Sweet Revenge!

President Trump Just Unleashes Revenge On Democrats, Chuck Schumer And Nancy Pelosi

Are Scared Stiff.

Back right around 10 years prior, Barack Hussein Obama was authoritarian to the Nth degree,

never wishing to address a Republican delegation and, truth be told, closing them out of closed-door

meetings on different events, much to the alarm of the Republicans in Congress.

When he lost the lion's share in Congress, regardless he figured out how to hone an isolation

from the Republicans by a duration of these strategies, the main prominent special case

being Speaker John Boehner, who has just as of late uncovered how he never talked in gleaming

terms about Obama basically in light of the fact that he would be seen by Conservatives

as the Devil incarnate.

Obviously, he was Obama's BFF on the fairway.

Is it any ponder that he at long last lost his capacity to lead?

Donald Trump is an alternate kind of president.

Above all else, he is a man who appreciates seeing harmony and comity and expectations

that all sides will meet up in a coordinated vision without bounds of this awesome nation.

After as of late welcoming the Democrat initiative to a meeting to air their grievances and talk

in candid terms, the donkey delegation rather selected to go out into the rotunda and address

columnists about how they were dismissing him.

Trump, ever the reality TV host, set up two purge seats for "Nancy and Chuck" and

afterward got them out for being truant!

On Tuesday, top Democrats on Capitol Hill canceled an important meeting at the very

last minute that they had scheduled with President Donald Trump.

Moments later, Trump unleashed a brutal reality check which the insolent liberals sorely needed.

SENATE MINORITY LEADER CHUCK SCHUMER AND HOUSE MINORITY LEADER NANCY PELOSI DECIDED AT THE

LAST MINUTE ON TUESDAY THAT THEY WOULD CANCEL A MEETING WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP ON TAX REFORM.

THEIR IMMATURE DECISION CAME AFTER TRUMP SENT OUT A TWEET EARLIER IN THE DAY WHICH HURT

THEIR FRAGILE FEELINGS.

"Meeting with 'Chuck and Nancy' today about keeping government open and working,"

Trump tweeted.

"Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak

on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes.

I don't see a deal!"

None of this was untrue, nor was it particularly rude or the least bit threatening.

On the contrary, the president simply took to social media to lay out the facts, as he

often does.

It is important that he continues to do so, as well, because the mainstream media has

refused to offer unbiased coverage of the Trump administration thus far.

Shortly after Trump sent out the aforementioned tweet, "Chuck and Nancy" canceled their

meeting at the last minute, citing the lamest of excuses.

"Given that the president doesn't see a deal between Democrats and the White House,

we believe the best path forward is to continue negotiating with our Republican counterparts

in Congress instead," the pair said in a joint statement.

President Trump responded by saying that he was "not really that surprised" over the

Democratic leaders' last minute cancellation, highlighting just how immature they really

are.

"Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi did not show up for our meeting today.

I'm not really that surprised.

We have a lot of differences," remarked Trump.

The president found another hilarious way to shame Pelosi and Schumer after their childish

move, as well.

He moved forward with his meeting, leaving a seat on either side of him empty where the

Democratic leaders would have been seated.

The contrasts between Barack Hussein Obama and Donald Trump are to be sure huge and glaring.

From one perspective, you had a man bowed on the decimation of an incredible country

who named its dominant part racists, its cops hooligans, and its enterprises cheat while

lauding offenders in Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and

the Muslim Brotherhood.

On the other, you have a man who is uniquely centered around Making America Great Again

through endeavors that will make us more secure, more gainful, more grounded, and having pride

in ourselves that has for some time been absent.

What do you think about this?

Why You Wouldn't Want to Fly The First Jet Airliner: De Havilland Comet Story - Duration: 10:00.

Some consider the period just before the jet age to be a golden era for air

travel. But flying aboard a piston powered propeller aircraft, well it

wasn't always glamorous. Flights took a lot longer than they do today and the

relentless noise and vibration from the piston engines; well it was exhausting.

And most aircraft couldn't fly high enough to avoid bad weather, so you'd be

in for a bumpy ride. And you'd better have your air sickness bag ready.

But then, seemingly out of nowhere in 1949, along came a new kind of

aircraft. It was sleek, quiet, and nearly twice as fast as some conventional

airliners. Cruising at 40,000 feet, it could avoid messy weather. This was the

de Havilland comet. It shattered conventional thinking and proved that

jet travel was the future. But the excitement would be short-lived because

within months things started to go seriously wrong. And the leap into the

jet age it wouldn't go as smoothly as hoped.

In the 1940's, the British set out to change civil aviation. In fact they

really had no choice. Because after the Second World War, American manufacturers

had the Civil Aviation market cornered. At one point, ninety percent of the world's

airline passengers were flying aboard these: American built Douglas DC-3's. The

Americans left the Second World War with a lot of experience designing and

building military transport aircraft. After the War, with their industry fully

intact, manufacturers could switch to producing civil aircraft based on their

military transport designs. But Britain on the other hand, had to rebuild. Much of

its focus during the war had been on building heavy bombers. So it now needed

to develop the infrastructure and the expertise to compete in the civil

aviation market. If the British were going to become leaders in aerospace,

they had better come up with something extraordinary. But a jet powered airliner,

that was dismissed by a lot of people. The conventional thinking of the day

amongst manufacturers and airlines was that jet engines produce too little

power relative to their fuel consumption, and they were just too unreliable for

civil aviation. But at the same time piston engines were approaching their

limits. To squeeze out ever more power, they had grown large and complex with

superchargers and dozens of cylinders. This made piston powered propeller

engines increasingly expensive to maintain. And you can only spin a

propeller so fast before its efficiency starts to diminish. As part of a larger

effort to develop Britain's post-war aviation industry, the de Havilland

Aircraft Company was awarded the task of building the world's first jet-powered

airliner. The aircraft, which would later be

named the Comet, was developed in secrecy. In fact, untenable designs were

deliberately used to confuse competitors. So when the comet was revealed just

three years later in the summer of 1949, it stunned the world.

Its sleek lines, swept wings, and for integrated turbojet engines, well they

were straight out of the future. Even today, a lot of this aircraft looks

pretty modern. So you can only imagine the impression it would have left on the

flying public in 1952. The comet sent a powerful signal to the

world about Britain's newfound superiority in aerospace. Orders poured

in, and even in America where airlines were still skeptical of jets, Pan Am

placed orders for a larger lengthened version. The Comet was revolutionary

because it had solved a key barrier to efficient jet travel. While turbojets

consumed enormous amounts of fuel at lower altitudes, where most planes of the

year a flew, the Comet would instead cruise at an unprecedented 40,000 feet. Where the air is thin and there's less drag.

Allowing the Comet to consume much less fuel. But to allow its passengers to breathe at such high altitude, the cabin

needed to be pressurized. And while the Comet wasn't the first airliner to

have a pressurized cabin, no other flew so high. The Comet went into service in

1952 and immediately began breaking travel time records. And in doing so, it

became a point of national pride for the British public. But here's the thing, in

some ways, the comet was a little too ahead of its time. With such a clean

sheet design, there were suddenly so many new variables to work with. There were

numerous problems with its electrical and hydraulic systems. But when two

Comets skidded off the runway in 1952 and 53,

the pilots were blamed. It was suspected that they were still flying the Comet as

if it were a piston powered airliner. Over rotating the aircraft on takeoff. It

was later determined that a design change of the leading edge of the

comet's wing was needed. But public confidence in the comet had not been

shaken. and the British remained enthusiastic about jet-powered air

travel. But then, just two months later, another incident. This time far more

catastrophic. A Comet leaving Calcutta ominously disintegrated while flying

through a severe thunderstorm. And only eight months later, another Comet

exploded shortly after taking off from Rome. After these rapid succession of

incidents, BOAC, the airline with the most Comets in service had no

choice but to ground their fleet. The focus shifted to a suspected turbine

explosion in one of the engines. So the engine housing on the other Comets was

reinforced. But public confidence still remained high and when the Comet

re-entered service. Airlines had no trouble selling seats. Yet just three

months later, another comet disintegrated over the Mediterranean. Now the entire

worldwide fleet of comets had to be grounded as their Certificate of

Airworthiness was revoked, An unprecedentedly large investigation

began. And it would reveal that sudden catastrophic depressurization of the

Comet's cabin was to blame, essentially causing comets to suddenly explode apart

in midair. See, the Comets cycles of pressurization and depressurization were

faster than those of any other aircraft. After many cycles, the fuselage began to

fatigue and cracks started to form. Especially around the Comets square

windows, where hard edged corners concentrated stress forces. The entire

comet fleet was grounded for years while the investigation lumbered forward.

But in the end, none of the grounded planes would ever fly again.

And while de Havilland worked to modify its design, switching to round windows

and increasing fuselage thickness, the rest of the world was catching up.

Aircraft manufacturers from around the world introduced their own jet-powered

offerings. And in 1958, the Boeing 707 entered service and Douglas began

producing the DC-8. That same year the, de Havilland Comet 4 entered service. But it

couldn't compete with the American offerings, which were now larger, faster

and more efficient. Only 76 Comet 4's were ever delivered to Airlines. That

compares to over 500 DC-8's and over a thousand 707's America's stranglehold on

the civil aviation market would only grow tighter in the coming decades.

According to de Havilland's chief test pilot, Boeing and Douglas both privately

admitted that they had learned from the Comets pressurization problems. And if it

were not for the Comet, they could have made the same mistakes. The later, larger

and improved Comets would reliably serve airlines

into the 60's and 70's. The Comet last flew commercial passengers in 1980. But

there's no question that the Comet paved the way. The British had taken a massive

risk and brought the world into the Jet Age.

A lot of people ask how I put together these videos. So I'd like to share with

you some insights and to plug our sponsor SkillShare. SkillShare is an

amazing online learning community with over 17,000 courses covering just about

anything you can think of, from video production to how to start and grow a

YouTube channel. It's easy to assume that to create impressive visuals you need to

first become an expert in one single piece of software, like Adobe After

Effects. Of course that helps, but personally I think for someone just

starting out, a better approach is to instead learn the basics of a few

different tools, so you can get right down to creating. I used several pieces

of software to make this video, and I'm not an expert in any of them. But I know

the strengths of each tool, and when I want to learn something new,

I often rely on video tutorials. And SkillShare is an excellent resource. You

can get started with introductory courses like learning the in's and out's

of Illustrator, or you can learn advanced techniques like how to use a 3D camera

in After Effects. With such a huge selection of courses on offer, you don't

need to waste your time and energy searching for instructions hidden

somewhere on some message, board blog post, or YouTube video. The first 300

Where I'm from, when we lose, we hit people

McDonald's® | Holiday Pie 2017 Review! ❄️🎄🎁 - Duration: 4:47.

peep this out guys it's Ian K back again with another one for ya cheaters

cam style headed into good old mickey d's for a little pre-holiday holiday pie

and something nice and warm to wash it down with yesir it's definitely

feeling a lot more like Christmas with the weather being just a little bit more

frostier than usual so let's hit that drive-thru and set ourselves up yeah

peep this out just a couple of things could I go for one of the holiday pies

and one medium coffee with three cream and three Splenda inside and that's it

beautiful thanks so quick question how do you guys feel about McDonald's coffee

compared to like say Starbucks drop those comments down below let me know

what you guys think which do you like better cuz personally for me I'm

definitely down with Mickey D's hey my friend how you doing

yes but before that I've got a code from the app actually you got it oh

yeah yeah it's a punch card code that's it it'll be free next time for sure

that's always a good thing how you doing good my friend good it's the good stuff

right there thanks so much have a good one

alright guys we're getting festive up at McDonald's late night let's peep this

out

well the box says it's filled with every bit of flavor it could hold and in this

case it's the 2017 edition of the holiday pie here at mcdonald's feast

your eyes on this one guys what you're looking at is a sugar cookie crust

that's surrounding vanilla custard then it's glazed up nicely and topped off

with rainbow confetti and I got to say it sure does look pretty festive can we

crack this one in the middle and give you guys the first look or as close to

the middle as I can get it here of what that looks like there pretty decent

amount of filling you can see the crust from the top on the bottom it actually

looks really really inviting a nice almost yellow type of vanilla cream on

the inside of this one guys and I got to say it definitely smells very very sweet

as you'd expect it to given what it is so let's not waste any more time on this

one it's the holiday pie for 2017 here at McDonald's let's peep out this flavor

yeah it definitely smells like a straight-up sugar cookie let's hit it

hmm and a rich and buttery one at that guys the sugar cookie crust has a very

nice wholesome cookie flavor and I have to say it does kind of overtake the

flavor of the vanilla custard itself is just kind of mild in the background and

then you get a little bit of the glaze on the back end but it's a nice pastry

and I have to say I think it's gonna go very nicely with a sip of some McCafe

coffee hang on mmm absolutely tasty and know this video is not sponsored

I definitely love my McCafe coffee though I'm gonna tell you right now very

very tasty stuff but this really is pretty tasty guys and it really is

suited for the season with that holiday confetti on top it sure presents well

the only thing though like I said the vanilla itself is not really kind of

popping as much as it could there's more crust than anything else in this and

that's a good thing if you like that especially with the sugar cookie that

they're going for here because that definitely pops nicely I just wish it

didn't overpower everything on the inside of this here because I really

want to taste more of that vanilla custard but it is good don't get me

wrong I just wish it was packed with just a little bit more of that custard

here's another quick shot of that cross-section or from this angle it sure

looks like it's got a lot more vanilla custard in the middle than say the

pumpkin and creme pie that I reviewed a couple of months back I'll make sure to

link to that one in the upper right hand corner of your display and while it

definitely has a lot more filling in it than that one did I just wish it was a

little bit more evenly balanced flavor wise but the sugar cookie crust is

awesome on this one don't get me wrong I just need to have a little bit more

vanilla but naturally that's just my opinion after all because this is the

first time I'm having the holiday pie here McDonald's so if any of you guys

have had in the past drop us comments down below

let me know what you guys think of the overall flavor of this one along with if

you think this can actually hold a candle to the apple pie here at

McDonald's because as far as I'm concerned that is absolutely king and as

for my overall score based upon my first experience with the holiday pie here

McDonald's I'm gonna have to give this one just an OK

7.5 out of 10

while the sugar cookie crust itself has a very rich baked buttery flavor I

just wish it'd combo just a little bit better with that vanilla custard itself

the flavor of the vanilla is muted just enough where I think it's the glaze

itself that's supposed to pick up a little bit of the slack because it does

come up nicely on the backend with the vanilla and then everything kind of

blends together but again it really is the sugar cookie crust that does it and

if you like that you're definitely gonna like this and most of my thoughts on the

latest holiday treat here at McDonald's after hours cheaters camp style we

close out another episode of peep this out guys and like I always say I've

got brand new content every single week here on my channel so while you stay

tuned for that next review coming real soon in the meantime stay frosty and

here I was thinkin' that the box this one came in was gonna be just a little

bit more festive compared to the generic pie stamped boxes that they use with their

regular pies I mean this is a holiday pie after all shouldn't it have a holiday

box but hey what are you gonna do alright guys until next time I'll talk

to you soon

🔸 Are the Duggars Preparing for Her to Get Married?🔵Jana Duggar - Duration: 4:17.

Jana Duggar isn't quite the black sheep of the Duggar family, but she's 27 years old

and still not married. That makes her unique among the Duggars' adult daughters.

But some wonder if that's about to change, and not just because she appears to be in

a courtship with Caleb Williams .

The Duggars keep posting photos of her and referring to her as "precious." Are Jim Bob

and Michelle preparing for their eldest daughter to finally leave the nest?

Thanks to some eagle-eyed cyber-sleuth fans of the Duggars who can look past a photo of

oranges and recognize furnishing at a glance, it's all but confirmed that Jana Duggar and

Caleb Williams are in a courtship.

Now, Caleb is one of four different men with whom Jana has been linked in 2017.

(And by "linked," we mean that people have considered the possibility that Jana and these

men have had platonic conversations while being supervised)

Caleb Williams has been spending one-on-one time with Jim Bob Duggar , leading many to

believe that he's trying to earn Jana's father's approval.

At least, many people struggle to think of why anyone with a choice in the matter would

be spending time around the Duggar family patriarch unless they are courting one of

his daughters with the possible intention of marrying her.

But there's more to these questions about Jana's possible impending matrimony than just

that she seems to be cozying up to Caleb.

The Duggars recently posted this throwback photo of Jana with Josie.

The picture of the family's eldest and youngest daughter in a restaurant is from a few years

ago (Josie is now 7 years old!).

The caption, on the Duggars' official Facebook page, reads:

"A couple years ago with sweet sisters! These girls are precious to me!"

Followed, of course, by a bubblegum pink heart emoji.

On its own, it's just a throwback pic of two bookends of the Duggar daughters.

But since the Duggars have been posting other photos of Jana in particular (among their

ever-growing brood of children and grandchildren), we have to ask if there's more to this.

When we think of Jim Bob and Michelle, we think of a lot , and none of it involves being

sentimental or caring.

But, in their own very disturbed way, they are very attached to their children.

Maybe this is their way of showing that they're feeling sentimental about Jana quite possibly

preparing to, finally, get married.

(In real life, nobody has to get married and 27 is a perfectly reasonable time to be single.

In the topsy-turvy world of the Duggarverse, Jana's practically an old maid)

After all, Jana has been a staple of the household for nearly three decades. Having a family

member "suddenly" depart after what's bound to be a short engagement can be quite an adjustment.

Of course, if Jana and Caleb are courting and considering marriage, then she's singing

a different tune than she was earlier this year.

Previously, Jana Duggar told TLC's cameras:

"There have been different guys come along and ask, but they haven't been the right

one."

That's a normal experience for most people.

"It's just one of those things. I'm not just out to get married to the first one who

comes along."

That's a good way to operate. We'd point out, as many fans have, that her adult sisters

haven't seemed to be nearly so picky.

To many fans, it appears that Jana's siblings did indeed get married to the first ones who

came along .

There's nothing wrong with making your choices carefully, but we wonder what -- if anything

-- makes Caleb Williams stand out above all of the rest.

We'd ask Jana but, of course, since she isn't married, she's not allowed to be on social

media.

She was born in 1990, folks.

【#011】日本語レッスン1 挨拶①~Japanese Lesson No.1 Greeting①~※with English subtitles - Duration: 5:09.

Hey guys! It's Misaki!

Today I'm going to talk about how to greet in Japanese.

I did a survey a while ago on Twitter about "What kinds of things do you want to know from my videos?".

I didn't expect that around half of the 200 voters chose 'Japanese language'.

So I will upload my videos about Japanese cultures continuously and share some useful phrases and tips on Japanese language.

Since this is the first video about Japanese language, I'm going to introduce how to greet in Japanese.

Japanese has three types of the greetings, depending on the time when you greet. I think it is the same thing as many other languages.

In the morning, when you see someone who are older or senior to you at work or at school, you will say "Ohayou gozaimasu". It means 'Good morning' in English.

When you see your friends, you can omit the "Gozaimasu". So it will be "Ohayou".

So when you greet your family, friends and people younger than you, you can just say "Ohayou".

Next, greeting in the afternoon.

It is "konnichiwa". Unlike "Ohayou Gozaimasu", you can say "Konnichiwa" to everybody.

Lastly, greeting at night.

It is "konbanwa". As with "Konnichiwa", you can say "Konbanwa" to everybody.

That's all! Let's review!

"Ohayou gozaimasu." in English "Good morning."

"Konnichiwa." in English "Good afternoon."

"Konbanwa." in English "Good evening."

Remember these three!

Actually, we often use "Ohayou", but we don't often use "Konnichiwa" and "Konbanwa" to our friends.

Instead, we often use "Otsukaresama" as another way of greeting to our friends.

When we say "Otsukaresama" to our colleagues at work, it means "good job", "thanks for your hard work" and "keep up the hard work".

So we don't use "Konnichiwa" and "Konbanwa" at work.

In the morning, we say "Ohayou gozaimasu" to our colleagues, but more often we use "Otsukaresama".

Plus, in English, people sometimes say greetings like "How are you?" or "How's it going?", but in Japanese we don't often say "Genki desuka?" to other people.

You can say "Genki?" or "Saikin dou?" when you haven't seen your friends for a long time, but compared with English, we don't ask every time when we see someone.

Of course, you can ask "How are you?" in Japanese, but we don't have that culture.

I've talked about some basic Japanese greetings today.

In the next lesson video, I'll tell you some more about Japanese greetings.

Don't forget to give me a Like if you think today's video was fun and useful!

I'll make some more lesson videos for Japanese learners, and also make videos about Japan and Japanese culture.

If you like my channel, please subscribe it!

That's me for today. See you soon in the next video!

Thank you so much for watching!

Episode 1122 | The Line: Should Elected Officials Convicted Of Felony Retain Their Pensions? - Duration: 8:21.

>> WE ARE BACK HERE AT THE LINE.

IN MID NOVEMBER, FORMER STATE SENATOR PHIL GRIEGO WAS

CONVICTED OF SEVERAL CHARGES FROM THE TIME HE HELD PUBLIC

OFFICE.

WHEN HE IS SENTENCED IN MID FEBRUARY, HE FACES FINES, AND

UP TO 17-AND-A-HALF YEARS IN PRISON.

ATTORNEY GENERAL HECTOR BALDERAS IS ASKING A DISTRICT

JUDGE FOR ENHANCED SENTENCE THAT WOULD ALSO STRIP

MR.

GRIEGO OF HIS LEGISLATIVE PENSION WHICH IS MORE THAN

$1300 A MONTH.

TOM GARRITY THIS KICKED UP SOMETHING THAT IS AN

INTERESTING EDITORIAL IN THE JOURNAL ABOUT THIS.

WE'RE PAYING A TON OF MONEY TO CONVICTED FELONS WHO ARE

FORMER STATE LEGISLATORS WHO HAVE THEIR PENSIONS STILL

INTACT.

FUNDAMENTAL FIRST QUESTION IS SHOULD WE NOT BE PAYING THESE

FOLKS ANYTHING AFTER THEY HAVE A CONVICTION?

>> AT LEAST REALLOCATE IT TO THE STATE CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM.

>> THAT IS A THOUGHT.

>> THEY ARE GOING TO BE SERVING TIME IN SOME FORM OR

FASHION, WHY NOT HAVE SOME OF THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS OR THEIR

ENTITLEMENT USED TO HELP PAY FOR CORRECTIONAL TIME.

>> THAT IS A THOUGHT.

WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THAT?

>> TOM IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ON THIS.

>> I DISAGREE.

I THINK THE PENSION IS SOMETHING THAT IS RELEVANT --

I MEAN, IT IS CONNECT TO THE TIME AND SERVICE.

YOU KNOW.

IN THE CASE OF PHIL GRIEGO, THERE HAS BEEN A TRIAL, A

CONVICTION, BUT THAT WAS A SPECIFIC TIME PERIOD, A

SPECIFIC VOTE.

THERE WAS ALSO MANY YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND THAT IS

WHAT THEY SIGN UP WITH, NOT GETTING PAID A SALARY.

THAT IS SORT OF WHAT THEY GET IN OLD AGE.

TO ME, REMOVING SOMEONE'S PENSION, LIKE IF THEY DIDN'T

DO IT TO OJ, THEY DIDN'T TAKE AWAY HIS NFL PENSION, AND HE

HAS BEEN IN JAIL -- >> HE IS NOT AN ELECTED

OFFICIAL FOUND GUILTY OF USING HIS POWER AND POSITION.

>> NEVERTHELESS, I STILL THINK THESE PEOPLE HAVE SERVED FOR A

LONG TIME AND THERE IS A PENSION.

>> THERE IS A LINE THERE BETWEEN THEIR PREVIOUS SERVICE

AND PERHAPS WHEN THESE ACTS TOOK PLACE AND EVERYTHING

AFTER THAT, PERHAPS.

>> THERE IS A TIME PERIOD THAT WAS SPECIFIC TO WHATEVER ACT

OCCURRED.

I DON'T KNOW SPECIFICALLY WHAT THE TIME FRAME WAS FOR PHIL

GRIEGO.

IT WAS RELATED TO THE PARTICULAR VOTE AND THE

TRANSACTION.

THERE WERE MANY YEARS HE SERVED AND DID A LOT OF GOOD

WORK FOR THE STATE AS DID SOME OF THE OTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN

CONVICTED AS HAVE OTHER PEOPLE IN OTHER STATES.

THEIR TIME HAVING SPENT THAT IS WHAT THEY RECEIVE AND IT IS

ALMOST A CONTRACTUAL NATURE IS THAT PENSION.

TO REMOVE IT, COMPLETELY, I DON'T THINK IT CORRECT.

I THINK IT IS INTERESTING THIS IDEA OF REALLOCATING IT,

BECAUSE THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF FUNDING FOR THE CORRECTIONAL

FACILITIES, IN GENERAL, BUT I THINK REMOVING IT ALTOGETHER

IS NOT THE ANSWER.

>> GOOD POINT THERE.

DIANA DURAN, SHE IS GETTING SOMEWHERE NEAR 50 PLUS

THOUSAND, 58,000 A YEAR IN PENSION, EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD

HER TROUBLES AND HER CONVICTION AS WELL.

I JUST FIND THIS GALLING.

58 GRAND WILL CARRY YOU A LONG WAY IN NEW MEXICO.

IS ALL THAT MONEY GONE, YOU KNOW?

>> I THINK LAURA BRINGS UP AN INTERESTING POINT.

SPECIFICALLY I WAS GOING TO BRING UP WITH DIANA DURAN, A

LOT OF HER MONEY COMES FROM JUST BEING A STATE EMPLOYEE,

NOT AN ELECTED OFFICIAL.

SHE WAS PUTTING INTO HER PENSION AS A STATE EMPLOYEE

BEFORE SHE WAS EVEN ELECTED AND THEN EVEN BEFORE SHE WAS

KIND OF FOUND GUILTY OF SOME OF THESE THINGS BUT I DO THINK

THAT IT IS A HARD SELL TO THE PUBLIC TO SAY, THIS PERSON --

LET'S SAY, SOMEBODY MESSED AROUND WITH STATE MONEY.

IT IS HARD TO SELL THAT TO CITIZENS AND SAY, THEY ALSO

GET TO KEEP YOUR TAX DOLLARS AS AN ELECTED PENSION, BUT

THERE IS A GRAY AREA OF BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY DID WHATEVER

THEY WERE ACCUSED OF OR BEFORE ELECTED.

>> TAXPAYER KICKS IN $43 FOR EVERY DOLLAR THE ELECTED

PERSON KICKED INTO THE PENSION FUND.

>> SHOULD THE TAXPAYER HAVE A SAY IN THIS?

THAT IS THEIR MONEY.

>> TAXPAYERS ALREADY HAVE A SAY IN THIS.

THE REASON THE STATE PASSED A LAW IN 2012, SAYING WE WOULD

ASSESS LEGISLATORS FRINGE BENEFITS AND TAKE THEM BACK IF

THEY GOT IN TROUBLE, THAT LAW PASSED BECAUSE OF THE WHOLE

THING THAT HAPPENED WITH MANNY ARAGON.

HE WAS IN FEDERAL PRISON.

HE SERVED FOUR YEARS IN PRISON.

I THINK THAT SCALE OF WHAT HAPPENED WITH HIM IS VERY

DIFFERENT AND YOU TWO BROUGHT THAT UP IN SOME WAY BUT PHIL

GRIEGO'S SORT OF GAIN FROM THE CRIME HE HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF

WAS $50,000 IN REAL ESTATE COMMISSIONS, WHEREAS MANNY

ARAGON WAS ASSESSED WITH 1.2 MILLION TO PAY BACK IN

RESTITUTION, BUT SOMETHING LIKE FOUR MILLION WENT MISSING

FROM THAT PROJECT.

SO, I THINK THE LAW PASSED AFTER SOMETHING REALLY

EGREGIOUS TOOK PLACE AND THEN APPARENTLY HECTOR BALDERAS IS

SAYING THE LAW IS REALLY NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO JUST REVOKE

PHIL GRIEGO'S PENSION.

THAT IS WHY HE HAS TO ASK THE JUDGE FOR THIS ENHANCEMENT.

YOU LOOK AT A 69 YEAR OLD MAN WHO IS FACING 17 YEARS IN

JAIL, I AM NOT SURE HOW MUCH MORE ENHANCED WE NEED TO GET

THERE.

ALTHOUGH, I ALSO FEEL IT IS TROUBLING WHEN SOMEONE IS

CONVICTED OF A CRIME RELATED TO PUBLIC SERVICE AND YET THEY

ARE STILL BEING PAID FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE.

>> ALSO COST OF LIVING RAISES LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, WHO IS

STILL WORKING IN THE LEGISLATURE WHO DIDN'T BREAK

THE LAW.

TOM, AGAIN IT IS IN A PAR WITH EVERYBODY ELSE.

SHOULDN'T WE SEE A DIFFERENCE THERE?

>> I BELIEVE, IF YOU ABUSE YOUR POWER AND POSITION IN

OFFICE, THERE IS A SEPARATE SET OF RULES.

YOU KNOW.

I RESPECT WHAT LAURA HAS SAID AS FAR AS SENATOR GRIEGO HAS

DONE A LOT OF GREAT THINGS FOR THE STATE BUT WHEN IT CAME

DOWN TO HIS FINAL ACT, IT DID NOT BODE WELL BECAUSE HE WAS

FOUND GUILTY BY A JURY OF HIS PEERS.

THE WAY THAT WORKS IS, HE ABUSED THAT POSITION AND AS A

RESULT, I THINK, YOU DON'T GET TO KEEP THAT MONEY, OR AT

LEAST IT NEEDS TO BE REALLOCATED.

THE SCALE IS DIFFERENT AS JULIE ANN MENTIONED WITH

RESPECT TO MANNY ARAGON AND EVEN DIANA DURAN, OUR STATE

TREASURE, YOU KNOW, I MEAN -- >> GETTING FOUR GRAND A MONTH,

MR.

VIGIL IS GETTING 45 HUNDRED A MONTH.

>> IT IS SAD WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT THIS TYPE OF A CULTURE

OF CORRECTION.

I MEAN, THERE ARE EXCELLENT LEGISLATORS AND PUBLIC

SERVANTS WHO ARE ALL BROUGHT DOWN BY THE ACTIONS OF A FEW.

ACTIONS OF THE FEW, THEY NEED TO BE MADE AN EXAMPLE OF TO

SAY, YOU KNOW WHAT, THIS IS NOT ACCEPTED BY OUR STATE-WIDE

ELECTED OFFICIALS.

>> IN 30 SECONDS, DOES THIS SERVE AS A DETERRENT TO THAT

BAD BEHAVIOR, IF YOU LOSE YOUR PENSION?

FOLKS HAVE THE RIGHT TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES, INCLUDING

THEIR FINANCIAL LIVES, BUT SHOULD THAT HAPPEN ON THE

BACKS OF THE TAXPAYER?

>> IF IT WERE SOMETHING THAT WERE CRAFTED APPROPRIATELY, IT

COULD BE A DETERRENT, IT COULD BE, AND PEOPLE MIGHT THINK

TWICE IF THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO LOSE THEIR

PENSION BUT YOU LOOK AT DIANA DURAN, SHE WORKED AS COUNTY

CLERK IN OTERO COUNTY FOR A LONG TIME AND THEN SHE WAS

STATE SENATOR FOR A LONG TIME.

ONE OF THE PROBLEMS IS WE HAVE A SYSTEM IN NEW MEXICO WHERE

LEGISLATORS AREN'T GETTING PAID.

SHE WAS PAID AS A COUNTY CLERK BUT THE LEGISLATORS AREN'T

PAID AT ALL.

THE ONLY THING THEY ARE GETTING IN TERMS OF

COMPENSATION IS THAT PENSION.

THEY ARE PAYING INTO THAT PENSION.

WHEN YOU SAY THE NUMBERS $43 FOR EVERY DOLLAR.

THEY ARE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY, THOUGH, AT THAT JOB.

SO, MAYBE IF THEY WERE ACTUALLY GETTING PAID AND THEY

HAD TO CONTRIBUTE, THEN THE MATH WOULD BE VERY DIFFERENT.

>> I AM GLAD YOU GOT THAT IN.

>> WE DID A STORY.

THE NIGHT OF THE PHIL GRIEGO VERDICT, I INTERVIEWED

REPRESENTATIVE JIM TRUJILLO.

WHO WAS TIED UP IN THAT CASE BECAUSE HE CARRIED THE BILL

THAT SOLD THE BUILDING.

BUT HE SAID SOMETHING VERY SIMILAR TO WHAT LAURA HAS BEEN

SAYING, THAT THE SERVICE THAT PHIL GRIEGO DID SHOULD NOT BE

IGNORED AND IF LEGISLATORS WERE PAID, HE SAID SOMETHING

LIKE, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING

SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

THAT WAS A CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT.

>> THERE IT IS.

A LOT FOLKS WOULD AGREE.

THANK YOU ALL.

GOOD STUFF ON A FRIDAY NIGHT.

Briter Products Gets Technical: Ion-Ready™ Battery State of Charge LCD Focus - Duration: 3:22.

Hi, my name is Gyasi and I am the engineering director here at Briter Products,

and I would like to introduce you to our Ion-Ready series of Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries.

Little bit about myself, I have a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

and I've been in the industry for five years.

Okay, so today we're going to take a closer look at the battery packs' LCD Display.

Starting over here, this value is a percentage of your remaining capacity of the battery.

So, on a full charge this will start off as 100% and as you're using it, percentage-wise it will decrease.

The next value is an Amp hour value, it shows you how many more amp hours, um,

It shows you how many more amp hours you have to go, in the battery's capacity.

So, it's just like the percentage meter but only in an amp hour reading.

Here, you have a time remaining, and this timer estimates how long it will take to deplete the power out of the battery.

So, based on your current and voltage it will estimate a time before this battery pack is at zero.

Over here is your working voltage.

What this means is, this is the current voltage at the terminals.

So, you take a meter and you measure at both positive and negative terminals on the top and it should read exactly what this is reading.

Right here, this value is your current. So, the amount of energy being drawn out of the battery, in amp hours, is displayed here.

And, this last value is your wattage. So, your wattage is based on these two values being multiplied,

and it will give you a total watt output that you're discharging from the battery.

And that is the LCD Display.

Now, here are several buttons and, these buttons are not meant to be used with the LCD display.

These buttons are for diagnostic purposes. So, those buttons are recessed below the top deck,

and they won't be pushed accidently, but these are service buttons.

Thank you
