But I really just wanted to come back and update you all on
all my favorite bronzers and contour powders that are actually dark enough to contour and bronze our
deep dark skin.
So first being our Ruby kisses mineral powder in a new and improved
formula. These two are
cognac and
this is ebony have swatches on my arm as I talked to you guys about this.
So you guys can see these for five dollars. I really don't think that you can beat the price
These are super smooth super life. They're not super super dark
So you're not going to get that color payoff like the Sasha or the Mac embark?
But if you're my skin tone and maybe a shade darker
These will work as a contour and they're they're matte. So they don't have any shimmer
I tend to like my contour powders and bronzers was a little bit of shimmer, but the odds are against us
We don't have a lot of options
Unfortunately, hopefully these cosmetic companies will change that but these are nice. So these are the Ruby kisses
Mineral powders and these are I guess powder foundations. Um, but I say you can use them as
Contour powders in bronzing powders. The next one is super cheap. I
Found this at the beauty supply, but the color path is beautiful. This is very shimmery
This is a clean color bronzer in the color Luna
Super shimmery, and it's very warm
So if you like your red tones, if you like that the tone that covergirl Queen gives off. This is your girl
She's super shimmery though. So I would just take her and this is how I take her I'm gonna show you guys I

She's cute next I have a black radiance pressed powder in black coffee. This is a new
Shade, I think thanks. Well, they extended their range there Shane range
And this is the darkest color and it's in black coffee
I used to use evany I think but evany is not as dark
As I like it to be and so I'm so glad they extended their Shane ranging this baby right here
Abbey in the star and blush palette volume one
super rich, it reminds me of
Mac's sketch or
um
It's another blush by Mac that's super dark brown, but it's more purple
This one is more Brown super warm get in there and contour with it should just chorus my little double chin out
Honey, and I go in here. This is what I use to contour
I wouldn't bronze with this because it is very rich and it's on the darker side. So
The abbey color from the Sahara Bush palette this blush palette already about 20 bucks
I'd say it's worth it because you have your highlighters and your blush in here. And then this one this is just a winner
It's just absolutely a winner
Next is not a powder but like honorable mention seriously
This is the donessa Meyer X beauty cover cream or bronzing cream in the shade deep
Y'all will see this watch but god it's creamy it's just bomb for those of you who like to go in and
Contour after you've set your highlight you can use it like that or before you set everything when you highlight. Um,
And do your foundation glowing and cream contour? This one is bomb. It's worth the price you get a lot of products for the price

So the first shade is gonna be Ben and this is a super one Brown
It's gonna give you the bronze
It's gonna give you the warmth and you can contour with this if you if you would like as well
This is a powder foundation. But of course I use this as
a contour powder and

This shade as you can see from the swatch has the gold shimmers in it?
It's warm like um Ben but it has gold shimmers in it
So it's gonna give you that
Illumination that you love is gonna give you the warmth and you're going to be able to contour with it
So you cannot beat that you just you just can't beat it

and that was their suggestion. Which is actually something I had been thinking about,
But I was a little bit worried about trying it. ... And I also thought about, maybe, starting
a different channel ... and those sorts of things. So, I did poll you guys on my community tab and the last
I looked at it, we were at about a 50-50 on people who were cool with it and people who weren't
so cool with it. ... But in the comments below, I did see that a lot of you who voted no also said that
you were fine with whatever I decided to do. So, this is what I'm deciding to do. This channel, Stephanie
Bethany will remain around for autism videos that I plan to be doing every Thursday at 4pm.
And then I've made two new channels. One is Stephanie Speaks, and that will be ... Saturdays at 4pm
weekly, I'll be releasing a new video on a Christian topic. And then the other channel is Life with Steph Beth,
and that's going to be on Tuesdays at 4pm. I'll be releasing a new video that's going to be doing
with my weight loss journey, with my vlogs, ... fun stuff I just want to do for fun, all that kind of stuff like that.

now let's give them some highlights let's use that pint tool

How to make a No Sew Fabric Brooch or Hair-clip - Duration: 15:58.
hi and welcome back to Darvanalee Designs Studio for those that don't know my
name's Nicole Reed and today I've got an awesome no-sew project for you to make
these cute little brooches and all out of your scrap bin so let's get started
okay so today as I said we are going to make these little rounds and we're going
to either turn that you can either turn them into a hair clip or you can turn
them into a little brooch like I've done here
these are little brooch ones are perfect you can pin them either on your lapel or
you could put them on a handbag or something like that or even on a diary
just to decorate a little bit you're going to need some craft little diamond
tees or a button or something along those lines I just got these what they
call bling cluster they're a little bit sparkly they came in like a grey color
or black and a silver and they just sort of give it a little bit of bling you'll
need either some hair clips just plain silver ones or some brooch clips I'll
put a link down below where you can get your supplies you're also gonna need
some felt and the fabric that I used is labelled by Riley Blake designs and it
was just a few scrap pieces that I had leftover this from memory I think it was
a six inch strip that I had and I've just cut my strips the width of the
fabric at one and a half inches I probably wouldn't go any less than one
inch so just work with what you've got you're going to need something to create
a circle so I've just got a piece of template plastic here you're going to
need a marking device you're going to need some scissors and you're also going
to need a hot glue gun and a safety pin okay so our first step is we're going to
just open up our pieces of strips that we've got here we don't need to do any
sewing with this at all and you don't even need to cut off the selvage end if
you don't want to I generally just give it a quick snip with some pinking shears
and just get rid of that stiffer part of the
selvage but really close to it and then all I'm going to do is lay them on top
of one another with the right sides facing up and just like so so it looks
like you've got three pieces there and then I will just fold them on themselves
and just tie a knot so wrap it around my finger
and just slip that through and then move the knot as close as I can to the end
and pull that really tight okay and then what I do is I just grab my safety pin
and you can attach it to a tablecloth or you can sit it under something heavy or
anything like that so for me I just don't put a safety pin in it and then I
just grab my ironing pad because it's got a little bit of weight to it and I
just stick that in there and come back out again and then just attach it to
that now that's got a bit of weight for me and just get rid of some of my other
stuff and I move it as far away as I can from me so to plat them I just fold them
in half so the right sides are facing outwards so you can see they're on the
other side the right sides facing out it doesn't have to be super even that's
fine okay and then I've got one down the center and I've got one coming out to
the right so what I'm going to do now is take my left over the center one and
then that will become my Center one then I take my right one over the center one
and then that will become my Center one and that Center I will now become the
right and I just keep doing that it is just like braiding someone's hair and
the reason I've got it pinned in here it's just to give it that little bit of
stability so I can plant it now you can hug this as loose as you want so you
don't have to do it super tight so this one is loose see here you can see it's
quite easy to manipulate but if I was to do it tighter I would just pull it a bit
tighter so you can see there it just goes a little bit tighter
and basically you do that to all the way to the end
okay so we've got down to the end here so what we're going to do is we are
going to finish that off so we'll take off our salvages and we'll just get rid
of those and then what you're going to do is you're just going to get your hot
glue gun and we're just going to try it and make this as flat as possible so
bring your hopper we go over and on your centerpiece just put a little dollop and
squeeze that together and then the same over this side again just putting a
little bit of a dollop and squeezing that together and then on your outline
outer side you will notice that there is a little bit that's still open just
close that and the same on this side too so that's just nice and flat then we
just grab our safety pin undo that take it out and then we've got a piece of
cord here so one end is flat and it doesn't have any knot in it and this end
has a bit of a knot so we can trim this little bit of excess down and now what
we're going to do is we're actually going to turn it into a circle just like
this one here so to do that we start with our knot in the center and we just
start winding it around itself like so keep it you can see there I'm keeping
the the plat flat and just making sure that you put a little bit of pressure on
it as you're turning it around if you find that it's moving on you you just
grab a little pin and just pop a pin in there and that'll hold it closed
and then you just keep spinning around building the circle out so you can see
there that I'm just keeping it as flat as possible and if it rises up a little
bit or overlays that's fine too so I'll just pop another pin in there just to
hold it in place for me there may be one around here and you can see here we've
come to the end so what I do with this bit is I just slide that under because
it's got that little bit of a hot glue in it it's made a little bit stiff and I
just bring that around and I just slide it under and you can see there that
that's going to hide really well so be just before I sort of secure it in place
so just make sure that everything is sitting how I want it I'm pretty happy
with how that's turned out so I'm just going to pull that bit back out grab my
hot glue gun just put a small dollop on it and then I'm just going to gently
lift the platter the circle up and then pop that underneath there and just give
it a bit of a press and you can see there that that is now created the
circle so we can take up gently take our pins out and you can see there is a
little bit of movement there so what we're going to do is you just grab your
hot glue gun and just down the bottom of the plat so you can see here this is the
top up this bit here is the top and this is the bottom we're just going to put a
little tiny just a tiny little squirt of glue and then I will just push them
together and that will just secure it in place so I'm going to continue doing
that and then we'll put our felt on be careful because the glue is hot and
wherever you think that it could do with a little bit more security just put a
little bit of glue and because this glue is clear you can't actually see it and
it's hidden anyway so just get in the groove there where it's not going to be
seen and pop it into place okay so I'm pretty happy with how the outside is all
coming together but I just want to make sure that
so you can see there my Center one's not really secure so I'm just gonna put a
little bit of blue there and just secure that nicely and then I'm going to flip
it over and where I started I'm just going to put a little bit of glue on
that underneath then secure that in place so you can see there then I've got
this nice little plaited round and now I'm ready to put my felt on the back now
depending how big you make it or you can make it a little bit bigger so I just
used three strips the width of the fabric and then just plotted them
together and this gives you a nice size so you can see that it fits in the palm
of my hand but you could make it bigger if you wanted to you could make it so
it's like a underneath a pot or something along those lines it's just a
great way to use up your scraps so now what I'm going to do is I'm just going
to set that aside and let that cool a bit and then I've just got a piece of
scrap felt here that was in my scrap bin I'm gonna grab my friction pen and I'm
just gonna outline the circle okay so we've traced around our circle and all
we're going to do now is we're just going to quickly cut that out and just
cut on that line and then basically all you're going to do is now that that's
cooled and everything is in place and you can see there that it's got quite
some stability to it but this felt on the back will actually give it at that
little bit more stability so what I do is I just basically grab my glue gun and
I just put it wherever I can sort of do a spiral and this is going to act as an
anchor for all these pieces so then I just don't pick that piece up and gently
and carefully not to burn myself I place that in the center of
the little circle there so you can see there that that's on there now you just
need to hold that in place for a little while and then basically if I've got any
areas like just here where it hasn't got any glue on it I will just go and put a
little bit of glue there and press it down just need a little bit not too much
alright and that's it it's pretty much done now and now all we want to do is we
the turn it into a hair clip or into a little brooch so I'm going to turn this
one into a little brooch so I flip it over again I just grab one of these at
and I'm just going to make sure that it's up the right way so you can see
here that it has a little hook on it and there's all different ones out there but
I'll leave a link down below where you can get some of these supplies and then
I'm just eyeballing the center and make sure that I've got it in the right place
and that looks to be about right I just make a little mark in those holes there
and you can see that that I can now line that up once I've put the hot glue so I
know not to put glue where those holes are so I just put a little dollop there
a little bit on the other side of the the dot and a little bit on this side of
the dot and then I can just get my little brooch pin and I can just place
that on and hold it in place lining those two dots up with the holes
that are in it now if yours doesn't have any holes in it don't worry about it you
can just make a mark at the top and at the bottom and at each side and then
you'll know that you've got to put the glue into that space just holding that
into place to secure it and then I just grab a little piece of fabric here and I
just trim it up little square piece of fabric will be fine that's just a little
bit of scrap from the from the ends that we cut off and then I grab the hot glue
again and I just put some on either side and in the middle of those dots again
so just like so and then I just placed this on top and that will just give it a
little bit more security and it also hides all the hot glue that didn't go
into the right place because if you're anything like me I am so messy with this
hot glue all righty so I can see this little bit here is still sticking up so
I'm just going to pop a little tiny little bit of glue underneath there and
hold that in place and I do the same thing of any other corner so this
corners up a little bit too a little bit there all right so that's now secure it
in place so you can see they're nice and secure we can open and close that and
pop it on our handbag or on a jacket anywhere you want really okay so then
what we need to do is put a little bit of bling so on this one I'm actually
going to put a little bit of silver bling on it and these you you'll find
these sort of things in your scrapbooking department of your craft
store that you go to or in the dollar shops or anywhere like that and you find
them all online as well and I'll put a couple of links down for a couple of
different sorts underneath this video for you so I just have a bit of a play
around where I want to place it and ideally I want to sort of have it where
that knot is and where we started and we can hide that a little bit so I'm pretty
happy with where that's going to sit so I'll just grab my hot glue we've got a
gun again and put a little dollop of glue on that and then place that where
it needs to go and then press it into place
and there you go our little brooch is done okay so thank you very much for

Best Cordless Vacuum for Home and the Jobsite! - Duration: 11:58.
what's up everybody and welcome back to another tools day I came out to my shop
because I had to do a little bit of organization and it got me thinking
about the perfect tool to talk about 4 tools a day so let's get into it
so today I thought we would talk about you know every shop needs a vacuum and
I've been through all sorts of vacuums I've had the traditional corded shop
vacs which are great they pick up just about everything but they're big and
bulky and then I've also used if you've seen in some of my videos the Makita
cordless vacuum which I do like the idea of cordless but I felt like that one
really fell short on power being cordless and thankfully they brought or
they gave it to you with a corded option as well and that was really the only way
I could use that vacuum specifically as an option that made any sense but
Milwaukee this last year came out with their backpack vacuum and it's pretty
impressive now I have yet to have this on site and I'll tell you why it's not
because I don't think I would use it on-site
I don't know how much I would use it but I do know that my wife has been stealing
it from me every weekend to vacuum the house so we've got multiple Dyson
vacuums because they're the the best vacuum on the market they've got some
cordless options and they do pretty decent right we've all probably seen
them the cordless version that we have I don't know the model number but it
doesn't last the whole house we can't vacuum the whole house as soon as my
wife I kind of convinced her to try it used the cordless vacuum here from
Milwaukee that's the only one she'll use my kids have used it my wife has used it
I think I might have vacuumed the house once with it but I use it out in my shop
to just clean up it's got I think it's about 55 CFM which I don't really know
if that matters because I think you can measure things all sorts of different
ways and make it sound good it weighs 17 pounds so it's it's a
little bit heavier than like your comparable Dyson cordless vac if you're
gonna use it in your house what I love about it though is that it runs off your
m18 platform which I'm heavily invested into Milwaukee's m18 line and when you
throw a 12o battery which is what I've done here and you can see there's all
sorts of room I don't know if that means Milwaukee's thinking bigger packs
because there is like a ton more room in this so maybe an 18 amp hour battery in
the future I don't know however I do know
this thing will vacuum the entire house on one charge and usually do it about
three times before my wife is saying I need a new battery now some of the cool
things about this vacuum that I like is it does have multiple speeds so you've
got your slow or low and high speed which is I don't know whoever uses low
personally I'm always going to go to the highest powered option available that's
just the way I am and maybe that's most people you can clearly see through this
is a one gallon container so it's gonna hold a ton of debris because it remember
this is gonna be for jobsite use maybe a portable dust extractor if you're doing
something like a circular saw cut in the house and you don't want dust flying
everywhere you can throw this on your back use it and it's gonna be nice and
comfortable and go wherever you are so I think that's where the main market
segment is is if you're a remodeler and you're looking for a nice cordless
option this thing has got a ton of power it's running off the battery platform
that most likely you're already using and it's gonna have a lot of capacity
for whatever you're doing now there are a couple downsides I think the one thing
that they did fail if you go to their website they do say that it's good for
carpet and after using it in the house it doesn't do good on carpet which maybe
is not a big deal but if you're a remodeler you're gonna have to vacuum
carpet it doesn't have the roller I don't know whatever you call that
attachment for carpet use the other negative thing that I really didn't like
about it is I feel like there's not good storage on it they've got this little
hook here that's supposed to go into your belt I feel like it would have been
nicer to have a place to put this you've got a crevice attachment that is going
here on the belt also not a horrible idea I just feel like I wish there was
some side storage that these clipped onto one good thing about this vacuum is
it does have it does come with a HEPA filter so it's gonna be definitely good
to use if you're remodeling someone's house if you are in your own home and
you want to make sure you're just you know not recycling all that dirty air
the HEPA filter is gonna do that job to make sure it really filters and you know
doesn't blow dust around your house which is kind of important now the wall
claims 40 minutes of runtime with a nine new power battery I always stick the 12
amp hour battery in it which is gonna give you considerable more runtime I've
never measured it because I don't really care it does the job multiple times
before I ever have to replace the battery so I guess it has really good
run time take that for whatever it is so spec wise I mean this vacuum sucks
right that's what it's made to do it sucks it does a pretty good job at
removing debris but let's let's kind of put it on and show you how it kind of
fits so just like a backpack you've got your straps and I don't know if this is
set up for my wife she was probably the last one to use it I don't even feel my
strap here yeah it's a little bit small I might need to do it just this no
problem got your straps here a pretty standard backpack and then you've got
your hip straps what you're gonna really take the weight off your shoulders and
make it pretty comfortable there you go it's like you're ready to go on a hike
or something so here now you can see I mean this isn't a horrible spot I just
feel like it's kind of here in my in my side if I'm moving around so I wish that
this was somewhere back here but I guess I can see how it'll be handy if I'm over
here vacuuming and I just want to throw this crevice tool on boom I'm ready to
go and I can suck up around the base trim or get in some tight spot like
maybe you're working in and out of your car cleaning up in between seats getting
those Cheerios out from the kids right now I don't know let's see okay I can do
it grabbing that is pretty easy but I don't
think I'm ever gonna put this I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to get this
back on while I'm using it so now I guess I'm kind of in for the long haul
on this attachment you've got an adjustable I guess tube I don't know
what you call that wine so you can don't have to bend over and it stores back
pretty nice and easy whatever like it's pretty much what you would expect it to
be it's it's comfortable you don't have to pull around a base unit that's
rolling around the ground like a shop-vac it's all right here and you
don't have a cord to worry about you can go anywhere my shops 60 by 88
I don't have to keep plugging and unplugging I can go around and vacuum
anywhere so that's what I really love about it all right but enough talk let's
actually use this and see if it does a decent job in the shop maybe hooked up
to a tool or something so believe it or not my wife has basically stolen this
backpack vac since the day I got it and I haven't even headed out in the shop so
I figured what better way to test it then using it on a track saw because
that's what I do a lot of my shop cutting with and you guys already know I
like the makita track saw here it's cordless so that's nice we don't got any
cords here let's just give it a try I have not done this let's see how much
material it actually pulls out of the air okay that's high
well that did some did surprisingly good actually I'm not gonna lie
let's do another one we'll get a close-up shot of that dust that is not
falling from the saw alright here we go
okay that one seemed a little bit dustier I don't know if it was the speed
of the saw or not there's not really any particles floating around more or less
just a couple of the bigger looks like actually this is a brand new track I
haven't even used this track I've got my other one so I was cutting up some of
the Splinter guide or splinter guard I think that's a lot of what was dropping
there okay so now the question is what do I do
I guess I'm gonna have to unhook this every time and I've still got the 17
pound monkey hanging on my back so in retrospect maybe this is not the best
thing to do but the nice thing is Milwaukee thought about this and thought
maybe you're not gonna want to have this on your back all the time so what they
did was let me see take this off here on the back the backpack part of it is
actually removable so there's just a little button you're gonna push and then
this is removable so you're gonna lose kind of the storage places for this but
what you gain is you've got this little hook that you can hang on the side of
your saw on a 2x4 out on the jobsite wherever you're working I think it would
have been nice if they would have made it three and a half inches that way it
could have sat over the top of a set of sawhorses but I guess out here on site
or in my shop I should say maybe I'm just gonna set it set it down on the
ground and hook it up to my tool just like any other shop vac I guess make
another cut here
so there you go guys I'm pretty impressed I think that does a good job I
don't know how long it's gonna run on a 12o removing this heavy dust or how long
it's gonna last I got to put it through its paces a little bit more here in the
job site shop which reminds me let's get back to the real reason we came out here
which was to clean the shop so my dad fool you I've used this way more times
than he has he might know his tools but I know this
one better so let's get to vacuuming
wait a minute this is my dad's shop not mine it's not my mess he can clean it up
dang it it was worth a try anyway but I suppose I probably should get back to
actually cleaning the shop like I intended to do I'll drop some links down

deep dark skin.
So first being our Ruby kisses mineral powder in a new and improved
formula. These two are

this is ebony have swatches on my arm as I talked to you guys about this.
So you guys can see these for five dollars. I really don't think that you can beat the price
These are super smooth super life. They're not super super dark
So you're not going to get that color payoff like the Sasha or the Mac embark?
But if you're my skin tone and maybe a shade darker
These will work as a contour and they're they're matte. So they don't have any shimmer
I tend to like my contour powders and bronzers was a little bit of shimmer, but the odds are against us
We don't have a lot of options
Unfortunately, hopefully these cosmetic companies will change that but these are nice. So these are the Ruby kisses
Mineral powders and these are I guess powder foundations. Um, but I say you can use them as
Contour powders in bronzing powders. The next one is super cheap. I
Found this at the beauty supply, but the color path is beautiful. This is very shimmery
This is a clean color bronzer in the color Luna
Super shimmery, and it's very warm
So if you like your red tones, if you like that the tone that covergirl Queen gives off. This is your girl

I used to use evany I think but evany is not as dark
As I like it to be and so I'm so glad they extended their Shane ranging this baby right here
Abbey in the star and blush palette volume one
super rich, it reminds me of
Mac's sketch or

It's another blush by Mac that's super dark brown, but it's more purple
This one is more Brown super warm get in there and contour with it should just chorus my little double chin out
Honey, and I go in here. This is what I use to contour
I wouldn't bronze with this because it is very rich and it's on the darker side. So
The abbey color from the Sahara Bush palette this blush palette already about 20 bucks
I'd say it's worth it because you have your highlighters and your blush in here. And then this one this is just a winner

Next is not a powder but like honorable mention seriously
This is the donessa Meyer X beauty cover cream or bronzing cream in the shade deep
Y'all will see this watch but god it's creamy it's just bomb for those of you who like to go in and

This shade as you can see from the swatch has the gold shimmers in it?
It's warm like um Ben but it has gold shimmers in it
So it's gonna give you that
Illumination that you love is gonna give you the warmth and you're going to be able to contour with it
So you cannot beat that you just you just can't beat it

But I was a little bit worried about trying it. ... And I also thought about, maybe, starting
a different channel ... and those sorts of things. So, I did poll you guys on my community tab and the last
I looked at it, we were at about a 50-50 on people who were cool with it and people who weren't
so cool with it. ... But in the comments below, I did see that a lot of you who voted no also said that
you were fine with whatever I decided to do. So, this is what I'm deciding to do. This channel, Stephanie
Bethany will remain around for autism videos that I plan to be doing every Thursday at 4pm.
And then I've made two new channels. One is Stephanie Speaks, and that will be ... Saturdays at 4pm
weekly, I'll be releasing a new video on a Christian topic. And then the other channel is Life with Steph Beth,
and that's going to be on Tuesdays at 4pm. I'll be releasing a new video that's going to be doing
with my weight loss journey, with my vlogs, ... fun stuff I just want to do for fun, all that kind of stuff like that.

Jazz Jennings' gender confirmation surgery and the preparation leading up to it has been heavily featured on this season of TLC's I Am Jazz.
On tonight's episode, Jazz undergoes the bottom surgery and faces a complication during her recovery.
The description for tonight's episode, called "It's a Girl!" reads "Jazz's doctors perform her groundbreaking bottom surgery while her family anxiously awaits news; with the OK from her doctors, Jazz is released to recover in a hotel; days later, Jazz suffers complications and is rushed back into the operating room.
In a preview clip released in advance of the episode, Jazz is released from the hospital in a wheelchair.
In an interview voiceover, she says "Getting out of the wheelchair, the leg thing snaps down and I feel a pop and with it, I felt this crazy pain… I just don't know what's going on." During an interview with E! News, Jazz teased that the major complication will be shown in the episode and that "it's gonna get dark." The complications were not permanent, however, as ABC News reported she was on her way to a full recovery when they checked in 9 weeks after the surgery.
Ahead of the season 5 premiere, Jazz spoke out about the issues she faced leading up to and following the surgery that confirmed her as female.
In an interview with Nightline's Juju Chang for ABC News, she revealed that after the surgery "There was just an unfortunate event and setback where things did come apart, and there was a complication.
I had to come back in for another procedure, but it was just all part of the journey.
The good thing though is that it was only cosmetic and external so it wasn't too dramatic.".
She also faced complications before the surgery even happened.
Jazz told Chang that her doctor asked her to lose 30 pounds.
She then had a hard time finding surgeons who were willing to perform the gender confirmation surgery because she was "such a difficult case" because the hormone blockers and hormone therapy she started when she was eleven prevented growth, so there wasn't "enough tissue to work with when it came to the surgery.".

Jennings' journey ultimately led her to surgeon Dr.
Marci Bowers.
During the season 5 premiere, Dr.
Bowers explained to Jazz and her parents that it would be "a breakthrough in terms of the surgery in being able to harvest this peritoneal lining." She assured them that because it was a difficult case, they would make sure everything was set up perfectly in advance of the bottom surgery but said there were still risks of "hemorrhage inside" or "injury to the intestine.".

On Instagram, Jazz shared a photo of herself in her hospital bed holding a teddy bear.
In the caption, she wrote "This episode is going to be the most dramatic yet as I end up experiencing a major complication.
Going into the procedure, we knew it would be difficult since I had a lack of genital tissue due to my early suppression.
Ultimately, I end up having to face one of the biggest challenges of my life.".

The comedy group aired a pretend Studio 10 ad during yesterday's episode of Radio Chaser, peppering Kennerley's controversial quotes about Indigenous people with a fake Chaser voiceover

The dig comes after things got very heated on Studio 10 last October, when Kennerley blasted one of The Chaser comedians for the group's prank on her friend Alan Jones
In a video released online, Chaser member Charles Firth was shown driving around Sydney and projecting an image on iconic buildings including Parliament House and the Opera House
The message said "ADVERTISE HERE: Call Alan," and then listed Alan Jones' personal mobile number
Firth appeared on Studio 10 the next day, only to be lambasted by Kennerley, who demanded he give out his own personal phone number on air
"So let's get down to basics," Kennerley told him. "You hate people with wealth … And you work for the ABC? And who funds the ABC?" "Everyone," a confused Firth replied
