GOKU and VEGETA meet BROLY - Dragon Ball Super - Duration: 6:17.Hello Zeta warriors, today we are going to talk about of the Dragon Ball super movie, next
to debut. Will Goku and Vegeta defeat to Broly ?. let's discover it today, in this video.
so, leave your like, and let's start.
Much has been speculated about what will happen in Broly's first official film,
since the second trailer of the movie, He left many questions to solve. between
them, the most remarkable, is the incredible power that they have granted to the Super Saiyayin
legendary, the great Broly. which, he has called the attention of all the fans, given that,
in this movie, they have put Broly, in a level Superior to that of the gods of destruction.
So, it is a power that does not can go unnoticed, because it exceeds with
you grow the power of Goku and Vegeta. and that we show it, when Broly in the base state,
is able to overcome Goku in Super Saiyayín Blue
We know, that the power of a super Saiyayin Blue, is very high, then,
we could get an idea of the impressive power that they have given to Broly, who in state
base, is able to overcome the force, not one, but two Super Saiyayin Blue, and
of Frízer in Golden state.
Because in the trailer we are shown that none of them could stop the mighty Broly, and
the best part, is when before finalizing the trailer, Broly shows us his maximum
power, and leaves Goku completely terrified, who is surprised to see that the power he expels
Broly, surpasses the limits of reality, and positions it at a level superior to that of
the gods of destruction, and it becomes practically unattainable for Goku and Vegeta insofar
to power
Which, leads us to raise some possible options that our friends have to beat
to Broly. The most accepted theory is that of possible return of the Ultra instinct. either,
dominated by Goku, or by Vegeta.
But how likely is this to happen?
The answer is, that the possibilities of that the selfish doctrine returns, there are many.
given that, in the power tournament, the Ultra instinct had a lot of acceptance, and it was
one of the skills most admired by the Goku fans.
So, the return of the Ultra instinct, It would be something totally epic.
On the other hand, for those who do not know, this movie should be considered as the first
Once Goku and Vegeta will see Broly. by Therefore, this Broly will be totally different
of the Broly we knew, in terms of power and design, since, this is the design that
Broly must have according to Akira Toriyama, and Personally, I think it's a spectacular design.
On the other hand, remember that, in this movie, The enigmatic legendary Super Saiyayin,
He will become a canonical character. by way of that, we can not compare it with the old Broly,
Well, this new and renewed Broly, has a power without limits. a power that is capable
put the two saiyayins in trouble powerful we knew, Goku and Vegeta.
Now, let's ask ourselves the following. will be able Goku and Vegeta, defeat Broly ?.
The answer is that probably yes.
Whether dominating the perfect Ultra instinct, or merging, Goku and Vegeta will try
to find a way to beat Broly, and it's Very likely they will.
But, if they do not succeed, we could face the eventual victory of Broly in a movie,
and this would give rise, so that the history of the movie, have continuity in the new
Dragon Ball saga super, which will debut By mid 2019. So, any
thing could happen in this movie.
However, remember that most likely is that Goku and Vegeta manage to
defeat Broly.
Before finishing the video I propose this challenge, write in the comments the names
of your favorite Dragon Ball characters, and you can be greeted in the next video.
Remember that I asked Shenlong that the that saw this video subscribe to me
channel.
If you are a true dragon ball fan, answer in the comments, who is this character?
The character of the previous video was: if you guessed right, You are a true dragon ball fan.
It's time for greetings, a very special greeting for:
Until the next zeta warriors.

Don't 'Do' NVC - Duration: 1:55.- So we've just come in for day two of our workshop
our Nonviolent Communication Foundation Training.
And Michaela was just, I said how'd it go last night,
Michaela was just sharing something
I think's really really important to remember
when we're using, using - Using.
- NVC with anyone really.
So what did you say, you went home last night and --
- So I went home last night and my husband
had gotten home from work and he was very curious
about the course so I started sort of telling him,
but I didn't have my notes in front of me
so it was a bit from my memory.
And then I realised that I,
then we started kind of trying to do it a bit,
and I realised that I got so confused
because I was actually in my head
trying to work out what he was feeling,
and I realised I wasn't in my body at all,
for the whole thing.
And we ended up kind of just hugging,
and going okay, let's talk about this another time.
But I just realised I really was not feeling
into what I needed and I was also maybe
imagining what I needed as well.
Like fabricating something, rather than actually
just going in and trusting.
- Yeah, and that's one of the core things with NVC,
is that it's like how do we be home in our own body
and our heart but actually in our body be present,
rather than up here thinking about.
Because this is the disconnect,
but here we're speaking from an authentic place.
So it's like being NVC, not doing NVC.
Yeah. - Yeah.
- So I'm so glad that you picked that up
and you were able to come back to,
"Let's talk about this tomorrow."
Yeah, it's a connection.
Yeah thanks.
- My pleasure.

How Unai Emery's Playing Style Will Make Aubameyang And Ozil Lose Form - Duration: 2:33.Arsenal has changed it's playing style under Unai Emery so we take a look at how this will affect players like Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil
The gunners have so far played three Premier League matches and they have only been able to win one of them but the Arsenal fans are positive things will change to good but Unai Emery's playing style might make some players lose form according to our analysis
So let's take a look at the players who might not impress under the playing style which Unai Emery wants to introduce at the Emirates Stadium
(1) Mesut Ozil. The German international has not impressed for the gunners in their matches against Manchester City and Chelsea, even though one would say that Ozil is usually not at his best when Arsenal is playing against a big team but it seems he can't manage pressing the opponents as Unai Emery wants because he is a bit weak and very slow at running back, tackling, he is just not good at recovering the ball
So Unai Emery will need to hope that Mesut Ozil gets used to his playing style soon because the German international will lose form because he can't manage it
(2) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Arsenal record signing arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window but he has become a fan favourite at the club already due to his glamours CV
Unai Emery has insisted that he wants his players to be playing from the back but the problem has been that the ball doesn't reach the striker ( Aubameyang) because they aren't used to playing in a such way so they end up losing the ball half way
The ball not reaching the foward like Aubameyang means he will have less chances of scoring yet the Gabon international would be more deadly if in a team that plays long balls and he has the advantage of being fast
It will be interesting to see if Unai Emery will be able to make these two players integrate into his new playing style but it will however take time if he succeeds

5 Habits That Will Make Your Average Day Happier - Duration: 12:21.This is a copy of my tax return from 2010,
just eight short years ago.
And it says that during the course of that year,
I made a grand total $9,226.
Contrast that to last year, 2017
where I made easily more than 10 times that amount
and with that increase in income
came some lifestyle upgrades.
Back then, I lived in a cramped dorm room
and I had to share it with another person
and beyond that, I had to share a bathroom
with 43 other guys in my hall compared to today
where I've got a two bedroom apartment
where I actually got my own bathroom,
it's pretty fancy I know.
And I've got a pretty good view as well.
Also back then, I ate all of my meals in the cafeteria
or I made microwaved chicken nuggets,
yes I know, those are very unhealthy,
whereas today I can actually buy
pretty much whatever I want,
I can cook fancy food, I can go out to eat more often.
So there's been a big improvement
on the dining out front as well.
When I look at my life now versus back then,
there is no question that things
have improved across the board.
Yet in my many ways, I'm no happier now
than I was back then.
I'm certainly a happy person but then again,
I always kinda have been.
So what's the deal here?
I've made all this progress, I've put in all this work
but for what exactly?
This is the question that deserves a closer look.
As my experience is not at all uncommon,
in fact, it's near universal.
In general, people do not find themselves happier
on a day to day basis as a result of getting promoted,
making more money or making other life upgrades
like buying a bigger house or getting a better car.
Instead, we find that as our lives improve,
our desires, tastes, and expectations rise to match.
The result is a sort of happiness equilibrium.
This effect has been called
the hedonic treadmill or hedonic adaptation.
And a lot of psychological research
has gone into this concept in the recent past
but it's definitely not a new thing.
As Saint Augustine put it, "A true saying it is,
"desire hath no rest, is infinite in itself, endless,
"and as one calls it, a perpetual rack, or horse-mill."
That quote is over 400 years old
and honestly, we've probably been thinking
about this concept for as long as our brains
have been capable of introspective thought.
Still, it's easy to forget it, to get caught up
dreaming about just how awesome life would be
if we had just a little bit more money
or just a bit more space.
And of course, the modern world is all too eager
to bolster these kinds of thoughts.
As Daniel Kahneman, the father of behavioral economics
and the author of the book Thinking Fast and Slow puts it,
"People are exposed to many messages
"that encourage them to believe
"that a change of weight, scent, hair color,
"or coverage, car, clothes, or many other aspects
"will produce a market improvement in their happiness.
"Our research suggests a moral and a warning.
"Nothing that you focus on will make
"as much difference as you think."
But what if you actually do want to maximize your happiness?
Or to phrase that question in a way that appeals to me more,
how do you improve your average day?
If getting a bigger house or making more money
or getting more awards and accolades won't do it,
then what will?
Well this is the kind of question
that will get you a million different kinds of answers.
Some will recommend minimalism,
some will recommend different life philosophies
or religious, and some will recommend
spending more time jumping on trampolines
which I hardly agree with.
But here, I simply wanna suggest five changes
that you can start making to your life
that in my experience actually do improve
the average day to day experience and make it a happier one.
First, and I think most importantly,
give yourself time to tinker, explore, and play,
or protect that time if you currently have it.
One thing that a lot of people start losing
as they get older is this unstructured time
where they can tinker and explore,
and this is something that has happened to me
for sure in the past few years.
As I moved further into my career,
become more successful, made more money,
all these kinds of things, I found that my schedule
has a lot less time for this kind of exploration.
I have a lot of things that are pre-planned
that I have to do and there's certainly
lots of external rewards for doing those things
but I found that I don't feel I have the time anymore
to spend an afternoon figuring out how to set up an Arduino
or how to code something just because it seems interesting.
And when your entire daily schedule
is pre-planned and you feel like
you're just some sort of regimented robot,
things can start to get a little bit depressing.
So protect that time.
Actually I read an article in QZ just the other day
saying that doctors are now prescribing play
for children because parents are in this mad dash
to over schedule their kids' lives.
They get them signed up for school,
and music lessons, and sports, and all kinds of stuff
to the point where there's never any moment
where the kid can just go outside and do whatever they want.
And I don't wanna knock the good intentions
of these parents, they think that what they're doing
is going to prepare their children for the future
and give them a leg up.
But as science has found recently, play is very important.
So if you are a parent, give your kid unstructured time
but even if you aren't, protect your own.
Play isn't something that benefits only children,
it also benefits adults, it's useful at any age.
Secondly, make sure that you're staying physically active
and make that physical activity fun.
We are built to move, we are built to exercise,
we have these bodies that are adapted
for working and moving through an environment.
So if you're constantly sitting around,
whether it'd be through work of whether
it'd be coming home and watching Netflix
or playing video games at the end of the night,
you're naturally going to start feeling less and less happy.
Now when people are told to exercise,
their brains usually go to things like
running on a treadmill, or getting a gym membership,
things that feel like an obligation.
So what I'm going to suggest for you here
is to find something that you truly enjoy doing
that's fun but it still gets you heart rate up.
For me right now, that's rock climbing and mountain biking
and I still also love going to the arcades to play DDR.
I found lots of ways to exercise
that I'm truly excited to do every single day
and that makes my day to day experience a much better one.
So you should do the same.
Alright, tip number three is to work to minimize
things in your daily life that you don't like.
Instead of asking yourself how do I get the bigger house,
how do I get the better car?
How do I get that next thing that seems
like it's going to improve my life exponentially?
Ask yourself, what do I have to do everyday
that kind of annoys me?
Now I can probably make an entire video
listing off examples here so I'm just going to give you one.
If you have a long commute and bumper to bumper traffic
that you absolutely hate doing,
then how could you kind of take that out of your life
or at least make it better?
One suggestion would be to actually change
the time at which you make that commute.
A lot of people can meet during rush hour
because they wanna get up at a certain time,
they might wanna workout at home and then go to work
but what if you got up maybe an hour earlier
and then you drove to work at 6AM
when there's nobody else on the road
or maybe instead of driving to work,
you ditched the card altogether and biked to work.
We actually just got an office a couple of weeks ago
and I found that it took me about 15 minutes
to drive to work in regular traffic
but only 17 to ride my bike there
so really just a two-minute difference.
And if you factor in the time it takes me to drive
through the garage and find a parking spot,
biking is actually faster, not to mention more fun.
So whatever it is, analyze the things
that annoy you and start to look for ways
that you can either remove those things from your life
or optimize them and make them a bit more bearable.
Tip number four is to take the occasional big break.
This could be taking a vacation or inviting a friend
to come stay with you and doing some different activities
in your own home but you need to break yourself
out of your routine every once in a while.
And this is something that I am pretty bad at.
I get a lot of things on my plate and I feel like
I don't have time to take a vacation or that I need
to optimize travel by you know,
scheduling a bunch of business trips
instead of just vacations.
But when you actually take a vacation,
you get a mental reset.
And that mental reset sort of revitalizes
your brain's ability to work effectively
and makes you overall happier.
So if you have the time, or even if you don't feel
you have the time, find the time to take these big breaks.
They don't have to take a lot of money,
they don't have to involve a ton of travel,
they just need to get you out of your normal routine
and have you do something different.
Now we've got one more tip that I wanna share with you here
which is really, really important
but before I share it, I do wanna also share an observation
about something that is not going to make you happy.
So if you think about the hedonic treadmill,
if you think about the fact that these increases
in your life and whatever areas they may come from
aren't going to make you happier on a day to day basis,
then it becomes pretty clear that a lot of the reasons
that we use social media for
such as growing our follower account
or getting more retweets or likes,
all these things aren't going to make you happy.
And I think this bears mentioning
because the people, the engineers, the product designers
who are behind these companies are paid huge salaries
to design these apps in a way
that makes them essentially addicting,
that makes them feel like
they are going to make you happier.
But from personal experience,
I can tell you that your average day to day happiness
is not going to change when you go
from two likes per tweet to 100 likes per tweet.
It really doesn't make a difference.
So yes, use social media to bring about certain benefits,
you can make new relationships through it,
you can bolster your career through it,
but don't be chasing those vanity metrics,
the likes and the retweets and the followers,
because they will not make you happy.
But what will make you happy, which is our final tip here
is face to face interaction
with other people on a daily basis.
I really wanna mention this explicitly
because a lot of people are content
to have digital relationships, to IM people,
to talk to people over Skype or play games together,
and these things are all great
and they can forge good friendships
but nothing replaces actually seeing people face to face
and doing things with them in real life.
Now with all this talk about the hedonic treadmill
and how all these progressions aren't going
to necessarily improve your day to day life
in the way that you think they will,
I do think it bears mentioning
that I am not suggesting you abandon all of your goals,
sell your possessions and go live
in a mountain as an ascetic.
Unless you want to, I mean that could be pretty cool.
I think Martin would wanna do it.
But seriously, the fact that increasing your income
or getting a promotion at your job,
or getting a better house won't necessarily
improve your day to day happiness
as much as you think it will,
doesn't mean that these goals aren't worthwhile.
For one, achieving those goals
might lead to opening doors that actually could lead
to day to day happiness improvements.
But a more important point is this,
I believe that an integral part of being happy
is the very process of evolving and progressing.
Humans beings are built to explore,
to test their limits, to constantly try new things.
We are not happy being stagnant.
As Ray Dalio put it, "Evolving is life's greatest
"accomplishment and its greatest reward."
Now one area where progression and evolution
tend to bring pretty quick happiness improvements
is in creative expression.
In fact, I find that I'm much happier
when I figure out how to, say, film something really cool
like this slow mo shot or learn a new editing technique.
And the great thing is these improvements
in creative expression tend to come
a lot more frequently than big career jumps.
So if you wanna further improve your average day,
find a way to get creative.
You could do it the way that I do it
through making videos, or playing music,
or the way that my best friend Martin does it
through macro photography or in many other fields out there
that you probably haven't discovered yet.
And if you wanna accelerate your skill development
in the field that you choose
and master new techniques quickly, check out Skillshare.
Skillshare has an expensive catalog
of over 20,000 courses and tons of different topic areas
like digital animation, video editing,
drawing, and business, and lots more.
Their courses are also hands-on,
almost always including a sample project
that you can sink your teeth into
so you can start learning actively.
Now one course that I wanna highlight for you this week
is the Fundamentals of DSLR Photography by Justin Bridges.
Photography has a ton of disciplines,
yes, there's macro photography,
there's landscapes and portraits,
but all of these disciplines rely
on a fundamental foundation of camera skills,
aperture, lighting, ISO, shutter speed.
And Justin's course goes through all of these
different techniques along with recommendations
of what camera gear you should buy in the first place
and the best settings to use.
So if you wanna start working through Justin's course,
or any of the other courses in Skillshare's catalog,
then click the link in the description

Okay, next up we have standing abductors your abs are going to be tight you're going to put that weight on your thigh
And raise your leg your hand is just there to support the weight
If you're not using weights use your hands to press down against your thigh as your own resistance, you know what I mean?
Let's go
If you're using weights your leg is still doing all the work
The weights are just your hand is just there to keep the weight in position
If you're not using weights, you want to literally press against your thigh as it's trying to go up
So your hand is your own resistance. I know that made sense. Let's just let's just survive this before we do the other side
Good same thing on the other side
Abs are engaged do your best
One side is going to be easier than the other if you need to hold on to something do that. I'm not judging you
I'm here to help you make it to the end because you got this. Let's go
There you go, you look good
This is a tough one. This is a tough one. So go at your own pace
Don't try to keep up with me you do you?
Your pace is good. Just do your best. That's all you can do
Just a few more seconds yeah, keep going
Okay, we're going to do is squat
If you do not have weights do the version on the right
With your hand behind your head. If you do have squats hold the weight the way you see me do and let's drop into it
Don't worry about doing squats in this workout
We're going to do enough squats to get your quads tired and to be your insurance policy
But we're not gonna be working your thighs too much in this workout. We're about to hit those glutes really hard
So just do what you can
Make sure you suck your stomach in good
Good
When you go down pretend you're sitting back into a chair
Good
You look good. That was that's amazing. You're doing so good
Okay
Dumbbell swings if you don't have weights do the version on the right if you have a weight to the version on the left
The key here is when you are standing up squeeze your booty
Your butt should be what your propulsion engine. That's right
Good make sure you hold on tight to that dumbbell if you're using one. I don't want you breaking any windows
If you're not using weights just clasp your hands together and do the same movement just without the weights
You look amazing keep going keep going you got this you got this
All right, we're gonna do standing kickbacks. You're going to hold onto a wall and
Put that weight on the back of your thigh. And then extend your leg your hand is just there to support the weight
It's not there to do any work your legs and booty should be lifting this weight
If you're not using weights you're going to use your hand to push back against your leg as you raise it
So your hand is your resistance?
It's a logic
Let's go
Hey you're doing amazing
We're gonna do the other leg now same logic are you ready? Let's go
Do your best after this you have one more exercise and you get a break
All right last move glute bridges if you have weights you want to put it on your hips
Squeeze your glutes to go up your hand is just supporting the weight
If you don't have weights do the same movement just very slowly and you hold at the top if you don't have weights
Good really squeeze those glutes to go up good
And just use your hands to gently support the weight
If you're using weights, you're not using weights again do slow and steady and hold at the top. Oh
This is so good, this is the B exercise you want to make sure
That you do your best you under your best for all of them, but for glute bridges extra
We're gonna keep this short and sweet right here for YouTube
But if you want the full 30-minute version of this workout an easy workout schedule

Access to all sorts of workout programs from me visit my website at cocoa fitness calm and follow the easy directions on the home page
You're just going to cross your legs and fold board best you can
Make sure you listen to your body go to your own range of motion
That was so good
When you're ready I want you to slowly stand up put a slight bend in your knee and give yourself a huge hug
You worked you worked hard today. I am so excited for you

Arsenal EPL Position After Three Weeks As Unai Emery's Reign Begins - Duration: 2:15.Unai Emery has been at the Emirates Stadium for just three months and the gunners are currently in the 10th position after three weeks into the new season
It's been three weeks since the 2018/19 Premier League campaign begun and it's been a frustrating one for the Arsenal fans so far because their club has only won once in its first three matches
Arsenal 0 Vs 2 Manchester City ( Week one ).The season begun with a loss for Unai Emery as Manchester City defeated his team 2 nil on the season opening match
Arsenal fans were too disappointed with the result but didn't want to start to criticize Unai Emery right away since it was his first Premier League match
Chelsea 3 Vs 2 Chelsea ( Week two ).Arsenal fans were expecting an improved performance from their first match when they made a visit to the Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea
It was however another disappointing loss even though they finally scored for the first time this season through Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Arsenal 3 Vs 1 West Ham United ( Week three ).Arsenal came into this match well knowing that it would be a disaster for their new manager, Unai Emery if they lost because the fans were not happy that the gunners lost their first two matches of the season, but the players didn't disappoint Unai Emery as they got their first win of the season against the hammers
Here's the Arsenal position on the Premier League table.Arsenal position: 10th.Points: 3
Goals: -1.The Premier League will be back after two weeks since the players are going back to their countries to represent their national teams since club football has gone to a break

My Thoughts on Adventure Time Ending - Duration: 4:25.In a nutshell,
Pendleton Ward's Adventure Time is a cartoon about a human boy
and his shapeshifting dog.
That's what Adventure Time means to a lot of people.
But if you're someone like me,
who's grown up watching Adventure Time and come to love it a lot,
it means lot more.
For me, and every other hardcore Adventure Time fan,
it's been really hard to grasp the fact that Adventure Time's final episode is coming next week.
And what's worse is that the treatment Adventure Time
has been receiving from Cartoon Network over the past
couple of years is not great.
Production for the series officially ended on
November 16th of last year,
and Cartoon Network has been delaying the final episode a lot.
Cartoon Network doesn't promote Adventure Time, like, at all anymore.
The last episode bomb,
Blenanas,
Jake the Starchild,
Temple of Mars and Gumbaldia,
premiered with just over half a million views,
which is terrible!
After the Islands and Elements miniseries concluded,
Cartoon Network just decided to mess around with the episode ordering.
Season 7 officially ends with the episodes Preboot and Reboot,
and Season 8 officially ends with the episode Three Buckets.
Cartoon Network changed the Season 7 finale to
The Thin Yellow Line and the last episode of season 8 to The Light Cloud.
Then they made Orb the first episode of season 9 and
Three Buckets the last episode of season 9.
The official order set by the Adventure Time crew makes a lot more sense
than Cartoon Network's messed up order,
and I personally use the official order.
Also, you may have heard that earlier this year
Cartoon Network released some pretty major
Steven Universe spoilers in a YouTube video,
and I'm really scared that this will happen with Adventure Time's finale,
but more on this later.
About a month and a half ago,
at San Diego Comic Con, Adventure Time's last panel was held.
At the panel, there were songs, Q&A, and, of course,
some of the people behind Adventure Time
including executive producer Adam Muto,
voice actors Jeremy Shada,
John DiMaggio,
Olivia Olson,
Hynden Walch,
Tom Kenny,
and Niki Yang,
and songwriter Rebecca Sugar.
Also at the panel, the airdate for the series finale was finally announced.
[DRUMROLL]
"I have the actual release date of The Ultimate Adventure"
"and it is..."
"...September 3rd!"
And at the end of the panel,
Rebecca Sugar, creator of Steven Universe,
played a song she wrote for the final episode
with the name 'Time Adventure'.
♫
♫ Time is an illusion than helps things make sense ♫
♫ So we're always living in the present-tense ♫
♫ It seems unforgiving when a good thing ends... ♫
[MUSIC FADES BACK IN]
During the song, many people in the panel were crying
simply because the song is so beautiful.
God, even I was crying when I first watched it,
and I know for sure that I'll cry when I watch the last episode.
Adventure Time means that much to me.
The final episode is having a special screening in Sydney on September 4th,
and in LA probably the time this video is published.
I don't like this though.
I mean, I'm fine with the one on September 4th,
but I'm not at all okay with a screening on the 27th because
that's before the official airdate,
and I'm really scared about spoilers this week,
so I'm staying well away from reddit until I watch the episode.
I've been in denial about Adventure Time's conclusion
since it was announced nearly two years ago,
and the panel at Comic Con was kind of a wake up call for me,
and I've been more upset about it ending now more than I've ever been.
"I think the uh..."
"...the show evolved so much that from the first season"
"I would have never imagined that we"
"touched on as much as we did."
"So, um, how it grew..."
"I am happy with the way that the ending turned out, "
"but from the beginning I never thought it would go that route."
♫
Adventure Time isn't just about a boy and his dog
saving princesses from wizards and such.
It's so much more than that.
It's got great characters and stories,
and it's just packed with a lot of emotion.
The first few seasons were a bit silly,
cringey and off-putting,
but that doesn't make it a bad show.
Episodes like I Remember You,
Escape From the Citadel,
Varmints
and Music Hole
each in a way define what this cartoon really is.
Think about it,
all alone in a stomach full of acid
Mommy! Mommy, mommy help me!
Billy is that you?
Mommy you sound exactl--
Mommy you sound exactly like--
Mommy you sound exactly like me!
Billy!
Aaah!

Letters to an Asexual #61 (A Term for Non-Aces?) - Duration: 20:05.Hello folks, it's swankivy, bringing you another Letters to an Asexual.
This is Number 61.
Today I'm going to talk to you about a subject that is actually legitimately worth discussing,
but I'm going to use a really rude letter to do it.
Uh, the subject I'm going to cover is what do you call people who are not asexual.
This is actually a problem that we've dealt with a lot in our community, and I'm not gonna
go into it too much in my introduction, because uh, due to the content of the conversation
that I had with one of my commenters, I end up explaining a lot of this pretty thoroughly.
So I am going to just start with his comment, and uh, this was left in the comments of one
of my videos, I don't remember which one, and um, it was one of the viewers I had, he
commented on several of my videos, and I'm pretty sure he left quite a few relatively
annoying comments, just, I hate to say that about somebody who's been watching my stuff
and thinks that he's just sharing his opinions, but he was always coming across really combative,
and almost, uh, because he was an older person who had identified as some kind of asexual
for a really long time, he, he's kind of possessive about asexuality, and he thinks the rest of
us are kind of upstarts, which is a little bit strange for, you know, somebody who has
been working with communities for awareness activism and spreading information about asexuality,
uh, really since I came to know myself as asexual, which I couldn't really do it before
that.
Uh, you know, I happened to be, what, 14 or 15 when I first started to get an inkling
that maybe I was asexual, and you know, what all could I really do if I wasn't born yet
at the time that he was associating with, um, broader queer groups and uh, kinda staking
some claim for asexuality in his own way.
He uh, he kinda comes across as feeling like he has some claim to originality or uh, some
kind of authority to tell us how we're supposed to do it, even though what he was doing was
not recognized by any large group of people as, like, "the way."
Um, which, I have kind of mixed feelings about that, because I think as queer people we need
to know our history, and we can't overlook some of the early developments even if they
don't quite fit into the framework of how we see things today.
Um, but I do think that, you know, when you start talking to somebody who is trying to
rub that in your face to argue about legitimacy with you, that is where it gets really pointless.
So I don't really care who was here first or how old you are.
I care about authentic, respectful discussion.
So as you will see here, I didn't really quite get that from this person, I think he was
trying, but um, I couldn't really get on the same level with him because he was too busy,
uh, yelling at me about, like, imagined slights that didn't come out of my mouth.
So first, I got this comment from saying, "In your book you often use the term 'non-asexual.'
Is this an academic term or your own?
If it is an academic term, then fine.
But it looks a bit clunky as a double negative.
Why not just 'sexual'?"
And here's my response.
"There are a number of reasons why I choose to use 'non-asexual' to describe people who
aren't asexual.
There is no universally accepted term as of this writing.
The main reason I cannot 'just use sexual' is that many people who aren't asexual have
vehemently objected to being called this--most notably survivors of sexual assault and women
of color who feel it sexualizes them (possibly even in a triggery way) or makes them feel
gross to be referred to as 'sexual people.'
It's not for me to decide whether that's reasonable.
I just listen.
Furthermore, there are people who are demisexual or graysexual or otherwise in a gray area
who sometimes do feel sexual attraction and therefore might be included when you say 'sexual,'
but are still in the asexual community.
My use of 'non-asexual' is meant to encapsulate anyone who is not under the asexual umbrella.
The main objections to using 'non-asexual' seem to be a) it's clunky and b) we really
should name the majority (the way trans folks have encouraged the use of 'cis' for non-trans
people).
So far no term the asexual community has come up with has been deemed acceptable to non-asexual
people--they have vocally rejected every suggestion for one reason or another--and the most common
term, 'allosexual,' has been rejected by one of the people who popularized its use in the
first place for some good reasons.
Ultimately I choose 'clunky' over actively hurting people, and it's at least not unclear.
Obviously some non-asexual people have no trouble with the term 'sexual' and use it
themselves, but I'd rather err on the side of caution."
So he comes back with this response: "Reason B and the use of cis.
I hate the use with a passion because it usually is used as a slur.
But it has been imposed on non-trans and accepted.
So trying to find a word acceptable to non-asexuals should be treated with the same degree of
imposition.
Being invisible, we should be more pushy, if we do not then we remain invisible.
Be we ever so humble."
And I replied, "I disagree vehemently that cis is 'usually used as a slur.'
A slur is something that has been used in association with marginalization and oppression,
and cis people are not oppressed by trans people for being cis.
Someone using it to speak poorly of cis people (regardless of whether they deserve it in
whatever situation) is not the same as using a slur.
There isn't anything wrong with naming the majority, but there also isn't anything wrong
with pointing out that a group with institutional power over a minority has done awful things
to them (collectively), and usually when I see people claiming cis is a slur, it's because
they don't like being painted with the same brush as people who have done gross things
to trans people because of their transness.
I can accept statements like 'white people are awful' or 'cis people need to shut up'
or 'ugh abled people need to stop,' because I recognize that if I'm not doing the bad
thing, this wasn't directed at me.
(They don't need to put the qualifier 'some' in front of it for me to understand this,
and it gives me pause in the majority groups I'm in to think about whether I have done
the thing or contribute to others doing the thing uncritically instead of just giving
myself a pass automatically).
I also disagree that we should impose anything on anyone just because we perceive that someone
did it to us along another axis.
Especially since bulldozing over sexual assault survivors and people of color who have been
sexualized against their will is not an acceptable sacrifice in my opinion.
The problems people have with 'non-asexual' are much lesser, despite the problems that
do exist.
Hopefully one day there will be a term.
I'm not interested in being the one to coin it."
So he replies.
And he says, "I think you got my context wrong.
The slur has always been used by other cis people against cis.
The three trans people I personally know never refer to non-trans as cis.
They, like us, hide, but deliberately so, for obvious reasons, attention is not what
they want.
The tit for tat reason is not what I meant.
'Cis' was implemented using LGBT pressure, a much bigger entity than trans alone.
We are not part of LGBT, have never been, just an ally, have been for 31 years that
I know.
This, after being removed from a pride march in 1985 (I was too normal), Simon--" I don't
know who Simon is, "Simon was furious about that as he asked me to attend and took it
personally so became an ally for us in the LGBT community here before leaving 15 years
ago to avoid all the drama.
Our presence has diminished for the last 15–20 years.
The difference is now we are branded special snowflakes or attention seekers, which I argue
with passionately.
Too many genders shouting for attention, we are lost in the cacophony.
On a lighter note, I'll be giving a selected reading of your book to my little band of
asexual friends since 1998 (we meet on conference call every month)."
So I replied to that, and I said, "I don't know any trans people who call cis people
'non-trans,' but some people who are not cis also don't like to be called 'trans' (while
others do), so I just use what people ask me to use.
I have certainly seen the 'you're just special snowflakes' nonsense used against the asexual
community by some people both inside and outside LGBTQ, and I have also seen some asexual people
who have had 'cishet' tossed at them as a label for someone who doesn't belong, but
it's not the 'cis' part of that that isn't accurate for cis asexual people--it's the
'het' (which implies heterosexual, which together with 'cis' is used as a shorthand for someone
who doesn't experience any ill effects from society over their orientation, and of course
in our case that is not true).
I don't see the connection between that and 'cis is a slur,' nor do I think asexual lack
of acceptance is the fault of 'too many genders shouting for attention,' nor do I think anyone
needing attention and support for their gender differences should be portrayed as diverting
it from us with the implication that they don't deserve it."
And his last response to me was this: "Biological sex is outdated and doesn't exist, according
to the SJW's at AVEN, you are a bigot if you mention it as fact.
Gender Studies ideology madness.
One of my female friends could have children, but would have to have surgery to enable this.
She chose to not have this done.
I do not regard her any less a woman.
Childbirth is a choice.
Asexuals like myself are unable to rise to the occasion because of lack of sexual attraction.
It doesn't define me or limit me in any interaction I choose with sexuals, nothing is going to
happen, short of sexual assault by the other person."
I'm not really sure where he was going with that.
Um, I think that was the point at which I, I think I ended up blocking this person, because
I, I'm, I'm seeing too much of this, like, "Oh, the other GENDERS, and these special
snowflakes and stuff, that's not US, but that's THEM, and they're stealing our thunder," and
just the weird stuff that he was dumping into the comments, uh, on several occasions, just
made me feel really uncomfortable, and um, and I didn't feel like I could really have
a conversation with him because, you know, he was really fixated on, um, stuff that he
perceived to be too newfangled and "SJW."
And you know, you guys know from other conversations I've had in these videos, that as soon as
someone starts using SJW unironically I know that it's unlikely I can have a productive
conversation with them, because I mean, they're already looking at their interaction with
me as if, you know, I must accept a whole bunch of invalid, uh, ideologies.
Um, you know, and uh, I used to continue having conversations with people like this, uh, and
it ended up causing me more and more stress and more and more frustration, because I was
leaving myself open to just continue to have these unproductive conversations, and I think
I'm still more open to them than most people.
I'm still more tolerant, I'm still more patient, um, but I think I've started to recognize
the signs of a circular conversation and/or a conversation that makes me feel sort of
unsafe.
Um, I also felt that whenever I got communication from this person, it was with an assumption
from him that I'm ignorant about something and he just presumes ignorance when he talks
to me.
Um, I, I don't have the conversation in front of me, but I remember another one where he
left a comment in one of my singing videos and asked me, "Oh, have you ever tried opera?
I would recommend that you pick up something in the mezzo range, and don't worry, there's
plenty of English song sheets, so don't be intimidated, there's plenty of them in English."
And you know, here, I'm, I'm not a mezzo, you know, like, I, I know what my voice part
is, I studied music in college, and I've certainly sung opera in other languages besides English,
and you know, you might not necessarily know that from listening to me or hearing me talk
about my experience, but I think especially other women, but people of any gender, will
recognize that sometimes you'll be talking to somebody and you can just tell that they
are talking to you assuming that you're ignorant or talking to you assuming that their knowledge
is vast and yours is tiny, and you feel like you can't have a conversation with them on
equal ground.
You feel like you can't connect with them because they're too busy already perceiving
you as needing explanations, needing to, uh, have information that you already know explained
to you.
I don't do so well with that sort of thing anymore.
Um, and um, especially since, you know, I'm, I'm 40 years old now, but I'm of course still
frequently interpreted as being much younger.
Um, partly because I'm small, partly because of how I interact with other people, but I
tend to be sort of, um, upbeat and chirpy, and um, when I interact with other people,
they, they just take I guess certain cues from me and assume they're talking to a much
younger woman.
And that, as many people in that age and gender category can tell you, is synonymous with
inviting disrespect from certain kinds of people.
Unfortunately.
Um, and I just felt like I was talking to one of those people, and that I just wouldn't
be able to have a productive conversation with him, no matter what.
So I disconnected myself from being open to contact with him.
I'm sure some people would consider that to be weak, or to be unfair, or they might even
accuse me of, uh, censoring the person and not caring about free speech, but ya know,
I don't feel that I need to give a platform to people who have, um, perspectives that
I perceive as possibly being um, you know, dangerous to some of the people who follow
me, having to look at my comments and see that kinda trash.
So I mean, he said it, I heard it, I'm done.
I don't need to hear it again.
So on that note, um, I'm gonna wrap up this portion of the video but, um, I'm gonna just
show you something fun real quick.
I got some fun new toys.
And I wanna show you guys.
Uh, lemme disconnect this from the wall, and there we go.
Look at my cool toys.
These are new.
Um, it's a line called SuperCute Plushies.
And they are pretty dang cute.
I really like them.
Um, plushies in this, uh, series tend to be a little bit, uh, they don't have a great
track record.
Some of them are kinda awkward looking.
Um, you know, this Steven looks kinda weird.
Some of these dudes.
Especially the tiny ones.
They are pretty awkward.
I love 'em anyway.
But you know.
Um, I got these, and uh, SuperCute Plushies also has a really large Pumpkin.
So I got a Pumpkin up there.
It's really cute.
Um, and then they also have these little guys that have clippies on their heads, I got the
whole series that's out so far.
They are made by Funko, and they're, uh, mystery bag items, so you don't know which one you're
getting, so I had to do some trading to get them.
Um, so that's pretty cool.
Um, I also recently got this.
It looks like sort of a pillow or something but it's actually like, a, it's pajamas.
With a hood.
So when I wear this, I can look like Lion.
It only comes in one size, so of course I will swim in it, and I had to ask the question
"If I own this am I automatically a furry?"
I'm not sure.
So um.
I'm also going to show you, whoops it's dark.
Uh, it just got dark over here in my state.
And it's rainy today.
I also wanted to show you that I got these guys.
These new, um, hanging keychain guys that everybody was real excited about.
I got the whole set including the Ruby and Sapphire wedding, they're, they're really
cute.
Y'all, if you haven't watched the Steven Universe show, they made some history recently with
a same-sex wedding!
So get on it y'all.
It's so great.
Um, yeah so, what can I say, um, all right, I guess that's gonna be the end of the video,
little bit awkward but I don't care, you guys, uh, you guys already know I'm awkward.
So, um, I will see you next time I have something to whine about.
And I'll talk to you next time!
Bye!

Donald Trump's Rudeness To John McCain Shows How Small & Unpresidential He Is - Daily News - Duration: 7:25.Donald Trump used the excuse of bone spurs in his heels to avoid being drafted into the Vietnam War
The late John McCain volunteered to go and spent years being tortured as a POW. One was a patriotic American hero
The other is small and mean. Ask yourself this: could the current president of the United States possibly survive five and a half years of beatings and torture in a dirty, dark cell in a Vietnamese prison? Could the man in the Oval Office who constantly brags about himself and is trying to tear down the American rule of law to protect himself from Robert Mueller's investigation, ever put the lives and well-being of others first? John McCain did
After he joined the Navy and was shot down and captured by the Vietnamese in 1967, he refused a unique offer of release from his hellish prison after a year of incarceration, because his father was the commander of U
S. Forces in the Pacific. McCain, despite his dire circumstances, was so selfless that he refused this special treatment, until all the other American prisoners of war, who had been captured before him, were released first
Can you imagine Donald Trump, ever behaving this way? Based solely on his Vietnam service and honorable behavior during imprisonment, John McCain, was a true, patriotic American hero
In contrast, Donald Trump, instead of ever being imprisoned, has locked up and continues to lock up little migrant children and babies, who he has separated from their parents
Now, even after John McCain has passed away at 81, after a hard fought battle against brain cancer, Donald Trump has continued to diss the long serving Republican Senator
Trump first mocked John McCain, when he was on the Presidential campaign trail saying: "He's not a war hero
He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured". This, from the man who sat out the Vietnam War playing football, tennis and squash
That initial Trump attack was set off by John McCain, who had long supported comprehensive immigration reform, slamming Trump's campaign attacks on Mexicans as 'rapists' and 'criminals', and his demand to build a wall along the Mexican border
McCain, denounced Trump's bigoted insults and wall plan for "firing up the crazies"
The feud escalated throughout Trump's presidency. Despite McCain's 36 years of service representing Arizona in the House of Representatives and then in the Senate, vindictive Donald Trump, repeatedly mocked the Senator as he battled for his life in the past year
He couldn't get over his fury with McCain for casting the decisive "NO" vote, against killing Obamacare
McCain refused to take healthcare away from millions and the President has been enraged ever since
Trump, childishly mocked McCain's infamous "thumbs down" sign on the Obamacare repeal, at multiple rallies of his loyal supporters
After McCain's sad death on Aug. 25th, heartless Trump refused to issue a "presidential" statement honoring the accomplishments of this dedicated public servant, despite the pleas of the White House aides, according to The Washington Post, instead posting a terse tweet
"My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain
Our hearts and prayers are with you," he wrote. Basically, the standard tweet he has used for the multiple, multiple victims of mass shootings since he has taken office
Just contrast that with the genuine words of respect and admiration from his political rival, President Barack Obama: "John McCain and I were members of different generations, came from completely different backgrounds, and competed at the highest level of politics
But we shared, for all our differences, a fidelity to something higher – the ideals for which generations of Americans and immigrants alike have fought, marched, and sacrificed
We saw our political battles, even, as a privilege, something noble, an opportunity to serve as stewards of those high ideals at home, and to advance them around the world
We saw this country as a place where anything is possible – and citizenship as our patriotic obligation to ensure it forever remains that way
Few of us have been tested the way John once was, or required to show the kind of courage that he did
But all of us can aspire to the courage to put the greater good above our own. At John's best, he showed us what that means
And for that, we are all in his debt. Michelle and I send our most heartfelt condolences to Cindy and their family
" Then Trump layered on more personal pettiness by only lowering the flag at the White House for a mere 24 hours, despite the longtime tradition of keeping the White House flag at half mast until sitting Senators are buried
Only after massive public outrage including from multiple veteran groups, did Trump finally re-lower the flag late on the afternoon of Aug 27th and issue a statement that he was doing it "as a mark of respect for the memory and long standing service of Senator John Sidney McCain III"
How big of him, after his arm was virtually twisted. "Farewell, fellow Americans
God bless you, and God bless America." Longtime aide reads heart-wrenching farewell statement from John McCain

The Senator wrote a letter before he passed away, which was made public today, Aug
27, in which he condemns Trump's destructive efforts to divide Americans and to tear us apart from our allies
"We weaken our greatness when we confuse our patriotism with tribal rivalries that have sown resentment and hatred and violence in all the corners of the globe," he wrote
"We weaken it when we hide behind walls rather than tear them down, when we doubt the power of our ideals rather than trust them to be the great force for change they have always been"
One man almost gave up his life in service of American values and greatness. Then devoted the rest of it to truly trying to make a America a greater place for all Americans, despite their races and backgrounds
The other man, has a MAGA slogan, but has spent his time in power trying to bully all who stand up to him while he supports white supremacists, cozies up to dictators like Vladimir Putin and urges his base to despise the mainstream media and every democratic voter
Just who is the true American patriot?
