Hi guys! Welcome to a new Get Ready With Us with Eleonora The Lady!
I really wanted to have you on my channel to chat and test new products.
It's a big honour for me to be here.
Eleonora also has her YouTube channel, The Lady, I suggest you to watch her makeup videos.
Today we used lots of new products, including some to achieve a flawless base.
We also used some new products by NABLA, you'll see them in the video.
We send you a kiss and we leave you to out Get Ready With Us.
I'm starting with my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. Are you starting with the base?
I'm starting with the brow primer because I see myself as an empty tree.
I need to wear this to keep my hair off my face.
In the meantime, we made some tea.
Look at my nails marks in the face primer.
I'm going to apply this now.
I'm applying one of my favourite under eye creams, L'Absolu L'Extrait by Lancome.
- What skin type do you have? - Combination with tendency to oily.
- Me too. - I like to hydrate a lot my skin.
Although it does get a bit shiny, I like that effect.
Glowy is one thing, but what if it gets oily? I get very oily in the T zone.
I used to use lots of drying products, but then, when I started to work on celebrities,
I noticed that they always use very rich and moisturizing products before makeup.
I started to do the same and the skin feels and look better.
I'm now concealing some redness and blemishes.
For this look, I want a flawless, red-carpet base, so I'm using Pupa Extreme Cover foundation.
It has very high coverage, but I love the fact that it's very thin on the skin.
I'm in the shade 020.
I'm now using some orange concealer to contrast my under eye circles.
I like the effect. Do you spend more time on the base or on the eyes?
It depends, but I usually like to spend more time on the base.
I love this foundation because it sits well on the skin, but it doesn't dry.
It remains pliable, but it also prevents the skin from getting shiny as it's oil-free.
I'm using Fenty Beauty foundation in the shade 190, which is a bit too light.
I'm just using a small amount.
I love the effect. It evens out the skin and you only need a tiny bit for a flawless complexion.
Have you ever done a meet-up?
I did it once, more than one year ago, and I'm organizing one for December.
I love the kind of event where I can meet my subscribers, hear their stories.
Sometimes they tell me that they started makeup courses because of my videos. I love that.
I'm filling my brows with NABLA Brow Divine in Jupiter.
For concealer, I'm using Chanel n. 20.
I also love going to events. The first time I met you was at your event at Eataly.
- I even have the photo. - You need to send it to me, I'll insert it in this video.
You had your aquamarine hair.
- Did you already have your channel back then? - Yes. because I was blonde.
I don't know which iPad I was using, though.
- I didn't know you yet. - Thank goodness.
The quality of my videos was horrible.
At least you started with an iPad. I started with a compact camera that I got for my 18th birthday.
- I had piles of shoe boxes as a support for the camera. - I still do that.
- I actually can't say what I use. - I want to know.
I can't! It's a box that has the perfect height and it belongs to my grandma.
- What is it? - I can't say it, just imagine it.
Leave a comment down below, but I'll never confirm if you guessed.
Guys, please guess what it is. If I find out I'll tell you in my Insta Stories.
If I laugh the concealer goes in the smile lines, don't make me laugh.
I'm now applying the eye primer.
I'm using Pupa Active Light highlighting concealer,
which I like to apply on the centre of the face to brighten up the skin.
It doesn't have much coverage and it's very thin, so it's perfect if you want to layer it on top of your base.
I'm using this one by Glossip.
- You're so flawless. Although it does look natural. - It's not heavy, is it?
- I'm now baking with the Born This Way powder. - I love it.
- It has a clever packaging - I actually don't like it.
Seriously!
- How do you use it? It falls! - You just use a brush and put it on the side.
- You open it and you put it in the lid. - Ok, got it.
I like the Laura Mercier's one because it's easier to get the product.
I first want to do some cream contouring and I'm using Shade and Illuminate by Tom Ford.
I already hit pan, especially on the contour side.
You mentioned it quite a few times, also in a favourite products video.
- It's a beautiful shade. - I need to start the eyes but I don't know what to do.
I'm going for warm tones because I want to use Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette.
- I'm going to apply Illusion in the crease. - Nice eyeshadow.
- I can lend it to you, if you want. - I'll might try it.
I'm going to use NABLA and Jeffrey Star.
- I just applied Smashbox Lid Primer. - I'm using Fetish.
Lately I like to use the colours that remind of fall leaves.
We can both go for warm tones. I still don't know, but I'm thinking to keep my eyes quite basic.
I think that this shade will go well with the new products.
- Do you mean the lips new products? And eyes? - Exactly.
Guys, I found out that Eleonora loves Raven from 'That's so Raven'.
- It's my favourite TV series ever. - You all need to watch it, if you haven't already.
I don't know what to use on the centre of the eye. I think I'm going for Celestial. It's beautiful.
I'm applying some Dogma now.
- You're going for a fall look. - Yes.
I love fall, it's my favourite season.
It looks beautiful and it changes depending on the light.
Fall is my favourite season and my second favourite is winter
I hate cold weather. I can stand the heat, but not the cold.
I hate spring because of my allergies. I love the temperature in spring, but I can't leave the house.
- Do you sneeze and everything? - Yes, with any pollen.
- I never tried to use the Dreamy eyeshadows wet. - You can, but I don't think you need to.
- Exactly, I never felt the need to do it. - They're very pigmented and buttery.
I now take Oud and I apply it on the base of the lashes. I like this colour.
Do you prefer this or the first one they launched?
They're different. The first one is more classic, it has black, browns and neutral tones.
I like them both.
- I was telling you about my nose. - Yes, you said you have a complex with your nose.
- Have you ever thought to get something done? - My nose.
You too? We should do the 'take two, pay one'.
I'm about to reveal a secret for the first time.
I always had a complex about my lips, I always felt like my upper lip was way too thin.
Now it's not anymore, because I got hyaluronic acid fillers.
- I got them one year and a half ago. - Are they actually temporary?
Hyaluronic acid is already present in our body, but with age it diminishes. Obviously, not at our age.
With fillers, the more acid you get injected, the more visible and durable the effect is.
- Are you satisfied? - Yes, I feel better and I like my lips.
I'm now going to use the Brow Pot in Neptune.
I'm mixing Eden and Amber and I apply them on the lower lash line.
I'm now showing you a sneak peek of the two new shades of NABLA Dazzle Liner,
which will soon be available. The first one is a rose gold and the second one is an intense ruby red.
I want to use them together. I'll apply the red one on the outer part and the rose gold on the inner part.
I don't know which one to use.
I start with Cruel Jewel. This colour is so beautiful.
I want to use it as well.
This shade has a metallic red pearl and a very dark and intense base.
It doesn't give the effect of a tired eye and you can use it on its own, without a dark eye pencil.
I love the Cruel Jewel and Comet combo. I apply Comet on the inner part and I reach Cruel Jewel.
- I've never seen an eyeliner like Cruel Jewel. - It's not a simple red eyeliner.
True. It's Cruel Jewel.
I can tell when someone is wearing Klimt, for example. It got very iconic and I think this will do the same.
I'm going to try it.
It's very pigmented. Sometimes I use Klimt on the tear duct.
Comet also looks beautiful on the inner corner.
- Aren't you showing the third one? - I wanted to leave some suspense. The third colour is...
Industrial, a cool lead grey. This is also very dark and it beautifully substitutes the classic black eyeliner.
I'm not going to swatch it because you guys have already seen too much.
Let me know with a comment if you want to see the swatch of Industrial.
Cruel Jewel reminds me of Scream Queens because it has a bit of a blood red.
They cancelled Scream Queens. The first series was iconic.
- It was very glam, I loved it. - It also had some lines that were very iconic.
- Like 'Mean Girls'. - Exactly. That's my favourite film ever.
My favourite.
Apart from NABLA, what's your favourite makeup brand?
Some years ago, I would have said MAC, but now I would say Charlotte Tilbury.
I never tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury.
I've been liking some brands that are quite new, so they still don't have many products available.
I couldn't say Jeffrey Star because he only has a few products for now.
Who's the celebrity you would love to put makeup on?
- I don't want to do makeup on other people - For me, it's Britney.
- Do you know which kind of makeup you'd do on her? - A nice one, since her makeup is always bad.
I think you would be perfect as Britney's makeup artist, you would become best friends.
To add three-dimension to my face, I'm using this palette from Pixi Beauty.
With Pupa Active Light, I highlight some more the centre of my face.
I like the fact that you can layer it very easily.
If you had a different name, which one would you want?
Mine is the one I'd like to give to my daughter in the future: Rebecca.
Beautiful.
I have no idea about mine.
Which teeth-whitening product do you use?
We actually talked about it earlier, we're both quite obsessed with white teeth.
But his are whiter, so I need to catch up.
I got Crest whitening stripes in England and I use them every now and then.
Many people asked how your passion for makeup started.
I have always loved drawing, so I started by drawing makeup on the models I would find on magazines.
- I would draw eyeliner with my pen, for example. - That's so cool.
While I was destroying Barbies, you were doing makeup on magazine models.
- What about you? - I started late.
My actual passion for makeup started very late and I got addicted to it because of the web.
Until high school I wouldn't wear much makeup and what I was wearing would look very bad.
- Have you learnt through YouTube? - Yes, like many other girls.
I think girls are very lucky nowadays because they know the names of the products, their functions, etc.
For blush, I use one of Jeffrey Star's eyeshadows.
I'm curling my lashes with the new MULAC eyelash curler, but my lashes are so ugly.
- See how beautiful it looks? I love it. - So pretty!
It's brighter than it looks.
For mascara, I apply Gentleman by MULAC. It's the first time I try it.
My lashes are quite hopeless, but I like the effect. It's very black and it gives lots of volume.
- I'm applying Immaculate with this brush. - Do you actually call that thing a brush?
It's an applicator.
- It works very well. - Do you put Immaculate there? That's very aggressive.
Have you ever thought of closing your channel because of negative comments?
How do you react to them?
I never thought to do that. I never really had very negative comments,
maybe because I never expose myself on the personal side. I've always only talked about makeup.
In the meantime, I apply Immaculate in the inner corner.
What about you?
Since I also have a vlog channel, I get affected by the negative comments on those videos.
I must say that my community is very positive.
The reason why you open a channel is to create a space where you can speak freely and relaxed.
If people constantly criticize you, it doesn't make sense anymore.
I never thought about closing the channel, but I've been suffered because of it in private.
Sometimes we give more importance to the few negative comments than to the 100 positive ones.
I got hurt when I brought someone to my channel and I got a negative response. I know you get me.
I can't stand that. I said it many times also on Instagram and now it happens less frequently.
I'd ask a friend to be my model in a video and she'd initially say that she's shy and not sure.
I would then convince her and, once they video was online, she would get criticized about everything.
Come on.
- I don't know which eyelashes I should use. - I'm using these ones by Eyelure.
N. 146. I'll leave all the links to the products we're using in the info box.
It's so difficult to apply fake lashes when your own lashes are curled.
If you complain again about having naturally curled lashes, I'll kick you out.
I know that the few people with curled lashes can understand me.
I brought something we both love.
- Do you need a hand? - Today I'm a bit clumsy.
It's quite strong.
I'm going to Britney's concert on the 28th of December, which is her birthday in Las Vegas.
- What's your favourite Britney's song? - Good question.
It's like when a mum is asked who is her favourite child.
One of my favourite is 'My Prerogative'.
There are just so many I like the old ones, like 'Lucky'.
That one is very cute.
For highlighter, I apply Urban Decay After Glow. How beautiful is this palette?
Before I apply highlighter, I always spray a mist, this is L'Absolu L'Extrait by Lancome.
- It's like a perfume. - It smells like luxury.
It's so good.
I'm going to spray some Kat Von D Lock It.
I can see that you only spray a small amount.
- I'm applying Bliss. - I like this one, I think the name stands for something.
- "I can't do what". - "You don't need to... what".
"You are not Fashion Week".
- Maybe that's it. - Or "You're not stupid, hey".
We match very well. It was not planned.
- Can I try Jeffrey Star's blush? - The pan is quite big.
I don't like these big pans. I don't love huge things in general.
- What? - I don't know. In makeup.
You also don't like Perversion's applicator. You like detailed things.
This brush is also too big. I would use that one for the body.
What's the best eyeliner for beginners?
- Maybe a pen one. - I really like NYX's new eyeliner.
That's a very cool one.
Together with the new eyeliners, NABLA also came out with some new Dreamy Lipsticks.
They're not only matte. We're now giving you a sneak peek of some shades.
I want to use a nude. I'll go for Broadway, which is a brownish nude. I can't wait to try it.
She hasn't tried them yet. We swatched some earlier, but she hasn't worn any of them.
I was immediately drawn to this one. This is the type of warm shade I like.
This is a warm brown, with a touch of caramel and orange tones. It looks amazing on the lips.
It comes in this beautiful holiday packaging.
We also have some shades that come in the lip kit format. I'm going to use Alter Ego.
It's one of Diva Crime's best sellers and we launched its Dreamy Matte version.
- I love this shade. - Alter Ego comes in pencil, lipstick and liquid lipstick.
Alter Ego line.
I can't wait to show you all the other new shades.
I'm applying it without a lip pencil. The smell of the Dreamy Matte is amazing.
Beautiful. It goes well with the eyes, my jumper and my hair. Perfect for fall.
The pencil is a Velvet Line, so it's long lasting, super pigmented and it glides on very easily.
It has a velvet finish.
- This is my new everyday shade. - I also love the name because I think it's very festive.
- This is such a perfect fall shade. - It goes very well with your jumper.
This is Alter Ego, which looks beautiful paired with a natural eye look. It really stands out.
I love it because it's a cool cherry red and when it dries it gets redder.
Both shades are perfect for the holiday season. And also the other shades, since I gave a sneak peek.
Look out for more sneak peeks on out socials.
- I love that NABLA always gives small hints. - I have lots of fun with that.
- This was out Get Ready With Us, I had the best time. - Me too.
I want to thank you because you really made me feel comfortable. He really is a beautiful person.
I transferred all my jumper pills.
I kept this here because your jumper is like a cat.
I hope you had fun with us. I suggest you to follow The Lady on Instagram and YouTube.
