PIZZA IN TEGLIA ALTA E SOFFICE DI BENEDETTA - Ricetta Facile Senza Impasto - Duration: 5:05.

High and soft pizza in baking tin

featuring: PANEANGELI

take 500g of flour (half manitoba and half 00 type)

add 7g of beer yeast "Mastro Fornaio" by Paneangeli

2 teaspoons of sugar

mix well

pour warm water in a bowl (400ml)

add olive oil (50ml)

start mixing and add flour a little at time

after adding half the flour add a teaspoon of salt

and add the remaining flour

cover it

let rise in a warm place until doubling the mass (it will take about 2 hours)

oil the baking pan with a lot of olive oil (this is 35cm x 35cm)

grease the hands to enlarge the dough better

add tomato sauce (250g/300g) as you like with salt oil, spices and heat a little

pour it when pizza is still warm, the heat helps leavening

let rise again about 10 minutes and bake

baking: venilaed oven: 200° about 25 min; static oven, 210° about 25 min

bring out the pizza, add diced mozzarella and bake another 5 minutes

USEFUL SYNONYMS TO SAY THINGS ARE INTERESTING - Duration: 7:55.

- Do you find yourself constantly describing things as,

'interesting?'

Wouldn't it be better if you found some more precise words

to describe the things you're into?

Stick around to learn some new vocabulary words

that are synonyms with interesting.

So, today we are talking about all things interesting.

I've actually noticed that many English language learners

and students in general,

when they want to tell me about something wonderful,

something interesting that they've seen or watched

or know about, they always use this word.

Interesting.

How was the movie?

Interesting.

How was the book you read?

Interesting!

How was the show?

So interesting.

It's a good word to use but it only describes so much.

It's not very precise and today I want to teach you

how you can really talk about something

using more precise vocabulary.

So the words I'm talking about today,

they're all synonyms for interesting.

But they have slightly different meanings.

So, let's get to it!

Our first word is 'fascinating.'

And this is already better than interesting

because it means extremely interesting.

So, when somebody tells you about something that's

fascinating, you're not just interested.

You're completely into it.

You're so interested that you find it like, "Wow!"

- Fascinating!

- That's what's so fascinating!

- Dad loves muggles, thinks they're fascinating.

- It's not just like, "Yeah, yeah it was interesting,

blah, blah blah."

You're like, "Wow! This has got my attention completely.

It is fascinating."

The next word is, 'intriguing' and this one I really like.

Because I'm a very curious person by nature

and the definition is that, something intriguing is,

you know it arouses your curiosity

and it peaks your interest.

Really it has a little bit of a mystery to it

If something's intriguing, it just gets your attention

and you really want to find out more about it.

That's intriguing.

The next word is, 'thought-provoking.'

And just like I mentioned before,

if you're looking for a word to describe something

that makes you think, if you're maybe describing a

book or a movie that's really caused you to think

and maybe even caused you to think about something that

you've never thought before, this is a good word to use.

Thought-provoking.

- Okay, what we're going for is serious,

insightful, thought-provoking radio journalism.

- Admit, it's thought-provoking.

- It's so much better than interesting, honestly.

Because it says so much more.

If it's thought-provoking it really makes you think.

Thought-provoking.

Such a good word.

Can you guys see how excited I get?

Almost sounded like I'm sexually attracted to these words.

I'm not! I'm not insane.

The next one is, 'captivating.'

Captivating, another good word.

And this kind of means two things.

Attracting is one of them and then,

holding interest is another.

So, when something is captivating, first it attracts you.

'Cause to captivate means to grab your attention.

You can look at things that are captivating.

You see somebody, somebody's eyes,

somebody's look may be captivating.

But it really just means that something

that kind of grabs on and holds your attention.

Captivating.

(cat meows)

Yes? (cat meows)

What? (cat meows)

Yes?

The next word is, 'enthralling.'

Thr-thr-thralling.

If you're having a hard time pronouncing this word,

don't worry it is a little bit difficult

because of the 'th' sound.

So, just keep practicing. Enthralling.

But what it means is that, if something's enthralling

it holds your attention completely.

You are so focused on this thing, it is enthralling.

So, the next word is another good one.

In fact, I think all of the words in this lesson

are really, really, really good.

It's wonderful because it has more meanings into one.

So, it is 'compelling.'

And if something is compelling it is,

it evokes your attention

but also admiration

and interest

kind of all into one.

- Silence, is more compelling.

- Great, story. Compelling. And rich.

- Sounds compelling.

- We use compelling for arguments,

like a compelling argument,

maybe will make you change your mind

if somebody has a compelling argument.

Something that is so powerful,

that it convinces you that something is true.

Or that something should be done.

- You made a compelling argument, yo!

- You call that compelling?!

- Compelling is kind of a call to action.

It makes you want to do something.

'Stimulating' is our next word.

And, it means that it's inspiring new ideas,

there's new enthusiasm,

just something that makes you feel more creative

and more refreshed.

That's stimulating, it's bringing all of these things

to your mind that are making you think about something

and it's making you really, really look at something

in a new and different way.

Stimulating.

The next word is, 'appealing.'

And appealing is really three words in one.

It is, pleasing, it is attractive, and it is interesting.

Of course.

So, you can also use it when you're

talking about somebody's appearance

because it has that physical factor to it.

And not just describing a book or a movie

or something like that.

Our next word is, 'riveting.'

Riveting. Such a good word!

To describe something as riveting it means that it is

extremely interesting and exciting in the same time.

It is engrossing.

It is riveting.

Our next word is 'gripping.'

And if you know what gripping means,

it is to hold onto something tightly.

And that's what happens to your attention

when you are describing something as gripping.

Something is gripping, you're really into it.

So, what do you guys think?

it's time to review technique in solo mode and do over the fortnight loot

chest let's do this hey guys we hope super salty very soon

it look like I go to the phone I finger to review this is technic and/or

technique I think that it's meant to be pronounced not technically they say and

this is the solo mode finger when the single packed figures hashtag wallop IRL

and I've also got one of the first loot crate boxes these contain guns building

materials and other things so guys we have the figure first of all and the

best thing about the loot crate by the way is that you already know what's in

them when you buy them so that's really cool actually tells you on the box which

one it is it was about four or five different ones to collect the r8 1990s

though the fingers our 1199 as well a little bit pricey for the nice there's a

bunch of others to collect and review as well I'm still thinking about getting

raptor carbine and probably drift those three are kind of the ones that I want

next but these are toys by Jazwares guys on there as a part of Epic Games

fortnight phenomenon and we'll call it because it is at this point a phenomenon

in it it's taken over world by storm it was only a maritime until they made the

figures so let's get out of the packaging okay so everything it does

come with an extra little build piece you can use these as stands for the

figures you have a little nub on them just on the figures on that's pretty

cool but we are compatible with all other building sets that you buy that's

another great part about this that I like that's why I've gone to collect

this series the m3 series because a lot of people are collecting the McFarland's

versions but they're very limited articulation wise in my opinion they're

very limiting

artha be a hood Jackie ah okay how does that still notice just sit interesting

so if she does come with this extra bit as well to make it look like a hoodies

up on the hoodie which is removable as well which is nice and if you want that

down that's fine she was raised her little mask here but I don't think he

can get it to actually come I think it's static around the middle early I would

it would have been nice if you could if it was lack of a soft rubber compound so

we could pull it up over her face so that she had the gas mask on if you

wanted it but you can't really just sits around her neck I'm liking the face call

though the figure looks beautiful love how she looks

the first thing did a very nice job bringing that skin to life to be honest

all right little green hat as well doesn't say anything on the hat the

articulation is gonna be the same as what it is on all the other fingers but

we will just run through again in case you haven't seen the previous reviews

that I've done so the arms do lift out at the sides do rotate at the top hinge

there they do also have elbow joints which can be rotate as well hands as

well are on rocker and ball joints so they're fully up here lay it oh my god

this one's very stiff so good thing it's a good thing for posing to be honest you

want them you don't want them to be you know flopping around you can rotate her

at the top part as well just diaphragm hinge there to crank forward and

backwards and round it has all sides a break at the waist as well let's do lift

out pretty far as well as forwards with a durable engineer on this one top

fibrate also a rotation at the foot as well with a rocket and pivot the figure

articulation on this legs of this one is a lot easier to move as you've seen on

some of my other videos some of the figures are pretty hard to rotate and

move very stiff joints but again that's what you want you don't want fingers

that are too loose because it makes them harder to articulate and again you can

just clip the little hood on if you so choose is a little bit flimsy in my

opinion that's just gonna come off with if you are out playing with them but if

you're just posing them like I would be

does just sit nicely on there you might want to like pose her up and put that on

last honest so just to show you guys these are the the building materials but

you can also use them as basis for the figures because they are hard to stand

but they do stand pretty well when she put the note inside also it would make

him really cool so you can hang them upside down and stuff as well when you

build some things that would be pretty cool to see antigravity style it's for

tonight anything can happen and as well she does come with her harvesting tool

which on this one is a and like a paint can like a paint sprayer like a paint

roller almost hands as well I'm pretty stiff but they do wrap around that

pretty easily it has got a nice paint decal on it as well the paints the paint

on the figure as well is pretty good there's no bleeding issues whatsoever on

this figure it is immaculate love it nice figure really think they've done

well with that one so let's just place her down here for now while we take a

look at the loot box so these little loot crate's

they're solid plastic boxes so you can use these in your figures and you play

you know these are also because it's so big it would scale well with a six-inch

figure as well as I can still use it as a chest if you've got any pirate figures

or you want to have a bit of fun I could imagine filling this full of

white little gold coins and then having Deadpool like laying in it that'd be

really fun it yeah gonna use this again especially if I go to the beach I'm

gonna take this with me along with some figures and Beria and supply before but

if we open it up guys you can see that there is a bunch of loot inside so they

have given us two more wood pieces to help build if you didn't see my building

video the other day and these just swap together like that very easily just

slide them into connecting spots and then together back out just twist so

they do work very easily would you get used to using them

everything you buy in this series does come with this little manual of sorts

which gives you a list of all the accessories and skin

that are currently available we have nearly all of these now so we've got

bright bomber we've got Jonesy we've got cuddle team

leader I've got Ragnarok I've got Raven of a Rex Ruslan and Technic so I'm

missing band Euler carbide drift and Omega those are the only ones I'm

missing and wrapped it it says it does actually say more heroes are dropping

soon so this is only wave one guys so I'm not sure if I'm gonna collect

anymore from wave one I might just wait for wave two at this point they're

getting gives you a list of all the guns all the harvesting tools and wall the

backpacks there's only one Collider available right now which comes with

Omega but more of them are coming soon and we do have a little buggy here which

has got some moss stuff in

so this bugs this comes with an awfully heavy shotgun minigun burst assault

rifle two building materials and a collector's guide so I've already showed

you the collector collector's guide in the building materials nice so this is

gonna be the burst assault rifle I'm guessing this is gonna be the heavy

shotgun and then of course you've got their minigun

what does that say on there it says that's a hasta LaVista or something

Oh hasta LaVista soup so seriously and then the Oh blink as well which is one

of the backpacks that looks like it belongs on like raptor or something

that's still pretty cool so nice set overall and we'll go to the desk mo give

you guys an up-close personal look everything we've gotten today and as

well as the new figure and give her an up-close look so let's go back to the

desk um George has entered the game whoo

okay guys here we are out of the packaging so let's go ahead and look up

Technic here Oh technique I'm not quite slowly not

quite sure how to pronounce that um I got that or about Flair from there back

there oh my god can we cover that up not really maybe a little bit more so Aries

technique for the first time out of the packaging with that spray can the

harvesting - looking pretty cool again I love how they've made the figure my only

gripe about this finger and it is just very me picking at this point I wish the

the mouthpiece could have fitted around her actual mouth rather just hang around

her neck and I wish there was a better way of clipping this to the actual

finger cuz it does just fall off after a little while when it starts wearing as

well it'll just fall off all the time so yeah that's my other grandfather

finger though but the rest of it is immaculately done I love the fact she's

got splotches of paint on her and all over like create different artwork

styles and things I like that it's like very street artists and she's got like

tattoos and things on her which is nice detailing and the paint work is

consistent throughout and then when I've gone ahead and made a really nice face

call for this figure so really recommend this figure I think technique is a great

figure again I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing her name right technique

technique me either way very good figure and just where the brother Bradley

brought this one to life so happy about that one well

go ahead over and look at the mini guns I've attached the minigun here to the

bright bright bomber she looks pretty good with it actually I really like how

it looks in the figures hands so yeah really nice gun and if we move down here

we have got him holding the shotgun up in the air like that and I've given him

dual weapons so he's holding the burst assault rifle as well and of course we

have the oblique down here as well yeah I think this belongs to like wrap like

route lair up there someone would look nice on him though as well and there's a

little hood piece of course then we've got the little loot crate's these are

really nice it's shame they cost 899 each but they are good the accessories

and the quality of the weapons and stuff are pretty good so I probably will pick

up a couple more especially if they keep releasing the figures I'm gonna need

more accessories as we go on so yeah really good figures what are your

Learn English Interjections and Weird Sounds | English Video with Subtitles - Duration: 9:21.

Hi Bob the Canadian here. Have you ever noticed when you're listening to an English conversation

that sometimes we make sounds that aren't quite words. Well in this video I'll look

at 15 sounds that English speakers make while they're having conversations, and I'll explain

what they mean. And I'm kind of curious if you make the same sounds in your language.

Hey welcome to this video! If this is your first time here and you're learning English

So when we speak to each other in our native languages we make sounds sometimes instead

of using words. So in this video let's look at 15 different sounds that you'll hear in

English conversations, and as I said before if any of them are familiar, if they are sounds

you also make in your language, please tell me in the comments below.

Number one: Uh huh. So this means the same thing as, "Yes". If I was to respond to a

question by saying, "Uh huh." It means that I agree or I'm saying, "Yes." Maybe someone

has asked me, "Hey Bob. Do you want a piece of pizza?" I could reply by saying, "Uh huh!",

meaning that I do want a piece of pizza.

Number two: Mmm. Hmm. Mmm hmm means yes as well. So maybe I said I wanted a piece of

pizza and someone asks, "Hey Bob! Do you want a drink with that?" I could respond by saying,

"Mmm hmm!", which would mean yes I do want a drink with my slice of pizza.

Number three: Uh Uh. So uh uh means no. Maybe someone has asked me if I want to go see a

movie, and I want to respond by saying I don't want to. I could say, "Uh uh", I don't feel

like seeing a movie tonight. Uh uh mean no.

Number four: Mmm Mmm. You'll notice I'm kind of moving my head from side to side when I

say, "Mmm mmm" because it also means no. Maybe someone asks me the question, "Do you want

to go to a restaurant tonight?" And I don't want to go. I could say, "Mmm mmm", and that

would just indicate to that person that I'm saying, "No!" Mmm mmm, I don't want to go.

Mmm mm.

Number five: Uh oh. So uh-o is something you say when you have a small accident. Maybe

you were walking with a cup of milk and you dropped it on the floor and spilled the milk.

You would say, "Uh oh!" and it's basically a surprise sound that you make when something

goes wrong. Uh oh! I dropped the milk on the floor. Uh oh!

Number six: A-ha. So a-ha is something that you say when you discover something, or when

you solve something. Maybe you've been working on a really hard math problem, and finally

you understand how to figure out the answer. You would say, "A-ha!", and this is just a

sound you make indicating that you're happy to have discovered how to solve something

or how to do something. A-ha!

Number seven: Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm, or just Mmmmm! This a sound you make when there's food that

you can smell or see that looks really yummy, and looks really tasty. So you would express

your appreciation of the smell of the food by saying, "Mmmmm! That smells good!", or,

"Mmmmm, Mmmmm, Mmmm. I can't wait to eat this."

Number eight: Shhhhhhh! You'll notice that I'm putting my finger to my mouth when I'm

making the, "Shhhhhhh!" sound. So this is not just a sound, Shhhhhhh!, but it's also

an action. So let's imagine you're somewhere and you have a child with you and they're

being loud. They're being noisy in a place where they should be quiet. You would indicated

to them that you want them to be quiet by going, "Shhhhhh!", and this hopefully makes

them start to be quiet, although if your young children are like mine, usually they get a

bit noisy just a few seconds afterwards.

Number nine: Arrrgh! Arrrgh! This is a hard sound to make on camera but I make it all

the time. It's a sound of frustration. So when you're frustrated, when something isn't

going the way you want, and you just feel Arrrrrgh! You just make the sound like that,

like maybe you've been trying to get a job for a long time and everyone keeps saying,

"No!" You could express your frustration by saying, "Arrrrgh! I just can't find a job.

It's so frustrating!"

Number ten: Ewwww! So this is a little different then the last one. This is an expression,

a sound you would make when you see something that disgusts you. So it's like, "Ugh! That's

gross. Ugh! That's disgusting!" Sometimes we also say, "Ew", like, "Ew! That's disgusting!"

But I normally say, "Ugh! Ugh! That's gross. That's disgusting!"

Number eleven: Hmmmm. So, "Hmmmm.", is a sound that you make when you're thinking. So maybe

someone has asked you a question and you're not quite sure of the answer. You might pause

a bit and say, "Hmmmm. Let me think about that. Hmmmm." I think you rub your chin when

you do that. Hmmmmm, let me think about that. So that's a sound that you make when you're

thinking.

Number twelve: Um. I say this all the time. You're not supposed to say, "Um." But

you'll notice in a lot of my videos when I pause I say, "Um." So I might be talking

and then, um, see I said it right there. I say, "Um" because I'm still thinking

about my next sentence. I'm still thinking about my next thought. So you say, "Um"

as a way to pause. Now please note, you're not supposed to say "Um". Especially if

you're talking in front of other people. You'll want to avoid saying, "Um" at

all costs. But I still say it so you need to know what it sounds like.

Number thirteen: Ah. So this is something that you say when you, when you understand

something or when the answer becomes clear to you. So maybe a friend has explained something

to you that you didn't understand before. You were confused. You would respond to them

by saying, "Ah!", and it, it kind of means like, "I get it!" or "I understand"

Ah! Number fourteen: Oooooooo! Aaaaaaah! So this

is sounds, these two sounds are sounds you'll hear when you're at fireworks. When the

fireworks shoot into the sky and they explode often times people will say, "Ooooooo! Aaaaaaah!"

And it's also a sound people will make, maybe you have a new piece of jewelry and

it's very beautiful, people might look at it and say, "Ooooooo! Aaaaaah! That's

really nice." So it's an expression of appreciating you're appreciating what you're

seeing. Oooooooo! and Aaaaaaaah!

Number fifteen: Pffffff. So Pfffff. Is something that we say when we don't really believe

something. Maybe someone has said, "Your uncle won the lottery!" and you're like,

pfffff, I don't believe it. Pfffff, I don't know what you're talking about. So it's

an expression of doubt. Pfffff, I don't really believe that. Pffff I don't know

what you're talking about. And it's made, it's like a p sound, pfffff, and usually

it's before a sentence of doubt like, "Pfffff, I don't believe that."

Well those were fifteen sounds that we make as English speakers. I'm curious to know

How to Set Up a Wireless HP Printer from an iPad or iPhone | HP Printers | HP - Duration: 4:37.

From an iPad or iPhone, set up an HP printer and connect it to your wireless home or business network.

To successfully set up and install your printer, gather the following materials and information:

An iPad or iPhone that is connected to the wireless network

in which you want to connect your printer,

An HP printer that is turned on, An active Internet connection,

And the wireless network password or key, if required by your network.

On your iPad or iPhone, open a web browser and go to 123.hp.com.

The official HP site will not charge for any services.

Tap Get the App and follow the prompts to install HP Smart.

With HP Smart installed, tap the icon to open it.

The first time you open HP Smart, a Welcome screen displays.

Review the agreements and settings, select the check box to agree to the terms, and then tap Start.

Tap Allow to enable notifications from HP Smart.

To detect a new printer in HP Smart, the printer must be in Setup mode.

Setup mode activates automatically when turning on your printer

for the first time but is only activated for two hours.

If It has been longer than two hours since turning on your printer,

or you are unsure if your printer is in Setup mode,

reset the printer network settings.

For printers with buttons only, press the Cancel button to wake the printer from Sleep mode.

Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons at the same time for five seconds.

Release the buttons to reset the network settings.

For printers with an LCD or text display, navigate to the Wireless or Network Settings menu,

and then select Restore Network Settings or Restore Network Defaults.

For Tango and Tango X printers, press and

hold the Wi-Fi button for five seconds until the edge lighting rotates blue.

Some older printers might not support Setup Mode.

For touchscreen printers or printers with navigatable menus, use the Wireless Setup

Wizard to connect your printer to the network.

For printers with buttons only, connect using the WPS button on your router.

With the printer on the network or in Setup mode, return to HP Smart.

Tap the plus sign to add your printer to HP Smart.

Tap Set Up a New Printer.

Go to your iPad or iPhone home screen and open Settings.

Tap Wi-Fi and from the list of available networks,

select the HP-Setup network followed by the model of your printer.

Tap the notification to return to HP Smart.

Verify the network shown is the one in which you want to connect the printer.

If it is not the correct network, tap Change Network and choose the correct network.

Enter the wireless network password or key, and then tap Done or Continue.

HP Smart finds the printer, prepares it for the connection, gathers some additional information,

and then finishes the connections.

Reconnect your iOS device to the original Wi-Fi network.

Some devices reconnect automatically.

Return to HP Smart and with the printer connected to the wireless network, tap Continue.

If prompted, follow the instructions and videos to install cartridges and load paper into your printer.

Don't forget to adjust the paper guides to prevent jams and skewing.

With paper loaded, follow the remaining prompts to set up any available services or software.

If prompted, tap OK to allow HP Smart access to Photos.

Your printer setup is complete.

You can print documents, photos, or other items directly from HP Smart,

"My House is Such A Mess" And Other Excuses House Cleaners Hear - Duration: 7:27.

What do you say to a customer when you show up to their house to give them a job estimate

and they say things like, "Oh, you'll have to excuse the mess, we're under construction,"

or, "We're renovating our kitchen right now."

What do you say to them?

All right, that's a good question and we're going to talk about that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I'm going to do my best to help you find an answer.

All right, on to today's question, which is from house cleaners who go to customer's houses

and it doesn't matter what's going on in the customer's house, but you open the door and

they say, "Hi, come to my house and give me a job estimate.

Sorry, it's so messy.

This, that, or the other happened," and they make up a series of excuses.

And house cleaners go, "No, no, no, no, no.

They never had any intention of cleaning their house.

Their house is just a mess."

Why do they come up with this little line of, "Oh, I'm so sorry my house is a mess."

Why are they embarrassed.

All right, well that's a great question.

And most of it is this.

In our heads, we have created, this is something we ourselves have done, we have created an

illusion of how other people see us.

Now here's a house cleaner, and we know that the house cleaner specialized in clean houses.

So my house is kind of messy, not somebody's going to come over and they're going to give

me a quote on my house, and I know when they show up my house does not meet their standards.

I know that.

Instead of just saying, "Hey, here's the house," and being proud of it, "What is it going to

cost for you to bring it up to a standard of excellence?"

Then they start apologizing and, "Oh well, we've been sick in our house," or, "We're renovating,"

and they come up with all these fanciful excuses of why their house is a mess.

They don't want to be embarrassed and feel less than the quality that you are expecting

as a house cleaner.

As a house cleaner, on the other side of that, it's your job to put them at ease.

When I go to a customer's house and they're like, "Oh, I'm so sorry my house is a mess."

I look at them and I'm like hey, we have two different priorities, right?

My priority is to clean your house.

Your priority is to take your kids to school or to teach school, or whatever it is.

Our priorities are just different.

This is not a judgment call.

You called me because you need something, and I'm here.

Right?

And they're like, "Oh yeah, right.

Right.

I'm ... exactly."

It's very disarming, but hey, I'm not here to judge you.

I'm here to give you a walkthrough and a price.

At the end of whatever happens next, it's not that I give you a high five and you feel

better about your house, it's that you're going to give me some money and I'm going

to come clean.

Then you'll feel better about your house.

Right?

It's a business transaction.

So when people apologize, just make it okay.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. We all have different priorities."

And it's not a big deal.

There are houses that you will walk in and it is a big deal.

And in the back of your head you're like,

"Ahhh! I've got to clean this? Wow, this is a mess!"

My suggestion to you is to keep that on the inside of your head.

Don't verbalize that.

I remember one time I was at a lady's house ... Man, I'm embarrassed about this story

and I probably should not repeat it.

But I was inside a lady's house and the bathtub had backed up.

Like a teenager had long hair and the hair flew down the drain and it clogged up the

drain and then the shower or the bath water that they ran backed up and it would leave

a ring around the tub.

And this happened multiple times.

So the water wasn't draining and there was all this muckity muck at the bottom of the bathtub.

And I walked in and I was trying to clean out the tub and it was just nasty.

And the woman had gone to the store for some stuff and I thought I was alone in the house.

And as I was cleaning it out, I was like

"ERRGH! This is nasty!"

And she had come home and she walked in right then.

And she came in, she's like, "What, what, what?"

And I was so embarrassed because I had vocalized that about her house.

And now she heard me and she knew that it did not meet my standards.

She's like, "Well, what's the problem?

Is this the first time you've ever seen this?"

And I was like, well no, I see stuff like this all the time.

This is just really bad.

And so I was really embarrassed and I wished I could take back my words because it was

really a stupid thing for me to do.

And there I was, caught, right?

Caught saying bad things about this customer's house.

This woman is my paycheck.

She gives me my money to pay my bills.

And now I have just shamed her in her own house.

And I felt really bad about it.

And so I said, you know what?

That was really not fair for me to say.

Yes, I'm a house cleaner, and I do this all day, every day.

And I've seen worse tubs than this.

This particular one just caught me off guard and I responded the wrong way.

I'm sorry.

And she said, "No, it really is nasty.

How do we fix it?"

And I said well, first we have to unclog the drain.

And I have a Zip-it, which is one of those little ties with the little legs on it.

I'll put links in the show notes so you can see what it's like.

But I stuck it down in the drain and we pulled out all kinds of hair and gunk and stuff that

was in her tub.

And then after I left, she poured some Drano and other stuff down there to try to clear

out the rest of the tub.

But it wasn't until we were able to clear a lot of that gunk out that we could run the

cleanser and water and scrub stuff and get all the junk that was in the tub out.

It was really a nasty situation.

But in retrospect now, it's one of the things

I'm most embarrassed about in my house cleaning career.

I made that lady feel so bad about the state that her bathtub was in.

And she knew it was in a bad state, that's why she hired me.

My suggestion to you is people are going to apologize.

Let them be the ones that say, "Oh, my house is such a mess."

Don't you be the one, because it really never ends very well.

And this woman was gracious.

She was forgiving.

She was kind to me.

She still kept me employed.

And all these things.

I didn't lose my job over it, but I easily could have.

Stuff like that is going to happen in your career.

What my suggestion is minimize it by taking the high road up front.

And when someone says, "Oh, I'm so sorry my house is a mess," you're just like,

"Yeah, whatever. That's why I'm here.

It's all good.

It's all under control."

And then go ahead and close the deal.

And then make that person's life a little bit better.

All right, and don't do what I did, because that was just embarrassing on all fronts.

And in the Xbox version when playing as a female, the female slaves tell you to visit the male slave, which doesn't exist. A fun fact.

They even say that in the description - low difficulty mine (and this is a MINOR mine) needs 15 DC, and if the mine is to be recovered, +5 needs to be added to that, so we should roll over 20 (15+5).

And if that was some special minor mine, the medium difficulty should be true, thus 20+5. But for some reason this mine is set to the HIGH difficulty - DC 30 (25+5). Argh.

This has really pissed me off.

If the game didn't force me to take Canderous, I could have used Mission. Mission would be able to do it.

But nooo - I got to get screwed over this.
