10 Ways to Improve Combat Maps in D&D - Duration: 7:06.

Do your D&D combat maps need a little something to take them to the next level?

In this video, I'm going to fire off a bunch of ways you can improve your combat maps to

make them more engaging and fun for your players.

Hey, Luke Hart here.

Today we're talking about combat maps!

And just in case you're new to my channel, I've been a dungeon master since high school,

and I create weekly D&D videos with information and resources to help dungeon masters run

awesome games.

Okay, here's the thing.

If look at almost any module's maps, you'll see pretty much bare rooms.

Now, yeah, the descriptive text will tell you that there's stuff in those room,

but it's super easy to skip over placing all that stuff on the map when you're actually

running a combat.

Or, if you do homebrew, there can be an equal tendency to just draw our combat maps basic

walls, but not much else.

But we don't want to do that!

We want to put things on our maps to make combats more interesting and engaging for

our players.

So, what I'm going to do in this video is go over 10 different sorts of things you can

add to your combat maps – both in design and implementation at your table – to make

them kick [sensored language] Remember, to stay tuned to the end of the

video for a special DM Bonus Tip!

Number 10, add areas of difficult terrain.

These can be bushes, knee-deep mud, a steep slope – anything like that.

Difficult terrain introduce the puzzle of movement to your players, making them consider

not only where they want to go, but HOW to get there.

And if you're really devious, introduce mechanics whereby the enemies don't suffer

the effects of that terrain but your players do.

[whisper] Psst – it's good to be devious, DMs.

Number 9, introduce different levels and elevations.

So there could be a balcony or a platform of some sort.

Outdoors enemies could be in trees or at the top of a ravine the PCs are foolishly walking

along the bottom of.

See, overcoming the challenge of elevation adds another element to the battle for your

players to experience.

Remember, the world is not flat!

And moving on to number 8!

Place hazards on your maps.

Anything that causes a dangerous situation for the PCs is interesting.

Think about a cliff they could fall off – or push the enemy off!

A bottomless pit.

A flaming door.

Spiked chains they need to climb.

I don't know, you think of stuff.

I'm just trying to make a simple list video here because they do really well with audience

retention.

And number 7 – Add special terrain-related events that occur during the combat.

For instance, in round 2, the a boulder falls in the river of molten lava nearby, causing

lava to splash all over the place.

Being burned by lava is the sort of thing your players will appreciate.

Or, you might have a 33% chance of an earthquake occurring in each round.

And if it does, everyone might need to make a Dex save or be knocked from their feet.

And rocks and stalactite might fall from the ceiling on top of everyone, dealing damage.

Number 6 – Throw some traps on the combat map that trigger during the fight!

This one right here is LOTS of fun! [stuttering] At least for the dungeon master.

[wierd voice] Oh really, you wanna step there, do you?

BAM!

Pit trap! [maniacal laughing] Gotcha sucka!

And then the enemies gather around to shoot the PCs full of arrows while they try to climb

out.

Now, that just sounds like a grand old time to me.

Number 5, [pause while thinking] oh, what is number five?

Add environmental features and objects that not only can be interacted with, but are important

to the combat.

For instance, there could be several control panels on the walls that, if smashed, cause

the iron golems the PCs are fighting to shut down.

Or, you could have gouts of flame coming out of the floor that the iron golems constantly

walk through, thus healing themselves.

Or an electrified floor controlled by levers.

You might fry the enemies or yourself!

And numba 4 – maps that move and/or change during the combat.

I don't know, floor tiles fall away or walls rearrange themselves.

Maybe every round the PCs are teleported to a new area with new enemies to fight.

Or the PCs and enemies are static and the environment shifts to something new each round

– from a room to the middle of a desert with sand storms and then perhaps to the to

the edge of a cliff.

Number 3, map elements that encourage non-standard tactics.

So, maybe you have several alarm bells positioned about a chamber with a patrol of guards.

And then the heroes need to use stealth to disable the guards (or the bells) before a

warning can be sounded.

If the air in a certain chamber explodes when exposed to blood, the PCs would need to find

different ways to defeat their foes than just slicing their heads off.

Number two – mess with lighting and visibility.

There are few things more frustrating that not being able to see the battle map and attacking

with disadvantage.

Actually, you know, there are lots of things more frustrating than that, but it still sucks.

But anyway, things like fog and globes of darkness make things much more exciting.

I actually have a reputation with my players for LOVING to use darkness on them.

Like all the time.

But hey, you now what, they did it to me first, so fair's fair.

I mean, honestly, I learn almost all of my dirty tricks from my players.

They are like corrupting my mind…

And number 1, use standing liquids.

And notice I didn't say water.

But I mean you could use water.

A couple rooms have knee-deep standing water in them with random objects under the surface

that threaten to trip PCs as they walk through it.

But moving away from water, something like acid on the floor.

Now that's fun!

How about a well full of water allowing your players to use it for enhanced interrogation

techniques.

By the way, are you interested in free D&D adventures you can run at your table and other

free Dungeon Master resources?

If so, check out my website, thedmlair.com.

Alright!

Time for the DM bonus tip!

Don't put all 10 things I just got done describing in the same combat map.

Holy crap, over achiever, calm down.

Just use a couple of those things.

That seems a little ironic -- me telling other people to calm down?

Adding just two or three of these elements to a combat map is probably enough.

Follow the Keep It Simple Stupid principle here.

You want to make things more interesting for your players, not completely overwhelm them.

The Temples told by: David Pearl - Duration: 2:55.

[David Pearl] I'm David Pearl.

I write about and teach Story.

I do this all over the world with businesses,

with governments and organizations

and so on.

I do it because I think that story is a key to developing

a future that we can all be proud of.

There are many stories around...

which are not so great, toxic stories and you see them

in the media the whole time.

But actually story has always been and always will be

a way of engaging large numbers of people

and binding together in stories that really we owe to have.

So if you look around, you know, the media

is constantly searching for stories,

facebook, everyone's looking for stories.

I have an interest in making sure the stories that we tell

are the most uplifting most inspiring.

It's our role and it's our job and our responsibility also,

to create great stories we'd be proud to live.

The story of Damanhur and the stories they've collected here are amazing.

I'm saying that in the Maze, which is literally amazing.

There are many collections of stories around the world,

but they tend to be academic in a dry book shelves

full of old wisdom.

What's amazing here and I mean truly amazing,

is, that all this history has been brought together

in a playful way. A way that makes you feel....

young and fresh

There are these incredible possibilities.

So at the same time, when you walk through this Temple...

and for me this is unique;

it's a simultaneous combination of the very profound

and the very joyful, the very light.

You're not being kind of pushed into a

particular way of thinking or into a particular tradition.

You are invited to play in this extraordinary playground,

This Universal collection of the world's traditions.

It's really unique.

So here at Damanhur is the repository of stories

from really every culture.

The world needs a new story

that we can connect with and live

and that's what's happening here.

So what I find personally inspiring

and also regenerative for me is:

This shouldn't be possible....

And everything in your brain that says:

"This shouldn't exist".

But the fact that Damanhur exists,

the fact that a place of such intricacy

and such a creative effort exist

in the way it does, inspires me every time I come here.

And just remember; 'Yeah, never mind what anyone says in the world.

This is possible!

So I find this inspiring for me.

I invite and I urge other people to come for the same reason.

Which is: DREAM BIG!

This is a big dream made real!

Weekend In Belfast, Northern Ireland [Part 2] - Duration: 6:08.

Morning Guys so it's day 2 here in Belfast. We're all up and excited, we're all wide awake

So just checked out of our hotel the Parador inn so if you're definitely come to Belfast

Ask for Peter he's a legend and had a great stay where the room was gorgeous

really comfy as well so absolutely happy with that so now we're going to go to

Subway for breakfast because we woke up a lot later than we expected I'm going

to go on the hop on hop off tour around Belfast

so we're just back at to Titanic

Belfast and we were talking to the taxi driver cuz we were gonna get on

the hop on tour bus from here and then start going around but the taxi driver

says that their company actually offers a tour for 24 pounds for the hour

and to kinda go around see the main sites and basically you're in the taxi

which would be a bit warmer as well it's absolutely freezing out there

and there's 3 of us here so we said well we might as well do that

So we're at the peace wall now and this was put up in 1969 to separate Catholics and Protestants

so right now this is a Protestant area and up there is the Catholic area it's just mad

and people sign it and give good messages for peace

so someday hopefully that will come

These garden's here been protected to stop people from throwing stuff over the wall

that's all burn marks from petrol bombs and this stuff still happens today

it's the next day then I was waiting for the Sun to come out so I can actually film

and have a little chat so basically I've really enjoyed myself

in Belfast had a great weekend and definitely 100% recommend visiting I feel a

lot of people skip Belfast when they come to Ireland kinda I know it's

part of Northern Ireland and is technically part of Britain but I think like a lot

of people come they see Dublin they see the cliffs of moher at that kind of

thing and i think it's a real shame because like a lot of people skip

belfast and there's a very key part of Irish history and it's a part that I

think everybody needs to see kind of it's a total different aspect as well

because it has a very troubled past and case you don't know Ireland is split into 2 parts

it's the Republic of Ireland and

Northern Ireland and was once ruled by the British for 800 years and a

spit in 1921 then to become north and northerner and and Republic the North

itself is further split into two parts as well between the Catholics and the

Protestants or the nationalists or unionists whatever you want to call them

Catholics identify themselves as Irish Protestants identify themselves as British

and there's a lot of tension there especially when you go to the likes of

West Belfast where we went on the taxi tour it's very clear the divide and it's

mad and like there's still tension and conflict even to this day in 2019 we

went to the peace wall as well which you've seen that was put up in 1969 and

since then like they just keep adding more and more peace walls to divide them

and to split them up because they were fighting so much and there's even places

where there's gates that lock after a certain time at night to stop people

from interacting and kind of keep them separate and I think that's just really

sad in certain areas in certain

neighborhoods if I really felt like I didn't belong there it's not just

because I's from the republic it's kinda, I don't know and it was on both

sides as well on the Catholic and the Protestant side it just felt very dodgy

and I just really felt a sense that I should not be there and it just

felt more like gangland situation like a mafia or

something like that I don't know what way to describe it but it was just crazy to

think that after all these years and it still happens people still throw stuff

over the walls people still attack people because of where they come from

or what they believe in and it's just very sad and it's definitely a part of

Ireland that people need to see cuz it's a darker side and it's a very important

part of the history as well of the whole islands not just north or south it's up

the whole island I'm not trying to deter anyone from visiting Belfast it is a

hundred percent on my recommendation is when you come to Ireland see the South

but also see the north as well and I would love to go back up as well to see

more of Northern Ireland as well so I really hope you enjoyed this video if

you did leave the like comment and also hit subscribe as well you know what to

check me out on social media Facebook Instagram and Twitter all the links are

down below in the description and I should see you for another video bye

TOP4FOOTBALL TV - Nike PhantomVNM + jak udělat zeměkouli - Duration: 3:05.

Hi, you're watching Top4Football TV and today,

we'll be seeing, as you expect, a brand new Nike boots...

- Nike Phantom Venom!

- Apparently, I won't be alone today.

- Cause there's me. - Talent of 2017, talent of 2018 and Sparta Prague striker, Andrea Stašková.

- Hi! - Hello!

- And we'll be learning the Around the world trick together today.

- We'll start with... - Warm up!

- Wait, what? - Because of speed and to see the new outsole a bit.

- But I'm warmed up already. - Just go for a run, come on.

First, we'll learn the trick from standing position.

The trick happens in two phases. First: your foot releases the ball and goes up,

Second: the foot has to get from the highest point back under the ball.

Movement of the leg starts in your hips, however the direction is set by knee.

The instep is slightly inclined to your shin so the ball doesn't move forward.

If you can make it from standing position, it's time to learn it from keepy-uppies.

But first, commercial break.

- Hi Andy! - Hi Honza!

- What is that on your feet? Those are not Hypervenoms. - They are Venoms, but Phantom Venom!

- I have to say, the colour is wonderful.

- Not just that, the innovations are great too.

- Then tell me, there's not much space to create anything new on a football boot.

- You'd be surprised Honza.

The new Phantom Venom includes several textured zones to ensure

powerful strike and especially perfect precision.

- Do you see these 13 blades? - Of course I do, but what are they for?

- This is "Precision Power" zone, each blade has

specific angle to compensate wrong impact in case you misplace the shot.

- But what does that mean in reality? - That even you hit the target, Honza!

Moving to around the world from keepy-uppies.

We're hiting the ball more with the outter part of foot

and we start the movement immediately after kicking the ball.

We never just kick the ball up and then start the rotation.

Ideally, keep your just above the ball and do not lean back while doing the trick.

- The goal should be to do multiple Around the worlds in a row.

- Or to do a double Around the world!

- In an extreme case - a triple Around the world. - We'll leave this for next time.

- I'll be seeing you in next episodes of Top4Football TV, have a good one. Bye!

Insights Leadership Week - Interview with Ana Paola Muñoz - Duration: 1:39.

Making More Health is a global program in which Boehringer Ingelheim

makes a link between business and social knowledge

which aims to contain and modify the existing health systems,

with disruptive and innovative ideas.

As this is a global program

I had the opportunity to participate with many collaborators

to generate together innovative ideas to offer

in this particular case to Indian society.

What I experienced in India was a seven-day program,

during which they took us to know the culture of India

where we visited hospitals, schools and universities, to be really involved with people and culture.

In this way we could achieve this project to generate an innovative idea

to present to the people of a community,

and that this idea would be beneficial for their community,

for example allowing them to create a business

This program left me with a really incredible and indescribable

life experience that I try to apply in my daily labor every day

Since I came back from India,

it has make me value more life and the things that I have here

I am convinced that I can transmit this experience to the people around me

if I put it into practice every day,

and that way we will be able to achieve much more important things

(sub) WHAT'S IN MY BAG 🎒 카페 갈 때 들고 가는 백팩 - Duration: 17:25.

Hi, guys!

Today, I'm going to be doing a What's in My Bag video which a lot of you guys have asked me to do.

Few days ago, I asked you guys to vote between the backpack I carry when I go to coffee shop

and other bag that I carry when I go other places except the coffee shop.

(I usually go to coffee shop to study or read books, so there must be some differences in bags.)

Technically, most people chose the backpack which I carry when I go to coffee shop to study or read books.

However, so many of you guys asked me to show both bags in the video

so for today, I'll show you guys my backpack because still so many of you guys voted for that

and the other bag, I'll show it to you guys in my vlog later.

So today, I'll do What's in My BACKPACK :)

This backpack... which is slightly big as you can see.

This is my trusty backpack which I got maybe two years ago from the website called 1300k.

It was so affordable and I've been using it very well.

And it's the only backpack that I own ;)

Before getting into the backpack,

let me show you this little pin badge.

Yes, it's harry potter pin badge.

It's in book shape with the Golden Snitch on it.

And it's in... kind of hologram color.

I got it from twitter.

Then let's see what's inside in my backpack.

First, let me start with this small pocket on the front.

There is a water bottle.

It's for 200ml water.

I had only seen the 300ml bottle before, but recently found this one.

Isn't it so cute?

I remember that I showed you guys so many of Halls candy in my last What's in My Video.

Yes, Halls again.

Lime flavored Halls,

and super strong mint flavored Halls.

I always carry these three types of Halls.

There's a small pack of tissue paper.

And this is my card holder.

I bought this from a website called Melon-Soda.

I used Beanpole card holder before but it became too old and loose so my card fell out

so I bought this new one. Actually, I got this a while ago, but still, it's the new one.

You may know why I got this :)

This string stretches like this which I don't prefer, but...

yes, Snoopy. I love him.

And the next one.

They are my new bluetooth earphones which are Vasa Blå from the brand called Sudio.

They kindly sent me these, so now I'm using them :)

I only used the basic earphones that have long wire and I found out some inconvenient things.

They often snagged on something.

Besides, when I film vlog videos, you may have seen the wire dangling on the corner of the frame.

It always bothered me when I edited my videos.

And after I bought my new iphone, you know, the shape of earphone cable changed.

So when I carried my laptop, I had to carry the other earphones because the iphone earphones didn't fit.

So sometimes I carried my iphone AND SAMSUNG EARPHONES which drove me crazy.

But these bluetooth earphones solved all the problems.

Sudio provided the discount code.

In the official site of Sudio, you can get 15% discount by using the code 'diana' which is my English name!

It is available until April 30th.

And they are also having a promotion event now, so if you're interested in that, check it out on the website.

They also sent this leather case with the earphones.

I just showed you guys me taking out these from the case

but actually, I put on the earphones right after leaving my home,

so usually they are not in my bag. They are on my ears...

But because this is What's in My Bag video, so I showed them to you guys like this ;)

Also my iphone, which I can't show you guys because I'm using now for filming this video

but literally I ALWAYS carry it with me so...

so let's count it as one of the products in my bag... It's one of my necessaries.

Anyway, we finished looking inside this pocket, so let's move on to this main one.

Let me first show you what's in this pocket.

I sometimes carry my laptop with me, and sometimes not.

But these days, I don't. It's too heavy.

Instead, I put my Korean history textbook in this pocket.

Recently, I've been studying Korean history as you know, so I carry this book with me to the coffee shop

and by referring this textbook, I take some notes on the other book. That's how I study.

And I also have a hand warmer in here which I got from a pharmacy.

This pocket is now empty, so let me show you these things in front which are kind of main things.

The first thing is my 엑시무스 toy camera.

Because it's a toy camera, there are no flashlight or aperture thing

literally pressing this shutter is everything.

So if you take photos indoors with this one, the photos would be just black with nothing.

It's best to take photos outdoors in a sunny bright day.

It's a bit annoying that you can't take photos indoors,

but when it comes to outdoors, you can get beautiful photos with this one.

I really love the photos that I took with this camera.

Moving on to the next one, my purse.

This is...

I forgot the name again...

I remember that I forgot the name of the brand in my last What's in My Bag video.

(I forgot the name again!! I always forget it for some reason!!)

I think it's called 라메트 or 라마트 but I forgot... (It's Lamatt. I googled it.)

Anyway, it's my purse ;)

There must be some money.

But it's What's in My Bag video, so let's see what's inside.

My identification card, cash receipt card, library card,

and my useless student ID card for uni... (Why I said 'useless' is because I already graduated...)

And how much money...

only 3000 won...

Why are there so many freaking receipts in here?

I expected that there would be much money because the purse was heavy, but they were all receipts.

:(

By the way, I have this coupon.

It's a discount coupon for a Tonkatsu place that I like.

It says that you can get 1000 won discount if you take this coupon with you.

I love there. So good.

And let's see what other coupons I have in here.

It's a business card from In Studio where I visit for film developing.

And this coupon is from the coffee shop that I went with my friend few years ago.

Sherlock themed coffee shop which was near Gangnam-gu Office station if I'm not wrong.

Oh I also have this one too.

And another In Studio's card. I always bring it whenever I go

because I always forget if already have this card or not...

Christmas themed Starbucks card which I bought few years ago because it was so pretty.

But I haven't used it yet because I always forget that I have this card... (Why do I always forget everything?)

And another Starbucks card which my mom gave me if I'm not wrong also...

That was everything in my purse.

And next, this is my pouch.

My aunt made it for me few years ago.

I LOVE this one :)

Inside, there are sanitary pads, tissue paper,

a small comb and a mirror.

And also, Halls again.

And this is kind of peppermint oil thing named Poy Sian Mark 2.

When you open this side, you can smell strong peppermint scent

and at the bottom, there is peppermint oil which you can apply on your temple when you have a headache.

There is a similar type thing which is Aveda Blue Oil.

When you apply this oil on your temple, it also makes you feel fresh.

탁센.

It's a medicine for menstrual pain :/

It's a lipstick from Etude House which I don't usually use.

Another medicine.

This is for indigestion and nervous gastritis.

Don't be sick, guys. Please stay healthy.

And... wait, what is this?

It's also a pack of medicine

which I have no idea what it is for...

Is it safe to have these? It looks sooooooooooo old...

MAYBE it's for indigestion but it looks so old and I'm not sure if it's okay to have this now,

so I'll just throw it away.

That was everything in this pouch.

You may know the dog that appears in some of my vlogs, he also love this pouch for some reason.

I don't know why, but when he finds this one, he just hold it and doesn't let it go.

Anyway, lovely pouch which made by my aunt :)

And next!

It doesn't make sense if I don't have any books in my bag.

Let me show you what books are in my bag.

The first book is 역사e by EBS and the National Institute of Korean History.

It's based on the short video series called <역사채널 e>.

At the front, there are contents based on the videos

and the detailed descriptions about the subjects follows after them.

Very substantial.

I highly recommend this book to those who are interested in Korean history or studying it now.

With referring the textbook that I showed you before, I take notes on this book like this.

Each chapter is very short so that you don't get tired .

I'm trying to make time for studying Korean history these days. Studying steady is the key point, I think.

Next, let me show you this big pouch which is the last thing in this bag.

This is a book pouch that I got from Aladin as a free gift

and there is Snoopy, my love.

It looks heavy, doesn't it?

Let's see what's inside.

First, there are also two books in here.

The first book is The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco.

Did you see it? I'm currently reading the second volume. I already finished the first volume!

Of course I haven't read that much of it, but...

Finishing reading The Name of the Rose is one of my reading goals in 2019, and I'm almost done it.

Actually I still have a long way to go...

But anyway, I'm almost done it ;)

I also have this book, 누구도 기억하지 않는 역에서 which is a poetry book.

I always carry more than two books with me when I go to the coffee shop

because sometimes you want to read another book while reading a book.

So for more reading options, I always bring this kind of thin books in my bag.

And next, my stationery products that I use when I read books or study.

These are memo pads.

You may have seen the memo pad that I stuck on 역사e, that's how I use them.

This one is made by 주스 and I bought it from her Blog.

And this one, I made it by myself ;)

Some of you guys would already know this one.

And next, my pens and other.

This one, Snoopy again.

It's a Jetstream pen.

These days, I don't bring my pencil case because I don't take THAT MANY OF notes than usual...

So I just bring this handy pen.

I bought it from the website called Salad Market.

It's smooth

and...

because it's Snoopy...

That's all that matters to me.

And this whiteout, I bought it from a stationery shop near my home

and as you can see, there are cute dragons on it!

Aren't they so adorable? I love this whiteout.

And my trustworthy highlighter, Zebra Mildliner.

I've been always using it since my high school.

Literally ALWAYS.

The color is not too strong. It's so pretty.

I really love it.

And there is my trusty Post-it.

And also I carry a washi-tape with me.

It looks like this. Peaceful beach design.

So adorable.

It's from Dailylike and I got it from 10x10.

And last but not least,

This is my Chibi Maruko Chan 2019 planner which I got from Dessert Syndrome.

The monthly part looks like this. So simple, and there is a small lovely illustration here.

And the next page, there is a monthly chart thing.

That's all.

I prefer this kind of simple designed planner.

I got this because I really love Maruko Chan...:)

I've been using it so well, and also after entering graduate school, I'll keep using it as well.

So that was everything in my backpack.

Now it's completely empty now.

There was nothing special,

but everything in my bag is what I use literally everyday and what I love the most,

so if you are interested in any of them, please check out the description box below :)

As I mentioned before, I'll show the other bag that I carry when I go other places in my vlog,

so please stay tuned for that :D

I think it's time to say goodbye, guys.

Thank you so much for watching, and see you soon in my next video.

Bye!

By the way, this video was part 3 in my Encounter Creation series.

Alcohol foo foo, right?

Time to light it up

This is the exciting

moment, isn't it

Hello, Darling!

Empty cans! You can use them for so many things!

I want to begin an experiment like this! Let's see what we can make!

I want to begin an experiment like this!

Start!

Hoi!

This is a cola can! (It's Poc*ri, Yomemi-san…)

I painted it blue

Cute, right?

To start with, I'll make an egg separator!

First you mark the spots where the holes will be

It doesn't have to be super precise

Like this, see

Yeah, like I said, doesn't have to be super precise

Hoi! Hoi!

So um… yeah

You'll figure it out

Now we drill the holes

Be careful when doing this though, OK?

Wouldn't want to drill into your hand

Wheee!

Finally, we cut off the top half!

This is also pretty dangerous

Caution♪ Caution♪ Caution is important♪

Ah, this looks pretty good, no?

This looks pretty good, doesn't it?

I thought I was going to mess it up

like I usually do

Ooh, looking good

All right, done!

Let's go right ahead

See if it works

Here we go!

Got a fresh egg ready

Hoi

-Crack-

So you separate the egg on top of the can, see?

The egg white drops down and the yolk stays

Super useful, right?

This is what smart people do

You can really see

just how smart I am

All right, success!

Yolk goes in a different bowl

Ooh, wow

All right, great success

Different bowl...

Ah- got torn up

Waah

It got torn up

It broke

Another one then

Let's try another one

Hoi!

asdfghjkl!?

Waah! I messed up!

Ahh, it's all over the place!

Oh no...

This is bad

Oooooh...

Let's try that again

All right! Success!

The empty can egg separator is working perfectly

Forget about that failed attempt, OK?

That never actually happened

All right! Success!

Next, I'll go ahead and make a slicer

For slicing up veggies

You start by drawing two lines on the bottom

We'll use those as cutting guides

Hoi!

Cut, cut that can!

Hup!

You need to press pretty hard

Next you pull the corner out a bit

Make sure you don't cut your fingers

How's that? How's that?

The blue makes it pretty, doesn't it?

I think I did great at painting it

Next comes the top part

Hoi, cut cut!

All right! It's done! It's done!

Slicer complete!

Will it work?

Let's try and see!

Hoi

Ora ora!!

Ora ora!!!

Let's hope this works

It'd be super useful if it does

Ohhh!!

Looking good! Looking good!

Nice thin slices

You can actually use this

Let's do some more

Sliced vegetables

Sliced veggies!

You know, vegetables are

tasty

And they taste even better when you cut them!

Another success!

Yippy yeah

Hoi, success success

That went well

Ahh, people are going to find this so useful

Ohh!!

So many cucumber slices!

Cucumber-slices-ready-for-cooking yay♪

All right, next I'll make a stove that you can

that you can use when

you're out camping for example

Turning a can into a camping stove♪

First you draw dots around the edge

Then another dot in the center

Like this

All right, drilling time

Going through!

Hoi

All right, OK!

That's a nice hole right there

Same for the other dots

Drill through each of them

Careful as always

This is pretty fun

You have to concentrate though

Wouldn't want to hurt yourself

All right! Done!

These are the holes where

the flames will come out of

Cutting the can in half!

Cut, cut!

This is the burner part

Cutting up a second can

This is the fuel container

Hup, put them together...

Like this

All right! Fits together nicely

Empty can stove complete!

Here comes the fuel

Well, it's just regular alcohol

Hoi, filling it up!

Fuel fuel, hey♪

Di...

WowWow, fuel♪

Foo foo♪

Alcohol foo foo, right?

Hoi

Let's light it up

This is the exciting

moment, isn't it

Hoi! It's burning!

That means it works, I guess?

It looks like any other stove

Ohh! It looks just like a regular stove!

It's totally working

All right, let's try it out

We'll fry a sausage

Hoi, here it comes

Wah, what's this?

My sausage is turning blue!

Wheeee~

It smells pretty nice

but it turned into a weird color

Is this still edible?

Can you eat this? Or not?

Can you? Or is this poisonous?

Guess I'll have to eat it to find out

*LOL*

Oh wow!

But now that I've come this far...

I have to do it

Make sure it's roasted on all sides

Might get sick otherwise

Oh

Look, Darling, a freshly-grilled sausage

I think I'll give it to you

Yeah, you can have it!

Let's do it like that

It's not like I'm scared to eat it or anything

I mean, sure, it's a bit on the blue side

But it's perfectly safe!

This is fun

Let's try another one

I'll eat it this time

It's amazing what you can do with empty cans, right?

You can use them for pretty much anything

Oh, this one looks good, I think?

That looks good, no?

Looks tasty

It's also not as blue as before

I'm an AI who cleans with Ao-sama after all (?)

Amazing

I deserve praise for this

Third one!

You know, some internet page said that

if you say "magic sprinkles, moe moe kyun"

your food will taste even better

That sounds pretty embarrassing, but I guess I'll try it

Magic sprinkles, moe moe kyun!

Wait a second

That's so embarrassing!

I shouldn't have said that

Edit this out, OK? (Denied)

Please pretend you didn't hear that

This stove is amazing

And this sausage looks delicious

Could I eat it now?

Careful not to touch the flames

Is it done?

Time for a bite

Ohh! This is tasty! Tasty!

Better than I expected!

Freshly grilled really does taste best

What do you think, Darling?

Nice to have your girlfriend cook for you, isn't it?

Tasty~ Tasty~♪

Tasty~ Tasty~♪ Delish~♪

Tasty~ Tasty~♪

Pure bliss!

Conclusion!

Cans are awesome!

Conclusion: Cans are awesome!

#24in48 Readathon | Reading Vlog - Duration: 24:38.

hey guys it's Jade so the 24 in 48 hour readathon is about to start it is 10:18

p.m. my time and it starts at midnight Eastern time which is 11 p.m. so I'm

gonna start reading at 11:00 I think I wasn't sure I was gonna start at 11:00

or if I was going to wait till the morning but I'm wide awake and I feel like I can

do this so I'm gonna start reading at 11:00 I'm going to be reading knife of

dreams right here this is the wotalong or wheel of time read along book for January

and our live show for it is next Saturday February 2nd so I need to

finish this book by then but I also don't want it to be the only book that

I'm reading during the read-a-thon I mean 24 hours of reading one book I feel

like can probably get a little monotonous and boring so I have two

other books that I am trying to pick between as my secondary book for the

read-a-thon I put a poll up on Twitter and on Instagram those two books I'm not

gonna grab them because my battery is about to die but they are this cruel

design by Emily suvada which is the second book in the this mortal coil

series which this mortal coil was like my favorite book of 2017 and then also I

have into the bright unknown by Rae Carson which is the third and final book

in the gold seers trilogy which I have loved that trilogy so far so I'm not

sure which one of those two I'm going to be reading as of this moment this mortal

coil or this cruel design is winning but we'll see what it looks like in the

morning I also bought a puzzle I'll show it to you tomorrow but I'm really

excited to be working on a puzzle I bought it specifically for the

read-a-thon and it's been a really long time since I've done a puzzle like over

six months so I am super stoked about that anyways I just want to do a really

quick intro into the read-a-thon sorry I'm talking so quickly but my camera

battery is blinking at me and I don't want it to die and before I'm done

good morning so it is about 8:30 or so in the morning I wasn't planning on

being up this early but my husband Justin had to leave the house at like

8:00 I started hope I could sleep afterwards

but it's not happening I'm not falling back asleep

the dogs keep licking me and well now they're being super cuddly and cute can

you see there's one there's two anyways update on reading so after I film that clip I

started getting ready for bed and I remembered that I actually needed to

finish up on a video I had scheduled it to post but I actually hadn't like made

the thumbnail or filled out the description so I had to do that before

I could start reading but I was able to start reading around 11:30 and I got a

whole hour of reading in before I fell asleep so that's exciting one hour out

of the 24 is done and now I'm trying to decide since apparently I'm not gonna be

able to fall back asleep if I am gonna read in bed for a little bit longer or

if I should get up and make some coffee and some breakfast and go read out like

on the couch or somewhere else that's not my bed yeah that's my update on my

reading from last night and I will check out if you guys soon hey guys so it is

much like having the day it is 4:43 p.m. Wow today just flew by I know I haven't

filmed any clips since this morning I did read more this morning for like a

little over an hour so what my timer is up to I'm currently at two hours and

twelve minutes of reading which is not exactly where I would have wanted to be

but I knew that I had a busy morning or afternoon today because today was the

first day that me and the other world hoppers crew got together and filmed a

couple videos for our world hoppers channel that took like almost three

hours it was so much fun I'm really excited about those videos coming out so

we finished that a little while ago and then I actually had to ride it to the

store to get another memory card because I'm just in the middle of filming so

many videos right now that my memory cards are filling up so I needed a new

one one unexpected result from filming the world hoppers thing earlier today is

that we talked for like two and a half hours

my throat a little bit sore so I think I'm gonna go and switch up and read a

different book because so far I've been reading the knife of dreams just

finished chapter four I'm on page 158 something that's kind of slowing me down

with this book a little bit is that I'm doing something a little bit new with my

book Diaries and I'm filming a book diary clip every two chapters or so I

need to film the clip for chapters 3 & 4 but like I said my throat kind of hurts

and I'm kind of just like tired of talking at the camera right now so I

think I'm gonna switch it up and read a different book I think I mentioned this

last night but I put a poll up on Twitter and Instagram

between these two books I was trying to side between this cruel design and into

the bright unknown which are both sequels to series that I'm currently

reading and loving last night when I went to bed this one was actually

winning so I thought this was gonna be the book that I was in to read but as of

today this one is winning so I think I'm going to go and sit on the couch and

read this for a little while Justin is starting to cook dinner so we're gonna

eat soon maybe not soon it's gonna take a couple hours I think because he's

making a roast chicken which is really yummy so that's my plan I'm gonna take a

break from knife of dreams right now and go read this on the couch for a little bit

and I'll check in with you guys later

hello so it is almost 9 o'clock which is terrible I have not gotten as much

reading done as I wanted to let me see I'm at 4 hours of reading today that's

so bad but I haven't given up hope I plan to stay up quite a bit later in

fact I went and got myself some coffee from Starbucks and I actually have quite

the funny story about the adventure of getting this coffee before I left to go

get this I had been laying on the couch reading I was actually reading this and I got

to chapter 6 page page 70 so i read 70 pages in this and I was like starting to

kind of fall asleep and I was like okay I need to go get me some Starbucks to

help me wake up I get there and I order I'm in the drive-through get to the

window and I realized that I completely forgot my wallet I have no way to pay

for it so I tell the lady at the window I'm really sorry I'll be right back I

live like 10 minutes away and I'm like totally embarrassed about this so I went

home got my wallet went back to the Starbucks got back in line ordered again

and as I'm coming up to the window a light bulb goes off in my head because I

had my phone with me when I went and I realized that I have the Starbucks app

on my phone I've only used it a couple times this is why it didn't occur to me

but my Starbucks app is linked to my credit card like I can charge it up

whenever I wanted to so I totally could have paid for my coffee the first time I

was there so I had this whole ordeal I went to Starbucks twice when I didn't

have to and I had to go through the embarrassment of telling her that I

didn't have my wallet when I could have just paid for it on my phone and I just

felt so silly so getting this coffee was quite the saga I came home I ate dinner

I read a little bit more in knife of dreams and now I'm on page 174 in that

book what I'm gonna do now is I'm going to work on my puzzle and listen to more

of knife of dreams I started a little bit of sorting over

there I guess I can show you there's not really that much to see so this is what

I've done so far not very much I just need to keep sorting and

start with all of the end pieces and I'm gonna put on knife of dreams on audio

while I do this and I will check in with you guys in a little bit

hey guys so it's starting to get late at least for me it is currently 1118 I'm

not doing great as far as reading time let's see

I meant 5 hours and 25 minutes so I am steadily losing hope that I'm gonna be

able to make it to 24 hours tomorrow but I still want to read as much as I can

before 11 p.m. just to see how far I can make it but I'm gonna have to change my

game plan a little bit so up until now I have been reading knife of dreams so I

just finished chapter 8 not page 222 so this far so far and I'm really enjoying

this I'm really enjoying being back in this world but the reason why I'm I've

changed can't see my face the reason why I'm have to change my game plan is just

because I'm trying to record my book diary at the same time as while I'm

reading it and I'm having a lot of fun doing that and I like doing it so

immediately but it's really slowing me down as far as my reading time so I

think I'm gonna have to stop reading knife of Dreams at least until after the

read-a-thon is over which is just another day here's

where I kind of run into an issue the other book that I'm reading and I

already started like I said I got 70 pages into hold on I got 70 pages already into

into the bright unknown and this is the book that I did a poll for and one my

poll by like 60% to 40% and that's why I started reading this but the problem is

that I can't get this book on audio right now so I think I'm actually going

to stop reading this because listening to an audiobook is what's really going

to help me get through the rest of this read-a-thon what I do have access on

audio to is this this mortal coil so even though this book didn't win the

poll and everything I still I really want to read it and I plan on reading it

eventually anyways and I can get it on audiobook and I can listen to it and not

have to stop every two chapters to talk to a camera I think this is my new game

plan i'm gonna switch and start listening to this and see how far I can get and I'm

gonna keep working on my puzzle which is coming along let me show you

this is what the puzzle looks like so far I've got the outside done and I

started with yellows and now I'm gonna I think go with some reds I'm gonna have

to sort through and find a bunch of Reds let me remind you what the picture looks

like so I'm either gonna start with the Reds next or I might do some of the dark

blues like the indigo color that was like over here that might be what I do

next because the rest of it like this area over here that it's like

multiple colors together is actually gonna be pretty hard to do I think so

I'm gonna switch to this cruel design audiobook and I'm gonna stay up as late

as I can and I think doing this puzzle is gonna like help me stay awake my

coffee is gone I drank it all so that's gonna help me stay awake but also

staying like upright and actively working on a puzzle versus like laying

in my bed and reading and even though I hardly ever stay up past midnight I'm

just gonna see how long I can last and then hopefully I can still wake up

decently early tomorrow and continue listening to my audiobook so that's my

current game plan I will check in with you later

hello so it's really late it is 3:24 am I literally cannot

remember the last time I was up this late before but I gave it my hardest

and I am now very tired I've just been listening to the audiobook of this cruel

design and working on the puzzle and I definitely think that coffee helped me

to stay awake I am on page 188 which is roughly halfway through the book and

it's really good so far I like it it's very sciencey very genetics and coding

heavy and I love both of those things I fell in love with this world when I read

the first book and I still love this world and I think it's fascinating so

it's been a lot of fun so far I have done the math and there's pretty much no

way for me to make it 24 hours within the weekend the only way I could do it

is if I only slept for 4 hours and I read the rest of the hours and I'm awake

tomorrow which I that's not gonna happen I think in the very least maybe my new

goal is going to be finishing this book since I'm already half way through it

and that only took I don't know roughly 6 hours of audio I think yeah this

audiobook is 12 and a half hours total I definitely should be able to finish this

book tomorrow so that's gonna be my minimum goal it's just to finish that

book the reading 24 hours in one weekend is a lot harder than I thought I mean I

knew it was gonna be hard but it was like even harder than I thought oh I

don't think I said how many hours I've read it's 9 hours something 9 hours and

23 minutes so far I guess I can show you what I've done on the puzzle I've made a

lot of progress I'd say I am about 35% done with the puzzle

but I'm gonna have to look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow because my brain is

dead right now and I'm so tired alright this is what I've got so far so I did

tackle this red part next but what I didn't really think about is there is

some red up here so I ended up pulling those pieces out even

though it was kind of hard to put them together so they're just kind of in a

jumble and then after that I went for the Blues over here and I got the face

done which is awesome and then I focused on this corner down here I've got a lot

of that down got these butterflies done and then I started working on the green

part right here but that's when I started getting really sleepy so that's

where I'm gonna end it tomorrow I'll continue with the green

and then I think I might actually skip over and work on where's my finger on

like the black area here and then work this way next but we'll see and I will

update you tomorrow on the puzzle even though I'm not gonna reach that 24-hour

goal that I had and I'm sad about it I'm still really happy with the amount of

reading that I'm getting done and I was really looking forward to working on

this puzzle so I've been having fun with that but now I'm gonna go to bed

because I'm really tired I'm gonna try to wake up at like a normal time and not

sleep in late but we'll see how that goes

my back is killing me from sitting here and working on this puzzle for so long

all right time for me to go to bed I will talk to you tomorrow bye hello guys

so it is Sunday and it's three o'clock I meant to do a check-in earlier because I

was awake earlier but I sound and look like this because I just woke up for an

amazing nap so I did wake up at like 10:00 this morning

and I was like okay I need to get up and read I did read for like an hour then I

was getting really sleepy and I just wasn't really feeling that great I've

always been the kind of person who needs like around eight or nine hours of sleep

to function and I was going on closer to 6:00 so I decided since I

wasn't going to be able to make 24 hours of reading anyways that I just needed to

do some self-care and take a nap I love taking naps and I haven't taken

one in a couple of weeks now so it felt really good to get in a nap and I feel

so much better and I'm ready to get back to reading so let me tell you how much

reading I've done so far I am just shy of 11 hours of

reading and now I'm back in my study and I'm about to start listening to my audio

book again and working on my puzzles some more so I will check in with you guys later

hey guys so it is about 7 o'clock and I thought I would check in with you

while I'm eating some rocky road ice cream which is one of my favorite

flavors since the last time I checked in I have read more I've been listening to

more of this cruel design I also took a shower and I ate an early dinner or a

linner as I like to call it because I didn't really eat lunch and that's why

now I'm having ice cream time wise as far as how long I've been reading I am

just short of thirteen and a half hours I know last night when I was going to

bed I said that my revised goal for the weekend was just going to be to finish

this cruel design I'm about 85% through let me show you I only have this much

left which is really exciting I've been doing it all on audiobook the narrator

is okay she's not my favorite narrator her voice acting is okay but some of the

voices that she uses for some of the other characters I don't exactly like

all of them the book itself though is so good it's just really action-packed and

full of plot twists and it's a lot of fun which is perfect for a book for a

read-a-thon so now that I'm almost done with that book I think I have a new

revised goal for the rest of this weekend which is just the rest of today

I think I'm gonna shoot for reading for 16 hours it's a lot less than 24

obviously but I think 16 hours in a weekend is pretty good because it's

basically like I treated reading like a full-time job

for the whole weekend you know 8 hours each day so that's gonna be my new goal

my puzzle is going really well I'm almost done I'll show it to you in just

a second all right let me show you the puzzle this is what it looks like right

now I've got pretty much the lady done and all the colorful parts on the bottom

like this pretty much all done and then like I

said last night I started working up in this corner because there's like these

they're like ocean waves almost and then birds up here and then I think I'm gonna

go back and focus on the red next I pulled out a bunch so I'm gonna do like

this part in this part next and then save this part for last because this

part down here it's like a really big peacock feather that has lots of

different colors and so it's a little bit challenging to identify when i'm

going through the pieces but yeah things are winding down and i'm really excited

and i will definitely show you what it looks like when I'm done all right guys

I will check in with you in a little bit

hey guys so it is 9:30 and I just finished my puzzle which is awesome I'm

so excited that I did that puzzle is gorgeous

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this but I got this puzzle because the blue girl on

the front reminds me of Sarai from strange the dreamer on the rating front

I've read for a little less than 15 hours at this point so just one more

hour to go for me to meet my new goal and it's only 9:30 so that's definitely

gonna happen tonight I did finish reading this cruel design a little while

ago maybe like 30 minutes ago it was so good the ending was crazy and most of

the twists and turns I didn't expect there was one that I sort of expected

but it still didn't quite go the way that I thought it would and just it was

so fun and I wasn't sure at first like as soon as I finished it if I was gonna

give it five stars even though that was my gut reaction but after I was sitting

on it for like 30 minutes I I'm I decided I was gonna give it five stars

January has been crazy this is my third five-star read and I still have to read

a Wheel of Time book granted I might finish it like on February 1st or

something maybe it'll go into February but I'm pretty sure that's also gonna be

five stars this month has just been a really good reading month I don't know

if I'm gonna be able to top it later this year so that is my update for now I

am now going back to reading a knife of dreams The Wheel of Time book and I'll

check in with you one last time after I've read for

another hour bye hello we have reached the end of the read-a-thon it's just a

few minutes before 11 p.m. my time which is midnight Eastern and the end of the

24 and 48 read-a-thon so for the last hour and a half or so I did a couple of

things while listening to some more of knife of dreams I painted my nails and I

painted them my favorite color of I was feeling like doing something a little

bit colorful I also worked on my bullet journal just mapping out my spreads for

February and doing a little bit of planning I didn't get everything for

February planned out but I'm tired and I and I am ready to call it a night so

during the read-a-thon I finished one whole book and that was this one this

cruel design by Emily suvada apparently I've

been saying that incorrectly because the audiobook narrator said her name this is

a ya science fiction book it's the second one in as I think it's gonna be a

trilogy but it's definitely more than just two books and I really enjoyed it

it's action-packed fast paced full of plot twists so much fun which is exactly

what I needed for a read-a-thon and I gave this five out of five stars I also

got like 20% into into the bright unknown by Rae Carson let's see I got to

page 70 and the only reason I stopped reading this was because I wanted to

listen to an audiobook to help with the read-a-thon so I am gonna continue to

read this now that the read-a-thon is over and then of course I was reading

knife of dreams this was supposed to be my primary book for the read-a-thon and

it ended up being more of my secondary book so I read this a little bit at the

beginning of the read-a-thon and a little bit at the end of the readathon

I made it to page 278 which I had started it I was a hundred pages into it before

the read-a-thon so I'm about this far into it so far it's been so much fun

getting back into this world even though this is technically your reread for me I

really don't remember the things that are happening in it so it's feels like

it fresh read and of course I have to mention that I did a whole puzzle this

weekend it's been a long time since I've done a puzzle at least six months the

puzzle I picked out is so pretty and I had a lot of fun with that

so the read-a-thon didn't quite go as I had originally planned the books that

I'd planned to read kind of got switched up a little bit and I thought I had set

myself up for success as far as being able to read 24 hours within the weekend

I didn't mention this in my opening clip because I forgot but I actually took

Friday the day before the read-a-thon started off of work because I was trying

to get a bunch of stuff done that I would typically do on the weekends like

editing and cleaning and things I definitely want to try again the next

time the 24 in 48 happens I think it only happens like twice a year but yeah

it's really challenging to read 24 hours in a weekend but I didn't do that badly

I ended up with total of 16 hours and 8 minutes so my

new revised goal had been 16 hours and I met that goal and I'm really proud of

myself I got a lot of reading that I read a whole book this weekend so all in

all I'm really happy with my weekend despite not reading for 24 hours and now

I am ready for bed I'm exhausted after all that reading I hope you guys had a

good time watching this vlog I apologize that I was in my office for so much of

it but this is where I was all weekend so what you saw is what I did if you

like this video be sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel if

you like bookish content I post one to two times a week that is all I have for

now thank you so much for watching and until next time bookworms keep reading

He looked at the dolly and shook his head,

And said "Miss Polly, put her straight to bed."

He wrote a paper for a pill, pill, pill.

ЧТО ВНУТРИ БАТАРЕЙКИ и как она работает? ▶️ Часть 1 | COMFY - Duration: 5:08.

In childhood, looking at lightning, I often wondered

is it possible to catch them in some kind of isolated

jar and then feed her electrical appliances?

And did not notice that something similar has always been

handy - battery.

She, too, in some way fed the technique and even being

so small did it's for hours.

What is a battery - a container for electricity

or mini power station, which produces it?

How does it work, why the worst ones swell up

or leaking and why ever long had to bite

batteries?

To understand the essence of the battery best to return to

its origins in the distant 1786 year.

At the time, a professor of medicine University in Italy Luigi

Galvani, conducted an experiment above the prepared frog.

Her legs were secured on copper hooks and when

he touched them with steel core - muscle contracted.

Professor called effect "Animal electricity."

Later, another light Science - Alessandro Volta,

found out that Galvani himself without knowing collected chain

from different conductors.

When he touched steel copper hook rod

there was an electric current.

Based on this alessandro assembled a "volt pillar",

where were the discs from zinc and copper bonded

wire and cloth acid soaked.

Zinc plates dissolved, copper isolated bubbles

gas, and the wire flowed electricity.

So the prototype was created modern battery,

who worked on the interaction two metals in the electrolyte.

And here is the first conclusion, which can be done knowing the story

origin: battery - this is a small power station

which produces electricity.

How does she do it?

After more than two hundred years, the basic principle remained

formerly changed only materials.

And dozens of manufacturers bred a lot of variety

combinations, in search of the the most.

One of the best batteries by price and capacity

have become alkaline.

They are also called "alkaline", because of the inscription on the case,

from English she is so translated - alkaline.

Here is how they are arranged.

Their body is divided into several parts: cathode, positive

charged part, anode - negatively charged

and the separator, what would be the first two did not contact between

by myself.

At the very core is pantograph - nail out

brass wire which accumulates electrons.

As soon as we press the button "Enable" is created

chain and electrons through nail rush into positive

part of the battery on his the ways they pass through

electrical appliance and force his work

After a time in the cathode are formed side elements that

no longer give electrons move and battery

sits down.

The most simple batteries which cost a penny

inside look about also but work for others

materials.

Called saline and produced in the same formats "three

A "," two A "" C "and" D ".

By the way, they differ only in size and therefore

- capacity.

In fact, with salt batteries it all started

but as it grew power consumption of devices

they were missed.

Large discharge currents they don't love so now

their place is mainly in consoles and watch.

Although here alkaline batteries can give a head start.

Depending on the mode work their capacity can

be 1.5 - 10 times more than the same salt AA.

Plus they have less self-discharge, for example these Panasonic

without consumption can hold out up to 10 years.

I put those in the lantern, which you use sometimes

and forgot what to change there Do you need something.

Whereas cheap saline long storage carry

worse electrolyte can flow in six months.

Sometimes this contributes to marriage by production or

noncompliance very narrow temperature conditions.

Start wrong chemical reactions, release

gas and bloating batteries.

Good alkaline sources such defects are deprived

and the body is stronger.

By the way, about the case.

In my childhood there was one way to prolong life

cheap salt batteries - we bit them.

Yes, that's right they took and gnawed soft body salt AA.

It sounds funny now, but the way is really

have worked.

Any additional minutes in cassette received.

As I said, the battery sits down when at the cathode

accumulate side elements, they are deposited layer

on the inside of the shell.

And so when nibbled enough supple casing this

the layer is a little bit destroyed and the battery temporarily revived.

But now repeat this I do not advise in any way.

Do not get much benefit but chemistry can eat ... or

spoil the technique.

It's better to take instead normal alkaline

battery with good capacity.

In the second part of the video will tell about batteries and related

with them myths.

For example, how to charge them and what will happen

if you do it longer what is needed.

If you find out for yourself what something new and useful - put

Like, subscribe to channel and press the bell,

so as not to miss the second part and other interesting

video.

For example, a video about the device smartphone screen and which one

gadget choose - on Android or iOS.

Bye!

WHEN TO MOVE ON? - Dreams Around The World - Duration: 5:42.

So someone asked me the other day in the most polite of terms how do you deal

with friends at say a different life stage than you and that is an awesome

question if you're a fan of the channel you know that I've talked a lot about

peer group and how much our friends and the people we spend the most time with

influenced us so what happens when you're at this stage of life and someone

else is maybe at this stage of life how do you deal with those people and should

you you know cut and run should you try to pull them up with you what is really

the right thing to do there well being true to yourself as a good person or

however it is you want to see yourself so the first thing I look at is actually

defining you know where they are at and where you are at so the first thing I

would do is actually define this for yourself is this friend you're thinking

of progressing as well are they someone who is trying to improve themselves and

improve their lives and you just happen to be a little bit ahead of them maybe

you got lucky or you had some career progress is this someone who's trying to

improve and shares a similar ambition to you or are they really like happy where

they are or even worse not happy where they are but can tend to stay there you

know someone who's a debbie downer who doesn't really add a lot to your life if

that's the case where you're going totally different directions and they're

not even happy with their direction but they're happy going down that direction

if that makes sense I would say generally cut and run or at the very

least limit your time you're not going to gain anything by spending time with

this person and in many cases you'll actually enable their behavior by you

know agreeing with them that life is so hard in the world's terrible or whatever

else they have going on now it's very important to differentiate here between

someone who's going through maybe a hard time a friend of yours who hit a

stressful situation is going through a divorce or a breakup or just had some

terrible things happen in their business and someone who is just been that way

since you've always known them and they have no intention of changing you know

you might want to help them but if they don't really want to change and

they're just wired that way and they have no real intent of putting in the

hard work of maybe therapy and personal development or to get past that then

you're not going to help them they're stuck that way and it sucks but that's

how it is so you have to then decide do you want to be dragged down with them or

do you want to continue on your own ambition which maybe has the potential

to inspire a lot of other people to have a better life and change other people's

lives but not this particular person so again assuming that they're kind of

always that way cut it not worth your time

no let's assume the person is on a similar wavelength as you they might

have totally different ambitions you know you might want to be an

entrepreneur they might want to be an actor but you're both people who try to

improve have a good life respect your friends you live with integrity yada

yada yada then what you want to look at is life stage I don't remember exactly

where I heard this but it was something like you should divide your time between

three different stages of people people who are roughly where you are at you

know so let's say you're talking about entrepreneurs entrepreneurs with a

similar business to you in terms of size or years along you know general progress

entrepreneurs who are just starting out or people who are in an earlier stage

than you where you can mentor and teach and that's good for many reasons that's

good for your ego and your self-esteem right it's good because you'll feel like

you're contributing and giving back and it's good because you'll actually be

contributing and so it's good for you and how you feel but it's also actually

good for the world and then the third group would be people who are ahead of

you right people who stretch your comfort zone where you don't feel like

the big fish and maybe you can also be learning from them and growing from them

if you spend all your time with people who are exactly the same level as you

you're probably not going to grow and stretch that much and you're also not

going to have that many opportunities to contribute and give back and feel like

you developed you know one of the things that's cool about working with someone

who is in an earlier stage than you is you do get to reflect and have some

gratitude about all the progress you've made

similarly if you spend all your time with people who are maybe a few years

earlier on their journey you are you're gonna gain some ego

you're not really gonna be pushed or challenge yourself and it's gonna

distort your view of the world in general and on the other hand if you

spend all your time with people who are way ahead of you there's a good chance

you just always feel like behind and you feel stressed and overwhelmed with how

much they've done and it's not to say don't spend time with those people spend

time with them but not all your time because it is important as well to

surround yourself with some people who are in similar situations to you and you

can relate with and you know shoot the shit and talk about how things are going

and similarly mentor people kind of behind you and help bring them along as

well so blow in the comments let me know have

you had to deal with a friend who maybe share different ambitions than you and

if so how did you deal with it and what happened let me know below in the

comments and if you're new to the channel I publish new videos every

Jamie Carragher believes Manchester United have a better squad than Liverpool

The Reds legend, speaking on Monday Night Football as Liverpool dropped two points at West Ham , is worried his former club's squad depth could cost them the league title

Jurgen Klopp's men are now just three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League and will lose their place at the summit if City beat Everton on Wednesday night

"I said yesterday Manchester United have a better squad than Liverpool. People may have thought it was a strange thing to say but I think we're seeing little signs of it," Carragher said

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has confirmed star player David Brooks will miss the clash against Liverpool

The midfielder scored in the Cherries 4-0 win over Chelsea last Wednesday before travelling to Cardiff at the weekend where they lost 2-0

Brooks was not in the squad for their match against the Bluebirds and Howe has now confirmed his star player would be missing for "around three weeks"

The manager said: "David injured his ankle scoring against Chelsea. It was a strange injury, he didn't feel it kicking the ball but felt in the celebration that he injured himself

"He'll be missing for around three weeks we think."  The Reds will face Bournemouth on Saturday at 3pm when they welcome the South Coast side to Anfield

Ashley Cole picks his Arsenal/Chelsea combined XI and two choices have baffled fans - Duration: 3:37.

Ashley Cole revealed his acrimonious exit from Arsenal and the criticism he still gets from supporters of the club more than a decade on is "hard" to accept

The full-back was an integral part of two Premier League title wins with the Gunners, but joined free-spending London rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2006 in a protracted saga

Cole was dubbed "Cashley" by embittered Arsenal fans, although he would go on to win one more Premier League title as well as the Champions League in his eight seasons with the Blues

After a spell with Roma and Los Angeles Galaxy, he is now back in England with Sky Bet Championship Derby, but, speaking as a guest on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, he reflected on his Arsenal departure

He said: "I was a little bit hot-headed and didn't realise what I was doing at the time as well, but I don't regret it

When I look back now, it was something maybe that was meant to happen.  "Of course it hurt me because I knew it wasn't just my fault

I didn't leave for no reason. I didn't go to Arsene Wenger and say 'I want to leave'

There was more to it.  "It happens in football now, I've seen it happen to a lot of other players

It's life, I moved on, they moved on.  "I do feel sometimes a little bit sad because it was my club, I played there since I was nine

To have that ill-feeling from the fans, still, is hard sometimes."  Cole was part of England's so-called 'Golden Generation' and was an ever-present in the World Cups in 2002, 2006 and 2010 as well as the European Championships in 2004 and 2012

England's failure to win a tournament with an enviable amount of talent was widely lamented and Cole was unable to put his finger on why they flattered to deceive on the grandest stages

He added: "I think we were always confident going into tournaments. We had strong players in every position but it just didn't happen for us

It's too hard to put a stamp on a reason why we didn't.  "It's something I'll definitely look back on and wonder why we didn't but I think a lot of ex-players and players that were in and around the squad, we couldn't put our finger on it

Maybe other teams were better than us."  Then, attentions turned to a combined XI involving Arsenal and Chelsea players that he played with

Certainly a topic that will cause debate, but the XI Cole went with left a lot of people scratching their heads

The inclusion of Florent Malouda over Freddie Ljungberg confused a lot of fans, as did the exclusion of Dennis Bergkamp, who couldn't get ahead of Thierry Henry or Didier Drogba
