yes I'm home,

it was actually really good timing;

my flight was delayed like 45 minutes but,

when I got back,

Annabelle was just getting out of class

so I was only home for like a few seconds before annabelle

-seconds??

um it was like less than a minute.

yeah, it was really useful.

no I would have, but I didn't need it.

that way I don't have the charge anymore -yeah exactly

I got compliments on it,

like 2 different girls were like, "I love the colour of your suitcase!"

one was at the rental car pickup place,

another one was just randomly in the airport.

she likes this attention

can you put this in the cold weather drawer?

-actually, we're gonna be packing to go home so I'll keep this for skiing.

you have a bunch of black socks but they're slightly different,

so then I don't know...

-they're a bunch of pairs that are just mixing mismatched as long as they're same length..

she's disgusted

my hair is still pretty dry from the nature lab shampoo that I tried out

a couple of days ago, so I won't be using that anymore,

I'm gonna have Tyler and my sister use it because volumizing shampoo does take away more of the grease

and dry your hair means there's more air and more volume but,

my dyed hair is already very very dry,

so I'm gonna look for a hydrating shampoo,

I know that nature lab also makes three other different ones

- I shouldn't have chosen the volume one I guess I just gave my hair a little trim,

which I do pretty often

I cut more than usual at this time, so there and just use any ordinary scissors

and it's not any fancy hair cut I just shortened the entire thing.

for me it's also a way to just maintain my hair from breaking any further,

you just trim regularly. I don't need to go to the salon for that,

because it's not worth paying almost $20.. there's something I can do at home,

and I've also had too many mess-up jobs

where I just told them to take a tiny bit off,

and it's like some people just really suck.

if you want to get 3 inches of your hair cut just tell them you want 1 centimeter,

and they will cut 3 inches for you.

I've just been sorting out things on my computer and writing my rough draft for an essay,

takes a lot longer than I died away I was editing another written piece from earlier this semester

the Sun is almost setting,

it's 4:00p.m.

and I'm still working on my essay draft.. but I'm just getting kind of cabin fever from being...

sitting on my bed or the couch working for hours,

and I just want to go to studio already,

I need to breathe outside air,

I have to pee- I need a change and then

I'm gonna do some other work I don't like to just complete one assignment on to the next on to the next,

I kind of like to plan some sort of...

trade-off schedule,

so that I can do them incremental e once again I'm still wearing this.

it's just really comfortable I'm really tempted to go into studio with my pajamas though

*screech*

I need to make small pieces for my project that I'm gonna sew back together...

okay, well I realized that I need to go buy my own a shuttle to weave,

I've been using extra one this from my friends,

but, nobody is here right now,

and I only have one and when you just have one, but you need to use multiple yarns it's very time-consuming

to do the others by hand.

and I've washed my hands and now I'm just..

I'm excited to go come home later, Tyler is cooking GyuDon dinner tonight,

but I have a couple more things to get done. but my stomach is screaming at me,

I need a snack,

so I'm caving in, and I'm gonna go to the vending machine.

I'm home now!

I'm on season three now,

I'm just thinking to myself that we were really far into the series but

we're only three seasons in eight

-I mean that's a lot..

we only started it like a month ago

I'm all set for bed,

prairie doesn't like to cuddle with us,

so at time she sleeps on this stool and doesn't really mind just being pushed up next to us

I already showered this morning so I'm good for tonight,

and last night...

we went to bed at 9:00,

we didn't see that coming, just getting so tired,

but I just wanted to mention something hilarious that happened.

-no!! - we went to bed at 9:00 -no!!

and..

when I woke up we both thought it was like early morning,

but it was only midnight but like I woke up from the sound of

Tyler..

'snoring'

horrificly, like -I wasn't sure what was going on,

- I wasn't snoring, I was snorting

-okay he was making... the weirdest noise ever..

I was like, 'wake up!! what's wrong!!'

-I was like 'what?'

he was literally like... *disturbing snorting*

-so I was having a dream that she was getting attacked or, we were getting attacked by like predators..

and I had to save her so I was trying to make a non-human sounding distraction.

so I was like, I don't know why I thought I'd be a pig but I

-literally -was just like *snort* *snort* *snort*

-It was worse than that -really?

*SNORT*

*laughs* kind of like that!

-so I just woke up to that -Wasn't even that loud

but I can't believe that it happened in reality. in the dream it felt so..

*laughter*

-I think i put it in the tote

some of my Black Friday orders came in- I made four orders.

I was thinking to do a separate

haul, for just athletic wear cuz I got

athletic wear,

I wanted to

try them on, cus I'm not gonna do it right now

but I finally got some of my own workout gear that is in colors that I like

I also got

glossier for Black Friday but,

actually nothing for me, but I wanted to just have a tiny giveaway because

originally I wanted to organize

a pretty big one,

..and compiled a lot of things. by the time I feel like I can get everything together,

for that big giveaway the year will be over.

for this giveaway, it's glossier products, and there will be two winners,

basically one is in each set is one of the liquid blushes

called cloud paint.

one balm-dot-calm, which is lip balm

in that tube lip gloss

that I use and I like and people ask me what I'm wearing when I do wear it,

and then

the eye shadow,

and I can show you what this one looks like,

this shade is Lily so the first set will have the

purple eye shadow,

the Rose balm-dot-com, and

cloud paint in the shade beam, which is a light coral.

the second set is the same products in different shades,

so the lip gloss is the same because they only have one the cloud paint is dawn,

and it's a... vibrant red orange

the balm-dot-com is mint and not tinted, that's the one I have and used and I really like it,

and,

the eye shadow is in the shade cub..

which is a bronze,

or a copper.

Why Should You Pick the 2019 Audi A6 Instead of an SUV? - Duration: 10:05.

MARK TAKAHASHI: There's no doubt that SUVs

have been dominating US auto sales for quite some time.

They have much larger cargo capacities

and more rear passenger space.

So why would someone want a luxury sedan instead of an SUV?

Well, I'll tell you, because they're

a lot more fun to drive.

Before I jump into this A6, do me a favor and hit

subscribe below.

We have a lot of great videos coming your way.

The 2019 Audi A6 has been completely redesigned.

It's on sale now, prices starting right at $60,000.

There's only one engine available.

It's a turbo charged, three-liter V6

that puts out 335 horsepower.

That's made it to a seven-speed automated dual clutch

transmission, and quattro all-wheel drive is standard.

Those specs aren't really that far off from the last A6.

I don't expect it to drive that much differently as a result,

but there's only one way to find out.

Let's go for a spin.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Here I am driving the all new 2019 Audi A6.

It's fully redesigned, but at the same time,

it's not all that different.

It's familiar in a lot of ways in how it drives.

Dynamically, it's pretty much exactly what

you'd expect from an Audi midsize luxury sedan.

The needle really didn't move too far one way or the other,

and that's probably a good thing.

I've always liked the level of engagement, the level

of performance from Audis.

Really the big difference with this Audi is technology.

This whole center stack has been completely redone.

We saw it first on the A8.

I'm a little torn on how it works because they got rid

of the MMI knob, which I thought was a great way

to control systems like this, and gone

with two split touchscreens.

And so far on this drive, I'm not

sold because it's demanding a lot more attention than just

the knob.

What I am enjoying is the performance.

It gets up to speed just fine.

Shifts are nice and smooth and quick,

which is impressive for a dual clutch transmission.

Those tend to be a little choppy or abrupt from time to time.

And even at slow speeds, it's smooth

and doesn't have any of those awkward lurches.

One thing that I thought was a little odd

was the sound of the engine.

So doesn't quite sound like a V6 to me.

It sort of makes the case for BMW and Mercedes

piping in some of those synthetic sounds.

But that's a nitpick.

It drives great.

The steering is fairly light.

I'm actually in dynamic mode right now.

You have the option of getting all-wheel steering,

and that certainly helps with maneuverability

in tight spaces, but also smooths out

some of the motions when you're steering.

The rear wheels will steer in conjunction

in the same direction as the front wheels

to just get it carving a little more gracefully without having

it whip around quite as much.

Handling is pretty much what you expect for a luxury sedan

like this in the class and from Audi.

It handles confidently, a ton of traction coming out of turns,

thanks to the all-wheel drive.

And you know the quattro system--

a little smarter of how it proportions the power, but also

can disconnect itself when you're not using it,

when you don't need that much traction.

If you're just on a straightaway on a highway,

it'll disconnect and improve fuel economy.

In terms of power and performance,

this A6 drives a lot like the previous A6.

It is just slightly heavier because

of all the added feature content,

but with all of the advances in engine technology

and efficiency--

plus this has a 48-volt mild hybrid system--

gets two miles per gallon better than its predecessor.

The ride quality is pretty much what

you'd expect from a luxury midsize sedan.

I'm in dynamic mode right now, so I'm

going to switch to comfort.

If you noticed, I had to look down to do that.

And that's something that just kind of irks me.

I liked the previous button for a drive select,

and I didn't really have to take my eyes off the road

to do that.

These are just kind of the flat, haptic feedback buttons here.

Like a lot of the new Audis, this

has a higher level of adaptive cruise control,

which kind of gets into that territory of automated driving.

It's called predictive control, and it's pretty trippy.

I first experienced this with the Q7 a few years ago,

where you set the target speed as you would with any cruise

control system, but it's using map data and all the cameras

and sensors.

As you head into a turn, it slows you down.

When you come out of a turn, it speeds you up,

which is what it's doing right now.

It's in a fairly conservative setting right now, so it's

slowing me down a little more than I would if I was actually

in complete control of the car, but you can actually adjust it

and be a lot more aggressive.

So I'm actually not touching any of the pedals right now.

I'm just steering.

Another thing I'm enjoying right now is the massage.

I do like massaging seats, especially when you're

behind the wheel for hours at a time.

Kind of shifts the pressure points away and just

relieves a lot of the fatigue and the doldrums of driving.

As a midsize luxury sedan, the Audi A6

has to accommodate adult passengers in the back seats,

and it does.

I'm 5' 10", and I have plenty of headroom,

plenty of room for my feet underneath the front seat,

which is actually set for a slightly taller passenger.

It's comfortable.

It's spacious.

I have the nice, padded center armrest here

with your typical overengineered cup holders.

Back here, I have two more controls for automatic climate

control for the outboard seats.

Since this is a highly optioned A6,

underneath there are two USB ports and a 12-volt power

outlet.

I have manual sun shades here that are really

easy to pop up and down.

Besides having the physical room,

it actually feels even more spacious,

thanks to the good outward view and this little cutout triangle

here, which breaks up that thick roof pillar.

Otherwise, it might feel just a little closed in.

All in all, this is a pretty nice place

to spend some time on a road trip.

I'd be fine back here.

Like a lot of the latest Audi products,

this A6 gets a complete tech treatment.

Right in front is the typical virtual cockpit

that we've seen on Audis going back a few years,

and it's great.

It's easy to use.

It's somewhat customizable, and it's

easy to read in almost any light.

Above that is a head up display that's crystal clear,

gives a lot of detail, all the necessary stuff.

New for the A6 is this split-level touchscreen,

which debuted in the Audi A8.

The difference here is it's canted slightly

towards the driver, making it somewhat easier to use,

but maybe a little harder for the passenger to use.

Unlike a lot of other infotainment systems,

these screens are mounted right in the middle in the dash

rather than on top.

I prefer having them on top because it's

right in the driver's sightlines,

and it's less distracting to use.

That said, it is pretty cool to use.

When you touch one of these buttons,

it responds with this lovely little haptic feedback

that mimics the physical buttons that are in the car.

There aren't a whole lot of physical buttons in this car

though.

They noted that they eliminated about 43 physical buttons.

In my opinion, though, they should've left a dozen or so

because I like having some tactile buttons that you can

use without even looking down.

I like the look.

I like the responsiveness of the system.

But what I don't like is how much of a distraction

it can be, just because it's not as

easy to use as the old MMI dial or the BMW

iDrive, or the Mercedes MBUX system, which I think

is the best in the industry at this point.

Otherwise throughout the cabin, we

have excellent materials used everywhere.

Everything just has that solid feel, and I love that.

One cool thing I really like too is this

isn't a mechanical door lever.

It's actually electronic.

So it's just this very slight effort,

and that's just one of those nice touches that

makes you feel like you're in something

a little more special.

As far as the interior goes, I like the aesthetics.

I just wish this was a little less distracting to use.

After logging a bunch of miles above beautiful Napa Valley

here in this 2019 Audi A6, I'm left with the impression

that, at least dynamically, there's

not a big difference between this and its predecessor.

And that's not such a bad thing.

It drives great.

The interior is impeccable, and there's

a good amount of performance, especially

considering that this is the A6, not an S6 or RS 6.

In the class of midsize luxury sedans,

it competes against the BMW 5 series and Mercedes Benz E

class.

The E class is just starting to show its age, primarily

because it doesn't feature the latest MBUX

infotainment system, which I think is one

of the best in the industry.

Against the BMW 5 series, it's a much closer call.

The BMW has a slight edge as far as response and performance,

and it also has a decent amount of technology as well.

Deciding between the two is probably

going to come down to just personal preference.

Whether you like the styling better or the interior,

or if you're a technophile or early adopter

and really want the latest, shiniest bits--

if that's the case, the A6 will probably

be the best fit for you.

1948 Ferrari 166 Inter Spyder Corsa Replica - Duration: 6:07.

Hey MotoeXotica fans!

Today we're going to talk about this incredible

one of a kind

1948 Ferrari 166 Corsa Spyder Replica.

They only made ten of these cars and they're made in the UK.

This was imported about a decade ago

and it was built in the early eighties.

It's got a complete tube chassis.

It's got four wheel disc brakes all around it.

And it's a pretty close, although not identical, replica

to the famous early '48 Ferrari Spyder Roadster.

It's got a fully rebuilt two and half liter

straight six powerplant

that came directly from a Triumph TR-6.

So, you got Ferrari styling on the outside

and you got some good British

tried-and-trued straight six powerplant.

The car has all kinds of panache to it.

The styling you just normally don't see.

It's got four speed manual transmission

with a D Type overdrive.

When you show up at the next club meeting

or that next car show

there wont be another one anywhere around.

A real Ferrari '48 like this-

somewhere in the two to three million dollar range.

So, what we're asking here is

a small portion of the original price.

Well, not really the original, just what they're going for today.

You don't see them. I've never seen another.

When it came available for sale

I said, 'We gotta get this"

because i've never seen one.

It's cool!

Now let me tell you a little bit about

the original '48 Ferrari.

It was a right hand drive vehicle.

It was raced extensively by the factory

in 1948 and sold to a privateer

at the close of the season.

That car recently sold in 2017

at the Retromobile Auction

for 3.1 million dollars.

This is one of the examples

of what this car looked like

in its original trim.

Open pontoon fendered car

much like many of the sports cars of the day.

So, Ferrari was made famous

this is the early days of Ferrari

it was all about the engine, the powerplant

It had tons of power

and the styling was second to none.

But it was very similar to other cars

that were competing of that era.

So, while Ferrari is Italian

and it's finished in its beautiful red Italian red

the car was built in the UK.

So, it's English.

So, the steering wheel isn't on the left hand side.

The steering wheel is right here

on the right hand side-

where else would it be?!

Inside this car it's very spartan.

It's got a nice aluminum turned dash

It's got Smith gauges- British.

It's pretty simple and straight forward

You got a fuel gauge, temp gauge, amp gauge

and tachometer and speedo.

What else do you need?

Complete with the Talbot bullet side view mirrors

It's got an exterior emergency brake.

Where do you find that?

And it's got a wooden LeMans-style steering wheel.

Brooklyn-style windshield

just enough to keep that wind right out of your face

or going up over your helmet.

It does have seat belts.

Doesn't have carpeting.

It's pretty straight forward- it does have overdrive as I mentioned.

It's a four speed transmission.

Your going to have to shift it with your left hand.

So,...

this is something that you're going to have to get used to

if you want to get into one of these old pontoon style fendered cars.

Were they made to be comfortable? No.

This is a true sports car.

And its true vein of true sports car.

I don't think there really are

many true sports cars even made today.

What most people think of a sports car today

is really more of a GT car-

or Grand Touring car.

Even got Porsches today that-

they got all the luxury comforts

right along with a new Ferrari

You can't even get a Ferrari or Porsche today with a stickshift.

They're all paddle shift.

So, if you want to go back to the good old days

when men were men

you had to clutch with your foot

shift with your hand

get it into gear

and do all those in synchronicity

this is the car for you.

So, when you're looking at the hood

you got a hood scoop in the front.

That's for your intake.

Then you got this nice steel vented louvers here.

That's to exhaust the heat from the motor.

What you got on the side here

is two side draft SU carbouretors

and they protrude out of the side of the car.

That's to get you as much air as you can.

The car is pretty simple.

Opens up thusly.

And it's all business under here.

You're probably looking at 180 horsepower

something like that- 200 on its best day.

But you're looking at a car that doesn't weigh

probably more than 1500 to 1600 pounds.

Is it going to smoke the tires?

Are you going to blast out and beat a current day Mustang?

No.

But when you pull up next to that Mustang

who do you think they're going to be looking at?

So, coming around to the backside of this little Ferrari replica.

It's still a pretty spartan car.

You got a quick release cap here for your gasoline.

And it does come with a trunk

complete with a spare.

The gas tank's inside.

It's got coiled over rear end on it, independent suspension

So, all in all it's a great little package.

Take it out on a Summer day.

Fall. Spring.

Not really a Winter car.

But it's certainly a car that'll get your attention

and those around you.

There's nothing like it. Everybody will be asking you what it is.

You can tell them a Ferrari if you want, but it's not.

But it's sure got the style and panache

of a Ferrari combine with that

good old British engineering.
