Hello ! okay? How are you?
In the third class of our modeling course, cutting and sewing skirts,
I'll teach you how to use the mold which I will make available for free for printing.
Before I start this class, I would like to inform you that the registration for my course
of modeling sewing and child sewing are open until September 10.
or while the vacancies last. as I am receiving many enrollment in the course,
registrations are likely to end before September 10.
So if you're interested in taking the course, see the link in the video description.
Enjoy, that the course is super complete you will have access during the course
more than 320 classes, more than 40 molds to print, plus several course-specific handouts that I am preparing for you.
So if you have interest in the course. Click the video description for more information about the course. Some people are asking me if the course payment is monthly.
Payment is not monthly, payment is made in one-time fee.
There is this price because it is a promotion for the first class. For the next class the price will be 4 times more expensive.
Let's begin the class! I have here the 6 sheets of template file.
Being two sheets for the front mold, two sheets for mold backs and two sheets for the revel.
This file is not yet available for printing. But I'll make the files available next week.
Look there in the description of the video in which on which date the file will be available.
In the last class of this course, I taught how to draw the base of the feminine skirt.
So if you're tailoring and modeling just for you. You should draw your own base,
following the guidelines of the previous class.
But if you work by sewing for other people, or if you work with sewing over measure,
or if you want to make clothes to sell, you can use the base skirt file that I will make available from numbering 34 to 54,
and female juvenile numbering to make their molds.
From this template, you will change and adjust to customer measurements.
I'll teach you how to make these changes in the next class.
So the base is for those who want to sew to other people. Because if you are going to make a new base every time you go to make a outfit.
You will lose a lot of time. In this case, use the basic template to make your job easier. You will pick up the ruler and fit into the grid lines of the mold, the mold has a specific lines at the edge.
Then you will fit the ruler over that line and will draw a straight risk.
Depending on the image in the video, you will do the same thing on the other sheet. see that there are some gimmicks, fit the ruler in these gimmicks.
And draw a line. Then in the front file you will scratch both sides.
Will crop the leftover paper from one side of the sheet.
On the other sheet you will pass glue to fit the mold.
Then to the front file you will do this.
When the file is released, you will have 3 files.
The archive of the front base, the coast base and the revel. Fits line with line, which is ready
and arranged the front mold. You will perform the same procedure on the back mold.
Snapping line with line in the shore mold as well.
Do not pass too much glue on the paper, because the paper stretches when it is very wet. So use little glue so the mold does not get wet like mine. Pass the glue and fit.
The revel you will use in modeling the skirt waistband
Then depending on the model of We'll use this revel.
I taught the step-by-step modeling of the revel in the past class.
Then you will scratch one line sideways and the other the same way you did in the front mold and strand.
And it will cut one side, after that you will fit the sheets to glue the front and back reve.
So the paste method for all files is the same.
What happens, some people print my mold and it does not fit.
Why does not it fit? Because at the time of printing, the person left the printer set to reduce the drawing according to the margin.
And when you're printing you things that are docking, you have to set the printer to print without reducing the margin.
and uncheck all boxes that ask you to reduce the margin.
Or check none. if you do not do this the mold will not fit.
After you attach the revel sheets, you must embed a revel in the other and paste the sheets.
Regarding the printing rules I'm going to make a video
specific explaining how to print, for anyone to make that mistake, because
these files are saved in pdf.
So if you follow all the printing guidelines,
your mold will fit perfectly.
So I'll make a video later, just explaining how to print the template.
You're gonna cut this revell out and save it. Why am I going to make the impression template available later?
Because some people are picking up my molds that I make available for free,
and selling on the live market, selling on websites, or putting on personal site, not to mention my blog. Too much respect!
So I'll organize a way to protect the files.
Then you will cut out the excess paper in the mold, Go get a sheet of EVA paper, in some cities this sheet is called rubber paper.
and it will pass glue on that paper, pass some glue, spread and place the mold.
do not pass too much glue and do not even glue the paper.
Pass the glue only on the EVA sheet, Why am I pasting mold on EVA sheet?
Because you do not own the stationery, so I have to organize this mold in a way,
that you print the template only once, and copy to make changes as needed.
So I'll pass glue on all paper, I'll glue and trim the excess.
Now I'll teach you how to copy the mold.
you will perform this procedure on the front and coast mold. It is not necessary to glue the revel sheet.
Now you're going to get a machine needle, and it's going to make light holes in all the corners of the mold.
Example; in the front mold front and coast I will pass the needle in all the corners,
to make light holes,
I will do this from one side and the other.
Use machine needle because it is more chubby.
Make them pure also in the pence lines.
Pierce at the end of pence, on the sideline and at the end of the mold.
After you pierce all the part of the mold you will copy to the sheet. Position the template on the sheet and mark the holes with a pencil.
Turn on the sideline. Turn on the mold base.
Then take a curved ruler to join the waist and side.
Connect the middle line, and mark the pences.
Now you will extend straight from the end of the mold 25 centimeters on each side.
e Close the template to finish the copy. Do the same procedure on the back mold.
In the next class, I'll teach you how to change this template to model different body shapes.
I will also teach you how to use the base correctly. This class continues on the fourth day in 15 days.
