Save Time with Recent Files View in Android Studio - Duration: 2:07.

Hey, what is up everyone, Norman from futurestud.io University here.

Welcome to another video in our Android Studio note series.

In just a few minutes you'll learn a little trick to increase your productivity every

single day.

Now I personally prefer to have my tabs up here fairly clean.

I try to limit it to the classes I'm actually working on right now.

But when you're looking for bugs or you're developing a complex new feature, this can

get pretty annoying when there are 20 tabs open and you're looking for the right class.

The navigation gets difficult.

What I'd recommend is the "recent files" dialog.

This is command+E, or ctrl+E for Windows users.

This will show you all the files you've just opened.

Up here, I've only two open, but I can quickly navigate to something I had open recently.

What I like even better is the "recently edited files".

So if I open ten files, but actually only make changes in two files, I could use the

command+shift+E, or ctrl+shift+E to show all the files that I've actually edited.

This will just show me three files.

Another cool feature is that you can search in this dialog.

If i hit command+E and I'm like "I was working on an XML file", I can just start typing "XML"

and it'll filter all of these files and in this case I've only one [file] left.

Hit enter, and I'm automatically in this file.

This makes the navigation very efficient.

You don't even have to touch your mouse and look for the right tab.

It's just one or two keystrokes on your keyboard and you get there.

I recommend to use this all the time, because it's really, really helpful.

That's it.

Thank you for watching and if you've learned something, give this video a thumbs up.

Make it rock.

Building a Pepero (Pocky) Tower! - BOOWHOWOO : Sweets & Snacks - Duration: 11:45.

Hello everyone, I'm BOOWHOWOO.

It is Pepero & Pocky (Mikado) day!

So today,

I want to play fun with Pocky (Pepero)

What do I do?

I am going to build a tower

with these chocolate sticks

with my family together

We are going to build a star tower

(Sister) What if Pocky is broken?

(Mom) We cannot use as a piece

Then we can eat!

It is difficult to place them exactly

Carefully carefully ...

We should put them very carefully

Wow

May I eat?

(Mom) Sure

(Mom) The shape is getting strange

(Mama) We have to stay up all night don't we?

(Mom) to build a tower in a day...

carefully...

Okay, I can do it!

(Again)

(Sister) You are really clumsy

Who do you think I am? I am an expert of Pocky Tower!

I can do it! Go Go!

Oh I did it pretty well

(Sister) huh <sigh>

(Sister) huh <sigh>

I am doing well, am I?

pretty good

I can do it, here we go!

From the beginning again...

It takes long time to build...

Because we have to very carefully for each stick

(Mom) Yeah. It is more difficult than I thought

Wow

(Mom) I am tired! I want to eat! <mimicrymiming BOOWHOWOO>

No, Mam! Do not say that!

did it

We are doing well so far

Carefully!

Why do you say "It's over" every my turn?

(Sister) huh

(Sister) Ah ...

not yet!

not yet!

We have to try another form

because this one is very difficult

collapse!

With this form

20 steps, Wow!

It is 20 steps up to here

We have done a lot, haven't we?

(Sister) Mom, may I have just one?

(Mom) No.

Ooooops!

I can see you from the gap

(Sister) Can you look at me?

Yup

Munching

(Sister) Don't eat yet

Can I have just one?

How about breaking some of this on purpose

then "Oh! This is broken"

"Mom! This is what I have to eat."

(Mom) Oh, there is broken one

(Sister) It's mine! (BOOWHOWOO) Oh! It's mine

(Mom) If broken sticks are included, it will be short of making a tower.

(Sister) They should be included!

Yeah you are right, so that we can live

It has been getting wobbly

(Sister) Perfect!

38!

(Mom) I have broken it...

(Sister) Give it to me, too!

Defective, defective one

(Sister) Photo time?

(Mom) Yeah, Photo time

Put them away, please

(Mom) OK! to make the tower look good

(Click☆)

50!

(Sister) oh dear...

Then I have to build it by standing

Broken one?

(Sister) Where is mine?

(Mom) Hey, please concentrate

(Sister) It rolls down even if I try to put it several times.

I have a good idea to make the sticks broken

If I take this box away...

(Mama) No ~! I have to get outside to buy pocky again

70!

When dad has done this turn

It will be 70 steps

If dad has done...

YES!

half half

I'm waiting for the next one to be broken

Dad...

This is hilarious

like this

(Sister) He tried to stop dropping one and then all collapsed

(Mom) How many steps have we made?

I don't remember

(Mama) 70 ...

Just a moment

76, 77, 78 ...

80 steps!

It was to go up to 80 stages just after a single step

And dad failed!

It has collapsed! !

I will give up here

Then I will have yummy time :)

Thank you for watching today

Happy Pocky Day ♡

May I eat?

(Mom) Go ahead

(Mom) It could have been 100 steps at least...

Blame dad

(Mom) Year, I have to

Tolle Impressionen der Community-Reise nach Paraguay | Iguazu-Wasserfälle - Duration: 3:27.

This is Thorsten Wittmann and I welcome you today from our community trip through Paraguay.

It's a very special edition of our Friday episode Fascination Freedom.

I was overwhelmed, we are here in South America, we made a short detour

here to Brazil to see the world famous Iguazu Waterfalls which you can see at the end

of the video.

Lots of great impressions of our Paraguay trip.

We had a lot participants, a lot of demand. I have to say I was really surprised.

This was so much fun.

We will organize another community trip and you can inform yourself below

the video, click on the link and I present everything we offer in our

30 minutes community seminar.

Because we will have a look at 3 great investments.

Paraguay is a very impressive cultural country.

And I show you 3 investments that I am using myself too.

Then, you have the possibility to apply for a permanent residence permit.

Paraguay is a quiet, stable country. There is not much going on. It is always nice and warm and

there are great people living here.

You have to have a look and here it is the easiest way to

get a permanent residence permit.

You get to know great people of our community, really wonderful people,

it was a lot of fun.

You learn a lot about the country, the people and the culture within a short time and have

the opportunity to take this trip as a holiday.

So if you're interested click below the video.

I see you in the community seminar.

I present you everything we have planned and you check if it's something

you're interested in.

Now, you can have a look at some great impressions here from the community trip and the Iguazu Waterfalls.

I see you soon!

Yours Thorsten Wittmann.

Great trip!

I can recommend it to everyone and if you have then been here, then you have a

personal impression how you can invest here and who

are the people that are in charge.

This is always important as everything always depends on the people.

We visited a place where you can invest in quality timber and you

really got a lot of information, also about the country and its people, about the

society, things I guess that are usually difficult to find out.

We really had a great time here.

Lost in translation | Why translations of the Bible aren't always correct - Duration: 6:04.

Hello everyone!

Several months ago I made three videos

Where I was talking about the six places in the scripture

That supposedly mention homosexuality.

If you haven't watched the videos yet, I'll leave the links in the description for you.

It was interesting that just as I expected,

many Christians reacted to these videos very negatively

and said that I've gone too far and that I'm changing the bible

and that I'm a heretic.

I received a mountain of messages and I still

get messages and comments that say that I

understand the bible all wrong and who am I to change it

As someone who's been speaking two languages for the last seven years

I can tell you that translating any text whether it's religious or not

is a very challenging process..

Any translator will agree with me that what makes translation so difficult is that

not only one has to be fluent in each language that they translate to and

the language you translate from,

but at the same time you have to know very well the social,

political and cultural aspects that the native speakers were or are going through.

That is why translation of the bible is such a challenge for translators,

since it was written over 2000 years ago.

In addition, it was written in many different languages.

Imagine, you have to translate a book that was written over 2000 years ago

to another language that we speak right now.

Of course, I understand, that many who comment under my videos,

and especially Christians speak so many languages..

But I just wanted to show you what kind of issues a translator can run into even now.

After moving to North America I started reading the bible

In both Russian and English.

I always liked that I could read it in two languages and know something more

Because sometimes some English words can mean something deeper,

or Russian words can carry a deeper meaning.

The first verse that I'd like to look at is in Philippians 3:2 (Russian translation)

"Watch out of those dogs, those evildoers, watch out for circumcision."

I hope that I don't have to explain what circumcision is, but the thing is that

earlier Paul said that circumcision is basically mandatory.

But that's now the goal of my video. Now I'd like to read the same verse in English from two different translations.

So here is the first translation:

In this translation there is a very interesting word that I noticed right away

"Mutilator", so someone who mutilates something.

So in a way it sounds like you need to watch out for those who mutilate skin.

Here's the second translation:

So it says that those who say that you need to be circumcised to be saved

Those are to watch out for.

This translation makes so much more sense than the one I read before

or the one in Russian..

And this translation is one of the newest translations of the bible.

And the second place I'd like to look at today is in 1st Timothy 1:9 (Russian translation)

"the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless

and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners,

for unholy and profane, for those who upset their father and mother"

So the last few words are important here.

Because when I started translating the subtitles for my English-speaking viewers

I noticed, that the translations are quite different.

I know it's a different language, but the meaning is very different.

In English it sounds like this –

So are Russian-speaking kids so much tougher

that all they need to do is to upset their parents to be hated by God

while English-speaking kids would have to kill their parents to be hated by God?

Disobedience and murder are two different things,

But for some reason here it sounds like in English it's the one who kills their parents

And in Russian it's the one who upsets or disobeys.

A good example of such interesting translation is the psalm that

Starts with the words "The Lord is my shepherd.."

In both English and Russian it sounds as if the Lord is someone who takes care of us

Loves us, and he's gently, kind and loving.

But when David was writing this Psalm that's not what he meant at all.

He didn't mean all the "kind, gentle and pick you up and carry you" stuff

Back then if you were a shepherd, it meant that you were strong and probably scary

Because you had to fight lions and bears.

Many historians and theologians agree that the word "Shepherd"

didn't used to mean what we associate it with now.

In conclusion I'd like to say that our politics, culture and social aspects

strongly affect the language we use

So many texts absolutely need revision

there is nothing terrible or sinful in it

Our language changes constantly so why wouldn't the bible change as well?

Christians, Muslims, and believers of other faiths change the scriptures

to fit their rules every year

If you have noticed any bible verses that contradict something

or are translated differently into another language, please share them in the comments!

Thank you so much for watching, I'll see you in my next video. Bye!

these guys over here are Belden something sees a big crane here lifting

big power wait are they moving them so you guys don't remember I mean a vlog

art piece and I think these guys see there's some more colors over here think

these guys are left in them and moving them some work

I might say Bella Italia right now well used to be Valley Italia is it still

gonna be called Bella Italia oh you have a different name different

name and everything so Mohammad here he's working in partnership with this

guy what's his name is it this place is gonna be really cool ears tell me all

those plans is the first time you used to be like a take away kind of sittin

can't a restaurant a place I'm really excited for his plans in here but

apparently it's something that hasn't happened before and dairy the first time

ever and it's gonna be very traditional whatever that means and really he's not

telling me what is actually his full planners so he said it's gonna be ready

sometime maybe the 1st of December somewhere around that table

well how about I'm away I'm stealing thank you love the good work

I'm just really excited to see what that guy's gonna make I've no idea I really

wanted to know I was looking to tell me you can tell the secret he's like no

it's a surprise to the first of December I really want to know the sun's bright

I'm gonna head out a healing arts haven't said hello to Marina and a white

don't even know which way to go am I gonna get lost in some maze no I'm fine

it's amazing get it a maid I did spend so long in healing arts has helped

Marino deal with customers as she was doing treatments and stuff like that

really enjoy that today I'm gonna head home because my fingers are getting cold

and I starting to get really cold here tonight just to want to turn into an ice

cube

what's up guys just back from tyne and it is it's warm that it was cold outside

once you start walking fast the heat pack something when you get inside you

boil today being there today in healing arts and the coffee shop the guild cafe

I seen each person work and they're having this passion this thrivin for

what they're doing you go into the cafe in the coffee shop the garret is

automatically happy hello good to see you enjoy your coffee you just know that

they're enjoying what they do you're going to heal an art you know we're

weena is really enjoying what you don't see in all these people today really

passionate about what they do what they work for it made me wonder why you do we

work of course my initial reaction to that question whenever I asked myself

that was it's for money course everyone does work to get money but it's not

always the drive for work money can be sometimes a good motivator bought it for

me money is not the motivator so why did I work what makes me still want to work

that's the question I was asking myself today of course there is some people who

don't like work but they feel that time with something else maybe something they

like anything at all but the main question is why do we want to work why

is it people like entrepreneurs who want to go out there instead of having the

alarm clock as soon as they wake up in the morning to go art and work that is

the question I was asking for today so I'm here online doing a little bit of

research because personally I don't know how to answer this questions I've turned

to Google and various websites you see whenever you ask someone who thoroughly

enjoys the work that they do idea of money doesn't even cross their mind they

say because I enjoy it because it gives me something to do it gets me out of bed

every morning it gives me a purpose that is the most of the answers that you'll

probably get from someone who's successful not even successful but

someone who loves what they do is who finds fulfillment and what they do but

out of all the research that I have just done on why we work the main answer is

as humans we have this psychological phenomenon and psychological inherent

reaction to work to do something otherwise your brain will just go

cabbage mode you need some sort of fulfillment whether it be a hobby or

work or you can combine that hobby into work which is like maximum fulfillment

and work if you find a work and a job you love you will find complete

fulfillment and satisfaction and what you do whether money is a big thing or a

small thing that's what I was able to conclude today we learn something guys

we learn away we work but all that around this way

he's got enough depth to speak Adam you guys enjoy please smash our like bond

Subscribe for more videos!

Make it rock.

You Can't Tell Your Story Without These Words - Duration: 4:53.

I'm Barry Chandler co-founder and principal at Storyforge helping you

build a business that matters let's talk about the most important

words that go into your purpose statement

a couple of years ago we

worked with a company that was going from local a local stage to a national

stage they were growing like a weed and in order to and meet the need of their

their customer base that was now stretched far across the country in

order to connect with them in order to build deeper relationships they knew

they needed a story that wasn't just a local story and so when we sat down we

met with the owners of this company they told us the remarkable journey they'd

been on to grow their business from the simple little idea in their heads

then suddenly building this amazing business in their backyard and pulling a

lot of people and really making a lot of people happy with their product so

we learned that they had tried twice before they met us to tell a meaningful

story and have a connect with their customers regionally and nationally they

told us about the first exercise they undertook which really was the founders

sitting around the table talking about the product that they sold what they

liked about it what they thought was great about it what was unique about it

and coming up with words and sentences that they thought best matched that

product and they could really wrap a good story around so they

did that gave it to marketing department the marketing department put it out

through the channels social media print radio TV and guess what it fell flat it

didn't connect with their customers they didn't see an uptake in sales and they

knew it wasn't just the channels they were using because they've been successful

locally with similar channels but they wonder why wasn't this working so they

went back to the table again and decided you know what we're not going to make

the same mistake again this time let's bring in a marketing expert let's bring

in a PR expert and so they did so now they had five or six people around the

table inside the boardroom of this office of this company and they again

talked about the product but this time they told let's get the opinions and the

observations of our marketing expert in our public relations expert here and so

they talked for hours about what the product did what what they thought it

was best at why they thought people bought it and between the five or six

of them in the room they crafted another story and then they all were

happy about it they toasted to it they had a drink and they gave that story to

the marketing department marketing department put her through the

channels spent a lot of money amplifying the story and guess what happened

nothing it fell flat as the first story so by the time we spoke to them and we

understood this the journey they'd been on they were jaded they were story weary

they were concerned about investing more money having already wasted in their

mind a lot of money on two stories that just fell flat in their face so as we on

as we started to discuss the approach they had previously it quickly became

apparent that they had left out the most important words in order to tell the

story you see these founders had with the best

of intentions sat around the table and talked about their product and what they

thought it did best but what they've forgotten to do was an omitted to do and

overlooked doing was going outside the four walls of that office going outside

the company and talking to their customers talking to their stakeholders

their community partners and even inside the four walls talking to their

employees you see we can't tell a story about why somebody should engage with us

why somebody should remember us why somebody should buy from us if we don't

know everything possible about those very people why should somebody work for

us why should somebody buy from us well we need to know what they stand for we

need to know what they believe we need to know what keeps them up at night we

need to know what are the things that they're struggling with on a daily basis

if we don't know enough or any of these things about our customers about our

stakeholders there's no way we can tell a meaningful story so it turns out that

after we approached all of these stakeholders and have interviews and

surveys and listened to them they told us something very different about the

organization because what they told us they valued most and what they told us

they connected with beyond anything else was not the product was not what they

sold while the product was amazing they said there's many more products like it

what we're connected with is the story of the founders why they set up this

business the reason they left high-paying jobs to set up this business

resonated more than everything so we flipped the story instead of talking

about the products we talked about the founders we talked about their story we

talked about their the origin story the idea they had and talked about the

journey they went out they went down over the previous five years to grow

this business and it turns out that that's what connected with everybody and

so when we took this story from local to regional to national it resonated

because everybody can connect with a founder story with an origin story why

somebody made a change in their life to start a business everybody can connect

with that what they can't connect with are product attributes product features

rationale words that describe the product so as you're crafting your

purpose statement as you're crafting your story remember the most important

words and your purpose are not yours they're everybody else's

HyunA burst into tears on KBS's The Unit when JOO auditioned on the show. - AMAZING NEWS - Duration: 2:11.

HyunA burst into tears on KBSs The Unit when JOO auditioned on the show. JOO is a ballad singer and one of Hyunas closest childhood friend since their trainee days in JYP.

"When I first started training, I wanted to become an idol. I was preparing to debut as one, but I ended up debuting as a ballad singer.

I always had the thought of being an idol in the back of my mind. I was first hesitant on coming on the show because I thought the general public would be a little reluctant to see me as an idol.

A lot of people are probably wondering, 'Why is a ballad singer here?'. But I feel like if I don't try now, there won't be any other chance.

She had trained to debut as a member of Wonder Girls, alongside Hyuna. "Hyuna and I were trained together for Wonder Girls. I would see Wonder Girls and sometimes think, 'How would it have been if I was there?".

Hyuna burst into tears as she recalled back on their training days, and how much time has changed since then. "JOO and I used to talk about our dreams together since we were in elementary school.

We would ride the subway to JYP together every day. JOO performed a beautiful rendition of Min Hye Kyungs Miss your face and moved on to the next round by receiving the all six votes from the judges.

"I thought it was a good stage for you and everyone else who need a second chance. I saw how happy you looked as soon as the music started.

San E also praised her courage, expressing his own issues with staying motivated. "I have been very cowardly and timid on many things lately. When I saw your bravery on the stage today, it really inspired me. Thank you for that.

Fans also praised her for her courage and celebrated Hyuna and JOOs reunion.   Joo looks extremely happy. I love joo and hyunA. Viewers cant wait to see how JOO and Hyunas friendship will shine throughout the show.
