Youtube daily report Aug 30 2018

Hello again my dear friends here we are back with another video more electronic Núñez tutorials

And how can you see here again we have an LG brand screen

This is a big 49 inch screen

Which is also representing a common breakdown very well

There as you can see the TV apparently already lit

But we have the typical absence video failure

Very well very well at first glance we can realize that the backlight has been activated correctly

But we have this missing image failure

Already in previous videos I have taught them that in these cases if we make slight blows

To the panel you can see white flashes which would indicate that

The T-Con card if you are receiving power supply voltage But here I can definitely define the T-Con card

is not working so the TV is not generating the corresponding function

Then gentlemen we will follow the repair process in order to seek to resolve the breakdown

On this screen so you can keep an eye on the video so you could learn what we're going to do

To solve this breakdown. Very well gentlemen and have not subscribed to the channel I invite you to do it

And that activate the notifications bell so that no video is lost to the channel

muy bien el modelo de este televisor es 49LF5100

Then we will proceed to disarm it and then continue with the tutorial

Very well how can you observe and we have disarmed and we see that this TV is one of those who use

An external source despite being a large screen simply uses an external source now well

With respect to having and that TV we already see that the backlight is activating correctly

So in this situation and as I mentioned we are going to focus directly on the T-Con card

And in it because what you have to do is check the power voltages in this case as the voltage

Power for this T-Con card is 12 volt

If the voltage is not present that may be responsible for this would see or if protection fuse is open

Well that might also be the would have now well there are many more things to review when we have

A fault like this if the protection fuse is in good condition and the other voltages of which

Emits that T-Con card towards the panel are present then we're going to have to doubt

Of the LVDS signal, or similarly doubt the chips COF on the panel but we

And those already engaged in repairing this kind of TVs then immediately

We see these breakdowns we know where and how to work but remember that my channel is coming

A lot of new people or colleagues who just started in the repair of this kind of TVs

And this knowledge still does not have them therefore we will proceed to connect the TV

To the electrical network and we will perform the corresponding checks in order to seek to solve the fault

On this screen

All right let's take negative ground chassis of any metal part of the screen

And we're going to take reading the input fuse how could you observe we have 12 volts power

And in the same way the voltage is entering correctly to the T-Con card Here we already ruled out The first part

We see the power supply voltage and we see that the protection fuse is in good condition

Now what we should do in the following if you look here carefully

You're going to find voltage cue points

In these cases we have the points marked as VGL, VGH voltage, VDD voltage

The three of these first ones I mentioned are the main voltage reference points

On the other hand we have the voltage VCC, and the voltage HVDD OK then these voltages need to be present

So that we can realize that the T-Con card is working

So that's what we're going to review mainly the first 3 voltage reference points you mention

are standard voltage reference points on all T-Con cards

Very well mainly let's check the voltage input to the integrated DC DC converter

There we see the 12 volts HVDD which would have to have 8 volts VCC of 1.8 VGL-5 Volts

And on this side we have the voltage point marked as VGH which would have to have 28 volts

y por este lado tenemos VDD de 16 voltios Pero cómo puedes darte cuenta no tenemos voltajes

If we touch these integrated in some cases we will find very hot which we would be indicating

That are damaged or are detecting a strong short circuit if any COF chip is damaged

Or if the interface card between the T-Con and the panel is damaged then the DC DC converter circuit goes into protection

To avoid major damage to this card then one of the techniques that we can apply here

is to disconnect these flexible cables one by one and how you can see this screen uses

Two flexible cables which is indicating part A and part B of the panel after that

We're going to check the voltage reference points here we have the point marked as VGL

How you can observe no voltage now let's review the next reference point VGH

Likewise there is no VDD voltage and how you can see the three main voltage points of which I have spoken

Because there is no presence of such voltage now we will disconnect this other and we will again check the voltage

These T-Con cards immediately receive the feeding voltage they would have to work

As you can see here now I have in the reference pin VGL-5 volts which is indicating to me that

This converter is working here I have VGH 28 volts which is indicating to me that the card

is already worked properly here I have the voltage marked as 16-volt VDD

Here we have the other reference point HVDD and how you can see here are the 8 volts

And we have the last point marked as VCC of 1.8 volts then I can realize that the T-Con card

is working properly then now we're going to connect again

The flexible cable that we had initially disconnected and we will again connect the TV to the mains

And again we will check the voltages if the voltages were lost we would know that part B

Of this Panel has problems we will review here again reference point VGL-5 Volts This correct

BGH 28 Volts VDD 16 Volts

HVDD 8 volts which is indicating that the card gets you working properly

In all the voltage emission sections to the panel now I'm going to raise the TV let's Watch

That the panel is representing us

Very well how can you see there you see that half of the panel now if you have voltage presence

Entonces señores Allá podemos darnos cuenta que la parte A de este panel está dañada

To solve this I would see I already taught some techniques in which it consists of eliminating some printed circuit tracks

Feeding that goes to the panel where the COF chips are located

But there are also other techniques to seek to solve this breakdown

For that then we're going to have to discover this card we'll have to remove this

Plastic protection to be able to access the card and review each of the components

That there are Okay let's work to this area let's look for which component is damaged

To seek to give solution very well gentlemen but we will do that in the video number 2

If you are interested in knowing more about the repair of this type of televisions stay pending

Of the following video in which we will seek to solve this breakdown

Very well gentlemen this is another video for the collection of electronic videos Núñez See you until the next tutorial

PolarPro Quartzline Camera Filter Series - Duration: 2:02.

Hi, I'm Chiara. I'm going to tell you something about these filters.

They are brand new and really unique.

I'm going to tell you why, so keep watching!

These PolarPro filters are part of the Quartzline series.

As the name suggests, they're made of quartz glass.

It's super solid and extremely temperature stable.

They perform really well in high or low temperatures.

Moreover, quartz has a very low refractive index.

This means that the light follows a straight line to the sensor,

without bending. This ensures a sharpe image.

These Quartzline filters have 16 layers of coating, 8 on each side.

This ensures that they're extremely scratch resistant,

this has even been tested in a sand storm: not a single scratch!

Moreover, the coating ensures that the filters are perfectly color neutral.

We tested that as well.

It also reduces reflections and ensures a higher light transmission.

The filters' frame is constructed out of brass.

This is stronger than aluminium.

So if you accidentally screw it on your lens slightly askew,

it won't damage the filter thread on your lens.

Neither will it be stuck on your lens.

The PolarPro Quartzline filters are available in different types.

We've got uv-filters, polarizer filters and nd filters,

but also, and this is really unique, you can see it right here,

combined nd and polarizer filters.

So you'll only need one filter instead of two on top of eachother.

These PolarPro Quartzline filters are available in different sizes.

They come in these luxury boxes,

which include a hardcase and a soft filter pouch that indicates which filter it contains.

If you want to know more about the PolarPro Quartzline filters,

please visit our website.

You'll also find the entire assortment there.

See you next time!

How to start BONSAI from beginning (with emglish subtitle) - Duration: 26:41.

hello!

The plants that you can see in this plastic bags are mostly peepal and banyan plant

I am transforming these plants into bonsai plants step by step

I told this before that for making a good bonsai tree, we have to start it from the small stage of that plant

if you want bonsai tree in a very small time then you have to bring the big tree and then cut its roots and do it many other ways

if you want to know about that then you can see it on my channel I have some video on it.

here I will show you how to make bonsai from plants step by step

these plants are mostly 1 to 2 years old

like this one 2 years old

this one also 2 years old

this one 3 years

before one month these plants were in a very small pot after that I re poted in this big plastic bags

after planting it I have cut the upper portion of these plants, these side branches were not there at that time

I planted it directly after cutting it

and the upper portion of these plants,

i have planted in here

here you can see branches coming out from everywhere and especially in this plant none of the leaves is falling apart

here I am showing you a glimpse of how I collect these plants and planted them.

at first, after collecting it I am cutting the long roots including the main root and plant it in this pot

because this main root separation is an important part of this bonsai work

because the pots were very small during summer time the water of the roots is getting dried very fast and gradually the plant getting weaker

so I put these pot in direct contact to the ground soil so that they can take some water from the ground soil also.

now I am repotting these plants in these little big plastic bags

and with this, I am truncating the excess long roots and branches

now I am going to show you rest of the cutting work

at first, you have to decide that what kind of bonsai you want

like I show you some example.

let me clean this place

Lets

see this one

this is another design. this one is also a bonsai, but some people say that this is not a bonsai

anyway bonsai is an art and how you give its form solely depends on you

today some people argue that this is not a good bonsai but after maybe 10 years or so the very same people will say that this is a very good one

see this is a heart shape, double heart

now see these 4 side branches ends here . I cut it here

there will be parts in all the four corners

and when the whole tree will be thicker it will look more beautiful

if you want this type of from then you have to think it from the early stage of the plant growth

you can understand after seeing it that you have to find out this 2 branches

now I will show you how to do that

for do it at first you have to choose a plant who has two side branches

like this one

here you can keep this branches cutting the other side branches if you want to give form like mine.

like here only one side branches coming out so I am separating it

now I am cutting this side leaves. and whenever any branch coming out here then you have to cut it off

see this portion

we have to cut it in a way so that it seems like a branch

that's enough

now this two branches will grow and after it will grow like one to two feet then we will make that form like mine,

now see

this bonsai tree

look at this bonsai form. this one almost turned into bonsai form. but

look at this tree. its almost turned into bonsai form.

this tree is 8 to 10 years old

this one also I made bonsai from the small plant

if you want this type of bonsai then what you have to do

see these portions, I cut these parts as time progresses

see here

this one is branch

I cut down the main trunk at first

let show you this part

now you can understand

see this inside part this was the main trunk

see how its joined, this was the main trunk and i cut it here

after that, this branch and this branch is growing up

here in this branch, there were two or three branches coming out

I have cut this one

here also the same, I remove some branches and keep this one only

here one got removed

this way you have to cut these side parts

see this

I had cut this one and this one, but

see this part I have to again cut it angularly

same for this part

we have to cut it in a way such that

later it seems like no branch is present here

like this how it get hidden

see this hinge we need to remove it so as to make it look prettier

this will be done later

if you want this form then I will show you how to do it

so i will show you a banyan tree and how to do it

it has two branches coming out, I told you that I had cut it one month before

here what you have to do. see this part

we have to mix it with this part cut it like this way

you can cut it with a knife like me or a scissor but this is safer

now

now it does not look like a different branch its seems like it's the main trunk

this way we have to do it step by step

let's show you some more example

this one, it's a few years old

see this part, I won't touch it now but when the trunk will be thicker

then i will cut it in here

I will keep the first branch coming out from here and cut down the rest of it

this one also the same

if we do this way then the main trunk will be getting thicker and the upper portion will be getting smaller

this is the actual technique of it. if you think it will happen normally then it will not

then the plant will be getting longer

if it is getting taller then it will not be a bonsai anymore, as a bonsai is a small form of a tree

we called it in Bengali bamon gach

means it looks like a big tree but in a very little form

to do that you have to do it in this technique step by step

now see

this peepal tree

its trunk is very long and getting dense upward

if you want to keep few branches and slowly make it grow upward then you have to cut the other parts in every branch

and if you want to keep it this way then shape it time to time

if you want to do this type of tree then what you have to do

i will show you

see this plant

see it has many branches here

so we don't have to touch it

because see it has this long main trunk and the branches start from here

so we have to keep it this way

when it is getting big and you think necessary to give it a shape then you do some work in it

in this tree, I have to cut these parts of this plants

here see these two branches ends here so here

this branch, we have to cut it in a way so that it get adjusted with this

this is also same

we have to give shape after every branch is out

because if you don't shape this then the unwanted part will be there it looks bad.

so if you want this shape then you don't have to shape much

which i show you , this one

see this one, if you want this to get transformed in a way that

the plant is getting thicker slowly

three, four trunks are coming out from the bottom etc.

like this then you have to shape it from this portion

now I am going to transform this plant into a shape

you can use this scissor or a big one depending on your preference

you have to do it very carefully as the plant its very soft.

see how i am cutting it

I have cut it and now i will shape it with knife

you have to use a sharp knife, like this one its very sharp

now cut this part very slowly but safely

this can happen

here i have no option so i separated it here

but no problem, new branch come out from here later

its very thick so this problem happened but its ok

if you don't shape it now then it will cause problem later

its done

new branch will come out from here later

these will be getting bigger and I will touch it after one year later

at that time I will remove some of the portions

then I will concentrate on the main branch that will come out for further shaping

in this way you need to move

see this we need to proceed in the same way as earlier

here I am cutting out one branch as it does not have many branches

cutting out this one

almost ok

do like this

I have prepared a liquid manure from cow dung that I will use here

this one

this is the cow dung

this I have soaked into water three four days back

now you can use this liquid three to four times after that you can use it but its quality degrades

provide the liquid to these plants in a very small amount

this is a large one so you can give more liquid its not an issue

as it has high amount of nitrogen

here I am transforming a mango plant into a bonsai tree, see how I am doing it

generally what we do

initially we make a column

most of the time we cut it from the middle and set a branch to it that belongs to a plant of a different kingdom

see it still the same plant that growed from the seed itself

what I have done to this plant

see this you can understand

I have cut it from the middle and use some wax on top of it as mango plant can degrade pretty easily

see the wax coating

now

I have maintained a size of 7 to 8 inch

see this the branches are coming out from nothing automatically

this branch is also growing like the others

now see this its an ordinary plastic pot

see this carefully two new branches are coming out

these small new branches

now for every branch that is coming out I will do a mix column with other plants for each of them

so that we get different type of mangoes from the same plant

now time will say how much will I succeed in this

but I will definitely provide update on this later

now I am showing you a glimpse of that as a part of bonsai

Two Point Hospital Review | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 11:57.

1997 was a significant year.

It was a year that many of us realised that a game based around running a Hospital, wasn't

as ludicrous as it sounded.

In fact, it was actually damn good fun, and we had Bullfrog Productions to thank for expanding

our minds and wasting countless hours of our days.

Although its life began under DOS, it would also make its way to the Playstation the following

year.

Theme Hospital was in fact, such a good game that people still play it today, and indeed

there's even an Open Source high resolution engine called CorsixTH which allows owners

of the original base files to game in much more socially acceptable resolutions.

So really, there's no need for a sequel, or even games like Hospital Tycoon and Hysteria

Hospital, which failed to recreate the same charm, amusement and addictiveness, offered

by a game written over 20 years ago.

Personally I would be happy just listening to this music all day.

But then, from the end of hospital corridors, we began to hear whispers of a new game.

A game called Two Point Hospital.

A game which aroused those Theme Hospital feelings all over again.

Well, it turns out those whispers weren't Chinese in origin, even if the names we applied

to that old children's whispering game were perhaps a little dubious in origin.

Because HERE, is Two Point Hospital.

A game my brain keeps telling me to call Two Point Four Hospital, but has no connection

whatsoever to the average number of children in a British Household during the 90s.

So this video is here to serve two itches.

The first is to find out whether this new management sim is any good, the second is

to draw comparisons with Bullfrog's Theme Hospital and then mull on what 20 years of

programming & evolution has brought us.

Now allow me to set your expectations here, because people like ex-Bullfrog developers

Mark Webley & Gary Carr have worked on creating Two Point Hospital, and given he worked on

both Theme Park & Theme Hospital, expect some distinct similarities.

No Peter Moleneux this time I'm afraid though, I presume he's currently been held hostage

in Larry's basement.

We start with an introduction, which, although no where near as dark as Theme Hospital, merges

the same style of comedic wordplay & blatant disregard for patient life, that we all know

and love.

But instead of being thrown straight into a hospital, we're now presented with a map.

I mean, to start with, we can only select one hospital, but I like where this is going.

Now, from this point on, it really does feel like you're playing a modern Theme Hospital.

I expected similarities, but I didn't expect it to be THIS similar.

We've got the same isometric angle, the same reception desk, the same room layout design,

the same items in the room, in fact, I'm sure that's even the same tannoy announcer....

Rebecca Green did the original announcements... hmmmmmm, I can't find her name in the Two

Point credits, but she sure as hell sounds similiar.

Anyway, the point is.

This feels so much like Theme Hospital, that I barely had to think to play it.

Everything is where I expect it to be, and everything moves how I expect it to move.

From the placement of items, to the rotation of the screen.

Woah, wait a minute, Theme Hospital was strictly an isometric game, this 3D malarkey is new,

annndd pretty nice too.

Although it felt wrong to move the game out of that original isometric perspective.

I started to lose my bearings.

So, what are we missing?

Well, the original cartoon look of Theme Hospital has been replaced by more generic 3D representations.

When I saw this style on trailers, I had my reservations, but now, in the flesh, it looks

good and it feels right.

In fact, many of my concerns about this remake, especially the overall quality, floated away

within the first half hour of playing.

It's clear that Two Point Hospital is a labour of love, and a true spiritual successor to

one of my favourite 90s games.

This meant, that although there's a handy assistant throughout, to help you improve

and avoid pitfalls.

I barely needed him, as anything from placing radiators to keep the place warm, to hiring

the right staff, to building the right number of GP rooms was almost intuitive.

What's more, the niggles from the original, like having to heat the whole damn building,

even the empty parts to keep people happy, are gone.

I can now happily heat only the parts where people are passing through, and this works.

Like it should.

Along with more familiar ailments, we've got new problems to deal with, requiring new machines,

new rooms and new staff training.

We've also got statistics, graphs and tables, just like Theme Hospital.

In fact, we've got an even wider array of things to keep tabs on than before, all of

which will satisfy, even the most die hard analytics fan... well, probably.

But regardless, there's not to much to overwhelm you.

Alongside this are numerous challenges raised by both staff members and authorities.

For example, you might be tasked with capturing 2 ghosts.

For that you'll need a janitor with ghost catching skills, and you'll need some dead

patients who have come back to haunt your corridors.

Fulfil this and you'll earn some KuDOSH.. which you can spend on new items for your

hospital and it's rooms.

Perhaps a bean bag, a coffee machine, or even a SEGA arcade machine, running Sonic apparently.

Some of these we saw in Theme Hospital, others we didn't.

It's a nice balance.

Now this is all great.

But what's really key, is whether this combination of new and old keeps you engaged the same

way the original did.

Theme Hospital just used to suck days and days of your life without realising it.

The formula was so balanced that kept all the right areas of your mind busy and interested.

Thankfully Two Point Hospital seems to have just about pulled it off.

There were times when I was waiting for machines to be researched, or just for the hospital

to play out, but it wasn't enough to make me bore-quit, and just when you think there's

nothing else to do, a new problem crops up, or a new hospital is offered to you.

Here's where that world map comes into use.

In Theme Hospital, you'd often be offered new hospitals to take charge of.

But this meant giving up your current hospital.

All that hard work, might have levelled you up, but now it was pulled away from you.

Well, Two Point Hospital doesn't do that.

You get to keep your previous hospital and move onto the next, creating a empire of hospitals.

You're then free to go back to your previous hospitals at any time and level them up further.

3 stars seems to be the highest achievement for each site, but they'll keep on running

after that.

Your ultimate aim is therefore to build on every hospital site, from the rural outbacks

to the City locations, with each site offering different challenges and diseases.

For example, the University hospital starts you with only student medical staff.

From there you have to build your medical centre as normal, whilst providing training

to ensure everything runs efficiently.

Other outback locations may give you more facture cases, I presume because people fell

more trees directly onto their legs.

Then as you move to the city pharmaceuticals become a bigger role.

These new challenges keep you engaged and give you a reason to progress.

So, what's the verdict?

Well, it actually feels like how I would expect a modern day Theme Hospital to feel.

It plays like I would expect it, and throws a few surprises in there to.

Such as the ability to move entire rooms, rather than deleting and starting again.

I'll tell you now, this feels like a revelation after playing Theme Hospital for so many years.

The music does its best to conjour feelings of those classic midi tunes, whilst throwing

a few radio DJs into the mix who provide their own style of comedy inbetween tannoy announcements.

So, it's pretty much perfect.

My only niggle would be that it's sometimes harder to work out how to fix a problem, when

compared to Theme Hospital.

But really, that's a good thing.

It gives more depth, more variety and more intensity to proceedings.

I am somewhat pleased with how its all turned out.

This is the Bloodwork You Should Get for Iron Overload | Chris Masterjohn Lite #64 - Duration: 7:35.

This is how to use an iron panel, serum

ferritin, and transferrin in order to

assess your iron status.

Hi, I'm Dr. Chris Masterjohn of

chrismasterjohnphd.com. This is

Chris Masterjohn Lite,

where the name of the game is

"Details? Shmeetails. Just tell me what works!"

And today we're going to talk

about blood work for managing iron status.

There's a whole lot to unpack in

the topic of iron that I'm not talking

about today, and that includes anemia, and

that includes many medical disorders.

What I want to talk about today is how

to make sure that you're not suffering

from iron overload using these iron

tests, and in particular why it's

important to look at ferritin and

transferrin on top of the iron panel

when looking at this. If you look on the

screen, you'll see the list of iron tests

that I got for my most recent blood

analysis. We'll look at the numbers in

the next video.

We have iron and TIBC. TIBC means

total iron-binding capacity, and that

breaks down into TIBC, UIBC, which is

unbound iron-binding capacity, iron, and

iron saturation. Then as separate tests,

I have added on here serum ferritin and

serum transferrin. The things that we're

really interested with these tests are

serum ferritin, which is a marker of your

long-term iron storage, and transferrin

saturation, which is not the same as

serum transferrin. It's the number of

transferrin molecules in your blood that

have their iron binding sites bound to

iron. Transferrin is your short-term

store of iron, distinct from ferritin,

which is your long-term store of iron,

and together serum ferritin and

transferrin saturation give a good

picture of your short- and long-term iron

status. When you are subject to iron

overload, what happens early on is

transferrin saturation increases above

what it normally would increase to

before ferritin kicks in. Normally you eat

iron, your serum transferrin saturation

goes up, that kicks in ferritin to take some

of that iron and put it in long-term

storage. When you have iron overload

conditions because of a genetic

predisposition, the transferrin

saturation goes up, and it doesn't kick

iron over into ferritin until much later.

If you have a late-stage iron overload

condition, you will see ferritin rise,

and you can see it rise very, very high.

In the iron binding panel, what we're

looking at is measures of iron

saturation, and this is a cheaper

estimate of transferrin saturation. What

they do here is they say, "You know, it's

mostly transferrin in the blood that's

binding iron, so let's just throw iron at

the blood and see how much sticks."

By doing that, you can estimate the total

iron-binding capacity of the blood, that's

how much can stick when the iron is

removed; the unbound iron-binding

capacity, that's how much sticks when you

don't remove the natural iron present in

the blood; and then how much iron is in

the blood, and you can use all this to

estimate the iron saturation, all as a

means of getting a cheaper estimate of

transferrin saturation, which is what

we're really interested in. What we want

is for the transferrin saturation to be

between 30% and 40%. The range that

they give for iron saturation is bigger

than that, 15% to 55%, but when we're

looking for an optimal range, 30% to 40% is the

optimal range. In the case of serum

ferritin, the ranges are controversial,

and the ranges vary from laboratory to

laboratory and over time. In my opinion,

we generally want to keep serum ferritin

between 60 and 150. In cases where

someone has a long experience of being

subject to iron overload, it might make

sense to go under 60, maybe even go

down to 20 or 30. But in cases

where someone's predisposed to anemia,

that's a good reason for trying to keep

it above 60 and maybe even get

towards 100 to 150. Because in one case,

you're trying to drain iron that's been

overloaded out of the body, and in the other

case, you're trying to replete iron

stores, and so it makes sense to be on

the higher or lower end of that

accordingly. For transferrin saturation,

the way that we estimate—the way that

we calculate this when we've measured

transferrin is to take this serum iron,

divide it by the serum transferrin, and

multiply it by 0.79.

Now, you might ask, "Why should you bother with

that if you have already estimated it

with the iron saturation?" And the reason

is that there are other things in the

blood besides transferrin that bind to iron.

Albumin, for example, is the most

prevalent protein in the blood, and it

can bind to iron. And there are studies

suggesting that in some people with iron

overload, iron saturation is often an

underestimate of the transferrin

saturation. And it's the transferrin

saturation that you want between 30% and 40%.

So here's what I would

suggest. Given the fact that measuring

serum transferrin is more expensive than

the iron panel, it does make sense to be

conservative about ordering the test

when you don't need to. But you don't

know if you need to until you order the

test at least once. So what I would do is

at least once or maybe three times, get

all of these measured and compare the

transferrin saturation when calculated

as serum iron divided by serum

transferrin times 0.79

to the iron saturation. If they diverge

consistently, then you probably want to

continue measuring your transferrin

saturation by getting transferrin and

making the calculation as long as you

continue to have iron-related issues

that you believe need to be managed.

If, on the other hand, your transferrin

saturation as calculated that way always

looks like your iron saturation, then I

think you can conclude from that that

iron saturation is a good enough proxy

to use going forward, and going forward,

you can limit this to the iron panel and

to the ferritin.

and monitoring iron status in my e-book,

Michel: I want a strong Europe // Future of Europe Speech, May 2018 - Duration: 23:16.

I want a strong Europe.

Mr. President

of the European Parliament.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Parliament

Commissioners,

Ladies and gentlemen,

First I have to thank you,

for this wonderful initiative, which breaks the mould.

To allow the heads of State and Government

to debate directly with

directly elected MEPs.

To bring about an exchange of ideas.

Highlighting the issues and different visions to understand them.

Your initiative is both useful and necessary.

Ladies and gentlemen,

60 years after the Treaty of Rome, the European Union is facing another key moment in its history.

All our countries, in mine too, everyone feels a paradigm shift, to a degree.

To our grandparents, the EU was a reassuring concept.

After several centuries of conflict and wars, the dividend from peace and prosperity

was a genuine reality appreciated by them, for what it was.

Today,

in the collective imagination,

Europe is associated with fear-inducing globalisation, austerity, opacity or technocracy.

In a few years, a Europe that reassures has become a Europe of crises,

a Europe that brings worries.

The financial crisis, economic crisis, debt crisis, migration crisis, or even Brexit...

The impression is that of a Europe that suffers, which seems to have lost control of its future and its destiny.

However, the European Union's added value is real, genuine and present on a daily basis.

But is it visible enough?

Is it perceptible enough?

We are facing a fundamental crisis of faith.

Faith in public institutions, including European institutions.

Also a crisis of confidence in traditional media.

With the illusion of the transparency of social media and direct information,

which abound with fake news and manipulations.

Nevertheless, confidence is the key to democracy.

Democracy is a contract between citizens and their representatives.

Universal suffrage gives politicians the legitimacy to decide and act.

We are confronted, which is not new in history,

by Extremists from all sides who are inciting fear.

They spread the venom of the simplicity and caricatures, to pit peoples against one another.

To get people to turn their backs on each other.

Or to roll back fundamental values.

Ladies and gentlemen,

I am a committed European, but not a naïve and smug European.

Europe is doing better.

The crises are under control.

Growth and investment are picking up again.

Our borders are better controlled.

There is progress in the fight against terror.

And more than ever,

I share this conviction with you,

we need to go back to the original fundamental principles of the European spirit.

We need to win the hearts and minds of our fellow Europeans.

We need to convince them with an ideal and with results.

Peace and security, prosperity and equality, freedom and democracy...

These are not empty phrases, they are a strong and steadfast ambition.

It is a promise that we have inherited.

It is a promise that we must honour day after day.

That is why the time for making choices has come.

There are three simple questions on the table, to which I would like to respond.

What do we want to do together?

How?

With whom?

The first question: what do we want to do together?

I want a strong Europe based on 27 solid member states!

Not a Europe that is dealing with everything, always and all the time.

But a Europe that acts when it can provide real added value.

Rather than engaging in a vain battle of sovereignty between the Member States and the European Union,

I choose a different path,

that of political and democratic primacy in the Member States and within the European Union.

We need to break this spiral of perceived democratic powerlessness.

We must use results to demonstrate the complementary added value of the European Union's actions

and of each of our national democracies.

European, national, regional and local democracy must work together and reinforce each other.

Likewise, we must bring together the solidarity of everybody with the responsibility of everyone.

Ladies and gentlemen,

I see three requirements for giving a new impetus to our European alliance.

A requirement for prosperity, security and values.

First, Prosperity: Prosperity must be fostered.

We must complete the banking union and consolidate the economic and monetary union in the euro area.

We need to reduce the risks and share them more. Between and with each other.

In that frame,

Taxation is a national instrument.

But tax competition, which is sometimes outrageous between Member States,

is an obstacle to making the euro area more attractive as a whole.

How can I explain to my grocer that he pays a higher tax rate

than an online giant that generates billions of turnover on European soil?

We have to continue to work together on tackling tax evasion

and move towards a gradual harmonisation of the corporate tax base.

Belgium supports the principles proposed by the European Commission on GAFA.

We are also following the work the OECD is doing in this respect.

The Digital Agenda and artificial intelligence are opportunities for our continent.

Everything is on the table.

Let us decide as quickly as possible, to unlock the potential for employment and growth.

Global warming is now a certainty.

We only have one planet.

The Paris agreements must be implemented.

Here too, the energy transition is an opportunity for innovation

and for the transformation of our economic model.

As a liberal, I obviously support free trade.

Since time immemorial, it has supported harmony between peoples

and has brought economic and social progress.

Free trade is virtuous, provided the relation between the parties is fair.

Reciprocity on the basis of strict social and environmental standards must be our goal.

With this in mind, I personally have fought in my country to have CETA signed.

It is in the same spirit that I am defending the concerns of our farmers regarding Mercosur.

Our farmers must not become an adjustable variable.

Healthy public finances, additional investments, jobs and purchasing power.

That's the virtuous equation.

Jean-Claude Juncker's initiative to relaunch investments is essential.

I have also made sure my country joins this dynamic,

with a National Pact for Strategic Investments (€ 60 billion by 2030).

Economic and social development go hand in hand.

Europe's base of social rights is a step forward.

We welcome efforts encouraging convergence in the area of social standards

and strengthening cooperation between Member States (European Employment Authority).

Second requirement: security

Ensuring security means guaranteeing the real freedom of every citizen.

Ensuring security means defending our values of democracy and the rule of law.

Ensuring security is our common responsibility.

We must develop an autonomous and credible response to any form of threat, as soon as possible.

Together, we have already begun to secure our external borders. And we have to go further.

Our security services are cooperating better in combating terrorism. But more remains to be done.

Belgium wants to be a loyal partner within NATO and within the European Union.

We want a real European defence force within NATO (in line with the Warsaw Declaration).

The CFSP and the European Defence Fund are the right instruments for progress.

Our operational capability must serve our values and interests at the international level.

Belgium believes in multilateralism,

but multilateralism is under threat.

Standards and rules of international good conduct are less respected.

Collective action is declining.

Now more than ever we have to think and act globally.

We need to develop a neighbourhood strategy.

We need to better prevent regional conflicts and anticipate their potential consequences.

Sahel, Libya, Syria.... so many major conflicts which seriously impact our future.

We need to develop a stronger geopolitical ambition,

to promote our values and defend our interests in the short, medium and long term.

I...

I have a...

I have a firm conviction.

In this changing world, in which no one can unilaterally impose its point of view,

the European Union has a role to play.

We can be the driving force behind a renewed multilateralism.

We are the motor behind meeting the great challenges of humanity:

peace and security, development, climate change...

Ladies and gentlemen,

Migratory movements are an integral part of human history.

We should not fear them.

We should understand them.

For a long time, Belgium has been implementing a migration policy that combines humanity and firmness.

We combat illegal migration.

It feeds into criminal networks and leads to human tragedies that have no place in our modern times.

But should we not also develop a system of legal and organised migration?

We cannot avoid this debate much longer.

Ladies and gentlemen,

The third requirement is that of European values.

From the outset,

the European Union has been based on common values that transcend our differences and identities.

A history consisting of moments of glory and of tragic suffering.

Intellectual, spiritual and philosophical histories.

Scholars, thinkers, statesmen, revolutions too... Voltaire and Montesquieu, enlightenment...

it is these ingredients that have spawned liberties, democracy and the rule of law.

The European Convention on Human Rights confirms the dignity of each individual.

It is a light that we must cherish and amplify.

More than 70 years ago (in 1946),

Churchill spoke as follows about the failure of the League of Nations

"The League of Nations did not fail because of its principles or conceptions.

It failed because these principles were deserted by those States which brought it into being."

We are committed to democracy and the rule of law at all costs.

For this reason, Belgium proposes setting up a peer review mechanism on the rule of law.

Specifically, the 27 countries would submit themselves to regular scrutiny by the other Member States.

It would be a way for each Member State to look at itself in the mirror.

Ladies and gentlemen, We reject all forms of ignorance.

We want an open society, based on knowledge.

That is why we promote a European culture that respects our different identities and diversity.

We need more exchanges and move beyond university cooperation.

Erasmus needs to be expanded and extended, for example to artists or to the apprenticeship of trades.

Making choices, defining priorities.

Negotiations of the next Financial Perspective will be the opportunity to make choices and define our priorities.

We need to consolidate and modernise common policies, cohesion and support for agricultural policy.

We must also develop new policies: security, innovation or the digital economy, for example.

Above all, we will have to be smarter in our spending.

The same rigour should be applied to the European budget

as is applied by the Commission when it examines our national budgets.

Belgium will not accept any additional efforts that would jeopardize our economic incentive measures.

We have to be realistic.

This proposal is a point of departure.

We will analyse the proposals in detail.

There is no doubt that the negotiations will be hard and intense.

This brings me to the second question.

For any enterprise to be successful, it requires a solid approach.

A revision of the Treaties is not necessary,

in the short or medium term. It would even be counterproductive.

We need to focus all our energy on meeting the requirements I just mentioned.

The Treaties provide for sufficient flexibility to make our actions more effective.

In all of our member states we are faced with economic, social and political realities,

which are sometimes very different.

The deepening of the euro area

or the question of migration have sometimes brought home this reality all too clearly.

I believe profoundly in the virtues of speaking frankly and of negotiation.

We must avoid unspoken thoughts or taboos.

A better understanding between ourselves is indispensable to arrive at widely supported decisions.

We as 27 have to move together.

Our strength lies in our unity.

But not unity at the price of a standstill.

Because standing still inevitably leads to moving backward.

I was among the first to argue for a Europe at multiple speeds.

Not to divide, but rather to speed up our decisions.

Major advances have often been the fruit of an avant-garde:

The euro area, common market, Schengen... A multi-speed Europe is not a Europe of multiple tiers.

When you are a member of the club, you get the benefits,

but you also assume responsibility and restrictions.

Allow those who want to do so, to decide and move forward!

Without forcing those who do not want this or who need more time.

And I regret the hypocrisy of those who systematically turn the EU into a scapegoat

without having the courage to underscore its advances.

We also have to mobilise our fellow citizens.

Avoiding debates in silos.

We have to be open to real life.

Young generations must be at the heart of our concerns.

Young people are our hope and our strength.

Their vitality, their impertinence and their creativity must be encouraged.

And I hope with all my heart they will take their place,

that they take their place in the Citizens' Conventions Initiative.

Ladies and gentlemen,

the European Union represents a unique project in the history of mankind.

It is not perfect and will never be complete.

It is mostly a promise for a better world.

A better world that is based on requirements.

The requirement of prosperity, security and fundamental values.

Putting our public finances in order, engaging in economic and social reforms,

taking measures to promote security and peace are a continuous battle in the interest of the European ideal,

to serve the citizens of Europe.

We need to push a culture focused on results, to roll back the technocracy.

We must above all unleash the exceptional potential of our continent.

The innovation of our researchers,

the creativity of our entrepreneurs,

the dynamism of our start-ups, or the enthusiasm of our universities...,

these are formidable weapons that can serve an optimistic and future-oriented project.

Ladies and gentlemen,

visionary statesmen (the Founding fathers, Jean Monnet, Robert Schuman...) decided to set the first stones

of a project of reconciliation, peace and prosperity.

This required courage, optimism and faith.

Later, building on the ruins of the Berlin wall,

the generation led by Helmut Kohl, François Mitterrand and Jacques Delors decided to forge a strong alliance.

They laid the groundwork for the euro area, opened up the Schengen area,

with tangible progress for our fellow citizens.

And this required courage, optimism and faith.

Our political generation and our citizens' generation

now hold the future of the European dream in their hands.

After the founding fathers, after the generation of builders,

it is up to us to take on our common destiny.

It is up to us to give a new impetus, an impulse.

It is up to us now to make this promise work.

This ideal is based on intangible values that we cherish:

the dignity of every human being, their liberties and their responsibility.

Now we have to show courage, optimism and faith.

Thank you.

Celebrities Who Claim They Were Abducted By Aliens - Duration: 8:18.

As reported by the Huffington Post, Fran Drescher believes she was abducted by ETs, when she

was a teenager.

During a road trip with her father, they both experienced "missing time".

She now has a small scar on her hand, the size of a penny.

According to Drescher, that is where the extraterrestrials, surgically implanted a chip.

She is only one of the celebrities, who claim they were abducted by aliens.

After the breakup of the Beatles, singer/songwriter John Lennon took up residence in New York

City.

He said that in 1975, he was asleep in his bed at the Dakota Building.

He was woken by a blazing light surrounding the door to his suite, coming from the other

side, like a searchlight, or a hallway on fire.

He jumped out of bed, and threw open the door, coming face to face with four entities, who

were like people, but not like people, and they did not want his autograph.

Lennon said they were smaller than humans.

Their features reminded him of insects.

They had large compound eyes, and like roaches, they scuttled past him, into his apartment.

Lennon tried to push them back through the door, but they pushed him back... without

touching him, as if by force of will alone.

At this point the ex-Beatle blacked out.

The next thing he remembers, he was back on the bed, but not under the cover... he was

on top of it.

In his hand he found an object, apparently given to him by the invaders.

It was a solid metal object, in the shape of a tiny Robin's egg.

The egg has survived him to this day.

It is now in the possession of Uri Geller.

Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, is a Republican candidate, running in the midterm elections.

Her son-in-law, Jarrod Agen, is the deputy chief of staff, for Vice President Mike Pence.

If she wins the Florida seat, she will be the first member of the United States Congress,

to have disclosed an encounter with ET's.

She says she was taken aboard a spaceship.

The crew consisted of three beings with large bodies, two females and one male.

They all had blond hair.

They controlled the ship by passing their hands over illuminated rocks, similar to quartz.

She was told by the aliens, that in a cave on the island of Malta, could be found thousands

of non-human skulls.

They also told her, the energy center of the world, is located in Africa.

One of the stars of the original blockbuster movie "Alien", believes that he too was abducted

by extraterrestrials.

Yaphet Kotto, says he really does not care, if anyone thinks he is delusional.

Where one hundred is average, the veteran actor, has an IQ of one hundred and ninety-six.

His close encounters, started when he was nine years old.

He was sitting at the window of his bedroom, in the Bronx, watching kids in the street

playing stickball.

When the young Kotto turned around, a figure was behind him, six feet in height, and with

a head which was elongated.

It leaped behind his back, only to disappear.

As an adult, every time that Yaphet, moved into a new house, he would expect to see a

particular sign, indicating that he had been followed there, by the extraterrestrials.

Sooner or later, a circle of smoke would appear above his home, which did not look like a

cloud.

This would be followed by time loss, during which he suspected, he was taken by the aliens.

When living on location in the Philippines, for the filming of Ridley Scott's science

fiction epic, the ring of smoke appeared again, above his rented bungalow.

Again he saw the vapor, and a UFO, hovering above... as big as Yankee Stadium, turned

upside down.

But this time, the UFO was observed by other people too.

It was seen by the waiters at an outdoor restaurant across the street, and also by Kotto's wife.

Six years ago, the final resting place of Napoleon Bonaparte was exhumed, to determine

if the short height of his body, had been the result of a pituitary disorder.

Instead, researchers found a microchip, one half inch in length, embedded in his vertebrae.

The extent of bone growth surrounding the chip, suggests it was implanted, when Bonaparte

was young.

Is it possible the Emperor of France, was used by extraterrestrials, to alter human history?

Stump Grinding Near an Angry Bull - Duration: 5:51.

you guys remember my buddy Alfred you remember the guy who was like half

wizard and half mason who built the most amazing maple evaporator you'd ever see

find myself pouring some of my waffles paint up I'm a maple man now if I go

back and I pour a little bit on there'd be a lot more more generous with the

application of my syrup these days Alfred's starting a new business venture

where he grinds stumps for people he's got an excavator and he just got this

cool attachment that grinds up the stumps so Alfred's asked me to come over

to a job that he's got this afternoon and help him shoot a commercial so I had

nothing to do so I said sure so let's go shoot a commercial

it's not too bad come a little closer maybe see I'm like directly between yeah

right there yeah that's actually not bad at all hi my name is Alfred Dedam I'm

with old goat masonry here in Peacham, Vermont

looking to get into the stump grinding business this is actually a stumper 280

stump grinder excavator mounted stump grinder

allows for some pretty tidy stump grinding we're here impeach them today

with this old maple stump I don't know how long this trees been cut down but

it's a decent roughly 3 feet in diameter what I'll do in this situation is grind

this thing down flush with the surrounding lawn clear the chips away

from the stump and then I'll take another path to get it down ground down

about 6 to 8 inches below grade so that we can just top dress with with soil and

not have any stump whatsoever above grade so most folks end up with stumps

in the yard learn to live with them learn to walk by them without noticing

them it can be a production you know in traditional methods that to get rid of

the stump my attraction to this this machine this setup right here is how

low-impact and how quickly I can I can remove the stump

kind of makes you hope the wire's live right all right let's shoot the

conclusion this stump took probably fifty minutes of grinding in the

excavator Spurs I can tell it's all below grade right now so the next thing

I'll do is put on the big bucket clean up the chips make sure that

yeah I've never seen I've never seen a bowl behave like that

it's rather disconcerting

it always feels good to help out your friends and so Alfred's just a really

good dude and helping to make a commercial like this yeah that's the

type of stuff I like you you know in case you guys were wondering all the

wood chips that came from that ground-up stump they ended up going up on our

pasture I'll use them for the fall do you guys have a stump that needs to be

ground or some mason work that needs to be done be sure to hit up my buddy

Alfred I'm gonna leave a link down below to his

website for Old Goat Masonry be sure to check it out

4Sight - In Russia with Love - What I got up to - Duration: 3:22.

So what did I actually do, what was my life like?

Well I spent a lot of time with University students we did things like English clubs

We are extremely fortunate that our language...

is an international language and people want to know it

We are so fortunate we can fly almost anywhere in the world and there will be people that speak English

People who want to speak English

And so I was able to kind of communicate in spite of my lack of Russian

And we introduced them to some traditional English concepts

I remember one year we had an Easter Egg hunt we painted eggs and scattered them around the local park

I don't know what all the people passing by thought the heck we were doing

But it was just lovely to see them engage with something that we hadn't done since we were kids

And we did English Movie Night

Annoyingly for me all the movies in Russia are dubbed and not subtitled

So I never went to cinema because I would never really follow anything

And so a lot of the Western movies that the students we met were familiar with had all been dubbed

And so for example Back to the Future they knew it very well

but they'd never heard the voice of Christopher Lloyd and Michael J Fox

and so we were like well let's watch this movie that you know but you don't actually know

because you haven't seen the genuine performances

And that was a way of bridging that divide

we also did this thing called 'Dushevny Razgovor' or Soul Talk

Russians have this very developed but indistinct concept of 'dusha' or soul, this spiritual side

And each fortnight we'd have a cafe...

where we would we take a topic like friendship or love or war or death

Quite profound topics of interest and we would explore that through film and video and poetry and literature

And somebody would give a testimony about how their Christian faith related to that particular topic

And we would talk about it

I'm a videographer I'm filming this right now

Video has always been part of my life even when I haven't been doing it professionally

and it was part of my life there

I was a camera person at an international conference that we had for staff all across Eastern Europe

which was a lot of fun

And I also once got chucked off Red Square with my camera for looking too...

Well you say spy, actually I had I had one student who...

Unless this was kind of a level of kind of subtle humour that I never got

he genuinely seemed to think that I was a spy and he would ask me several times, "Are you a spy?"

And I would be like, "Well no, but if I was I wouldn't tell you when you wouldn't believe me

So to this day - Vova if you're watching - I'm not a spy

But yes, got chucked off Red Square for looking too professional

by which I mean I had a monopod on the bottom of the camera, they were that kind of twitchy

but I got around it because I stood just outside the bollards

The guy I was filming stood on Red Square and we got our shot

That was part 5 of this 4sight talk

Creole Sausage and Eggs – Low Carb Keto Breakfast Brunch Recipe Ideas - Duration: 3:12.

Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present my Creole sausage and eggs. This is one

of my favorite one pot recipes. With a zesty tomato cream sauce and just a hint

of spice, this recipe offers a perfect balance for any breakfast, brunch or

dinner. Let's get started. To a skillet on medium-high heat, add 8 ounces of loose

breakfast sausage. Cook until browned; breaking it up into little pieces as it

cooks.

When done, remove the sausage to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Using the

same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Now add some diced green

onions; celery; and bell pepper. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until softened. Add

some minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds more. To the vegetables, add 2

cups of original V8 tomato juice. Now add salt; ground black pepper; oregano; some

dried basil; garlic powder; just a little bit of red pepper flakes; some prepared

horseradish; and finally a little heavy cream. Give a mix to combine. Let come to

a simmer and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes to allow all the flavors to come

together. To help thicken our sauce we'll mix in one large egg yolk. Now return the

cooked sausage to the sauce and give a mix to coat. Now the sausage and sauce

serves four, but you can cook as many eggs per serving as you like. Here on the

right, you'll see I'm doing 2 eggs per serving on some. And on the left, only one.

The choice is completely up to you. Season the eggs with a little salt and a

little black pepper. Now cover and cook. Here's another choice for you. If you

like your yolks a little runny, cook for about seven and a half minutes, if you

prefer a more cooked yolk, about eight and a half to nine minutes. Plate in a

shallow dish or bowl. Add a little dried parsley for garnish and enjoy! There you

have it folks! My Creole sausage and eggs. The perfect

recipe for any breakfast, brunch or dinner. I hope you enjoyed this video. If

you did, please like and consider subscribing. Thanks for watching and I'll

see you next time!
