राजमा चावल बनाने का एकदम आसान तरीका | How To Make Rajma Chawal | Rajma Chawal Recipe Punjabi - Duration: 9:31.
rajma chawal is a traditional Punjabi dish and a popular street food of kidney beans and rice
ingredients and their quantities are listed in the description box
let's have a look
the following are the ingredients for making the rice
2 tbsp oil
1.5 cups rice
3 cups water. it is always double the quantity of rice
1 sliced onion
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
2 bay leaves, 1 black cardamom, slightly crushed, 3-4 coves and a small stick of cinnamon
1.5 tsp salt. we have used rock salt as it is a healthier option
here are the ingredients to make rajma/kidney beans curry
1 cup rajma/kidney beans soaked in water overnight
2 tomatoes, chopped into small pieces
1-2 tbsp oil
1-inch ginger crushed and 1 green chilli chopped
10-12 cloves of garlic
2 onions, sliced thin
1 tsp kasuri methi/dry fenugreek leaves
1/2 tsp deghi mirch/red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1.2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp salt. we have used rock salt
we will prepare the rajma or kidney beans curry first. It is a one pot dish
this is a very simple recipe in which the spices do not need to be ground at all
we will add all the ingredients and cook together
add the kidney beans without the water
the sliced onions
chopped tomatoes
ginger & green chilli
garlic cloves
garam masala
turmeric powder
deghi mirch. use this instead of red chilli powder as it imparts a dark red color to the gravy
rock salt. this is healthier than salt as it is unprocessed
coriander powder
about 2 tbsp oil
and 1 cup water
stir until everything combines
keep heat on high and put the lid
at the first whistle reduce heat to low
and cook for another 5 minutes
after 5 minutes put off the heat and open the cooker when the pressure subsides
pressure out we will check the kidney beans
all the spices are soft and the kidney beans too have softened
but the water in it needs to be dried
keep heat on high and stir till the extra water dries up
the extra water has dried up and the spices combined to form a thick paste
add the dry fenugreek leaves and roast the kidney beans for 10 minutes
after 10 minutes of roasting the kidney beans with the spices should look like this
add 1 liter water and keep heat on medium
stir and mix well
close the pressure cooker and let it blow the first whistle
while the kidney beans are cooking prepare the rice. keep a wok on the adjacent burner
presoak the rice for 30 minutes prior to cooking
keep heat on medium and add 2 tbsp oil
when oil is hot add the onions and saute till they turn light pink
add the spices
cumin seeds
bay leaves, black cardamom, cloves and cinnamon
saute until the onions turn brown. keep heat on medium
keep stirring for even browning and prevent the spices from burning
you can cook both the dishes - the kidney beans and the rice simultaneously to save time
when the pressure cooker whistle blows reduce the heat to low and now let the kidney beans cook for 15 minutes more
carry on sauteing the onions
the onions have are brown now
we are browning the onions as we wish to impart a brownish color to the rice. if you wish to keep the rice white do not brown the onions
add about 1/4 cup water so that the brown color of the onions leaches into it
stir well and add 1.5 tsp salt
salt quantity is always as many tsp as cups of rice taken
stir to mix and then add the soaked and drained rice
mix well
add 3 cups of water and give a good stir. keep heat on high and let the water come to a boil
once the water starts to boil cover with a lid and reduce heat to low
cook till all the water dries up. the rice should take 15 minutes to cook. check a few times in between to check the rice
after 15 minutes put off the heat and let the pressure ease down
after 15 minutes all the water has dried up and the rice are cooked as well
put off the heat and cover the rice. let it sit for 5 minutes
open the pressure cooker once the pressure is out
the kidney beans are well cooked. since the gravy is a bit thin we will dry out some water by heating the rajma curry
we will heat it on high heat for 5 minutes. you may adjust the time as per your requirement
keep stirring occasionally
our rajma curry is ready. put off the heat and take it off the burner
both our dishes - the rice as well as the rajma - are ready. time to serve them
this is the way we usually serve them - at home as well as when it is served as a street food
kidney beans poured over the rice

recent videos about songwriting and the
producers role a while back I was
ranting about how sometimes people don't
seem to understand why a producer takes
a songwriter credit sometimes producers
are very involved in the songwriting
process other times they might just
create a track and let top liners come
in and write the lyric but once in a
while I get through a writing session
the top line writers have gone I'm left
with kind of the raw material of the
song and sort of the basic outline of
the production and I think as I listen
to it this is pretty good but it's not
quite where I want it I need something
more and so one of the things that a
producer can do is find ways to take
their hook and improve upon him and I've
talked about that some other videos but
I want to show you today how I created a
secondary line in a song to help it sort
of really focus on the chorus to focus
on the title of the song and to
hopefully make it a little hooky er so
here we go
the song we're looking at today is
called elevator love it was written by
Sarah Thiele myself and Gina Schock we
wrote this song for a rock band that's
here in Los Angeles called the Atomics
so let me play it for you
so in the process of working on the
chorus I felt like I was missing
something and I'm gonna pull out apart
and show you what I was feeling
so right there after every elevator love
that's the way we originally wrote it I
felt like there needed to be something
happening there could be a guitar riff
could be some other instrumental thing
could be a percussive thing but when in
the chorus I'm always looking for ways
to bring home the hook so in this case
after each elevator loved I brought in
so that is just her singing the chorus
but I pitched it and stretched it a
little bit so what you're hearing here
at the chorus so that what you're
hearing elevator love is this pitch down
okay so I want to show you how I did
that so here's my original vocal alright
so let me just grab that bring it down

there's a massive trend on YouTube that
has just really been bugging me and
getting under my skin for a very long
time and it needs to stop what is up
everybody this is Chris from the rewired
soul where we talk about the problem but
focus on the solution and if you're new
to my channel my channel is all about
mental health most of my videos are
about helping you out with your mental
health but I also talk about all things
mental health related so if you're down
with that make sure you subscribe and

mentioned we talked about the problem
but focus on the solution and the
problem today the problem today is the
clickbait and the faking of a mental
illness called dissociative identity
disorder okay I get why people do it as
a youtuber I understand like look at
these numbers like people are getting
massive amounts of views for claiming to
have dissociative identity disorder hi
my name is autumn I am one of the
protectors how I like to view the
protectors are you have the host okay
I'm fine with my see you'll never guess
where we've been we've been out all
sorts for benches for the past few
months and it's insane like the problem
is is that if any of you have been on my
channel for a while there are things
that perpetuate the stigma of mental
illness and it's not cool it's not cool
and it does more harm than good
but anyways before I get back into my
rant about this subject like what is
dissociative identity disorder like
let's talk about that way all right so
let's break it down
dissociation okay dissociation is a
mental illness where you disconnect you
dis
connect from reality now how does
disassociation happen in most cases in
most cases it is a trauma response so
victims of traumatic events maybe it was
ongoing abuse for example and what their
mind did to deal with that situation was
to disconnect from reality and the
situation that's happening and what can
happen is as part of the trauma response
so when that trauma is triggered later
on you'd associate you disassociate you
disconnect right okay cool now let's put
this together disassociation identity
disorder now this is also known as D ID
this used to be called multiple
personality disorder
now if you're if you're not educated
then in this stuff you might see a movie
like split and think that's what this is
all right and like the movie split was
amazing and I can't wait for the sequel
to it but like that's not the way it
works so the problem is that people
think that it's like the movie split and
then they watch all these YouTube videos
like whoa this is real life is not real
life so one of the reasons that this
really bugs me that people are making a
profit and click baiting people into
thinking that these youtubers have the
ID is that as I mentioned most people
who struggle with D ID like not most
like pretty much all of them went
through a traumatic experience they went
through something that was so awful so
terrible like think about that for a
second they went through an experience
so terrible in their life that their
brain disconnects from reality like and
then these people are like turning it
into like this kind of fun and zany
thing look at these look at these videos
meet my alters like what what okay one
of the reasons that it bugs me like I
was doing some research before I made
this video so 70% of people with
dissociation identity disorder have
attempted suicide at some point in their
life think about that like this isn't a
fun mental illness no mental illness is
fun is complete chaos
what they're portraying in these videos
is that they can just swap in and out in
and out one of the biggest click bass
one of the reasons you might have
clicked on this video is we're gonna
says switch caught on camera like what
what are you serious so like this is
something that people are trying to kill
themselves over and people like hey look
at this I can just flip a button to
switch between identities like no that's
not how it works
that is not how this mental illness
works if any mental illness work where
you just turn it on and off people
wouldn't need to seek therapy or take
medications or do all these other things
that we have to do so it kills me that
people are like exploiting this disorder
to to get views and clicks and make
money off of it like it is complete
madness so here's another fun fact about
di D people who experience the ID and
switch in and out of personalities
there's amnesia associated with it okay
like when someone swaps into a different
personality they don't remember anything
that happened so let's just talk
logically for a second so when you
switch personalities right when this
dissociation happens when you switch and
you get that music like where you're
trying to sell us on the belief that not
only did you switch but you also don't
have amnesia and you were able to have
enough awareness that you are going to
make another youtube video and say okay
I'm gonna help my other identity out
like no that's not how it works like
maybe maybe a reference point that you
can look at his Fight Club okay where
Edward Norton didn't realize that he was
swapping into Brad Pitt like he didn't
know he would completely didn't realize
what was happening but these youtubers
who are doing this they're trying to
sell you on the belief that with this
disorder you can just swap all willy
nilly all of the personalities are
interconnected it's like that movie
split like were they all like oh we're
and everything like no that's not how
this thing works and if people were more
educated oh my god I was like I was
reading some of the comments like I
don't watch that many of these videos
because they make me really upset but I
was like watching and look
the comments of people like oh my god
this is crazy and stuff and it's like
man that's why I make these videos to
spread awareness like you guys quit
getting duped into this thing you know
this is just perpetuating the stigma so
the other thing that like my girlfriend
and I were like laughing about is like
if you look at the statistics D ID
effects maybe 1% or less of the entire
human population okay
now go look on YouTube type in a search
and see how many people have these
videos so not only does it affect less
than 1% of all beings in existence but
it's a coincidence that they all have
YouTube channels come on come on now all
right so aside from that aside from all
that so I was talking with my girlfriend
today about these statistics and she she
worked in a psychiatric ward a
psychiatric ward for two years two years
and not once not once does she have
somebody come in who had D ID okay don't
believe that well I have personally
worked in a mental health facility for
three years you know how many di D cases
I've come across zero zero this is not a
common disorder okay a lot of people
struggle with dissociation but di D is
extremely extremely rare so the last
thing is wait now I'm on the fence I
don't know if I want to dive into
specific channels of specific videos and
just explain why this is all a hoax and
stuff but like here's here's what I
would say because here at the rewind so
we talked about the solution baby like
if you watch these as a sort of like
performance art right pulk go for it but
I just don't want people thinking that
that's what this mental illness is
because it's it's not if you read about
it if you look in the diagnostic
Statistical Manual you will see that
that is not how this disorder works so
like if you educate yourself about it
like realize like these are people you
know just doing I'm like like one of the
new youtubers that I saw do this and I
know I said I wasn't gonna like dive
deep but anyways there's a new one that
made me want to make this video game
there's a new youtube channel called
alex max this girl is very young very
young maybe 15 16 years old something
like that maybe a little bit older but
she made a video about it I'm guessing
because she saw other people doing it
and she's getting millions of views
millions of views like she doesn't know
any better she's just having fun on
YouTube you know what I'm saying like
whatever girl like do your thing but I I
hope you the viewer like realize like
this is it's it's no different than
acting it's no different than your
favorite actor playing different
characters in different movies they do
not have the ID now some of you who know
me like know that I'm not a malicious
person like I would argue the fact that
many of the people who make these videos
they might have some other form of
mental illness you know one that
involves attention-seeking behaviors
that could be it like did you know did
you know that a common industry for
people with borderline personality
disorder to get into is acting because
they lack a sense of self so when
they're able to attach themselves to a
character that helps them cope so there
are many actors and actresses I might do
a video on that will actually have
borderline personality disorder so I
would argue the fact that many of the
people making these clickbait videos
faking this disorder they have something
else going on with them and as with
everybody I have compassion and love and
hope they get help but you know I got to
make these videos because there are
things that perpetuate the stigma and
they hurt you know other people who
really need help you know what I mean
like like just to give you an example of
this like what if I came on here faking
cancer what came out here faking that
illness like I'd be pretty crummy person
so people faking mental illnesses and
talking about mental illnesses they
don't have like it's not cool it's
insensitive it's not cool at all alright
but man I really need to talk about this
if you want me to leave comments down
below if you want me to really unpack
some of these videos and do some reviews
let me know down in the comments cuz I'm
more than happy to it's something that's
blowing up on YouTube and it needs to
stop or more people need to be educated
that it's just not real and it's
completely fake alright so let me know

Hey everybody, Dan Holstein here
with another Rev Up Your Business video and
today I'm gonna show you how to use just
$20 to get an amazing holiday.
Stick around.
Ok, so what's all this about $20 and
an amazing vacation?
Well first off, where am I right now? Where's Waldo?
Yep! Down under in Sydney Australia at the waterfront
and there's the Opera House in the background there.
The world-famous Sydney Opera House.
So, let's explain this $20 concept.
First of all why don't we
get away for vacations? The experience
that I have with business owners is,
the number one thing is time. They haven't
got enough time to get away. So you want
to go back and watch my video on "How to
Get One Hour a Day back from the business
which is six weeks over the year.
So we'll put a we'll put a card up for that
on here, you can go and check
that one out then come back.
Now, the other excuse I see is:
"I haven't got enough money, can't afford it."
So let's debunk that one right away.
How much does a good vacation cost?
Actually, how much does it cost not to have a good
vacation? You know... the cost of being a
little bit burnt out, and tired, and
frustrated, not fresh.
It's important to get away from time to time.
So let's assume you want to get away.
You haven't had a vacation in a while and
you do want to get away. And a good
vacation, somewhere you would like to go,
and to have a bit of fun - not just to get
there on the cheap - but to go and have
some fun. Let's say it's $5000.
$5000 for a vacation, and maybe
you have to add a little more if you're
taking multiple family members, and
things like that. Let's just say $5000.
Look at how many weeks are in the year,
and how many business days you've got.
It's 250 business days, 50 weeks,
5 days per week. So if we look
at the math on that, that's only $20 per day.
If you were to set it aside,
you'd be able to have a $5000 vacation.
It's easy to do. It's also easy not to do. Right?
We just think "oh it's expensive, I haven't got
the money, so then we have a tendancy just
to kind of let let it go, let it slide, or
maybe get away for a weekend, and tack it
on to a long weekend and try to
justify that we've actually gotten away
for a holiday when really we've just had
like a little mini break. It's important
to be able to disconnect. Just to be able
to get out of the mode of working.
Let your brain just process being
relaxed. And where do all the
good ideas come to us? Well where we're not
expecting it! Like in the shower,
or doing dishes, or on vacation right?
And that's our subconscious saying
"Hey! I'm trying to give you this idea!"
But your conscious mind is too distracted all the time,
so if we don't actually disconnect,
and get away - and even a stay-cation is fine -
but if you want to get away just
really be disconnected, leave your laptop
at home. And then be able just to enjoy yourself,
and enjoy the time away,
enjoy the creative processes of thinking
and being, and not not having to be beholden
to any kind of schedule.
Vacations are fantastic for this.
It's so important that we are able to get away
and enjoy yourselves. So just $20 a day.
It's nice and easy, so what do we need to
do in your business, to get just $20 per
day additional profitability?
Depending on your line of business, it
could be selling one more item,
and a little bit of billable time. It could
be making sure that things are being
delivered on effectively, cleaning up
problem areas, and in Mastery, in terms of
ordering things, while making sure it's
service to delivery on time. We don't
have mistakes, and comebacks, and things
like that. It shouldn't be that difficult.
And I find that often, people looking at
the $5000 - let's say we call it $10,000
which is about $38 per day - I mean
in business, $38 a day? Seriously we
can't get additional $38 of profitability?
Of course we can! Maybe we
just haven't thought about it. We look at
the big $10,000 chunk, and think "that's
really difficult!" They don't have it
at this moment, but these things take time.
We can plan if you want to get away
in one year from now. All you need to do
is set aside - do your budget for your
holiday, and commit to setting that
that amount of money aside every single day.
Depending on your business, that
could be a little more challenging than
others, but I don't think a $5,000 even a
$2,000 holiday would be impossible
if you're saving up for it daily. And how do
we keep this in mind? Remember to make
sure that we're improving our business
just a tiny tiny little bit every day
enough to get us away? First of all
decide where you're gonna go. Put it on your
dream chart! Put it up on the wall,
somewhere to remind yourself of why
you're making the little changes every day.
And to remind you to make those
little changes every day. Get your family
to support you. Get your team members!
They don't want Grumpy-You, they want
Relaxed-You! They want you to get away
once in a while too, so let them help you.
Let them find ways to save money,
or increase your profitability. And keep it
front and centre. And be clear on what
you're gonna do when you're there.
Right now, book your hotel. You usually don't
have to pay for a hotel until you get
there, so if you get it booked in,
that creates little bit of extra space and a
lot of attraction. You're going to attract that,
and be able to go.
So that's it for this week! I'm going to
continue wandering around, and have a
look at the sights, and beautiful Sydney.
And I encourage you to do your vacation budget.
Think about where you want to go,
get some pictures. Cut them out,
print them out, get them up at the wall where
you can see it. And make the commitment
to yourself and your significant other
or family and family whoever, to get away
and recharge, relax, because you deserve it.
And your business will thank you for it
as well as your team and your customers.

that but I did so you know it's there if

I go to concerts as often as I can
um it's kind of one of my favorite
things to do and I do I'm willing to like
travel to go see bands
uh yeah I also really enjoy watching

Europe, not around like the whole of

Build a Lean-to Greenhouse - Duration: 2:24.
I'm Melissa from Empress of Dirt and today I'm going to show you how I built this lean-to
greenhouse.
The original inspiration came from Ana White's Barn Greenhouse which I adapted to fit our
situation.
Ana's greenhouse is a freestanding 8 foot by 12 foot structure.
The one I built is 3 feet by 12 feet.
This is the south side of our covered patio before I started building.
The whole structure is not level so it took some thought to make everything work and look
good in the end.
The first step was to refinish three of these old windows I found free at the side of the
road.
Next, I removed the wood siding from the patio and framed in the windows.
These act as doors to the greenhouse which I built at waist-height for easy access.
Next I built a wooden base.
Because I don't know how the greenhouse will behave in the winter, I decided to simply
block off this space for now and deal with it later.
It might end up storing rain barrels or garden supplies.
The support pieces for the clear roof panels sit right on the base.
They are secured directly to the base and the wall of the patio.
Next, I added foam supports.
These are made for the panels and starting with the upper one, I installed the twelve-foot
panels on the roof.
My long-term plan is to add window vents at either end of the structure but not until
I see how things go this winter.
Here you see a temporary end with a clear half-panel.
A rain storm right after I installed it revealed some leaks so I replaced it with wood for
now and everything is staying nice and dry inside.
Here's a look at the greenhouse now from inside the patio.
I'm propagating some softwood plant cuttings and getting ready to start some cold-tolerant
veggies.
The big dream is to grow salad greens during the winter so we'll see how that goes.
