Youtube daily report w Dec 2 2018

This video was made possible by WIX.

Non-state, or stateless societies were the norm in the past, and then with the rise of

agricultural practices we got together and formed societies and started to cooperate

in larger groups than our tribe.

And so began our civilization process, but also with it, despotic leaders, human rights

abuses and sometimes brutal laws.

Homo-sapiens, once mostly nomadic hunter-gatherers, banded together and created towns and cities

and sometimes ineluctable hierarchies.

This "Neolithic Revolution" made us more sedentary, perhaps less prone to violence

(that's a hot-potato of a question) and it had a huge impact on our health.

But how do we in our cities compare to 'wild' people still living in tribes?

Today we'll explore this comparison, in this episode of the Infographics Show, Why

is this tribe so far from civilization so healthy?

First of all, we are going to focus on one tribe as that's where a lot of recent research

has been done.

We are by no means saying that being tribal means having great health or that this one

group of people and their health mirrors tribal societies in say the Arctic, Amazon rainforest

or the Sahara Desert.

The Bushmen of southern Africa lead a very different lifestyle from the most remote hilltribes

of northern Thailand.

Interestingly, though, you can find reports of Kalahari Bushmen saying when modern life

encroached onto their lifestyle the price to pay was high – disease, booze and too

many babies to young mothers, writes the BBC.

The hilltribes of Thailand have also been tested by modern consumerism, rife alcoholism

and methamphetamine abuse.

But let's put that aside for now and go across the world to Bolivia.

A BBC article in 2017 said, "The healthiest hearts in the world have been found in the

Tsimane (chee-may-nay) people in the forests of Bolivia."

So who are the Tsimane people?

The BBC says they number around 16,000, but other reports say the population is much smaller

than that at around 2000-6000.

They can be found in lowland Bolivia, and live for the most part by subsistence farming.

This means basically self-sufficiency farming in which you produce enough for you and your

family or group to eat and don't create enough for trade.

The Tsimane also hunt and go fishing for their meals.

In recent years some of the Tsimane have been farming and selling what they grew and also

using cash.

They speak Tsimane, which is what we call a language isolate.

This means it doesn't come from other languages.

But what's interesting to us is their good health.

Let's have a look at that.

If we look at western countries we can see that heart disease is often the number one

killer.

In the USA the Center for Disease Control and Prevention puts it at the top just above

cancer.

The third spot, and way behind, was accidents.

We don't need to tell you that heart disease, despite sometimes just running in the family,

can often be prevented or stalled by having a healthier diet, doing a bit of exercise

and perhaps going easy on the cigarettes and the 14-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch breaks

at McDonalds.

Scientists wanted to find out just how much we might prevent this killer disease by changing

our lifestyle.

To do this they did the right thing and looked at heart disease rates in the USA, looked

at the lifestyle of many people in that country, and then compared it to heart disease and

lifestyle in the Tsimane groups.

The introduction in the paper published by The Lancet said, "To better understand the

association between the pre-industrial lifestyle and low prevalence of coronary artery disease

risk factors, we examined the Tsimane, a Bolivian population living a subsistence lifestyle

of hunting, gathering, fishing, and farming with few cardiovascular risk factors, but

high infectious inflammatory burden."

What did the researchers find out?

Well, after they took a number of flights and even travelled by canoe to get to the

Amazon they found that the Tsimane lifestyle was indeed very different from your average

American, Brit, Frenchman or Canadian.

They found that 17 percent of the Tsimane diet was wild game.

This is a lot of meat.

That mostly consisted of wild pig, tapir (looks like a cross between a pig and baby elephant)

and capybara (kinda like a giant Guinea pig).

They were also partial to fish – about 7 percent of their diet – that came in form

of catfish and piranha.

To fill up, they ate rice, maize, something similar to sweet potato and they also liked

plantains (not so different from bananas).

They also foraged and ate nuts and lots of fruit.

The scientists said that all in all about 72 percent of their calories came from carbohydrates,

which is more than in the U.S. at about 52 percent.

Fats made up 14 percent of their diet, compared to 34 percent in the U.S.

The scientists added that people in the U.S. ate way more saturated fat.

They weren't much different from people in the U.S. in one respect and that was that

both get about 14 percent of their calories from protein, although the researchers said

the Tsimane ate more lean meat.

What about burning those calories?

Well, this is where folks in the U.S. were very different.

Have you been counting your steps using an app?

If so, even if you move a lot in the day 10,000 steps isn't bad at all.

But the Tsimane were averaging 17,000 (men) and 16,000 (women) every day.

Even the people aged over 60 were getting in an average of 15,000 steps a day.

How does all this affect their health?

The scientists looked at something called coronary artery calcium (CAC).

If you have a lot of it, you are on your way to heart problems; you have clogged-up arteries.

At the age of 45 the Tsimane had pretty much no CAC at all.

Americans on the other hand at that age do, about 25 percent of people in total.

When Americans reach 75, 80 percent of them will have CAC.

Only one third of the Tsimane will.

No where on Earth have researchers found people with such good tickers.

A professor of anthropology at the University of California said that Japanese women were

good, but this is a whole new ballpark.

The conclusion is that your average Tsimane person has the vascular health of an American

50-year old when they are 80.

We should add that the Tsimane run the risk of easily contracting infectious diseases

and don't have the healthcare most westerners do.

It's not some kind of health utopia in the Tsimane, but we can learn a lot from them.

Nonetheless, it was revealed, "Two thirds of them suffer intestinal worms and they have

a very hard life, without fresh water, sewerage or electricity," according to one researcher.

They have good hearts, but it doesn't mean they don't face other problems.

How do we get the hearts of the Tsimane?

It's quite simple.

Don't stuff yourself with saturated fats and sugars.

Keep your blood sugar, your LDL cholesterol, your blood pressure, low.

Maybe even more importantly, try to move around a bit and not just during the weekend.

Studies show that in industrialized nations the average person might sit for 54 percent

of the day.

The Tsimane spent about 10 percent of the day sedentary.

But lo and behold, something similar is happening to the Tsimane as has been happening to other

tribal people we talked about at the start of the show.

Modernity is encroaching into their lifestyle and they have started buying sugary goods

and cooking oils at markets.

We are told their cholesterol levels are getting worse.

However, Professor Naveed Sattar, from the University of Glasgow, called the study beautiful.

He told the BBC, "Simply put, eating a healthy diet very low in saturated fat and full of

unprocessed products, not smoking and being active life long, is associated with the lowest

risk of having furring up of blood vessels."

Researchers said while our jobs make it hard for us to move about a lot, that's what

we should try to do, whether walking to work or cycling to work.

That's not always easy in the depth of winter during a bitterly cold, unforgiving December.

Well, try to stand more at work, say the researchers.

Another doctor said this about the Tsimane, "They also live in small communities, life

is very social, and they maintain a positive outlook."

This could be more important than you think.

You might remember reports about the inhabitants of Roseto, Pennsylvania.

Researchers who went there in the 1960s found that people didn't exactly have the greatest

diet; they also smoked, they drank (a lot) and yet they were much healthier on average

than their compatriots.

Scientists, as is written in the book Sapiens, were stumped.

The people of the town, just about all of Italian descent, smoked really strong cigars,

drank with abandon, ate what they wanted, and yet they outlived other Americans on average.

Heart disease rates were much lower than neighboring towns.

Many of the men also worked hard in nearby slate quarries and when they got home it's

said they ate a fatty diet full of cholesterol.

Lots of cheese, lots of salami, lots of fried sausages.

The Huffington Post wrote in 2008, "Wine was consumed in preference to all-American

soft drinks and even milk."

Hmm, is becoming a wino, a sausage addict and chain-smoker the answer to all our health

issues?

Is a bottle of Bordeaux and a stodgy cigar the panacea for that premature knock on the

door by the Grim Reaper?

Not quite so, unfortunately.

This is what the researchers concluded when trying to figure out why these folks lived

longer and suffered less heart disease than fellow Americans:They were happier.

The Rosetans lived in a very tightly-knit community.

They were never alone, they ate together, they drank wine together, they look after

each other.

"No one seemed too unhappy or too stressed out," wrote The Huffington Post.

"And the proof was a heart attack death rate almost half of everyone else around them."

Three families might live in one house.

The old folks were not sent away to drizzle out their last years within the confines of

some deathly care home.

Like the Tsimane, they were very social and took care of their community.

Unfortunately, as time went by, this all changed, and the people of Roseto started to live like

their neighbors.

The American Journal of Public Health investigated the town in 1992, more than 30 years after

the initial reports and researchers said the average Rosettan had become "Americanized".

The sense of community was gone, and so was the good health.

They were stressed, they were sometimes lonely, and the "Roseto Effect" was no longer

in effect.

Perhaps if we deal with our stress and maintain our close relationships, if we have fun as

often as we can and nurture love around us, it can impact our health in a positive way

as it did according to those scientists for the Rosetans.

Maybe we can take a leaf out of the Tsimane book of life and move around a lot more, eating

largely non-processed foods.

Maybe then we will live healthier and longer lives.

How to draw and color the mouth / lips for beginners art step by step tutorial - Duration: 20:32.

Hello everyone it's Ali, today I'm gonna be showing you how I draw and color lips

It's gonna be a tutorial and also I'm gonna leave a guide on Instagram so you can check out there

It's alimixart.

The upper lip is a little bit thinner

So we're gonna start with drawing two circles

Here in the center of the page and the circle below is gonna be a little bit bigger

Not so much then I draw a line in the center and that line is gonna be a little downwards

not a straight line

It's okay if you do it very messy. We're gonna clean it up later and now I connect drawing the upper and lower lip

Something like this, but for the proportions you can see that there's also

Something like two triangles

On each side and you can do it in the lower part as well. This could help you

When I'm doing the the lips lining

and

Now we're gonna start drawing the curves of the mouth. It's really important to remember that

they will be like

two here

alright

Okay, like in same distance and

This one of course

I gotta follow here through this curve and go down to the the circle

And then in the center line we're gonna do it

There is a curve right here and another one on the other side here

Like this and also the mouth will come

Like an M shape here and then it goes down

below and

Upwards

let's just add some details

just like this our sketch is already done and now

we're gonna line the drawing and erase all this mess so that only the lips are remaining

As you can see the shape of the mouth is very very simple to do it very easy

And then with a little bit of practice you're gonna be able to do it without any guidelines or anything like that

So now I'm gonna be going to my coloring method

we're using a base color, which will be a very light shade of pink and

You fill it all in

Now that we have our base colors we are gonna take a

Red color pencil and start drawing getting some some shading. I'm leaving

Little spaces for some highlight space, but it will be like one in here

And one on this side

One here below and a bigger one on this side

The remaining part we're gonna

color it all in red

And you don't really need to press it very hard. Don't worry about this

the whites that

Appears because we need this so that the color we add later on. We'll be

layering

one over another

Now that we've done this I'm gonna get this color pencil which is

It's kinda brown but it has a reddish tone under it

So we're gonna use it to darken the lips make it look

Like the shading is... more real?

Especially in the center and on the edges

That's where we're gonna

Add more color

Now use a medium brown to shade the center of the lips and the edges

And finally the darkest Brown you have to shade

very close to the end of the edges and very

pretty much in the center of the lips

Like this we're almost done now I get a black color and with this I'm gonna give some

definition to the drawing

Especially here in the edges

I'll get the end of the mouth like this and

Then I add just a very little bit of black to the upper lip

And I kind of line the center at the center line we did

So that it can stand out a bit more

And

It kinda is a bit disconnected. So we use the same black

so there's some shading right below the line and

Now that it looks like a shadow

Natural shadow to the mouth. I really enjoy coloring my drawings in very high contrast. So

It does look I think it looks pleasing to look at this way

But only in the very center and don't darken it too much this way we're creating a gradient

That goes from the darker and brown and then it goes goes until it gets to the red and the highlight

And it's not like only two colors we use in one two, three four five colors

to do this, so

It will look very natural

No we line, but not

Everything just very thin line, and let's say

This part now I'm doing the center here

Like this and then the other side a little bit above

As you can see I did not line the entire

Lip because it would look very unnatural but doing it this way it would give a lot more definition

without

taking the

looking natural

Style of the drawing

All right, I'm gonna get the

The brown that has the reddish tone. We use it very in the beginning of the drying

And I'll mix the colors using it here on the darkest place

Because there there are a lot of white space left and if we use that

It's gonna mix a lot better

Yep for the mouth that's pretty much it. We still need to add some highlights

That will be apart from this ones I get it is in acrylic paint

But you can use any other white paint you have or you can use

Some gel pens or whatever

But we're gonna highlight this a little bit more, but first, let's draw the color

Oops, but first let's color

the skin

Then use this very light pink shade and gonna fill in everything this is gonna act as our base color

Now we're gonna use the same reddish-brown we used earlier and we're gonna add some

Darkening to the skin so that it looks more natural

When you come closer to the mouth, you don't leave it you let like a stripe that comes here and don't get too close

with the darkening

I'm gonna draw a line here so that you can see better

When you come close to this part

you choose one side and you come with this color very close to the line and

On the other side instead of doing it on the outside of the line you color inside

like this it's gonna look like there's a

Like there's a highlight here and another here it's gonna give an impression

The right impression. We we are trying to achieve

Little bit of a space as well

Like this we get this and darken just a little bit

and here

Just one side of it and here

like I'm drawing it upwards this shading because the lips are quite

Smiling very little so if you want to make the mouth look sad when you come to this

Lining you can draw it like downwards like this

So that the mouth will look already sad if you want to make it a lot happier. You can draw it

curved a little bit over

So just by changing this edges

You're gonna change the shape of the mouth and the expression so you don't really need to change everything else

And now in here we're gonna shade just on that line we did earlier, we're gonna shade it

Pressing the pencil harder

And now we'll get once again the dark very dark brown and

We'll shade just a little bit in here

very thin

And you don't really press that much the pencil very a little bit on the edges

You're creating a gradient

And in here we're gonna press very hard to create some definition

And shade, right? Cool.

like this we get once again the pinkish tone we used before and go over everything

to fill in the white space

And to mix a little bit more the colors

This time I press this base color very much harder than before

Before we needed to get these white spaces to get a fill more space for saturation

Because if we press the pencil very hard

Then the paper will get saturated and you won't be able to add any shading or any other colors to mix with it. So

This acts for me as a final step I go over with everything with the base color I used

But sometimes I also enjoy using a white pencil

Over everything so that it can blend

better

Like this now we get

The acrylic paint whatever other paint you'll have in there

and we get just a little bit of it and

Add some highlights. I usually draw highlights here in the lower part of the lip

Like this ton't add too much painting

You want it to blend well with the drawing

like this

And one here above

You can choose the places where you do the highlights, I just think it's gonna look good here

And then doing one up here and this part

Yeah, that's it if you want you can

Use the white colored pencil

like this but

Like this and then you go over everything with it the white pencil will blend everything a lot better

especially the skin like this was my follow long tutorial and if you want

Let me show this

Here

if you want I have created a

guide page

That you can find on my Instagram

Here are all the steps

I I have shown you before the the beginning on how you draw the basic shape of a lip and

Proportions and then where you apply the curves once again this part right here

The edges if you go if you go and do it upwards it's gonna be a smiling

Happy lips and if you come with it

Turning downwards its gonna look like it is

Sad so you don't really need to change everything else

Also, you can draw the lips thicker or thinner and you choose it as you please

Here are some details that you can see better

And then here let's come to this part below

And in here

As you can see I did a chart with all the colorings I used it can be very helpful for you

and all the steps that you can follow

So you can find this on my Instagram. It's

ID alimixart (ali mix art) and

Yeah, that's it. I hope you have enjoyed the tutorial and that it could be very helpful for you if you have any questions

Why Is This Tribe So Far From Civilization So Healthy - Duration: 10:51.

This video was made possible by WIX.

If you are ready to create a website, head over to wix.com/go/infographics to try out

one of their premium plans right now.

In recent years some of the Tsimane have been farming and selling what they grew and also

using cash.

Top 10 India Travel Tips - MUST SEE BEFORE YOU GO! - Duration: 6:22.

When travelling in India, there's a lot that can go wrong.

You have to be prepared before you come here.

I've made a career on YouTube helping foreigners travel safely and confidently in India so they can have a life changing experience here in incredible India.

Today, I'm here at India Gate on the magnificent King's Way...

to take you over 10 quick tips, from my India Survival Guide, to help you stay safe and travel confidently here in India.

When you arrive in India, the first important thing to do is get to your hotel safely.

So, make sure you book a hotel pickup from the airport.

It's going to save you money, and if you go outside to those scam rickshaw drivers on the road they're gonna start...

telling you fibs like, "Sir, your hotel is shut down and I'm gonna have to take you to another hotel" or ...

"Your hotel is in a terrible area, I can't let you stay there!" You're going to have to deal with that the second you arrive in India.

So, don't do that. Take hotel transport. And also I recommend that you take guided tour for the first few days here in India.

It's gonna ease you in to life in India. Then you can go off travelling on your own after that.

Just ease yourself in with a professional guide first.

You have to be assertive when you're in India. You're going to be apporached by scammers...

all day long here in Delhi and other parts. And they're going to be asking you to come to their overprices shops or worse..

And you have to be able to just tell them to go away.

You can tell they're a scammer pretty easily because the first thing they're going to ask you is "Where are...

you from?" Then they're going to spout off some fact about your country that's going to wow you and then...

they're gonna ask you a few more personal questions and then the conversation is going to go straight to money.

They're gonna go, "How can I help you? Do you want to buy a pashmina? I can take you to a shop!" As soon as money enters the equation...

you know they're not just a friendly local they're pretending to be. There's something more. They just want you money basically.

So, you have to be assertive with them. You have to be able to tell them, "No, go away, I'm busy. I don't want your help."

And don't worry about being rude about it.

And that's exactly how you have to deal with them. You have to be like that. You have to tell them, "No, enough, बस."

Now I know this next tip is what a lot of people are worried about: sexual harassment here in India. And it is a problem.

One tip I can give you is don't be overly friendly here. I'm a friendly guy and that has landed me in some trouble sometimes.

If you stare back at a guy, if you smile back at a guy, here that's a signal that you're interested.

So don't be overly friendly, you've gotta...

You have to keep a balance between guarded and friendly. You can't be overly friendly and actually I can't do sexual...

harassment enough justice in just this video. You're going to have to check out my video on

sexual harassment in India on my channel and I'll link to it in the description. That's going give you...

That's going to take you inside the minds of these guys and give you tips on how to avoid this.

As you just saw with that guy offering me chickpeas for breakfast cleanliness and food hygiene is an issue.

I can't eat from his dirty bucket he's been carrying around in the traffic and everything. And the same goes for ice.

Don't take ice at restaurants.Even if you ask the waiter, "Is your ice clean?" They're not going to know and of course...

they're going to tell you "Yes" because what restaurant is going to say they serve dirty ice.

Clean water for us and clean water for people here in India is a different thing, and we just can't handle their water here.

When exchanging money here, especially on a street level you have to check the 2000 rupee notes that you are given

It's not rude to hold it up to the light and check that you can see Gandhi's face in the white window and than you can...

a solid black line next to it.

When you're in India, you're going to have to learn to bargain and one of the golden rules here is:

Before you buy anything always negotiate the price up front. Don't wait until after the taxi ride or whatever to bargain the...

the price, because at that point it's turned into a fixed price and they're going to quote you something really high...

and you can't bargain at that point. They're going to get angry at you if you try bargain after the fact.

So always check the price upfront and bargain upfront.

If you get sick in India, and it happens to most of us here, you have to go straight to a hospital. Don't hang around if you...

have a stomach infection. Because these stomach infections don't go away on their own! They're different to what we have...

overseas. They just stay there, and I waited like 3 or 4 days, and after 3 days I was so weak that it was just hard to go to the hospital.

So go to the hospital straight away if you have a stomach infection and just be careful that they don't overprescribe you too many...

pills. Ask what ever pill is they're prescribing for you. And don't take the ones you don't think you need like they're going to...

painkillers when you might not need them, okay? So, just check everything the doctor is prescribing you.

And finally, it's coming up to that time of year when all the farmers in this area, in North India, they burn off their crops and all the...

pollution comes here to Delhi and the surrounding states. And it gets really unbearable.

You need to wear a pollution mask if you're coming in Winter. During others time of the year, the pollution really fluctuates so I just wear...

a mask when I can actually see the pollution is terrible. And you will see how bad it is if you come here during peak travel season...

in December. And you can actually see the pollution here today. It's very polluted. You should be able to see Rastrapati Bhawan...

or The President's House from here.

If you want to travel safely and have a positive life-changing time in India, you have to read my quick-start safety guide...

at indiasurvivalguide.com

It's going to teach you things like street smart safety, how to avoid scammers, how to bargain for the best price...

what food is safe and what isn't, and it's going to each you so much more.

It's a really quick read so you can read it while you're on the plane, on the way to India, so when you step off that plane...

when you step out of that airpot you're going to be feeling so much more confident about travelling here in India.

And you're going to have a great time here in incredible India.

So check out my book at indiasurvivalguide.com

How to Make a Homemade Acne Treatment Using Young Living Essential Oils - Duration: 12:26.

Hi, I'm Kelly from FreebieFindingMom.com and this is my son Ian Ian

And today we're gonna be making what are we making today in? Oh

Oh, maybe

acne

Treatment we're gonna make a homemade acne treatment recipe

So as you watch this video if you will, please give it a like or a heart

We would appreciate it. And if you find that this tutorial will be helpful for you. Share it to your Facebook page

So today, like I said, we're gonna make a homemade acne treatment recipe

But if you are someone who is not interested in making your own homemade beauty products

But more interested in buying products stay tuned because when we're done with the tutorial on how to make your own homemade beauty

Come on your home and acne treatment. I will share with you my favorite acne treatment from young living

But right now we're to go ahead and get started and show you just how simple

And easy it is to make your very own acne treatment recipe at home in just simply minutes

Alright, so all you need you want to tell what we need for our recipe?

Just okay first we need a one and only Oh ten drops of lemon essential oil. That's right. Very good. You remember that? Okay

Ten drops of lavender essential oil

and

The biggest bottle we can find for this and ten drops of tea tree oil

So what you'll need you'll need those three oils

Plus you will need about a quarter of a cup of coconut oil and then show the mason jar

We're probably going to use ice. It's about a 4 ounce side

That's the coconut oil and then got 4 ounce size of a mason jar for our homemade acne treatment. Okay, it's always your fault

Ok, alright

so first things what we're gonna do is we're gonna take our quarter of a cup of coconut oil and we're gonna add it to

Our mason jar, right? Okay. So let's go ahead if you're just joining. We're making a homemade acne treatment recipe

Alright, so I will angle this down as Ian attempts to put the coconut oil into our mason jar

So please Scott this on that's okay. It's

Alright so Ian, let's see what you're doing. Okay, are you in do you hear?

Kind of let's move this up a little bit

Alright, so what we're gonna do is we're just gonna put air a cup of oil into our little mason jar here ready, honey

I'll let you let me get the rest of okay, then you get the rest. All right, why he's adding that I remind you

why we use coconut oil a lot in homemade beauty recipes is quite simply because it is so hydrating and moisturizing and

It's a really good base for a lot of homemade beauty recipes right in

So that was about like I say a quarter of a cup of coconut oil into our mason jar

Let me point this back up. Hopefully sorry about my hand there. So that was

Alright so that was a quarter of a cup of our coconut oil into our mason jar

Then what we're going to do is we're going to pop that into the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds only to really kind

Of just soften the coconut oil before we incorporate our essential oils. So Anne say hi to Nana and all our friends out there. Why?

That's great. Thank you just say thank you thank you for

Huh, alright, so like I said, we have our coconut oil

We're in there now like I say about 10 seconds

It's really all we need to just kind of soften it we before we incorporate our essential oils. So stay here the magrav this

So what we have here is is the softened coconut oil in here not en. Are you ready to add your essential oils?

Yeah, okay, so that laugh I need lemons. So Ian's gonna start now we have melted while we stop it

Teri, hi teri, thanks for joining

But so we softened of our coconut oil and now Ian's gonna add you need help and hand drops of lemon essential oil

So the reason we're adding lemon essential oil I could get it or you got it

Okay. Be careful

We're adding lemon because lemon is really good to help reduce acne is also very nourishing and very it's very fact that lemon battle

Yeah, okay. It's also very nourishing for her skin lemon also can be hydrating as well

And it also has some antioxidant are not antioxidant anti-aging properties to it

So that's what I love about a lot of these homemade Beauty recipes is they oftentimes will serve dual purposes

So this is a homemade acne treatment, but you also are going to get some anti-aging benefits and with the other essential oils

you'll get some anti-inflammatory benefits -

Uh-huh, okay

It's okay. Okay. Thank you. It's okay. That's fine. It's a way she waved to us. That's nice

O'Casey hi. Also hi

So all you got another likea now, how excited are you? Okay, so

so yes adding our 10 drops only 10 drop our lemon essential oil and

Okay, and so like I say, it's a very it's great for anti-aging. It's also really good for acne

Oh, look who's watching. Now? You see who that is. Nana. Say hi, Nana. All right, so now yeah, it doesn't work

You know you added several lemon

So he added several drops of lemon is really opposed to be 10 drops of lemon essential oil who gave you a heart now

Is that Nana? All right, so now Ann's gonna add 10 drops

Okay

Shirley no, it's Nana. So now Ann's gonna add 10 drops of lavender essential oil now

We're adding lavender because lavenders we've talked many times is really good for homemade beauty recipes

But specifically for this recipe lavender is great for for acne treatment, so I'll open it for you. Okay, it's great for it

Not only helping with acne. It also helps with age spots

If you suffer from any age spots, I wouldn't I highly encourage you to check out lavender essential oil

It's also lavender is also an anti-inflammatory and it also has

Antioxidant properties careful with that and it helps ease any skin conditions. So if you are someone who has any sort of like

anti-inflammatory issue like hey Joe up some

Okay, so did you put ten in there yeah, okay

So if you have any skin condition it can help with that and lavender can also help with anti aging as well

So again, you're going to anti-aging benefit as well in your in your acne treatment

All right. So now we're gonna stir them but just wait. So yeah

okay, that is your tea tree, Selassie and is going to add 10 drops of our tea tree essential oil a huge bottle and

This one's bigger than this one, okay. Do you know why that is?

Okay, let me tell them because look at you put your drops in there and let me tell them so that's a good point actually

In so the bottle that he has opening now is for teach me because that does not come in the premium starter kit

So this is a 15 ml bottle

So this has many more drops than what you're going to get in the premium starter kit bottles

Which are 5 ml could have about 80 drops. So

So you're go ahead go ahead and add your 10 drops of your tea tree right now

And then we'll go ahead and stir it up

Okay. Thank you, sweetie

All right, so it's adding our 10 drops of tea tree just 10 of our tea tree oil and tea tree is great

It's really good for acne. Tea Tree is also up and sorry it's okay extra benefit. It's fine

So it's also antibacterial and tea tree is also

Anti-inflammatory. So if you have any sort of skin conditions like eczema or something like that

You're gonna want to check out tea tree essential oil. It's really good for those sort of like I say skin conditions

You're also gonna get some anti-aging benefits as well

So in all of these oils meaning lemon lavender and tea tree, you're getting the benefit of having, you know acne treatment

But they also help with anti aging and a couple of them help with anti inflammatory issues

So if that's a concern for you, okay. Thank you. All right

so yeah, it's gonna go ahead you want to go ahead and stir up but

It's yours. That's why you're serious. So he's gonna stir it up now. I will say um

I'll point down here really quick, please

You love the smell. Oh

It's not work that's not horrible

Right, okay, so that's good. Okay. So right now we've softened it right because we put it in the microwave

so what I would do then next is I

would encourage you could go ahead and put it in the refrigerator for a little bit and to go ahead and kind of

Harden it

I'll get it to set a little bit you don't to harden but really kind of set it up a little bit

But we had to soften it so that we could easily incorporate our essential oils

So the way you're going to use this and now mind you ours is not set yet the way you're going to use it

He's gonna wash his hands the way you're going to use

This is you're just gonna dab it on wherever the your acne spot is. Do you want to put it on me?

right now you want to okay so you can go ahead and I know like I said

This is not set up at this point yet because we haven't put in a fridge

But just to kind of give you an idea of how you apply it

I'll see if Ian wants to you want to wash your hands first soda?

So like I said in this recipe

all you needed was a quarter of a cup of coconut oil which we went and put in our four ounce mason jar we pop

It in the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds, and then we incorporate our essential oils

We needed lemon lavender and tea tree lemon and lavender coming your premium starter kit

And when I hop off this video, I'll drop the link to get yours if you don't but yeah

But the tea tree is one you'll have to get and I'll drop the link down there for that as well

Tea trees are really good very useful oil to have on hand if you have

If you plan on making any homemade beauty recipes at all, it is a really really good oil for beauty. Are you ready?

Okay suit it in there. Thank you. Okay, so there we go. Alright, so now Ian is going to

Carefully apply this to my face, right so but it's a spot treatment for acne. Go ahead and this is not set up yet

So it's gonna be a little bit more running than what we would like it to be but that's okay. I mean it's still effective

Okay. So what she would do is like I said, you can apply it you can ply with your finger, too

But they recommend that you typically apply it with a cotton swab. What are you doing? Don't injure me, please. Okay. There we go

alright, so

It's okay. It's my is it good?

I know I had a little bit of cover up concealer on before

Alright, so and show you that's okay

alright

so if you were into homemade beauty recipes

that is how you make a homemade acne treatment as you can see it took just a few minutes to make and here's someone who's

Not interested to make your own homemade beauty, but you want a really effective acne treatment. Okay, that's enough. Okay

So then next we're going to show you the

Acne treatment that I use every single day and that is from young living that is there

It's called a maximum straight strength acne treatment. I like I said, I use it every single day in the morning

You can actually use it if they say one to three times a day

But it is for like I say if you're not into making your own homemade Beauty recipes

Which is truly the best way to use your premium starter kit and to save the most amount of money. Yes

But anyway, so this homemade acne treatment

This Homan acne treatment in the reason this is so powerful to use and I think it's what is it - like 26 dollars

I think wholesale on Young Living but the reason it's so powerful is is actually a naturally derived

it has salicylic acid which comes from the wintergreen and

Which makes it great for helping with blemishes and blackheads and all kinds of pimples and that sort of thing

Like I said, I use it every single day

But if you really want to get the best value for your money

I encourage you to try to make your own homemade acne treatment because it's really simple as you saw

Also in here is you will have I don't know what bian has but also in here you will have

Thank you tea tree essential oil and which is great tea tree as we talked before is really good for acne

But also is antibacterial which means it's going to help cleanse your skin as well

Also in here is manuka oil, which manuka oil again is gonna help with blemishes

So there's a lot of really good benefits in this ingredient and this recipe are in this product

But I highly encourage you to check out the homemade beauty recipe if that's something you think that you would be up for

So yeah what you're gonna say

Okay, but right now why don't you just show this right now

So maybe in a future video we will show you how to make our handsome that we make hi Cindy

Thanks for joining we make and we did this didn't we did we do this together ideas for myself. We made a homemade

This is homemade hand soap. So in a future video, we will show you how to make homemade hand soap

Okay, but for right now if you don't have your premium starter kit

I'll drop the link as soon as I hop off this video. What do you want to say to Nana?

Oh, they know we did the peas last week. This is our thieves cleaner that yen's getting out that we use and that's

Yes, so if you have any questions about about essential oils or about this acne recipe go ahead and leave them in the comments you

Can always message me as well. Yeah and USA. Bye

But like I say, I will drop the link to this tutorial that's on Freaky Friday mom

I'll drop the link down in the comments as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch this video

Anyone say one two three, ah

Bye. Have a great day. Bye

Not get back to you guys

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah

You do you I do me

presents for people

Yes. Anyway, let's jump into the video

Morning's

Morning's isn't that like everybody's favorite part of the day

Everybody's favorite part of the day

anyway

When I wake up in the morning

It takes me around five to ten minutes to fully wake up

Unless I set alarm then I wake up immediately, but naturally wake up pretty slow slowly, but surely

Then I open up my blinds and then once I open up my blinds sometimes my rooms still dark

So then I put on my Christmas lights

Sometimes it's still too dark for me to see things and just like stuff like that

So I put on my main lights perfect bright

Morning wakes you up. You can't really fall asleep after seeing like bright lights. That's what I noticed

anyway, I started to make my bed with my Christmas pillows with my throw with my

thick layers because it gets cold and

you do not want to be sleeping cold because

Being cold in sleeping is really uncomfortable

Once I am done making my bed takes me one to two minutes. I

Will change into my pajamas after I lay on it one more time. Goodbye

Then I go into my closet pick out my clothes

Typically, it's like a random graphic tee and then some sweatpants or like just black tights

And then I go into my bathroom to change into them

But before I change into them, I'll have my little dance party

Of brushing my teeth

So what happens is while I'm brushing my teeth. I listen to music and this at least takes me in 20 minutes

So that's probably why I always wake up at 6:30

Just cuz I can have this 20 minutes of listening to music

Okay, so that's exactly what I do every single morning once I'm done

Changed my clothes

I come downstairs and have breakfast which is typically in activia yogurt and a water. This one was hard to open

That's why I did the cross-eyed face. I

Eat it

drink water

Go to school or stay at home in Philly

Thumbs up and also if you do give it a huge thumbs up, then you're gonna get even higher so it's like a win-win

either way also don't forget to leave some questions down below that I will be answering in the

Next video which fingers crossed will be out by this Wednesday fingers crossed

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed don't forget to subscribe down below. I'll see you guys in

hopefully fingers crossed

Stoichiometry problem grams to mole | Stoichiometry 101: Part 3 - Dr K - Duration: 4:08.

This is part three of the stoichiometry 101 series. In this video we're gonna

look at solving mass A to mass B question. Here's the stoichiometric plan we'll be

using. I've explained the plan in the first two

videos so do check them out if you haven't seen them. I go through in detail

how the plan is developed and how to use it to set up solutions for

stoichiometric problems. The link is on the top and in the description box below.

Now, let's read the question. We're given an equation and asked to find the moles

of Na2S2O3 that are needed to react with 42.7 grams of AgBr. So the

first thing we need to do is find out what we have and that's 42.7 g

of AgBr and what does the question wants? It's moles of Na2S2O3.

Since we're dealing with two substances here, which is AgBr and

Na2S2O3, we'll call them A and B respectively. A is for what's given. B is

for what we need to find. So our starting point is what we have, and ending point is

what the question wants. Next, we'll tag our start and end point on our stoichiometry

plan. So our start point is grams A and end point is mole B. Looking at the

plan, it will take two steps to go from grams A to moles B. Before we begin setting

up to solve the question we need to make sure that we have a balanced equation. so,

if you need a refresher on balancing equation, I'll link a video on the top.

So, it looks like we can easily balance this equation by placing a 2 in front of

Na2S2O3. With that we are now ready to set up the solution.

In step 1, we'll go from grams A to moles A and in

step two we'll go from mole A to mole B. A in this case, like I mentioned before is

AgBr and B is Na2S2O3. Step 1 is to divide the given mass, 42.7 grams with

the molar mass of AgBr. That comes out to be 187.77 g/mol.

If you need a refresher on calculating molar mass, I'll link the

video on the top as well. So we take 42.7 grams and divide it

with 187.77 g/mol and we get 0.2274 mol.

What we have just calculated is mole A, which is the mole

of AgBr. Moving on to step two, we are supposed to multiply what we got from

step one with the coefficient ratio from the balanced equation. Coefficient B is

the number in front of Na2S2O3, which is 2. Coefficient a is the number

in front of AgBr, which is 1, so, we take 0.2274 mol and multiply with 2

over 1 and that gives us 0.4548 mol. If you need to present it in three

significant figures, then it's 0.455 mol. That's the mole of

Na2S2O3,3 which is what the questions wants us to find.

To recap, we start off by reading the question and figuring out the

information we have and what the question wants. Then, we figure out the

pathway using the plan. Before we proceed, if the question involves two substances,

A and B then we need to make sure that our equation is balanced. Once we get

that sorted out we follow the set up and solve the problem. You can solve

practically any stoichiometric questions this way successfully every time.

For more examples, watch out for more videos in this stoichiometry 101 series.

Hope the video was helpful. Do subscribe and thanks for watching!

UCF's McKenzie Milton Posts Message Ahead of Memphis Game (VIDEO) | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:04.

UCF's McKenzie Milton Posts Message Ahead of Memphis Game (VIDEO) | Heavy.com

UCF quarterback McKenzie MiltonIt was a scary scene when UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton suffered a gruesome leg injury against South Florida in the team's last game.

The moment left the entire stadium in silence and led to an outpouring of support for the young signal-caller shortly after.

While he's now in the process of recovering from the injury, the team is set to play in the American Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday.

The entire situation was a scary one, so it's good to see him sounding positive and sending some a message like this.

As ESPN's Andrea Adelson reported shortly after the injury, Milton's father revealed the quarterback underwent surgery to repair his knee and other "internal issues.".

Coach Josh Heupel had no specific update on Milton's condition after the game, only saying the quarterback was in the hospital with a "traumatic" injury.

Milton underwent surgery Friday to repair his knee and other "internal issues," according to his father, Mark.

McKenzie Milton Will Not Attend Game vs.

Memphis.

Although the star quarterback surely would love to be in attendance when No.

8 ranked UCF takes on Memphis for the conference title, that won't be the case.

Milton's mother revealed that information on Twitter shortly after the surgery, citing that the doctors and trainers advised against it.

"I am very positive he won't make the game Dr's and Trainers advice to Riskey.

First thing he asked .

my son the gamer !Maybe the Face Time idea would be ok if he is up for it I will ask him today.

He has a lot more recovery ahead," Teresa Milton noted on Twitter.

While Milton will not be at the game, there was some good news that came to light earlier in the week.

As ESPN's Andrea Adelson reported, the quarterback told a teammate he was able to take steps for the first time since the injury this past weekend.

Milton's Impressive Recent Seasons With UCF.

Milton has continued to play at a high level over the past two years, and through UCF's first 10 games of this season prior to the injury, he threw for 2,577 yards with 24 touchdowns.

The signal-caller also did an excellent job avoiding turnovers, tossing just five interceptions.

He rushed for 307 yards and nine additional scores on the ground for good measure.

His 2017 campaign was exceptional and helped bring him into the national spotlight.

Milton completed 67.1 percent of his passes that season for 4,037 yards, 37 touchdowns and just nine interceptions.

His ability as a dual-threat quarterback was on full display, as he also added 613 rushing yards and eight more scores as a runner.
