Youtube daily report Dec 4 2018

FAKE IDENTITY

Marlene was here this afternoon.

She brought a check for a portion of what

Augusto had stolen from Eliseo and me.

I don't want that money.

It's yours to do with what you will.

I was madly in love with you.

You became your father.

Why don't you admit that you still like me?

That you still have feelings for me.

-To whom did you sell the house? -The mayor of Alamos, Sonora.

For once, I don't know how to protect you, how to save you.

They caught on to Isabel.

They know she's passing herself off as Camila Guevara.

<i> On your toes, buddy.</i> <i> You've got to come back.</i>

You have to convince everyone that Mr. Gavino

couldn't have killed Mr. Eliseo.

I proposed that he and I go far away together,

and do you know how he responded?

He said yes.

What's happening to my son is your fault!

How could what's happening to Porfirio be my fault?

I'll talk to that damn gringa, and I'll tell her

I'm the only one responsible for this mess.

FAKE IDENTITY

You will neither speak to nor confront that woman.

Why not?

You can't do that. Come on!

Why not?

What? And tell her the truth?

You think she'll be satisfied when she finds out the truth?

We took advantage of the situation

and stole her family members' identities!

Exactly!

I'll tell her I planned it all and to leave Isabel alone.

Then she'll want revenge, and do you know what will happen?

You'll go to prison for life!

It can't be for that long. I didn't kill that family.

You think she'll believe you?

Stop relying on your gut.

You have to keep a cool head about this.

A cool head, Salas? Please!

Isabel is in danger again because of me

when she hasn't done anything. How can I relax?

I know you love her,

but what you're talking about is suicide.

Let me keep an eye on Margot,

let me find out if she's got anything on you.

Give me some time. It's all I ask.

There is no time!

This ticking time bomb is going to explode.

-Time? -Give me time to look into it.

If I don't find anything, we'll do things your way.

Right now you have to convince Isabel to leave the city.

If you truly care about her and what happens to her,

convince her to leave.

I'll try, but I'm not making any promises.

I spoke to the doctor.

He said Porfirio's doing very poorly.

He needs a liver transplant as soon as possible,

and if he doesn't get it soon, there's a chance he could die.

Then he really is sick?

Why would I lie?

I've never once lied to you.

I don't believe it.

He's dying, so I wanted him to see his father

in case anything happened.

I know you two are close.

You'd love that, wouldn't you? So you could be rid of him.

Nothing would suit you better right now.

Rid myself of Porfirio? Are you crazy?

Why didn't you tell me sooner that he was sick?

Because you never believe what I say.

You think I want you here screaming in my face?

No.

I called you because he got really bad!

-I want to see him. -Of course.

-Where is he? -Room 302, down the hall.

Alright, I called you here because I need you to find

an old lady by the name of Margot Guevara.

She's a gringa, she's no spring chicken,

and she was last seen in Colonia Doctores,

which means she's staying in some cheap motel in the area.

Ask around... I don't need to tell you how to do your jobs.

What do we do if we find her?

Notify me immediately.

I have a business proposition for her.

Get cracking.

You heard her. Let's go.

What?

Circe's taking off and abandoning the business?

I told you!

That girl's head is someplace else.

This is about Diego.

She proposed that they go far away, and guess what!

He agreed!

What about us?

What's going to happen to us? To the business?

Circe said you and I could manage it.

I'm sure the Colombians will be thrilled.

She's obsessed with Diego,

and it's keeping my girl from seeing her destiny.

I'll tell you what's going to happen.

Everything's going to ----,

and I don't need Tarot cards to tell you that!

That's why we have to put up a united front

and tell her that what she's going to do is madness!

Now? When she's a powerful badass?

She wants to throw it all away after all this cost her

blood, sweat, and tears!

-Settle down. -You and I must do something!

Calm down before you have a heart attack!

When you get like that, it's like you're the only one

that wants there to be a cartel.

Do you see yourself as a boss?

Ever since she was just a pup

she wanted to do what her daddy did.

It was always her dream, she's just forgotten it.

All I want is for her to be happy.

Then let her do whatever she wants.

Because even if your cards predicted the Apocalypse,

she wouldn't give a good -------.

I understand.

You're afraid of making the same mistake with Salas

that you made with Mr. Augusto.

Yes, that's part of it.

But Salas is a good person. He's not like your ex-husband.

Good morning. He's not like your ex-husband.

Why don't you give him a chance?

It isn't that easy, Zoraida.

I know they're not the same, but...

Oh, I don't know.

The worst thing a person like you can do

is think that because you made a mistake once

it's no longer worth taking another chance.

And this is coming from me.

I've been a widow longer than I was married,

and you don't know how much I regret it.

Yes, the truth is that

every time I come home to the tenement at night,

I have no one to talk to or share my experiences with.

It's not easy, especially for a person like me

who was always surrounded by so many people.

Maybe you learned a thing or two with Mr. Augusto,

but let them go.

Take whatever you learned, keep moving forward,

and leave the doors to your heart open

so that love may enter it. You don't want to be alone.

It's not like that, Zoraida.

Look, if I'm being honest, I just don't feel attractive.

I feel weird every time Ignacio tells me I'm pretty.

I know, I know.

I'm sure it has to do with all the times

Augusto called me drab and dull.

I believed him, but...

I don't know, just the thought of something like that

happening again makes me panic.

No!

Don't let fear get the better of you.

Take a risk.

I've been alone a long time, and I'll tell you,

being alone is worse than that fear you have

of making another mistake.

Take a chance! It'll be fine.

If you say so, then it must be true.

Give yourself another chance. You won't be sorry.

Diego.

Good morning.

Hi.

Zoraida, I thought I'd find you here.

I need to speak to Isabel.

Know where I can find her?

Just look at what they've done to you.

If I'd believed you were sick...

But all I could do was talk crap.

Dad.

Hey, son.

I'm here.

I'm glad you're here,

though I wish I didn't have to be this sick.

You should've listened to me.

I told you to stop drinking,

to stop chasing after that damn broad.

But no, you just had to do what you wanted, and look at you.

It's not Chabela's fault, Dad.

Of course it's her fault!

Things have gone bad for you ever since you met that woman.

You wouldn't stop drinking, you didn't eat or sleep.

Now, the bill has come due for you,

and what a price you're paying.

Stop it, Dad.

I don't want to fight with you, much less Chabela.

I've got one foot in the grave already.

I'm dying, and all you can do is scold me.

I work inside, but I have to change these.

We have a different menu today.

Here's the address of the hospital Corona was admitted to.

I'm sure you'll find Isabel there.

All she does is go from work to the hospital and back.

She barely even comes home.

I heard the silly girl went back to work at Babel.

She had no choice.

She needs the money for Corona's transplant.

We can calmly discuss that some other time.

Fine.

-Have a nice day. -Be very careful.

-Thanks, Zoraida. -God bless you.

Goodbye.

Well? We getting out of here?

You bring my share of the money?

I did. Why do you want it?

I've got something to do. I'll fill you in on the way.

What now?

I got it. You want to stay here.

But I brought you some money for your expenses.

Thanks very much, Marlene, but I can't take it.

I'm going to work.

What about school?

Are you going to drop out and end up working at a call center

or waiting tables at a restaurant?

What about everything we've sacrificed

so you could go to school?

I'll continue to go to school, and I'll also work.

I'll do both, like many other people do.

If they manage, why can't I?

I'm not saying you can't, I'm saying you don't have to.

Please cut it out and just take the money.

I said no.

Why not?

You think it's Augusto's? It's not.

It's my money that I earned working hard.

Anyway, I returned all the money to Fernanda

that Augusto had deposited into my account.

Every penny.

-Really? -Yes.

It was her money, I couldn't keep it.

That's great. I'm so happy.

Please take it.

Please take the money.

You'll have plenty of time to work

after you finish school and get your degree.

Please.

Okay, fine.

Just so I don't have to ask Chucho for money.

Hey, is that woman his mother?

Yes.

Are they indigenous,

or does she dress like that because she likes it?

They're like the rest of us.

Don't misinterpret me. I don't mean anything by it.

I just want to understand why Chucho never got the chance

to go to school.

Stop.

I won't let you badmouth Chucho or his mother.

They're good people.

Relax, alright? I'm not badmouthing them.

And I have no doubt they're good people.

Diana...

I just want you to open your eyes

and realize Chucho and you aren't the same.

Marlene, that was a classist and racist comment.

We're doing well.

We have our second hearing today,

from which we'll emerge in great shape.

The one problem that remains is the murder charge.

Don't worry.

Augusto turned up,

and it appears he wants to cooperate with us.

The only bad thing is he was shot

when he tried to escape with Joselito.

You're going to have to visit the capital.

I believe we can use him getting shot in our favor.

We'll say Joselito did it to get rid of Augusto.

Which is what happened.

Joselito is the real murderer.

Well, now that Joselito is missing

and you won't finger the mayor's real killer,

we'll have to saddle Jose with this gift from heaven too.

Alright.

See you soon.

Today is Gavino's second hearing.

What have you heard?

<i> There's heat all around you,</i> <i> Jose.</i>

<i> Gavino denied any knowledge</i> <i> of drug trafficking</i>

<i> and says you were the leader.</i>

<i> All you did</i> <i> was tarnish his name.</i>

<i> It's going to be even harder</i> <i> for you to come back.</i>

Relax, Topo.

No matter what that dude does, he's not getting out of prison.

Even if I have to bribe the prison janitor to kill him,

that guy ain't getting out, got it?

So we'll wait and see.

Don't worry, the hospital offers different kinds of help

and support programs for patients.

-Isabel. -I'll look into it.

Hi.

Sorry, Doctor.

Don't worry. We'll be in touch.

Goodbye.

What are you doing here?

THE ACERO DYNASTY

Call my mom a slut again.

Now that's a boss.

Teca will only leave you alone when he dies.

Were are you going in such a hurry?

I'm going to find my grandma.

We know where the signal came from.

Good. Where'd it come from?

It came from the FBI.

Who's the traitor?

It came from Floyd's office.

Are you saying these guys were in touch with Floyd?

No, I'm saying that the signal came from Floyd's office.

It could be anyone.

They're from the School of the Americas.

They're ex-military, mercenaries.

Yes, I'm familiar with their tattoos.

-Hey! -I'll go get the saw.

We'll be waiting.

What the hell have you gotten yourself into?

This is the only place where we can do this

without being questioned.

I get it now.

Floyd never wanted me at the Bureau.

He created all sorts of snags when I first started

and fired me as soon as he could.

I think Floyd and Teca are partners.

No, that can't be.

Floyd has received many commendations from the Bureau.

He was highly recommended to me prior to his arrival.

It'd be counterproductive to accuse him

without having any concrete evidence.

Then what should we do, Almeida?

Wait till he feels like fessing up?

Smith.

Who?

Malcolm Smith joined the FBI

around the same time I started working at the Texas offices.

He was unbearable, very violent,

and claimed to have military experience.

Was he at the School of the Americas?

He claimed to have taught there.

Is that so?

And how did he go from teacher to agent?

He was dismissed for assault.

If he was so violent, why did the FBI hire him?

The background check would've caught all that.

He was recommended by a close friend.

Floyd, of course.

Malcolm and Floyd are thick as thieves.

If we want to get dirt on Floyd, Smith is our guy.

Then we just have to talk to him.

He's in prison.

Where the hell are those four minutes?

Who killed you?

Who?

Alberto, this is an emergency. Call me back immediately.

Moreno, why aren't you at home resting?

I wanted to talk to you, but...

Is Castillo...?

He was murdered.

-Murdered? -Yes.

Whoever did it erased the security footage.

What's that?

You know exactly what it is.

I found it in your trashcan.

Don't you remember it?

Large sums of money were transferred

into John Floyd's account in the Cayman Islands.

Where the hell did you get all this money?

Moreno, please.

You isolated me, you bastard.

Were you trying to drive me away?

Or just keep me from noticing

you're an ally of Acasio Martinez?

Impressive. Most impressive.

You figured it out on your own and found me out.

Stay away or else, you bastard!

Get back or I'll ------- shoot you!

I overestimated you.

I thought you were going to kill me,

but you're the one who's going to die.

Mandrake!

Boss?

What's wrong, boss?

It burns!

The hand burns!

He's burning up!

Remove his sheets.

Get the hand off! Get it off!

-Mandrake... -I'll be right there.

What's that?

I've had it with shots.

I need to break the fever. We can't lose the prosthesis.

You may not understand or want to see it now,

but you'll thank me later, boss.

You need to rest.

Please.

The medicine will kick in soon.

Let's go.

Mandrake, the hand isn't working.

It looks terrible.

I know.

I know, damn it!

So much blood has been shed in this the war against Teca.

If you don't kill him,

that bastard will kill you and your son.

Narcos like him... are the reason my daughter's dead.

The guy she was dating worked for a drug lord,

but my daughter was the one who was shot.

I don't want my son to live surrounded by death.

Are you willing to lose everything

just so you won't have to face him?

I already lost what I cared about most.

My son and I are on our own.

Come on, Lucas.

You knew when we got involved that I don't belong to anyone.

I'm no good at serious relationships.

The word commitment makes me break out in hives.

Why do you think I never had children?

I like you a lot, but I'm not asking you to marry me.

Marrying you would be like... marrying my doppelgãnger.

Can you imagine how horrible that would be?

Who'd want to live with their soul mate, someone so carefree?

Who wants a drama-free life?

Nope. Horrendous!

Just awful!

Joke around all you want,

but we get along because there are no commitments between us.

We live day by day, for the here and now.

When you get serious, you think you own the other person.

That's when the problems and jealousy starts.

What?

Did I say something wrong?

Oh, I know.

Sorry, Nancy, but I'm not in my right mind.

I need to think.

Vicenta has become your conscience.

I really like her.

You have nothing to worry about.

That woman's going to give me nightmares.

Oh, no.

No, Mecha! Drop it!

You have to understand I want nothing to do with Teca.

Alright. But can you do me a favor?

Help Lucia get to the States.

No, Mecha. I can't.

I haven't done that in a long time.

I have some savings.

It's not much, but it'll be enough to pay the fee.

Money isn't the issue. I get what you're saying...

I understand money isn't the issue,

but let me get you in touch with someone.

In touch with who? What for?

I know someone who can destroy Teca Martinez.

who's betrayedhd

That means you betrayed theyour own bloode.

and I'm supposed to act as if nothing has happened?

What are you talking about, Zulfikar?

His Majesty Sultan Ahmed Khan.

Nasuh Pasha,

speak if you have something to say

or say your last prayers.

Your Majesty, please,

I beg for your forgiveness.

I don't deny my mistake.

However, please, let me explain.

What you did can't be explained, Nasuh Pasha.

Not only did you escape the battlefield,

but also executed the Anatolia governor.

I had to. I had no choice.

I went there for him

and for Cigalizade Pasha, too.

Don't deny your fault in this, Pasha.

This has nothing to do with me.

You were supposed to send me backup.

I trusted you, but you didn't send anyone.

If I hadn't retreated,

hundreds of soldiers would've been killed.

Is that true, Cigalizade Pasha?

I sent backup, Your Majesty.

But you know the weather conditions.

Your Majesty.

I beg you, please, for your forgiveness.

I swear on my ancestors that I'd never betray you.

However, you should worry about your viziers.

Their negligence in the Celali rebellion is critical.

If you're in command, the rebellion will end.

Murat Pasha, what do you think?

Nasuh Pasha is undoubtedly an experimented statesman.

The viziers' ignorance and the mistake

made by the East governor Cigalizade Pasha

are evident offenses that should be considered.

That's why I think

that Nasuh Pasha should be forgiven.

Nasuh Pasha...

I spare your life.

But you'll no longer be the Halep governor.

Now you'll take on Diyarbakir.

I appreciate it, Your Majesty.

Murat Pasha,

Is he with you?

No, my sultana. But there's still time.

Are you sure that the shirt you made

is the same one that was given to my son?

Is it the same one?

I have no doubt.

Ripe apples! Buy these apples!

Hey, what are you doing here?

You should be at the headquarters.

Please, I need to see a friend first.

The preparations begun, the order is clear.

Everyone has to be at the headquarters.

Let's go now.

Forgive me, sir. This is really urgent.

-I won't take long. -Forget about it, let's go.

The Sultan?

We should get the midwife first, Kosem.

Cennet, do as I say!

Come on, my prince

Your Majesty...

The time has come.

Kosem is giving birth right now.

Blessed be Allah.

My Sultan, we have a son now.

Is it a boy or a girl?

It's time to celebrate.

Kosem Sultan has just given birth...

to a beautiful prince.

Your name is Mehmed.

Your name is Mehmed.

You'll be named after your ancestor,

the late Sultan Fatih Mehmed Khan.

hd

My Sultan.

What do you want, Kosem?

I know I offended you,

that I really hurt you.

And that I apologized many times.

Yes, you wrote dozens of letters.

However, it wasn't really you in those letters.

True.

They've murdered the naive Kosem

you were expecting to find in those letters.

Safiye Sultan did.

You keep talking about yourself.

About the things you've gone through.

You broke my heart, Kosem.

Now leave.

Go take care of your son.

Ahmed, you're a father now.

Now you can really understand

what unconditional love to a child is.

What is this all about?

Some time ago my father arrived in here

because he wanted to find me.

Your father you say?

However, Safiye Sultan...

found him before he could find me,

and she held him hostage.

The Sultana threatened to kill my father.

She said she'd set him free...

She'd let him go if I convinced you...

to let her stay in the palace.

I lied to you to save my father's life, Ahmed.

But even though I did what she asked...

The Sultana killed him anyway.

Perhaps I should have told you everything from the start.

But I was afraid.

I was so afraid.

I feared for my father's life.

And I used the secrets of Fahriye Sultan...

to send Safiye Sultan far away from the palace.

Only Ahmed, don't leave me.hd...

What are you doing here?

You know why I'm here.

There's still hope for us.

Everything is in the past.

And I almost lost my life.

I won't escape again.

I'm tired, you understand?

I'm tired.

Now I hate you and all the love I ever felt for you.

You're not serious.

You're not speaking from your heart.

I was willing to ruin my family for you.

For that reason I've been here for months.

I'll be murdered as soon as I step one foot out the door.

Instead you chose the life of your brother

over mine.

On that day...

everything came to an end for me.

Sultana...

I'll scream to the top of my lungs

if you don't leave right now.

In fact, I'll tell Sultan Ahmed.

Listen carefully.

Don't ever get near me again.

Bolso de tela, piel y crochet, atrévete a combinar - Duration: 1:52.

This is a fabric bag, I have cut fabric squares and I have crocheted

DC on 2 two rows using a similar colour of the fabric squares.

I have joined the squares with a thread that contrasts in colour with the squares.

At the bottom and on each side, I have used an imitation leather and at the top too

For the zipper, I have prepared a video where you can see how it is sewn

I have done so with a lighter colour fabric so you can see it better

The handles are on each side, and that is a mistake I think because when you

hang the bag, it folds like this and it is not very... well, it is not ugly eather but

I would have prefered to put the handles in the middle but well, it is just to give you

ideas for sewing your own bags, follow your own creativity

Well, see you soon.

Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom Review - Duration: 7:36.

In what is easily one of the best platformers I've played this year, Monster Boy and the

Cursed Kingdom took me on a grand adventure filled with magic and wonder.

With its attention to detail to visuals, an enchanting soundtrack and entertaining exploration,

Monster Boy is one metroidvania platformer I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

Bringing back the vibes of Wonder Boy The Dragon's Trap, Monster Boy and the Cursed

Kingdom stars Jin.

He's a young blue haired warrior with a ton of heart.

While all is peaceful in the kingdom, a series a chaotic events leads to everyone in the

Kingdom being turned into monsters.

With everything in turmoil it's up to Jim to go across the cursed kingdom, collecting

the magical orbs that can fix this entire mess.

While narrative wise the story can be pretty straight forward, it does take you across

some beautiful landscapes filled with fun personalities.

You'll meet the likes of a baking panda and overworked pirates just to name a few.

It all feels like a world you can engulf yourself in, one that has all types of people living

in it with lives that go on beyond your own adventure.

When you boil it down, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a metroidvania game with

all aspects of the genre.

However, unlike how saturated that genre is, Monster Boy stands out among the rest.

The cursed kingdom is wide and diverse in the landscapes it provides.

Traveling through the forests, underwater and in the dark sewers, you'll come across

all sorts of creatures that'll try to stop you.

However, like your foes, you too come with a vast variety of abilities and tools.

That's actually where the Metroidvania aspects come into play.

As you travel to each part of the cursed kingdom in search for the magical orbs, you'll gain

new monster transformations that come with their own abilities.

These abilities are then used to traverse the different terrains of the kingdom as well

as fight off enemies you previously couldn't fight off before.

Where in other metroidvania games this usually works out by earning new powers, here it feels

more natural and integrated to the story, I love it.

What I particularly love is how it isn't just a change of cosmetics but rather actual

game design.

Rather than just saying, hey this is a block of ice so instead of just using a regular

sword you need a fire sword, it actually changes the entire way you play.

Playing as a snake puts you in more labyrinth like spaces that have you using moss to reach

areas you couldn't before.

It becomes a bigger game of figuring out puzzles and mazes as you try get from one point to

another.

On the other hand playing as a frog, you suddenly can use your tongue to perform fantastic feeling

acrobatic platforming or swim underwater, it feels completely different from every other

monster you can transform into.

In total there's six forms you can change into and throughout the 15 hour campaign,

I was challenged to use them in combinations that felt like puzzles on their own.

While I wouldn't describe the campaign as difficult, it does try to get you to think

outside of the box, taking into consideration the powers of your forms and tools you have.

You see aside from the monster forms, certain creators like the frog can't equip swords,

shields, shoes and other accessories.

It adds some rpg elements on top of everything.

The attributes of these tools can then be used to manipulate the environment and at

times solve puzzles.

The lion for example can't normally be underwater, he'll just float but.

However, attaching a pair of heavy iron shoes to him sinks him to the bottom.

Little touches like that lead to multiple "ah ha" moments anytime I was presented

with an obstacle.

I chased after that feeling with every new orb that I collected, unlocking a new monster

form with it that helped me further explore the world.

With every orb to collect also came boss fights that were the cherry on top of the explorations.

While they weren't particularly taxing or too difficult, they did push me to use my

powers in different ways, often times in combinations of different forms

There's also plenty for the completionist out there.

Scattered throughout every part of the world are secret areas that unlock an assortment

of new bonuses.

Whether it's new pieces of equipment, upgrade for the pig's many powers or even just coins

that can be reinvested in upgrades, there's no shortage for things to look out for.

Overall I was enamored by the adventure monster took me on.

The epic adventure was nothing short of superb, providing me was a great weekend of entertainment.

Monster Boy is absolutely breathing taking.

In what I can only describe as a Saturday morning cartoon in 2018, this game extrudes

charm in just about every corner of the cursed kingdom.

Upon starting the game I was introduced to a astonishing looking cartoon opening that

reminded me of something I'd see on 4Kids tv when I was a kid.

That's then translated perfectly into the lovely hand drawn gameplay animation.

The amazement is only better delivered through the attention to the animation throughout

every part of the world.

Warm lit torches illuminate the darkest crevasses in the sewers.

The sea side breeze pushes against the palm trees while in the grasslands, you can make

out the layers the make up the wide open fields in the background.

There's just so much going on in every section and it's hard not stopping to admire it

all.

Boss fight especially stand out as this great set pieces that at times can even mimic the

look of something completely animated, it's beautiful.

Playing on the Nintendo Switch, I got solid performance across the board with 1080p 60

in dock mode and a sharp looking 720p 60 in handheld mode.

On PS4 and Xbox One you get that same 1080p 60 performance that really do shine on oled

displays, it's simply eye catching.

Sadly I did come across some slight visual bugs like fish disappearing in the background

underwater and one instance where a boss became invincible.

The boss itself just meant I had to restart the fight and while it was annoying it didn't

really stop me from wanting to keep playing.

As much as the visuals help sell Monster Boys charm, a lot of it also comes from its brilliant

sound design.

Just how the smallest visual details got attention, so do the sounds of the world.

Running through the caves as a frog, I could hear and quite literally feel the pitter patter

of my footsteps thanks to the hd rumble on the Switch.

Swinging across the room with my tongue I could hear the every action along with the

occasional cartoony bop and pop to match up with the actions on screen.

Music was well done too.

In the dark sewers for example, I was accompanied by a mostly string track that gave off a sense

of wonder and curiosity.

It then picked up with a more heavy rock song as the more action heavy platforming sections

phased in.

The teams of Japanese composers like Yuzo Koshiro, Motoi Sakuraba and Takeshi Yanagawa

did a fantastic job creating the symphony for these worlds, highlighting just why their

work in games like Dark Souls and Shenmue became so iconic.

In a genre that only gotten increasingly more saturated with every new indie entry, Monster

Boy finds a way to shine its light and capture my imagination.

I had a blast exploring the cursed kingdom in the six different forms, each feeling like

a whole new way to play rather than just a cosmetic change.

It was all presented glorious hand drawn art style that was only better delivered thanks

to the whimsical soundtrack.

Whether you're a completionist looking for you next fix, someone that like platforming

games that challenge your critical thinking or heck just want something to play, you can't

go wrong with Monster Boy.

I give Monster Boy a 9.5/10.

Draw Tip Tuesday - Drop Shadows - Duration: 3:49.

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

Here's your weekly dose of inspiration to build a creative habit.

One drawing at a time.

Brought to you by Sketchbook Skool.

Hi!

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

I like working in my sketchbook, practicing my skills by drawing from observation.

It can be anything I see around me, or sometimes I find a photo as a reference to work from.

Lighting can be very interesting to take note of - and especially shadows.

Shading gives a lot of shape and depth to your drawing, but sometimes we forget the

drop shadow - and that little grey area below the subject might actually be the most important

part!

Today I will work from a picture, and will use a waterproof Pigma Micron fine liner 05,

a mop brush, water and watercolors.

I'll draw the pear shape first, then adding some of the texture and do some hatching to

indicate the shaded areas.

Now I'll add green and I will keep a white area for the highlights.

Fiddling around here, trying to move more pigment into the shaded areas… and I'll

let that dry.

But as you can see, the pear just floats on the paper, it has no context whatsoever.

So… let's mix a nice grey now.

I could use the black in the top corner, but I like my grey lively so I often mix brown

and blue together for a cool grey.

By adding the shadow, the pear suddenly sits on the surface.

You add weight to your subject, more depth, and also.

Very important: context.

The green paint hasn't completely dried yet, and so a little bit of it bleeds into

the grey wash - which isn't a bad thing at all.

In real life, the objects color is always reflected a bit onto the surface - so the

green mixing into the shaded area is a very happy accident, for a more natural effect.

Now that the drop shadow is added, I see that I need to add another layer of green to create

more balance to the painting.

Try this in your own sketchbook.

You can use watercolor, or just pen or pencil, color pencils - anything goes!

And I would love it if you share what you made!

If you use the hashtags DrawTipTuesday and SketchbookSkool on any social media channel,

we can see what you made!

See you next week!

Bye.

Queer Lit Readathon Update and Kinda a Vlog? | Vlogmas - Duration: 4:49.

So I'm terrible. It's 9:05, on day three of Vlogmas, and I haven't even filmed or done anything.

I was planning on doing something, but I just... didn't because I spent most of my day reading

for the Queer Lit Readathon, if you didn't already know, I'm doing that this week.

So for this, I decided to just do unscripted, and update on Queer Lit, and my books, what's changed,

and whatever. So... Let me put you down, actually.

No, that's too dark.

Not much better, but we'll just go with it.

So my TBR had five, maybe seven books. Well. I may have added to that.

I ended up getting this, Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World. Because I just--and another book was...

Disoriental. I just couldn't resist trying to meet every challenge on the board, so Ivy will meet middle grade,

and Disoriental will meet translated.

And I also added, after I made my TBR for Queer Lit Readathon,

I ordered Peter Darling (signs it as in sweetheart).

[sweetheart]? No, Darling (spells it out).

And I decided I wanted to go ahead and order Check, Please! It's a graphic novel, a novel.

It should be arriving tomorrow, hopefully? Sometime tomorrow, or sometime this week.

Okay, so what I've finished so far this week. On day two of the readathon. I've finished Peter Darling.

Actually, back up. I'm not going to tell you what my thoughts are on them because I will be doing

a wrapup when the readathon is over. So I will just say what I've read. That's it. That's it.

The second book I read was Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World. Third, I read... Queer: A Graphic History.

Yeah, that's where I am right now. If you want more current, real-time updates on what I'm reading,

when I'm reading, whatever, follow me on Twitter and Instagram. I post on both.

I post on Instagram Stories, and Twitter, obviously, Twitter.

In other semi-related news, Christmas came a little early for me.

I got a new MacBook Pro laptop.

I love it. For one, it's like half the size of my old one. And two, it's SO MUCH faster!

It's a SSD (Solid State Drive), so... The speed on that thing is *amazing.*

Because my old laptop is a MacBook too, Pro too, and it's from 2012, so...

It was starting to get really annoying to use.

The new laptop is just so much better. I'm so happy that I got it.

I'm not sure how many actual vlog style videos I will have, because I don't get out much.

I should, but... I don't know. We'll see...how I do with that.

I do still need some ideas for what to do for Vlogmas videos.

It can be Christmas related, it can be random, whatever. Ah! Yes, that reminds me.

I do want to do a Q&A at some point this month, so go ahead and leave any questions you have for me.

Whatever, it can be *random* questions. Whatever you want.

I will say this though, if I have already answered it in a previous video, I won't answer it again.

I did a three-part Q&A, so I will link that in places.

Check those first before you ask a question.

Or just go ahead and ask anyway, and if I already answered it, I won't answer it.

I'm just going to shut up and upload this! [bisexual finger guns]

If you want to support my content financially, I have Patreon, which is monthly, and ko-fi, which is one-time.

Subscribe to this channel. Follow me on all my socials - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

Thanks for watching, see you tomorrow!

Arsenal star Aubameyang sends rivals message after stunning Tottenham win - Duration: 5:37.

The Arsenal striker shot to the top of the goalscoring charts with his brace in Sunday's 4-2 win over Tottenham

Aubameyang now has 10 Premier League goals this season, from 10 shots on target, despite insisting he is still not at his best

"Not bad, eh? I'm not at 100 per cent but it's coming, and today I felt very good on the pitch," he said

"I'm really happy because my best form is coming. "I don't know if I can win the Golden Boot

It's early in the season. I know that we have good strikers in the league so it will be tough

"But I'm happy that we won. The most important, as I always said, is the team. "Am I on the same level as Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, Mo Salah? I hope so

I think so, yeah." Aubameyang has 12 goals in all competitions this season and 20 in 27 Premier League games since his £56m move from Borussia Dortmund in January

That is despite often being forced to play wide to accommodate Alexandre Lacazette, though Sunday's strikes came with him restored to his favourite position

"I prefer it, of course. I think everybody knows it," Aubameyang said. "I like to play up front but I know that I can help the team

"Sometimes the coach puts me on the left side but it [centre-forward] is my favourite position

" After years of tearing defences apart in Germany the Gabon striker has taken to English football like a duck to water

And team-mate Sokratis, who played with him at Dortmund, is not at all surprised

"I know him for more than five years. He's a great player. Also in the Bundesliga he scored more than 25 goals every year," said the centre-back

"Am I surprised he's settled in so quickly in England? No, because he's a good player and if you also have good players around you in a good team it's not so difficult

" Asked whether he expected to find his feet so quickly, Aubameyang said: "Yes of course because the team helped me to settle in good

It's gone well. This was my best day in an Arsenal shirt."  After such an enthralling and controversial encounter – both clubs have been charged with failing to control their players – Eric Dier heralded a return to the good old-fashioned derby days, even if it is Arsenal fans who had the north London bragging right at work yesterday

Jan Vertonghen was sent off and there was a number of scuffles on the pitch as the lead changed hands twice

Four of the last nine north London derbies in the Premier League have petered out into honours-even draws, but Dier sensed there was an extra edge to Sunday's game with a top-four league place at stake

"Every loss hurts," he said. "The nice thing about the game is that it felt like a derby again

"I don't think it's felt that for quite a few years and football needs this kind of game

If you take the emotion out of these games then you're ruining football. "It can go for or against you at times but at least it felt like it felt like a derby again from everyone's point of view

That's really good for football. But we're not happy when we lose any game and this is no different

" Spurs started slowly after thrilling wins against Chelsea and Inter Milan and Dier admitted it was a struggle to maintain levels for so many high-level games

"We had a very good start against Chelsea and that was last week," he said. "You can say we're inconsistent

We want to enter every game in the best possible shape. Sometimes we can't do that

We need to improve in everything and that's just another aspect. "Second half we just weren't good enough

It's hard to say why straight after a game. But they were better than us and deserved to win

But there's so long to go in this league and we're very confident in ourselves. We were in the same position last year after we came here

"

Fort Tejon State Historic Park: Kern County, CA - Duration: 2:39.

What's up explorers and thanks for tuning in.

This last weekend I got to experience history come to life in a Frontier Army Days demonstration

at Fort Tejon State Historic Park in Kern County, California.

I can't wait to tell you all about it, so be sure to like this video and, if you're

not already, subscribe to this channel and turn on notifications.

Most Californian's, especially Angelinos, refer to the 40-mile stretch of Interstate

5 from Castaic up north to the San Joaquin Valley as "the Grapevine."

This important route plays a vital role in connecting Southern California to Northern

California and dates back all the way to 1772 when the Acting Governor of Alta California

was searching for a shorter pass between San Diego and Monterey.

In 1854, California had only been a state in the US for four short years, the California

gold rush was at its peak, and tensions were escalating between settlers and Californios

- the pre-statehood residents of California.

The U.S. Army established Fort Tejon with the mission of suppressing cattle raiding

and protecting California settlers from attacks by Californios and Native American tribes.

The Fort was used intermittently for 10 years from 1854 until 1864 and was the headquarters

of the First United States Regiment of Dragoons, the predecessor to the 1st Cavalry Regiment

of the United States Army.

Today, Fort Tejon is operated by the California State Parks Department and historic demonstrations

are generally conducted on the first Saturday of every month.

This last weekend I got to experience a demonstration of blacksmithing and woodworking as well as

open hearth cooking in the restored commanding officer's quarters.

I also got to witness an artillery drill which involved the firing of a howitzer canon used

to defend the fort and ward off attacks.

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend that you stop and check out Fort Tejon.

With a lot of cool hiking trails nearby like the Wind Wolves Preserve on the outskirts

of Bakersfield, you can make it a full day of adventure.

Thanks so much for tuning in and as always, remember to Never Stop Exploring.

Vera's Journey Episode 4: The Rehabilitation | MED-EL - Duration: 9:39.

It was when we got home and we were in the house

that I started to notice

that, well, I was hearing masses of things that I'd never heard before.

When you start hearing those things again

it's really quite emotional after all that time.

I started hearing sounds in the house that I'd never heard before.

And you start ... It's quite ...You think ... This! Look at that!

You switch the light on and it goes "Click!".

[Kitchen Sounds]

I was shocked because the teaspoon was making a noise.

It was going, you know, "Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle, tinkle".

I stopped and I looked at it and I thought:

"Goodness, that's what stirring a cup of tea sounds like." But I'd forgotten.

Obviously, I used to be able to hear that but in recent years if I heard anything at all

it was "Thud, thud, thud."

but now it was "Tinkle, tinkle, tinkle!"

Stupidly it was really quite emotional.

It was like: "Oh, I remember this!"

I remember this sound but I'd utterly forgotten

that that's what, you know,

having a teaspoon in a cup of tea sounded like.

[Tickling of teaspoon]

Speech took time and work.

But environmental sounds they just happened straightaway.

It was a bit of a shock and it was a shock how much I liked it

because I thought I didn't care about that.

But when I started hearing them again,

I did care. I did care.

After a couple of days Nigel and I went out for a walk with Izzy

and that was fascinating because it was like a primary school nature walk

with me saying "What's that?" And Nigel saying "Oh, that's a bird."

"What's that?" - "That's an aeroplane."

"What's that?"

And it was our dog's paws squeaking on the frosty path.

And there was a whole variety of sounds

which I was hearing which I had not heard for such a long time.

It was very encouraging that I was hearing all of this kind of almost immediately.

A couple of days later, I was out on my own

and a couple of sparrows flew right across in front of me

and they were squabbling, you know, fighting with each other in the air

and making a racket. I could definitely hear the sparrows.

And it was... Yeah, it was...

I keep on saying these things are quite emotional, but they are

because you think goodness, you know, I've not heard that sound for so long.

With birds I've not heard the chirping sparrow song of a bird since my 30s.

And to, you know, just a few days after an implant be hearing a sound

and know it's a singing bird or a chirping bird is...

I mean just how extraordinary is that? It's just unbelievable.

We were doing the exercises that we'd had from the hospital.

It's a good life.

It's a good something. - It's a good life.

Life. - Yeah.

Is that your wife?

Is that your wife?

But to begin with I was tired a lot, you know.

My brain was working really hard to make sense of all this new stuff that was happening.

So I was having to take things quite easily as well.

I couldn't embark on, you know, hours and hours worth of the exercises

because sometimes after 15 minutes I'd be so tired

I'd say to Nigel: "Stop, stop!" I can't do anymore.

Is it the knife?

Not sure. Is it the...

Is it the knife?

Is it the knife? - Yeah.

To begin with I could hear what I was used to hearing

but quieter because I didn't have my hearing aid in.

And then I could hear this squeaking all the time

whenever he said anything.

It was... it was a bit disconcerting really

because I thought: Well, how are these two things...

You know, what's going to happen next?

How are these two things going to come together?

I started to be aware that if I concentrated on the squeaking

it wasn't actually just squeaking, it was speech.

But you didn't immediately realize that

because it was much easier for my brain to latch on to the quieter sounds

the more low sounds that it was used to hearing.

So after a while I start concentrating on this and thinking:

"Goodness, yes, that is Nigel talking."

It's just a different kind of octave of Nigel talking.

So I think the next day I started really trying to concentrate on that

and it was if...

...but it was if my brain was telling me not to

it was if my brain was still desperately hanging on to the quiet sounds

of what it had got used to Nigel sounding like

and it didn't want to pay attention

to this ludicrous squealing that's coming in the right side of my head.

And I remember having a sort of an argument with my brain,

strange though that is to explain, because I began concentrating,

I'm saying to it, you know, "This is Nigel speaking."

and my brain is desperately, desperately trying to ignore these squeaks and squeals,

and it's as if my brain is saying:

"No, no forget that, forget that. I don't know what it is!

Nigel is this low-pitch person."

And eventually, I just kept on,

kept on doing that.

And eventually, it's a funny thing to say,

but it was almost as if I could sense my brain beginning to realize

that this was also speech, that it was thinking:

"Oh my goodness. Yes. This is Nigel. It's a different Nigel, but this is Nigel."

And it sounds stupid to say all this but it's how it felt.

It's really how it felt.

And there was a huge amount of concentration on my part

to try to latch on to that and realize there was something happening here.

And also I could hear consonants

which, yeah, I could hear some consonants before, but mainly consonants had gone.

So it was really exciting to listen to this

and to think, you know: "That is a consonant. I am hearing a consonant."

So we persevered with that.

And it was like that for two days.

And then I was thinking, right what's gonna happen next?

You know, how does this resolve itself?

And then the strangest things happen.

On the night of the second day I went to bed

and on the night of the third day, on the morning of the third day, sorry,

I got up and my brain had merged the two things together.

It was the most bizarre thing.

It was if it said: "Right I give up, I give up.

This is Nigel. It's all Nigel. We're gonna listen to it all in one."

and I don't understand how the brain works,

but that was such a peculiar thing.

It was like he'd had a night to think about it and then came up with a new strategy.

To begin with

it sounded like a very strange accent

as if it wasn't the person I'm used to hearing.

It was Nigel with a different accent somehow.

Which is plausible because I was hearing sounds

that I had not heard for a long time.

It was a bit odd.

I kept teasing him that

it was as if he had a Southern English accent, which he doesn't.

And then over time that went away.

And now he sounds perfectly normal, whatever normal is.

But, yeah, those only a few days were really interesting.

And I thought, it still,

it still intrigues me what the brain was doing at that point

because you could almost feel it happening.

When the two things merged together it was really exciting

because it was like, "Okay,

I didn't know what was going to happen

and now something has happened and it will continue being like this."

And it was very gratifying

that you could feel progress happening.

And at that point, you know, things weren't... things weren't easy.

But the fact that the process was actually starting

was really encouraging.

SPA 147 Spanish Black Legend Final Project - Duration: 9:11.

Hi, my name is Ge.

Today, I want to discuss the Black Legend in the United States.

The picture on the left-hand side was created in 1598 as a propaganda piece.

It depicts a Spaniard feeding Indian children to his dogs.

This picture is a product of the Black Legend.

The term "the Black Legend" is used to describe discriminatory histories of Spanish-speaking

people.

Usually, when we talk about the Black Legend, we are talking about histories of Spain, Latin

America, and the US in which Spanish-speaking people and their descendants are described

as uniquely lazy, fanatical, bigoted, evil, cruel, anti-scientific, primitive, diseased,

incapable of governing themselves, and stupid.

These discriminatory histories played a crucial role in early mythologies of the United States.

They continue to affect the ways in which Hispanics in the US are viewed and treated

today.

In this presentation, I will discuss the history and relevance of the Black Legend in the United

States.

First, I will talk about some historical background.

The Black Legend was rooted in the hatred between England and Spain.

There are three main reasons for the hatred and biases.

The first one is religion.

During the 16th century, Spain was the most powerful Catholic nation in the world

and the self-proclaimed champion of the Roman Church.

Hatred toward Catholicism started in England in early 1500s as dissatisfaction with the

Roman Church grew.

People were not happy about the Church's corruption and complacency.

So Spain became a natural target of this acrimony.

The second reason is nationalism.

England wanted to be an international power, and the efforts placed England directly

across the gun barrel from Spain.

The third reason is racism.

English people preferred people with light skin color tone.

The Spaniards were viewed as dark and impure.

So propaganda began to appear about the cruelty and brutality of Spanish army in America.

These materials were viewed and liked by English people at the time.

It became a self-reinforcing vicious cycle.

This attitude was carried over by English settlers to the New World.

English settlers in America continued to be influenced by anti-Catholic and Hispanophobia

literature, both from England and produced by settlers themselves.

Colonial school children were exposed to many anti-Catholic and anti-Spanish propaganda.

One example was the New England Primer, which sold three million copies.

In it, there were a lot of negative content about Spain and the Spanish people.

The resentment was not confined to paper.

There were many military encounters between the British American settlers and their allies

(such as the Dutch) and the Spanish.

Acrimony was extended to former Spanish colonies and Spanish-speaking countries, such as Mexico

and countries in Latin America.

Even thought they had some qualities worth admiration of the English (such as architecture

and craftsmanship), ultimately, they "were regarded as a depraved race whose defects

were only slightly mitigated by the grandeur and opulence of their cultures."

(This is a quote from Raymund A. Paredes' book chapter.)

Spain colonies were linked to the same biases and discrimination against Spain.

This prejudice existed even before Americans encountered Mexicans.

Their eventual encounters in Mexican territories in the early 19th Century only made things

worse.

Around 1840s, racialist thought emerged to focus attention on the "inherent" characteristics

of the Mexican rather than those acquired during their long colonization by the Catholic

Spaniards.

We still see a lot of biases.

They exist in the textbooks.

Textbook is a great tool of propaganda and can influence children from a very young

age.

As mentioned before, early English settlers filled their children's textbooks with anti-Spain

content.

This "tradition" continued.

American textbooks were filled with anti-Hispanic or negative/biased content.

In Jesus Garcia and Linda K. Salvucci's articles, they detailed specifically the biases

against Hispanics in textbooks.

For example, Garcia's evaluation of textbooks found that "most portrayals of

the two major groups – Mexican Americans and Puerto Ricans – are problem-oriented,

shallow, and distorted."

Some writers suggest these groups

are society's "marginal members".

Fish growth aquaponics - Duration: 11:21.

Hello aquaponics growers.

Today, I'm going to show you my aquaponics fish, so we're going to see some silver perch

and catfish.

My name is Jonathan from Melbourne Aquaponics, and my aim is to help you to grow sustainable

and tasty food in your own backyard, thanks to aquaponics.

So I received several requests to show you my fish so today, I'm going to catch a few

and we're going to have a look at the size of the fish and the different species that

we are growing.

Before we start the video, please subscribe to the channel and give it a like.

So let's catch a few of them.

So I got here a bucket with some water, and I'm going to start to catch a few.

So here we got silver perch that are Australian native fish.

So you can see there are different sizes, and they are probably, the biggest ones are

probably four years old already.

So you see that's fish that take a while to grow.

They are almost plate size for the biggest ones.

The smaller ones are going to take a bit longer.

So I already made some video about silver perch.

It's a fish that is very social and can grow to a very nice size if you leave it to time.

And what is interesting is that you can, as it's social, you can have different sizes.

So you can leave the fish all together.

Obviously, the more variation you have in the size of the fish and the less growth you're

going to have, right?

If you want to maximize the growth, it's better to have all fish the same size, but if you

don't really mind about the productivity of the system, then you can have different sizes.

So you can always harvest a few fish and you put a few new ones every year, and therefore,

you're always can harvest fish in your setup.

The catfish that is here is an interesting fish.

It's called Tandanus tandanus.It's eel-tailed catfish.

It's also an Australian native fish, and you can really see the tail.

You see how its swimming?

It really looks like an eel.

It's also a very friendly fish to have.

You see, I got it with the silver perch, and it's not a problem at all.

They go really well together and this fish can also reach a very decent size.

So you can see around the head, it's called a catfish because it's got those kind of

moustache.

It's little kind of antennas that are on both sides of the mouth, and it allows them

to detect any food that is present in the tank.

Now, what I'm going to do I'm going to fish a few of them, and I'm just going to try to

show you the actual size of the fish.

And then I'm going to weigh a few to be able to know exactly the type of biomass I have

in my tank.

So if you want to know why we do that have a look at the biomass video, How to Calculate

Your Fish Biomass.

It's very important actually to understand the capacity of your system if you still can

have a bit more fish or if you have to harvest or to sell or to give a few of them.

And you see the fins are in perfect conditions.

So it's a very big difference with a fish that is raised there in aquaculture in big

density.

Here you see the fins are really nice.

So you see that this fish is in excellent condition.

So now I'm going to weigh it to see the size exactly of this fish.

Okay, so now the fish is in the bucket of water, and we can see the weight.

It's 328 grams, 328 grams for this fish.

So yeah, that's plate size.

You see that it takes the whole size of the bucket.

It's a really, really nice fish and you can see the fins in really good shape as well.

So it's very important.

So again, the fins are really, really good in really good condition.

So if you don't know how to handle the fish, I also made a video and explained a few things

that are very important when you handle a fish because you know you already got some

risk to drop a fish so in a special video, I really explained what are the important

things when you want to handle the fish in good conditions, in the whole safety.

So you know when you handle the silver perch, you also have to be a bit careful because

it's a perch you know, we call it a perch and why?

It's because on the fins here they got some very, very strong spines so just be careful

when you handle it because if you put your hands through here it's going to be very painful.

It's same for the anal this one here.

The fin here you got a very, very strong bone so be careful when you handle this type of

fish.

Now, I'm going to put it back.

I'm going to release it into the tank, and we're going to have a look at the catfish.

So same thing here.

You see, I put the bucket and I'm going to tare the scale so now I know it's zero.

So if I add the catfish I'm going to know the exact weight of the catfish.

So right now, I'm just going to try to catch the catfish.

Okay here we are.

So you see the catfish is only 90 grams.

There's still a bit bit, right, a bit small.

We are not going to eat it right now, but you see it's really nice fish again.

You can really see the morphology of the fish, the shape of the fish with the eyes on the

top of the head and obviously, the moustache or the antennas on the side.

Also it's a fish that is -- hasn't got any scale, right?

So the skin is exposed not like the silver perch.

Silver perch, they got scales all along the body.

For the catfish here it doesn't have any scale.

It's just the skin.

So be very careful when you touch this type of fish because as I showed you on the silver

perch, they have some fins, some bones outside.

So they can – they have some spines and they can really perforate you, your skin,

make a hole in your skin.

The catfish is the same thing.

It's even way worse because to protect itself from all those predators, it's got three

very, very strong spines around the head.

So one on the pectoral fin, on this fin here and one on the side fins.

And when he moves like this when I -- what it just did right before he's trying to

go through my skin through these spins.

So I can really feel them.

Those colors are just wonderful.

Okay, that's it.

I'm going to release this guy because he's pretty stressed now.

And I'm going to release him in the tank.

So guys, I hope you enjoyed the video.

It was just a few fish that we have here at the moment.

You are also able to grow all the fish such as trout, yabbies, crustaceans, a lot of different

things can be grown in aquaponics.

And it really depends on the area where you live and the weather condition you have, basically

the temperatures that you're going to be able to offer to you fish.

So look around in the fish farms around or even in the river and you would be able definitely

to find some fish to grow in aquaponics.

You always got the option as well to grow some ornamental fish, such as a goldfish you

know, or even then depending on where you live you can maybe grow koi carps or other

type of fish so you don't have to eat the fish.

You can also grow some fish that you want to just grow for fun and just to display because

you like to see them and you enjoy the colors.

So if you enjoyed the video, please subscribe to the channel and give it a like, and I got

in the description of the video, just below, a free training for you.

It's a six-step guide to help you to build you own aquaponics setup but also to manage

it in the best condition.

So if you haven't started aquaponics yet, this training is definitely for you.

It's completely free.

So get it and if you have studied but if you sometimes have some challenges to manage your

setup or to deal with the water parameters or other things of this type, just get the

training as well because I'll give you some free information to really balance the system

in the best way.

So again, I hope you enjoyed the video and see you in the next one.

Bye-bye.

Don't forget to get your free gift from this screen.

You can also leave me a comment below the video.

Subscribe to the channel and see my last video.

I really hope to see you soon, and I wish you a fantastic success with aquaponics.

Have a good crop!

La dissoluzione dell'Ego (cos'è la coscienza?) - Duration: 8:09.

For millennia we have been looking for ourselves.

There are those who do it in a spiritual key,

who on a scientific level,

who explore it powered by pure curiosity.

Whole populations have embraced various religions

to answer the existential question ...

who am I?

Science would ask the question in a similar way:

what is consciousness?

With a question like that I should be doing a web-series

of twelve episodes to just scratch the meaning.

so I thought it'd be just easier to answer ...

I have no idea.

But what the human being has discovered by looking for its meaning

is just incredible.

Let's start with this concept:

you have lived a period of your life

where you did not know you existed.

Ok,

for some of us this happened

last weekend,

but the first time for all happened ...

Well…

the first time we came to the world.

(And the only one) For about a year we wander on the Earth

without distinguishing ourselves from what surrounds us.

Like hippies we wander with the idea

of being whole with the universe.

Then at about twelve months ...

even a simple mirror ...

that guy moves like me ...

it's me…

Me!

And here is the awareness of our physical self.

Why "physical me"?

Because our mind is still considered

one with the universe.

We are hungry!

We want to sleep!

We do NOT want to sleep!

And we get pissed off!

Because despite the fact that

we feel the whole world is hungry,

nobody seems to be doing anything to solve

the problem.

And this happens at around the age of two.

In fact, in English we call them "the terrible Twos".

From about three years old and on (more or less)

we start to realize that something is wrong.

While we cry desperately as we want chocolate

we look at an adult and ... we stop.

And we observe it with a sense of total disbelief.

Why don't you cry,

we want chocolate,

what's wrong with you?

And here we see that not only the physical self

is separate,

but also the emotional one.

We do not think all alike.

The sense of identity develops from here until 6 years old .

Who I am.

Our Ego.

That which makes us all very nice people..

That which builds the story of our life,

that increasingly stores a mental construct

of what we are,

based on past events.

And that makes us worried about maintaining our identity,

which is made of thoughts.

As we base ourself only on that to identify

our place in the world,

We certainly don't want anything to happen

that could jeopardize our relationship with the world.

Thus we confuse ourselves with our emotions.

And we leave for journeys made of ties and criticism of the

past and projections on where we would like to be in the future.

And the present?

Who lives it?

That extremely natural world,

made up of bodily perceptions,

sound,

smells.

touch.

Where is it?

As if this were not enough, we live in a society

based on problem solving

on productivity,

efficiency,

on profit,

improvement,

politics.

Everyone is busy doing something.

And nobody lives.

This social model is so extreme that

we starte to have the sensation

that something is really not making any sense.

It proved to be hollow.

We started to ask ourself questions,

we started to have the suspicion of not being

the self we think we are.

In this chaos, where everyone does everything,

we have lost the compass.

The more we define the importance of the Self, the less

we feel satisfied.

Thousands of research demonstrate this concept.

More and more people are lost in the maze of depression.

300 million people,

to date.

We started to ask ourselves what happiness is.

So what is happiness?

There are many definitions out there and philosophers

found many different answers.

But there is a notion that stands more than others,

because it's supported by various disciplines

and is confirmed by our personal experiences

Happiness is that mental state in which you don't want to be

in any other mental state.

Happiness is that mental state in which you don't want to be

in any other mental state.

When you're in a happy moment, you're not distracted.

You have no desire to do something else.

You are completely engaged and involved

in a direct experience.

kids: please cover your ears for a moment

guys,

when you have sex (not always),

when you do an exciting sport,

when you do meditation,

when you do yoga,

when you are in a powerful creative state,

you do not want to be anywhere else.

You don't even bother!

Because you're in that state that

is defined as "Flow",

to be "In the Zone".

The sense of self disappears,

you forget about yourself,

you stop comparing yourself to others,

you don't wander with your mind.

Because you don't want to lose that moment,

you don't even have the feeling of producing that moment,

it feels like it's happening on its own,

it's submerging you,

as if everything was already written,

whether you like it or not.

It is interesting to note how the more we have the sense of self and the more

we feel dissatisfied,

while the more we are happy,

the more our identity melts with the moment.

So let's try to understand what happens on a chemical level.

Because there must be a scientific explanation,

Right?

As I said in this previous episode,

when we are not engaged in an activity

our brain wanders in what we call

Mind Wandering.

And while we travel in the depths of our thoughts,

we think about what is right or wrong.

as we get frustrated half the time.

It is at this time that the Default Mode Network,

(that network that connects different parts of ours

brain), is very active.

Our brain loves spending less resources as possible

to understand what is happening

at any specific time.

It is called cognitive economy.

So it makes sense that

it only makes the right areas communicate with each other.

Regions of sight will speak with other regions

that deal with sight.

And like Amazon's HeadQuarters,

everything flows automatically.

But…

when we live a moment of ecstasy

something different happens.

Science has been able to notice with experimentations

done on advanced meditation and

psychedelics drugs, that in such a moment of alteration

the Default Mode Network ...

turns itself off.

How's that possible?!

It was thought that with all that perceptive excitement

there were just fireworks in the head.

And instead?

Off.

And in its place a promiscuous party,

a rave,

a myriad of connections between opposing brain regions.

It is as if they had removed the customs between all nations

and made all flights completely free,

A complete chaos!

And what do you get out with?

With the breaking of your boundaries.

You do not know where the ego ends and where the rest begins.

And in some cases you come out with phrases like "the taste

of number 5","the sound of green".

A condition called synaesthesia.

What is actually happening has to do with one of the

most poetic and full of meaning words

that can be invented:

Ego Dissolution.

Also called:

"The Ego Death".

Like the octopus

whose nervous system is propagated throughout his body

and its tentacles have a life of their own,

you are experiencing the decentralization of the ego.

You lose track of who you are,

but you feel you belong to the context.

And while your identity is lost in a sweet death,

everything you thought you were not, become part of you.

And you live the world as if you belonged to something bigger.

This topic is too deep

to get to a conclusion.

And I don't feel like having to force any

deduction in this regard.

Because it is precisely here that everyone decides

what meaning life has.

I just like to think that the journey is

common for each of us,

that we are all potentially able to live

that state of ecstasy.

And that everyone of us has found him/herself in that moment

where we no longer understand anything.

Call it love,

energy,

God,

chemistry,

just don't kill yourselves in the process.

I only suggest not to lose Curiosity,

and go experiment,

because we are small.

And the universe is immense.

And it is worth trying to evolve from the perception

of the self to the perception of the whole.

To grasp the immediacy of things.

And when you're worried about tomorrow,

think about how tiny your ego is

when compared to the universe.

And melt it,

while you re-discover everything around you with your senses.

It is called Mindfulness.

It is science.

And it works.

【동방MMD】 ONE OFF MIND english ver. 【시키에이키 야마자나두】 1440p 60fps - Duration: 3:36.

True to the twine, a fine fuzzy mind &

Stylish ties for hueman deigns

Must be standard bunk, yeah just a buncha PARAPPA

And answers cranked distrait for the Kranke

Those who hold me hidden in a prison now

Hold the golden apple, goading with a grin

Hand out of reach, that hanging

Only happy has got me caught gaping in

...Ahh, nooo!

Can'tcha tease me something that I don't know?

Setting ready a rope

Ready, set, hope you go!

Dropping dead would be heaven for us both.

Staring with irony

Upon the future I'm not sure is stable in my sight,

I'd prefer to sing a song of seizure

Featured in an idol's free live!

Like a high-grade Heart Beat,

Like a low-grade Blank Beat,

One-sided game solution?

Someone's suffocatin' from the fate it held

By some chance, that starring heart

Buys some start to party hard

'Cause no mosaic goes wasted in humming help'

Ease from templates tinging a sound &

Dreams of sleep on your fourth cavort around

All get emptied in my head, a lotta PARAPPA

And top of heap cheap sugar for the Kranke

Those who hold me hidden in a prison now

Hold the golden apple, goading with a grin

Hand out of reach, that hanging only happy–

Is that it, really?

Sought

cheep chip chune

Ah,

Ah, filling 'till we choose

Pappapparapa, pause these thoughts with

Arginine

Noizy, bringing out the buzz

Smiling, smiling, hit-and-run,

While cutting up a gaze, against the seams,

Once again, there's only you to see.

Find the peaking Heart Beat

Find the pace of a Blank Beat

Wasting time solution?

Someone's gonna puke if it fits the price

Die one day, my tenderness

Dye one day, and fade the next

These strands of loss can't run lost to a needled night

Bound to be boring, the outlaw takes

Thousands of cameras out of frame

Rides away, right away wide awake

Today, too-day

Bound to be boring, the outlaw takes

Thousands of cameras out of frame

Rides away, right away wide awake

Like a high-grade Heart Beat,

Like a low-grade Blank Beat,

One-sided game solution?

Someone succumbs to a dizzy spell

"Why was that a sign I'm right?"

"Why" was always obvious, right?

This fix don't buddy nobody but myself

Time's up, pulling End Roll

Time's up, perfect curtain call

This is my solution!

Evidence I'm stepping to the finish line

Finally, you got to me

Finally, we got to meet

Clearly, these means scream this meaning is merely mine!
