Good morning, today I bring you this fast tutorial of a very useful function for Photoshop,

that not everyone knows how to use it, and it is to draw arrows, and other figures.

For this it is very simple, we simply open the Photoshop with the background image that we want

use, that in my case I will use a blank canvas to make it look better, but it can be any

another image.

And what we do now is that in the bar lateral, we look for the option of Feather that

It is this that you see here.

If your case did not leave this sidebar, It's as simple as going to the top options

and click where Window says, and in the menu that unfolds, you have to have

activated the options that say Options and Tools, if you look if I unmark them

the side and top bar disappears, and if I return them to brand, they appear again.

Now that you have located the button of the Pen, we click on it, and in doing so

you will see that they change the options of the bar superior and we get a kind of figurines.

It must be said that these figures also they come out if we press the Tool button

of rectangle under the pen.

Then you have to click on the button that has a straight line diagonally,

called Line Tool, although if once selected you try to draw

something with him, you will see that the only thing that draws they are straight lines and not arrows.

So for you to draw an arrow you have to click on the little button that

is on your right, and in doing so unfolds a window that says Punta de Flecha, and in

you have to check the box that says Start.

Once you have marked it, if you go back to draw now I draw an arrow, being

very easy with the mouse, indicate the size and the address to which we want to point the

arrow.

Also, if we click on the button again of Punta de Flecha and mark us also the

the box that says End, you'll see that what happens is that now we will draw arrows that point

in two ways, what can also be useful at times.

In the same way you will have noticed that in the Punta de Flecha window also came out

options such as selecting Width, Length, and the Concavity, which gives us the possibility

to modify the style in different ways arrow we want to draw, although that

it's something that you can go on experiencing yourselves.

At this point, once we know how to draw arrows, I take advantage and I tell you quickly

how can we draw other figures that equally they can be interesting to us, and for that alone

you have to click on the button that you have a shape similar to a star which

it's called Custom Shape Tool, which is right next to the draw button

lines that we clicked before.

By pressing on it we will see what appears just to your right a new option that says

Form, and if we display the options we will see several different figures that we can draw,

such as a musical notal, a signal forbidden, or lightning among many others,

so you just have to experiment with them to see all the possibilities.

in today's video we will see

how to fix Mi A1 battery drain

caused by a bug in the Oreo update

I had bought my MiA1 phone

around in October 2017

it has been around six to seven months

and recently when

the oreo update was released back in May and June

I started finding that my battery started

draining out quite quickly

earlier it used to give me a backup

of around two and a half days

but after the Oreo update

I started noticing almost half

or in some days less than half of the backup

and I had to keep charging my phone almost

at the end of every day

it was very frustrating

and I thought that

there was an issue with my battery

but when I checked up lithium batteries

I found that lithium batteries do not degrade so drastically

if your phone is less than a year old

like six to nine months old

it won't just go straight away half 50%

the normal degradation is around

just 5 to a max 10 %

if you have got an older phone

in which you're facing normal battery degradation issue

then I'll be creating a video

for how to improve Android battery life

I will be showing you what all

setting that you can change in your phone

that will lead to a better battery life

that will be in a separate video

icon on the top right corner

as soon as I release that video

anyway this particular issue

certainly not related to the lithium-ion battery

but it's a bug in the software

and when I checked several forums

I found several people complaining

and Xiaomi has also accepted the problem

and they have been working on it

but it now I don't think the issue has been fixed

but in this video I'll show you

how you can easily fix it

now let's start the process

of fixing the MiA1 Oreo update battery drain

so the first step

is to enable developer mode

if you have already enabled developer mode on your phone

then you can skip this step

so to do that you just have to go to settings

so we'll swipe down to open

this spanner Icon

click on that

open settings

then go to down

at the bottom

go to system

go to about phone at the bottom about phone

and then go down

and you'll find this build number

you just have to tap three to five times

on the build number

you'll see a message

at the bottom that the developer mode has been enabled

so when I will tap

since I've already enabled developer mode

it will say and I do not need to do this

since I am already a developer

so once you tap this

build number three to four times

the developer options settings would be visible

so to go to that setting

click on back

and then over here you will see developer options

so tap on developer options

then the first setting that you have to change in this developer option

is you have to limit the background process to at most three

so we'll scroll down

scroll down

and under the apps subsection

you will see this background process limit

so on this tap on background process limit

and then over here

it will mention

several options

you have to select at most three processes

after selecting three processes

tap on the next option

that is directly below it

that is the background check

tap on background check

and disable the background check for all these apps

for all the apps mentioned over here

just toggle off this button

like that

the next setting that you have to change is

in the google settings section

so to do that

you just have to go back

again go back

and over here

under Google services and preferences

tap on that

under here tap on the app preview messages

and you have to switch this feature off

I had checked via debugging

that this particular feature was causing me wake lock

so that's why I'm

switching this off

after performing these three changes

you're Mi A1 battery

should last almost as well as it was lasting before

once Xiaomi team comes back with the actual fix

you can again

change these settings back to the normal one

I have been testing out these three settings

and I found no bugs

only one minor issue that I found

that sometimes when I am

browsing through chrome

I sometimes see a chrome crash

After I have switched from chrome

to a different app

it doesn't really affect

but certainly much better

than having my phone charged at the end of every day

so if this three setting doesn't work for you

there is one more option that you can try

is to completely reset it to factory settings

to do that step by step I will be creating a video

in that, I'll show you

how to backup your phone properly

so that you do not lose any important data

before you reset it to factory settings

when it's available

and you will also see a card

on the top right corner

on the I icon you can click on that

and you'll be shown the card

once I release that video

for battery getting drained

it could be because of an app that you are using

so to solve those kind of issue

This may look offtopic, but it's one of my hobbies, so I'm talking about this, today

I'm talking about these games

These are the last ones I've been playing with

and that's why I wanted to talk about it

I have something to say~

Ok, so I'm talking at the same time of the 2 games

But, don't take this as a comparison,

because they're completely different, ok?

This is the 1st one

Toad Treasure Traker

I wonder why they still put these flaps, because there's no instruction booklet now in any game...

I prefer having my games physically

Your console could break down, but you'll still own the games

If you have an account, it's true that you can re-download the games, but

there could be problems with your account, too

This way's easier

And also, in the case you didn't like a game, you can get rid of it and take part of the money back...

So, let's talk about it

There are a lot of levels. They're puzzles, in a book.

You go through the puzzles-pages

And, this way, you go through the "story" and what's going on

It isn't a very deep story

If you played the demo, it's basically that

One gets kidnapped and the other one tries to save that one...

I wanted to show it a bit, but this isn't working right

Anyway,

You need to turn it and search for stuff

There are lots of hidden stuff

The controls are very intuitive

There are lots of nods

It's cute, it's funny

It is what you expect it to be

If you don't like it, it's because you're not the target audience

But, in my opinion, even if you're in the target audience, you could still enjoy it

Because there're puzzles. At first it seems easy, but it goes more complicated

There are also some goals for each level

At first you get them while you play,

If you're like me, that I like looking any nook and cranny

But, then, you have to go through the level many times to get the goals

I didn't want to show a lot from the game, because I completed it, and I don't want to make spoilers

I'm just missing 3 goals, but I'm not doing them xD

They're not impossible, but it'll take a lot of time, which I don't have xD

I prefer finishing other games I started, or playing others I haven't played yet

There's also pixel Toad

You have to go through the level many times, because of the goals,

you need to repeat all the levels because of Pixel Toad, again xD

The puzzles get longer as the game goes on, but they're not very long

But the game gets longer because of repeating the levels

Ok, so

If you're in the target audience, you'll love it

It's interesting

It's not just the girl getting kidnapped

There's more stuff

You can use 3 amiibo to unlock 3 Mario Odyssey levels

But you can unlock them by regular play

They're the 3 Mario Odyssey amiibo

If you're not in the target audiente, it depends on how intransigent you are

You could say it's a sh*t

But it ISN'T

It just means that this isn't your kind of game

You go to the games you prefer, and stop judging what others like, ok?

I don't consider myself within this game's target audience (completely)

But I had fun and I like games where you can relax

I also like more intense games, but I get nervous easily

And some games stress me out, I don't want to play to get more nervous, I want to relax

This one's perfect for that

If I had to complain about anything, something real, not just that you didn't like it

I'd complain about the story

I wanted more story, context, why are you now in the forest?

Why are you out now? How did you go from the ice to a volcano?

Even if the story isn't deep: You're exploring, and then a fliying chicken kidnaps you

Many times

They could've added mini films between all the stages.

It's 3D, it shouldn't be so difficult, and you would immerse yourself in the game, better

There are some mini videos already, but very few...

I wanted more context

This one. Adventure Time Pirates of the Enchiridion

I bought it without thinking

Because I always saw the DS/3DS adventure time games and I wanted to try them

It looked very fun,

but I couldn't buy it at that time

So, this time I bought it

And I bought it without checking reviews or anything

Never ever do that

I even tested the demo of this one,

that is pretty much guaranteed that's going to be neat

But, with this one...

It has stickers. They're so funny...

But... You had one job

What was the person that checked this game doing?

How did that person say this sh*t is Ok?

I'm asking it thoughtfully

I'm the 1st person that would like this is fine

Because I liked the idea for the game

It wasn't a deep story, again,

You fall asleep and then, when you wake up everything's flowed and you pick a ship and go see what's happened

A bit like Zelda wind waker

But more humorous

A priori, they could've done a fantastic game

But, I'm showing you

We're going to see how much it takes to log in

This takes 1-3 min loading... Not only at the beginning, but also ingame

When you're fihgting the foes, you need to move the joystick or else it could freeze

And then you need to reboot the game

(This is the marvelous screen)

You try to avoid as many foes as you can, just to avoid the freezing, and also the long loading time

It's auto-save, so you appear randomly if you need to reboot the game

I don't like leaving things half done

But, this game, it's so boring, you don't want to play it anymore

At least, to me

They rated it with a 6 ... Oh, it loaded, finally.

I don't know how they rated it so high!

A 6 is a game that's not the best, but it's fun

This sh*t doesn't even merit a 3

A 6 is at least funny. A 5~4 means that has some minor fails

Things that make the game experience a bit uncomfortable, like not having intuitive controls

Things that could be done better, but it's ok

But, this. I can't believe they didn't notice what's wrong with the game.

The person that tested this... Didn't say "ok, change this and this, it's uncomfortable and tiring to play"

That's why I don't think they're fixing it, because they let this THING go out to the market.

I'm glad she did that This is a much more serious

situation than I'd processed Because you look this way,

you obviously cannot be from here and it's like then

when they're like "Where you from?" and you're like "I'm from Edinburgh"

and they're like looking at you trying to process it

You can see them trying to work it out in their minds

"but she's black!" "But where are you frommmm?"

"But she sounds Scottish, but she's from Edinburgh

but I just don't understand!" People have asked me

if there's black people in Scotland Really?

How much energy do you actually spend trying to educate

someone or trying to change someone's mind before realising

that they're too far gone and it's just you're never

ever gonna get though to them So what is the actual point

but then do you try? I don't know

How much should you try? I almost try and be like,

I'm gonna make myself as visible as possible and

take up as much space as possible So anybody else who sees me,

like another black woman or like a young black girl

sees me can be like "I wanna do that

I wanna be like that" and then before you know it,

we're everywhere It's like kill them with success

What I like about RMC! - Duration: 1:35.

Hey I'm Craig.

We're standing in front of Hope Charter School where Raleigh Mennonite Church both has its

offices and has worshiped here for over 20 years.

Let's go inside and find out what people really love about going to church here.

So what I love about RMC is that it lives out this song, Servant Song, which has been

really meaningful to me ever since we started this church.

We are here to help each other walk the mile and bear the load.

And to be Christ to each other.

Not just here in our church community but beyond our walls and the church has really

challenged me to do that, to live out this song.

What I like most about RMC is that members of the church go out of their way to be truly

inclusive, including people like refugees, the marginalized, LGBT people, People of Color

and other religions.

One of the other things I love about Raleigh Mennonite Church is that we can share

leadership for our worship services.

We hear from different people who bring us their interpretation of the scripture and

of the focus that week.

We have lots of different musicians, and it's really nice to have a variety of people being

able to lead us in worship.

I like RMC because people are real.

There's an authenticity there that I haven't found many other places.

I like that!

What I love about RMC is a very long list, but two things come to the top.

And the first one is that we don't own a building.

Because we don't own a building, then what we can do is spend the money in this church

for helping other people.

which is very famous in Delhi.

Here all the Lamb Dishes are famous.

Lamb biriyani, Lamb curry is famous here.

We came here to try those dishes here.

We've ordered Lamb Biriyani,

Roti, Lamb Korma,

Lamb Burra,

I will start with Biriyani,

It looks Lite,

As I said it is lite,

It has Lamb's Flavor and Saffron's Flavor.

Low amount of spices were added.

It is good.

BOY-1: The Roti has a soft texture.

This one is a Plain Roti?

Korma has the very good favor of lamb.

Spices are seems to be high,

but they've added a right proportion.

BOY-1: It is entirely different from our STATE.

BOY-1: Biriyani is tasty.

BOY-1: Take the Chutney along with it dude.

LAMB BURRA is rough.

They did it like chicken gril,

It is fully cooked by fire

It is good.

It lost it's fat due to the overheat while cooking.

But it has good taste.

I like LAMB BURRA.

Where ever we go they give this MINT CHUTNEY.

BOY-1: It cools down our Body Temperature so it is very good for health.

BOY-1: So they give this MINT, CURD, LEMON.

We've finished eating now.

Food was nice here.

Lamb Dishes has a Good amount of lamb Flavor,

It is not like our South Indian Dish,

Spices are very low,

South Indian People may not like it, I am not sure about it.

You can try it, if you come here.

Saffron's and lamb's flavor is high here.

In KARIM HOTEL, Biriyani and Lamb Korma is very famous.

It was good.

Also try that.

LAMB BURRA was also good.

AND OBVIOUSLY, WE UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT

THEIR KIDS THAT AREN'T WALKIN' WITH GOD.

BUT THE NEXT ONE IS GUIDANCE.

SO MANY PEOPLE NEED AND WANT TO KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT

SPECIFIC SITUATIONS.

HOW MANY OF YOU ARE IN A SITUATION RIGHT NOW WHERE YOU

REALLY NEED TO HEAR FROM GOD ABOUT A DECISION THAT YOU NEED

TO MAKE?

OKAY, WELL, SEE, THAT'S PRETTY MUCH EVERYBODY.

AND SEE, THE THING IS, IS WE NEED IT ALL THE TIME.

WE DON'T NEED JUST TO HEAR FROM GOD OCCASIONALLY.

WE NEED TO BE LED AND GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT EVERY DAY OF

OUR LIFE AS LONG AS WE'RE ALIVE.

BUT BEFORE I START TALKIN' ABOUT HOW TO HEAR FROM GOD, I'M GOING

TO TALK TO YOU FOR A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OBEDIENCE BECAUSE THERE'S

NO POINT IN ANYBODY HEARING FROM GOD IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY MADE

YOUR MIND UP THAT YOU'RE GONNA DO WHAT GOD TELLS YOU TO DO.

JOYCE: WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU TO DO.

AND THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU'RE ALWAYS GOING TO LIKE WHAT

HE TELLS YOU TO DO.

LIKES, A LITTLE BIT OF SUFFERING IN THE FLESH.

YOU KNOW, IF WE WANT MORE OF GOD IN OUR LIFE, THEN THERE'S ALWAYS

A LITTLE MORE FLESH THAT HAS TO GO.

WE CAN'T EXPECT TO HAVE AN INCREASE OF GOD IN OUR LIFE

IF WE'RE GONNA JUST KEEP DOIN' WHAT WE WANNA DO ALL THE TIME

AND NOT MAKE OUR MINDS UP TO LISTEN TO GOD.

MAYBE WE NEED MORE TEACHING ON OBEDIENCE.

WE SHOULD BE HUNGRY, I MEAN, HUNGRY TO KNOW WHAT GOD SAYS AND

WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO IN OUR LIVES BECAUSE HERE'S THE FACT.

GOD IS ALWAYS RIGHT, AND IF WE DISAGREE WITH HIM, THEN WE ARE

ALWAYS WRONG.

JOYCE: GOD'S THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN GUIDE OUR LIVES IN

A RIGHT WAY.

AND I WANNA SAY THIS, AND I WANT YOU TO GET THIS.

ANYTHING THAT GOD ASKS YOU TO DO OR NOT TO DO, ANYTHING HE ASKS

YOU TO GIVE UP IS ALWAYS AND ONLY FOR YOUR BENEFIT.

WE WERE HAVIN' SOME KIND OF A BANQUET-TYPE CONFERENCE

WHERE--AND IT WAS ALL LADIES, AND THEY WERE SITTIN' AT THESE

BIG ROUND TABLES TOGETHER, LIKE, ABOUT EIGHT PEOPLE AT A TABLE.

SO THEY HAD PLENTY OF FELLOWSHIP DURING MEALS AND STUFF, AND SO,

I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WAS TEACHIN' ON, BUT AT THE END OF THE

CONFERENCE, THE LADY CAME TO ME AND SHE SAID, "WELL, I KNOW NOW

EXACTLY WHAT MY PROBLEM IS."

AND I SAID, "WELL, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?"

SHE SAID, "WELL, I WAS ABUSED SEXUALLY, LIKE YOU ARE."

AND SHE SAID, "IT JUST SO HAPPENS," ALL THESE LITTLE

THINGS THAT WE THINK ARE COINCIDENCES, AND THEY'RE REALLY

THE PROVIDENCE OF GOD.

"IT JUST SO HAPPENED THAT ALL THE LADIES AT THE TABLE WITH

ME HAD A SIMILAR BACKGROUND TO MINE."

AND SHE SAID, "AS I LISTENED TO THEM TALK ABOUT THEIR HEALING

AND WHAT ALL GOD HAD DONE IN THEIR LIFE AND HOW FREE THEY

WERE NOW," SHE SAID, "I REALIZED AFTER LISTENING TO THEM THAT GOD

HAS TOLD ME THE SAME THINGS THAT HE TOLD THEM.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS, THEY DID IT, AND I DIDN'T."

LET THAT SOAK IN JUST A LITTLE BIT.

IF I WERE TO ASK RIGHT NOW--AND I WON'T MAKE YOU RAISE

YOUR HANDS, ALTHOUGH I PROBABLY SHOULD.

IF I WERE TO ASK RIGHT NOW, HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW RIGHT NOW,

WITHOUT ME SAYIN' ANOTHER WORD, THAT THERE'S SOMETHING THAT GOD

HAS TOLD YOU TO DO OR SOMETHING THAT HE HAS ASKED YOU TO STOP

DOING, MAYBE QUITE A WHILE AGO, AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T DONE IT?

WE'VE GOT PEOPLE, BRAVE PEOPLE OUT THERE.

TELLS YOU TO DO.

"FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD."

IT'S GREAT TO SAY, "I HAVE FAITH IN GOD," BUT IF I'M NOT GONNA DO

WHAT HE TELLS ME TO DO, THEN I'M NOT GONNA GET ANYWHERE.

AND SO, MAYBE SOME OF YOU WILL SQUIRM IN YOUR SEATS A LITTLE

BIT THIS MORNING.

I HOPE YOU DO.

I DON'T THINK WE SHOULD ALWAYS JUST BE ALL THAT COMFORTABLE

SITTIN' IN CHURCH.

JOYCE: OKAY, SO, WE'RE GONNA TALK JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT

OBEDIENCE.

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE HEARD THE SCRIPTURE, "RESIST THE DEVIL,

AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU"?

OKAY, WELL, THAT'S ACTUALLY NOT WHAT THE SCRIPTURE SAYS.

JOYCE: THAT'S THE PART OF IT WE QUOTE, BUT IT ACTUALLY SAYS:

"SUBMIT YOURSELF TO GOD, RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE WILL FLEE

FROM YOU."

SO, WE HAVE NO POWER OVER SATAN IF WE'RE LIVING IN KNOWN

DISOBEDIENCE.

NOW, I THINK THAT GOD'S A LITTLE MORE GRACIOUS TO US WHEN WE'RE

LIVIN' IN IGNORANCE.

THE APOSTLE PAUL SAID THAT GOD GAVE HIM GRACE BECAUSE HE HAD

ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE.

HE WAS PERSECUTING CHRISTIANS, BUT HE ACTUALLY REALLY BELIEVED

THAT HE WAS DOING THE RIGHT THING.

HOWEVER, AS SOON AS GOD SHOWED HIM OTHERWISE, HE WAS READY

AND QUICK TO MAKE A CHANGE.

SO, IF YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW THAT WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS WRONG,

THEN GOD WILL GIVE YOU MORE GRACE, A SPACE OF TIME.

BUT EVERY TIME YOU COME TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD, WHETHER IT'S

WATCHIN' A TV PROGRAM, OR LISTENING TO A MESSAGE, OR

READING THE BIBLE, OR COMING TO CHURCH, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GET?

NOT JUST A GOOD MESSAGE.

YOU GET MORE RESPONSIBILITY.

JOYCE: BECAUSE NOW YOU KNOW SOMETHING THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW

BEFORE, AND SO, IF YOU KEEP DOING THE SAME DUMB STUFF YOU

DID BEFORE YOU KNEW THE RIGHT THING TO DO, NOW, YOU'RE GONNA

EXPERIENCE THE OTHER SIDE OF IT.

"WELL, I THOUGHT GOD'S MERCIFUL."

HE IS MERCIFUL, BUT SOMETIMES THE MOST MERCIFUL THING YOU CAN

DO IS NOT LET SOMEBODY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH SOMETHING

THAT'S HURTING THEM.

"SUBMIT YOURSELF TO GOD, RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE WILL FLEE."

NOW, WE'RE ALWAYS ALL GONNA HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE DEVIL

BECAUSE HE HATES US.

AND REALLY, YOU SHOULD BE MORE CONCERNED IF HE'S NOT GIVING YOU

ANY TROUBLE THAN IF HE IS.

BECAUSE IF HE'S NOT GIVING YOU ANY TROUBLE, THEN YOU'RE NOT

PROBABLY NOT GIVING HIM ANY.

IT SAYS, "IF YOU'RE WILLING AND OBEDIENT, YOU SHALL EAT

THE GOOD OF THE LAND."

YOU KNOW, I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN IN

THIS AREA IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO BECAUSE AFTER ME PREACHING THIS,

BOY, YOU'RE ALL GONNA PERK UP AND YOU'RE GONNA BE ON YOUR BEST

BEHAVIOR FOR A FEW DAYS.

AND THEN SOMEBODY'LL HAVE TO COME BACK AROUND AND GIVE YOU

A FRESH DOSE.

SO, PASTOR, I THINK THIS IS, LIKE, A TEN-PART SERIES

FOR YOU, SEE?

VERSES 2 THROUGH 9, I FIND AN EXTREMELY INTERESTING

STORY.

IT SAYS: "THUS SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS: THESE PEOPLE SAY,

THE TIME HAS NOT COME THAT THE LORD'S HOUSE OR TEMPLE

SHOULD BE REBUILT."

SO THE PEOPLE WERE SAYIN', "NO, IT'S NOT TIME TO

REBUILD THE TEMPLE."

NOW, IN THE CLASSIC, ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE,

IT SAYS IN THAT ONE, "[ALTHOUGH CYRUS HAD ORDERED IT DONE

EIGHTEEN YEARS PRIOR]."

SO THE PEOPLE ARE STILL SAYING, "NOPE, THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT

TIME," BUT GOD HAD ALREADY TOLD THEM THROUGH A PROPHET 18 YEARS

PREVIOUSLY THAT THAT WAS WHAT THEY NEEDED TO DO.

SO THEY HAD BEEN BEING DISOBEDIENT FOR 18 YEARS.

AND YOU KNOW ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY WE'RE DISOBEDIENT,

AND WHY WE CAN BE, REALLY--?

I MEAN, PEOPLE WHO LOVE GOD AND YOU GOT A GOOD HEART

BECAUSE WE MAKE EXCUSES.

ANYTHING THAT'S GONNA BE A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE, WE CAN

QUICKLY FIND AN EXCUSE WHY IT'S NOT TIME.

AND PROCRASTINATION IS SO DANGEROUS.

IT'S SO DECEPTIVE BECAUSE WHEN WE PROCRASTINATE, WE DON'T SEE

IT AS BEING DISOBEDIENT, BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO DO IT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: COME ON, WE PLAN TO DO IT.

WE INTEND TO DO IT.

BUT UNLESS GOD HAS TOLD YOU TO WAIT TILL ANOTHER TIME TO OBEY

HIM, THEN YOU HAVEN'T OBEYED UNTIL YOU'VE DONE WHAT GOD ASKED

YOU TO DO, HALLELUJAH.

"THEN THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME BY HAGGAI THE PROPHET, SAYING,

IS IT TIME FOR YOU YOURSELVES TO LIVE IN YOUR EXPENSIVE

PANELED HOUSES WHILE THIS HOUSE [OF THE LORD] LIES IN RUINS?"

SO, GOD IS SAYING TO THEM.

"I TOLD YOU TO REBUILD MY HOUSE, BUT INSTEAD, YOU'RE BUILDIN'

YOUR OWN HOUSE."

YOU KNOW WHAT?

WE NEED TO BE MUCH BUSIER BUILDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD THAN

WE ARE TRYIN' TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF OUR PORTFOLIO.

JOYCE: "NOW THEREFORE THUS SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS:

'CONSIDER YOUR WAYS AND THOUGHTFULLY REFLECT

PRETTY GOOD CHANCE YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO MAKE A FEW PEOPLE MAD.

I LOST EVERY FRIEND THAT I HAD EXCEPT MAYBE ONE OR TWO.

A LOT OF OUR FAMILIES TURNED AGAINST US.

AND SO, LET ME JUST SAY PLAINLY THAT IF YOU WANNA DO WHAT GOD

WANTS YOU TO DO, IF YOU WANNA HAVE--HOW MANY OF YOU WANNA HAVE

THE BEST LIFE THAT GOD'S GOT FOR YOU?

I MEAN, DO YOU REALLY?

OKAY, WELL, THEN, THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME SACRIFICE, AND SOME

HARD THINGS, AND SOME HARD DECISIONS THAT YOU'RE GONNA

HAVE TO MAKE.

YOU KNOW, I REALIZED A COUPLE WEEKS AGO, YOU'RE GONNA LAUGH

WHEN I SAY THIS, BUT I TOLD MY DAUGHTER, I SAID, "YOU KNOW,

I'VE DECIDED THAT I'M PRETTY ADDICTED TO BEIN' COMFORTABLE."

AND I MEAN, IT'S REALLY PRETTY PATHETIC WHAT WE HAVE DRIFTED

OFF INTO COMPARED TO THE WAY PEOPLE USED TO BE.

WE NEED A LITTLE MORE BACKBONE AND NOT SO MUCH WISHBONE.

DOING, OR YOU LIKE DOING, OR YOU KIND OF ENJOY DOING.

DON'T THINK THAT GOD WON'T TEST YOU.

AND IT'S SO HARD FOR ME TO GIVE IT UP, BUT GOD HAS PUT IT ON
