Welcome to the gameplay demo walkthrough of CD PROJEKT RED's upcoming title: Cyberpunk 2077/// — a narrative-driven, open world RPG set in a dark version of the future.
Before we start, a small, but important disclaimer —the gameplay you're about to see is from a work-in-progress version of the game.
Everything you see is potentially subject to change.
In Cyberpunk 2077, you can fully customize your character using a deep customization system.
For this demo, we're going to play a female.
Keep in mind that what you see here is not final. We just want to give you a glimpse of what will be possible in the released game.
This is an RPG, so before we get into our appearance, we need to define our backstory.
What you choose here will unlock different possibilities later in the game.
Also, you can use an array of different options to modify how you look.
These include body type, hairstyle, tattoos, makeup, skin tone, and many more.
But visuals aren't everything — you'll also be able to customize your initial attribute setup.
You'll notice we didn't pick a class.
Cyberpunk 2077 features a fluid class-system, and you'll be able to modify your class throughout the game.
This demo takes place near the beginning of the game.
V and her friend Jackie, along with a Netrunner called T-Bug, are hired to find and retrieve a missing person — a girl whose locator implant went dark.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a first person role-playing game.
This perspective enables us to maximise your immersion.
It looks like these Scavengers are kidnapping people to harvest their implants.
OK, things are about to get heated.
We'll take a reflex booster that temporarily allows us to use the Kereznikov ability.
This is Kereznikov.
It turns out a virus disrupted the girl's locator implant.
We've fixed that and now help is inbound!
That was Trauma Team, a kind of high-end premium medical insurance.
We've delivered the target, and T-Bug has notified us that the Scavengers have called reinforcements.
Let's get out before they arrive.
Cyberpunk is a mature, visceral experience and as such, it will let you explore a variety of different interactions with the game world and as you just saw, its people.
The job was a success, and V obviously has some money to burn.
OK, Jackie has told us that he has some big news for us, and we have an appointment with our Ripperdoc today.
Before we leave, let's take a look around our apartment.
Good morning, Night City!
The song on the radio is sung by Rockerboy Johnny Silverhand.
It is part of our creative process to draw inspiration from the pen and paper system created by Mike Pondsmith, and to put our own 2077 spin on it.
Let's go grab our gear.
OK, we'll take V's trusty pistol here.
And we'll also grab our jacket.
Since Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG, the jacket not only provides us with protective stats like armor, but it also increases our Street Cred.
Street Cred is a form of experience the player acquires by completing side missions, it is used to unlock new vendors and content throughout Night City.
Alright, let's go meet Jackie.
V's current apartment is located inside a megabuilding, a huge building complex that forms a microsociety of its own.
In this timeline, technology and the world have evolved in some ways that seem familiar, but entirely surprising in other.
As an example: In this world, people pay with eddies, slang for euro-dollars.
We make sure to root every detail in the world's lore, so everything has its purpose and stays believable.
A big part of our RPG experience is having a world that is interactive.
Here, a generic ad has morphed into an advertisement specifically tailored for V, informing her of the nearest vendor she can purchase the product from.
In this case, it shows us where to find some Nicola Soda.
This is Wilson, one of Night City's many gunsmiths.
We won't be checking his wares today, but you can purchase and upgrade your weapons and gear throughout the city.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set in Night City, a bustling metropolis located on the coast of the Free State of North California.
It's a dystopian city where violence and oppression are the norm.
We're working hard to build Night City to be a fully realized, seamless open world with no loading screens.
Currently we are in Watson, a former industrial district, where crime now mixes with money.
We've greatly enhanced our crowd and community systems to create the most believable city in any open-world game to date.
The city's streets are bustling with crowds of people from all facets of life, all living their lives, with a full day and night cycle.
Ok, there's Jackie.
It turns out we've caught the attention of one of Night City's bigger players — Dexter Deshawn, a fixer, a person who gets things done.
He wants to meet up and discuss a job.
Let's see what he has for us.
It seems like Dexter has given us a test of sorts to see whether we are worthy.
He wants us to retrieve a piece of high-tech combat gear a local gang stole from the Militech megacorp.
We'll be able to approach this job from a variety of angles. Let's try calling the Militech contact to see where that leads.
The situation is tricky, because the contract giver is a corporate agent who seems high strung.
Before we get down to business, it's a great idea to visit our ripperdoc.
Crime is a common occurrence. Night City is not a safe place. Life here is not easy.
We're at a ripperdoc clinic. Ripperdocs are specialist vendors who offer people the possibility to install or upgrade their cyberware.
We're going to install both an optical scanner... and a subdermal weapon grip.
With the scanner we can zoom in on things and take a closer look.
Additionally, we can analyze objects, get details on enemy weak points or gang affiliation.
The subdermal weapon grip links to our scanner and shows us weapon information like ammo count and firemodes, and it increases the base damage on all connected weapons.
While some ripperdocs operate legally, others provide black market services.
For the right price, they even offer to install illegal military-grade cyberware.
This guy looks an awful lot like one of those scavengers we took out earlier...
Jackie's car is a superpowered sportscar running on CHOOH2, the superfuel of the future.
Players can explore Night City freely, in many different cars, on bikes and in other types of vehicles.
It looks like the scavengers from earlier are still angry at us!
I think we got rid of them.
That was intense.
Night City never sleeps.
Danger lurks around every corner, even during the daytime.
Random encounters like these are an example of how your actions directly influence your open world experience.
Okay, Jackie!
Many forces are fighting for control of Night City, but the megacorporations are the real showrunners.
The agent we're going to meet represents Militech, one of largest companies in the private military sector.
Since Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG, preparation will be key when dealing with Night City's powerful, especially when these are corpos.
Instead of just rushing in, let's assess the situation with our freshly installed Kiroshi Optical Scanner.
These guys are a higher level than we are. Let's try to approach them carefully.
The corpos have hacked us through our Personal Link and have subjected us to a kind of lie-detector program.
The dialogue system in Cyberpunk 2077 is fully gameplay-driven.
It might be tempting to reach for the gun, but the consequences could be dire. Remember, these guys are really tough.
The agent gave us the money to buy the bot we need from the gang.
By choosing to call the Militech agent earlier, we have now opened up a non-violent path to approach this quest.
Of course, we could try and keep the money, but that would mean we'd have to take the merchandise by force, which requires a lot of firepower.
Even now, we can choose how to approach this quest — do we go in guns blazing, or do we try to negotiate for the bot?
For this demo, let's try the more diplomatic approach.
The guys we're about to meet are dangerous.
They are members of the Maelstrom gang, and their obsession with body modification goes way beyond even this world's standards.
On their path to becoming machines, they don't shy away from even the most extreme measures.
It looks like they made this abandoned All-Foods Meat Factory their hideout. Charming.
Remember, we've chosen to buy the tech, not steal it. Hopefully, this will go fast and easy.
This is a pretty well-guarded place — you might imagine what would have happened had we used the violent option.
It turns out the credchip we got from the Militech agent contained a virus which fried their systems.
Royce, their leader, is making a break for it.
Before we figure out a way to leave, let's take the splinter that controls the bot from one of these dead Maelstromers.
The inspection system allows us to take a closer look at the splinter.
You can inspect specific items to reveal details that can help in solving quests.
OK, let's equip the splinter to our Chipware Slot.
With this done, the bot will now follow us everywhere we go.
All right, what else do we have here?
Nice, a street-modified tech shotgun.
Tech weapons fire rounds that shoot through walls and other types of cover.
They also have an alternate fire mode that allows you to power-up shots and deal more damage.
It looks like there's several ways out of this room, like those gates, for example.
However, you'd need to be a skilled netrunner to hack into this terminal.
Luckily, our Engineering skills should allow us to disassemble that maintenance panel so we can get through the door.
There are many skills in the game that players can apply in solving problems.
The Engineering skill can be used to fix, disassemble and disarm devices blocking your path.
So, from this point on we're going to unlock the abilities of a high-end character to showcase some of the different mechanics we have in the game.
One of the new weapon modules we now have installed is a ricochet targeting system connected to our eyes.
This allows players to bounce bullets off of walls and hit enemies hiding behind cover.
This is another targeting system that will reveal enemies behind walls.
Paired with the penetrating rounds of our tech shotgun, it's a deadly combination.
Looks like we found some loot! This is a smart gun.
It's one of the more advanced weapons in the game, allowing bullets to track and follow their target.
This is one of many different weapons players can aquire.
Weapons are built of modules that allow for deep customization and progression.
This way, you can be sure to find something that suits your playstyle.
Just a reminder — everything you've seen and are about to see, including this particular feature we're about to show you, is from a work-in-progress version of the game, and may change over the course of development.
OK, let's try something different.
We're going to take this guy down and connect directly to his neural socket.
In the world of Cyberpunk, once you are jacked into a network, you have access to everything it connects to.
Through the Maelstrom gang member, we've now connected to the gang hideout's internal network.
This is the building's Personnel System.
Let's focus on the squad containing the Maelstrom ganger we just connected to.
From here, we can deploy software that affects the whole squad.
For now, we'll simply unlock the ability to perform quickhacks.
All right, time to show off our new, high-level abilities.
With quickhacking, using the backdoor we unlocked a minute ago, we'll install a virus that jams the connection between the Maelstrom ganger and his weapon.
This will prevent him from firing.
Looks like he's having a problem, now.
Nice!
Some of you guys might recognize these mantis blades.
We can also double-jump and bounce off of walls, which makes us a very agile Fast Solo.
Sweet, we found a corporate tech rifle! Corpo weapons are top-of-the-line.
Let's scan this guy and see what's going on.
It looks like Royce is back and he's prepped.
He's got an armored exoskeleton, and we won't be able to get rid of him that easily.
Our weapons are not dealing a lot of damage, because he's packing an autonomous shield.
Luckily, the scan we did earlier revealed a weak spot.
Attacking it should help bring the shield down.
Shield's down. Let's finish him off.
OK, let's put him down and get this job over with.
That wasn't the smoothest job, but we've got the bot, and Dex should be happy.
But think back…
What would have happened if we hadn't met with the Militech agent?
Or told Royce about the agent and her plans?
Or just decided to buy the bot ourselves?
So many options, so many possibilities, and each will have consequences rippling through the game world and your story.
And that's just one quest.
Let's head out and finish this job.
OK, let's call Dex and tell him how things went down.
We finished the job, but our story is just beginning.
This concludes our gameplay demo walkthrough.
Thanks for watching!

Powerful Panel Discussion Tip #164 with Chip Bell: How You Prepare for Lively Panel Discussion - Duration: 2:05.
Chip, what do you do to prepare yourself for a lively panel discussion?
Well, I think crafting the right questions is one way.
I always like to write the questions out so I've got them.
I always like to have more questions than I'd need.
… One of things you want to do that I think
is important, is the more transparency you can demonstrate to the audience that you are
practicing, the more you're encouraging the panel to do likewise.
And so, having those questions, having them present, and you've obviously got those
questions and sometimes I've used them and sometimes I don't.
Sometimes I have them there but I take the question and it ends up going in a different
direction and fruitful and helpful and you go, "I didn't need any of those questions."
But it's always helpful.
It also signals to the audience that you have done your homework, that you are prepared,
it gives them confidence, it gives the panel confidence, so there is some merit in all
that.
The other thing I like to do as much as I can-here again, sometimes you don't have
this luxury- is you like to know a little bit about the panel.
So do you know a paragraph or two about their background: who they are, what they are.
So, the more you can personalize it, reference it, "Well, Joe, I know one of the things
you do is you're CEO of XYZ company and you've been challenged a little bit lately
with XYZ or whatever.
Tell us a little bit more about that."
So the more you can personalize, customize the questions to get somebody to start and
bring it out, then that here again, it gives them confidence in the audience.
So, I like to do that when I can but sometimes you're presented with a panel and you don't
have that background.

Test Simoniz Wheel Cleaner - Duration: 6:41.
Hello everyone and welcome to a new episode with Globalhot.
Today what we have? We will clean the rims on the trucks of my
father with a Simoniz products. So stayed connected to see the result
I show you the products in question and
the rims. It's been about 1 1/2 years, 2 years since that
was not washed so it's been a long time. Let's go. Excuse the wind noise
it's windy day today
Here is the product in question
a wheel cleaner. So we find that at Canadian Tire and the
rims as we see it is very black. So I install the camera and we start that.
To begin we take the products as we hear
not much left, so it's really for show you if it works well or not.
We take the products and put it to the rims simply. Let's do this.
We also put to the tire.
Let it work for 30 seconds, 1 minute. And here we let it act 30 seconds, 1 minutes and I'll get back to you.
So it makes 45 seconds, 1 minutes later, as we can see
much remains but that's normal you really agitate for it to go.
To shake it what are we doing? I will show you what I have here,
it is a bucket with a car wash products,
which is in this case the Turtle Wax Zip Wax, a basic car wash.
I'll show you my other instrument to wash all this.
This is another Simoniz products, it is a brush that cleans the rims
very well. So we agitate it with the car wash products,
then we clean that up.
So that's done, I have another brush for the tire this one is a brush
of dolorama simply, very hard not to rub on the rims because we can scratch it. as we can tell
We pass that on the tire.
The last step is just to water it with a garden hose,
so we water it and I move it from there.
As we can see now the result is really better than before.
I will put you the pictures before and after of the wheels. I will now show you the final result with the camera.
As we see it remain here, I rub but it's been too long.
There is also left there. But in general it's a lot better than it was.
Here as we see it is a kind of plastic that has been glued
on the wheel that gives this effect. Looking to simply take off.
As for this product, it still works very well, considering that it is still
long time. So it is a Products approved by Globalhot.
To finish if you have comments or suggestions to make me

Samsung Galaxy S10 - I've Got Some GOOD NEWS - Duration: 2:32.
By now you already know that Samsung is gonna launch three models of the Galaxy S10 next
year.
And the much-awaited in-display fingerprint sensor is also expected to debut with the
Galaxy S10.
Earlier reports had suggested that one of the differentiators between the high-end and
entry-level variants will be the fingerprint scanner, where the S10 and S10+ were reported
to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner while the the entry level Galaxy S10, will
have the scanner either on the side, or at the back.
But A fresh new report out of South Korea today tells a different story altogether.
A report from a very trustable source, the Investor claims that the in-display fingerprint
scanner will actually be present on all three Galaxy S10 variants.
The only difference would be the technology used for this implementation. The two high-end
models will reportedly have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner while the entry-level
model will get an optical fingerprint sensor.
So what's the difference you ask?
The Ultrasonic sensor is fast and most secure fingerprint sensor currently available in
the market.
Unlike existing optical in-display fingerprint sensor which depends on 2D mapping, Ultrasonic
fingerprint sensor register minute details in 3D and are thus very hard to fool.
But It's not like optical scanners are completely useless.
Multiple Chinese smartphone manufacturers have already released devices with this technology.
And they absolutely fine job.
It's considered to be three times cheaper than ultrasonic sensors which would explain
why Samsung may have decided to go with it for the cheaper Galaxy S10 model.
The report also adds that Galaxy S10 will be launched in February 2019, which coincides
with the annual Mobile World Congress tech show the expected launch event for the device.
The Galaxy S10 is Samsung's 10th anniversary phones for the series so expect them to do
something special with the devices next year and rest assured I'm gonna keep bringing you
the latest updates on these handsets so make sure to subscribe and also let me know what
do you think about this in the comments and I'll see you tomorrow...peace out!

You in my dreams, But I see
Got me falling under
I can't breathe, on my knees
That I'm sinking underneath
You in my dreams, But I see
I never know when you're coming home
I never know when you're coming home
I never know when you're coming home
Don't you know that I'm so Alone
You can't see me through the lows and highs
You can't tell all your friends you know me
I never know when you're coming home
Don't you know that I'm so Alone
You can't see me through your bloodshot eyes
So take back everything you told me
But you're never gonna change
Never gonna find a way
Waking up alone oh
I said I'd never cry but I keep
We can make a home
My heart is getting cold but I hope
I never know when you're coming home
I never know when you're coming home
I never know when you're coming home
Don't you know that I'm so Alone
You can't see me through the lows and highs
You can't tell all your friends you know me

You can't see me through your bloodshot eyes
So take back everything you told me
But you're never gonna change
Never gonna find a way
Promises like gold oh
Living on the edge but I keep
We should take it slow
Living on my own but I know

OMG😱 I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT WE SAW!!/HIKING TRAILS WHITEWATER RIVER AND TAHQUITZ CANYON/PALM SPRINGS - Duration: 17:29.
Good morning, how is everyone.
We decided to show you today 2 places that we like to go for hiking.
In my previous Palm Springs video
I promised to show you more
about Palm Springs.
If you decide to come you can visit these places.
Right now we're at Whitewater,
is a natural preserve with
hiking trails.
Many visitors come every day.
Is located near the famous windmills of Palm Springs
where everybody love to take pictures.
You will see a sing on the freeway that says Whitewater.
You won't get lost, is very easy to find.
Remember this is a natural preserve so be careful with carrying flammable items.
Also with the wildfires and of course, no littering.
Now we're gonna show you the beauty of this place.
This is the first place we're gonna be showing today, welcome to Whitewater River.
We're now on the hiking trail.
We're walking on it, it's pretty easy.
It's pretty easy... Well actually is very long.
There are indications along the trail saying
that if you follow the trails you will go all the way to Canada.
The trails go to many places, they are very long.
Here you can see all the places it goes.
Canyon view loop, Pacific crest trail and the distance to these places.
I can't make it to Hawaii from here, wish I could so I can go back there.
We're gonna follow this one that says river access.
This trail ends up in a beautiful river.
But it's always cold.
Yes, always cold
Is unbelievable that in this desert where we live there is a river.
Is a nice river with a good current.
If you remember from Hawaii videos
we talked about a property we bought,
is a Hilton property.
Is a studio suite in a hotel.
Is called Hilton ownership.
Is a studio suite in a new tower on the big island.
Is called the Ocean Tower.
Is on the west side of the island, far away from the volcano.
It won't open until January.
We are Hilton owners now so we own a studio suite in that tower.
We can go anytime we want.
Or we can go to any other Hilton property worldwide.
For our vacations.
You are gonna keep hearing a lot about Hawaii because we're gonna go many more times.
We got this property in Hawaii because is our favorite place.
We don't even think about it, we just got it and that's it.
I wanted to tell you more in the Hawaii videos but there was no time
because we were there just for 3 days
but in the future we will tell you more about our previous visits and the activities we did.
We're almost at the river, when we get there we will show how beautiful is.
We made it to the river Whitewater.
We've been running around and splashing.
I hope you can hear us because is windy, look at my hair.
So we always do this trail to the river
but all the other trails go all the way up in that direction.
There is more on the other side too.
We always come here.
The weather here is different and nice, way better than the heat from the valley,
here is fresh and this water is wonderful.
There is people there with kids.
I recommend you to visit this place.
Now we're heading to the second location, see you the we get there.
Welcome to Tahquitz Canyon Trail.
Here we are and we are gonna show this trail that is longer and more difficult .
You need plenty of water here.
So this place... Oh a sheep, a sheep.
Oh my god look.
I've never seen one before.
First time we see Bighorn sheeps.
Look Wilson, and you say the didn't exist.
And there they are.
Look the little sheeps.
I believe that's a good sing.
Is the first time we see wild Bighorn sheep.
First time we see them, these are Bighorn sheep because of the big long horns,
and they live in this area.
The Bighorn sing is everywhere and we've never seen them until now.
There is an admission fee for this trail, is... how much?
$5 summer rates, $11 rest of the year.
There is 2 roads right?
Round trip is 2 miles.
This trail is harder, you have to go up and climb the mountain.
Let me show you.
You go that way, all the way to that side.
That way, is that way.
Okay, that way.
So again, this trail is moderate difficulty.
You have to carry plenty of water and be careful because you might find rattlesnakes.
Oh is so hot.
Right now is very hot
Is 12:30pm and is 100°F so bring a lot of water.
At the end of the trail there is a waterfall.
The girl from the gift shop said that the creek is dry but the waterfall still have water.
So we will go there to show you.
Is very beautiful, we came one time already and took photos of the waterfall.
The trail is located in Palm Springs.
Is at the end of Mesquite Ave and is called Tahquitz Canyon.
It was so exiting to see the Bighorn.
I thought they were sculptures and when they moved I was like... a sheep.
Is so cute.
Is leaving.
Look look, is running.
A little sheep.
It has long legs.
Be careful, it might charge against us.
No, is afraid of us.
I don't think is afraid.
Bye little sheep.
This is not the way out?
Guys, what can I say?
We made it, we made it.
I think I'm gonna die.
It was very hard.
Very difficult and hot.
The waterfall has just a little water like this
I'm gonna show you now, is not like the last time
that has a lot of water.
Let me see if I can show you some images from that time
because right now is almost dry.
Is too hot.
We are taking a break now before we start our way back.
Like I say, is a 2 miles hiking, very hard,
we made it here in 25 min,
pretty fast I would say.
It was hard with this heat.
Well guys, this is the end of today's trip.
We're tired but happy because of the encounter with the Bighorn.
We wanted to ask you to stay tuned
because we're gonna keep uploading videos.
Subscribe to the channel, give it a like and leave your comments.
Thank you for watching our videos.
We're gonna say goodbye here.
Byeeee.

Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Reveal — 48-minute walkthrough - Duration: 48:23.

ASMR I'm very gentle to you in the sauna! Spanking with twigs! ♥ Ru with english subs! - Duration: 22:14.
Oh that's hot here!
How are you?
It's ok?
I just trew some water onto the hot stones.
So now we have some more hot steam here.
You're ok? Let me have a look at you.
You know... I think I should lay this wet towel onto your neck.
So that you can breath a little better.
Let's try it.
I prepared the water extra for you.
Hot here.
So let me put it around your neck.
I think it was a good idea to come here and get some rest for soul and body.
That's a good thing.
I suggest I clean you.
I brought some shampoo with me. And there's already plenty of water here.
And after that I'll massage you with the bunches of fresh twigs.
Look how great they look!
Do you like them?
Very good!
So, let's start then!
Let me get what we need.
So I thought about everyting,
So that we have it comfortable here!
I start with washing your body with this sponge.
It sounds great and it is also a little rough which is a great scrab.
I'll wetten it first.
Now I'll open the shower gel.
And now I lether it into a foam.
So let's start with your shoulder.
Oh that feels good!!
I will foam your belly.
Your arms.
and the other one...
Your belly...
Your legs...
It's so hot here.
Is it pleasant enough?
Good?
So now lift your fit some so that I can clean them.
And the other one.
And here...
And your bellly again.... and that's it.
Now you can turn around and I'll clean your back.
A slight skin massage.
Gentle and soft.
With love.
And that's it. You can sit up.
Sit up because now we will wash your head.
I have this shampoo.
It also sounds great.
Oh there's some strow on it...
I'll open it.
Just a little we don't need much.
I just start...
So now I'm just carefully...
Washing your hear...
Come closer...
It is so hot here and hard to breath.
I hope you still feel well enough?
Ohhh it feels so good!!
I massage yur scalp a little.
Wonderful.
And a little up there...
So hot I barely have the power anymore... but that's ok.
I gonna manage.
I will have to wash my head too later. I'm all sweaty.
So I think that's enough.
Now I am going to add some water to the stones.
And then I will wash off all the foeam.
Just wait a little.
So can I wash off the foam?
Ok then close your eyes and I start with the hair.
So let's start!
Feels good.
Now yourbody.
And now the other side.
That's it!
So clean now, right?
So that's it! Now time for the massage!
Of the best best best one! For the soul and the body!
Ok let me choose a bunch of twigs!
Which one? Both look great!
Let's just take this one.
Isn't this beautiful?
What a wonderful aroma!
Do you like it?
Let me explain you what we will do!
I will massage your body starting by the feet and up to your neck.
And of course your arms too!
Just lay here and relax.
Let me just place this wet towel on your face.
Ok, let's start!
I start!
And again!
And now lift your hands and I do this!
A little bit!
So nice! Doesn't hurt at all!
So let's start lift your arm! I start at the fingertips!
Nice right?
So gently leafs! Just listen!
Let me massage your other arm now.
And that's it!
Now let me just stroke your for relaxation with the leafs!
Very gentle.
Your face and the whole body!
Especially the face since it stayed with no massage.
Just soft and gentle.
Gentle and nice...
It is so hot here for us...
But nice and soothing.
Relaxes so...
You can just close your eyes and be happy about the nice massage!
Look how green they are! Wow!
And that in novembre!
Let me stroke your whole body!
And here...
And that is it!
Its almost to to leave.
Let us relax for two minutes more.
And then we'll leave.
Let's close the eyes.
And just enjoy this nice sauna.

Youtube birthday. FREE GIVEAWAY - Duration: 12:27.
Happy stuff and fluff is 12 months old
Hi, my name is Christine L Conroy
Welcome to happy stuff and fluff a channel for women over 50 who are getting happy and growing younger
If you haven't subscribed
Please consider doing so and remember to hit the little bell so that you'll be notified when a new video comes out
So, Happy birthday, Happy stuff and fluff. I can't believe it's been 12 months
And I've loved every minute of it
Despite the fact that
It can be very frustrating at times, especially when you're not kind of particularly
technically oriented as
I'm not and so I've had lots of trial and error and
learning as I go along
And I'm still learning because there is so much to learn. And I might just say if any of you are considering
your own channel, I
Came into it totally
naively. There is a lot of work involved. The best bit, of course, is actually is actually the content
but it's also the most difficult bit too because I'm always trying to think of something to
talk to you about that you're going to find useful
every week, you know, I know obviously clearly I'm a woman over 50 too I mean over 50....too
So I know the kind of things that would help me,but sometimes
you know because that's what I'm here for. That's what the channels all about, finding things
that are going to help you to get happy and grow younger. So that's the the challenging part,
but also the best part and I have loved every minute of it and I'm going to do a giveaway.
But I just want to tell you a little story
Something that I've just been doing.
As you know, all those of you who've been with me a while
we have just moved house from well, four months ago, from the country to the city and
during that whole story there has been lots of
coincidences happen and serendipity and
all kinds of interesting strange things that they've kind of helped us to move along if you will. One of them
Is this story.
The people who actually bought our house were a couple that I
like to think we actually choose to buy, I know this is going to sound ridiculous before I even say it,
but I knew when we put the house up for sale that I wasn't gonna let anybody buy it, that I didn't really like
and
fortunately
Some couples came around who were okay, but then when this particular young couple came in I knew straight away
I wanted them to buy it and
as it turned out they also fell in love with the house and wanted to buy it. And so that was, that was lucky.
Also, the house was very old and we thought it would take a long time
you know, to thrash out things like, I don't know structural issues or anything like that. So we thought we had a long time to...
the process would be a long time. It wasn't. It happened very quickly.
And, of course, also during that time Charlotte became very ill and so the actual house moving kind of took a backseat
but of course every now and then I think what we really must think of where we want to go and
where we're going to move to. And then we had a conversation where, whenever we come into the city
to eat would always said, oh it would be nice at some point to have a place in the city, perhaps.
So we toyed with the idea a little bit. So we started to look for
apartments online, but
It's not something I enjoy doing and they were we were looking through them. We couldn't find anything
We liked and the ones we did like were far too expensive and so on and so I would stop looking
but time went on and
Then we saw one
We thought right we'd better go and have a look at this because we do need to move.
So, that very weekend the couple who were buying the house asked could there bring their family to see the house too.
So they came and they were having a look around and she said, where are you going to move to?
And I told her we didn't know and I said incidentally we're going to look at an apartment
In the city in this particular area. Do you know anything about this area? And she said - that's where we live!
That's where we live. That building is just behind the building we're in. And then she asked us what he what kind of apartment are you?
looking for, and we told her,and she said
come and have a look our apartment. It's exactly what you're looking for.
So we came to the city. The minute we walked into the apartment
we knew it was for us and that was that. So they moved into our house and we moved into theirs.
Which was quite interesting and
So we're kind of the 'oldies' moving into the city.
Which is apparently a trend at the moment. And our local newspaper
caught hold of the fact that we'd moved from the country into the city and asked could they come to talk to us about it?
Which they did. But when they heard the story that we'd literally done a life swap if you like
I
like to say it's the young people have gone to live in the old house and the old people have come to live in the
new one it's not quite like that, but
So they wanted to do a bigger story.
There is a point to be telling you this because that's what we've been doing this afternoon.
So they want to do a bigger story and the couple who bought our house agreed it would be fun to do.
So they just said oh we'll send a photographer around who will take a photograph of
sort of, me and mr. Kitchen in our apartment and the other couple in the house. So Mr.
Kitchen agreed to it because, he hates having his photograph taken, and I don't really like but REALLY, Mr.
Kitchen does not like having his photograph taken. But he agreed to do it.
So the photographer has just been and I promise you we've been posing for over an hour
He had us looking into each other's eyes
holding hands, on the balcony gazing into the distance
Skipping across the grass at the front, okay
Well, not quite skipping but walking across the grass of the front and then and then he did this thing
you know, the photographer where they get down on the floor and he's saying things like
Keep walking keep walking and he's taking pictures. Well, I looked at Mr. Kitchen's face, which had written all over it
What have you done to me, again? Why do I always listen to you? What am I doing here?
And what is this man doing on the floor? Oh, it was just so funny. I just collapsed with laughter
It was just great fun. Granted, most of it at
Mr. Kitchens discomfort.
But he was a great photographer and I desperately hope he got some decent photographs because
Mr. Kitchen was really out of his comfort zone but did incredibly well and it was just so funny. So that's what we've just done
And that's going to go into the local newspaper. When it comes out. I will
find a way to show you might be able to do it digitally or at least show you the pictures when they come out
So that's what how I've spent this afternoon. Of course the rain came down and it was windy and oh
Just made me laugh so much. Okay, so back to Happy stuff in the fluff then and
Yeah, it's great to be able to share stories like that with you, too.
The fluff part of Happy stuff and fluff. Ok. So what's in the giveaway then well, first of all
I'd like to
I'd like to include this meditation journal
This isn't the exact same one
but
this is a meditation journal that I created for myself to begin with because I meditate ,and you'll know if you're a
beginner at meditation or a seasoned meditator that your mind, when you sit to meditate, your mind starts to wander.
Well, I want to use meditation to help me in my
life off the seat as it were in my real life. And so
what used to happen to me was I would start to meditate and I'd have a thought come up and then,
perhaps, in another meditation the same thought would come up and then the same, and so I started to write these thoughts down
Thinking if these thoughts keep coming up I need to do something about them
so I started to after, after the meditation I would write down any of the thoughts that had come up during meditation and
Anything I thought I needed to work on in reality and in real life I would work on
and eventually the thoughts those particular thoughts would stop coming up in the meditation because I'd clearly dealt with them and
So very often anything that's repeated that keeps coming up and keeps coming up
It's good to have a look at and say well I clearly need to do something about it
And so that's what this meditation will help you to do, meditation journal will help you to do. It says it's for beginners
but that's simply because it's a simple journal.
It literally has lines for you to write in to record the time, the date, and the duration
There's a few quotation steps in there, quotations in there ,rather, to keep you moving along and also an action steps.
So write down the thought and then consider the actions you need to take to try and work through that particular issue and put those
action steps down. And if you've got that recorded, you can always come back to see how, how much progress you've made.
So I'm going to include that in the giveaway.
Also, it goes without saying that
Stitch Your own Silver Linings is going to be included.
I'm going to sign this, but what I will do because I know quite a few of you have bought the book already,
Thank you very much for that
So what I'll do is I'll wait until the winners been chosen and I've contacted you and then you can tell me whether you
want me to sign this to you, or if you want to give it as a gift to someone I can sign it and
use their name to do that. So I'll do that for you. And another little thing that I'm quite excited about.
This is my phone, which I dropped
practically within the first week. I got it and
damaged the screen and then got that sorted and dropped it again
And my family was saying get a phone cover, get a phone protector. So I did but I didn't just get any
phone cover. I got this one. And I'm going to include one for you.
So what it says on there is, Do happy stuff, there it is
Do happy stuff and fluff because, as we know on this channel it isn't about 'being
happy' or 'becoming happy'
It's about taking action and 'doing happy' and this phone case is going to remind you to do that.
So that's a phone case for
It's an I6 phone phone case
And again if you don't happen to have that particular phone
but you know someone who does it will come in very handy as a nice little gift.
So that's the giveaway. So again, happy birthday
Happy stuff and fluff and here's to many more of them
All I want you to do in order to
be the winner of the giveaway is to tell me which of the videos over the last 12 months and you have over
52 videos to choose from or any
specific thing that I've said or you've learned or you may have a favorite single video tell me about that in the
Comments below and we'll choose which one and you will get those three things
Okay
so that's choose either a video that you particularly liked over the last 12 months or
something specific that I've said that's resonated with you or that was your favourite or that helped you, in any way.
Tell me about it and
We'll choose the winner
Okay
Okay, so I'm delighted to still be here twelve months later. And as I say, I hope to be here 10 years down the line
Okay
Till the next time remember that on the happy stuff and fluff. We are getting happy and growing younger. Thank you so much for watching. You know I appreciate you.

occasions and I find that these jeans do exactly that so I can wear them to play
with my kids, I can wear them to work and I can wear them out for date night with
my husband and they withstand washing. I can't wear my jeans 15 times before I
wash them they get dirty every time I wear them because of sticky fingers so I
wear them I wash them you know I live in them they are my most comfortable
most flattering pieces of denim that I have in my closet and I'm super super

Arsenal news: The real reason behind Mesut Ozil struggles - Micky Quinn - Duration: 2:27.
That is the verdict of former Newcastle striker turned radio pundit Micky Quinn. Ozil has once again come under criticism this season for his performances in Arsenal's losses to Manchester City and Chelsea
The German missed the 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday with an illness, although reports claim he had a bust-up with head coach Unai Emery in training on Friday
Emery has denied those claims but has demanded Ozil worked harder to keep his place in the team
talkSPORT presenter Max Rushden says Ozil is a player Emery should build his Arsenal team around
"He is such a glorious footballer," Rushden said. "If I was Mesut Ozil you'd say look 'if you can build the team around me', he's that good
" But Quinn disagrees and says Ozil is not good enough when it comes to playing against the best teams in the top flight
"I don't think he is (that good)," Quinn replied. "I don't think he is when it comes to playing in the Premier League, top-four opposition
"He can bully other teams but when I see him playing against the top four, I think the Premier League is too quick for him
"He likes to play at a certain pace, he's got silky skills, but he gets closed down against the top-four opposition
"City, Liverpool, you see almost a shadow of that player. "When he is allowed to play, he is a beautiful footballer
Sometimes team allow him to play. "Against top-four teams, they don't allow him to play
"I don't think he's performed against the top teams in the Premier League." Ozil could return to the Arsenal side when they visit Cardiff this Sunday

The 3 Manifestation Archetypes How to TRANSCEND Them and EASILY Manifest - Duration: 22:17.
this video I'm gonna be sharing with you the three manifestation archetypes and
how we can shift to a higher level so that we create what we want easier than
ever welcome back to another video my name's Aaron and I help people expand
their consciousness now in this video I'm gonna be explain to you something
that is called the manifestation archetypes three ways for looking at the
story that we are telling ourselves Dean which one we identify with and then how
we can transform from the ones we don't prefer into the ones we do now this is
something that can really change our life in the way that we see ourselves
because the truth is our story at a certain level things that have happened
in or in our past our story is constantly something that is on
autopilot that is regurgitating the probability
for what we experience in the future so here's what happens something happens in
the past we could say that somebody treats you a certain way somebody tells
you something that you start to identify with maybe your parents tell you growing
up that you're meant to be heard or seen and not heard so then you start to say
okay I shouldn't speak out I should be shy I shouldn't be myself
and from that meaning there's a certain story a dialogue which then comes this
archetype I'll be talking about but that story will continue to run itself out
until we become aware of that unconscious story that we are telling
ourselves so it's something that remains on autopilot we continue to tell
ourselves a story in the present moment right now even though it was one
circumstance it was one thing that happened when we were maybe six seven or
eight years old and it'll be something that continues to play itself out and it
continues to project and create the probabilities of what we experience in
the future so the key to this is understanding what story we are telling
ourselves being aware of that then deciding to let it go and know that as
we make the unconscious conscience we then start to take our power back
the only time things really have power over us
is when we are not aware of it because then we're in a way blind to it we just
keep regurgitating the same things over and over and over again now before I get
into this let me say that an important part of this understanding is knowing
that the only moment that does exist is this moment right now this is something
quantum physics shows us this is something we hear a lot in philosophy
but it's something that is actually true because you have never experienced
anything other than the now moment all because things happen in the quote past
doesn't mean it happened in the past because when it was the past it was the
now moment we can only remember the past using our memory and our brain but it
all exists now same thing for the future the future we can use our brain and our
imagination to imagine future potentialities and probabilities but we
do that right now and by the time the future gets here to
be this moment right now the reason I say this is because before I go into the
video it's important to understand that because the now moment is the only
moment that exists that's where we make change and when we are aware of that we
can see understanding parallel realities understanding that there's an infinite
number of parallel realities that exist we can see that past experiences was
just one realization of something that quote happened there's an infinite
number of variations of your past but what happens is in the moment right now
we focus on just a couple of those if you were to imagine and feel confident
right now it would be easy for you to remember past experiences that were in
aligned in alignment with that confidence because the neuro somatic
connections in the brain the way your brain is wired it will go down the path
of least resistance and it is much easier to remember those quote memories
in the same way if you were to feel not confident it'd be easier for you to
remember times when you weren't confident so depending on your state of
being is which parts of your do you pull from do you easily remember
from but here's the thing they all exist right now there are reference
experiences where you were confident there were reference experiences where
you were not confident those all exist now here's what neuroscience shows us
neuroscience shows us that every time every single time we take a memory of
something that happened maybe it was someone at dinner table when you're 6 or
7 years old telling you children are meant to be seen and not
heard every time you look at that memory you look at it and you change it just a
little bit and then you put it back you overlay the opinions the beliefs over
the actual memory then you put it back so it is slightly changed and every time
you do that over time it's a completely different memory so the key is knowing
that sense and think about it like this as well this is something I also want to
amend mention think of the different probable futures the future is not set
there is probable futures based on the energy that we have right now based on
the choices that we make of what we may experience in the quote future which is
also the now moment just from a different point of view and in the same
way the past had many probable pasts as you change in the present moment what
quantum physics shows us is not only do you change the probable futures you also
change your probable pasts the reason I say this is this makes it much easier to
let it go now remember this mantra because I believe this mantra can change
your life you are not the result of your past you are not the results of past
reference experiences you are who you choose to be right now in the present
moment because as you change in the present moment so does the probable
futures you may experience based on your choices in your energy state and so does
the past experiences you have a different past as you change because not
only do you remember a different type of memories based on your state of being
but literally you shift the probable you that you experienced this is what
quantum physics is showing us what quantum physics is showing us is that
the only moment that does exist now is now and that there's an infinite number
of probable realities that exist now let's get to the archetypes now the
reason I explained all of that is because the more we understand that
really this is who we choose to be is based on that narrative that story and
how as we change we change our story we can then let go of our story easier so
what I'm about to tell you will be easier if you let go of the current
story that you may be telling yourself so with this process you can think of
this like a movie because we have all seen movies we understand the characters
in the movie and we know these three main archetypes think of these as also
manifestation archetypes we can relate it to that of the law of attraction or
of understanding how our thoughts work and how our beliefs create our reality
there's three main archetypes the first one is the one that I was in for a long
time and it is victim mentality think of the victim character the one that needs
to be saved the one that hopes the one that tries hard but things don't really
happen as easily the one where things happen to that person that was me for a
long time because when I was growing up if you heard my story I went through and
had an abusive stepmom where I want to get too much into it just cuz I know I
share it a lot I don't want you guys to think that I'm kind of like pity party
in it but I had a next step mom that was had a personality disorder and she was
very abusive and from that I went through between the ages of 7 to 15
appeared in my life of when I had no freedom whatsoever it was kind of like
living with an Army sergeant or something like that and me my brother
where a lot of times locked outside we were doing
work outside all day long here in Vegas even though Vegas a lot of you houses
don't have a lot of yards but we had like half acre so me my brother were
always outside a lot of times when when no one is home we weren't allowed inside
we had a sneak food because we were not to eat very much we were both very
malnourished we had to earn going to school
activities a lot of times we were locked out of most of the house we had like the
separate cage section it's a very weird situation we were allowed to watch TV we
weren't allowed to have internet internet I mean my brother pretty much
just had each other and what happened was through that experience I started to
develop a victim mentality even after my dad divorced her when I was 15 years old
all the sudden I have all this freedom everything's great I'm then able to have
friends I wasn't able to have friends before I was able to have friends I was
able to kind of get out of the shell and start to start to really just experience
life versus just kind of like a worker or something and when that happened even
after that 15 I was kind of having self-esteem thing like I wasn't feeling
like I was worthy because of that pain that I went through for like seven years
however what it allowed me to do is to become aware of the victim mentality
that I had of thinking why did this happen
why did this happen to me why did I not have a childhood why was I not allowed
to do the things every kid was able to do like watch TV and have friends and go
to school and enjoy and have friends at school and do school activities without
having to get him taken away when I got in trouble for not doing some chore
correctly or something and I had resentment towards that ex stepmom and
what I realized is I had the victim mentality that was my role and I was
thinking everything happened to me so for years I had it to where things were
happening to me I didn't feel very worthy and a lot of the things in my
life just weren't going my way I felt kind of like a leaf in the wind now the
good part of this is this is one character this is one archetypes
this is one thing that a lot of people are in at a certain level because they
may even view themselves maybe it's beyond not just you know abuse and all
of that although I know a lot of people have been through that it could be
having to go to a nine-to-five job you don't prefer having to do things that
you don't enjoy doing could be not having the right opportunities these are
all from the mindset that things are happening to me I have to go to job you
don't have to go to your job you choose to go to your job but for the mikta
mentality it's only seen as something you have to do that's one that's called
the victim archetype just like in the movie the victim archetype is the one
that needs to be saved it's the one that things are just all going wrong now the
good thing is that that can be transformed because I transcended the
victim mentality when I went through a spiritual awakening I became aware of
the beliefs I had I became aware of the story I was telling myself and I was
able to transcend it and then into what is called the hero archetype the hero
archetype is the one that builds confidence the one that's able to
deliberately put focus in a certain direction the hero archetype is the one
that's able to add value to other people the hero archetype is the one that has
intention just like a hero in the movie the hero in the movie you will see
somebody if you see a hero or somebody that transforms from a victim to a hero
they start to have direction they start to find purpose they start to feel like
they have a destiny something they're meant to be doing in life they're
following their passion that is the manifestation archetype that is very
powerful is being the hero now here's the thing become the hero of your own
movie and not the Cameo and everyone else's most people may be attracted to
someone oh I'm so attracted to you I hope everything goes well I hope we have
this great interaction that's coming from trying to be the Cameo in someone
else's movie instead of being the Cameo be the hero
of your own movie hero doesn't mean you're better than other people I don't
view myself as bed than other people but I'm definitely the
hero of my own movie and I'm able to add value to other people that's how I view
myself but when you have the self image of being the hero things happen for you
not only that you can direct the focus and you choose to do things and the
victim mentality you have to go to a nine-to-five job in the hero archetype
you choose to go to your job maybe it's not what you prefer but you know it will
lead you to the next best thing or you will eventually evolve out of it
but you trust the process that is the hero mentality when I went through my
spiritual awakening back in 2012 I transcended from the victim into the
hero archetype I said you know what all of this negative situation in the past
made me confident and made me who I am today
and I can now look at it and help other people go through and transcend that so
it's looking at this aspect and then saying how can this add value to other
people because the thing is is if I didn't go through that pain maybe as
what I do for a living it wouldn't mean as much you know so when a lot of people
see me they assume that I'm like this entitled kid that grew up with wealthy
parents or something like that had everything given to me on a silver
platter and it's far from this roof but people assume that cuz they see how
positive I am they see him a happy person I went through a lot of darkness
to get to the place to where I've transcended that and got it to a point
to where that transformed so that I can help other people go through the same
thing it means more to me that I can add value because I've been through the pain
and it helps other people maybe it still has some story in there but it's
transformed the meaning of the story why did this happen to me and then it now is
something that this happened because now I can add value to other people and help
other people go through the same thing you can only help people do that which
you have experienced yourself or that which you are emanating so because of
that I can now add value to other people so you can reframe your story when you
reframe your story everything changes now the third archetype is the villain
you may have seen some people go from the hero archetype to the villain
you may have seen some people go from the victim to the villain the villain is
one that sometimes feels a little bit of resentment and sometimes just isn't
accepted by people as the hero you may have seen people like for example Tiger
Woods Tiger Woods who used to be the hero he's the golf guy that was very
successful then all of a sudden he cheats on his
wife and the media grabs ahold of that and then people see him in a completely
different way and he goes and you see this dark side of him and people start
to associate him with being the villain someone else might be like someone like
Logan Paul for example Logan Paul someone that a lot of the younger
community knows who he is he's a vlogger and he's at the he was at the top of his
game at the end at the beginning of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 and if you
didn't hear the scandal the thing that happened he was literally at the top of
his game one of the most well known youtubers and then he goes into the
suicide Ford forest in Japan and while he's there takes a picture and has a
thumbnail of some dude in the back that's hung himself very quickly he went
from the hero to the villain and it's funny because now you see a mix I see a
mix in him of the villain and the victim you could see that and I don't say this
to judge him by any means I say this because you can with awareness you can
see the different archetypes that people identify with so my key is that if he
was to observe this he was to integrate this allow this to be he could transform
it and he could become the hero stronger than ever able to help other people in a
powerful way and it could transform him but it depends on the archetype he
identifies with but very quickly he went from one archetype to the other and with
that comes a different stream a different type of manifestation a
different type of success different type of notoriety and the only reason I bring
up these people you know I don't like to make it sound like I'm judging them
because I'm not I'm just you know I'm just observing it I'm giving it as a
benchmark because maybe you could observe it in people that we know as
symbols that like it makes it easier for us to see oh yeah that's how somebody
goes but a lot of the people that are very successful from the past have gone
from a victim archetype to a hero archetype
people that have gone through a lot of struggle a lot of business their
business failed and then all of a sudden it's very successful it's happened for a
lot of people a lot of successful people so the way you do that is by reframing
your past and knowing that it served a purpose and then identifying more with
the best version of you there is these three versions of us we
all have within us it's not like we have to try to become something we're not we
all have a part of us that is the hero a part is the victim and a part that is
that of the villain we all have a little bit of a dark side we all have the light
side and we all have the side that's like the woe with me we all have that
choose to be the one and identify with the one that is the hero or the one that
is paving the way in the direction that you want you can choose to be the way
you prefer by putting your focus in that direction by observing the thoughts
observing the memories as they come up and then deciding to let them go
remember the mantra you are not the result of your past you are who you
choose to be in the present moment right now as you change so does the probable
futures and so does the pasts the probable paths that you connect to
literally not just certain memories are different literally you are changing and
your past is changing as well only in your insistence of that story do we keep
it continue to go now the past that I went through that was painful you could
say that I'm insisting on it but I do it as a relatability because I know that
people are going through it as well and it can help people to transform from
their story of possibly being in the victim mentality into that of the hero
mentality my goal and one of my intentions is helping people to
powerfully take back their power from giving it away to everyone else or
giving it away to the media or giving it away to the news or giving it away to
friends and family you can direct your life with your focus with your choice
and with knowing that that part exists within you and as you do that you start
to transform your life there's a certain manifestation pattern that comes from
being the hero there's a certain one that comes from being the villain and a
certain one that comes from being the victim choose to be the hero by knowing
that part of you exists right now and the
more you connect to transforming your past to being present to the moment to
being how you choose to be in to direct in your life everything in light in your
life will change anyways so let me ask you a question which archetype are you
which one do you mostly identify with some people may say a little bit of this
and a little bit of that be aware of it and as you're aware of it you can then
change it you can then integrate it you can then look at it allow it to be there
and then be the way you prefer to be this isn't about bottling it up this is
about being aware of it it's about observing it allowing it to be there but
giving it a positive meaning at some level because you can either help other
people whatever it is so know that you are so much more than you could possibly
imagine you can align with this hero version of you and as you do so you will
attract things easier than ever and I would even go as far as to say is that
is who you are meant to be you came here to direct your life in a powerful way to
enjoy this life experience to add value by just being you and that is the hero
archetype and that is who you really are so if you want to learn how to raise
your vibration because I'd go as far as to say also is that as you raise your
vibration you are more into that hero mentality I've created a free meditation
that will show you how to raise your vibrational set point it's one of the
most powerful meditations I've made it's one that if you listen to for 21 days I

College education is failing us all. Can we design something better? - Duration: 7:07.
Fifty percent of high school students don't go on to higher education.
Of the 50 percent that do, 43 percent of them don't graduate.
Of those that do graduate the average graduation time is six years.
The average age of a current college student today is about 25.
And I think 25 percent of college students today actually have a child.
So if you ask me those statistics suggest two things.
The current system is not producing what it was designed to produce for the types of people
that go, the number of people that go and what they need.
And it has not kept up with the modern world in terms of how it makes itself available
and what it charges students to be able to get what they need.
So it's a combination of availability; It doesn't seem to work for the majority of
students, because the number one reason that students don't go on to further education
or drop out of college, it's a combination of two things which essentially means the
same thing: It's too expensive, or they can't get the classes at the time of day
they're available.
And that's because: of the 70 percent of kids that go to state schools, 40 percent
of them work 30 hours a week or more.
All of this is to say that schools are no longer programmed at the right time.
They take too long.
They're too expensive, and what they program is incomplete.
It's not necessarily bad.
our view is the education system needs to evolve to the way we do everything.
Everything we do today comes to us (rather than us go to them).
An example, today we would never wait out in the rain for a car and hope that we can
get a cab.
We'll just hail Uber and it comes and it takes us exactly where we want to go.
Today we wouldn't go rush home to watch a TV show at eight o'clock on a Thursday
night.
We watch it on the device we want to watch it, when we want to watch it, when it's
convenient for us.
Only education continues to require you to come to it, pay a fortune to do it, and have
it be a choice between eating or reading or learning and earning.
And so what Chegg is trying to do is reverse it, is try to say let's use what the internet
does best.
Let's make it online, on demand.
Let's make it personalized.
You do it the way you want to do it, not the way it's taught singularly to everybody.
Adaptive which means when we watch what you do and we learn about you, let's actually
adjust how we teach you or what we teach you, what we give you more of and what we give
you less of based on your actual abilities.
And then let's make it exceptionally affordable.
And if we do that you'd be amazed how many students need to learn, want to learn, are
willing to learn.
So we think that the modern university system has become too expensive; incomplete programming,
inconvenient locations, inconvenient time of day for the modern workforce which doesn't
have the time to do both.
So even if you look at for-profit colleges they were a mess because they became a scam
for a lot of people.
But if you realize 3.6 million people at one time were actually taking it, you realize
the demand was there to be able to learn in your own environment in your own way.
Why?
Because the average person was a 30-year-old woman who could not leave her family or her
workforce, or in some cases both.
So I just think that the modern education system needs to acknowledge who the modern
student is, what the demands on that modern student are—there's more of them, they're
more broke, they have more diverse needs.
They enter the system with different education, different backgrounds, different financial
situations, and no "one size fits all" is going to work anymore.
And so what we've got is we've got a lot of schools – now we're not talking about
the top 50 or 100 schools.
Those schools have huge endowments.
They'll be protected for a long time and they'll probably continue to be able to
teach the smaller part of the population that can take four years.
But the ramifications are—well, here's a question for you.
Why is there something called a four year school?
Why does college take four years?
That's a random number.
Why does a certain course take two years?
That's a random number.
It has to do with how many classes they're willing to program that you're able to take.
Not how long it takes you to learn the material.
Ninety-five percent of the time that you're at a four year college you're not in a classroom
in any way, shape or form.
In today's world we binge watch everything that we want.
You can binge watch entire series, albums, learn anything you want.
Why can't you binge learn your education?
If you're willing to put in the time at nights, weekends, days, whatever it is and
learn and master the subject, why can't you finish when you've learned the things
you're supposed to learn in order to get you a job?
So the ramifications are colleges are going to have to take less time to get somebody
from learning to earning.
There is no reason why it should take four years.
Very little of the population has the time or the finances to delay earning by four years.
Only a small subset do.
And so I think the ramifications are you're going to see fewer colleges, you're going
to see them combined, more of them are going to have to get online.
They're going to have to expand their curriculum to include job skills, and I think you're
going to see a resurgence of institutions that primarily serve people online.
Not because—a teacher can make the argument there's nothing better than one-on-one in
a classroom.
That may be true.
That may be true for a lot of kids.
It's certainly not true for everybody.
But it's also 100 percent not available to anybody.
Nobody gets to learn one-on-one in a classroom anymore.
And so our opinion is it's unfair to say "Because this is the best way, we're not
going to do the other way" when 90 percent of the people have no access to the best way.
So if education is really going to grow, it's really going to proliferate, it's got to
be online, increasingly.
It's got to be on demand.
It has to be multimodality.
Some people learn by taking tests.
Some people learn by watching videos.
Some people learn by human intervention and human help.
All of those ways need to be available.
There's no benefit in teaching somebody who learns this way, this way over here if
that's not going to work for them.
And when you look at the scores 43 percent drop out, they drop out with $7,000 to $9,000
in debt.
The ones that survive have $37,000 in debt.
So I mean you just look at the math and ask yourself, do you want to put your kid into
that system?
The answer has to be no.
Why are we taking the most valuable people, the future of this country and delaying their
ability to be productive in the workforce, delaying their ability to make money, and
saddling them with debt larger than anything else they may do in their life (with the exception
of buying a home), and doing it at 18 years old?
To me it just sounds unfair and unfortunate.

Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Reveal — 48-minute walkthrough - Duration: 48:23.

But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?
Under the sea
Under the sea
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin'
Full time to floatin'
Under the sea
Down here all the fish is happy
As off through the waves they roll
The fish on the land ain't happy
They sad 'cause they in their bowl
But fish in the bowl is lucky
They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry
Guess who's gon' be on the plate?
Oh no!
Under the sea
Under the sea
Nobody beat us
Fry us and eat us
In fricassee
We what the land folks loves to cook
Under the sea we off the hook
We got no troubles
Life is the bubbles
Under the sea (Under the sea)
Under the sea (Under the sea)
Since life is sweet here
We got the beat here

Even the sturgeon an' the ray
They get the urge 'n' start to play
We got the spirit
You got to hear it
Under the sea
The newt play the flute
The carp play the harp
The plaice play the bass
And they soundin' sharp
The bass play the brass
The chub play the tub
The fluke is the duke of soul
(Yeah)
The ray he can play
The lings on the strings
The trout rockin' out
The blackfish she sings
The smelt and the sprat
They know where it's at
An' oh that blowfish blow
Yeah, under the sea (Under the sea)
Under the sea (Under the sea)
When the sardine
Begin the beguine
It's music to me (It's music to me)
What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band
Each little clam here
Know how to jam here
Under the sea
Each little slug here
Cuttin' a rug here
Under the sea
Each little snail here
Know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter
Under the water
Ya we in luck here
Down in the muck here
Under the sea
