What motivated you to think Japan has to be pinpoint for regulational context?

I think there are two points.

We have the topic of the EU GDPR for platforms.

A lot of people have in fact been hurt by blockchains.

We must consider protecting novices and investors.

Each country is looking for balance.

Reg Tech is the other interesting one.

Not much could be done on the Internet in its infancy.

Wired was like that too.

The business model was the Internet.

Marketing agencies were selling the Internet.

Magazines were sold next.

Bitcoin and blockchains are today's commodities.

The big concern is regulation.

Countries want to gain the technical understanding.

I think we will see rapid development in technologies for such regulation.

GAFA may become a layer above these technologies as platforms.

Some countries may offer cross-national services to handle this as platforms.

What role do you think nations will take?

Nations have the police or military.

Both have authority for physical force.

Nations also have land and taxes.

So, anything in the real world is done through the nation as the landlord.

The nation may have a monopoly on physical force.

The Internet has the potential for a different type of power.

Quite large companies in modern times are able to sway national interests.

They can lobby and create laws.

Nations are already in a struggle with various other entities over power.

Will a major entity with force able to regulate form outside of a nation?

There are philosophical entities active out there like the United Nations.

However, the member nations have power not the United Nations.

Members debate their interests with only few advocating for all.

Terrorists are the closest entity, but not nearly as organized as a nation.

ISIS will not see that power.

A movement could generate power beyond a nation.

The US #MeToo for instance.

A more organized version is Time's Up.

These movements can spread worldwide and organize.

These structures could innovate and overturn the male society globally.

Millennials give you hope.

Yes. Their generation is strong.

The communication is excellent and we see many types of movements recently.

How to Setup Promotion Daily Rate in e-Bridge Cloud – OTA Hotel 3.5 - Duration: 1:45.

Click Admin.

Click Room Rate Setup on the left.

Enter the Rate Code name and the Description of the promotion.

Click the calendar for the date range you would like this promotion to take effect.

Choose the remaining details.

Choose the Room Type and Room Numbers applicable for this promotion.

Enter the rest of the details and then click Add Rate.

Click OK on the drop down screen.

Go to the Pricing tab.

Click Table View.

Go back to the Pricing tab.

Choose Room on the Product drop down menu.

Choose the day(s) of the week this promotion will be applicable on.

On the right side, choose the month(s) this promotion will be applicable.

Enter the Amount

You can have these inclusive or not of Service and Fees by clicking the button. Rates can be valid or not on Holidays. Then click Add Item.

Go back to the Pricing tab.

If this promotion has a different rate on the weekends, you can add this by doing the same previous steps.

Click Add User once finished.

For Internet, you can click on the Time tab to block the entire week.

Then continue with the same steps.

Make sure to hit the Add Item button once you are finished.

Go back to the Pricing tab and continue adding on different products.

For Breakfast, make sure you only highlight the specific time when it is served.

Then continue with the same steps, clicking the Add Item button after.

Follow the same steps for every product that you will add.

Always clicking the Add Item button once you are done.

For the Extra Person charge, click on the Rate Setting button if you will apply a late check out fee as well.

Click the Update button.

Click OK on the drop down screen.

Double check the late check out fee by clicking the rate settings.

Click Rules View then hit the Pricing tab again to find all the products you have added.

Click Home.

Then Walk Ups.

And click on Daily to find the promotion that you have just set up.

How to Setup a Promotion Rate in e-Bridge Cloud – OTA Hotel 3.5 - Duration: 2:08.

Click Admin, then click Room Rate Setup.

Add the promotion name and the description of the promotion.

On the calendar add the date range of the promotion.

Click the room numbers you would like to include on this promotion then select the room category on the Rate Type.

Remember to click the Add Item button after every additional input.

If you will set up breakfast rate in conjunction to this promotion, highlight the specific time on the table.

Then choose the months, amount and the fees or taxes included or excluded.

Hit the Add Item button after.

For Internet charges, follow the same steps.

Click the Add Item button after.

Follow the same steps, for every item that you will add.

Click the Add item button after.

For Extra Person, after hitting the Add Item button, go back to Pricing and click the Rate Settings button.

On the window, tick late checkout fee if applicable.

On the Late Fee Product menu click Fee and on the Extra Guest Code drop down button choose Extra Person.

Then hit the Update button.

Hit OK on the "Record successfully added" window.

Click the Pricing button then click Rules View then hit the Pricing tab again.

Here you will find all the products and fees that you have just added to this particular promotion.

Click the Rate tab then Rates List to view all the rates you have set up.

Clicking the search icon will show you the details of that particular rate.

welcome to the carnotaurus vs sinoceratops

Dino battle

this will be the first time we'll see an

herbivore battle in this arena who do

you think will win comment right now the

combatants are entering the arena the

Carnotaurus was one of the fastest

theropods have ever existed.

the sinoceratops gets its name from

China where its fossils were discovered.

Anakin and obi-wan are sizing each other

up before they go head-to-head! looks

like they're about to engage.

Anakin gets the first hit on Obi-wan. he

is repositioning to the high ground.

it seems as though Obi-wan is trying to talk

anakin out of this.

I don't think talking to a Carnotaurus

would be of much help to obi-wan. Anakin

gets another good bite in Obi-wan but

Obi-wan hits back with a horn

strike to Anakin's face.

Obi-wan goes for another surprise attack

this is Anakin's last chance to hit obi-wan.

But he gets hit from Obi-wan's counter attack.

Can this massive invention save our oceans? - Behind the News - Duration: 3:20.

MATT: If you close your eyes and squint a bit,

you could pretend this 600-metre-long tube

is some kind of giant ocean snake.

It's not, though.

It's a device with a very special mission -

to catch the ocean's rubbish, or at least some of it.

It's being towed out to a part of the Pacific Ocean

known as the Great Garbage Patch.

The water currents here

happen to make lots of plastic rubbish drift together,

and I mean lots -

an area almost the size of Queensland.

Until now, it's been too difficult, too big,

and too expensive to do much about it.

That was until this guy came along, Boyan Slat.

This snake thing was his idea,

and it all started when he was still at school.

I realised, back in high school, there might be an alternative.

For a school project,

he designed a system of floating barriers

that would be up to 100 kilometres long.

They'd sit in the path of ocean currents, in a V-shape,

to capture and funnel any floating plastic.

Then these giant towers would suck it all up.

Instead of going after the plastic,

you could simply wait for the plastic to come to you.

We've spent a lot of time telling you about plastic pollution on BTN.

Yup, a recent study found that Aussies discard

more than 9 billion pieces of plastic every year.

Unlike paper or cardboard,

plastic takes a really, really long time to break down.

GIRL: I've come to realise that our precious marine life

are getting killed by the so-called innocent plastic bag.

But finding solutions hasn't been easy,

and with so much plastic already in our oceans

killing our marine life,

Boyan and his organisation, Ocean Cleanup,

are hopeful they can tackle the problem

one giant snake at a time.

I mean, this is pretty incredible.

I mean, something that we've been working towards for five years.

And just having it seen from the early conceptual sketches

to, you know, now the first unit

actually going through the Golden Gate

and heading to the garbage patch is pretty incredible.

It's aiming to trap some of the 1.8 trillion pieces of plastic

that scientists estimate are swirling around here,

while still letting marine life safely swim beneath it.

It's fitted with solar powered lights, cameras,

sensors and satellite antennas,

and the design will make it easy for boats to fish out

the collected plastic every few months

and transport it to dry land where it will be recycled.

Boyan is now 24,

and despite the years of work that have gone into this,

he says the system will still get some more tweaks

in the coming months.

The hope is to take it even further,

by letting 60 of these giant snakes loose on the Pacific Ocean by 2020.

That's a lot of hungry snakes who surely won't be going hungry.

But hopefully they do, at some point.

he might stay in the team.
