Youtube daily report Dec 23 2017

Fed-Up Queen Responds To Meghan Markle After Trump-Hating Actress Cries Royal 'Racism.

Queen Elizabeth II is already tired of her grandson's fiance, Meghan Markle, and she's

drawn a line in the sand over the Trump-hating actress' shenanigans at the recent official

royal Christmas luncheon.

Markle supporters are demanding a public apology from the British monarch, alleging the African-American

actress was targeted with outright racism.

You'll be shocked at the Queen's reply.

You don't want to miss this.

The Hollywood celebrity gossip outlet, Page Six, has decided Queen Elizabeth's cousin,

Princess Michael of Kent, intentionally wore a "horrendously racist brooch" to meet

Prince Harry's finance, Meghan Markle.

There is no doubt this story was leaked by Markle's "people," thus she approved

it.

How do we know?

Well, the royal Christmas luncheon had no press in attendance, and the one photo of

this "racist" pin was captured by paparazzi who never take a picture of this royal, Princess

Michael.

Paparazzi bombarded the cousin of the Queen as she was leaving the luncheon.

You've probably never heard of her, and she is an older lady married to a cousin of

the Queen, Prince Michael of Kent.

"Princess Michael of Kent sparked fury after wearing a 'racist' blackamoor brooch to

the Queen's annual Christmas lunch.

Princess Michael proudly sported the brooch on her coat as she was driven into Buckingham

Palace on Wednesday.

Blackamoor is a style of artwork dating from the 18th century that is usually found in

sculpture, jewelry, and textiles in which black men and women are often depicted as

slaves," reported Page Six.

The report goes on, "Outraged social media users slammed the royal for her choice in

jewelry.

One post said, 'I hope the Queen is going to ban this racist, horrible woman from any

further gatherings.

This woman is an embarrassment to the Royal Family.'"

Well, no that's not going to happen.

There will be no banning or apologies from the Queen.

Blackamoor is not a racist image, and the Queen is well aware of this fact.

If you look it up in the dictionary, it's actually an art form of pride for African-Americans:

"A black African or a very dark-skinned person.

Origin: Early 16th century: from black + Moor."

Nothing to do with slaves.

Yet, in this day and age of everything is racist, of course, these idiots would think

Princess Michael decided to wear an offensive racist brooch.

Sadly, the heat got too hot for Princess Michael after every liberal idiot in the mainstream

media is calling her a racist.

She ended up issuing a statement, saying, she's "very sorry and distressed" for

wearing the brooch, adding it was a gift she's worn many times before without controversy,

according to the Daily Mail.

Blackamoor artform has been used by Dolce & Gabbana in jewelry and presented by the

leftist New York University.

How else would a statue look depicting a beautiful Black person from the 16th century?

They became popular for their beauty, and people tend to wear attractive things, not

ugly racist images.

If you know anything about royal etiquette, the official apology should have come from

the monarch, but the Queen wasn't buying this whole charade.

The Queen is no dolt, she was great friends with Winston Churchill as a very young queen,

and she credits her conservative political values as coming from the former British prime

minister.

So, nice try by the Trump-hating crowd surrounding Meghan Markle; the Queen is as astute as President

Donald Trump, and these liberal losers are outclassed, outsmarted, and out of their league

with this queen.

What do you think about this?

5 QUICK TIPS TO AVOID RSI 馃枑⚠ - Duration: 4:51.

hello if you're not interested in me or my channel you can skip to one minute

and 32 seconds it should be around there

how's it going bros

welcome to a new let's play

this one is called...

(not wuppo)

Today we are doing something very different we're saving

fingers

so a while ago I damaged my fingers when doing the boss run

update for a wuppo and they're actually still recovering at the time I

went to a hand therapist and she told me some things I could do to prevent this

in the future so today I'm gonna be telling you those tips for free

is that a good deal or what

yeah I was gonna call this video how to type without dying but then I remembered

what Clark said to me so...

create videos people are searching for

l2p noob

chair height

your knees should have about a 90 degree angle

desk height and arm rests

it's good to have arm wrists try to align

them with the height of your desk

screen height

the top of your screen should be about the

same height as your eyes

how to sit for optimal weight distribution

one of my biggest issues was that I was always

sitting like an idiot I was always transferring body weight to my fingers

the hand doctor told me that your... tendons always trying to lean on

something and the easiest way to do this right is just put your feet on the

ground and sit as if you were a normal person

avoid unnecessary tension

try not to have any unnecessary tension on your fingers so when you're using

your right hand to push a key, there's no need to keep tension on your left

hand or any of the fingers that you're not using just try to let your fingers

chill as much as they can

it can be pretty hard to recognize whether you're

doing it right but you can sort of practice the feeling by just holding

your shoulders up and then dropping them and try to get that feeling in your

fingers

bonus tips; take breaks

and of course take as many breaks as you can

buy hardware if you really want to

if you type a lot and

you can't really take any breaks, it might be worth looking into a mechanical

keyboard or an ergonomic keyboard

I haven't done proper research for that in

this video so I'm just gonna leave you with the terms but the basic idea is

that if your wrists are hurting you should maybe look into an ergonomical keyboard

because those keyboards are shaped towards your hands

if you have no wrist

issues but your fingers start straining mechanical keyboards might be a better

option because they need less force for a key to be pushed I'll try to link some

videos that give you a better explanation about that in the

description

and that's it so thank you for watching and yeah you can leave now

yeah okay yeah you can go bye yeah Cheers

okay okay don't forget your coat see ya bye

okay so know all the casuals are gone

we can play this outro

I'm Going Home | Fast Russian - Duration: 4:09.

Subtitles start at 0:32

I am going home this Saturday.

So, I am leaving Hampton, taking a bus

to New York, then from New York on the 17th,

I am flying to Russia.

I'll be home in Novosibirsk on the nineteenth and

I will be in Moscow on eighteenth, because I,

for the first time I have, I will have long layover in Moscow.

I usually am there for two hours and immediately fly home.

At this time, I'll be waiting for a very long time, I will go

to my brother.

He now lives in Moscow, he is studying in Moscow.

I'll go to him, will visit him.

But I did not want to talk about this but about... about the Russian

winter.

I have not been home in winter for three years already.

That is the last time, when I was in the Russian winter

It was 2014.

Since the beginning of the moment ... since the beginning of the channel, I

I've never been to a Russian winter, Russian coldness,

while I constantly talk about it,

I teach Russian language, but while I haven't been into a real coldness

for a long time.

Therefore, I wanted to go this year.

Visit my family, because I unofficially get

Bachelors this semester.

That is, officially, I graduate in May, but

I have finished my courses this semester.

So I decided to go home and celebrate it.

I am of course very, very happy.

Lately I've been wanting to go home more and more, I don't

know why really.

Because, I think I like homeland.

I fell in love with my homeland, I became closer to my family,

I began to communicate more with them, I began to communicate more with

friends of mine, that's why maybe I want to go home

as soon as possible.

But I'm not sure, of course maybe just

because I miss my friends and relatives, I don't know.

But it will be a great opportunity for me to make videos,

show you a real winter, you know...

"You know" already in English speaking... to show you the real winter

in Russia.

I do not know how I will be able to shoot video outdoors in freezing temperatures,

Well, because the camera will just freeze, as well as

a phone.

So I do not know, we'll see.

I'll consider, I I will think up something, and will record a video about

something, about some, snow, I don't. Will know come up

with something.

So.

That's why I'm very, very happy to go home.

I have not been home, as I said, I have not been home for

half a year, but I haven't seen winter for a very long time.

Here, of course, it snows sometimes, but it does not compare

with what we have in Russia.

That's why I want to shovel snow as soon as possible,

to throw it with a shovel over the fence, overall, all the winter fun things.

And as you know, I love winter, I recorded

a video about this before.

That is, I can not wait to go to Russia.

Therefore, if anything, if I will be releasing videos

less often, know that I am at home, relaxing and enjoying

life.

Mark Threlfall's C茅rvelo S5 | GTN's Presenter Pro Bike - Duration: 3:31.

- I've run you through my TT bike the P5X,

but now it's time for my road bike the Cervelo S5.

And though I ride my TT bike more so these days,

I actually started out on a road bike

doing ITU short distance draught legal racing,

so I really enjoy coming back to a bike like this.

So let me run you through the frame,

components, and some of my set up choices.

(groovy music)

So starting with the frame itself,

I'm 6'1 and previously I used to ride a 58 centimetre frame

but I've more latterly switched to 56 centimetres

so this is a 56.

And that's just come down to personal preference,

trial and error, just really enjoy that size now.

It's an aero road frame so you can see

the kind of truncated design of the down tube

and a slightly slimmer seat tube

and that just comes down to aerodynamics

and improving the airflow around the frame.

And on the subject of aerodynamics,

we've got the Cervelo Aero handlebars,

and the thing I really like about these

is that it's not a one-piece design with the stem,

so it means that I can just nice and easily

adjust the angle of the handlebars as well.

And on those handlebars I've got

the Polar M460 bike computer.

And with it being aero handlebars

it can sometimes be tricky to find a mount

that will work with those handlebars,

but fortunately, Cervelo have got BarFly

to specifically design a mount that will work for them.

So moving on, I've got the Shimano Dura-Ace 9100 groupset.

And on the crankset I've got a 52/36 setup

with a 172.5 crank length and on the end of those

I've got the Look Keo 2 Max pedals

and on the back I'm running a gear ratio of 11/26.

I'm running the Vision Metron 55 wheels.

I picked that depth for aerodynamics

and to suit the shape of the frame

and from a perfectionist point of view,

kinda looks quite good too.

And to finish it off I've got

the Continental Grand Prix 4000 tyres

and they're in a 25mm width.

Now you'll have noticed that I've got

standard rim brakes on this bike

and unlike a lot of aero road bikes,

they haven't actually hidden the callipers,

though on the rear they have designed it

so the rear seat stays actually shield the calliper

so it improves the airflow around the calliper.

And then moving down from that,

something Cervelo have kind of pioneered,

is their extended seat tube cutout.

So basically the trailing edge of the seat tube

comes in closer to the tyre,

so it improves the airflow around the frame

and around the tyre and the wheel,

therefore reducing turbulence of the wind

and improving aerodynamics.

And finishing touches to the bike,

I've currently just got one bottle cage on there

but going back to my ITU days,

I would normally run two bottle cages.

I'd have a 500mL bottle in each.

Energy drink in one and water in the other

which I'd use to wash down gels

or to cool myself off in hot races.

Moving up through the bike

we've got the Cervelo proprietary aero seat post,

but on top of that we've got the Fizik Antares saddle.

So there we go, that is my Cervelo S5 Pro bike.

And if you like this bike, give this video a thumbs up,

and to see more videos from GTN

Top 10 Scary Ancient Curses That Claimed People's Lives - Duration: 8:40.

Top 10 Scary Ancient Curses That Claimed People's Lives

Welcome back guys, my name is Danny Burke and today I have for you the Top 10 Scary

Ancient Curses That Claimed Peoples Lives.

Thats the title, now I imagine a lot of you guys are skeptics about wether or not curses

exist or they can kill people.

Thats fine.

I think I am too.

However, I invite you and everyone else to take a look at these mystifying stories of

people who died for unknown reason - and the only theories involve ancient curses.

Either way, its gonna be interesting - lets jump into our number 10 with King Tuts Curse.

This the legendary story of Tutankhamuns tomb - otherwise known as the Egyptian boy king.

In 1923, the tomb was discovered by archaeologist Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon.

The inscription at the enterance read -Death shall come on swift wings to him who disturbs

the peace of the King-.

They ignored the warning and entered to find untouched treasures that were quickly extracted

and sent to Museums.

6 weeks later, Lord Carnarvon died.

Over the next few years, things got really weird.

Relatives of the men died prematurely, their personal secretary was found dead in his bed

which drove his father to suicide.

In total there were 11 deaths that people attribute to the curse and the topic is still

discussed to this day …

Next up at number 9 we have Otzi The Iceman.

In 1991, scientists found the preserved body of 5,300 year old man in the alps on the Austrian-Italian

border.

Some people voiced concerns about moving the body but their concerns were ignored the interest

of scientific study.

In 2004, the hiker who discovered the body died from a fall.

One of the rescue team who found his body died from a heart attack just hours after

the funeral.

The pathologist who examined the body died in a car accident while the guide who led

him there died in an avalanche.

The head of the scientific team died of multiple sclerosis, the archaeologist died of a blood

disease while the documentary film maker died of a brain tumor.

A lot of people said that this is a normal amount of deaths given how big the team involved

was, others still maintain Otzis body should have never been disturbed, what do you guys

think?

Moving on to number 8 we have The Tomb.

In 1369, The Great Khan Timur of the Mongols reaked havoc across Asia and eastern Europe.

When he died in 1405, his tomb was sealed and covered with arabic text that read -When

I arise from the grave, the world will tremble- … fast forward over 500 years later and

the Soviet Union was looking to excivate the tomb and expand their archeological collection.

The locals warned them not too and said if the tomb of Timur was opened, a war will begin.

They removed Timurs skull on June 21st 1941 - the day after, on the 22nd, the Nazis attacked

Russia, dragging them into the WWII that would result in the deaths of over 20 million Russians

At the number 7 spot we have the Silver Basano Vase.

This 15th century silver case was given to an Italian bride as a wedding gift.

On her wedding night, she was found dying on the floor clutching the vase - her final

words were that she would return and seek vengeance.

After she died, the vase was passed down through the family, all of them dying under mysterious

circumstances.

Eventually, the vase was buried on sacred ground, only to be rediscovered in 1988.

Inside, a note simply said -Beware … this vase brings death- The warning was ignored

and the vase continued to be passed and sold between people, leaving a trail of death behind

it.

Eventually, the towns people refused to handle the vase.

The police apparently tried to find a museum to take it, but all of them refused.

So, they buried it.

The location of the vase is unknown, but now there are people out there looking for it

Next up at number 6 we have The Curse of King Casimir.

This 15th century Polish king who ruled over his kingdom for 45 years before dying in 1492.

His tomb was sealed and everyone in the kingdom barred from entering.

In 1973, 12 researchers opened up the tomb to excavate it.

Within just a few days, 4 of them were dead.

Over the next few years, the rest followed, falling one by one to cancer and other fatal

diseases.

In the end, 15 people who worked on the project were dead.

An investigation found that the cause was most likely a deadly fungus that had grown

in rotting, ancient tomb.

However, some people believe this was just the physical manifestation of a curse to protect

a kings sacred tomb …

Moving on to number 5 we have St Annes Well.

In 2016, archaeologists in England discovered St Annes well whos location had been lost

in time.

The well was visited by pilgrims who believed it was blessed with healings powers that could

cure their illnesses and diseases.

It carried with it a scary story from the past - at some point during the 16th century,

there was a dispute over the well between the monks who looked after it and a nearby

landowner.

They both claimed the well however it didnt matter, King Henry the 8th seized the well

and the priory from all of them.

The leader of the monks cursed the landowner and then died.

3 months later, the landowners son died of a strange illness and the landowner lost all

of his money.

A year later and he himself was found at the bottom of the well with his head smashed in.

At the number 4 spot we have The Crying Boys.

The story goes that not long after the 2nd world war, artist Bruno Amadio painted portraits

of Italian orphans as souvenirs for tourists.

Copies of the prints spread all over Europe including England where they were very popular.

In the 1980s, a spree of 50 house fires across England were mystifying investigators, one

of the only common themes was that most of them contained pictures of the crying boys.

Whats even stranger is that they survived remarkably well compared to other items in

the houses, sometimes they were completely untouched!

Some psychics claim that these pictures were haunted by the orphans themselves, who had

brought the misery and pain they suffered in life to the owners of their pictures …

At the number 3 spot now we have The Croesus Treasure.

In 1965, 5 villagers in Turkey found The treasure collection of King Croesus - over 350 gold

and silver objects.

They illegally sold many of the artifacts to a smuggler but instead of riches and happiness,

they were met with misery after misery.

After being arrested and charged by the police, on of the villagers lost 3 of his sons, one

of whom was murdered with his throat slit.

The villager himself was later paralyzed and then died.

Another villager went through a divorce followed by the suicide of his wife.

Another villager went clinically insane and only talked about how he hid 40 barrels of

gold somewhere.

Some people believe this was all a direct result of taking the treasure, and that the

curse will live on until they are returned to where they were found.

Next up at number 2 we have The Bjorketorp Runestone.

This runestone in Sweeden dates back 1500 years and is one of the tallest in the world.

There is an inscription written in a Proto-Nordic language that reads -I, master of the runes

conceal here runes of power.

Incessantly plagued by maleficence, doomed to insidious death is he who breaks this monument-

… so obviously, whoever wrote this doesnt want you to touch this thing.

The problem is though, weve only understood this language in recent times - for hundreds

of years, people had no idea what the inscription said.

Locals said say that one man tried to remove the rune stone by heating it with fire and

then cracking it with cold water.

After he lit the fire, a gust of wind blew it into a giant fireball which consumed the

man and left him burning to death alone …

And finally at number 1 we have The Woman From Lemb Statue.

This statue from Cyprus was found in Eastern Europe in 1878 and dated to 3,500 years old.

The first owner was Lord Elphont - he had a large family of 7 - all of them died within

6 years of him receiving the statue.

The rumour began that the statue was cursed, but that didnt stop a man called Ivor Manucci

from buying it.

He and his entire family died within 4 years.

The same happened to the next owner, Lord Thompson-Noel.

The statue vanished for a while but then surfaced in the hands of Sir Alan Biverbrook.

He, his wife and their two daughters died - it looked like his two sons might be next

to fall to the curse.

The sons decided to donate the statue to the Royal Scottish Museum - the museum curator

who handled it died within a year.

Now, it sits behind glass and hasnt been accused of any more deaths … or should I say yet

OK, thats done.

No more talk of ancient curses.

For real though, Im interested to know your thoughts on this, do you believe in curses?

Or do you think theres a logical explanation for everything weve talked about today?

Let me know, Im Danny Burke, thanks for watching and Ill see you all in the next video!

This is How Souls Choose Their Parents and Families - Duration: 4:57.

This is How Souls Choose Their Parents and Families

Years before my baby girl was born, I had a dream that I had a daughter.

She came to me and gave me a hug, told me I was her mother, and told me her name was

Evelyn.

That dream imprinted on my memory and my heart.

So much so that when I found out I was pregnant, I knew I was carrying a girl, and she had

already told me her name: Evelyn.

Meaning wished for child, which couldnt be more true!

In order to evolve, our souls come to Earth more than once.

I know that as Ive grown and changed and learned about soul contracts and reincarnation,

my thoughts and beliefs have gravitated to this notion.

For those of you who are on the fence about reincarnation, I invite to you to explore

the idea that a soul is born into a (different) body for many lifetimes.

It is my belief that once a soul has made the decision to have (another) earthly incarnation,

the first step is to decide on what kind of life they want.

This is contingent upon what lessons they wish to learn.

This involves being matched with a parent or set of parents.

This process really depends on the souls purpose and desire for specific lessons and

lifestyle.

For example, if two souls had been together before perhaps as a mother and daughter set,

then they might wish to relive that experience again or perhaps relive it in reverse, so

the daughter becomes the mother in the new lifetime.

Sometimes the soul wishes to incarnate in a particular part of the world, and the choice

will be less specific to the individual parent.

As diverse as people are, so are our souls and what we wish to create and experience

in our lifetime(s).

Once this connection to a potential parent is made, the soul then creates a connection

to that person and is present around their energy, waiting to be born at the right time.

When I do intuitive readings for clients, I often see the souls of their unborn children

waiting for them.

I can usually tell if the child is a boy or a girl, and may also get a sense of what they

are meant to experience together in this lifetime.

The book Spirit Babies: How to Communicate with the Child Youre Meant to Have is a

collection of stories from an intuitive gentleman who spent decades connecting parents with

their unborn children.

When I do a reading, I cannot guarantee Ill pick up information about potential unborn

children, but more often than not, I do see them if they are with you and going to be

joining your family in the future.

Of course, parents also have significant influence as to which soul joins their family through

conception.

Our daily thoughts, desires and purposes create a beacon for souls who respond to these energies.

This is particularly true of the mother.

According to the Edgar Cayce readings, a womans daily activities and inner thoughts during

the gestation period create a field much like a magnet would, attracting souls to the field

of opportunity life as her child would offer.

As far as families with more than one child, souls also make soul contract/agreements with

potential siblings.

The energy field and desire of the mother and the souls wanting to incarnate combine

to make the decision as to who is born first.

I like to imagine my sisters and I floating in the Ether on the Other Side deciding

to go first, and I in my oldest child splendor and glory pushed through and said, Me first,

of course!

In the case of miscarriage, Ive noticed that particular soul often comes in through

a later pregnancy if the opportunity is presented.

Ive also seen one instance where the miscarried child from a woman went on to be born into

her best friends family.

Ive done readings for folks who have shared a myriad of past lives with the same group

of souls soul groups all taking turns being siblings, parents and children.

One thing Im certain after doing hundreds of readings iswe certainly do choose our

family members, the location we will incarnate, and the different life events that will take

place.

It is empowering and so very touching for me to know my family members and I chose each

other.

I feel especially honored that my daughter chose me.

What a gift she has given me in this lifetime.

The True Meaning of Christmas - Duration: 4:53.

(gentle piano)

- [Narrator] As the night drew to a close

Grant was very, very down.

Jack Frost was closing in

and he had yet to crack the Christmas code.

- Whoa! Whoa!

Too much nog!

Ugh! Grant, what's wrong?

- I've been trying all day and I still haven't

figured out the true meaning of Christmas.

- I have a tip for you.

Christmas starts with a C, right?

So does the word, corporation.

- Ugh. Exhausting.

Grant, it's simple.

We're spending time together

taking time for other people.

That's what Christmas is all about.

- Really?

I guess you're right.

Thanks, Trap.

- Any time, Grant.

Now, let's figure out how to pay

for this bar we reserved, right?

There's only six of us

so it's gonna be pretty expensive.

- Aww, dang! I got a flight to catch!

- You going back to Chicago, Raph?

- Yeah, the whole family is headed back home.

- Wow. You know, families coming together

from wherever they are.

That's the true meaning of Christmas.

- [Raph] Yeah! - Families.

- What?

- Hmm? Family, Grant. Family.

This isn't hard.

It's when people come together no matter--

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

A second ago you said that telling people you love them

was the true meaning of Christmas.

- Families come in all shapes and sizes, Grant.

- Totally.

- I think that might be the true meaning of Christmas.

- Yes! - Yeah.

- I couldn't agree more.

- In what sense?

How is "families come in all shapes and sizes"

the true meaning of Christmas?

- Christmas is about

love, and giving, and family, and hope.

- That's just a list of nice things.

Not every nice thing is a Christmas thing.

- Well, Grant, if you think about it,

aren't lists the true meaning of Christmas?

- Yes!

- All different things coming together

onto one page.

- Trap, I swear to God.

- The Twelve Days of Christmas, checking it twice.

- Stop it!

- Grant, calm down, have some hot cocoa

or a mint or some turkey or a cookie.

- Oh! All my Christmas favorites!

- Cookies?

Just vaguely cookies are your Christmas favorite?

- It doesn't matter what people eat on Christmas.

What's important is that they get full.

- Yes!

- Like a hug from the inside.

God, that's what Christmas is all about, isn't it?

- Is it just that winter sucks?

Like, you're cold so you have to dress things up

in Christmas colors?

- Red! - Green!

- Green! - Red!

- It's about giving.

- That's the true meaning.

- And family.

- That's the true-- - And hope.

- That's-- - And love.

- That's the true meaning of Christmas.

- But most of all

it's about the big guy.

- Santa! - Jesus!

- Right!

- Jesus! - Santa!

- Oh!

- Santa! - Jesus!

- This is exactly what I'm talking about!

Frosted Flakes has one mascot!

Christmas has bad branding!

- You're telling me.

- Jesus?

- That's right!

I'm Jesus Christ.

- Wow.

Why would Jesus Christ bartend a holiday party

with a bunch of comedy writers?

- Tips, baby.

- Oh.

- Grant, a lot of people are confused

about the true meaning of Christmas.

- Really?

- Really.

But the truth is, it's all about the story of one man.

Jack Frost.

- What?

- Jack Frost.

He covers the world with snow

and brings the smell of wood smoke

to one and all.

- You mean like, that Old Man Winter guy?

- No. Old Man Winter is someone else.

Jack Frost is his own man.

- Huh.

- Huh. That's--

- What?

- That's dumb.

- I think we're just a little surprised.

Jack Frost is like a minor character

in the Christmas pantheon.

- Yes.

Why would a character that I've barely

fucking heard of be the true meaning of Christmas?

It's fucking bananas!

- Is it?

A moment ago you were fighting with everyone.

Now look. Perfect agreement.

- Huh.

- That's Jack Frost

working his wintry magic to bring people closer together.

- Wow. I guess you're right.

- Hey, Grant.

Merry Christmas.

- Merry Christmas, Jesus.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

- Merry Christmas! - Merry Christmas.

- Merry Christmas. - Merry Christmas!

- [Narrator] From all of us here at College Humor,

Happy Holidays!

And remember what I always say...

Keep it cold.

(maniacal laughter)

That's right! It was me, Jack Frost,

the whole series!

2017 Snoglobes - Video Game Awards - Duration: 16:39.

2017 has been the best year for Snoman Gaming yet, and thanks to your help we hit 100,000

subscribers, in fact, actually, Youtube sent me the 100k plaque, but they made it out of

snow, so uhh...it's melted...but it's also been a phenomenal year for gaming, perhaps

the best in recent memory.

It's been hit after hit every single month and I've had such a hard time narrowing

down my choices for the Snoglobes this year, which are my video game awards in case you

didn't know, that's what I'm kinda getting to.

Things are going to look a little different this time around, instead of having 3 nominees

and a winner for every category, I'm going to quickly get to the victor of the awards

and spend a little more time talking about each one.

The Game of the Year will still have 5 nominees like normal, however.

It's probably also important to remind you that I haven't played every game out there,

and this is a personal list of what stood out to me the most, so don't get super mad

if your favorite didn't make the cut.

There's a lot to cover so let's dive right in.

The first award we'll be giving away is for this year's Cutest Game.

There were a lot of charming & adorable stories told in 2017, most of which seemed to come

out of nowhere and surprise me with how good they were, but I think without a doubt the

one that captured my heart the most was A Hat In Time.

In my Good Game Design on this title, I talked a lot about its creation and how it was developed,

but I didn't get a chance to just gush about all the things I loved about it.

I've heard complaints regarding Mario Odyssey, saying people missed the lengthier star missions

from previous games, since now it's a much faster paced treasure hunt, so if I hear these

concerns, I try to direct them to A Hat in Time.

Every single act has so much personality bursting at the seams, and it never feels repetitive

or like it ran out of ideas.

It keeps getting wackier and more ambitious with every mission, and each one can take

anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour!

But no matter where Hat Girl travels to, from a terrifying haunted manor to the sky-high

peaks of the Alpine, it always made me smile and was cute as heck from start to finish.

Hat Girl herself is delightful with all the different outfits she can wear and how she

sees the world through a child's eyes.

The way she interacts with the different characters were the highlights of the game for me, and

the supporting cast did nothing but emphasize the theming Gears for Breakfast was going for.

A Hat in Time threw caution to the wind and strived to be extraordinary, and I don't

think I've ever seen an indie studio give so much love and attention to how the game

played as well as how the world would appear.

It exudes polish, and after waiting years for its release, I can finally say that it's

exactly what I was hoping it would be.

Next up, we have the "It's Like Dark Souls" award.

This phrase has gotten a lot of use this year, mostly in a tongue in cheek way to simply

describe when a game is really difficult, but there have been a few titles that lived

up to this comparison.

While I wish it hadn't become such a meme, I can't help but think that the best title

that actually exemplifies the Dark Souls experience is Hollow Knight.

Yes of course it's a 2D Metroidvania, but the tone and atmosphere of the Souls series

is absolutely present in this fascinating adventure.

Hollow Knight has a strong focus on combat, and many of the boss battles exhibit the same

tense moments that reminded me of why I loved Dark Souls so much.

You have to learn patterns and become a better player in order to succeed - you will die

many times and have to pick yourself back up to try again, all while losing your sou-

I mean Geo - in the process.

But even further, the expansive world and hidden backstory drew me in and made me question

what happened here ages ago.

Hollow Knight just keeps on giving and when you think it's nearing the end, you aren't

even close.

It ramps up as you gain more abilities and challenges you in many different ways, from

learning the locations because of a limited map, to platforming gauntlets to test your

endurance, to balancing health as you slaughter your way through waves of enemies.

This is the first game produced by Team Cherry, which was a development team of 4 people,

and this blows my mind considering the full-scale quality release that is the final product.

If you're interested in compelling Souls-like stories, or the challenge that comes along

with them, with a base price of $15, you cannot go wrong with Hollow Knight, and it has quickly

become one of my favorite campaigns of this year.

Unfortunately, amidst all of the fantastic titles in 2017, there were some disappointments

as well, and now we're going to award the biggest one.

Of course there was AAA drama with games like Battlefront 2's lootboxes or Destiny 2's

locking of previously available content behind new DLC, but I didn't play those titles,

for good reason.

Instead I want to talk about the game that let me down the most: Yooka-Laylee.

I described at length my issues in my Banjo vs. Yooka video back in May, but supposedly

they've fixed some of these problems in recent patches, such as being able to skip

cutscenes and adjusting the slippery controls of the snow plow, but the sad truth for me

is that it simply is too late for that.

I've said from the start that if Yooka-Laylee had been given an extra 6 months to a year

of development it would have gone a long way in creating a fuller, more enjoyable experience

overall.

Instead what we're left with is a skeleton of a collectathon, a blueprint of what it

could have been.

There's references to past games and cheeky banter abounding but the core gameplay and

content feels lackluster compared to its history of great 3D Platformers.

Even if they continue to make small revisions, I don't think it would fix my main issue,

which has always been the lack of meaningful secrets in Yooka, especially after teasing

some big reveals, and to this day we still have nothing of value or wonder, but instead

what feels like a hastily completed project trying to be the first one out of the gate

for the 2017 collectathon rare-vival.

I can certainly still hope for a more thought out sequel in Playtonic's future and am

interested to see where they go from here, but for now, we've gotten 2 other 3D platformers

this year that are better in almost every aspect.

This brings us to the "What time is it?" award, and this one goes to the game that

was so enthralling that I just couldn't put the controller down and then eventually

realize that hours have gone by without even noticing.

It's hard to find a game that can draw you in without a care in the world these days,

but a few titles had me pining to play more while I fulfilled my other obligations.

And the one that captivated me the most was Breath of the Wild.

This game was truly a magical affair, and something I'd never seen from the Zelda

franchise before.

It emphasized discovery and exploration in ways I've only seen other open world games

dream of doing, by simply letting you free to wander the plains of Hyrule and reveal

everything hiding in its world.

When it first came out, people were already claiming it to be their Game of the Year,

but now that the dust has settled some quickly point out its flaws like the lack of enemy

variety or the annoyance of weapon durability, but I can't shake from my mind how engaging

my first playthrough was.

Breath of the Wild is sort of a unique case where playing through it again won't have

nearly the same impact that it did on your initial pilgrimage, but the secrets you'll

discover and the people you'll meet on that first runthrough are unforgettable.

The world is littered with such a vast amount of shrines, korok seeds, enemy camps, minibosses

and memories that no matter how you get from point A to point B, you're going to find

something along the way, and more often than not, a distraction so tantalizing, you'll

spend an extra several hours on a side-excursion before heading back to your original plan.

Zelda is normally a pretty linear series, but Breath of the Wild left me with such a

satisfied journey that I couldn't take my eyes off of it until I had finished,

many, many hours later.

Our last award before Game of the Year is for Best Art Direction.

There was a plethora of beautiful games this year, from hi-bit sensations to jaw dropping

masterpieces in both visuals and sound, but I think this Snoglobe has to go to Cuphead.

Despite my opinions on my how it handled difficulty some of the time, I still enjoyed it quite

a bit, and there's no doubt that Cuphead is absolutely gorgeous - I think this is what

drew most people in when it first came onto the scene.

I remember seeing it briefly during an Xbox E3 indie showcase and everyone saying, "Woah,

wait, go back!

What was that game that looked like 1930's cartoons?!"

It caught my eye to say the least, and now that it has come to fruition, I can definitely

say that it was a passion project that perfectly captures the style it's trying to emulate.

Not just in boss animation, but the overworld, the characters, and especially the music as

well.

What I didn't expect was that it brought all of the imperfections of the era with it,

like how Cuphead's clothes don't match on certain screens, or how the objects in

the foreground wiggle around and are much brighter than the hand-painted backgrounds,

making them stick out like a sore thumb.

Yet all of this is endearing, it's reminiscent of all the cartoons we grew up watching - gambling,

deals with the devil and cigar smoking are par for the course here.

But perhaps what is most impressive is the bar that this sets for art in games in the

future.

Not only is the loopy, unrealistic animations wonderful homage, but it's also clearly

well done and full of little details you probably won't even notice because you're focusing

on all the mayhem coming at you.

This combined with the challenge of each battle made sure you'll never forget the faces

of those that decimated you over and over.

And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way...

Alright, the time has come - let's get to the Game of the Year award!

As I said earlier, it was painful trying to cut the list of awesome games that I've

played this year down to 5, but the nominees on this list not only were fantastic voyages

on their own, they also left a monumental impression on me that made me sit back in

awe of what I'd just played.

We probably won't have a year quite like 2017 in a long time to come, so let's celebrate

some of the best titles it had to offer.

Breath of the Wild - From the moment King Rhoam told me to go and...roam (oh wow, I

get it) Hyrule in an effort to figure out how to defeat Ganon, I was hooked and realized

this was going to be one crazy adventure.

The simple fact that you CAN go and confront Ganon from the very start is enough to make

this an unparalleled experience, and each decision I made felt like I was carving my

own path, and every other person's journey was going to look drastically different from

mine.

It felt rewarding to gain strength as I discovered shrines, uncovered hidden fairy fountains

and collected magical powers from guardians of legend.

And then, once I'd completed all the main dungeons, I didn't want it to end because

there was still so much to explore.

From shield surfing, to tower climbing, to the trials of Eventide Island, Breath of the

Wild is jam packed with the joy of an adventurer's heart.

A Hat In Time - Do you like pretty hats, booping noses and riding scooters?

I do...that's like my favorite things.

Then A Hat in Time is perfect for you.

I love that I can still remember every chapter of this game because each one is unique and

full of precious little momentos.

So yeah, it's cute, but it also controls really well and feels awesome to move around

the different worlds, which is very important for a 3D platformer to succeed today.

The base game is almost flawless, but what's even better is that free DLC is coming with

entirely new locations, and until then we have full mod support, so the community can

come up with some ridiculously wacky scenarios to place Hat Kid into.

I don't know if another game has made me so happy from start to finish like A Hat in

Time did.

Super Mario Odyssey - I think I purposefully kept expectations low for Mario Odyssey because

it had a lot to live up to.

I didn't think it could possibly be up to par with the likes of Mario 64 and Sunshine,

especially with his recent forays into more linear games.

But WOW YEAH I was totally wrong!

Odyssey is exactly what I wanted out of a new Mario game, big open worlds to explore,

tons and tons of collectibles to find, and somehow EVEN BETTER movement mechanics than

in previous installments.

Seriously, of all the take aways, the fact that Mario now controls better than 64 is

downright unbelievable, but here we are.

Though it didn't stop there!

We've now seen Mario in huge metropolises, taking over old & new enemies for tons of

variety, and beating up Bowser in the most anime way possible.

I love it so much.

Hollow Knight - Hollow Knight was my Hyper Light Drifter of this year.

What I mean by that is I originally tried it out, but quit after a few hours because

I got lost or didn't really understand it.

But luckily I gave it another shot later this year and as soon as I past where I had left

off, the game soared beyond my wildest expectations and became something remarkable.

I'm so glad I gave Hollow Knight a 2nd chance because now I understand what everyone had

been speaking so highly of.

It may have a slower start, but when you discover exactly how huge the world is and the potential

your character holds for combat and platforming, it turns into a quest unlike any other Metroidvania.

From the cryptic story to the variety of locations and enemies, to the novel bug-based art style,

Hollow Knight was intriguing, mesmerizing and weird, but in the best way possible.

Golf Story - I did not expect to love Golf Story as much as I did, but it must've hit

a hole-in-one in my heart to satisfy what I've been missing in my life because it

was so good you guys!

It made me remember loving the simplicity of games like Mario Golf, but also the silly

yet adorable storytelling of Stardew Valley, and combines them flawlessly.

Golf Story is a lot longer than I thought it was going to be, and it stays engaging

the entire time, which I mean, makes sense when you're going from hitting golf balls

into the eye sockets of skeletons to rap battling against elderly people.

While it does feel like you hardly ever play a round of golf, it does actually blend the

matches and other quests together quite well, and tells a charming tale of an optimistic

boy's rise to pro golfer, with a little bit of hijinks along the way.

And the game of the year is:

Super Mario Odyssey!

The hardest decision I had to make for this list was deciding between Mario or Zelda for

my game of the year.

They both were such fresh expeditions for their series that at the very least I think

we can all agree that Nintendo has had a sensational year - I don't want to hear anyone complain

about ol' Ninty for at least another 3.

But seriously, both Breath of the Wild and Odyssey are once-in-a-decade type games and

yet we got both of them 6 months apart.

I think it will come down to what type of game you enjoy more personally, and for myself,

that's platformers.

Mario has never looked better, and gave me exactly what I was yearning for, while also

taking our favorite plumber into new waters (much like what they did for Link as well).

Cappy changes the gameplay in so many different aspects, from captures to movement, but what

I didn't expect was how much the endgame content added to the experience.

Not only was it packed with loads of nostalgia, but also more than doubled the base package.

Not to mention that replayability and speedrunning felt great because of how fluidly Mario can

glide around stages thanks to his new abilities.

Sometimes I'll just boot the game up to simply jump around skyscrapers or find new

ways to climb mountains.

While there were so many adventures that took my breath away this year, I think Super Mario

Odyssey takes the cake for me because it was everything I was hoping Mario's newest outing

would look like in 2017.

So there you have it, that's my list of the best games of the year, but I would love

to hear from you!

What were your favorite titles of 2017, either for these categories I came up with, or some

of your own?

Tell me in the comments below and let's talk about it!

As we enter a new year I wanted to make sure you were aware that I stream

regularly on Twitch.tv/snomangaming, so be sure to follow me on there so you don't

miss a stream, in case you want to see more of me playing a game or talk about design.

I can't thank you all enough for an outstanding year and I can't wait to see what 2018 has

in store.

So thanks for watching, and stay frosty my friends!

Is it REALLY necessary to avoid "unhealthy" white bread? - Duration: 12:16.

Here Coach Dan Long with Get Lean In 12, and we are live.

Today, in this short video, I'm going

to answer the question is it necessary to avoid breads.

Now, you can see some of these amazing breads I have here

for you today.

I'm going to go over these breads.

But if you know a bread lover, and you

know someone who loves bread, how about take a second,

and go ahead and tag them in this video

down in the comments below.

Say hi to me, right.

Tell me who you are-- where you're from.

I'd love to meet everyone that's out there, especially when I

get a chance to go live with like this video I'm doing--

about to do on this bread here.

So is it really necessary to avoid breads?

I'm going to answer that question for you.

First, let me tell you a little bit about me.

My name's Dan Long.

I've been in the fitness industry for over 20 years.

I've been studying nutrition and fitness,

and doing what I love to help people like yourself achieve

the body that they desire.

Now, I've been blessed over those 20 years

to learn so much information that I love to share

with people just like you.

And that's why we're going to talk about these breads today.

Now, I want you to know, I went through a serious custody

battle for my two children that I have full custody for today

to be able to pursue my passion for fitness and nutrition,

to be able to do things like this today with you.

And that's the reason why I'm blessed to be here.

So thank you for being with me today.

And also, I really want to let you know,

I'm going to be sharing up at this link, OK.

Do not click it just yet.

Don't click it yet because you're

going to miss this information.

My wife Nicole, she's an over-40 mother of three children--

we're blessed.

We have two beautiful girls and one boy that she's over 40,

and it's been a very hard time trying

to lose that stubborn fat that obviously when

you have children, sometimes it can challenge you.

Well, I'm blessed to say that I have the exact protocol

that she uses, and I use--

being 44-years-old-- to help me combat and her combat that fat.

And I'm going to share it with you

at the end of this video, so just keep watching, OK.

Now with that being said, I'm going to answer some questions.

Today I have this is-- you can see here--

this is a white bread, right--

probably one of your favorites.

This here is a honey wheat bread,

and then I also have Ezekiel--

as you can see--

Ezekiel muffins, which we love in our household.

And I took some slices out for you

to see the comparisons of the different types of bread

that I have today.

Now, with that being said, can you have this bread

and still get the body that you desire?

The answer, yes, but you strategically

have to pay attention to the facts

that I'm about to give to you, and also,

the tips at the end of this that you

can use to still burn stubborn fat off seven days a week.

OK, so now, let's go over these facts/

Fact number one, white bread--

white bread contains high GI, right, high Glycemic Index,

which is one of the reasons why it spikes your insulin, right?

It's full of refined white flour, which refined

means that it comes from humans touching it, and they color it.

They do things to it by processing it,

and what happens to that?

The insulin inside the body because of these things,

and it's hidden fillers.

You have to understand, white bread, OK, white bread

has hidden fillers inside of it also triggering rapid release

hormones inside of our body, right,

that what-- it triggers the sugars inside the body

to retain fat.

So those hormones inside the body,

that's a lot of the reason why white bread makes

us gain a lot of fat.

But don't worry, I've got something special for you.

You're still going to be able to eat this

if you do it like I tell you here in a second.

All right, second is going to be fact number two,

wheat breads, OK, wheat breads.

Wheat breads contain high fructose corn syrup.

Now I know we've been told, wheat brands are probably

the bomb, and you think they're the best thing ever.

Well, I hate to break it to you.

These are almost similar to white breads only

because-- like you can see with this bread--

it says honey wheat.

Well, it's honey wheat, but there is still fillers

inside this wheat bread.

So the high fructose syrup that's inside here, and also

those fillers--

which are some nasty, unfortunately possible things

that could be as bad as chemicals-- inside these breads

are making you hold on to stubborn fat.

OK, so that's the wheat bread.

Now, the next best bread, which is the best I would recommend,

is definitely Ezekiel.

Now Ezekiel bread, as you can see here, this is a muffin.

This is an English muffin.

I cut it in half for you, so you can see the inside.

I preferably love this, especially with some

all-natural honey, a little bit of my favorite spread

that's on there in the morning with my--

I scramble up some egg whites sometimes.

This is an amazing bread, and I'm going to tell you why.

The facts of this bread is Ezekiel is a millet, right?

A millet contains 15% protein.

So this type of bread, Ezekiel bread--

let me get a little close here--

Ezekiel bread, as you can see that name there,

OK, it contains 15% of protein, which is a huge bonus.

It's high in fiber.

It's also high in b-complex vitamins.

It also has vitamin E. It has essential amino acids

inside this bread.

Now, you can tell that's an amazing benefit,

and it's also high in minerals.

So if it's high in minerals, and it has all these amino acids,

and it has all these other benefits,

you probably would want to choose this most of the time.

But I know you're looking at me right now saying, Dan,

I love white bread.

I love wheat bread.

I love sourdough.

I love French bread.

The list goes on and on.

Well, yes, you can have those breads

if you follow these couple simple tips

that I have for you right now.

Tip number one, stick to one or two

slices, and don't overeat in a seven-day work period.

So this is a big slice, as you can tell, right?

Now, if you're like me, I love to make sandwiches.

And sandwiches is one of my favorite things to eat,

but it requires usually two pieces of bread.

Well, you can also cut the bread in half

and make a half of the sandwich, or just

try not to consume more than one to two pieces of this

in a seven-day work week, all right.

And if you do, skip some days.

Don't do the days back-to-back.

Tip number 2, allow yourself this treat one to two times

a week only, right, only if you exercise.

Now, when I say exercise, I'm not

talking about steady-state cardio.

When you do steady-state cardio, it's

not going to help escalate your metabolism to a point

where you're going to burn off these type of breads.

Now, Ezekiel, you can get away with it

because it's going to be a little bit different because

of it's full of natural great grains, and it's a millet,

and it's awesome.

These have fillers, you have to understand,

and it has refined flour, right, so how are we

going to get rid of that?

You have to do that with exercise,

and it cannot be steady-state cardio.

It needs to be a high-intensity cardio--

a high-intensity cardio-- with intervals

and/or training, so exercise, right?

And it can be just as simple as 12 minutes a day

or every other day.

OK, so if you have 12 minutes, stick with me

here because I have something special for you.

Now, tip number three, use the high-intensity protocol, right,

instead of the steady-state cardio,

but it has to be strategic.

And it has to be specifically designed

for the hormonal condition of people

that are over the age of 35, like myself and also my wife--

that has three children, that obviously

wants to stay in shape, and don't

want to look like you had kids, right.

So that's one of the most important things.

So these facts, these tips, are important for you

to stick with on your seven-day work week.

OK, again, white bread, yes, wheat bread,

yes, and Ezekiel bread, yes, French bread, sourdough bread,

yes.

But it has to be done strategically,

and I just so happen to have exactly what you need today.

The good news is this simple 12-minute metabolic movement

system I want to introduce you to takes

your favorite breads, right, and turns them

into your fat-burning friend.

Now, wouldn't you want to do that?

If it only took 12 minutes, and be

able to eat this, and stay lean, and get ripped,

would you do it?

I know you would.

This program is called the Over 40

Ab Solution that is geared for men and women

over the age of 35.

But really, it's specifically designed

for 40, 50, and 60-year-olds.

OK, it uses the insulin spikes that we get from these breads,

and it converts it into and boost it

into a metabolism-burning machine right

after you do your 12-minute metabolic system that

will give you exactly what you need to help you

get the body that you desire.

Now this system is age-specific.

It includes age-specific components, right?

The first one's called Lean 19.

The tips that I'm giving here right

inside that Lean 19, you're going

to get a ton more tips that's inside that program

called the Lean 19.

That's also in part of the Over 40 Ab Solution.

Now also, you'll get a success tracker,

and a success tracker helps you fast track.

If you want to get started right away,

and you don't want to read all up to almost 100 pages

inside the program, you can jump right in, print this off,

and get started right away.

And success tracker will actually

help you get there even faster.

The next thing is for every single purchase of the Over 40

Ab Solution, we donate--

which is the most amazing thing we do--

we donate $1 to Living Water to help children

and families in third world countries have running water.

We take that for granted.

I know I do sometimes, and this helps me remember.

Here at Get Me in 12, we've been blessed already

to install four working wells to help children and families

from all over the world in third world countries have

24/7 running water.

That is something special that we

want you to be a part of because you have nothing to lose,

except for the belly fat.

And I'm going to tell you why.

Because you get a money back guarantee

for 90 days, not 60, 90 days, not 89, 90 days.

For 90 days, if you don't get what

you want, if you don't lose the belly fat

you want, and you don't get the body that you desire,

guess what--

100% of your money, no questions asked, is 100% returned to you.

And you can keep the program just

for being amazing because we want you to get

the body that you desire.

Now with that being said, you have nothing to lose, OK.

Let's get some belly fat off.

Let's eat the breads that you desire.

Don't forget, please tag a friend that loves bread.

Hit a like, hit a heart, hit a share, if you would.

Please don't forget.

Down below-- you can put your comments down below.

You can ask any questions you want.

We'd be happy to answer those questions for you,

and we'll get those answered right away.

Now here's the time.

Click or tap this link that's right up above.

It'll take you to the Over 40 Ab Solution that I'm talking

about, and give you that 12-minute metabolic

high-intensity exercise program that will specifically design

your body--

if you're in your 40, 50, and 60--

to get the body that you desire.

I want to thank everyone.

Don't forget-- click this link.

All right, right now is the time to click this link.

I want to thank everyone from around the world for joining in

on today's video.

Don't forget to say hi, and I'll see you again,

and keep going strong.

Alaskan Bush People: Rain Brown Gay Rumors: I've Accepted My Sexuality - Duration: 2:15.

Rain Brown Responds to Gay Rumors: I've Accepted My Sexuality

Back in October, Alaskan Bush People star Rain Brown was praised for her pro-equality

message that she shared on Instagram.

Some fans, however, wondered if her message about LGBT rights might be a little personal.

And, rudely, a couple of fans boldly asked Rain if she's gay.

Though she had every right to ignore the questions, Rain decided to come clean and answer them.

Like the rest of her family, Rain Brown has a lot on her plate.

Since no, Ami Brown's cancer wasn't miraculously cured despite our hopes and best wishes, she's

still contending with her mother's battle with lung cancer.

That's hard for anyone to deal with, especially a girl who's only just turned 15.

Reportedly, the Brown family is filming Season 8 in Colorado.

We don't know how much they've filmed -- possibly just a promo or two -- but filming a reality

series is no joke.

Oh, and with Rain's Instagram account having reached over 45,000 followers in just a few

months, she's dealing with a lot of social media pressures as both a teenage girl and

her family's de facto spokesperson.

It's through social media that some people decided to give her a hard time by grilling

her about her sexuality.

Folks, straight-up asking somebody their sexual orientation is fine sometimes, awkward at

other times, and sexual harassment in other contexts.

When total strangers are asking a 15-year-old girl her sexual orientation, that's seriously

crossing some boundaries.

Apparently, Rain's short hair, or perhaps the fact that she calls her fans "rainbows,"

or perhaps her recent message about equality, led some fans to wonder about her sexuality,

which is no one's business by Rain's.

We don't know if they expected Rain to answer, but she did.

Rain shared an optimistic post, as she often does, and a fan straight-up commented:

"Are you gay?"

Though we'd have absolutely understood if Rain had ignored the comment, she decided

to reply with a very direct answer:

"No, I'm straight."

Rain didn't stop there, though.

"And I call my fans rainbows because my name is Rain, but you do you boo."

She added to that a kissy face emoji.

Some people would add that as an insult, but coming from Rain, we think that it's to show

that there are no hard feelings over the question.

The True Meaning of Christmas - Duration: 4:53.

(gentle piano)

- [Narrator] As the night drew to a close

Grant was very, very down.

Jack Frost was closing in

and he had yet to crack the Christmas code.

- Whoa! Whoa!

Too much nog!

Ugh! Grant, what's wrong?

- I've been trying all day and I still haven't

figured out the true meaning of Christmas.

- I have a tip for you.

Christmas starts with a C, right?

So does the word, corporation.

- Ugh. Exhausting.

Grant, it's simple.

We're spending time together

taking time for other people.

That's what Christmas is all about.

- Really?

I guess you're right.

Thanks, Trap.

- Any time, Grant.

Now, let's figure out how to pay

for this bar we reserved, right?

There's only six of us

so it's gonna be pretty expensive.

- Aww, dang! I got a flight to catch!

- You going back to Chicago, Raph?

- Yeah, the whole family is headed back home.

- Wow. You know, families coming together

from wherever they are.

That's the true meaning of Christmas.

- [Raph] Yeah! - Families.

- What?

- Hmm? Family, Grant. Family.

This isn't hard.

It's when people come together no matter--

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

A second ago you said that telling people you love them

was the true meaning of Christmas.

- Families come in all shapes and sizes, Grant.

- Totally.

- I think that might be the true meaning of Christmas.

- Yes! - Yeah.

- I couldn't agree more.

- In what sense?

How is "families come in all shapes and sizes"

the true meaning of Christmas?

- Christmas is about

love, and giving, and family, and hope.

- That's just a list of nice things.

Not every nice thing is a Christmas thing.

- Well, Grant, if you think about it,

aren't lists the true meaning of Christmas?

- Yes!

- All different things coming together

onto one page.

- Trap, I swear to God.

- The Twelve Days of Christmas, checking it twice.

- Stop it!

- Grant, calm down, have some hot cocoa

or a mint or some turkey or a cookie.

- Oh! All my Christmas favorites!

- Cookies?

Just vaguely cookies are your Christmas favorite?

- It doesn't matter what people eat on Christmas.

What's important is that they get full.

- Yes!

- Like a hug from the inside.

God, that's what Christmas is all about, isn't it?

- Is it just that winter sucks?

Like, you're cold so you have to dress things up

in Christmas colors?

- Red! - Green!

- Green! - Red!

- It's about giving.

- That's the true meaning.

- And family.

- That's the true-- - And hope.

- That's-- - And love.

- That's the true meaning of Christmas.

- But most of all

it's about the big guy.

- Santa! - Jesus!

- Right!

- Jesus! - Santa!

- Oh!

- Santa! - Jesus!

- This is exactly what I'm talking about!

Frosted Flakes has one mascot!

Christmas has bad branding!

- You're telling me.

- Jesus?

- That's right!

I'm Jesus Christ.

- Wow.

Why would Jesus Christ bartend a holiday party

with a bunch of comedy writers?

- Tips, baby.

- Oh.

- Grant, a lot of people are confused

about the true meaning of Christmas.

- Really?

- Really.

But the truth is, it's all about the story of one man.

Jack Frost.

- What?

- Jack Frost.

He covers the world with snow

and brings the smell of wood smoke

to one and all.

- You mean like, that Old Man Winter guy?

- No. Old Man Winter is someone else.

Jack Frost is his own man.

- Huh.

- Huh. That's--

- What?

- That's dumb.

- I think we're just a little surprised.

Jack Frost is like a minor character

in the Christmas pantheon.

- Yes.

Why would a character that I've barely

fucking heard of be the true meaning of Christmas?

It's fucking bananas!

- Is it?

A moment ago you were fighting with everyone.

Now look. Perfect agreement.

- Huh.

- That's Jack Frost

working his wintry magic to bring people closer together.

- Wow. I guess you're right.

- Hey, Grant.

Merry Christmas.

- Merry Christmas, Jesus.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

- Merry Christmas! - Merry Christmas.

- Merry Christmas. - Merry Christmas!

- [Narrator] From all of us here at College Humor,

Happy Holidays!

And remember what I always say...

Keep it cold.

(maniacal laughter)

That's right! It was me, Jack Frost,

the whole series!

Groove Rider GR-16: new groovebox for iPad and iPhone - Duration: 6:35.

Hello everyone! In this video I'm going to talk about a really cool new music app for iPad and iPhone.

It's the Groove Rider GR-16, a groovebox from the same developer of Poison-202.

The idea of a groovebox is to be an instrument with everything you need to make music with ease and agility.

Usually grooveboxes arrive with drum kits, instrument samples and built-in synths.

They offer multi-track sequencer and you can combine sounds by creating looping musical ideas, known as patterns.

From there, you simply combine and edit the patterns to create songs and live performances, creatively using the various controls available on the panel.

Thinking about hardware, in history we have some very popular instrument lines, such as the Roland MC, the Akai MPC and the Korg Electribe.

There are some groovebox style apps on iOS. But what Groove Rider brings back is hardware-like thinking: fewer menus and more action!

Almost everything you need is on the same screen!

In Groove Rider, a pattern has 16 tracks, which we call parts, and each of them can work as a drum kit, sample player with PCM instruments, or synthesizer.

In fact, the synth engine is the same as the Poison-202, which sounds amazing!

The synth has 83 oscillator settings, combining different waveforms, multi-mode filter, envelopes and modulation.

The total polyphony is up to 32 notes. The sequencer is 16 steps, with a maximum of 4 measures.

The instruments can be monophonic or polyphonic, allowing you to play and record chords.

There is a large collection of effects. It is possible to use an exclusive effect by part, besides the auxiliary and master fx.

There are several patterns that already arrive with the app. However, in user memory it is possible to start a pattern from scratch at any time.

The pads can be used to play and record notes and chords, editing sequencer steps, and selecting different parts.

The notes can also be played and recorded with the XY pad, able to work with the arpeggiator that offers more than 30 rhythmic patterns.

Groove Rider GR 16 is compatible with Audiobus, Inter-App Audio and Ableton Link. For now there is no MIDI compatibility,

but it is already planned for the next update.

Finally, I would like to talk about some other really cool features! The first is the presence of the oscilloscope in the virtual display.

This is not usual in physical drum machines.

It is also very good to be able to record parameter automation.

While the recording mode is on, all movements performed on the knobs will be recorded, generating other excellent modulation possibilities.

The last tip is to use the Chain mode. Using it we can define if a pattern will call another one in the sequence, after a certain number of repetitions.

This enables you to play full songs.

If you like this video, be sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel!

The link to Groove Rider GR 16 is in the video description and in the video cards.

In the cards you can also find a video demonstrating several GR 16 pattens.

See you soon, bye!

Cathy Freeman's Iconic Sydney 2000 Athletics Suit | Fashion Behind the Games - Duration: 2:29.

Well, this is the year 2000.

Many things happened that year. Amazing things.

Unbelievable things.

Like this one:

The Y2K bug.

Yeah, that year.

Once again, the world thought that the end was near.

Really near.

It involved computers malfunctioning,

and a nerdy plot that freaks out a lot of people.

And, yep, you guessed it...

Nothing happened.

Boomer. Move on.

The important thing is having a plan.

Finally, later that same year,

we got the 2000 Olympic Games.

The place? The beautiful Sydney, Australia.

Take a look. This is the opening ceremony.

The woman carrying the Olympic torch

in front of more than 100,000 expecting fans

is Kathy Freeman...

an athlete and a symbol.

And this is the moment that is going to last forever...

But the most memorable thing about that night

was the runner,

and her amazing white suit.

But that is not all...

A few days later, Cathy Freeman caused controversy at the Games

in her stunning aerodynamic suit.

This is the moment that rocks the world.

And this is the suit.

A one-piece skinsuit in the colours of Australia,

with a hood framing her interesting face.

By that time, Cathy was one of the first athletes

to test the "swift suit".

The running suit Cathy Freeman wore in Sidney

has inspired an Australian-designed space suit,

which has made it all the way

to the International Space Station.

Now, back on Earth, we gain perspective

of what Freeman achieved that day

with that piece of garment.

She won the Gold Medal in the 400 metres event.

Clearly, a moment to remember.

David Beckham lookalike who blew £20k on surgery to look like idol warns - Duration: 3:33.

David Beckham lookalike who blew £20k on surgery to look like idol warns how obsession nearly killed him

A David Beckham fan who spent £20,000 on surgery to look like his idol said his obsession nearly killed him.

Jack Johnson spent years trying to be the spit of Goldenballs - despite having very few similarities - and his unsuccessful bid to mirror Becks drove him to a suicide bid.

He is now reversing his medical work and speaking out to warn others not to follow in his path.

"I tried to take my own life because trying to look like Beckham is a full time job and is not easy," he said. "Trying to look like Beckham nearly killed me and I don't want others to make the same mistake.

In his bid to look like Beckham Jack, from Nottingham, had tan injections every month, as well as lip, chin and cheek fillers, botox injected into his forehead, and procedures for dental veneers.

The 21-year-old paid for the surgery using his Disability Living Allowance, by taking out loans and borrowing money from his brother.

He is now struggling to pay of debts of £14,000 and insists he has learned his lesson, while he has stopped having all forms of surgery.

Jack's story spiralled last year and he appeared in news outlets across 10 countries when details of his Beckham obsession emerged. As he became well recognised, clinics gave him liposuction, botox and lip fillers for free, he said.

"I'm not speaking out because I want notoriety or fame anymore - I'm genuinely doing this because I've come out the other side of it," he said.

"When I was on This Morning Holly or Phil asked me if I was happy. I told them I was but really I wasn't - I was in the worst place ever on the inside.".

Jack tried to kill himself four months ago by taking an overdose of tablets, to be found by a friend and taken to hospital.

He had sessions with a physchiatrist and he learned he suffers from body dysmorphia - a mental condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance.

"I obviously don't blame David Beckham, it's not his fault," said Jack. "I was trying desperately to look like him and it nearly cost me my life.

"I feel like I'm in the best place ever now - and I really don't want anybody to go through what I have.

"Nobody should ever aspire to look like celebrities to that extent, and I'm an example of that. You need to just be yourself.".
