a long yarn

let's weave another ear equal to this

for the tail we make a tassel

at the end we bring the yarn at the top, in the middle of the tassel

with this thread we sew the tail to the body

if you like you can leave the queue like that

cutting all the threads to the same extent

or, with the needle, we can comb the wool

in this way

comb the wool, until you get the result you like

and when we are satisfied,

with the scissors cut the wool to form the tail

now that we have all the pieces, we have to sew them

first we fix them with pins

I placed the front legs, as I did for the ox

as if he were on his knees

while I have paired the hind legs in this way

so when he will be in the Christmas Nativity

it will be lying this way

because the technique is the same

and I sewed the tail with the long thread of the tassel

even for the donkey, we bend his head,

in the position we prefer

if we want we can bend the snout down, to improve the shape of the horse's head

let's fix the shape of the ears

we sew the beads for the eyes

and now let's see how to make the mane

cut some pieces of yarn, the color of the mane

we do not need a precise length, because then we cut them

as long as we are long enough to bend them in half

and hook them like a fringe

we take a thread, we fold it in half

and place it in the middle of the head

starting from the stitch that we prefer

we enter the stitch with the crochet in this way

we hook the thread

and let the threads pass through the loop

and we pull the threads well

in the same way we do a whole row of fringes

in this way, 1 fringe for each crochet work,

from where to where we want

we tighten all the nodes well

to make sure they do not come loose

we can put some nail polish on every knot

we wait for it to dry

we comb the mane with the needle

we are very careful not to ruin the body with the needle

when you like the result,

you can cut the mane to the length you prefer

Necron Seraptek Heavy Construct Size, Base and Painting Update - Duration: 10:09.

you asked for it so here it is another necron seraptek heavy construct size

comparison plus I want to talk about the base for this model and give you a

painting update it's coming right up

Thursday and Saturday every week ok so today's Forge world necron seraptek video

is going to be a three part video the first thing we're going to do is have a

look at the painting that I've done so far on the model and then as requested

by my subscribers I'm going to do another size comparison this time

against the monolith the tesseract Ark the tesseract vault

nick the vault a doomsday Ark and a triarch stalker and then I want to have a

chat about the base for this particular Ford world model first of all though

it's a painting update ok so this is how far I've got with him so far of

basically completed the silver so I dry brushed him I went in first with iron

breaker then I went back over that with lead Belcher once complete I went into

all of the recesses with a watered down black paint and just blacked in all of

those recesses just to help bring out the detail of the metal work it's

how I paint all of my necrons the guns are going to be mostly black of course

I'm going to have the green energy on all of the green sections including some

of the orbs and they're going to introduce a small amount of gold because

I do have gold in my army as well I'm really loving the model it took me 5

hours to paint it as it is that doesn't include the priming time but it does

include going over the primer with some black paint just touching up some of the

misses so for such a big model the advantage of joint brushing of

course it's very quick just five hours so far and to be fair I'm not expecting

the details to take too long however some of the energy effects on the guns

will probably take the longest so that's how he's looking I really hope you like

him so far right next we could have another size comparison as requested by

my subscribers ok so here we are again we're going to have a quick look at some

extra necron units that i've been requested to show a size comparison on

the channel so first up I've been asked to show the

Triarch stalker the baby brother of the seraptek as you can see they look

pretty cool together although the trial stalker is quite a

bit smaller however also had a request to see the Domesday ark now the Domesday

ark is quite a long model however it's still quite small compared to the

cirrhotic however what about the mono leaf a classic necron unit as you can

see this seraptek isn't that much bigger than the monolith but it

definitely is bigger and it has a bigger footprint so finally I want to have a

look at the biggest unit in the Necron codex

and that is the tesseract vault have had a lot of requests to see the seraptek

up against the vault then of course the vault is on the flying stem which does

make it tower above the seraptek the actual footprint is very similar

although a little bit square ok so finally I just want to show you from a

different angle so I'm going to move around and just if I can go above it

just you can really get an idea of the scale of this thing now of course he

isn't sitting on a base that is what I want to talk about next

ok so I hope you enjoying the video so far now we're coming to the third part

of this video and that's going to be a chat about the base for this model if

you have any comments feedback or advice regarding anything you've seen so far or

that we're going to talk about in the next section

then let me know in the comments box below okay so let's talk about the base

for the seraptek first of all let's have a look at the rules okay so the

rules are as follows if this model is not placed on a base imagine it is on an

irregular hexagonal base with each of the models legs and four limbs at the

corner as shown in the diagram below if a leg or four limb is not physically on

the ground that corner is the spot on the ground level directly beneath the

tip of the four limb or leg for all rules purposes this imaginary base

counts as the model's actual base you must measure distance to and from this

base no other models can move on or through it and so on so that's the rules

but how does that translate to my model because I've got a rather dynamic pose

let's go table down and have a chat okay so first of all let's just analyze what

we've just read so says if this model is not placed on a base imagine it is on an

irregular hexagonal base with each of the models legs and four limbs as a

corner as shown in the diagram below so what it's saying is if it's not on a

base then you use this diagram so in other words if it is on a base and you

ignore this diagram so it's indicating that if you put it on a base you can

have any sized base you'd like well at least that's how I read it

so if I wanted a big round base or a big square base for this thing then I could

do that and effectively in the game that's the base that it will have at

least that's how I read it now reading only says if a leg of

forearm isn't physically on the ground and basically just measure from the

corner of that leg to a spot on the ground directly below it now of course

I've got this rather unusual dynamic pose so my legs are definitely

differently placed to the legs in the make sure they give you so what I've

done is I've cut out a cardboard base to the size of mine legs and as you can see

it is quite an unusual shape of course that's because I've got one leg sticking

out and in the air if I set this up on the model itself like so you can see

I've got quite a small footprint and where this imaginary base is even with

this sticky out section just there so it's very interesting now of course I

could make a base just in these dimensions it would be very hard to fit

the model on there because the base is up to the legs if I made a bigger base

for it maybe an oval base just so that the legs can sit on it and of course it

will look a bit nicer would I be giving myself an advantage or a disadvantage in

game by putting it on to a bigger base it'd be more difficult to deploy it

might be more difficult to get it around the table but in terms of when I'm

assaulted or when I'm assaulting would that be an advantage or a disadvantage

and actual fact that's one reason why I haven't actually done a base for him

because I think he looks super cool with outer base however maybe in the future I

might like to do a base for him I'm just not in a rush at the moment to do that I

have considered putting him on a flying base like I did with my tryout stalker

I'm not a fan of the tryout stalker model I think it's the driver on the top

that I don't like because the cirrhotic although it's almost the same model

where it's actually got a proper head and no drive it sort of makes sense that

it's walking on its limbs whereas for me this one just doesn't really make sense

so I made it into a hovering unit using this flying base and stem but that's

going to be very difficult to do with this one because it is quite heavy it's

going to be quite top-heavy as well if I go for this pose with the stem going

down the middle there now of course where I've got an unusual shape I could

potentially have no base and then just carry this around

with me so if there is an instance where somebody tries to assault me or

something and they say well where is your base well then I've got the base

template I could maybe just pop under it so everyone can see exactly where the

base is now if I do decide to do a base for it's maybe an oval base or a square

base to put it on a scenic base just to make it look pretty

well the issue that I've got there is actually gluing it onto the base I've

only got three contact points on these small legs and this big one here this

one at the back isn't on the ground so I'm a bit concerned about actually

gluing it onto the base I could potentially habits that these feet are

sinking into something so I could make the base a little bit taller just to

give that extra supports but I do like it as it is so I am really undecided

about what to do okay so there you go let me know what you think in the

Last night the House Party presenter was evicted after the first vote-off but was in good spirits when joined with wife Liz Davies on the famous jingle bridge.

Twitter was a sea of viewers branding the show a fix, one said: "Well that vote out was a fix if ever I saw one." Another added: "The whole nation tweeting about how they wanted noel to stay.there's no way he got the least amount of votes #fix." Viewers were also convinced Noel was the only celeb holding his belongings before the results were announced.  The 69-year-old was whisked off to the luxury Versace hotel where all the stars stay after being kicked out of the jungle.

is not a big part of being a mom is it we're constantly surrounded by lovely

noisy children and we kind of grow used to it I kind of miss noise when the

children are not around but I also need my little moments of silence so that I

can be the best version of myself and today I want you to really enjoy a

moment of silence now you're gonna have to make something wait for you to have

your moment of silence so if you need to wait until the kids are in school until

they're in bed or if they're having a nap before you grab your phone or the

remote control the laundry basket remember your moment of silence it will

help slow your heart rate it will regulate your breathing

it will clear your head and just for that moment you're gonna be all there

you're gonna be fully there in that moment so when that moment is finished I

would love for you to take a photo of whatever you made wait if it was the

remote if it was someone or something whatever it was that you said you can

wait I'm gonna have my moment of silence I'd love for you to share a picture of

AWESOME Malaysian Street Food - Duration: 12:50.

We're in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and we want to try some different foods here.

We've heard amazing things about the street food in particular.

Of course, one of the best things about street food

is that it's everywhere, it's cheap, it's cheerful.

So in this video you're going to see us try a whole bunch of them,

starting with this.

This is bandung and she made this special for me.

It's rose cordial with ice and evaporated milk.

It's nice and cold in my hand 'cause it's really hot.

That's good.

This is a really popular dessert in Malaysia.

You'll see it all over.

It's called an ABC, which means mixed ice.

ABC is an acronym for Air Batu Campur, which means 'mixed ice',

and it's really, really popular

and traditionally the ice shavings come out of a machine that you can either

sort of churn with your hand or, more often now, you see motorized ice machines.

They come with all sorts of different toppings but this particular ABC

has sweet corn and sweet milk, which is a mix of evaporated milk and condensed milk

and then there are orange jellies and rose jellies and on top this hot pink syrup is agar agar syrup.

And I love the pink spoon to match.

And when it first came out my first thought was,

'Oh my god, this is what I would order at Malibu Barbie's House.'

Anyone who grew up playing with Barbies,

this is what you imagine them eating on their little picnic table by the beach,

I swear to god.

I am so excited to try this.

I mean, have you ever?!

Like look at how beautiful this is.

The shaved ice is like a snow cone.

It's so hot here and this is going to cool me right down.

Ok I can't wait anymore.

I don't even know where to start.

Maybe I'll…maybe I'll take a sip first.

I got a piece of sweet corn stuck in the straw.

There is definitely corn in there.

Wow, I have never thought of putting sweet corn in a dessert,

especially like an iced dessert.

It's really good actually.

It doesn't…like it tastes a bit odd at first

because I've…I don't associate it with a dessert but it's really good.

And the crunch as it comes up the straw is so good.

It's kind of like an iceberg if the ocean were hot pink coloured.

The pink syrup, because of the sweet milk that's in it, it's like a rose bath.

Like if a rose bathed in condensed milk.

That's what I'm picturing right now.

In Barbie's Malibu house.

I was afraid that it would just be beautiful and not taste good.

Definitely both.

I'm always a fan of being able to slurp or scoop.

Lots of options.

This, you would never guess, is the arch villain of street food.

This little guy is banned almost everywhere.

This is durian fruit and it looks kind of like the backpack of a Ninja Turtle and this

is what you find inside.

It is the craziest, weirdest texture.

It kind of looks like a liver or something and it has such a spongy…can you see how

it just like moves under my finger?

It doesn't, like, break it just sort of moves around.

It honestly feels so, so strange.

I've never had durian fruit before despite travelling through lots of parts of Asia where

there are big signs that say 'NO DURIAN' and always wondered like, 'What's wrong

with this little guy?'

So I'm finally going to try it now.

Apparently it's the smell, it's the smell of the durian, and I have to tell you I have

a really good sense of smell, right Marc?

Yeah.

As my Mom says, 'I smell smells that don't even smell' so you can trust me.

I gotta tell you there's nothing offensive about this smell.

Like I'm not about to, like, rub it all over myself as a perfume or anything but I

really don't understand why this is such a…perceived to be such a foul-smelling fruit.

I really don't get it so…

Oh.

Oh that's weird.

That's…that's real, real weird.

It tastes like a mashed up banana with less flavour.

Actually it doesn't have a strong flavour.

Whoa, that's bizarre.

I can't say I like it.

Like I don't…I'm not loving what I'm tasting right now but, again, there's nothing

offensive about it to me.

I can't figure out why this is such a villain.

It's so cute!

What's wrong with it?

Like I'm not loving it but I'm certainly not hating it either and it is a crazy texture.

Look at this!

Look at that weird texture.

Final verdict about durian: don't love it but definitely don't hate it.

Oh yeah, that's the face of pure ectasty.

Not…not a fan.

Is durian your new favourite fruit?

Not a fan.

Not a fan.

But it is fun to play with.

Final verdict?

Absolutely horrible.

Like stinky socks.

Harsh.

But it is fun to play with.

This is Nasi Lemak.

It's usually a breakfast food but they're selling them to go here so we couldn't resist

and normally this is served in a banana leaf but because it's to go…and they even gave

us two spoons 'cause we're going to share which was really nice.

It's rice with egg and bean.

The red sauce I'm not sure.

I think it's chilli but I'm sure I'll figure that out once I put it in my mouth

and then fish.

This is very traditional and they're selling like hot cakes over here so we were lucky

to grab one.

This rice has this beautiful golden colour.

It's kind of camouflaged with the yellow spoon right now.

It smells good.

Whoa, there's a lot of different flavours in that one bite.

I was expecting to not like the fish but it's very mild and the bean gives this great crunch

and that rice…oh, so fragrant.

I actually think …I think this is peanut.

I don't know even what I'm eating anymore.

It may have got lost in translation there because it's so crunchy and it tastes like

a peanut.

That's a peanut

Ok takes that to the next level because I love peanuts.

So it's peanuts with their skins on.

That's why they were disguised from me, concealing their true identities as peanuts.

Mmm that's good!

Man, I could down this bag in…real quick.

I can see why people are ordering like five or six to go at a time.

I found the egg.

I LOVE boiled eggs.

This is like my go to cheap travel protein.

Yes.

Nasi Lemak, I love you.

I can't stop looking at how cool this drink looks and feels in my hand.

This is called Cendol.

It's really popular in Malaysia.

This is a drink form.

I've also seen it served more with a spoon and a bowl but this is more portable so I

prefer this and it's so cool to see how she was making it.

She starts with these little green almost blades of grass looking things.

They're grass jelly and then this dark molasses coloured syrup elixir at the bottom is sugar.

Basically just pure sugar and then she adds shaved ice to cool it down and on top two

types of sweet milk.

So first a creamer, a sweet creamer, and then condensed milk with a big 'ol straw and

I haven't tried this yet in this form but it is really popular in Malaysia and it's

very hot so I cannot wait to try this.

Oh!

Oh my god, that's good!

I guess it doesn't hurt that there's, like, this much sugar in it but…this nice

big straw.

It's like for, you know, like a bubble tea straw almost and the grass jellies come up

as you're sipping and it is cold.

It's like pouring maple syrup on snow in Canada or something.

This is like the Malay equivalent of that.

It's so refreshing and that shaved ice?!

Wow.

Wow, that's good.

I wish I could just hand this through the screen so you could just try it too.

That's how good it is.

Cool and sweet.

Exactly what I wanted.

Oh, it's so sweet!

It's so cooling though.

But, oh my god, I don't think I've ever had a drink this sweet before.

I love it.

There must be a litre of condensed milk in there.

Well you saw how much of the dark sugar she put in.

Kids would love this!

Parents, get your kids Cendol.

And then leave them at someone else's house.

Kacang Hijau also known as fried green bean.

I love green beans but I've never had them fried in this sort of patty form so I'm

curious what it's going to taste like.

Oh, it's really sweet.

It tastes like a dessert.

I wasn't expecting that at all.

Oh man, I thought it would be really savoury.

To be honest, I can't detect any green bean in this fried green bean.

Let's try again.

No.

It's really good.

It has kind of a…a mealy texture.

It's very sweet.

Doesn't taste like green bean at all, which isn't a good or bad thing.

It's just very unexpected.

A street food I think everyone can get behind: this is a samosa, also known here in Malaysia

as a curry puff, and this particular one has curry and potato inside.

It's not crazy spicy, thank god.

I was a little bit worried.

You can see inside little chunks of potato and that beautiful curry.

I wish they lasted more than a few bites.

Marc and I love trying street food and in Malaysia we've eaten some really tasty things.

Era il 1994 quando la cantante, oggi 48enne, lanciava quella che è presto diventata una hit natalizia internazionale e ancora oggi, dopo tanti anni, anche volendo è impossibile non ascoltare la voce di Mariah con le campanelle in sottofondo in un negozio o in un locale

 Il brano simbolo del Natale è stato scritto dalla cantante e dal compositore Walter Afanasieff e pubblicato dalla Columbia Records precisamente il 1 novembre del 1994 come singolo di lancio dal quarto album della popstar, "Merry Christmas", dedicato completamente alle feste di fine anno

La canzone ha subito raggiunto un incredibile successo e ogni anno rientra nelle classifiche musicali mondiali tra dicembre e gennaio
