650HP Mercedes AMG GT S REVIEW PP Performance by AutoTopNL - Duration: 6:25.

one of AutoTopNL's favorites

the AMG GT

has been around for a couple of years

which means the owners

the buyers

have been driving it for a while

and those are usually people

who don't want to drive

the same car for too long

but they were very enthusiastic

about the AMG GT

everyone loves it

so Mercedes have introduced

the GT C and GT R

so people will choose this car again

they might have gotten used to the power

that 510 HP for the GT S

476 HP for the GT

and so they came with the GT C and GT R

and that GT R has 585 HP

so that'll have people thinking

"I really loved this car..

..and now with 75 HP more

and very cool traction control

developed on the Nurburgring

I'll take one of those!

I'll spend my money on that"

I think I can convince you otherwise

in the next 10 minutes

and It'll save you money too

PP Performance has a customer

who was very smart

and used his AMG GT S as base

to go a bit further

to make it a different car

and that man has been so friendly

to let me drive this car today

so I think he's a great guy

what do we have?

an AMG GT S

with 650 HP

bye, bye Mister GT R

look, Mercedes has developed this

4.0 V8 Engine

expecting this to be the engine

for a lot of AMG's in the future

and we see that now

in the E63 and the S63

both have this engine

which means this engine

was developed under the assumption

that more power would be extracted

and PP Performance

have changed some simple things

to get that power out of it

it has a different intake

and a different downpipe

a quick ECU remap later

and that's it

no major changes

like different turbos

no expensive hardware

but quite simple stuff

to awaken the beast

because this is really....

this is insanely fast!

and YES

you can also do this

with your C63

same engine, same power

but in this GT it's really great

I actually think that name

is a really weird choice by Mercedes

yes, it's aimed at people who want a GT

but it's more like a supercar

that gearbox for example

this car is technically

sort of a C63 supercar

but this gearbox is so incredible

and quick

and if you look at the normal automatic

in the C63 AMG

this double clutch Gertrag gearbox

is a gem

it does have a downside

you can't put too much torque on it

so it's limited to 750 Nm

and with a normal automatic

you could go for 900 or 950 Nm

that downpipe makes a big difference

it's from Fi Exhaust

we've driven cars with that before

PP Performance uses them often

and we're impressed by it every time

the sounds this thing produces

through that more open

free flowing downpipe

so I hope to have convinced you

I know a lot of our viewers

are about to buy an AMG GT R

and maybe that this video

of this PP Performance GT S

has convinced you

to continue for a couple of years

with your old crapbox GT S

Falcon BMS HUD Panel #30- Tutorial Cockpit Panels - English subtitles - Duration: 16:48.

hi and welcome again this is the escuadron111 in the section today discover in BMS 4.33

we continue with the right panel today is time to the HUD panel

there is a lot of switches here

almost all of them with the same type of switch

starting with the down part of switches

this first switch is about the speed scale represented on the HUD

you can see in the HUD on the left that now is showed a C from CAS,

this is for all f16 avionics with the digital one or this one

now moving to TAS, , while you are on the air, that C will change to T

and ground speed selected will be a G but in WOW you always get a Cas speed

the only difference is the heading scale on the HUD, I don't really understand that concept on the heading scal

if you see the heading scale is 05 heading, in tas you get a lecture of 18, and ground is also 05, the runway heading is 05

I can understand this concept sorry, please commend below if you know why in a easy understanding way

the next one, is about the altitude, in AUTO mode, the scale, will change between barometric altitude, or radio altimeter

over 1500 feet, will be barometric and under 1500 feet will be radio altimeter

that change must be when 1500 are detected by radar

in baro mode, this scale on the right side will be barometric always

in radirico, thas escal will be radar

Normally I set baro, because with that rectangle on the HUD you get also the radiric altitude

the next switch, easy one, is the HUD light mode

in auto mode, auto detect the best mode to use, in day mode, you can see now the HUD

have that good light, in auto keep the same, because it´s the best one, in night mode, the intensity of light is less

a non implemented switch is TEST, in on, the HUD will show a pattern, in off just do nothing

in the upper position, will show different patterns

lets go with the other line

this switch W/VAH is about the vertical speed, now it´s in the middle position

in OFF mode, the down posit, you see there is no scales now in the HUD

in the all mode, you see all the scales + the vertical speed scale on the left of the hud

you can clean a bit the hud with that switch

in AA mode the vertical speed scale vanish itself

the next one, is the flight path marker, in off, there is no FPM on the HUD

in the default posit, the middle, you can see the FPM, the roll scale is vanish and nos its over the FPM,

the next option is only visible when you are in the air, now with WOW there is no change

the next one, in the middle position show in the down part the info of the PFD , the fault list

but the roll scale is vanish also, if you notice Iset the FPM to OFF posit, because this other swith have this PFL posit, the data showed is this one, then most of this switch are dependent of avionics mode or other switch

I can force some damaged turning off and on the batteries and now you can see the info on the HUD

the brake just off due the batteries

in the last position you can see the DED info on the HUD

this last switch, the DEPT Reticule, now is off, in pri position, because we are in NAV mode we have no signals on the HUD

even WOW there is no visual marks in the HUD

depending in which position the switch are the HUD will show the manual reticule, in PRI will show the normal HUD plus that reticule and

in the STby mode, the HUD only will show the DEP Reticule

Let´s takeoff, let me configure

in nav mode with no track ir

now the scale, is in ground speed you can see how it get the heading that I have

see the altitude is in bar format

see there is less info that the usual in the HUD, that is the HUD configuration is not the usual one

the man reticule is not show.. I suppose you need a bomb o something

now I have all the usual info

only the FPM or all the info with the different scales

now I have when the gear is up, the G of ground speed in the speed caret

in tas is a T

and Cas with a C

at low altitude all the speed looks like the same

the altimeter, now is in auto, I will select baro

radar lecture and barometric lecture

in radar mode you only have radar lecture

now in inverted the radar can not measure the altitude, and it is the baro showed

let´s keep auto, you can see we are below 1500 feet

and now up 1500 we can see the baro scale

and we keep radiric altitude

the last one to see is the V/VAC, in off all is clean, in vac we have the usual view, in all, in AG you have no diference

but in nav mode you get the vertical speed bar

Um, some of the foods that I enjoy best, anything Asian cuisine or Mexican.

I would say I'm a steak and potatoes type of guy.

The looks or the texture potentially or the smell.

Uh, people make a lot of assumptions about that it's too spicy.

Visual impression is a factor when trying something new.

You're out the money if you don't like it, so there's a financial risk but also having

to spit something out, either in front of family or in front of strangers would be a

little embarrassing, but you know, not that bad.

Very fancy.

I think it's gonna satisfy like, a crunchy craving, but then you'll also get some fruit.

Knitting Help - Tight Circular Cast-Ons - Duration: 9:15.

In this video, I'm going to talk a little bit about tight cast-ons when you're working

in circular knitting when you're knitting in a tube.

And most specifically, I didn't want the title to be 20 words long.

Most specifically, I wanna talk about tight cast-ons when you're working on 16-inch circulars,

like when you're knitting a hat or, you know, kind of a small tube.

If you're knitting something like a sweater, an entire sweater, and you're knitting it

on 24 or 32-inch circulars, if your cast-on is tight for that and you can't get all the

stitches to fit around, then you can just use magic loop.

That's the easiest way to take care of it.

And I'll give you a link to my video called "Simple Magic Loop."

But on this video, this is addressing questions, very specific questions that I get all the

time about a tight cast-on when you're knitting a hat, especially a baby hat, or both of my

Christmas stocking patterns get this question.

Because in, let just say, my Christmas stocking patterns, I give you a cast-on number, right?

And you cast those on to your small 16-inch circular needles, and you have all the stitches

there and you need to join in the round so you can knit in a tube.

But if your cast-on is tight, then you can't fit those stitches around, you can't get them

close enough together to actually join in the round.

And, I'll just tell you, I'm careful with my patterns.

And if that was the case, like there wasn't gonna be enough stitches, I would make you

use 16-inch circular.

So, I'm glad people get in touch with me so I can explain that to them.

But before we actually get down to the nitty gritty of...I've broken this down, I have

so many samples here to show you.

Most people don't have all these different sets like I do.

You really just need one, if you're one knitter, you really just need one.

I just have them so I can show them in the video, but it is a chance for us to see a

whole bunch of their products all at once, and I'll talk a little bit about them as we

run into them.

But for now, let's go ahead and take a look.

First, we have a good cast-on, a good cast-on that's working on the stitches.

And these are the Knitter's Pride...these are all 16-inch circulars.

These are the Knitter's Pride dreams needles.

They're wood needles with a long taper and a sharp point.

They're great all-purpose needles.

I'll give you more information in the video description field under my website about each

one of these.

So, when the cast-on has good tension, the cast-on row's always going to be not tight,

it's just less flexible than subsequent rows, right?

So sometimes, it takes a little bit of work, well, especially if you drop things and stitch

makers go flying.

I'm going to put a stitch marker on the right needle to mark the beginning of my round,

and then...

I don't usually do any special tricks when I join the rounds, so I just start knitting.

You're gonna see it's a little slow going, it's requiring a little more muscle just because

the cast-on row is stiff, but that's a good cast on, okay?

You've to keep scutting things around, but everything fits.

Okay.

That's what we're after, that's ideal.

Okay.

Next, I have a cast-on, on these Knitter's Pride Platino needles.

These are their chrome needles with a really long taper and a sharper point.

It is a good needle set for fast knitters or people who want to improve their speed.

Very silk, but the needles are awesome but the cast-on is are terrible.

I did a really tight cast on, exact same number of stitches as what you just saw, but there

is no way I'm going to be able to get these stitches stretched around to join in the round,

even using all of my muscles.

Okay, that's just to show you this is what it's like when the cast-on is too tight.

And, if you're knitting your Christmas stocking, that might not be a problem if the cast-on

is too tight, but if you're knitting a hat, a tight cast-on might mean that that hat is

a brain squashier.

So, what is the solution?

You can try casting on looser, but I'm gonna go ahead and make the assumption that this

is your natural way to cast-on, okay?

So I tried an experiment by using the exact same number of stitches and going up one needle

size, and it wasn't enough.

I went up two needle sizes, and it worked.

And these are the Royal needles, the wood with the metal tip, the needles that make

such a nice sound when you knit with them.

And when I went up two needle sizes as a tight knitter, it was fine.

I suddenly had a cast-on that was loose enough to fit around the way it should.

I didn't add a maker there but you get the point here.

It actually worked.

Two sizes up, I think it was the magic number for really tight knitters.

And then, once you do a couple of rounds, everything will loosen up significantly.

The stitches will be much more flexible and you won't have a difficult time with anything

stretched like this.

So you can just take your right needle and take off that tip and get the needle size

you're supposed to have for the project, right?

And attach it just on the right side, keep the other stitches on the full-size needle

on the size you've been working on.

And then once you get all the way around with the smaller needle on the right side, you

can swap this one out.

Again, this is a great way to use your interchangeable needle set.

And boop, you're already, you're actually finished with the cast-on and on the correct

size needles.

Now, the last thing you can do, if you don't have an interchangeable needle set and you

can't get those stitches around, the last thing you can do is to start your knitting

on double pointed needles.

Because double pointed needles being three needles, it can let you knit in a much smaller

circumference.

So after you do the cast-on in a few rows, again, this is the exact number of stitches

that I had on the circular needles.

Once you get away from the cast-on a few rows, you can pick up your circular needles, I have

the Platinos here again, and just knit off of the double pointed needles onto your circular

needles.

I'm doing knit two purl two rib.

The needles are making a noise on the table.

I don't normally knit over a table when I'm knitting.

Not on video.

And then, as you knit off the double pointed needles on the circulars, you just set your

DPNS aside, and soon enough, all the stitches will be on the circular needle, you place

a marker and then just keep knitting in a tube.

And these are the Knitter's Pride bamboo double pointed needles.

This is a size seven.

This set, I think goes up to ten and a half.

These are the needles that I love to use for a larger gauge double pointed needle knitting.

And here is an example of a set of their needles.

This is the Royal full-size needle set in the beautiful case with Paris on the back.

Just that I threw that last bit in.

Okay, I hope that explains questions about tight cast-ons when you're working on 16-inch

circulars.

You know, a lot of times you think pain in the body so we must do something physical

to make it go away.

Well, again, when we talked about or we talked before about asking a question Who does it

belong to?

Okay, there's three questions you could ask or three sub questions you could ask after

Who Does It Belong To is that mine or someone else's or something else and what we've

learned in Access Consciousness is about 90% of the time if not more 95% of the time it's

never yours so then really only left with two things someone else's or something else

and then what we've also learned is that if it's something else 99% of the time is

the earth needing a contribution from us so it's not that the earth wants your back

pain, but if you look at pain as a potency, okay, we talked about when we stuff our creative

abilities, our talents, when we're constantly putting things behind us and waiting for things

before we step forward that's stored potential energy that you're locking into your body

so what if you gave that energy back to the earth and if as your'e giving it back to

the earth it begins to dissipate so that's so if you ask the question is it something

else and it feels really light in your world and that's usually the earth wanting a contribution

from you.

You can do a simple 1, 2, 3 a few times back to the earth and you may begin to feel the

pain dissipate from your lower back.

If it's someone else's and that feels really light when you like is if someone else's

and you're like oh, that's light, just you just return to sender with consciousness

attached, you don't even need to know whose it is you may find that you are like a sponge

pulling pain out of people's bodies, okay?

Because you know as a chiropractor I have seen people with perfect x-rays and they're

always in pain and I've seen people with the most degenerative spines ever and they're

never in pain so what does that tell you?

So are our pains directly as a result of a physical thing, the answer to that question

is no, they're not so who does this belong to, is it mine or someone else's or something

else?

Still Rings Basics: Master the False Grip With Antranik - Duration: 4:21.

Hey guys my name is Antranik and I'm going to teach you how to do the false grip on the rings

The false grip is necessary for doing a muscle up on the rings.

It's also very necessary when doing more difficult moves such as iron cross and so forth.

But first, let's talk about what IS the false grip.

This is a NORMAL grip right here.

Just like this, how you would normally wrap your fingers around it.

But the false grip is done such that the wrist goes over the rings.

Does this make sense?

One more time.

This way. (Normal grip)

This way. (false grip)

And I'm being really aggressive about it so it's really obvious.

To hang from this position, it's really difficult.

And you might need to do it with bent elbows to hold it.

The other thing you might need to hang on in this position is CHALK.

So chalk up your palms but also chalk up the PINKY SIDE of your wrist and palm.

So, one more time.

The pinky side of your wrist and palm.

That side.

The pinky side.

And what I like to do is I like to hang in this false grip for a moment.

And then, look where the chalk is coming off and re-chalk up.

That way, it's really solid.

Now, if its impossible for you to hold this position.

Then I would say do one hand NORMAL grip and one hand FALSE grip.

Okay?

So, like this.

One hand is normal (my fingers wrapped around).

But this one, I'm putting the PINKY SIDE of my wrist and palm aggressively over.

So I would be like this.

And maybe you could even do it with straight elbows.

Set a timer for 20-30seconds and just hold that position.

And then take a break and alternate.

So have a timer and force yourself to hold this position for 20-30secs with one arm normal

grip and one arm false grip so that eventually you could do BOTH with a false grip.

Okay?

This is a CRUCIAL, crucial grip.

It's also really painful and it's just really excruciating.

It's going to test your wrist flexibility, so work on your wrist mobility.

Do wrist stretches.

I have videos where you work on your wrists as well.

But it's going to build ACTIVE flexibility in this position.

It's crucial you learn this.

It WILL hurt but you WILL get over it, believe it or not.

I initially learned the false grip on METAL rings, so wooden rings feel like luxury, ok?

You could image I went through some pain and it was all normal.

The body adjusts.

You'll start to get calluses there.

Your bones will adapt.

And you'll have REALLY strong forearms.

That's another benefit (for opening jars up easily).

Vagus works with homeless people

we are doing numerous projects that help approximately 2,000 homeless people in Bratislava per year.

We are providing various services

from the most basics ones such as hygiene, clothing, or food...

because we are aware of the fact that if a person is hungry, thirsty

and if they have nowhere to wash themselves

it is difficult to think about changing your social situation.

The most important thing about our work is

providing social counseling and professional help to people

who are living on the streets

in order to motivate them to change their social situation.

DePaul and every organization working with homeless people

is absolutely crucial

because homeless people represent a certain exclamation mark to our society

to signal that something is not working well.

Organizations which work with them

are not only dealing with the basic needs homeless people have

that they have some place to sleep, eat, wash or dress,

but also these organizations are trying to make this society a little bit better,

because searching for solutions to homelessness

also means searching for solutions to improve our society in the future.

Theater With No Home is the only theater in Slovakia

where the actors and actresses are homeless,

but also people with severe physical disabilities,

with psychiatric diagnosis, former prisoners,

minorities,

and other interesting people who are able to work together,

create and perform a theater performance.

Homelessness by itself is a relationship crisis.

It can be a crisis within family, between parents and children or between husband and wife,

it can also be an internal crisis in which these people failed at some point

and unfortunately they did not have anyone who would help them in that moment

so that they would not end up on the streets.

The state, sadly, is not there for them either in this situation

and many people then fall through this network.

Our friends and colleagues who work in other organizations dealing with homelessness

focus primary on basic body functions such as sleeping, eating, ..

and we are dealing with things which are internal.

We are trying to complete this mosaic of help

by a different form of work with homeless people.

From our point of view Philip Morris supported a very important thing

and that is, our social counseling work of project Domec.

If you imagine being on the street

probably the most important thing you need is to have someone you can turn to

and ask him: "So, what can I do to improve my situation..

...where can I find a job, how can I arrange my personal documents..

...or how do I get the benefits I am eligible for...

how can I visit a doctor.." These are the issues we are trying to deal with in our social counseling.

So Philip Morris financial support went to a direct professional help to homeless people

in order to get them off the streets or at least to make their lives there more comfortable and better.

The Philip Morris Company via Pontis Foundation

supported the Shelter of Saint Lujza and a nursing home.

This is a special service aimed at the homeless people with serious health conditions.

The shelter of Saint Lujza provides them a whole spectrum of basic needs and a place where they can be cured.

There is a social worker as well and we are trying step by step to find some lasting solution for them.

This service helps 100 homeless people a year

and at least one third of them is placed into retirement homes,

to social or nursing homes

so that they are able to find some lasting place.

Philip Morris is the only private company today

supporting Theater With No Home. Not only by financial assistance

but also their employees came to participate in our work.

Our actors and actresses are still remembering Christmas session in Theater,

We not only showed our work but through discussions and Q&A

we got to know people from Philip Morris better.

And we liked it a lot and we very much appreciate that you came to see us.

We would be very happy to see you again in our Theater.
