my korean name is legally part of my first name

my first name is legally nina somee

i don't know why it's like that

i think my parents were just like

let's just put as much as we want on the birth certificate

so my full name's actually kinda long

not really that long

but my first name is nina somee

but i never went by nina somee

i just went by nina

and i don't think it's ever really affected my life

i feel like it's just on my birth certificate

also my korean friends, they don't go by their korean names either

i just went by nina

and i don't think it's ever really affected my life

In today's video I am going to share some really simple ideas and a few steps to deep

clean your entire home in half the time than it usually takes!

If you are a SAHM with a little kid, if you are someone who has an office going job or

someone who is looking for easy to do ideas, this video is for you.

Let me first answer a few FAQs.

What material/items should you keep ready?

Before you sit down to follow my tips and start cleaning, I suggest you keep these things

handy: 1.

An all-purpose cleaner.

I generally use Mrs. Meyers.

It's less on chemicals and safe.

But if you want to use a DIYs like baking soda vinegar solution, there's a quick tip

– Do not mix them in advance or keep it in a spray bottle the previous night or a

little while before.

It does not work!

These 2 things just loose the effect once the soda or the fizz is gone.

Mix it on the go as and when you have a space to tackle.

So the way I would do it is, rub some baking soda or salt, salt is a very good cleansing

agent, on the surface and then spray some vinegar on top of it for effective results.

The second thing you need to keep handy is the Cleaning brush.

In parts of this video, I am using the Housemile Electric Spin Scrubber.

This has a fine brush, a crevice cleaning brush, hard brush and a scouring pad.

It is water proof.

And the battery is rechargeable.

Then you need 2 cleaning cloths and/or a microfiber cloth,

Not the least, take a tooth brush.

Some times basic supplies like a tooth brush which are available all the time are very

useful.

Which parts of the house can I tackle after seeing this video?

How long will it take to finish the cleanup?

Now, let me be real.

I am not going to tell you that the entire cleaning can be done in an hour but honestly

if you do it in a flow, it might take up to 3-4 hours to get a spic and span festive ready

or a guest ready home compared to any elaborate week long process of continued cleaning that

you might follow.

When should I take up the cleaning activity to be able to finish in the least possible

time?

To answer this question, it's up to you to choose the day of the week for cleaning

depending on your convenience.

But whenever you do, do a smart job.

Here are a few tips for you to make it easy: Finish up your cooking and other basic household

chores before you begin the process.

That way you are more sorted on your head!

Try to start a bit early say by about 10:00 AM.

Too good if you can before that.

Don't worry if the rest of the family wakes up a bit late.

You can finish other jobs like cooking laundry and such things in the meanwhile.

Now a word of caution - Do not try to dry the laundry yet if you are sun drying your

clothes.

Keep it for later 'coz the clothes are likely to catch a lot of dust while cleaning.

If you get time to clean up only over the weekend, I would suggest cleaning up on the

Saturday instead of the Sunday... as you can spend some time off in a clean home with your

family.

Will It give me the same results of a meticulous cleaning?

To a very large extent, yes!!!

Are there shortcuts in this process?

Obviously, yes!

The idea is to save time and do more but without much compromise.

Where do I start?

I prefer room wise cleaning.

So, the first room that I always start with is the kids room.

Kids are the most impatient members of the family.

So, when I begin to clean I let them watch some TV.

That way they are seated in a place minus any further mess.

Once I clean their room, they can go back to play as soon as possible.

And then I move on to the living room and dining and then to the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom

and the balcony in the end.

It's any way your choice how you want to do it but try to tackle the priority areas

first.

Okay, let me now take you through the step-wise process of cleaning that will make your cleaning

super-efficient: Step 1: First soak up all those areas of the

house that are stubborn.

For ex.

The bathroom grouts, kitchen tiles etc.

This will save your scrubbing time and leave a much cleaner bathroom and kitchen.

But be wise.

You don't want to soak things for so long that it starts drying out by the time you

get there.

So time it out.

Soak up the bathroom tiles when you are half way through cleaning the house.

Soak up the kitchen tiles in the beginning…that way.

Step 2: Pick a room and start with the fans and fixtures.

Remember the top to bottom logic.

The dirt from fixtures like ceiling fans and tube lights will dirty the floor for sure

and the other furniture.

Basically, there is no point cleaning anything at the ground level first.

If the fan has some loose dust and nothing stubborn: Instead of taking a big bucket full

of water and a cloth to clean this is what I would do.

Use an old pillow case to dust the fan and to give it a shine, spray some all-purpose

liquid and clean it with a dry cloth.

If the fan has residue that is greasy like the ones in the kitchen, you might have to

take some time out to clean it blade by blade with the help of a soap solution.

Soap solution with some vinegar helps clean it really fast!

As for the other fixtures, use your all purpose cleaner.

Do not spray directly.

Spray some liquid on a piece of cloth, preferably a microfibre cloth and use that to clean the

surface.

Step 3: Dust off your walls Once you are done with your fixtures.

It's time to clean up the walls even before you clean the shelves.

Because remember the pattern in which the dust generally falls - downwards.

Here's a quick tip - You can tie a micro fiber cloth to a dry mop.

You do not have to buy if you don't have one.

Go in a zigzag pattern.

It will save a ton of cleaning time.

Step 4: Clean your shelves If you have the time to pull out your books

and other stuff on the shelves, great!

But incase you don't, a mop like this is your best friend.

It can go in to corners very easily.

Step 5: Now it's time to clean up the furniture on the floor.

Like the bed if it's a bedroom, dining chairs, tables, sofa and center table if it's a

living room, basically any piece of furniture.

Step 6: Clean up the carpet or the floor of the room.

You can either do it as and when you clean up that room or in the fag end when you are

done with the entire house.

But remember to close down that room if you want to mop the floor room wise.

You don't want outside dust to go in the already clean room..

Step 7: Clean up the kitchen.

Use a tooth brush to clean the nooks and corners.

Clean up your appliances using the all-purpose cleaner and a microfiber cloth, again in an

S or Zig Zag pattern.

It will save you a lot of cleaning time.

Step 8: Clean up the bathroom: Remember that bathroom is the breeding ground for most germs

in the house.

As a general rule I advise to clean the bathroom in the very end for hygiene purposes.

Clear off all the dustbins.

If you are using a vacuum, clear off the lint.

Don't forget to switch on the fans in the rooms for sometime so that the moisture goes

away and all the smell from the cleaning supplies goes off.

Put some air freshener in the rooms including the bathrooms.

"Significa abbracciare la nostra patria, le nostre famiglie, i nostri amici così come sono, anche con le loro fragilità e piccolezze

Abbracciare la vita si manifesta anche quando diamo il benvenuto a tutto ciò che non è perfetto, puro o distillato, ma non per questo è meno degno di amore"

Si chiede il Papa: "Forse che qualcuno per il fatto di essere disabile o fragile non è degno d'amore? Qualcuno per il fatto di essere straniero, di avere sbagliato, di essere malato o in una prigione non è degno d'amore? Così fece Gesù: abbracciò il lebbroso, il cieco e il paralitico, abbracciò il fariseo e il peccatore

Abbracciò il ladro sulla croce e abbracciò e perdonò persino quelli che lo stavano mettendo in croce"

  Francesco riconosce che non è facile dire sì alla vita se si resta "senza lavoro, senza istruzione, senza comunità, senza famiglia"

"Com'è facile – dice ancora –criticare i giovani e passare il tempo mormorando, se li priviamo di opportunità lavorative, educative e comunitarie a cui aggrapparsi e sognare il futuro! Senza istruzione è difficile sognare il futuro; senza lavoro è molto difficile sognare il futuro; senza famiglia e comunità è quasi impossibile sognare il futuro"

  "Lo sappiamo bene – conclude il Papa – non basta stare tutto il giorno connessi per sentirsi riconosciuti e amati

Sentirsi considerato e invitato a qualcosa è più grande che stare 'nella rete'. Significa trovare spazi in cui con le vostre mani, con il vostro cuore e con la vostra testa potete sentirvi parte di una comunità più grande che ha bisogno di voi e di cui anche voi avete bisogno"

  Piuttosto "essere un influencer nel secolo XXI significa essere custodi delle radici, custodi di tutto ciò che impedisce alla nostra vita di diventare 'gassosa' ed evaporare nel nulla
