Swimming breaststroke arms technique. Tutorial with 7 Drills - Duration: 3:04.

on this video we will go over some drills to improve your arms technique while you swim

breaststroke.

The main problem I see that swimmers have in breaststroke is that they open their arms

too wide.

Some of the best swimmers in the world have incredibly narrow stroke in breaststroke.

This makes their movements very efficient.

So if you have a wide stroke, the first step is to work on making it more narrower.

One exercise that I have seen worked is putting a pool worm under your armpits.

This will prevent you from bringing your arms too far back and will also give you float-ability.

If you don't have access to this toy you can try laying on the edge of the pool and

doing this exercise.

This will show you how far your arms should go.

Now to have a more efficient stroke you must perfect the glide movement.

To practice this you can swim breaststroke with an exaggerated glide.

Keeping the glide for about 2 or 3 seconds.

It might feel uncomfortable but you should focus on keep moving forward and keeping a

good body position.

The tighter your body is the easier it will be to glide.

When focusing on specific body parts, we like reducing complexity to make it easier to fix.

Try swimming breaststroke but only moving one arm.

Keep the other arm in front of you as still as you can.

The next exercise is a bit more difficult but it is similar.

This time keep one of your arms down by your body.

Focus on doing a fast narrow stroke with the other arm.

Sometimes what messes up our stroke is the timing.

To fix this we need more body coordination.

Try doing breaststroke with flutter kick.

Once you manage to do this, you will be able to focus on your stroke on a constant speed,

without slowing down for the kick.

The arms in breaststroke are like the point of an arrow.

They cut the water for the rest of your body, and for that you need to practice shooting

them forward with speed.

Try doing breaststroke arms with dolphin kick.

This will help both of your strokes, butterfly and breaststroke.

Remember to shoot with your arms forward and by timing it with a butterfly kick you will

create the aggressive momentum you need for the stroke.

Hello Everyone..

Welcome to Priya's Kitchen..

Today I am going to share one awesome and crispy snack recipe, that is Cabbage Pakoda.

It is very easy to make, it is very delicious. Let's start the process..

Heat some Oil for deep frying.. meanwhile, we will prepare our mixture for pakoda

In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of finely chopped Cabbage, I have taken 1 small sized cabbage

add 1 small Onion, it gives nice flavour

add some Salt

first mix these two, with the salt

just press a little bit and mix thoroughly

it releases some moisture

so now you can see it has released lot of moisture

now add sliced Green Chillies, I have taken 2 green chillies

finely chopped Coriander

finely chopped Mint Leaves, for nice flavor

finely chopped Curry Leaves

finely chopped Ginger, just a small piece

1 teaspoon of Ajwain, that is Carom Seeds

1 tablespoon of Rice Flour, it gives nice crispiness

1 teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder, I'm using Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder for nice colour

and finally some Chickpea Flour, around half cup.. It is Besan.

now mix all the ingredients nicely

don't add any water, the moisture in the cabbage and onions is enough

add 1 tablespoon of Hot Oil

mix it

so our pakoda mixture is ready, let's start frying them

now take some portion of the mixture,

and drop in to the oil, like pakodis

fry them on medium flame, the cabbage cooks very faster

wait for a minute and flip them & fry evenly on all sides

they are done, let's take them out

place them on a paper napkin plate

similarly fry all the batches of pakoda

So our awesome and crispy Cabbage Pakoda is ready..

Serve hot with some hot hot tea, it goes excellent.. for kids, you can give it with some tomato ketchup..

they're gonna love it..

Nintendo 64 Best Controller- Super Pad 64 - Duration: 2:42.

YobeBit here today I want to talk about my favorite Nintendo 64 controller,

the Super Pad 64. I loved the 64 and still own my

original console and controller from Christmas 1996. While not my favorite

controller design I was able to able to play games just fun. Later the next year

I came across something there improved my quality of life for that system

tremendously. While at my local electronics store a ray of light shined

down to this funky third-party controller. I picked it up and holy crap

I was in love. It felt so much more comfortable and natural in my hands.

Instantly it was my exclusive go-to controller. Now let's compare.

Nintendo tried something new with their first analog stick design but I think

the Super Pad 64 greatly improved upon that. While the A, B, and C buttons are

almost identical the game changer is the placement of the d-pad and analog stick.

Even the Z button has been moved to mold right into easy placement for my left

hand. To me it felt like this is how it should have been. Now there are two

models. The vanilla version and the Plus which adds slow motion and auto fire

which I could care less about but the mold is exactly the same. I used the

Super Pad for the next 16 years until it finally fell apart so I had to

buy a replacement and well, it didn't stop at one, or two, three,

five, no it finally ended with six. Yes I have hoarded hoarded these and

eventually will probably get a few more because I love them so much and want to

always be able to have a working one close by. So if you're ever bidding on

one on eBay and you get outbid I may have gotten a thirst for another. Thanks

English Winners: in this video, we'll discuss the 'hat in hands' idiom. Hat in my

hands... what does it mean? You're gonna find out. I asked for the project but

later found out I have no idea what I'm doing. I'll have to ask - hat in hands - to

have somebody else take over the project. I asked for the project, but now I know I

have no idea what I'm doing. I'll have to go back to my boss and ask

hat in my hands for someone else to take over the project. I can't believe I have

to ask my ex-girlfriend for a loan. It's like I'm asking hat in my hands. I can't

believe I have to ask my ex-girlfriend for a loan. It's like I'm going hat in

hands to her. Now hat in hands. What does that mean? Well, when people walked into

buildings, it was a polite thing to do - a show of respect - to take off your hat. And

so that tradition has carried on in speech. So when you ask for something hat in

hands, it means you are showing respect to the other person, but often it goes

much much further than that. You see, asking - hat in your hands - is to

show humility, and it's not always comfortable to show humility. Often, you

have to do it when you are embarrassed. So how do you use 'hat in my hands' in

everyday speech? Well, when you have to request something and you are

embarrassed about it, or you have to show humility, that is when you use 'hat in

your hands.' Let's look at some examples: "I know I quit last week, but I'm asking you

- hat in hands - to hire me back. I know I said I quit last week, but I'm asking you

- hat in hands - to hire me back. You can also ask a favor from a powerful person,

but doing so admits some weakness on your part. And you know what? That's okay.

It's reality. Sometimes there's things you're good at. Sometimes there's things you're

weak at. For instance: "Can you help pay the college fees for my son? I can't do

it on my own, so I'm asking you hat in hands." "Can you pay the college fees for

my son? I can't do it on my own, so I'm asking you... hat in hands." That is our

Swimming breaststroke arms technique. Tutorial with 7 Drills - Duration: 3:04.

on this video we will go over some drills to improve your arms technique while you swim

breaststroke.

The main problem I see that swimmers have in breaststroke is that they open their arms

too wide.

Some of the best swimmers in the world have incredibly narrow stroke in breaststroke.

This makes their movements very efficient.

So if you have a wide stroke, the first step is to work on making it more narrower.

One exercise that I have seen worked is putting a pool worm under your armpits.

This will prevent you from bringing your arms too far back and will also give you float-ability.

If you don't have access to this toy you can try laying on the edge of the pool and

doing this exercise.

This will show you how far your arms should go.

Now to have a more efficient stroke you must perfect the glide movement.

To practice this you can swim breaststroke with an exaggerated glide.

Keeping the glide for about 2 or 3 seconds.

It might feel uncomfortable but you should focus on keep moving forward and keeping a

good body position.

The tighter your body is the easier it will be to glide.

When focusing on specific body parts, we like reducing complexity to make it easier to fix.

Try swimming breaststroke but only moving one arm.

Keep the other arm in front of you as still as you can.

The next exercise is a bit more difficult but it is similar.

This time keep one of your arms down by your body.

Focus on doing a fast narrow stroke with the other arm.

Sometimes what messes up our stroke is the timing.

To fix this we need more body coordination.

Try doing breaststroke with flutter kick.

Once you manage to do this, you will be able to focus on your stroke on a constant speed,

without slowing down for the kick.

The arms in breaststroke are like the point of an arrow.

They cut the water for the rest of your body, and for that you need to practice shooting

them forward with speed.

Try doing breaststroke arms with dolphin kick.

This will help both of your strokes, butterfly and breaststroke.

Remember to shoot with your arms forward and by timing it with a butterfly kick you will

create the aggressive momentum you need for the stroke.

WHY ISN'T MY SALES PAGE WORKING? | EPISODE #020 - Duration: 5:47.

I spent loads of time writing a sales page for my website so why isn't it working?

A few weeks ago I published a video which is talking about the reason why I

don't like writing client proposals. I actually think they're just the not

particularly great way of starting a project. If you think about it,

the idea is that you might have a telephone conversation with a potential

client - maybe chatting to them 30 minutes 45 minutes and then just from

that conversational, I'm supposed to go away and write a very detailed

proposal which is explaining a project that I'm going to undertake which

is going to solve that clients problem. 9 times out of 10, the

clients come to me with a very vague brief of what they're looking to achieve.

I had a conversation with a guy recently, he gave me a call and he was

looking to create a video library for his software but he didn't have an

any idea on the number of videos he wanted, the titles of the videos, the

length, the format, different languages that he might want, the look

and the feel - it was all all stuff that needed to be scoped out. So

the video I just mentioned that I released a few weeks ago is all about

how I'm trying to use a service called roadmapping to help my clients scope

out their projects and what roadmapping is. It's a four or five hour

workshop, sometimes it takes less than that, sometimes it takes more. I've done

some of these roadmapping sessions onsite. Sometimes I'll do them on online.

It doesn't seem to have too much impact on the format, it seems to me that

clients really enjoy doing these types of sessions and have got a lot of value

out of doing them with me and I've actually had some really nice

testimonials that I've put on my website that talked about the value that the

clients have received from these roadmapping sessions. But anyway I'm going

on a bit of a tangent there - the thing that I wanted to talk about today is

that about two years ago I started doing I started selling roadmapping.

Essentially just on the telephone. So I might be talking to a

client or a potential client, they may have a vague brief which isn't

specific enough for me to write a proposal for. So rather than saying "yeah okay,

I'll go away and spend hours and hours researching this project and

come back to you with a more specific brief", we're going to need to

spend some time together. We're going to need to

sit in a room, no distractions. I can focus on you we can talk about the

project and the reasons behind why you need this series of videos and we can

really dig into that project and come up with a much more specific strategy

that's going to address the challenges that you're facing. But as I

said, I started selling this on the phone just as a "this would be

a good next step for you" type of situation. The potential clients that

I was talking to at the time were very receptive to the idea and I think

from this moment I've done about 10 to 12 roadmapping sessions and

I feel like they've been really good. So roadmapping is definitely the way that

I wanted to go and about six months ago I put a sales page up on my website

because what I felt is that the roadmapping sessions that I was selling

I was only selling them verbally on the phone.

It felt like I needed something a bit more solid to point people to if

they wanted a bit more information about roadmapping. And so I came up with the

idea of putting a sales page on my website which would go through the

benefits of roadmapping. It would have the the details of pricing, how they can

apply for a roadmapping session, how long it would take, where it

would be held - all the different details they might need to know about

roadmapping and put it into a single location on my website. So it was a very

specific, standalone product or service. Ever since I put that webpage up,

I haven't delivered any roadmapping sessions! I could understand if people

would come into that web page and not apply - then maybe the copy is not

correct or maybe that they weren't that interested in the first place. But the

problem I have with this is that I've been directing people that I've been

talking to, to that web page after our conversation - and it's those guys that

haven't been following up and applying for a roadmapping session and I think

the issue is that I've probably already done the selling on the phone and

they're probably ready to go ahead with roadmapping but by guiding them to a

sales page there's maybe too much text there or something in there that's kind

of turning them away from doing it and they're getting confused and they're not

making a decision to proceed with it and so what I think I need to stop doing is

when I'm on the phone with potential clients, is stop pointing them to that

sales page when I've already made the sale on the telephone and say

"right, you know let's get you booked in if you need to go away and think about

it fine but I'm going to follow up in a few days.

We'll book you in for roadmapping". I don't think I need to direct them to

that sales page so it's something I've been thinking about and it's something

that's been troubling me because roadmapping has been probably one of the

best ways for me to generate business because it's a great way for the client

to work with me on a short engagement. It gives them an

opportunity to test what I'm made of. It gives them an opportunity to build up

some trust with me and to realize that "actually, this guy does

know what he's talking about and we got a lot of value out of that roadmapping

session. If we actually do the main project with him as well chances are

we're gonna get a lot more value!" So it's an issue that I'm having to deal with.

I'm going to really try and focus on the next time I have a sales call if I

try and sell sell roadmapping - I'm going to make a concerted effort not to point

them to that sales page and just to see if that has any difference or any impact

on whether they proceed. If you have any comments about
