I actually like obviously was very upset when "Life Sentence" got canceled. But it
was such a great life lesson for me because I just gotten off a show that
went for eight years. And it was it was really humbling to be like oh like any
of this could go away any second. But it also reminded me of how much I love what
I do. Because I was so upset over it. It was a good reminder that I'm still in
the place where I need to be. That I still care about it so much.
And I think that's life. No matter what industry are in like you can't win them
all. It's so easy to look at the glass half-empty and so for me it was just
like taking the life lessons I learned from that show and how I grew as an
actor and taking that and moving forward. I feel like I became a better actor. I
made amazing friends. Got to live in an amazing city. So it's really just
changing your perspective because you can find the negative. But it's so much
better. Life is so much better when you find the positive twist on things.
And it makes you appreciate success so much more. You know, I've worked really,
really, really hard at this and I have auditioned thousands of times and like
had my heart broken a million times from thinking I was gonna get something. But
it really only trains you to appreciate it more when you do get it. So I'm
grateful that it's worked out the way it has.

good morning
so I haven't closed out a blog and a really long time like I keep forgetting
i vlog and then when it's night time just like they forgot so um
last night we went out to dinner but my body is not very appreciative of me
eating one tomatoes and two pasta and bread excited a piece of bread last
night so last night was just a whole bunch of fun for me I didn't end up
actually being able to fall asleep like four and then I got up at 7 but then I
just made myself fall back asleep because it's not enough sleep so I um
well I couldn't fall asleep because I was having burning in my entire body
from tomatoes cuz there according to my body spicy and then I had like and then
I woke up with side pain from the bread and pasta because my body like said just
that stuff so much so yeah spaghetti is basically just too spicy for me like
yesterday I was twirling enough and my eyes started like burning just cuz I got
too close to it I'm such a weakling so when it comes to spicy so I have been
editing or processing videos this morning I don't really want to edit
videos day but I should just so that I'm caught up more but why be caught up and
do you think in a timely fashion I do need to semi like figure out what's
wrong with my closet because there pile of clothing that is not hung up
it's getting larger and larger and I don't know why oh look he's going away
now he shoved his way inside and then won't go back to his spot so come on
nothing nothing come on look at it oh this dog and now he shoves his way into
his caged little doggy Jail I'm gonna try to make you go outside cuz
he just wanders his way to my room nothing go I was going to wear my new

so I'm wearing this it's that workout tank top thing that we got looks great I
think so I think well I haven't actually worn the purple puppy sweater yet but
all of the clothes that we got for the weekend because we needed the actual
clothes that can be worn with the brace like this one it's the neck is smaller
than or Yai smaller than this but it's really stretchy so I can pull it under
and around it because I I guess I could wear the clothes like pinching on the
neck hole but now it feel weird so don't know where I'm going with the
statement but basically I'm wearing this shirt because the purple puppy one had
needed to be washed before I could wear it and I am trying to get caught up on
editing but it's like this ah you know me saying that I thought I
was getting a cold or something from being around people was not an
over-exaggeration I actually have a fever now and I still have my sore
throat
why because it's not like my fever when I um I just had the fever for no reason
fever because with that I didn't feel hot my mic like my temperature was just
hot but I have like when I get sick fever type like whether I'm sick anti oh
a fever I get the fever symptoms like I don't know why I why would I have like
an actual viewer like the top of my head hurts and I feel all like sweaty even
though I'm not sweating man someone take more vitamin C um take some Tylenol and
then we are going to do some painting or something and I need to tell my mother
that I Neal have a fever explain getting real persons like right
I finished the picture me and Jess it looks pretty good until you get close up
on our faces let's see it looks kind of scary but I think it looks fantastic
from far away although that's how much my paintings end up looking they look
great if you're far away and then if you get up close it's like mmm
so um really sweaty still and then tarde so back to my room back to the cave - I
don't know and do you see this I don't know what happened here but I was
picking out my lip the other day because there was like a scab on it and you know
there's a bump on my lip and my lips look really dry but they're not that dry
in person they just look like that on camera we are going to fizzle err pineal
oh my gosh it turns hurt went back that's highlighting three-month window
one lucky it's raining this is my favorite part
wait do it again that's maybe for part of their so we're going through therapy
and is the more or I guess there's only been two times they take off the
neckbrace but it's taking more time for my arm to get back to functionality so
the first day when we put on the neck brace
I had pretty good here invention II like that night and it had been applied a
long time since I'd used my hand like a month and then the other time like last
Thursday I didn't have a really good use Friday but then it was that Saturday and
then we took it off what this Sunday I didn't really have use of it yesterday
or today so
great we're we're not taking off today
although my poor back good luck my back cuz if we're not doing my neck we're
doing my back what's up yeah what do you wanna do I don't wanna do anything up to
me I would quit when the going gets hard quit I don't know if I already said this
or not but we changed my plan if it's a little therapy again so today we did not
take off my collar so hope so I will probably be able to breathe night and we
didn't do anything on my neck or really of my spine like we didn't do any of
like though putting me on I go I call it a leash but it's not it's like a belts
kind of attached to a bungee cord but like different strength bungee cords so
that I have to do like pulling against I don't know I don't understand what that
is it's just it helps to strengthen my core we didn't do any of that today we
did like balance stuff and then just a little bit of strengthening of my lack
of back muscles because that thing that I'm missing in my life is called
strength apparently and so we so Isis adilyn like a floppy I don't want it I
call it a floppy disk but it's not like an old timey floppy disk it's like a um
partially inflated yoga block but a circle and then just some arm exercises
and then as my because my arm surgit tingles I was started doing my green
like this I do that well I do that on this side all the time but I do that on
this side only part of the time or only really when it's tingly
so I started doing that he we did like one more thing and then it was we're
done so that I still have okay ich function of my arm turn Mauro
and then hopefully it'll I will just continue on my recovery from taking it
off on Sunday and then we talked about how I don't get sore like I don't know
if that's a good thing or a bad thing that I don't get sore whatsoever like my
body it like just doesn't have the ability to feel so I think I need to go
to bed now and then tomorrow hopefully I will be feeling back to being a normal
old Ellen yeah so good night and I will see you tomorrow
