OnePlus 6T vs Note 9: In-Depth Camera Test Comparison - Duration: 10:40.Hi guys, it's KJ the MiTechGuy here and as promised, I have another camera comparison
involving the OnePlus 6T.
Today, I'll be comparing it to the great camera system found on the Samsung Galaxy
Note 9.
In this video, I'll be comparing the cameras in various lighting conditions, both indoors
and outdoors, and I'll also look at the video and audio qualities of both phones.
Make sure to stick around to the end of the video to see how the OnePlus 6T's night
mode compares to the dual aperture found on the Note 9.
Huge shoutout to Xcentz for sponsoring this video.
Let's get right into it.
The Galaxy Note 9 has a dual-12 megapixel camera setup.
Using Samsung's new Scene Optimization and Flaw Detection, the Note 9 will be able to
optimize different image properties for a given scene, and it also can see if an image
was blurry, or someone was blinking.
The main, wide-angle camera can automatically vary between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures, whereas
the telephoto camera is a fixed f/2.4.
The second telephoto camera allows for 2x optical zoom, and helps with those portrait
style pictures.
The OnePlus 6T houses a main 16 Megapixel sensor that has an aperture of f/1.7.
Its second camera is 20 Megapixels, but has the same aperture and focal length as its
main sensor.
OnePlus says the 2nd camera helps out with portrait mode shots.
Both phones are capable of shooting 4K video at 30 and 60 frames per second.
In terms of the front cameras of both phones, the OnePlus 6T's 16 megapixel camera actually
has double the megapixel count of the 8 megapixel selfie camera on the Note 9.
These selfie cameras can both record 1080p video, while the Note 9 is capable of shooting
1440p video.
As I get into the side-by-sides, know that I am going to start off with images in great
lighting, and then I will look at images shot in progressively worse lighting conditions
until I get to night time.
And Finally, I will look at the video and audio qualities of both phones.
This first image shows how high quality both cameras are.
Both are very detailed, but both cameras processed the images a bit differently.
The 6T's photo looks to show a little bit more contrast, while the Note 9's image
is brighter, but actually is slightly over-exposed.
When I changed to the Note 9's telephoto lens, we can see that it simply captures more
details than the 6T's 2x software zoom, as expected.
That being said, the 6T's 16 Megapixel sensor was still able to capture a good amount of
detail.
Here, the Note 9 exposed the shot much better, and I actually think it took the more true
to life picture of the two.
The 6T's image is brighter, and has more punchy colors, but in my opinion, the colors
are a bit too punchy.
Again, both pictures were great though.
This next image shot in great lighting show almost identical levels of detail in each
image.
Again, the 6T has the more saturated photo.
You have to decide for yourself whether you prefer the punchy colors on the 6T, or the
subdued, but more natural colors of the Note 9.
Both phones are able to take portrait mode pictures.
Because of the help of the telephoto lens, the Note 9 is able to do a better job with
defining edges.
The 6T on the other hand, is able to take the wider-angled photo and is also able to
maintain much more of the colors in the background.
In terms of details, I do think the Note 9 is able to pick up more throughout the subject's
face and clothes.
Both phones also have very high quality selfie cameras.
The 6T's 16 Megapixels clearly pick up more details on my face than the Note 9's selfie
camera does and is able to pick up a lot more of the colors throughout the image.
But the saturation levels are really making my skin look orange.
When I switched to the portrait modes, again I noticed that the 6T's image is more detailed,
but makes my skin look orange.
Both lost the colors of the background and had trouble with my hair, but both took pretty
great pictures in my opinion.
To nobody's surprise, these two high quality 2018 camera systems performed excellent when
the lighting was great.
But let's see how the two camera systems perform when the lighting gets more challenging.
Both cameras have terrific HDR capabilities, and this typical very challenging shot was
captured very nicely by both camera systems.
Both did a really good job of not overexposing the skylight itself, while maintaining all
of the details in the foreground.
Again, the 6T's image is overall brighter, but is also a bit oversaturated, making the
white ceiling look yellowish and other colors in the frame look slightly unnatural.
This is a challenging shot because of the sun shining through the trees in the background,
but both phones handled this situation beautifully.
The HDR on both phones is really impressing me, and I can't really say anything bad
about either image.
Just keep in mind the types of colors you prefer as I continue the side-by-sides.
This shot was taken at the Samsung booth at CES where there is a lot going on with a lot
of different light sources.
Both cameras did pretty well.
I would say that the Note 9 did the better job of not only maintaining all of the details
in the foreground, but also exposing all of the different light sources.
The colors and details in the lighting fixtures are better preserved in the Note 9's image.
In this image, I wanted to see how the cameras handled direct sunlight.
In this case, although both were able to keep the foreground properly exposed, the 6T was
able to handle the light from the sun significantly better, which is noticeable by how much smaller
the sun appears in the 6T's image as opposed to that in the Note 9's image.
Now I will really test the cameras' capabilities in very low lighting.
The Note 9 has its large F/1.5 aperture that it automatically switches to in these conditions
whereas the OnePlus 6T has its night mode that I was able to switch to.
This image was taken in the automatic modes of both phones.
As you can see, the larger aperture that the Note 9 uses here is able to obtain more information
and helps the Note 9 pull out more of the colors throughout the image while doing a
good job of exposing the neon sign.
When I shifted to the night mode of the 6T, it clearly made a huge difference.
During the 3 seconds it takes the 6T to capture the image, it is able to really pull out a
lot of the details and colors that even the F/1.5 aperture of the Note 9 was unable to
pick up.
This shot was taken with the night mode on in the 6T, and it shows that you and the subject
have to be perfectly still for it to execute correctly.
It was able to pick up a ton of information, but the subject's head and feet look blurred
due to some very slight movements by me or the subject.
The Note 9 was just able to capture this image basically instantly.
The Note 9 is able to take very natural-looking night shots, while also doing a good job of
keeping image noise to a minimum.
But the 6T's night mode, when the situation is right and everything is stationary, is
really able to pull in much more of the colors and details than the Note 9 is able to.
The question then becomes if you're going to take the extra couple of seconds to switch
the 6T to night mode and then wait again as it has to keep its shutter open for 3 seconds.
As I now shift into the video qualities of both phones, know that both phones are able
to capture 4K video at 60 frames per second, but I set both to 4K at 60 frames per second
because that is what this video is uploaded at.
If you have watched my other OnePlus 6T camera comparisons, you probably already know what
I'm going to say.
I have no idea why OnePlus elected to make the 4K video of the 6T so saturated.
Samsung used to have this problem, but now the Note 9 shows that it is very possible
to have visually appealing colors without making everything look fake.
I should mention that both phones do have some really impressive image stabilization,
but it is so difficult to look past how saturated the 6T's video is.
I really hope OnePlus fixes it with a software update because it is just way too much color.
In terms of the front video qualities of both phones, I'd say that the colors actually
look pretty good on both.
I'm impressed by the level of detail and clarity both front cameras have in their videos.
The OnePlus 6T is also able to really stabilize the video, making it look like I'm walking
with the phone on a gimbal.
Both phones even do a good job of changing the exposure as I walked through shadows and
harsher lighting.
The big issue with the 6T in this case is the audio.
The audio on the 6T sounds way too over-processed to the point where my voice sounds very tinny.
The Note 9, on the other hand, actually captured some impressive, naturally sounding audio.
Before I give my final thoughts and feelings about these two camera systems, I wanted to
talk to you a little bit about another cool product by Xcentz, who made this video possible.
No matter what devices you own, you probably have that one place where you have to plug
in a lot of different electronics at once.
Whether you're plugging in a monitor, your phone, or tablet, I can confidently recommend
the Xcentz Surge Protector Power Strip.
It has 8 AC Outlets and 2 USB ports.
You can plug your devices into it knowing that it has overload protection, meaning that
it can automatically stop the flow of power to the connected devices in the event that
there is a surge of power coming through that specific wall outlet.
The power strip itself is made with very high quality materials, and in my opinion, even
looks good enough to have it exposed on a desk or mounted on a wall.
You can use the discount code down below to receive 20% off of your order.
The link will be in the description.
I'm actually pretty surprised with how well the OnePlus 6T seemed to hold its ground against
the Note 9, which has one of the best camera systems on any phone right now.
The 6T has very impressive HDR capabilities, and although its night mode isn't the best
out right now, it still has the potential to take great looking pictures without a flash.
I didn't make this video to bash on one phone's camera system or the other, I simply
wanted to show you how the two phones compared head-to-head, so you can see for yourself
whether or not the Note 9's price is justified.
Because you have to keep in mind that the Note 9 costs almost twice as much as the 6T
does.
Well, that is all I had to talk about in this video.
If you haven't already, make sure you're subscribed and have the notification bell clicked because

Cosplayers Complaining About Instagram's Algorithm | Dis-COS-sion #3 - Duration: 15:27.This video is brought to you by my supporters on Patreon.
Hi guys!
I'm here with a video on a
COS-troversial topic!
Oh, that was lame.
On a controversial topic in the
cosplay community. Or
I'd probably consider it a more
misunderstood topic.
Maybe?
And I think a lot of it comes from not
quite understanding what we're talking about,
what the problem is.
This video is all about
why you see
cosplayers complain
about
the Instagram algorithm as much as they do.
Let's break it down here.
So you have these platforms,
where when they started out they were great!
Because you'd post things and people who
were your friends on Facebook or
followed you on Instagram, they would all see
your posts.
Normally! It usually came
in chronological order.
So if they didn't see it, it's probably because they weren't on at that time.
But now, they've all changed
to just not show you them at all
if they don't feel like it.
And that's kind of where the problem comes in. Because now
creators
that were once having their
posts seen by a pretty large majority of their
following and audience, suddenly aren't
having them seen by, like,
anyone.
At all.
This also requires a little bit of back tracking.
And the reason why reach
has just suddenly been killed a ton on
nearly every platform is because
companies are like "ooh we can make money from those
creators by,
you know, getting rid of everybody seeing their stuff.
And then saying hey you want people to see your stuff again? Pay us."
And that's not cheap.
And it's successful enough because people who aren't
small creators and even large creators,
just without them in the equation.. businesses pay
tons of money to have each post seen
by, like, tons of people and
they have giant marketing budgets. So it's not a problem for them
half the time. But it is a huge problem for people who are
very small. We don't have the money that giant businesses have.
Instagram just stopped caring about their creators.
Much like Facebook and YouTube.
Which kind of sucks because it's
those individual creators and the uniqueness that they brought
to the platform that helped make it what it was.
So now that you hopefully understand what's happening behind the scenes
and why creators are annoyed with this, I'm going
to go ahead and answer
or reply to some of the very common comments
we all get whenever we talk about this.
But before getting into that, I just want to clarify that,
for the sake of this video, I'm talking specifically about cosplayers and
specifically about Instagram.
So the first thing we usually get is: You care too
much about likes. When these
cosplayers are complaining about
the algorithm or asking you to go like this post
or their post not getting enough likes,
it's not that you specifically aren't liking the post or
people aren't liking the post. It's more
their posts aren't even being shown to people.
So a lot of creators have business accounts on Instagram.
Even when they're on the smaller end. It's not uncommon for someone to
switch from a personal account to a business account,
because business accounts give you some insights. Basically it
shows you how many likes you get, how many saves you get, how many shares you get,
how many people have seen your posts, where they're seeing it from,
what times are most popular, what days are most popular,
where most of your demographic is coming from,
stuff like that. So
when they're talking about the algorithm,
it's more that they're seeing when they check these things that it's
being shown to almost no one.
There's accounts that have thousands and thousands of
and it's being shown to maybe a few hundred.
Maybe!
So it's not necessarily that people aren't interacting with our posts.
It's that people aren't even being given the option to.
And this is because Instagram has changed the algorithm to
no longer show you things in chronological order.
Instead they kind of pick for you!
Whether it's because they actually think that maybe you actually like this,
or because they want you to see this, or it's because somebody's
paying them to show you this.
Even on a consumer end, by the way. As me who follows other people,
I follow them because I want to see their stuff. If I didn't want to see their stuff
I'd unfollow them. Instagram I don't need ya to,
like, ghost them for me.
If I want to do that, I can do that myself. But of course,
they don't care about that. They don't care about either end of this
situation. All they care about is if they're making money or not.
Next comment, that's kind of attached to this question or comment:
You want too much attention.
Or: You care too much about getting attention. Or:
Attention is the wrong reason to be doing this. And it's dumb.
It's dumb to think that anybody who posts on social media
does so not wanting attention. That's the
entire point
of social media! And it's dumb to think that anybody who
creates something doesn't want it to be seen.
That's not true and it's so unrealistic. Even if
the people try to say "I don't do it for the attention. I don't care about the attention.
I do it for myself and because I love it." They still
want attention.
Everybody who does something wants to be recognized
for their work. And wants to be told by someone,
at least one other person,
that it was a good job. Especially that they like it.
People want people to like their creations, their artwork, whatever they
do. In this case: cosplays!
And it's not a bad thing.
Everybody wants to act like wanting attention is such
a disgusting thought to have or
a horrible thing and it's not! It's
It's normal. It's natural. Humans are social creatures.
We want and seek attention and conversation
and human interaction. And no one should be shamed
for that. Now, I'm not saying that it's
always the main reason that people do things or that it's
never the main reason people do things.
Everyone has different reasons for what they do. I'm just saying
that it's usually, probably, most likely, part of the reason.
Or at least a reason. It doesn't necessarily
have to be the most important thing.
But it is a thing and it's normal.
And it's okay.
So stop getting mad at your favorite cosplayers when they get upset when
no one's seeing a project that they put
so much time, so much effort and so much money into.
It's most definitely not the worst or most biggest problem in the world.
But it doesn't feel too great and they're allowed to express
that. Kind of continuing on with that thought,
is the next comment of:
You talk about it too much.
Okay. First things first.
People are allowed to vent.
It's their social media, if they feel like
whining and complaining about something,
they're allowed to. And
the second reason they're probably talking about it,
is because it's not something they can change or
fix on their own.
Yes. The biggest problems with Instagram are
due to Instagram itself and there's not much we can do about them.
But it's not 100% impossible to work around.
But that work around requires help from you guys!
The viewers. The followers. The fans who like their cosplays.
And that's why they talk about it. The most interaction a post gets
the more likely it is to be shown to more
people. A post kind of starts out at this weird base line that
nobody really knows what it is. It's just..
At this point it could just be a random number generator. Who knows!
We don't know. There's just this weird random base line.
So if the small (very small)
percentage that that post is shown to interacts with it,
Instagram goes "Oh! Oh people are liking this. Okay. We'll show it to a little bit more." And if those
people like it too they're like "Alright, we'll show it to a little bit more of your followers."
And so on. But none of this happens if people don't
interact with the post from the start.
Now you see why they complain, right? Because not everyone has the time
to like every post that pops up on their feed and not everyone might like the content
that pops up on their feed. They
might like the cosplayer but they might not
like that specific cosplay or that specific photo.
Which kind of sucks. Because then people who might of liked that photo
will never see it.
Ever.
Next common comment: You care too much about numbers.
Like it or not, in this day and age
(and forever and always),
numbers are important. They've always been important. You just
haven't really physically seen the numbers
written out for you anywheres
until now.
They don't have to be everything but they are important.
And caring about it is not necessarily a bad thing.
Like I said early, numbers have always been important in
so many different fields. Again, you just haven't
seen it written out for you until now.
Examples are TV networks! They've always cared about their viewer-ships.
Shows got cancelled because they didn't get enough people watching them.
Stores care about their sales numbers and
the customer numbers too and their advertising numbers. How many people are going to
see this ad?
And now all businesses on social media want
bigger numbers because that's
marketing. And like it or not,
cosplay has the potential to be
a source of income and for some people already is.
So of course there is a need for numbers. Yes.
I will admit there is a point where
caring about numbers becomes
unhealthy. At the same time social media has
kind of evolved past the point of just
being a place where you share with just your friends or
just your family and
individuals can become businesses.
And businesses have always cared about numbers.
but they've never been shamed for it. Because that's
Business. And now that they're
individuals and you can see them and see that they are this
person who is a potentially relatable and very likable person, you're like
this is weird that they care so much about numbers. Even though it's
really not because it makes sense from the business perspective of things.
It's, I guess, hard for people to understand that
this person is a business and it's weird
but it's a thing.
So onto my
"closing statement". How can you help
a creator?
So first things first. I should say and clarify just
for a lot of the things talked about in this video, when it comes
to the Instagram algorithm, is
that nobody really 100% knows
exactly how it works.
Instagram and most social media keeps
they way their algorithm works a pretty
big locked up secret. And
they don't let anybody know. Unless
you're a very fancy business with a lot of money on you're marketing
team and they pay Instagram to tell them and then sign
a bunch of documents or legal stuff saying
that they can't ever disclose any of this information
to anyone ever.
But sometimes that information gets leaked out.
So those "rumors"
and trial and error is where
most of us kind of
figure out what works and
what doesn't when it comes to Instagram.
And this is how we've kind of figured out
how you can help us. So first things first,
it's obvious: liking posts! The best thing is
to like that creators post every time you see their post.
Even if you don't necessarily like the picture. I know
that kind of sucks. People like to show
creators what they do like to see from them and what they don't
via likes and interactions. But
Instagram has made that kind of hard.
Because if you skip out on liking some of that creator's posts or
cosplayer's post, you just might not see their posts at all anymore.
Instagram might go "Oh! You're not really interacting with their post?
We're just not going to show you any ever again. Ever! Ever again!
Nope. They're gone. You've basically unfollowed them.
We made you unfollow them.
But it still shows that you're following them." Save posts!
So this one, rumor has it,
is probably the most important interaction you can give a creator.
This is again: rumor has it.
Saving posts are important. I
don't know if it's the most important. It's just rumored to be the most important.
Comments! Comments is where it gets a little bit tricky.
Because again, rumor has it, that emojis don't
count. And actually, apparently, comments have to be
more than 3 or 4 words long.
And very common/repetitive comments kind of stop
counting too. It's really weird.
And complicated. And no one's 100%
sure how it works, again.
It's a bit of a guessing game and trial and error. But this is
what people have kind of figured
what works. In general
I'm pretty sure than any type of comment is
still better than none.
Shares!
Whether you knew it or not, Instagram tracks shares! And creators, if they
have a business account, they can see how many times their posts have been shared.
And the more a post gets shared
the more Instagram will share it with others.
Because Instagram goes "Hey! A lot of people are already sharing this post. And these people
want other people to see it and they like seeing it
and their friends like seeing it, so we
gonna go ahead and also share your post." And then
it also helps in the sense that
posts getting shared lets people who follow you see their posts too and
potentially find a new creator they like.
Look at their stories! So when you watch stories,
apparently, you want to watch them all the way through.
Like let it time out. Not necessarily click through.
At least not for the videos. I'm not really sure if they same thing applies
to a photo.
I don't know. This is.. This is hard. Instagram doesn't tell us this stuff okay.
But yes, if you want to see more of their stuff
stories! Stories already have a better reach than posts.
Which is probably why you see
so many creators posting something and then sharing that they posted something
in their story. And then
lastly: Turn on notification. Because
there are notifications on Instagram. So you
can get a little "badoop" at the top of your phone screen
whenever that creator posts anything.
That just makes sure you don't miss their post if Instagram feels like hiding it from you for some reason.
So hopefully this helps! I don't know if this is always going to be the case.
Instagram constantly changes it's algorithm.
Whenever we think we got it figured out and we find our little, uh,
ways to cheat the algorithm,
Instagram goes "LOL! Nope! We gon' change that."
And then messes it all up and we gotta start all over again.
It's really hard to tell what they change and when they change it.
All we know is that interaction is good for posts.
So hopefully this video taught you something and
explained why creators are frustrated.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
Have a lovely day!
And engage with your favorite
creators. Bye!
This foundation is like
3? 5?
shades too light for my.. 3. Not 5.
That's a bit drastic. But like 3 shades too light
compared to the rest of me. You can kind of see. Ugh.
I'm just going to hide my neck.
Don't look at it. Don't look at it!
I had to be so high up.
Normally I sit way down here off camera.
I'm not even standing. I had to put my chair as high as it could go
and kneel on that to get to be
this tall so that you guys can't see the mess
that is behind me, on my table,
from me working on a bunch of projects right now.
*beeping*
I had to turn off a beeping alarm.
Oh my god, I almost just broke my ankle.
Games? Sports places?
The places where they play.. I don't.. I'm not a sports person..
As you can tell. What is..
What are those places called? Arenas?
That's not right!
Oh my god, my knees hurt. Oh god. Oh!
Oo! I forgot how to walk! I forgot how to have straight legs!
Oh god. See I'm so much shorter now. Look at this.
Ow!
*squeaky chair noise*
And you can hear my chair squeak. Squeak. Squeak. Squeak.

北美館│2018台北雙年展 台灣千里步道協會│TB2018 Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association - Duration: 3:19.The Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association
was founded in 2006,
and was originally founded to assist
with the linking of routes for cycling
and hiking around the island.
After the round island routes had been completed, we gradually advanced into
the maintenance and revitalization these routes.
When it came to maintaining these routes,
especially ones located
in close proximity to urban areas,
we discovered a rather serious issue.
People were using these routes,
as a means to get close and familiarize themselves with nature,
but the routes and hiking trails, were starting to damage the environment.
So starting from 2012,
we've been advocating for zero growth
in terms of cement hiking trails, while also attempting to maintain all natural hiking trails.
We have also trained citizen scientists
in the field of trail construction and maintenance.
We are very proud
to participate in
the TMFA Biennial.
Traditionally,
when people thought of environmental activism related to hiking trails, the assumption was,
it was conducted outdoors,
in the wilderness.
By bringing presenting our activism
in an art museum,
this also gives people,
who lack the means to venture outdoors
to experience
the outdoors,
through an artistic perspective.
This obviously presented a challenge to us in the curating process.
We had to find
a way,
to present everything we have achieved since 2006; the things we've done in the past twelve years.
For example, advocating for hand crafted hiking trails,
and the things we experienced while implementing our projects.
Also the interactions we had between nature,
and the trails.
So if
members of the audience are able view our exhibit,
we in total have four videos being presented here,
one of which is a 24 hour recording of a trail.
The video shows what species aside from humans,
make use of the trail.
And it also shows
the vegetation,
and animals of the forest.
So as we said earlier,
we are really happy to be invited,
to participate in this year's Biennial.
Not only were we given a chance to exhibit our achievements indoors,
but we also have the opportunity
to lead the audience into the outdoors.
We'll be taking them on guided tours,
which include
trails that were hand crafted by us.
I feel that these trails are truly works of nature,
which were later
augmented by our volunteers,
which ultimately became art co-produced by humans and nature.
And everyone participating,
are again witnessing this co-produced art.
We also hope that,
whether you have come to join the walking tour, participate in crafting trails,
or simply enjoy spending time hiking.
Don't forget the beauty of these eco-craft trail,
and treat the mountains and nature
with respect.

Millennial Millionaire: How To Retire Early - Duration: 2:18.Automation, while it's a great place to start,
I think that it actually holds people back
from reaching financial independence because
in reality automation is really just the
status quo, and it increases the chance that
you're going to be complacent.
The whole strategy to reach financial
independence as fast as possible,
is that you want to make and save and then
invest as much money as you can. And so the
simple idea is that you should be investing
every bonus that you get. You should be
investing more when you make side hustle
income. You should be investing more when you
get that $50 check from your grandparents for
your birthday. That's money that you should be
investing in order to reach financial
independence. And automation, it's a great
start. You know, if you're saving 5 percent in
your 401(k), congratulations. That's better
than most people. But that's not going to be
enough. And so one of the things that I
recommend, a simple strategy really, is no
matter how much you're saving, say in your
401(k) or your IRA or your savings account,
try to increase it at least 1 percent every 30
days. So that's one way that automation is not
enough because if you just automate your
savings, you're going to be saving a
consistent amount, but you're not going to be
saving as much as you can. So an extra 1
percent every 30 days, by the end of one year,
you're going to be saving at least 12 percent
more. After three years, your savings rate is
going to easily, even if you're starting from
zero, is going to be over 35 percent. And if
you've gone from 0 to 35 percent, you've
literally cut 25 years probably off the time
it'll take you to retire. And so I recommend
that automation is a starting point. It's your
baseline, but in addition to that, I recommend
you spend five minutes a day. I do this in the
morning. I just do it with my coffee. I spend
five minutes a day, and I just try to increase
my investing or savings rate and invest any
additional money that I'm making.
And that is how you fast-track financial freedom.

Boris Johnson claims the PM will demand a 'freedom clause' from the EU - Duration: 13:11.Boris Johnson ramped up pressure on Theresa May today by insisting she must get a 'freedom clause' in the Irish border backstop
The former foreign secretary jubilantly seized on news that the PM wants to overhaul her Brexit deal, saying a time limit or unilateral exit clause could 'defuse the booby trap'
But he warned that mean rewriting the text of the Withdrawal Agreement - something the EU has so far been adamant cannot happen
The intervention comes as Mrs May desperately struggles to hold her Cabinet together and fend off a Remainer bid to force a Brexit delay in crunch Commons votes tomorrow
No10 is pleading with MPs not to back an amendment tabled by Labour's Yvette Cooper that would pave the way for a law to extend the Article 50 process
Other changes are trying to rule out a no-deal Brexit, and stage a series of 'indicative' votes to work out what approach would gain a majority in the Commons
Mrs May seems to be pinning her hopes on amendments tabled by senior Tories including 1922 committee chairman Sir Graham Brady and ex-minister Andrew Murrison that would demand a rewriting of the controversial Irish border backstop - something Mrs May could take to Brussels as concrete evidence of the will of MPs
Sir Graham said his proposal would give 'enormous firepower' to Mrs May in talks with the EU, but insisted any concessions must be 'legally binding'
'I don't think anybody is going to accept something which is just warm words,' he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Sir Graham said his amendment was drawn up after meetings with ministers including Mrs May, and he believed the DUP would support it
Asked if it had Government backing he said: 'I hope so.I don't know so.The amendment was born out of a number of conversations I had with colleagues including members of the Government, including the Prime Minister
'I had also spoken to people in the DUP too and I'm hoping that the way in which the amendment is crafted can attract that very broad support and if we can win the vote on my amendment then I think it gives the Prime Minister enormous firepower
' The plan being pushed by Labour's Yvette Cooper and former Tory minister Nick Boles is designed to stop a damaging no deal Brexit, as it would postpone the March 29 leaving date by nine months if a deal is not secured by February 26
But appealing for MPs to shun the Cooper amendment, a senior No10 source said: 'Leaving aside the constitutional concerns around the Cooper Bill, it is clear from Yvette Cooper's comments that backing her Bill means signing a blank cheque when it comes to delaying Brexit
'It could mean Brexit is delayed for nine months, a year, or more.It also opens the door to Brexit not happening at all
'The warning came amid signs that Tory ministers who threatened to quit over a No Deal were stepping back from the brink
Tory former minister Nick Boles, a leading supporter of Ms Cooper's plan, told Today there was a 'great deal of support among ministers and, indeed, Cabinet ministers' and they had been pressing for a free vote on the amendment
'This is the last chance for Parliament, this is probably the only opportunity that Parliament is going to have to intervene in this process, to take control,' he said
'If we don't seize the moment tomorrow afternoon then we are at grave risk of just driving off the edge on March 29 without really wanting to, and when there might be a compromise we could achieve if we just had a few more months
' The PM is seeking to see off the threat of a Tory rebellion, and the possibility of ministerial resignations, by considering whether to hold a 'meaningful vote' on Brexit within the next fortnight
A dozen pro-European ministers including Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd and Justice Secretary David Gauke reportedly held a conference call in which they agreed such a move would help defer a potential rebellion
Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Mr Johnson called on the PM publicly to confirm a 'change of heart' on the withdrawal deal
He said: 'That backstop is dead, rejected by the biggest ever parliamentary majority; and that is why I hope and pray that I am right about the intentions of Number 10
'If we mean it, if we really try, I have no doubt that the EU will give us the Freedom Clause we need
'And if the PM secures that change - a proper UK-sized perforation in the fabric of the backstop itself - I have no doubt that she will have the whole country full-throatedly behind her
' Chancellor Philip Hammond and Mrs May's effective deputy David Lidington have urged Remainer ministers to keep their powder dry rather than joining the rebellion this week
Yesterday Mr Lidington argued this week's vote was not the 'final decision point' and insisted MPs will have another 'meaningful vote' on Mrs May's deal next month once she has been back to Brussels
He wrote in the Observer: 'If Parliament wishes to avoid No Deal, I have no doubt it will find ways to express a view in the coming weeks
' The source said: 'We don't think there will be fireworks this week.I don't think there will be mass resignations
'People are working hard to make sure amendments go down that keep the party together
' The Cooper amendment has won the backing of nearly ten Tory MPs – all voted Remain in 2016 and several back a second referendum
Labour is also expected to whip its MPs to support it.Yesterday Ms Cooper told the Andrew Marr show that her Bill 'gives Parliament the option to decide how long [the delay] should be' and that it was 'not about blocking Brexit'
Under her proposal, Mrs May would be forced to ask the EU for an extension to Article 50 if she fails to secure a deal
Commons is expected to vote tomorrow on amendments including Yvette Cooper's.The Labour MP is pictured on The Andrew Marr Show on Sunday WHAT IT DOES: Forces ministers to extend Article 50 beyond March 29 to stop No Deal
WHOSE PLAN? Labour's Yvette Cooper, former Tory ministers Nick Boles and Sir Oliver Letwin
HOW IT WORKS: Ministers lose the power to decide what is debated on February 5, which passes to backbench MPs
Miss Cooper proposes a law forcing Mrs May to ask for a delay on Brexit if No Deal is agreed by February 26
COULD IT SUCCEED? With enough votes from Tory rebels, yes.WHAT IT DOES: Give control over Parliamentary business to MPs
WHOSE PLAN? Dominic Grieve QC, former attorney general and ardent Remainer, and MPs who want a second referendum
HOW IT WORKS: Government loses power over the Commons every Tuesday from February 12 to March 26 so backbench MPs could vote on Brexit
Could delay Article 50 or change the deal to include a customs union or second referendum
COULD IT SUCCEED? Could pass with the support of pro-Remain Tories, Labour backing
WHAT IT DOES: Demands changes to the deal and hints at a second referendum.HOW IT WORKS: Ministers must let Parliament discuss No Deal, and proposes staying in a permanent customs union
If that fails, it suggests a second referendum.COULD IT SUCCEED? Highly unlikely, because it won't win support from Tory rebels
A senior source said: 'It is clear from Yvette Cooper's (pictured of The Andrew Marr show) comments that backing her Bill means signing a blank cheque' WHAT IT DOES: Proposes replacing the Northern Ireland backstop with 'alternative arrangements' to avoid a hard border
Also supports leaving with a deal.WHOSE PLAN? Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee
HOW IT WORKS: Allows Mrs May to go to Brussels and say the EU must make concessions on the backstop or get rid of it
COULD IT SUCCEED? Only if selected by Speaker Bercow – who could ignore it.WHAT IT DOES: Stops the UK leaving without a deal
WHOSE PLAN: Former Tory Cabinet minister Caroline Spelman and Labour MP Jack Dromey
