hey everybody today I have another haul for you this haul is a little bit
different because it's literally things I've purchased over the past like couple
of weeks yeah it's just like a hodgepodge and everything there's a
couple things I got for PR samples that I just really loved and I wanted to show
you but most of it most of it is just random stuff from my life that I just
haven't gotten to sharing with you until now and it's no rhyme or reason there's
like a whole ton of brands and it's probably gonna be a super long haul so
for those of you who like to hear me yakety yak don't talk back because we
are literally gonna go through a lot of things today
PS super impressed with myself for thinking on my feet with that quick
little wordplay there yeah I'm gonna celebrate myself anyway let's jump right
in and the first thing I'm gonna show you guys is something I was sent but I
was so ecstatic when it was sent to me that I literally like lost it
I'm wore it around the house for pretty much the whole day I was pumped and it
is this faux fur coat I don't know if you can tell but it's eggplant colored
it is an eggplant colored faux fur this was sent to me by Macy's it is from
Jones New York which hello Jones New York for becoming hip as hell with this
I want to tell you something about me if you did not know it already if you're a
newer viewer maybe you didn't watch anything that was fall or winter themed
I love colored fur my aesthetic is like print just color and fur sparkle and
fur there we go that's I you know I don't know what my aesthetic is my
aesthetic is basically just like you know like a kindergarteners craft
project where it's like glitter and pom-poms and a whole bunch of color and
like a mound of glue that's probably what my aesthetic
nets out to but whatever I'm owning it but I'm obsessed with this it's super
soft it is the most soft thing ever okay you know those really I've talked about
these before but the really soft blankets from Bed Bath & Beyond that are
like thirty dollars when you're like how are you so
soft amazing miracle blanket it is literally like one of those in a coat
and I'm obsessed with it and I just I wore it all day yesterday because I was
just I was happy and it's hot outside so that was like a stupid idea but when
you like something that much you just ya endure you endure for the love of it
so I'm pumped pump does not even like a good enough word for how excited I am
about this coat life motto always be ready to star in a rap music video the
next item that's kind of a sad story I purchased this because my dad is real
traditional and he was did not like what I brought to wear to my grandmother's
funeral so I had to buy something new so I bought this skirt and the reason I
bought this skirt and you're like why did she buy floral for a funeral my
grandmother was a painter and she did a lot of different art she was also
ceramics artist but she loved florals like this so this skirt reminded me of
my grandmother and that is why I bought it now one of the things I really like
about it is there is print on the tulle as you can see and there's also print
underneath and what it does is it gives this hazy blurred effect to the floral
which I just think is really pretty and really unique it is very poufy it was
poufier than I probably would have liked and that's because there's a double set
of tulle underneath so one two and I kind of think that this skirt might have
been better with a single lay but whatever it is what it is it's got like
a Ponte lining a tulle overlay then you have your like rayon fabric and then
another tulle overlay over top it's very cute I wish the circumstances in which I
purchased it were a little bit more cheerful but that said I really love
it so I absolutely adore this skirt I just think it's so cute and unique and
again the double layer is like one of my favorite little details ever this item I
also got for my grandmother's funeral to go with the skirt it's a really cute
black blouse from Torrid and I just really liked the cutout here because
it's not too much detail here my dad said it was really classy and
my dad does not give compliments like that very often so this is a data proof
shirt and again I'm just gonna highlight that cut out here a little bit better so
you can see it I mean it's like it feels like how a typical torrid shirt feels
yeah it's 100% polyester but I felt it was really comfortable and yeah it
looked good on it looked good in the outfit I don't know what else to say
about it look good see it's just simple classy but like a
little bit different with the cutout which I like uh itch in my nose I'm just
gonna go for it I'm just gonna go for it oh the next item I got is from made
well and I have heard a lot of things about made well and how made well was
supposed to fit and blah blah and I was like you know I'm just gonna buy some
stuff and figure it out on my own because there's a lot of like debate but
no one was actually like trying their clothing on so I bought this sweater
which I will tell you it was sewn up here but I did an improv show and I
literally slid on my stomach to the front of the stage to help theoretically
again I was acting save my life fortune which at that in this skit was beanie
babies so I did pull that apart but I don't really care cuz I think it looks
fine it's a crossover kind of ballet style sweater and honestly I don't have
a lot of cleavage I like a little bit of like my undershirt or even my bra to
show because I'm a sexy lady so I'm totally fine with it what I am obsessed
with is how soft it is and the color the color is not quite mustard not quite
brown it's just a very versatile neutral and I'm into it this is
nylon wool and alpaca with a little bit of elastic and one thing I will say is
it does not hold its shape super well so I've obviously worn this I have not
washed it but you can see that it's kind of stretched out a little bit so there's
elastistane and that's supposed to help like preserve the sweater but it again
I've put it under unusual circumstances sliding on my stomach
literally like a seal or maybe wasn't the best thing to do in this sweater but
I will do anything to deliver comedic genius so I'm gonna wash it
and see how it goes I just like that more options are
available for plus and I think this is a really solid option this is a knock it
out of the park item staple for your closet next is a pair of jeans from made
well I have not tried these on it's just been hot and I'm just like oh the idea
of putting my body and a pair of jeans terrifying so I have saved these I got
these in a 37 which equates to like a 24 so we'll see how these net out I do like
that they've got some really really nice stretch to them but the stretch like
like actually pulls back so it's not gonna wear out or sag but I don't know
if they're actually gonna fit me size wise so we'll find out in the
future beep so I was actually really scared to
try these jeans on the sizing on it is a 37 inch waist which is not the size of
my waist but it equated to a 24 or so they said so it was really nervous and
hesitant and like jeans just getcha sometimes but I was pleasantly surprised
these made well jeans are actually really comfortable they have a nice
stretch to them and they seem really true to size so props to them I
almost wish they would just change their sizing to be something that's more
familiar to plus women we're not used to shopping like like like waist inch sizes
we don't know what our sizes are so that's my only like beef but I really
like them and I'm just I'm just surprised I'm surprised that they fit me I'm shocked next is another
item from made well this is a cardigan I just loved the color blocking in it it's
that same mixture of merino wool a little bit of nylon and then also the
alpaca but it's so soft and then I loved the striping pattern on it going from a
cream to like a rust orange into that you know
lovely kind of olive green and then into I guess we would call this a cornflower
blue look at me in my color terminology crushing it this is again super soft
very true to size I don't know why people were freaking out of the sizing
because I find that I'm really actually impressed they got it way better than
most people usually get when they first launched a plus line so into it these
are the perfect fall colors it fits super well it's sized right on point I'm
really loving made well's plus it's bananas next is a dress I
wore and almost broke the internet because of all the sequins this is from
ASOS I wore this to speak at a conference in Chicago I kind of feel
like when I'm on stage I really have to like commit to the glitter and lasers
aesthetic and this just felt right on on-trend for me so it's just a full
sequin dress and kind of this rosy pink I love the color sequins on it because
it just gives this nice little slight blue green tint to it but then keeps
that pink alive the slip underneath is detachable and there is a sash somewhere
I don't know where the sash is right now because I tied it around Data's neck
because I was trying to take a picture with him it did not work out because he
does not like the camera but it does have a sash that does tie around the
waist and this is removable as well it snaps in here at the top as you can
see so you can unsnap it and wear this just as like a sheer kimono if you want
to go bold or you can use the slip underneath if you want to be more
conservative and day to day wear because you know just that day to day wear of
sequins I do that I I act like it's funny but like I literally do that I
literally wear sequins on the daily I love it glitter all through the night next is two jackets from ASOS the first
I'm not gonna put it on I'm not putting things on until later and this is this is the
other coat I will live in this summer not this summer Anna lives in fur coats
in the summer that's winter it is a faux leopard print
fur jacket from ASOS and it's just oversized and amazing and I love it
it's not as soft as the purple one and that's like my biggest sadness about
that says this feels a little bit more Scratchy
that purple one so soft this one not as soft but I'm gonna give it a pass
because I like the styling they're like two different aesthetics and I need to
make sure that all of my aesthetics are covered by faux fur this season because
that's how I live my life my best life is lived in the winter months in faux
fur so I just love the notched collar and it's just a standard thing the
closure on it is hook-and-eye so it's a little bit annoying I feel like I can't
find a good closure on a fur coat like I don't close them a lot because I hate
the way the closures are either they're like too hard for me to do especially
when I've had a few drinks or I just like don't like the way it looks in the
way that they've done the closures so I'm still holding out for like a fur
coat that I actually like the way it closes
there's nothing dumber than standing in like an amazing faux fur coat in like 90
degree weather when your AC is off so basically I'm sweating for you right now
said I still love this coat I still really love this coat this is another
jacket it's basically all my winter jacket shopping is pretty much done now
and this is a huge bomber jacket with maroon faux fur as if there is any surprise as to
what those would be lined in maroon faux fur lining and it looks like a standard faux
leather this is actually just the back side of this faux fur fabric it tends to
have this like coated thing that looks like leather but it's not has these
amazing lining all the way through so the whole jacket inside is the soft faux
fur and then there's like some little details where it's reversed to give you
some color pops you can have it closed and down and zipped or you can pop the
cuff which is what how I was wearing it when I was trying it on in my apartment
looking cute I think this is really great I thought
this would look really great like what I had envisioned in my head is like this a
pair of jeans a white t-shirt my leopard print shoes so like this is my rock and
roll style so my leopard is kind of like my vintage my purple one is definitely
like my classier boss lady one and this is my like rock-and-roll rebel winter
coat so covered on all bases ready for the snow yeah I'm kind of got to shut
down the jacket parade flyin to the danger zone this jacket makes me feel like I'm in Top Gun the next is
an item that was sent to me by rebel Wilson's team I have not tried it yet
straight up it is a black faux suede dress it's just a great cut here just
like a standard neckline the faux suede feels really great and what I like is
it's all the way around sometimes when you get these dresses they do like a
different Ponte knit in the back so it looks like faux suede in the front and
then Ponte in the back and I'm like just commit to an aesthetic like I want it
I'm an all the way around girl like I don't want your sequins on one side and
I want your faux suede on one side if you're going to commit to it commit to
it and that's what I really like about this also that faux suede still has
some nice stretch and give to it so it's still going to fit your body comfortably
it's going to move with you it's not tight it does have a slit down the back
which is lined with some nice piping this is what makes the difference
between mid-level price point and a slightly higher price point is you see
how the finishing is it's just beautifully finished you can see right
here that there's an attention to detail there's some nice piping on it that's
actually holding the seams you can tell that a little bit more time and a little
bit more money went into constructing this piece so I have not tried it on so
you can see to the right my first experience with it who's that lady sexy
lady I don't know how the song goes but I just wanted you to know that
I feel bangin in this dress next was also sent to me
by rebel Wilson's team but I wear it literally all the time
it's this fun little sweater with a one-shoulder cutout not a sweater it's
actually a sweatshirt this thing is the softest sweatshirt ever I lived in it
again when it was home for the funeral it's like most depressing haul ever
let's talk about death but I just lived in it because I wanted to feel
comfortable but I also didn't want to look sloppy just like gross and this
allowed me to feel like I was in pajamas but to look a little bit nicer I
literally went everywhere in it and worth this and a pair of leggings and
just pretended like I dressed like this all the time and it was so comfortable so big
fan of the sweatshirt big fan I can't like have you feel
this fabric through the camera but I'm telling you it is some premium
sweatshirt ish and I am here for it this is the final piece I got from them and I
actually was just wearing it so I have to turn it back to the right side I love it
it's super sexy super hot and I didn't think I would like it I actually thought it
was kind of lame and then I put it on my body and I was like oh wait no this is
like fire like this is like if I had a milkshake that brought boys to the yard
this this shirt would be the milkshake essentially it is this purple I guess
magenta I don't know what color you would call this like it's in between
purple and pink and it ruches up the front with a tie and then it's long
sleeves so it kind of gives you this wide neckline naturally just because of
the ruching and then it gives you this like v-shape and since I'm bigger in
the hips it just kind of accentuates my natural curve which is just it's real
sexy I'm bringin sexy back when I wear it the fabric is just a standard
t-shirt fabric it's very very comfortable
this right here is also super well constructed so you can lengthen it or
heighten it how much as you want and it's not
damage sometimes when you see like cords like this they break really easily
because they're not like a fabric that can take tugging and pulling but this
has actually been done quite well to the fact where it can take a lot of jerking
around okay 14 year old boy thought that was
funny moving on I love this shirt because it's fairly covered and it
just gives you this small flesh triangle everybody can see my flesh triangle but
I love it it's I don't know I just I'm into it someone said it made them think
of drapes and I dressed up as drapes yes I was curtains for Halloween so maybe
that's why I liked it so much I was 11 I made my own costumes every year and thus
I was curtains one year now I've worn this shirt once maybe twice it's a crop
top wrap ballet top it comes from girlfriend collective now what I will
tell you about girlfriend collective is that they do run small but spoiler alert
I hear they're extending their sizes I don't know when that will be or in what
form that will be but I'm wearing a 3x on top and it feels more like a 2x I
kind of go in between those two lines and I will say I wish that this could be
in a size larger so note that when you're shopping there like a 3x is
really not a true 3x as you would say like at torrid or Lane Bryant or any of
the other stores it's definitely more like a 2x but I love this it's a really
nice cotton it wraps and I and I like them because they're an indie designer
that's providing kind of great different cuts really high construction at a good
price point so if you haven't checked out girlfriend collective definitely
check them out especially with their sizes supposedly expanding I really love
the design aesthetic it's simple but it's definitely modern something that
you don't see like everywhere ok so one of my favorite new indie designers and
actually the same designer that made this shirt
I'm tired bloop is a brand called Big Bud press and I want to show you guys two
pieces from them and talk about them I love them they are all made in the USA
they are all hand constructions they're all just very thoughtfully made but the
shiz is hard to get because it sells out right away so if you see a piece that
you like here it's probably not available right now but you should go to
the site and like keep on it because if you don't you will never get it I've
been trying to get a jump suit from them for like six months
I'm never going to get it that's how I feel anyway this is the first shirt from that
I think you guys might have seen me wear this it's a rainbow ringer t I love
that on one side the ringers are pink and on the other the ringers are blue
this is all hand done so each one is unique so each little rainbow is hand
airbrushed there's a man whose job is to airbrush rainbows who is living the
dream that man I love the cotton I think it's very very comfortable I tend to
size up one size for them just because it's a hip problem it's definitely cut
in a men's sizing versus a woman's even though it is unisex so with bigger hips
I dropped that number up make the bass go I don't know what I'm doing I've watched too much
tick-tock is what that is Rainbowlicious I love it color I love color
the next item from them I'm obsessed with it is a pinafore dress in my
favorite color mustard yellow and it has adorable little front pockets I
love that the contrasting yellow is just slightly off there's something very
satisfying about that like it's wrong but it's right I love that I can a store
who knows what in this pocket up here I guess pens brushes a tampon what else would
fit in there one of those mini spray perfumes that
you buy at Sephora or whatever I can store it right there
it zips up the back I don't know I just I love it I love the cut of it
I love the fabric itself is this nice girthy with a little bit of stretch but
not too much but enough to like move with your body so yeah definitely into
this big bud press pinafore so I'm obsessed with this it's like the cutest
little pinafore ever and I love that it's it such a bright color and the
little striping details down the side this pocket I don't know what it's for but I
like it and then it's also got normal pockets too it's it's a win next I have
a sweater from volcom I wanted to try out their plus line I will say I am a
little bit disappointed I felt like not a lot of things were
available so I was like eh I'm not gonna buy something I don't like then I saw
the sweater and I was like okay I'm into this I'm feeling this this is just a
black you know standard cardigan sweater but bam rainbow accent sleeves I
like them because they're not fitted they're kind of go out in a little bit
wider area and they are like a 3/4 sleeve length and I just thought it was
a fun little details especially if you're wearing like again jeans and like
a colored shirt you can throw this on about everything and it's not just your
same old same old black and adds like a little bit of color it's a waffle knit
which is pretty nice so it's a little bit breezy this is a great like
transitional sweater and it doesn't have any closures or anything it just goes
down in the front there are some little pockets here but but really it's mostly
about the sleeve I am really impressed with the construction of it but again I
wish their extended sizes was a little bit more fulfilling when I was on
made well I'd like was like whoa yes cool yeah and then when I checked out
volcom I was like oh okay so there's like two things here that are really
plus and beyond what you used to offer oh no that's just that's just me just
serving some tea so I'm really digging this cardigan and love that the arms are
bigger here this is especially good for plus because our arms very in sizes
and this is something that styled a little larger in the arm but also makes
it more comfortable and more like likely to be worn by a wide variety of plus
bodies overall I'm impressed it's lightweight so it's perfect for like
early fall next we have a t-shirt from Tuesday bassein now I also got
underwear so it was supposed to be this t-shirt and some underwear but the
underwear has not come yet is in the mail so in the future haul you will
see the underwear I purchased from her it's just a ringer tee I liked it cuz
it's just a basic tee but a little bit different cuz it's got a pink ringer and
then a little gold what do you call that piping accent to it I like Tuesday bassein use recycled
fabrics which is great because for those of you that are looking for things that
are less harmful to the environment all of her fabrics are recycled and
everything is kind of limited because it's what fabric is left that she's been
able to salvage so the underwear I purchased is all salvaged fabric which
means no one will be able to purchase the underwear again once it's gone
because she's basically using up the fabric so I've always really liked her
designs and I try to support her regularly as a designer because I think
that when somebody is doing something you like invest in them so they can do
more of it I want people to continue to make me rad stuff to wear so I'm gonna
put my money behind it it's the perfect basic babydoll t-shirt
it's also really nicely made which I appreciate whoa we're on the last item
of a super long haul and it is a windbreaker I just wanted something
because I feel like I'm either like freezing or I'm like burning my face off
and I didn't have anything for like it's chilly and I just want to like have a
light jacket I didn't have a light jacket so I got this one
it's a pink windbreaker with some nice frill details this came from Nordstrom
rack this is like a super bargain and I think it is absolutely Buttercup
adorable I love the frill detail so it's not for everybody but it is a hundred
percent for me and I thought this would be great as I transition into colder
weather hopefully New York get your act together please get colder but as it
does this will be a good kind of like transition in I can't even with how cute
this wind breaker is this is definitely one of the most
unique things I've seen I love the ruffles I love the color I love that it's a
windbreaker I'm just I'm here for it I'm like here for it a hundred percent it gives
me this like eighties child clothing vibe which I am here for that actually
might be my aesthetic eighties child clothing I have a shopping problem
we already knew that right we already knew that that's like not a surprise
shocker I shop a lot I'm excited about the stuff I have I'm excited about
styling this stuff for you which you guys are gonna see soon shortly hopefully
