Queen Holds 'Crisis Meetings' After Meghan Shocks Her Majesty With 'Nasty Surprise'

Queen Elizabeth II has called her closest royal aides to her summer residence at Balmoral

Castle to hold "crisis meetings" on what is being dubbed the "Duchess Disaster,"

ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan's arrival in Scotland.

Disaster."

It all came to a head last week when the Queen was shocked to learn she'd been hoodwinked

by Meghan.

This goes back to the new Duchess of Sussex's handling of her father, Thomas Markle, before

and after the May 19th wedding.

From day one, Meghan reported to the Monarch's aides that she was in touch with her father

and extended family and lied about the entire ordeal.

The Duchess also lied to Harry's PR team which caused the prince's longtime secretary

to quit.

Edward Lane Fox, quit over Meghan's haughty attitude, as she refused to take his advice

regarding how to handle her father and her extended family.

Palace insiders say when Edward Lane Fox departed this summer, he warned Harry, "It's [Meghan's

bad press] hurting the Royal Family, and especially your grandmother."

Reports got back to the Queen that Meghan's been lying about her father since the engagement,

and now Thomas Markle is like a wounded papa bear, bewildered why Meghan's completely

cut him off.

Mr. Markle is going to the media, spilling his guts, and it's erupted into really bad

press for the Royal Family.

This all could and should have been avoided.

Meghan told the royal PR team after her engagement that she was in contact with her father and

everything was fine regarding his role in the upcoming nuptials, but that just wasn't

true.

Since her engagement, Meghan has only spoken to her father on three occasions.

First, when she and Harry called and the prince asked her for her hand in marriage, then after

she learned he wasn't coming to the wedding, and lastly, on the day after she got married.

It was apparent Thomas Markle had no plans in place to attend the royal wedding in the

week prior to the event.

Meghan told the palace it was all handled.

Then, just four days before the wedding, Markle is still in Mexico, as the Daily Mail reported

on May 15th, "His daughter and Harry are said to be heartbroken by his decision [not

to attend] and will try to change his mind but Mr. Markle has claimed his daughter is

yet to speak to him."

Palace insider Ingrid Seward reports via the Daily Mail, "And while the success of her

wedding to Prince Harry earlier this year had seemed to secure a special place for Meghan

in the affections of the British public, her decision to leave her father isolated threatens

to undo that good work – and leave her with a colder reputation."

Seward adds, "No one has been telling Meghan what to do or what not to do when it comes

to her personal relationship with her father.

The Queen does not intervene in family matters – so it is up to Meghan how she chooses

to deal with her relatives."

That was before the Queen called for these crisis meetings, where she learned the truth.

What the Queen just found out was that Meghan has been lying all along.

Instead of calling her father and helping him get to the wedding and adjust to what

it means to have a daughter who is a duchess in the British Royal Family, she decided to

abandon him and cut him off completely as if he never existed.

The former American actress is infamous for "ghosting" people in her life, but this

time it backfired, big time.

Mr. Markle told the Daily Mail, "I'm really hurt that she's cut me off completely.

I used to have a phone number and text number for her personal aides at the Palace, but

after I said a few critical words about the Royal Family changing Meghan, they cut me

off.

Those numbers were disconnected, they no longer work.

I have no way of contacting my daughter."

Those critical words came after he has been treated badly from day one.

All the fallout, including the staged paparazzi photos, happened because of Meghan's reluctance

to involve her father in her life.

In 2016, Meghan's writing on her blog "The Tig" for Father's Day includes a pic of

her and Thomas, as reported by The Sun.

It's obvious he was in her life, and when she got engaged, he was out.

So now the Queen is left holding the bag of what's being called the "Duchess Disaster."

While Her Majesty can't control Mr. Markle, you bet she will be confronting Meghan about

her lies the minute she shows her face at Balmoral.

control growth of the prostate cancer, so it's sort of a master regulator of a prostate cancer cell.

All of the therapies in current clinical use that target the androgen receptor,

target one specific aspect of its function, but it's become clear that these will never cure patients

and they're associated with some pretty severe side effects as well.

So my team is trying to develop new and smarter ways to target the androgen receptor

that will hopefully be more effective, but also be associated with better quality of life for the patients.

Prostate cancer is a phenomenally common disease in Australia,

it's the most common non skin cancer in Australian men. So you can imagine that a new therapy

that we might be able to develop would have a huge impact on patients,

on individuals, on their loved ones, on their families.

A very smart scientist named Carl Sagan once said,

that somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be found.

And so what I'd like to do when I finish my career is be able to look back and say

I found that something incredible, and it was something that impacted on the lives of patients with cancer.

Another LEGO shop set haul 📦 #234 - Duration: 5:46.

hello again I have another Lego set haul this is from the Lego store itself just

want to show you all what has been most recently added to the queue I did get

one of these the plants from plants little mini set so everything in here

comes from plastics made from plants so I'll open that up right away and just

check out what that looks like and confirm that it's just the same as the

plants are the yet yeah the plants that were made from plastic that's not made

from plants is it's the same plastic big ol partly Korea City Resort has the will

roller coaster track going around the back for the transit system the monorail

system there I wanted to check this one out so I'll build this at some point and

give it a proper review this is what I've been looking forward to for quite a

long time this came out in the UK and some other places in Europe I believe

about a month ago maybe a little bit more than that the same time that the

u.s. got the Statue of Liberty that I reviewed so whenever I never reviewed

that it came out most of the world a little bit before then finally it's come

to North America and I'm really looking forward to checking this out because

that's a true piece of history there and deserves deserves a good review deserves

a good set let's see how that works out more of the unikitty stuff and I

immediately realized that I messed up I I should have gotten the partytime one I

just I've got a couple different lists on a couple different apps for a couple

different reasons and I just got confused and I'll get the the partytime

one locally I actually got three of this so that we can build three of them at

the same time just to save a bunch of time then looking forward to that one

for quite a while also because this I originally thought this was gonna come

out with the previous little miniature release this was a freebie this is the

unikitty castle house build much larger thing than I thought with a much bigger

piece of foldable cardboard in there I'm assuming oh yeah I just didn't didn't

notice that the the sticker sheet does I mean most of the decorations come from

playing stickers but the sticker sheet actually has this iridescent glitter on

it I should have expected that but I didn't I thought they were just gonna be

against a white background so okay if that made that a little bit more

interesting to me for some strange reason fantastic beasts I got the little

one and the big one both this looks like just a really cool set whether you care

about fantastic beasts or not I mean the very the very principle of the the

briefcase now it opens up if it's done well could be really cool and you know

fanciful creatures are always nice a lot of people I appreciate those and the

nibbler is such a cool texture it's almost unbearable uh cool so I'm gonna

put one of these in my revamped Zoo maybe two I'll be in one of the new

exhibits perfect yeah this will probably be the least fun roller coaster ever

that's just my expectation we'll see how that works out I'll give it a fair shot

but it just seems like it just goes down and maybe it'll go all the way around me

go go just half way so I don't have high hopes for this set but the big one down

there there's one that of course I've been looking forward to for quite a

while since it was announced Capital City and again I'll give this a fair

shot see how it how it actually looks you know looking at the looking at the

pictures a little bit more carefully including the alternate pictures they

came up with online some of this looks a little bit disappointing to me but I

still have high for I want this to be good I want to

like this just on principle you know the big city plan sort of sets from

especially the city line are some of the coolest things in prince royal in in

concept at least oh well we'll see how that actually works out but that's all

that i got for this one just wanted to share what I received what I got and

again if you have any preferences for what I should review first out of things

you see right here let me know on that last haul a bunch of you asked for me to

do a lot of you asked for me to do the app controlled Batmobile first out of

the things in that Hall and I was actually going to do that one last I

thought there was the least interest in that given its price and everything but

thank you all for your feedback I will be doing that one first out of that

entire haul so that's that's absolutely wonderful appreciate that again if you

have any preferences here let me know and if I haven't already started

reviewing the stuff by the time that your feedback is in then I will

Amid heatwave, PM Lee Nak-yon vows gov't will provide stable power supply - Duration: 1:38.

Naturally, homes and businesses have been running the air conditioning pretty high the

past couple of weeks.

But that's put strain on the power grid.

The Prime Minister has urged the government to make sure electricity supplies are stable,...

and according to his office, at least, there will be more than enough power when demand

peaks this month.

Cha Sang-mi reports.

Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon, in a meeting Thursday, called on the relevant authorities to make

sure electricity supplies are stable... so that homes and businesses can stay cool, something

that could save lives.

"Last month the government forecast this summer's maximum power demand to 88-point-3 million

kilowatts, but the actual demand has surpassed 90 million.

The energy ministry's forecasting model proved to be mostly precise, but the heat has been

unexpectedly severe and prolonged."

The Prime Minister's Secretariat said peak power demand last month surpassed 92-point-4

million kilowatts, more than was expected.

But he also said the government has now secured 173-million kilowatts of power capacity in

preparation for demand to peak in the second and third weeks of August.

And they're not letting their guard down -- they've also got another 6-point-8 as back-up.

For more dependable management of the electricity supply, the Prime Minister also called for

the launch of a task force consisting of civilian experts who would look out for unexpected

situations and manage risks.

Lee called on other ministries and authorities to make doubly sure that power supplies are

stable... because when people get back from vacation in the coming days, demand is going

to surge again.

Gov't says it'll raise minimum wage by 10.9% to US$ 7.40 next year - Duration: 0:45.

After much deliberation, the Korean government has finalized next year's minimum wage,...

raising it by over ten percent despite concerns from local employers.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor says it has decided to raise the minimum wage by

10-point-9-percent to about seven dollars and 40 cents an hour for next year,... up

from the current 6 dollars and 70 cents.

The new minimum wage works out to just over 15-hundred dollars a month based on a 40-hour

work week.

The ministry says it will to all the nation's industries.

The move is expected to cause more backlash from businesses and employers who have argued

against higher labor costs.

The minimum wage had already been increased for this year by 16-point-4-percent.

Trump receives letter from N.K. leader: White House - Duration: 2:29.

President Trump received a letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un this week,... coinciding

with the return of potentially dozens of America's war dead from the North.

So the two leaders' now-cordial relationship continues, and the White House says the administration

is open to a second Kim-Trump summit.

The White House on Thursday confirmed that,...

U.S. President Donald Trump received a letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong-un earlier

this week.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed the news of the letter,...

adding that "the ongoing correspondence between the two leaders is aimed at following up on

their meeting in Singapore and advancing the commitments" made in their joint statement

back in June.

"He did receive a letter, I believe he received it on August 1st. (cut) We have responded

to Chairman Kim's letter, the president has, and that letter will be delivered shortly.

Beyond that, I can't get into any further details.

I can say that the letters addressed their commitment from their joint statement that

was made at the Singapore summit and they're going to continue working towards complete

and total denuclearization."

This comes as the U.S. leader mentioned the letter in a tweet earlier Thursday,...

thanking Kim for the (quote) "nice letter".

Trump also thanked the North Korean leader for sending home the remains of the American

soldiers killed during the Korean War,... and added that he looks forward to seeing

him soon.

Last Friday,... coinciding with the anniversary of the signing of Armistice Agreement,...

North Korea returned the remains of 55 American soldiers.

While it's hoped that the repatriation will build momentum toward North Korea's nuclear

disarmament,... many say the progress towards securing a firm commitment from Pyongyang

has been slow.

Meanwhile, the U.S. says it is open to discussions about a second meeting between Trump and Kim,...

although nothing has been planned yet.

In a regular press briefing on Thursday,... the White House press secretary said a second

meeting has not been "currently locked in or finalized",... but added that the White

House is open to that discussion.

Sanders also reaffirmed the U.S's firm commitment on the UN sanctions on North Korea,...

while mentioning that Trump will not be satisfied until a complete denuclearization.

Trump has previously said that he would be open to inviting Kim to Washington, while

there is also talk of a possible meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in

September.

Zimbabwe's election commission has declared incumbent leader Emmerson Mnangagwa as the

winner of the country's first presidential election post-Robert Mugabe.

Soo-young, it looks like Zimbabwe's ruling party will hold onto power.

But the opposition is claiming fraud, and really, it was a close race, wasn't it?

That's right.

Officials say President Mnangagwa won with 50-point-eight percent of the vote,... while

his main opponent Nelson Chamisa picked up just over 44 percent.

The results were announced in a televised statement Thursday,... a day after six people

died in violent clashes between civilians and security forces.

Opposition supporters were protesting what they saw as a rigged general election,...

where the ruling Zanu-PF Party claimed a two-thirds majority of the seats in parliament.

The main opposition party Movement for Democratic Change,... had already rejected the outcome

of the presidential vote days before it was announced,... and claimed that Chamisa was

the winner.

Party chairman Morgan Komichi has in fact vowed to challenge Mnangagwa's win through

the courts.

The southern African nation held its first presidential and general elections since its

long-serving ruler Robert Mugabe was ousted from office last year.

Many have hoped the watershed vote would lead to progress in democracy and economic growth

for the country.

Mobile shopping takes up to 61.8% of online shopping - Duration: 1:32.

These days almost everybody buys at least some stuff online.

But now, data show most online shopping isn't even done on a computer but on mobile devices.

Some of the biggest gains in Korea have been seen in food delivery.

People in other countries too are using their mobiles to buy Korean products.

Hong Yoo has this report.

Mobile shopping is now the most actively form of online shopping.

Purchases made using the internet and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs

represented 61.8% of all online shopping for the second quarter of 2018.

That is the highest number ever since the government has begun collecting data of online

shopping since January, 2003.

According to Statistics Korea, money used on online shopping increased by 21.

5 percent compared to the same quarter of last year.

And within that increase, money used in mobile shopping increased by 32.9 percent.

Mobile food delivery alone made more than 800 million dollars, due to the rapid growth

of mobile food delivery services by 88 percent compared to last year's second quarter.

The increase was also reflected in the increase of foreign buyers using Korean online shopping

platforms.

Chinese customers once again took the lead among foreign buyers, with Japan and the ASEAN

bloc taking 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

Items that foreigners were more interested in buying were cosmetics, apparels and electric

devices.

S. Korea baking in temps over 40 degrees in worst ever heatwave - Duration: 2:11.

If you're in Korea, be careful out there today in the heat.

We're going to be in the upper 30s again across most of the country.

The same goes for this weekend, and still no rain in the forecast.

As our Won Jung-hwan reports, this heatwave has proven extremely dangerous.

It looks like it's going to stay extremely hot in Seoul and other parts of the country.

Heatwave warnings are in effect across almost the entire nation.

In Seoul on Thursday it hit 37-point-5 Celsius,... down 2-point-1 degrees from the record-breaking

day before when it soared to its highest in 111 years.

Forecasters say the temperature dipped because of more clouds in the sky, which reduced the

amount of sunshine.

According to meteorologists,… high atmospheric pressure from Tibet and prolonged dryness

have contributed to the extremely hot weather.

And warm, dry air blown down from the eastern Taebaek Mountains has pushed up temperatures

in the western and inland region, including the capital.

The nights aren't much cooler either, with some parts of the country experiencing 'super

tropical nights',… where the temperature stays above 30 degrees Celsius all night.

There were several incidents caused by the heatwave.

In one incident, a KTX train travelling from Haengsin station on Wednesday afternoon was

without air conditioning for over an hour after the system stopped working in 10 train

carriages.

"The crowd all gathered in some carriage where the air conditioning was working, but to be

honest, it was like a train carrying refugees, children crying and screaming."

According to data from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,… more than

2,200 people have been hospitalized with heatstroke or heat exhaustion, and 28 people have died

from heat-related illnesses since mid-May.

The heatwave hit after the rainy season ended on July 11th,... and it's forecast to continue

through early August.

The number of people suffering from heat-related health conditions is expected to skyrocket

this year to well over 20-thousand.

South Korea's foreign minister continues bilateral talks with Japanese and Russian counterparts - Duration: 2:37.

More diplomats are arriving in Singapore today for the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting.

This morning, North Korea's foreign minister, Ri Yong-ho, also arrived.

We'll have more on his activities later in the day,... but in the meantime, South Korea's

foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha continued holding bilateral talks on Thursday with her

counterparts.

Our Foreign Ministry correspondent Lee Ji-won reports from Singapore.

Having spent the day before with her counterparts from Southeast Asia, South Korea's foreign

minister Kang Kyung-wha held bilateral talks with Northeast Asian foreign ministers on

Thursday.

Minister Kang started the day's meetings with Russia's Sergei Lavrov in the late afternoon.

Unlike what many had expected, they did not focus on North Korea's denuclearization, but

more on how the two Koreas and Russia can cooperate on economic issues.

But noting how not much progress can be made due to international sanctions on North Korea,

the two diplomats simply reviewed the joint research on gas and railway projects.

Minister Kang then had talks with Japanese foreign minister Taro Kono.

The two once again agreed that economic sanctions on North Korea must remain in place until

concrete steps are taken by Pyongyang.

The two also exchanged views on bilateral issues, including Japan's sexual enslavement

of Korean women during World War II.

Minister Kang explained that the South Korean government had recently allocated a budget

to replace Tokyo's roughly 9 million U.S. dollar fund for the sex slavery victims, and

minister Kono requested that South Korea "handle the matter well", but did not further elaborate.

Kang's meeting with Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi,... was postponed to Friday due to

a delay in the Chinese side's schedule.

Wang, during a press conference late Thursday, said he supports a declaration of the end

of the Korean War.

"We don't think that any country in today's world, the United States included, wants to

see war breaking out again.

Thus, the declaration of the end of the [Korean] war is in keeping with the trend of our time

and reflects the aspiration of people of all countries including the two countries on the

Korean Peninsula."

Answering a reporter's question on lifting economic sanctions on Pyongyang, Wang said

that it obviously needs to be reconsidered along with the progress made in Pyongyang's

denuclearization.

South Korea's top diplomat will try to reschedule her meeting with the Chinese foreign minister

for Friday, in between her other meetings with counterparts from South East Asia.

Hi friends! Wecome to Deepa's Adukkala

Today I am going to prepare DOSA

I remember the taste, in my childhood days my mom used to prepare

This is Tamil Nadu special "Ada Dosa"

Ingredients required for "Ada Dosa"

Half glass (120 gm) Raw Rice and Half Glass (120 gm) Parboiled Rice

Black Gram - 60 gm

Pigeon Pea - 60 gm

Bengal Gram - 60 gm

Green Gram/Cherupayar - 60 gm

Fenugreek - two teaspoon

Dry Red Chilli - 08

Clean all and soak in water for about one hour.

except rice rest of the stuff can be soaked together

and then we need

one medium size onion

chopped into small pieces [as shown]

then - small piece ginger, garlic cloves -3

Asafoetida - 0.25 teaspoon and Curry leaves (cut in small pieces

these are the ingredients required for "Ada Dosa"

take a mixer jar (for preparing batter)

add soaked red chilly (now its no more dry 😋)

add ginger and garlic

add little water

let us grind it

stuff is grinded properly

adjust the quantity of chilli according to your preference

add soaked rice

and then

add required water to the rice (we need to grind)

let us grind it

no need to grind too finely

rice grinded as required

now add Fenugreek

add Black Gram , Pigeon Pea,

Bengal Gram and Green Gram/Cherupayar

and let us add 60 ml of water

let us grind it (not too finely)

batter is ready

now add Asafoetida powder and Curry leaves

one teaspoon salt

now just grind the stuff for 10 seconds

now batter is properly grinded

Instead of using a mixer you can also use a grinder machine

transfering the batter to a pot

fermentation is not required

we can cook right away at this stage

that is called Ada Dosa

and now add onion or shallots will also do

I have taken onion

mix well

this is the thickness of batter

now we are ready

at this time you can check salt..

I am adding half teaspoon salt

mix well

place a pan on flame

pan is hot

now pour batter as shown 👆

keep in low flame 🔥

🙋🏻 if you are not using non-stick pan then apply some cooking oil before pouring batter

this is protein rich recipe

batter contains all protein rich ingredients

this is healthy recipe

one side is cooked properly

apply gingelly oil as shown

gingelly oil gives a special taste to Dosa

swap side

after minute check if it is cooked

wow.. Ada Dosa is Crispy Ready

let us move to a plate

I will show you quickly how to prepare CHUTNEY

take mixer jar

add two or three shallots

two green chilli

little grated coconut and water

grind

grind as shown

place a pan on flame... when hot

add two teaspoon cooking oil

when the oil is hot add mustards half teaspoon

add one dry red chilli

low flame 🔥

add curry leaves

pour the coconut grinded mix into it

add little water

mix and add salt to taste

I am adding half teaspoon salt

for this quantity half teaspoon is enough

I am not adding much water...

don't let the stuff to boil

when its hot, turn off flame

check salt

for me it is okay

now let us shift the stuff to another bowl
