Hey everyone, this is Miz Moffatt from Across the Litoverse,
and today we're taking a look at some incredible
manga releases coming out in November!
Fellow otaku, I can feel our wallets crying already.
Do stay tuned.
This November is an unreal month for graphica releases,
let me tell you.
I profiled a few comics releases
earlier this week, and trust me,
the manga publishers are breaking out their big guns as well.
Don't say I didn't warn your bank accounts, now.
Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Vol 1
Whaaaat, my inner otaku can't handle this news!
It's been seventeen years
since the original Cardcaptor series ended,
and Clear Card picks up right where we left off.
Sakura and Syaoran are starting junior high,
and Sakura thinks school life will be quiet,
until all her Clow cards suddenly go blank.
Seriously, anyone got the countdown started?
Tokyo Ghoul Illustrations zakki HC
So, I might be lame,
and I might find Tokyo Ghoul too scary for my tastes,
but I do appreciate the artwork of this series,
particularly the covers.
This collection features artwork,
behind-the-scenes notes, commentaries,
and ruminations from Sui Ishida,
the creator of Tokyo Ghoul.
Not to mention, this book is full colour, ooh aah.
If you're looking for the perfect gift
for the manga lover in your life,
you'll need this one up on November 22.
Wolf and Parchment Vol 1
Spice and Wolf fans, the tale's not over yet—
Wolf and Parchment is the follow-up tale
to the best-selling novel series,
and this time, parchment meets wolf!
This new light novel hit shelves on November 8!
PandoraBox: Limited Edition Pandora Hearts Box Set
This is the single sweetest box set I have seen in ages.
Pandora Hearts has been collected into 12 trade paperback omnibuses,
and it comes in what can only be described as a treasure chest.
The retail cost in $230,
but it totally looks worth it.
This one arrived on November 8.
Arakawa Under the Bridge Vol 1
I cannot believe the manga is coming out,
this is entirely delightful news.
Ichinomiya Kou finds himself in debt
to a homeless girl named Nino
after she returns his stolen pants.
To pay her back, Kou promises to become her boyfriend
and live with her under the bridge with a colourful cast of characters that include:
a 620-year-old kappa,
a man with a star for a head,
a nun,
a samurai who owns a barbershop, and more.
I loved the anime,
so, I can only imagine what the manga holds in store.
This one comes out on November 22.
Forbidden Scrollery Vol 1
A young girl has the power
to translate any tome she sets in her lap,
so naturally, she spends all her time at the library.
But what happens when some of those books
prove more dangerous than anticipated?
If there's magic in the library,
you know I'll be first in line for that,
This one came out on November 1.
As for merch, anime fans
are getting positively spoiled
right before the holiday season.
First off, we have Your Name Nendoroids!
So, Paul managed to get his hands
on the Japanese release for Your Name,
and, by the time this video goes live,
I will have my hands
on the North American limited edition release as well.
And now, as if my fangirling couldn't get more intense,
we now have Nendoroids of Mitsuha and Taki.
Ugh, they're just so cute and I need them in my life, you guys.
Last, we have ANIME POPS GALORE!
I cannot believe we're on the cusp
of getting these POPs in stores.
We'll make loads of fangirls and fanboys happy
this season with Yuri On Ice Pops.
You can get Yuri, Victor, and Yurio
in their full skating regalia, and Funko is teasing
that these are only the first wave of Yuri on Ice Pops.
We actually got our POPS a few weeks early…
And Sailor Moon fans
can keep building their dream team
with the second wave of Sailor Moon Pops,
including Chibi Moon
and all of the outer Scouts!
These ladies rarely get gear in North America,
so this is definitely exciting news.
Phew, that was a long list right there.
I can only imagine what December
has in store for us otaku.
If you like this video,
make sure to give it a thumbs up
to support this channel.
As always, thank you for watching,
and make sure to subscribe
for more videos from Across the Litoverse.
On that note, signing off.
Umm…
Oh NOOO! Hiccups??
Oh, geeze…
…today we're taking a look at some in—
Why do I have the hiccups?
