I'm in the industrial estate of Alginet, my town, in the province of Valencia.

Here there are many factories and companies that produce many different things.

Well today from here, I'm going to talk about one of the most peculiar and interesting traditions

of Valencia, which is called "el esmorzaret", a Valencian word that we can translate

as lunch or small lunch.

Although you will see that it is everything but little.

We will also learn how to use some quantifiers.

Here, in this industrial estate, works many people.

Everyone stops more or less between ten and eleven in the morning to eat a

sandwich, what is called lunch here, or in Valencian "l'esmorzaret".

All workers, well, and those who are not workers too, have to eat,

but almost everyone here eats this lunch in bars.

Many companies only work from Monday to Friday, but some also work on Saturdays

in the morning.

In this estate few companies close Friday afternoon.

Almost no company works on Sundays.

And here I can assure you that no company makes robots.

Well, the truth is, I can not assure it, but I don't think so, I do not know.

The workers of this estate and the really, practically all the workers of all

Valencia, usually stop between ten and eleven to eat a sandwich, what they call

lunch.

And what is that lunch?

Lunch has become a ceremony in Valencia.

It is not a simple tradition, it is an event social that Valencians can not tet

pass.

If you work, you have lunch.

Well, and if you do not work, you also have it.

On weekdays we have more or less lunch between 9 and 11 in the morning, and

Saturdays is a tradition to be with friends for lunch, maybe a little more

late.

In Spain it is said that if in the parking lot a roadside restaurant there are many trucks

parked, sure you eat well.

This is because the truckers know where to eat, because they make the same routes and know

the best places.

But in Valencia this can be said of the cyclists.

Any Saturday or Sunday morning there are hundreds, I would say thousands of cyclists

who leave home to do their favorite sport, that can you think is cycling ...

but no.

Their favorite sport is to stop for lunch in that place of always, where they eat some sandwiches

that multiply by two or three the calories they consume on the bike.

Because those Valencian sandwiches make ridiculous any "brunch" hipster,

it does not matter how they call that city fashion.

There are all kinds, of squid, cuttlefish, fried peppers, loin, veal, chicken, beans,

tortillas stuffed with imagination ... there are some that have a proper name, names

very local that may not be understood outside of this Community.

The "blanc i negre", of longaniza and morcilla, where the name comes from, which means

black and white

The Catalan, with ham and grilled tomato.

The Almussafes, with hot sobrasada, caramelized onions and melted cheese.

The brascada, with fried onions, veal and ham Serrano.

Or the chivito, with grilled tenderloin, bacon (also called panceta), melted cheese,

tomato, lettuce and fried egg.

But if you think that with any of these sandwiches is not enough to go straight

to the cardiologist, it's still eaten what it's called "the picaeta".

In the lunches of this land can not be missing a plate of peanuts, a salad

of tomato and lettuce with olives and some typical spicy peppers, long and large that if

you call them chilies or chilis, here few will understand.

Many times that "picaeta" also includes "tramussos", which in Spanish are lupins

and that if you do not know them you have to come to try them because it's hard to explain.

All this is always accompanied by drink, never missing bottles of water on the table, jugs

of beer or "vi i llimonà", which is wine with soda and that I would never dare to drink

out of my land.

Put wine in the soda?

No, if I'm not in Valencia.

When the food is over and you think you can go straight to a couch to digest all that

amount of cholesterol that you have ingested, coffee is waiting for you.

Working days are usually not drunk a lot of alcohol, but on weekends

lunch king is called "cremaet", which is a carajillo but with... One moment.

Don't you know the carajillo?

Well, the carajillo is a coffee with liquor, of cognac, rum, whiskey, anise, Baileys or whatever

your imagination lets you.

But the "cremaet" is another thing.

With a lot of sugar in the glass, rum or brandy is added that is heated to

burn it and take away some alcohol.

Put a little bit of lemon rind, some cinnamon sticks and a couple of coffee beans.

A whole caloric pump!

And of course, to celebrate the weekend, sometimes the party continues with some cup of some

liquor, the most typical is the cazalla, which is what is called dry anise here.

Yes, I know it may seem like there's a lot alcohol in a typical weekend lunch

Valencian, but this gastronomic event, social and cultural life is usually extended

almost until meal time.

That is, you do not have to drink too fast nor too much quantity; the just to be able

to return home or everyone to their obligations.

Also, many times at Valencian lunch tables are made business or political decisions

more important than in most of the offices throughout Spain.

So if you come to Valencia you have to try the most famous dish, the paella.

But if you really want to eat something authentic, traditional and that is part of the culture

of this region, do not forget this fantastic Valencian lunch.

But now we'll go with those quantifiers, and how we use them in Spanish.

I will repeat the phrases that I said at first

and let's see how to use them.

Everyone stops more or less between ...

"Everyone" is an expression that we use when we want to include all

people we're talking about

We use it with people and it is an expression fixed, we always use it the same way.

All the workers, well, and those who are not...

"All workers" we say it because we are using a plural masculine noun.

Remember that the masculine in Spanish is used to talk in general.

With this sentence I can talk only about the workers men, not women, but in this case,

in this context what I want to say is that are all the persons who work here,

men and women.

Well look, right now I just said "all the persons" and I've used the feminine plural,

because I used the noun "persons".

But I can change it to "people", that is uncountable and that's why we use it in singular,

besides being feminine.

Then I can say "all the people".

As you see, we use everything, all, all and all plus a noun, and depending on that noun,

whether it is masculine, feminine, singular or plural, the quantifier changes.

Almost everyone here eats this lunch in the bars.

Here I want to emphasize that they are not all, but they are a very large number.

I use the word "almost" before the quantifier.

"Almost" is invariable, does not change in masculine, feminine, singular or plural.

But notice that I have not used any noun, I've just said "almost everyone here eats..."

This is because I did not need to repeat the noun, because we already knew that we were talking about

workers from the Alginet factories.

And now let's see the following sentences, all together:

There are four forms in masculine, feminine, singular or plural, depending on the noun.

With "none" we can also use the word "almost".

And we go with a very interesting verb, the verb SOLER:

if you come to visit my land.

Francisca está harta de la ineptitud de Fernando y de ver cómo Roberto va ganándole terreno cada día que pasa: ha decidido intervenir.

Entretanto, Saúl acude al consistorio en busca del médico pidiendo ayuda para Julieta, ¿podría ir a reconocerla?

Ella se ha negado, pero a lo mejor si el médico se planta ahí mismo, acceda a que le eche un ojo.

Julieta le deja pasar, pero no permite que se acerque demasiado.

Cuanto más se esfuerza Saúl en entender qué le pasa a Julieta, menos transparente se muestra ella.

Finalmente, Carmelo pide a Irene que diga a Anacleto que publique que Los Molero andan lejos de la zona con la intención, dice, de calmar a Julieta… Ella lo hace sin mucho convencimiento.

El alcalde cita a al cura y Carmelo comprueba que don Berengario está lógicamente superado por el peso de la culpa: ¡va a confesar a la Guardia Civil!

The Stainless Works options that we have here in this video are going to be for the '11

to '14 truck owners out there who crave more power and more sound out of their 5-liter

F-150 and want to go with a high-quality option from Stainless Works.

Now, these will be an off-road option guys, meaning you will be deleting those cats from

the truck entirely making for even bigger power and sound gains when compared to a high-flow

catted version.

The price point will be right around 1,500 bucks while the install will, of course, get

a knuckle-busting three out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter according to the site,

and about a day or so to get everything knocked out.

Now, again guys, this is an off-road version of the Stainless Works headers, meaning you

will be removing those catalytic converters from the truck.

Now, why would you do something like this?

Well, the short and easy answer is that it's ultimately going to help you deliver the biggest

gains in both power and sound as you are going to be eliminating one of the biggest restrictions

in the exhaust system.

Now, aside from the off-road feature with these particular long tubes, are also gonna

incorporate what Stainless Works calls their factory-connect Y-pipe, as you guys can see

right here.

Now, this just simply means these long tubes are designed to work with your factory cat-back

or an aftermarket exhaust system that's going to incorporate that factory-style flange or

connection.

Now, just some quick food for thought here guys, Stainless Works does also offer a system

that they call their Performance Connect version of the same exact long tube headers basically

that's going to incorporate a full 3-inch X-pipe system.

But keep in mind, that can only be used with a corresponding Stainless Works "Performance

Connect cat-back," so, just something to think about there.

But I want to shift gears and focus in on the quality here with these headers because,

in my opinion, it's always one of the highlights when breaking down a Stainless Works product.

Now, they do use a material called Everlast 304 grade stainless steel...no, not the '90s

wrapper, but a material that's gonna be very durable on these headers and definitely one

that's a premium metal.

Now, these also incorporate the 1-3/4-inch primary here, the tubes basically all CNC

mandrel-bent also looking at a 3/8-inch laser-cut flange here at the head and then finally everything

exits out of your 3-inch merge style collector loaded with their merge spike technology,

which is basically going to help increase the exhaust velocity and scavenging here with

this system.

Along with the materials and primary size guys, I just want to point out that you are

looking at quality TIG welds throughout.

Everything has been made, of course, here in the U.S.A. and is backed by Stainless Works

lifetime warranty.

Now, I just want to hit home that this is a very, very well built header and that's

evident in just about every set of Stainless Works headers that I have personally handled,

including, by the way, the set I currently have installed on my 5-liter Mustang with

absolutely zero complaints.

But what does this all mean when it comes time to talk about gains?

Well, naturally aspirated trucks with a decent tune can see anywhere from 10 to 20-wheel

when doing a setup like this.

Now, on those forced induction applications, basically supercharged trucks, those gains

might be just as good, even a little bit better, thanks to freeing up a big restriction on

the exhaust side.

Now, along with the power does also come that radical change to your exhaust note, especially

when deleting the cats.

And this is something to keep in mind, guys, as your exhaust will be considerably louder

than it was before with the factory manifolds in place.

So, if you already have an aggressive exhaust system, just be prepared to wake the neighbors

and then some with the long tubes in place.

But as for the installation, well again guys, this one is not going to be fun.

Long tube headers on the coyote platform do involve a fair amount of work.

So, the site is gonna automatically kick this one up to a full-blown three out of three

wrenches on the difficulty meter.

And call it at least a day in the garage, more than likely two if this is your first

time doing it, along with a hefty set of tools.

And of course, the lift will always make your life a little bit easier in the process.

But wrapping things up, guys, if you're looking to really crank up the power and sound on

How to Give a Great Poster Presentation - Duration: 3:19.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to talk about giving a great poster presentation.

So, your poster has been accepted and you are going to be presenting at a conference,

convention, or a meeting of interested colleagues.

Here are the six steps to giving a top-notch presentation.

First, have a tight focus on your subject and message.

Be able to summarize your presentation in a single sentence, if you had to.

Don't try to examine so many different points or subpoints that your main focus gets blurred.

Second, when you are creating the actual poster have a natural flow from your question or

thesis statement through your results or findings to your conclusion or interpretations.

Make sure the reader's eye will flow from left to right through your poster in a natural

fashion.

Third, use great visuals.

Most people remember visuals from a poster, much more than the text.

Spend too much time creating eye catching visuals that will engage the reader.

Fourth, do what is required.

Usually there are established guidelines for a poster such as title and presenter's names

at the top.

References or footnotes at the bottom.

Use a large enough font size.

Make sure the poster can be read from the typical distance, maybe six or so feet away.

Do what the guidelines suggest so that, if judging is occurring, that you are judged

by content and presentation and that you don't lose points for small technical items.

And include your email or contact information on the poster.

Fifth, include a great title, an abstract, and a hook.

Choose an engaging title that will draw readers in.

Perhaps be provocative.

If possible, include a brief abstract that summarizes your whole poste in the 150 or

250 words allotted.

Of course, have that hook that grabs the reader either in the title, on the poster, or in

your initial comments to them.

Sell what you have.

Sixth, so now you have a great poster and people are coming by to see it and interact

with you.

Practice what you will say to your visitors.

Shoot to have this be a meaningful interaction about your work.

Let the person read through the poster.

Don't read it to them.

If a group gathers, talk to them as a group not individually.

Remember to make eye contact and talk simply and slow.

Ask if anyone has any questions.

I suggest being prepared with a handout, if appropriate.

Or make a simply, shortened URL available for an online version of the poster, if possible.

And give out your business card s to everyone and get people's contact information in

return.

See this as a networking opportunity.

Finally, poster prizes can be important and can help you gain status with your peers and

at work.

Take the process serious and approach it with enthusiasm.

It's a move to reduce complexity move from a bigger and more complex to lose application to something simpler and easier to control

in everyday use and this is becoming more popular with those who are retiring soon those who cannot use a

fully-fledged task manager at workplace for security reasons or those who already have a big

Useful work based project management tool. That means they don't need a fully fledged task manager for at home

So it can come in many different

Experiences and even many people are looking in the case of workplace stress trying to get something simple to get started and build foundations

And I definitely think basic to nudist applications have a place and they definitely help people to get started

They're brilliant foundations. So you're probably wondering what are basic to do this applications

What do they include so some of the basic tools include Microsoft to do Google Tasks?

They really don't have a huge amount of complexity

Sometimes the ability and subtasks and see lists per project and this is really simple and a great way for people to build up

Are you overwhelmed by the use of your tool above the task itself?

Are you getting stressed out by how much you're having to maintain the tool?

Above the actual completion of the task itself if you're asking yourself this question

Chances are you might need to downsize?

Because you're probably overwhelming yourself

The second question is are you using tool to its full capacity?

If you find yourself not utilizing it and you're paying for the service. Maybe it is time to downsize. Maybe you've over compensated

So for example, you could be using an intermediate level of the application, which is absolutely fine

But for example with you're only on basic use and you hammer take advantage of the advanced use of the application

Then chances are you might need to downsize so one of the topics is well to have a look at is essentialism

this is something I've seen on many Tim Ferriss podcasts and which has recently helped me with a lot of

Expenses and I'm pushing out. So for example, let's take the tools. We use every single day. Are we utilizing these tools?

Are we making full advantage of them or can we reduce down to something simpler something that's going to be more?

Fine-tuned for the things you're gonna be doing and something that I recommend when you're moving to different experiences in your life

Flying robots, what else can make men's heart beat? Moreover, what if you can

skills seemed to fascinate the gamers successfully. But we are grown-ups, not

satisfied with the robot itself. There must be something more than that. Anthem

is basically a looter shooter game. All you need to do is simply to beat the enemies

and to loot the items. Because the genre is typical, this game is inevitable to be

compared with other looter shooters like Warframe, Destiny 2, or The Division.

Needless to say, the graphic quality is fine.

Maybe superlative ever among the looter shooter, the beautiful backgrounds and

the detailed character textures. But unfortunately, it sacrifices the load time. The

worst thing is that you should see the loading screen even when you access to

the inventory so-called "Forge". The normal difficulty was so boring, and I played

most missions in the hard difficulty. It was literally hard. Once you are into a

combat, you have to be tactical. Clear out the landmines, approach the enemies

carefully, find something to take cover with, and deal with the dangerous ones

first like snipers and turrets.

At least I couldn't take any easy chance to fly around and shoot them in the air

freely in the missions. This game play type is quite similar to The Division.
