hey guys and welcome back to my channel today's video is exciting okay I'm very
excited because kkw Beauty just launched a new summer collection right
wasn't it called the summer collection new eyeshadow palette for new lip liners
and four new lipsticks you guys have been following me for a while you'll
know that I'm actually a pretty big fan of kkw Beauty I can't stop using and I
am still using the kkw Beauty concealers like daily and I haven't been
able to put these down since they've launched and since I tried it same goes
for the baking powder and a couple of her contour products I'll use on days
where I want like a full glam but the concealer and baking powder I've been
using for so so long I also love the Mario Collection so honestly I don't
know just her aesthetic and the products are really good quality in my opinion so
when I saw this collection I personally got very excited because there's an
eyeshadow palette like I said before for lip liners and for lipsticks but all the
lipsticks and lip liners are like peach I love peach so much so I'm so excited
to try those out we're just gonna be testing this out today I'm gonna let you
know my thoughts whether I think maybe it's worth picking up the palette or not
because it is a neutral palette the packaging the unit carton is that
classic kkw pinky nude and then the eyeshadow palette looks like this it's
the same size as the Mario palette that I do have as well and here are the
colors now I look at this and I get very very inspired this is a palette that is
so true to the colors that I love every single day but to me just by looking at
it it's a little bit different because you have your Browns so obviously it's a
neutral palette but you have like the Browns the Reds the peaches the mustard
yellow shade which is fabulous a nice kind of base color and then this nice
purpley mauve shade +2 shimmers no.3 shimmers this one as well so to be
honest when I first look at it I am NOT bored a lot of people might look at it
and be like oh it's another neutral palette I don't need that but for me I
see these colors and I'm very very inspired and so I'm very excited to dip
into this and see how it works on the eyes and everything like that so okay
let's get into it enough blabbing I'm gonna go ahead and start off with D
kkw concealer I get two shades of concealers every time I like a formula
and I said this before but just in case you
haven't heard it I like to do one for brightening and highlighting so I have
the shade 2 and the shade 4 is better for like blemishes or I can mix the two
to kind of create an in-between shades so that's personally what I like to do
with concealer it's very very helpful to have multiple colors in my opinion so
let's just draw some stripes on the eyes and go right in I'm gonna blend it out
with my thrive cosmetic sponge which speaking of thrive when you guys are
watching this I will be in LA with thrive cosmetics and I'm so excited
because I really really fell in love with the brand and I'm very excited
but like I said when you're watching this you're probably gonna have already
seen what I've been up to on my Instagram is patting this out this is
their new sponge it is so so good it's the perfect shape and texture and this
flat edge really makes it perfect to get into these little corners here I've been
absolutely loving this sponge that's so good okay I'm gonna be taking the
Maybelline fit me loose powder in the shade fair light I think mm-hmm yes and
I'm gonna use this to just set that concealer on the eyelid so we have a
nice powdery base to work with and I've been kind of into using a pretty light
shade on my eyelids with concealer these days just because by the time you are
finished with the look it actually makes the colors stand out a little bit more
and just pulls the whole look together cuz it kind of highlights the brow bone
after you put shadow on it I've just been liking it so let's go into the kink
aw what is this cause this is just kkw eyeshadow pallete doesn't really have a
name oh but this but the shades do have names I like when the names are
underneath the shades when I'm filming because it's so much easier for me to
like tell you what I'm using but as far as my day-to-day life it doesn't really
make a difference okay if I'm honest so you know but it's personal preference
also the mirror in here is very high quality let's dive in shall we I'm gonna
go into this shade right here and I think I never know how to read these I
want to say that this one is fade see what I mean I'm just probably not giving
you accurate information right now because of the shade name so I'm
actually just gonna apply this on the eyelid and it's a little bit darker than
the concealer so you can definitely gonna see it showing up here but oh well
I'm just I put it all over just a nice light
layer oh I filled in my brows already with the Mack felt-tip pencil so good I
absolutely love it um okay I'm dying to use this shade right here so I'm gonna
dip into this nice mustard yellow you know I want to say this is called
Florence I hope I'm saying this right the yellow shade if I'm not and let's
see how this works okay I'm really loving this eyeshadow color I've been so
into more yellowy eyeshadows I don't know I just love a good mustard shadow
sometimes this is blending out beautifully so I went shopping today or
try to because you know in my mind when I when I have like a trip coming up I
always like to go and find maybe a shirt or something new to wear because
honestly I were the same thing over and over and over again so in preparation to
go to LA I was like you know what I'm just gonna go to you know one store and
see what they've got before I get too into my story I'm gonna go into the
peach shade right here which I'm so excited about um this one's called
selfish I think anyway so if anybody knows me they probably know that I take
a long time to go clothing shopping like I'm super super picky when it comes to
clothes if it doesn't look great on me I don't buy it
okay I don't buy the things that I might have to make work later like no but I'll
go around the store for hours I will grab handfuls of stuff that catches my
eye I think might be cute and I'll try it all on and nine times out of ten I
leave the store with nothing like that seriously how it goes my sister's always
hated going shopping with me because I would spend hours in the same store and
then walk out with nothing but you know to me I always know when it works and
when I find something that works for me I do buy it but it just takes a lot of
time I'm blending this to a crease by the way and I'm really liking how it is
blending in with the yellow even it's kind of a fun situation so I'm just
gonna kind of keep building this up so anyways I did that today I was like oh
I'm gonna go shopping and try it on so many things and you know everything
looks so cute on the shelves and on the mannequins and I was like yes that's
gonna look cute on me and then I try it on and I'm like I look like I'm gonna go
to a picnic and you know the dress looked like a
freaking paper bag and I'm like no just doesn't fit me right and so I left with
nothing and I'm just gonna have to wear something that I've already worn a
million times but you know what that's okay does anyone else have that problem
or are you the opposite where like you find something and you just buy it you
just know it's yours and you just go ahead and buy it or do you have to try
it on like me I am a Trier Honor for sure put me in Sephora though and I've
got my basket full in five minutes no questions asked so it's just clothing I
feel like that takes me a minute to really find what I like well at this
point I don't really know which direction I'm gonna go with this I look
since it's kkw I'm probably gonna try to do something a little more glam I
think that's what's fun about this palette already is just you could
obviously use you know the brown shade and just put that all over you it and
call it a day when you put on mascara but there really are shades in here to
make a lot of different looks that's what I've found so far I don't know why
it looks like it's grabbing a little bit on this outer corner here maybe I didn't
set that properly this eye seems to be blending fine all right we're gonna go
in with this shade right here which is called family cute shade names and I
want this to be kind of what we deepen the outer corner with so I'm just
building that up on the outer corner and then buffing it into the crease a little
bit there's a little bit of kickback with this color it could be the brush
I'm using as well which is not something that's like you know a deal breaker for
me because the anasazi pallets have crazy kickback in a lot of their
palettes but still they perform well so I don't know why that shade has more
kick back than others though maybe it's got a little bit of a drier formula so
I'm thinking I want to do like a proper cut crease so I'm gonna take some of
that kkw Beauty concealer in the shade number one I've been really into like
cut creases but I usually do it more subtle like I usually don't carve it out
with concealer I'll just kind of carve it out with eye shadow you know so I'm
just going to attempt to carve this out I'm not very good at talking to you guys
while I do this I learned this trick somewhere I want to see wreck in my
brain it was a YouTube video I don't remember who was it makeup Shayla where
you put on the concealer then you open your eyes to see where it will stamp and
that's where you know where to cut your grease all right well that's not perfect
but you know what it works so next I think I want to use this pretty gold
shade over here right here you see it oh I'm terrible at this okay
oh my work this shade it's called Chicago and we're just going
to start to apply this to the lid oh wow wow this is so pretty it has such a nice
foil to it and the brush isn't wet or anything but obviously it's sticking to
the concealer really nicely to create that kind of foiled effect so I'm
bringing it to about there on both my eyes because I wanted to kind of maybe
mix Chicago and oh I should have done the other one first okay
okay I just tested it out it did work so I'm gonna take some in Chicago and then
this first shade right here called sait and this is what we are putting in that
inner corner just so it's slightly lighter than the true Chicago shade but
it still blends together really really nicely well I like how this is looking
okay I want to go in with the deepest shade in the palette which is called
gem and I it almost looks purple like a purple Brown we shall see and I want
this to kind of deep enough that outer third again so I'm just gently kind of
applying it to that outer corner and a little bit into the crease now I'm
taking this shade right here on my finger called North cute all the shimmer
shades are her kids names that's really cute I'm just adding that over top of
the gold shade and the dark purple brown shade just to really mend them together
create a nice gradient alright I'm just gonna go ahead and clean up fallout and
then here yes not really short my hair is doing back
there a little Fountain of Youth oh well the show must go honey
alright so far you guys I really really like this makeup look um I did feel like
the eyeshadows blended nicely and everything so let's finish up the look
first and then we can you know judge it all yeah I think I'm gonna use this
because it's sitting here and I've used it the past couple days and I really
really liked it it's the Laura Mercier foundation primer and this is the
radiance one honestly a really steer clear of this for a while because it's
quite radiant but underneath foundation it really does look nice and I guess you
know it's not that I stay away from radiant products it's just when I have a
lot of texture on my skin it definitely emphasizes it so I feel like my texture
is pretty good right now it's decent I'm using this I want to glow some more
so I'm going to use the Physicians Formula healthy foundation this doesn't
really have like an actual radiance to it I don't think but it's definitely not
matte it's more of a dewy finish but it still offers coverage so I've been
really liking this foundation and I obviously love the flower Beauty light
illusion they kind of do similar ish sings the light illusion I feel like is
a little bit more radiant than this one but as far as like the coverage goes
it's kind of similar reason this one this one's the it cosmetics heavenly
luxe brush of the south and I just want to kind of evenly distribute the product
with the brush and then I'm gonna take a little bit of the foundation and just
apply it to the sponge that way it doesn't pick up too much coverage and
I'm gonna go ahead and pounce this over the skin just to kind of give it a more
dewy finish already all right now I decided to pull this out of the drawer
today just because a little bit more because I sleep very much too so this is
from Becca it's the under eye brightening corrector it's going to just
add hours of sleep to my face is what its gonna do so I like to put that
underneath a bit goes a long way you can build it up I'm gonna kind of press this
in with my fingers focusing where the blue areas are as you can see already it
really lifts up the blue and this is not meant to be worn alone it's meant to be
used before concealer but it kind of just adds that extra coverage before
concealer so you don't have to like keep taking all this it's either you know I'm
saying so for concealer I said consider third
time's in like two seconds I'm gonna mix shades four and two like this I have to
do mostly for I almost forgot like tada a little bit of this over blemishes if I
feel like it needs more coverage somewhere mm-hmm now I go with number
two and just do a little bit of brightening down the nose let's just do
a little bit on the forehead just like that and then let's go ahead and contour
with some cream contour this the cakey W beauty cream contour stick in the shade
light - yeah let's go ahead and draw some lines where we want to contour a
little bit well you look great and that's it no kidding all right so
okay so I'm gonna blend out the blemish concealer first just like that then I'm
gonna blend out concealer concealer under the eyes now you could totally do
those steps separately if you wanted I'm just fueling like trying something new
today so that's what we did as I come out to the edge I like to be really
careful of the eye shadow so that we don't stamp over that with concealer
we're not good now I'm gonna take my foundation sponge foundation brush oh my
word I can't speak today apparently and since there's a little bit of foundation
left on the brush I feel like it's just gonna help really blend that contour
into the skin without it looking too heavy you know I'm gonna wipe off the
other side of the brush and kind of use that to first blend down the middle of
the nose and then taking the same brush and what's left on it just going to
blend out the side contour and then I'm taking my sponge bringing it over the
whole nose basically they're just kind of soften everything okay this is
looking pretty good it's been a while since I've like full-on contoured and
everything I'm gonna take the kkw Beauty baking powder I use translucent one
that's a shade they have several shades if you're wondering and I don't usually
um use this with a sponge however you definitely could I just go ahead and
press it on the under-eye with a brush but you know what since we're going ham
tonight I'm saying tonight because I'm filming in the evening today tonight
whatever time you're watching this I'm gonna take some I'm just going to kind
of bake the sides of the nose to really cinch that in a little bit we're going
extra with this tutorial I mean I can't do a kkw Beauty review and not contour
also gonna take someone the chin a little bit
on the cheeks too I'm also gonna bake the center of the nose slightly and a
little on the forehead why not we're going to ham Wow okay this is getting
glim very quickly let's finish up the eyes now I'm gonna be hopping back into
the mustard yellow shade with a brush here on my nose I'm taking that mustard
shade and we're just gonna start to buff this out I'm leaving the baked on by the
way just while we finish up the eyes I'm really
in this yellow I'm just making sure to really buff that out on the lower lash
line I love a good smoked out lower lash line you guys probably know that by now
taking the peach shade again and I'm just gonna run this really close to the
lower lash line just don't really layer this up you kind of create the same
gradient that we have going on the top lid all right I'm gonna take that same
brush and go into what was this chain Chicago yes good job Ellie and I'm gonna
pop this along the lower lash line as well basically kind of over the peach in
the inner 2/3 of the eye I would say oh I got some v I forgot to tap the brush
off that's my fault and while we're at it I'm gonna go into
the lighter champagne shade called st. and was this I'm going to bring you some
shimmer into that inner third of the lower lash line you could use this as an
inner corner highlight if you want but I have another product I want to use for
that which we'll see in a moment then let's go ahead and mix these two shades
you can't even see I'm the worst okay these two right here tap off the extra
and go ahead and smoke this out on the lower third connecting it up to the
other shadows alright let's dust away the bacon dust dust dust taking what's
left and kind of just powdering the other areas of the face so they don't
budge all right let's do mascara before you go crazy I'm gonna use the hourglass
caution mascara I love this this was in my favorites video and I can't stop
using it there are just so many good mascaras right now but this one I feel
like I've been using a lot for super dramatic makeup looks because you can
really build it up and it can get really voluminous if you wanted to which is my
favorite so I'm making sure to kind of snuggle lash line I guess that kind of
makes sense just get it really close to the lash line so that way since we
didn't wear eyeliner we can kind of get that same defined a lash line just
because of the mascara being at the root this reminds me you guys were so funny
when I said in my previous video I don't know her I think it was two videos ago I
was talking about yeah it was my favorites video I think I was talking
about my mascara and I was like trying to say I have naturally long lashes but
I said I have naturally long mascaras and I caught it before it went live but
it was already edited and uploaded and I was like
whatever they're gonna know what I mean and you guys just thought it was the
funniest thing in the world but you knew what I meant right I must have been
exhausted I don't know how I like said that with such confidence you know a
really long mascara but oh well what can you do okay great we have mascara on for
bronzer and contour I guess I'm gonna use the kkw Beauty powder contour kit
I have loved this I've used it for several months now and I really love it
and I also love the brush that comes with it so what I'm gonna do is kind of
dip into both I personally like to mix them and then I tap off the extra kind
of on my wrist this is just how I do it and I'll take that angle brush and I'll
kind of further sculpt and warm up the cheekbones whoa did it tap off the
product enough there no worries though can always buff it out so I'm just gonna
get a nice general burr on tour I said a word bronze and contour combined and I
really like to press the contour on instead of wiping it just because that
will remove any of the product that we have underneath and we're not wanting to
do that alright I have everybody knows kind of
is that TMI sorry um and I keep trying to like wipe it and
it gets rid of this spot here on my nose and it's driving me crazy
boy didn't blend out the cream contour oh my god whoa it's getting late yeah
I'm gonna take some of this and just you know contour underneath the chin a
little bit this is where the powder brush comes in handy to really buff out
all of the edges of this and you'll see it really transforms everything it just
makes it look like it's a part of the face you know like it's all blended
together and there's no harsh lines harsh lines are a dead giveaway you know
all right for blush I'm going to use the found Beauty baked illuminating blush
this is from Walmart and I've used it in several tutorials but it's been a while
so this is a really nice illuminating blush it's in the shade peach glow and
you'll see it really does have a nice luminous kind of sheen to it with a hint
of color it's really nice and subtle soft and buildable to see that this is a
good one and done blush if you're in a rush oh that rhymed but seriously if you
just want like some glow on the cheeks you don't have time to highlight maybe
you could just throw this on I'm taking what's left on the contour brush I'm
kind of contouring my nose and under the lip and
blending it out there's my problem seriously
it comes off my nose so easily maybe I need to like take my nose like the tip
of it you know I'm not happy Bob all right we're still moving on though
I'm gonna use the kkw Beauty highlighter palette no the contour kit
does have highlighters in it and they are beautiful so you could totally use
that if you have this palette but I recently got the highlighting palette
and I can't wait to show you what this does so I've been obsessed with this
shade right here you know if I'm honest I've only used
this like three times I've had it for a while but it might to tribe in and I
just haven't really used it so let me just show you closely
blinding so so pretty I'm gonna mix these two together go diagonal a little
bit a hint of like the true gold same thing on this side of course down
the center of the nose yes we cannot forget between the eyes here that's my
favorite the lips where Cupid's bow I guess it is so good you guys and it's
buildable too like I'm going a little more hand than usual just because I feel
like it for this look but you really can make it look more natural as well so I'm
actually gonna take that light shade on a smaller brush and this is what I'm
going to use in that inner corner just because it is insane taking what's left
and going across the brow bone I'm just gonna buff over the highlight a little
bit I'm just taking what's left on the contour bronzer brush and just that was
hard to say and just adding a little bit more warmth around the perimeters of the
face and then I think we're ready to set it I know we don't normally do it this
way but I think I'm just gonna set it and then we'll try on all the lip colors
how does that sound let's see I think I just want to use Smashbox today I'm
gonna use Smashbox primer water this is just the original formula this is just
going to smooth the face
my sponge and pat down the baby hairs let's try on the lip color so there are
four shades of lip liners and they are in the shade peach one peach - peach
three and peach for as you can see here so we're gonna go and order and same
thing with the lipsticks one two three four so I'll start with peach one the
unit carton on this is like soft touch nude beige classic kkw color oh I
haven't even opened these yet here is what the pencil looks like let's start
with this we don't line and fill the lips of this no I've never tried a lip
liner from her okay I'm just kind of pressing in the color this is a really
nice light peach color very pretty so far let's try the lipstick with it
here's what the packaging looks like on this how pretty oh and I actually do own
the classic lipstick from the classic Kay lipstick yeah from the Mario
collection love this formula so I think it's the same it smells the same it's
going to apply this to the lips ooh well how pretty is this color it's
definitely a much lighter peach than any that I own I normally don't go for this
line of lip colors just because I feel like sometimes it can look a little
crusty in the inner lip by the end of the day but I will have to test this out
and see how it wears and everything like that because if it does wear beautifully
it would be a nice color to wear with this kind of makeup look it's kind of
just a little bit more subtle so take a good look at number one mm-hmm
and now let's try the second one here is peach - lip liner same thing I'm going
to line them fill the lips okay I'm loving this one so far let's go ahead
and add peach to lipstick so there is peach - definitely more my kind of tone
I bet one and two would be really pretty mixed as well on me just because it make
it more nude but not too light but I still love this shade right here so take
a good look at this shade I really like how this color matches that peach shade
in the eyeshadow palette you know I feel like this shade they were a match made
in whoa knocking stuff over okay let's try the
third one pretty here's peach three this this color is good oh I wasn't expecting
this let's go ahead and top it with the peach three
stick yes I love this shade so much I would definitely do something softer in
the eyes if I was using this shade but I don't have anything like this it's so
pretty I love it oh my gosh peach 3 my friends peach 3 I don't want
to take this one off but we're gonna try the fourth one I might end up putting
this one back on who knows though cuz with the eye look you know my outlook is
good oh no has it stained the lips ok the lip liner must have stained my lips
like crazy what in the world well it looks like that lipstick might come at a
cost but hey at least if it wears off you've got a nice lip stain underneath
how weird alright last but not least the fourth
color I can't get over those lip stain that's really weird
peach 4 here it is let's see what this looks like ooh it's almost like a
terracotta sorry full lip liner is a little bit weird looking this is a
really pretty kind of like red color it looks really red on me so let's top it
with peach for lipstick so the lipstick kind of has more of a brown undertone
alright so that is peach for such a pretty color honestly this is something
that I would probably wear a more fall and winter so it's a really nice color
but I'm thinking I like peach 3 better if I'm honest I'm not hating this color
though ok it looks really nice but I think that it's more of a fall tone for
me personally alright let's switch this back maybe I'll mix peach 1 and 2 to see
what that looks like because I think it'd be nice with this I look my lips
are so state after lip swatch videos like where i'm swatching tons my lips
are this color for days ok I'm gonna line with peach too and I am over lining
a little bit since our lips are so stinking yeah now let's take peach to
lipstick and eye hi this kind of along the edges it's something like that and
let's apply peach one in the center you know yes ma'am look what we've done such
a pretty shade I'm just gonna press that down with my fingers
mmm-hmm I like that combo a lot okay I'm gonna take some of the butter blush from
Physicians Formula this isn't the shade vintage Rouge I just want a little bit
the apples of my cheeks just a tad and then let's set the brows boy brow
I want the shade that's to pelant shade blonde all right you guys that finally
completes this tutorial flash review I guess let's chat for a brief moment I
have to be honest you guys I'm very thrilled about this palette I'm so
excited about the colors I love the look that I made I am actually packing my
makeup bag tonight to go to LA and I'm definitely gonna bring this with me I
just feel like it's so great for everyday but I can also judge it up a
little bit and it's not gonna be too dramatic oh my gosh I love it the
lipsticks okay I think I like shades 2 & 3 best 1 & 4 are really nice but on my
skin tone I feel like I'm gonna be wearing 2 & 3 like crazy the shade 3 is
gonna be gorgeous with just like a really simple I can't wait to wear that
one and I really love the formula the classic lipstick formula is so good so
I'm not worried about that I absolutely love how that lipstick wears and so I'm
excited to wear these and I'm excited to create more looks with this collection
you guys honestly I think they did a really great job with this I think that
anybody can use this palette it's not too intimidating yet there's something
different about it that's really inspiring in my opinion so if you're
into neutral palettes but you want a little more options this is a great one
I'm very happy with how the look turned out I'm always pretty impressed with
this brand in general I'll be honest when I saw this whole collection I was
very excited I just feel like it's something I'm really gonna reach for I'm
really gonna get my money's worth for sure on this palette so that completes
