well we're gonna cook a Christmas dinner but it's quite difficult in China

because there's no oven there's no butter there's no like dairy products so

we got the chicken basically my plan is to do the chicken we're gonna have to

just fry it and then try and do fried potatoes that make some gravy and some

stuffing so it's not much of a Christmas dinner but it's better than nothing I'd

like to welcome my assistant chef okay so this is the Chinese Way of cooking

they just have a fire and then a big wok so means everything is cooked very

quickly yeah so why did Yardley it's all fun using a chopstick as a spreading knife

hey George, it's our christmas tree. we don't normally put it on the table we need to put some stuff on it

the handy chopstick comes in handy

because the Wok is so powerful when we are trying to fry the bread it just burn

instantly so that's it make do we don't have any knives or Forks and we don't

have any plates so we've got bowls and we got chopsticks you know you're in

China you can't have everything this is the great says the carrot is in

it yeah this is Christmas dinner in China

this is China's finest stuffing so you can see this is fried bread with with

burnt onion we have fried potato oh this is the gravy this is so bad I mean

luckily these guys don't know what any of this is supposed to look like but you

guys at home I'm very sorry for what you're witnessing

honestly it's not good looking but it's tasty

although you may now think otherwise I can actually cook at home at least it's just when

you've got a fiery Inferno of a wok to play with and also I don't really cook

with meat either so it was all a bit new for me if I did that again I'm sure I'd

be able to do a good meal but hey it was funny so I hope you enjoyed watching it

so have an awesome Christmas I hope you're eating good food with family or

friends somewhere and the Tai Chi family extend their best wishes from China

EP 5 Inside MARVEL's Creative Universe | Re:IMAGINE - Duration: 11:56.

I am really looking forward to seeing a complete version of the comic.

In a good way, I can't imagine us as comic characters.

I hope our music reaches more people through this Marvel collaboration.

We've considered challenging foreign markets for quite some time.

It was five or six years ago.

We thought we should challenge overseas.

It would have been too late to try after achieving national success in Japan.

It's been a long journey.

In Japan we are [SEKAI NO OWARI], but overseas we are [End of the World].

I sing in English when we perform in the U.S. and Japanese and English in China.

I am originally from Canada.

That's where I met C.B. and started working with Marvel Comics.

The script came.

The first page always includes the location of the story, which is...

These details are very helpful.

They're standing, but blanketed in shadow. I want to make them look cool.

Draw the clown hair and mask to easily distinguish DJ LOVE.

It says that Fukase has a cane.

Saori has a bob haircut and an accordion, so I want to highlight those features.

Nakajin wears a top hat.

Considering the whole structural outline, I add mountains, trees, and snow on it.

In panel two, lines are spoken by DJ LOVE, Fukase, and Nakajin.

It's in English so it reads left-to-right.

DJ LOVE is on the left, Fukase is the middle,

and Nakajin is on the right because he drives this scene.

It says, "Bit of dark, eager look in Nakajin's eyes."

So I'll give him a grim expression in this simple rough draft.

He's speaking, so his mouth is open.

So DJ LOVE is on the left.

Fukase is in the back with his cane.

In the third panel, Saori plays the accordion.

"Eerie" means dark and spooky,

so I express that as much as possible.

It says, "musical notes" for sound effects, so draw some here.

The first page is done, and since the script is for 20 pages this time,

I draw the rough draft in one sitting. It's easier for me to make it cohesive.

This was the most difficult panel for me to draw. The script says,

"Fukase taking flight, tearing through the robot attackers with his sword,"

But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't picture an image of him flying.

There was too much going on in one panel.

So I decided to take inspiration from a samurai's sword fight,

and chose a one-on-one battle, incorporating various poses as they fall.

The colorist, Ian, is from Toronto, I've met him three times.

I really like his way of using colors.

I usually don't fill in the blank spaces with ink.

But Ian adds depth to my drawing by using a coarse paper-like texture.

I really trust his work.

to simplify German grammar because we know that many people

think that German is a difficult language. Often, people say that life's

too short to learn German, but they say that because they don't have us

by their side: MosaLingua and our tips and tricks

for German grammar.

With our hacks you'll learn German grammar faster and it won't

take you a lifetime, we promise. Some parts of

German grammar are even easier than in other languages. That's why the

first part of our series is about showing you what you don't have to learn.

Relax and don't believe anybody who says that German

is difficult to learn. First of all: there are no conjugation

groups, which makes conjugating verbs much easier than in

other languages. All verbs have the same endings and are almost always

conjugated in the same way. You don't have to remember 3 different groups, and that

saves time and energy. Secondly: all verbs have the same ending

in the infinitive, and there are almost no real irregular verbs.

Most verbs can be categorized in groups because they generally follow a certain pattern.

This way you don't have to learn all of them. You just have to know

which group they belong to, and then you can conjugate them. There are very few

real irregular verbs left over. Third:

in German there aren't as many tenses as in most other language.

For example, there is no tense for actions that are happening now, and

there also aren't as many forms that describe something impossible

improbable, or uncertain. That minimizes the number of tenses

that you have to learn and also makes it much easier to figure out which verb form

to use for which tense. In spoken German we use even fewer tenses.

Some tenses are only used in literature, so

you don't need to know them in the beginning. You only actually have to study one present tense

and one past tense. We almost always use the present tense to talk about

the future. So if you know just two tenses

you will be able to express and understand about 80% of what you need to. Fourth:

there are similarities between German and other European languages.

When you hear words like "die Butter," "das Bier" or other words like those,

you see its resemblance to English. But there are also

a lot of words with Latin roots that look like words in

Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese, for example

"die Generation," "die Alternative," or "die Kapazität." Fifth: some people get

scared when they see long German words, but that's not necessary.

Actually we just connect words you already know, getting rid of the space between them.

This way you don't have to think much about the syntax. A long word

can be composed of three or more words.

For example: in English I would say "the key to the door of the room." In German that's

simply "Zimmertürschlüssel," which literally means "roomdoorkey."

You simply need to read the separate parts of the word in order to understand

what it means. Maybe one day you can even invent your

own long German words! I hope I was able to show you that

not everything about German grammar is super complicated. If you need more

well we're gonna cook a Christmas dinner but it's quite difficult in China

because there's no oven there's no butter there's no like dairy products so

we got the chicken basically my plan is to do the chicken we're gonna have to

just fry it and then try and do fried potatoes that make some gravy and some

stuffing so it's not much of a Christmas dinner but it's better than nothing I'd

like to welcome my assistant chef okay so this is the Chinese Way of cooking

they just have a fire and then a big wok so means everything is cooked very

quickly yeah so why did Yardley it's all fun using a chopstick as a spreading knife

hey George, it's our christmas tree. we don't normally put it on the table we need to put some stuff on it

because the Wok is so powerful when we are trying to fry the bread it just burn

instantly so that's it make do we don't have any knives or Forks and we don't

have any plates so we've got bowls and we got chopsticks you know you're in

China you can't have everything this is the great says the carrot is in

this is China's finest stuffing so you can see this is fried bread with with

burnt onion we have fried potato oh this is the gravy this is so bad I mean

luckily these guys don't know what any of this is supposed to look like but you

guys at home I'm very sorry for what you're witnessing

honestly it's not good looking but it's tasty

although you may now think otherwise I can actually cook at home at least it's just when

you've got a fiery Inferno of a wok to play with and also I don't really cook

with meat either so it was all a bit new for me if I did that again I'm sure I'd

be able to do a good meal but hey it was funny so I hope you enjoyed watching it

so have an awesome Christmas I hope you're eating good food with family or

either that or it's the antenna- no, that's the antenna,

and that's a plant of some sort, a Chorus plant probably!

I'm just in shock of what happened man

The Quartz tower literally got hit and it just collapsed totally, I am-

shocked!

I gotta say, I am shocked!

you know, like, who would've thought that would of ever happened...

In my world, like- I mean, terrorist, who ever is causing this would've thought it would happen

and these invisible, glitch- invisible leave blocks probably knew it would happen, but, like

this is, this is just not cool!

we definitely have people against us right now,

and I think... we, are gonna have to go fight em!

So... when we do...

you will see... andI can't go past my security, I didn't deactivate it when I was in a panic to save Santa

WEATHER/NEWS REPORTER: the power lines have been restored, we did get word that Santa did get shocked by them a little bit and got set on fire for a little bit!

WEATHER/NEWS REPORTER: yeah, other than that, this world has been completely restored

WEATHER/NEWS REPORTER: too it's... glorious form

Chelsea transfer news: Icardi verdict, three stars to depart, Sarri's Eden Hazard problem - Duration: 6:24.

Over the summer Antonio Conte resembled an unwanted house guest. The whole football world expected his departure at end of the 2017/18 season but the former Juve chief stuck around until July

Once Conte was out of the door his compatriot - Maurizio Sarri - was ushered in. The former banker didn't mess around when it came to signing his top targets

Jorginho - who was a key player for Sarri at Napoli - was drafted in alongside Kepa Arrizabalaga

Matteo Kovacic also moved to Stamford Bridge on loan from Real Madrid. A period of adjustment in west London was expected but the Blues hit the ground running

They encountered a rocky patch in early December but are still well on track for a top-four finish

Throughout his career, Sarri has been notoriously reluctant to rotate his preferred 1st XI

However, with fixtures coming thick and fast domestically and in Europe he might need to have a rethink

New arrivals are expected - as well as some outgoings. What do Chelsea need in January?  Both Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have misfired this term

Morata was a big-money buy from Real Madrid 18 months ago but has looked devoid of confidence under both Sarri and Conte

Giroud is a proven Premier League goal scorer but at 32 years old his powers appear to be waning

Sarri has been linked with Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi and knows the Argentine ace well from his time managing in Italy

The 25-year-old would be a clear upgrade on Chelsea's current crop.  Icardi has already bagged 13 goals this season - that's one more than Morata and Giroud combined

Who do Chelsea need to get rid of in January Danny Drinkwater, Victor Moses and Andreas Christensen are all facing New Year transfers

Moses and Drinkwater have been linked with Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively

Express Sport understands Barcelona are monitoring Christensen's availability closely

The Denmark international was a regular under Conte. But Sarri seemingly doesn't fancy the 22-year-old who has been restricted to just one Premier League appearance

Despite his peripheral status at the club, Sarri is reluctant to sanction his departure in case of injuries at the back

What will Chelsea try and do in January The departures of Drinkwater and Moses appear nailed on as Sarri looks to free up space in his squad

Keeping hold of Eden Hazard will also be at the forefront of Chelsea's agenda. Mega moves in January are unusual, but Real remain huge admirers and have cash to splash following a turgid start to the season

Whether Sarri will push the boat out for Icardi remains to be seen. However, the Inter is in a contract standoff at the San Siro and Sarri might be tempted to test their resolve

Roman Abramovich's extravagant spending sprees are a thing of the past but Sarri will be backed if he can justify the outlay

What will Chelsea actually get in January In reality, Sarri will probably maintain the status quo - particularly among Chelsea's forward line

Patience with Morata is clearly wearing thin, but to offload him in January and source a suitable upgrade will be a tough task

If Sarri is absolutely determined to sign a striker then a loan deal would make more sense financially

Nevertheless, at times this season Chelsea have seemed almost wholly reliant on Hazard

Christmas celebrated in Korea, around the world - Duration: 2:06.

Churches all across the world held special services on Christmas and Christmas Eve.

We start our newscast by taking a look at how people gathered to celebrate the holidays

and remember its true meaning.

Yoon Jung-min has our top story.

To celebrate the birth of Jesus, Catholic and Protestant churches across Korea held

religious services on the stroke of midnight on Tuesday and throughout Christmas day.

At Myeongdong Cathedral in central Seoul, a large crowd attended the mass to share the

joyous occasion while chanting and praying for peace.

Archbishop Andrew Yeom Soo-jung sent a message of love and prayed for people in North Korea

and for peace on the Korean peninsula.

"I hope the holy birth of Jesus will also be a new hope and light for our brothers in

the North who are in a difficult situation."

On Christmas Eve and throughout Christmas Day, Protestant churches in Korea also celebrated

the birth of Jesus with services and prayed for those in need.

Services were held in other parts of the world, too.

This year, Christmas came amid deep sorrow in Indonesia where a tsunami last weekend

claimed hundreds of lives.

Churches in Indonesia commemorated the victims,... and people who attended services mourned and

prayed for them.

At St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City on Christmas Eve, Pope Francis presided over

a mass to celebrate the day.

During the service, he condemned the divide between rich and poor, and emphasized how

the meaning of life doesn't come from material possessions, reflecting on the birth of Jesus

in poverty.

"In our day, for many people, life's meaning is found in possessing, in having an excess

of material objects.

An insatiable greed marks all human history, even today, paradoxically, a few dine luxuriantly

while all too many go without the daily bread needed to survive."

He urged for "sharing and giving" while criticizing the greed of today's consumerism.
