Youtube daily report Feb 5 2019

No... we're not in Hawaii or in Bombay.

We are between Cairns and Port Douglas.

We are looking for work, we have been in Palm Cove ...

no luck, few hours.

and there's nothing, so now we're going to Port Douglas to see if there's more luck and we find work.

¡Hola familia! Well, you have not heard from us for a long time.

We are without signs of life since we were in Sydney,

so we're going to put you a little up to date.

We are in Port Douglas, we arrived here two weeks ago.

We spent a week in Cairns but we did not find work, we did not find as much as we would have liked.

there was no good "feeling"

So we took the van and left an hour north of Cairns, which is where Port Douglas is

and here we find work immediately right?

Well, after one week both of us found work.

and we've decided to stay here.

We stayed at a campsite for a week and now we have a house.

We have moved!

We are renting a room in a house.

So let's do a house tour.

The house has a porch, but our van does not fit.

too short, very bad the builder of the house.

A 2.5-meter backpacker's van should be planned.

What do we have here?

This is the room.

Today is the 28th, but on Saturday, January 26, it was the National Day of Australia,

We had a party organized by our hosts:Gosia and Karol.

They are from Poland, they are Polish too and we have moved with them!

There is the living room, here the dining room,

There is the big kitchen

with pantry, fridge, oven and dishwasher.

Here we have the washing machine, the dryer and the Vacuum cleaner

And here is our room.

with our things, with a private bathroom.

the most important thing to keep in mind.

They sleep on the first floor, there are two rooms.

We have a wardrobe that's way too big for us.

We only use a bit and a half, we do not have many things either.

What we like most about the house is the garden.

And the pool!

We like to go out for a coffee or tea.

lie down in the hammock, in the cool.

So nothing, we're going to take a dip.

Well, we've given it before.

but the water is cool today ...

Here we will spend a month and a half or two.

do not? more or less...

One two months and then we will continue down a little bit,

because it is very hot.

Lunar cat

It is said that the moon cat

Somewhere on the moon lives.

I wish I could be there

And with the cat to make friends.

We used the cat on the star

Flew in silence.

Played blind man's buff, napkins,

Hide and seek, hopscotch, jump rope.

Poor cat alone sad

And everything looks to the Earth.

Fly to us quickly

Fly to us quickly

You will find many friends here.

grown-ish Season 2, Episode 7 | Sneak Peek: The Consent Debate | Freeform - Duration: 0:52.

It basically means that when you're hooking up,

you have to ask for permission every stage of the game.

Like, "Oh, can I kiss you?"

"Can I rub you?"

"Can I touch your boobs?"

It's too much.

Okay, first off, it's "May I."

Nothing's a bigger boner killer than bad grammar.

Except maybe correcting bad grammar.

Can I finish?

I don't know.

May you finish?

Okay, look, nobody's gonna be finishing with this massively unsexy policy.

Isn't it just about safety though?

I mean, first day freshman year, we had the seminar about protecting ourselves against sexual assault.

And even, like, think about our group dynamics.

We have the buddy system. We never leave our drinks unattended.

Why is that?

I think this policy is just an extension of that and I don't see what the problem is.

New and Notable Books for February - Duration: 6:04.

Today, we're talking about some of the new and notable books that have come our way over

the last few weeks. Let me run the intro and then I'll tell you all about them.

Today we're talking new and notable books and we're going to begin with Atypical Woman

by Abigail Dodds. I tried, before I started recording, to describe this one. I had trouble

just finding words to express this so I'm just going to read what it says on the back

and see if it's of interest to you. In a culture that can belittle womanhood on the one hand

making it irrelevant and glorified on the other making it everything. It's hard to know

what it really means to be a woman. But when we understand womanhood through the lens of

scripture, we see that we need a bigger category for what God has called woman. This book breathes

fresh air into our womanhood reminding us what life in Christ, as a woman, looks like.

I suppose that tells you who it's for and what it's about. You may not know this, I

don't think John Piper does a lot of book endorsements yet he did endorse this one.

Here's what he says, this is not the portrait of womanhood painted by the world. Dodds is

not calling for something easy but something courageous. I hope you consider her challenge.

So there you go, Atypical Woman by Abigail Dodds.

And speaking of John Piper, here's his new book called Why I Love the Apostle Paul: 30

Reasons. What can I say about this book? Really not much more than the title says. Honestly,

John Piper loves the apostle Paul. In this book, which has 30 short chapters, he tells

you why. That's it, right. I mean, I think you know what the book is about and whether

or not you'd want to read it. Next, I'm going to kind of package up these

two books together. The first is Sola: How the Five Solas are still Reforming the Church.

So this is edited by Jason Allen and then has some contributors as well, Jared Wilson,

Owen Strachan, others. It's a book about the five solas. You should be familiar with the

five solas. The next book is about the five points of Calvinism. This one, Sola scriptura,

Sola gratia, Sola fide, Solus Christus, and Soli Dei Gloria. These are, it says, at the

core of the Protestant Reformation. They're vital to New Testament Christianity and great

commission witness. They are the essence of the Gospel, find out why. Please do find out

why. We've had a lot of talk over the last few years about New Calvinism, about Reformed

Theology and this is all wonderful things. One of my fears is that people are starting

to assume this theology rather than really study it. And I'm hoping we can recover some

of our enthusiasm about the doctrine that, not too long ago, really drew this movement

together. You'd want to start with the five solas. The five solas are what distinguish

Protestants from Roman Catholics. You'll find this book helpful. And then maybe follow it

up with this one, Mere Calvinism by Jim Orrick. If the five solas distinguish Protestant from

Catholic, the five solas distinguish Calvinist from Arminian. And I've already read this

one. Jim Orrick does a fantastic job of explaining each of the five points of Calvinism and he

does it in a really fresh way. He uses lots of great illustrations and then he teaches

why they really matter. So, this is, I think, one of the best introductions to Calvinism

I've read and I've read a lot of them. I think you'll find it very, very helpful.

Moving on, we've got Passions of the Heart by John Street. Now, this one is subtitled,

Biblical Counsel for Stubborn Sexual Sin. So, we've had a lot of books come out over

the last decade or so about sexual sin. Especially as it relates to pornography and I'm thankful

for them. I wrote one myself. But I think one of the things we're finding is that sexual

sins can be especially stubborn. It can seem so easy. Why would you commit that sin? Stop

committing that sin. Here are steps. Here are tools to help you and still people struggle

with sin. So, listen to this: enticed by rage, sensuality or pride, anyone can become caught

up in previously unimaginable acts. Experienced biblical counselor, John Street, takes a hard

look at the hard idolatries that lead even Christians to commit egregious sexual sin,

showing how to bring lasting change by identifying the underlying motivations of the heart. I'm

definitely going to read this one thoroughly and I'm very hopeful that it helps many people

battle some of those very, very stubborn sins and helps equip the rest of us to battle alongside

them. Last, but not least, Don't Send Out a Resume

by Benjamin, I'm going to go with, Vrbicek. I'm not totally sure of the pronunciation

there. This is a book about being called from one church to another to fulfill a ministry

position. And it's meant to help, help make that transition, help decide whether you should

except such a position and help understand how you would think that through well, what

you should look for. And so he's written the bulk of the book. He's also had contributions

from a host of people you may know, J.A. Medders, Dave Mathis, Jared Wilson, Chris Brauns, and

so on. Sam Rainer and others. So, this is a book, if you're into ministry, you're thinking

about getting into ministry or maybe you're thinking about changing up the church or ministry

you work with. I think you'll find this a helpful guide.

Here are just some of the books and there are many more I could have spoken about that

have come our way in the last few weeks. We are very, very blessed. I hope there's a book

there that was of interest to you and I'll talk to you again soon.

LEGO Bricks & Pieces purchase opened, 500+ good parts 📦 #242 - Duration: 14:06.

hey everyone check it out something other than a new set review this is a package

of stuff that I bought from Lego by going to be my goal website we're not

common going to bricks and pieces you can just search anywhere for Lego bricks

and pieces purchased some parts most of the parts in here are new or fairly new

most of them are so new colors new molds especially see what I got the first of

these halls for this year just gonna take the invoice out here that has the

list of stuff and personal information on it everything talks all in one bag

once again as they usually do spill them out it's gonna be a mess

hopefully I won't go absolutely everywhere just try to code through here

and sort some of this out so I am recording from Studio B here because

it's different and I like being here swearing and recording all of my speed

build speed build videos now I'm starting to

catch my stride with those starting to feel really good about them and I'm

gonna be using this little studio more and more mostly for the speed builds but

I'm open to using him using it for other things as well obviously I'm just

getting some of the big stuff separated out right now yeah let's start this is

this is pretty nice a lot of this is very very new stuff wow I got a lot of

pieces I didn't expect it to spread out this much look at that he's had to get

another one of these cuz I want to use that on a on a permanent version of my

my sigfig just seems necessary yeah okay well let's go with hair pieces then oh I

wasn't aware that this was not the the one that I had before I wasn't aware

that this is the rose gold is it yeah I guess you would call that rose gold

color it's a metallic pink there I thought it was the the only one that had

a solid nonmetallic stripe going across it but cool all the better more

something that is different something that I've never had before here's

another her piece in white I like to get different hair pieces that kind of stand

out that aren't the usual fair to put into my LEGO City

the next time that I go through and really spend some time going through my

LEGO City I'm gonna try to put in well first of

all I need to do a big cleanup it's time do a dusting so I'm gonna try to put in

some more figures and make the whole place look a little bit more alive these

are the Neo classic space helmets just got a bunch of extras in two colors that

would be especially useful for my planetary defense force just in case I

wanted to use some of these you know I have some some classic dudes in the in

the planetary defense force I did separate out earlier some of these

narrow wheels cuz they seemed interesting to me if nothing else to use

for like engine exhausts oh I just realized it should have a light on

closer to you yeh I can see better yeh so many things so much is new here

so much that has to be done to get things set up each time try not to leave

lights on and stuff you know I try not to waste electricity too much so anytime

I'm not using this I showed a whole bunch of stuff down everyone so I don't

forget to turn something back on these are great just the the plain wheel

inserts for this speed champions wheels that create the look of high profile

tires a couple sets of those in there these are just like large flower plant

base looking things I'll be useful for some kind of decorations hopefully tend

to be used for lamps or chairs or stools and things got some more of these

squared off fenders in gray to use for engine outlets or in let's end such very

useful that probably will use them for some vehicles as well still need more

vehicles in messaging and that's speaking of vehicle related stuff these

bumper bull bars I only had like a couple of those to spare up to this

point from stuff that I've taken apart and kept so now I've got a bunch don't

have to worry about rationing them quite so carefully

and there will probably be more in here as well got some of these they've only

offered them up in this color so far I believe at least directly from Lego as

the as of the time that I ordered you only had them in black just the

small fenders used on that the mini the classic Cooper mini oh yeah one set of

those that's surprising I guess they were they must have been expensive

that's probably why I only go once it these new bracket pieces and the most

generic colors are that yeah yeah they were god it's in my head alright most

generic means most usable for the most different scenarios so I got a bunch of

those in those four colors see if there's anything else I'm not seeing any

other colors for those here I'm not gonna separate all those out just now

what else is in here bracket wise yeah there's like one by ones yes sir

did I get it some downs also hip the downward-facing ones any other downward

facing ones any other colors you might be seeing something I'm not seeing any

just offhand yeah finally got some of these I had wanted to buy these for

quite some time just extra candles you know first introduced with the Harry

Potter stuff lipstick sticks I mean white and black especially black I got a

lot of because they just seem like they're such a useful piece it's it's a

short bar you know it's shorter than the shortest light saber so you can do

things with this that you can often do with this but without having the tail

sticking off without having the T portion of it sticking out so you

connect to things pretty close and also that right there will fit inside of more

things and a bulb of this will it's just super useful things all these new pieces

are they're coming out with they're small they're just completely changing

the game for the building completely changing you're

gonna see stuff or the next year probably already have let's just would

never have been possible previously in Lego black ice skate piece

excellent egg beater nice to put just around you know

kitchens and such but it might find some ways to use that for a texture he's

maybe ninety Darth ballheads in gray and the black both excellent

parts for all sorts of different details similarly ice cream cones in light and

dark gray also we got some more in black that's our gray got a little well shine

off it almost look like it was sober I already have a bunch in silver from last

year these I figured might be useful for some custom foliage so I got a bunch of

them stuff to look forward to some of the new types of curved pieces not too

many variations of those but got some great ones as well what else yeah just a

handful of these just in case just in case aha

it's a new visor in the smokey color the trans brown or trans black those look

really cool might use some of those for something like planetary defense for

stuff and these yeah I got that covered always hyper useful got something

popcorn printed bricks just use around in

various places might have a food-related store at some point yes one of these

also in the lighter color since they don't have any spares of those in the

sense at least that I've seen so far I wish they had spares like they do for

the regular visors they always have one extra for each that's included but here

they don't I guess they consider that to be too expensive of a part to large our

part to include as a spare so I got some spare

for myself and what else the bracket pieces also came in ten the larger T

sided ones and looking around and looking around flame yellowish-orange

flame orange-yellow sausage piece there what else most of it there may be

something that I'm not noticed here out of all this but a lot of very useful

stuff that I'm gonna want to sort away very quickly I haven't shown these

already just the white alien invader blasters yeah

these things that look like they could be fence pieces and black I want to try

those Atmos and you see if you see how they look in practice if they look good

I might get some more cuz fences are just hard to do in a small scale

especially chain-link stuff I don't know why I like to do chain-link stuff but

around industrial areas and stuff you know I think that it just makes sense

it's not particularly pretty but just real stuff in real life often isn't got

a couple of these t70 x-wing canopy pieces in just the plain unprinted light

blue and I'm seeing that this one got scratched up real badly that there's a

bad scratch in there so I can catch the light there it is

bad scratch that's too bad it's not too visible from the outside so yeah it's

got a scratch on it also just a pair of these I don't know why I only got a pair

of these maybe I figured I already had some

but I didn't check at the time yeah I think that pretty much takes care of

this stuff so a nice haul of stuff that I really want to use I'm definitely

gonna be using a lot of these pieces in many things you know even if it's just a

couple of them some of this stuff is just just infinitely useful for purposes

other than the things that are obvious you know just fantastic stuff for

building at small scales like I like to do you think it was always easy to to

put together into large larger than minifig scale stuff that looks good but

- mean these in regular you know joint stuff it's small scale that looks right

for many things it's always been tough that's starting to change a lot alright

that takes care of that sweet I've got a lot of sorting to do but I also have

many more large bins of sets so not just a number of sets but whole giant plastic

tubs up sets yet to do but like I said I'm catching my stride with with the

builds you know I've done a lot of technical changes and just physical

arrangement changes and changes to all the stuff that's behind the cameras and

holding the cameras and everything - to make things easier changing my workflow

would actually do in in the software and experimenting quite a lot and I've

gotten to a pretty good place so I'm able to start turning things out at a

faster rate now closer to closer to what I want to you you'll see a little bit

more acceleration then you'll just see a continuous stream until I've gotten

through pretty much all of the new sets and you also see some some new video

ideas from me and some stuff that'll adapt a little bit more to what people

are looking for these days and hopefully get a little bit more audience

participation as well in in good ways and constructive ways so thanks for

watching I've got a lot of stuff to put away and I'm going to keep bringing your

review so stay tuned check out the speed build video if you're the speed build

channel you want to see more videos done in this space I think a lot of people

are happy with how those things are turning out now giving you

a feel of the build experience as I go through it and I'll talked again very

very soon

you

7 things I miss about Sweden while studying abroad in Italy - Duration: 7:49.

Ciao my name is Ida I'm a Swedish student currently studying abroad in

Venice, Italy and today I want to tell you some things I miss about Sweden when I'm here in Italy

The first thing is food, or like food I recognize, vegetarian food options

because here, like in the super markets there's not a lot. And like, I always bring a lot of halloumi which is a kind of Cypriot cheese

which is super common in Sweden but here I've like never seen it

Like, things, food that you're used to eating, that I can miss a lot and like

eating varied food because here I almost always make the same food or like

variations of the same dish over and over again and like for Christmas I got

spices from my brother because he was like Ida you can't continue eating like

that you have to eat better food and I'm so grateful. It has improved my life a lot. Another thing I miss is

warm houses. Because outside it's warm it's like, I don't know, 7-10 degrees in like January-

February and I'm like how is this real? Because in Sweden it's like -7 -

-5. But inside, like every morning when I wake up it's like 15-17 degrees and

I'm like it's so cold I'm always freezing. Today I had the

heating on all morning so now I can't be in just this but usually I freeze so

much. So I'm like Italy... warmer houses! But I guess in the summer I will probably complain because

it's too warm inside so we'll see. This is a Venice specific thing I miss and

it's big streets. Or like I don't know if I miss it but it's like one of those small

things that can annoy you. Because Venice is a city that easily

gets very full of tourists and if there are like three people

walking in front of you, you can't really pass them because the streets aren't

that big and like if you're in Stockholm for example you

can always like step out into where the cars go but since there is no where the

cars go here, there's a way where the boats go like the channel, you can't

really step out into the channel and go around these people so like if you're in

a hurry you like walk behind a slow tourist or something like "omg, please" that's one thing

I can miss. But like Venice with streets with cars wouldn't be the same so I'm

like still happy. I also miss Swedish University like the simplicity of Swedish

university because I understand it. it's not as chaotic as I feel like Italian university

is. Here it's like, in several of my courses I've had to sit on the ground

because they weren't enough chairs and I've talked to other people they're like

this is common in my Italian University too. Like I don't know things just seem so

complicated. I'm so stressed still by like writing emails to professors

because I'm afraid of offending them for like writing a bad email, I don't know, I

don't know, things just seem so complicated here in a way that Swedish University doesn't

also I realized the university library in Stockholm is so nice because the

ones that are here I'm ehh, I don't really like them. Another thing, being able to express myself fully

and this kind of ties in with the previous because like I feel secure in my

Italian and in my English but it isn't the same as Swedish like ugh you know

it's like sure I can communicate what I want to say most of the times and I

want, tell if you're interested in a video about where I'm living like the

mixture of languages that is here because I think it's really interesting. But I'm like

it's... I'm so much smarter, so much funnier, so

much wittier in Swedish. Like ugh, it hinders me being "forced" to speak English or Italian

I'm like ghh. And I realized it's so much when I got home and like talked to my family

I'm like it's so easy to speak, I just say what I think and don't have to think

about it and I'm like ooh. But of course I'm so grateful to be able to speak Italian every day so

I'm not complaining it's just like ,,, I also miss nature. Venice is a very nature-

less city. Like there is the sea but it's like I grew up on an island so the see or the

lagoon doesn't fascinate me that much but I also, on the island

where I grew up in Sweden, there's a lot of nature. I can walk two minutes and I'm

in the forest. Here I haven't seen a forest while being here and I miss it

so much I like I don't even see parks, I know there is some but like for me

having to take the bus to go to a park? It's so ridiculous. I really miss

just being in the woods, being, going for a walk. Here like if I wanted to go for a

walk it's like in a town. I'm like gh, don't really want.. I want like the nature experience. So that's

something I miss a lot actually. And the last thing I miss is touch. I miss

touching people, because basically the only friends I have here are my

flatmates and we don't really like, we don't hug every time we see each other

or like, don't know, and it's like we basically never touch each other and I

realized by the end of last semester I was like I'm so fucking touch starved I

never touched anyone. I don't know it's weird because I realized I was like hmm this

is interesting. Um, I'm going to get myself some new friends this month I

decided because I think that would be nice

and hopefully we'll hug more or like I don't know because I realized it so much

when I was in Sweden, like I can just sit and like hold my friend's hand or like

I don't know, we can just like touch casually when we like

sit in a sofa or something and it's like I don't even think twice about it because

here if there's like, somebody even like brushes against me I'm like ooh, touch what a new

concept. I don't know it's it's weird. So yeah those were seven things I miss

about Sweden when I'm here in Italy. If you want me to I can make one of these videos about

things I miss about Italy when I'm in Sweden. And yeah, tell me are you on

exchange have you gone on exchange if not do it's so amazing so amazing I'm so

happy to be here honestly. Changed me so much

um yeah tell me about your exchange experience down below. If you have any

questions I'm thinking of doing a big exchange video answering your

questions if you have any for that video leave them below too and yeah. Thank

you so much for watching and ciao

WHEN TO MOVE ON? - Dreams Around The World - Duration: 5:42.

So someone asked me the other day in the most polite of terms how do you deal

with friends at say a different life stage than you and that is an awesome

question if you're a fan of the channel you know that I've talked a lot about

peer group and how much our friends and the people we spend the most time with

influenced us so what happens when you're at this stage of life and someone

else is maybe at this stage of life how do you deal with those people and should

you you know cut and run should you try to pull them up with you what is really

the right thing to do there well being true to yourself as a good person or

however it is you want to see yourself so the first thing I look at is actually

defining you know where they are at and where you are at so the first thing I

would do is actually define this for yourself is this friend you're thinking

of progressing as well are they someone who is trying to improve themselves and

improve their lives and you just happen to be a little bit ahead of them maybe

you got lucky or you had some career progress is this someone who's trying to

improve and shares a similar ambition to you or are they really like happy where

they are or even worse not happy where they are but can tend to stay there you

know someone who's a debbie downer who doesn't really add a lot to your life if

that's the case where you're going totally different directions and they're

not even happy with their direction but they're happy going down that direction

if that makes sense I would say generally cut and run or at the very

least limit your time you're not going to gain anything by spending time with

this person and in many cases you'll actually enable their behavior by you

know agreeing with them that life is so hard in the world's terrible or whatever

else they have going on now it's very important to differentiate here between

someone who's going through maybe a hard time a friend of yours who hit a

stressful situation is going through a divorce or a breakup or just had some

terrible things happen in their business and someone who is just been that way

since you've always known them and they have no intention of changing you know

you might want to help them but if they don't really want to change and

they're just wired that way and they have no real intent of putting in the

hard work of maybe therapy and personal development or to get past that then

you're not going to help them they're stuck that way and it sucks but that's

how it is so you have to then decide do you want to be dragged down with them or

do you want to continue on your own ambition which maybe has the potential

to inspire a lot of other people to have a better life and change other people's

lives but not this particular person so again assuming that they're kind of

always that way cut it not worth your time

no let's assume the person is on a similar wavelength as you they might

have totally different ambitions you know you might want to be an

entrepreneur they might want to be an actor but you're both people who try to

improve have a good life respect your friends you live with integrity yada

yada yada then what you want to look at is life stage I don't remember exactly

where I heard this but it was something like you should divide your time between

three different stages of people people who are roughly where you are at you

know so let's say you're talking about entrepreneurs entrepreneurs with a

similar business to you in terms of size or years along you know general progress

entrepreneurs who are just starting out or people who are in an earlier stage

than you where you can mentor and teach and that's good for many reasons that's

good for your ego and your self-esteem right it's good because you'll feel like

you're contributing and giving back and it's good because you'll actually be

contributing and so it's good for you and how you feel but it's also actually

good for the world and then the third group would be people who are ahead of

you right people who stretch your comfort zone where you don't feel like

the big fish and maybe you can also be learning from them and growing from them

if you spend all your time with people who are exactly the same level as you

you're probably not going to grow and stretch that much and you're also not

going to have that many opportunities to contribute and give back and feel like

you developed you know one of the things that's cool about working with someone

who is in an earlier stage than you is you do get to reflect and have some

gratitude about all the progress you've made

similarly if you spend all your time with people who are maybe a few years

earlier on their journey you are you're gonna gain some ego

you're not really gonna be pushed or challenge yourself and it's gonna

distort your view of the world in general and on the other hand if you

spend all your time with people who are way ahead of you there's a good chance

you just always feel like behind and you feel stressed and overwhelmed with how

much they've done and it's not to say don't spend time with those people spend

time with them but not all your time because it is important as well to

surround yourself with some people who are in similar situations to you and you

can relate with and you know shoot the shit and talk about how things are going

and similarly mentor people kind of behind you and help bring them along as

well so blow in the comments let me know have

you had to deal with a friend who maybe share different ambitions than you and

if so how did you deal with it and what happened let me know below in the

comments and if you're new to the channel I publish new videos every

Sunday Tuesday and Thursday at 6 a.m. Eastern

1 Big Scary Trend & 3 Tactics to Overcome | #TomFerryShow - Duration: 18:57.

- Everybody wants to own the U.S. real estate market.

(upbeat music)

Hey, welcome to the Tom Ferry Show.

If you and I were sitting down together one-on-one,

and you asked me to be your strategic thinking

and accountability partner,

the conversation I would have with you is the same thing

I'm having with mega successful teams, right?

Top producing real estate agents,

mortgage companies, and most importantly,

many of the CEOs of some of the

biggest brands in real estate.

And that is the acknowledgement of the old slice of the pie

versus the new slice of the pie of real estate transactions.

I'd ask you to consider that in my 30 years

of working in this space, it always looked liked this.

You know, five percent, wholesalers, we buy ugly houses,

you know, ten percent for sale by owners,

and the balance covered by real estate professionals

just like you.

Well, in today's day and age, with billions of dollars

being poured into this real estate business,

the vast majority of which,

not necessarily designed to have you become more successful.

Instead, if you look at the landscape

and how things are playing out right now,

my hallucination is, over the next three to seven years,

there's a pretty good chance,

and it's gonna be fun to watch this show

three to five years from now,

that the real estate industry might

look a little more like this.

(computer beep)

Yes, we'll still always have that DIY opportunity,

and certainly, there's many for sale by owner sites

that are making that even more attractive

for that segment of the market.

There's always gonna be that wholesaler business

but they're now gonna struggle

because a much bigger percentage of the business

could become the "I" Buyer right?

The hedge funds, and all the other businesses out there

and you see the announcements every single day

of who's coming into this space.

Because everybody wants to own

the US real estate market.

And not just the market, the houses, and the rent

because at the end of the day

its a phenomenal real estate or just investment.

And then, we also have the hybrids out there

that are looking for slicker, more sophisticated marketing

to make sure that they get in front of consumers

and offer a flat fee service, a discounted rate,

a better technological way

to navigate a real estate transaction.

And again, they're gobbing up market share.

Now here's the deal: if this didn't exist,

we wouldn't have this problem.

And if you're watching this show right now

and you looked at the headline

you might be saying to yourself:

Wait a minute Tom, if all that stuff is happening

and there's in the US 1.3 million agents,

only 43,000 that are selling more than 25 homes a year

and with America's best in the Wall Street Journal 1000

coming out we know there's only another call it

all in maybe 15, 16,000 agents that'll do

last year more than 50 transactions

or 20 million dollars in sales volume.

Just in the US. Guess what?

That piece of the pie over the next 3-7 years

has the big possibility of getting compressed.

And the question is: what are you gonna do?

Now in fairness, if you're not planning to be in real estate

in the next 3-5 years I would just say turn this show off

and go watch something else.

But if you're like so many men and women

that I work with, if this is your career

this is your business.

This matters to your family, to your life

and everything you want to accomplish

in the future then you need to listen up.

The game today is about what do we need to do

to position ourselves to become that obvious choice.

Jay calls it the strategy of preeminence.

So let me say it to you like this.

Think about the average consumer today.

They buy a house or they sell every 10 years.

So what are you really good at in your life

that you only do once every 10 years?

And if you only do something once every 10 years

how would you go about the selection process today

versus say 10 years ago?

There's a pretty good chance this is gonna be involved.

And if you look back over the history of real estate

there was a time when NARR would say to us

"Hey the vast majority of real estate professionals

are found by way of word of mouth or a direct referral

from someone that they know."

Well look at the stats today. It's almost nonexistent.

Why? Because this has taken over the world.

Now, I'm not saying this is bad.

I think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I'm telling you though, the game has changed.

(computer beep)

Think about it like this.

Let's do a hypothetical.

Your spouse calls you and says, "Hey go buy a bag of chips

and bring them home for a little party."

And let's just say,

you haven't bought a bag of chips in 10 years.

Just like the average buyer or seller,

you haven't done it in 10 years.

So what do you do?

You go into the grocery store, you walk down,

you look at that giant aisle and you're like:

"yellow, yellow, blue, red, gluten free, what's that?"

All of these different bags, all of these different brands

some are lime, some are tequila,

some are this, some are that.

Tequila?

And you're like: "what?"

Now, there's an old strategy in retail

that says all you need to do is just keep things

on that eye level, that's the premium location

where you want your stuff to be.

But now the new stats show you want to be at the bottom

because everybody's walking in looking at their darn phone.

But even then you got this giant aisle.

How do you stand out?

I'd ask you to consider,

that's your challenge today my friend.

That's your challenge.

How do you stand out and compete against

the 16, 17 billion dollars being spent

by all of these extraordinary companies

with extraordinary- I mean look guys.

New brands, real estate brands.

Old brands re-surging themselves,

recreating their story right?

Legacy brands been around forever

all these new start-ups, all these savvy internet marketers,

all these incredible SEO experts.

All these people spending a fortune to dig in

to that 80 to 100 billion dollar real estate transaction

or that trillion dollar plus real estate valuation.

There is a lot of competition right now.

Now if you're watching this

and you're getting a little nervous, good.

Let me give you three of my nine positioning strategies.

I'm gonna go macro and then I'm gonna go micro.

Macro, what's the big idea?

Micro, a few strategies that we've seen work in the past

that perhaps you can reinvent that trigger in you

this is what I'm gonna do and then you go execute.

So, no order of importance,

here's the first one I wrote down.

If you want to stand out, if you want to be recognizable,

if you want to become the one

that the vast majority of people reach out to,

then you need to make an offer, a promise, a claim,

or a guarantee that no one else is willing to make.

Think about it.

You need to make an offer, a promise, a claim, a guarantee

that no one else is willing to make

or willing to make.

So that's the macro idea.

The micro considerations, things we know, in real estate.

What are we seeing?

Hey if we don't sell your house in 90 days we'll-- yeah.

You remember this. We'll buy your home.

When that came out no one else was doing it.

It was super controversial.

Red flags everywhere, but you know what?

Who's phone was ringing?

Who was getting the listings?

It was a unique enough promise or claim or hook

that people were like "that makes sense to me."

Now certainly that was not during the fiery times

that we're experiencing for most of the world right now

with shorter average times on market.

But if you're selling, my friends, down in like Australia

and I hope you're still watching this

because we're talking so USA here,

that there are certain market segments

throughout the country of Australia and New Zealand

where the average time on the market now

is five, six, seven months, right?

So maybe that strategy is applicable for you.

Another one is, we've seen this and this is certainly newer:

"Hey if you list with me I'll get it on TV

or I'll get it on the front cover of who-vee-doo magazine."

And you know what?

Even though it's not as strong as the first one,

right it's not as strong, it's still different

if you're the only one doing it.

Another one is, "Hey I'll do a mega open house."

Well listen, when we started teaching that in 2010,

and really making it a part of the strategy

of helping all of our clients grow

it was so unique and different.

Today, maybe not so much

unless you do something extraordinary.

But I wrote down-- here's one to consider.

What if, and this is actually a part of another one

of my strategies called do more right for the same,

do more for the same.

Check this out.

What if you said, "Mr. and Mrs. Seller

before we go live one of the things I'm going to do

is I'm going to have a team of people come in,

they're gonna redo the carpet, the paint.

We're gonna stage, we're gonna declutter,

we're gonna make your home absolutely show perfect

to get you the highest possible price

and sell in the shortest amount of time possible.

And I prearranged nearly 50% of discounts

on all of these services on your behalf

to get it done in the next two weeks

to have your property show-ready.

And the best news for you is, if you say yes,

it can all come out of the close of escrow.

Now, I said that and it was kind of long

but I want you to think about what I just said there.

We know the studies around the home being show-ready,

we know what it means when it's staged versus not staged.

Could that be a simple offer or claim

and if not that, then what?

What are you going to do to stand out

when some of these hybrid companies are now

just saying, "Hey we'll just buy your home.

Heck, we'll buy the next home

and make the transition for you, no problem"

Because they're thinking about mortgage, title, escrow,

and all the other services plus the spread

on buying that property for a little bit less,

fixing it up, and selling it for a higher margin.

Am I talking too fast, or are you with me on this?

This is an interesting time right now to be in our business.

And its gonna be really interesting

for those of us strategic thinkers

who are now looking at the market

and saying, "Hey, you know what?

Probably gonna need a little more than

on the back of my card, oh by the way I work by referral."

Which by the way, wasn't that an awesome thing

like 18 years ago?

But when everybody started to do it,

it didn't matter anymore.

No one cared because, listen,

when everybody's doing it, what's the old line?

When you're not unique, you're weak.

When you're not unique, you're weak.

Let's look at the second one. Ready?

This is a good one.

Number two strategy for positioning yourself

against all these threats is

to clearly articulate who your service is for

and therefore who it's not for.

To clearly articulate who it's for, that's the macro idea.

So I gave you just a couple examples, right.

Who are you for, versus who are you not for.

If I said to you, the brand name Sotheby's,

who would you say they're for?

The 20,000 dollar trailer park in Oklahoma?

Probably not.

Is it the penthouse listing in

Hoobydill Upscale Marketplace?

Probably yes. Why?

Because a brand like Sotheby's is synonymous for luxury.

What do you stand for?

When people think about you, what's your brand?

Who are you for, who are you not for?

They made it very clear.

But then I thought about one from a few years ago

with one of our clients Kurt Wannebo.

Now, back in the day known as Short-Sale Kurt.

Kurt was so aggressive in his short sale strategy

that he was even running television ads

where you would see him zhoom "I'm Short-Sale Kurt"

I mean it was, sorry Kurt,

it was like cheese ball on steroids,

but it was unbelievable the phone calls and the inbound,

people going online emailing and calling.

So much that it was overwhelming and we needed

to create a better strategy.

A better strategy to have people go through a process

before they got to him because you know what was happening?

He had to answer the same 37 questions

over and over and over and over and over

and as exciting as that sounds, not at all,

in a little strategy session I said,

"Well what if we just recorded a bunch of videos

and you basically pre-qualified them,

answered all the questions, told them all the pitfalls,

all the things that are gonna happen,

what gonna go on with their taxes,

when will they be able to buy a house."

He goes, "I know everything I need to tell them."

I said, "Put that in a series of videos

and then when someone calls in, or they email,

or they request a meeting with you,

they can't do it until they watch all that."

Guess what happened.

Soon as he produced that, it made it where his conversion

was so high and more importantly

the clients understood exactly who he was,

exactly what his services,

what his degrees of separation were

and how he was gonna manage the process, and bam.

I think this last year he closed nearly 400,

it was like three hundred and some

ginormous number of short sales.

See, go from the macro idea:

who is my service for, who is it not for?

And remember this, I wrote down hint:

if you're for everyone, which is what everybody tries to do,

"condos to castles baby,

I'm licensed in the state of California, I'll go anywhere."

It's such a huge mistake because hint,

when you're for everyone, you're for no one.

When you're for everyone, you're for no one.

So what do you do?

You ask yourself, "Who's my ideal client?"

Now when you ask that question,

you can't say "the person that is totally compliant with me,

that will give me all of their money,

they'll never give me objections,

and they refer me 50,000 people every single year."

Okay hold on. First time on the Tom Ferry Show.

(inhales as if smoking)

Good luck with that.

Right? Why don't we be a little more sensible.

Hey my ideal client is someone

that is studying the marketplace,

that understands the ins and outs,

the transactions, the prices.

They are aware of what's going on.

They've already met with their lender.

They've been pre-qualified.

And they selected me because I understand

that much more about the real estate world,

and the negotiations, and the agents than anybody else.

So we've got this mutual respect of both understanding

and value that I deliver to the table.

Who's your ideal client?

Then the second question is, "What are their pain points,

what are their needs, and what are their ambitions?"

What are their pain points, what are their needs,

what are their ambitions?

And if I can articulate what their pain points are,

I can then create content around their pain points

and how we solve it in a beautiful, elegant, provable way.

Does that make sense?

Which is kind of the last question.

Which is once you identify their pain points,

and their ambitions, and their needs,

how do you articulate how you solve it in provable way?

Measurable, statistics, data,

you know eight out of ten as an example

in a systematic way for your clients.

Then you can push that into the marketplace

as your degree of separation

and stand out amongst all the noise

on that bag of potato chip aisle.

Does that make sense?

I can't wait to see the comments on this

because this is interesting.

Alright let me go to the last one

and I've got so many to share

but I'm just sharing three because I know

its just kind of one, two, three too many whoosh

your brain explodes.

So here's number three.

If you want to stand out in a marketplace,

you gotta totally dominate a niche.

Now, I have been a huge fan of this

from day one in marketing 30 years ago.

The old line was niche to riche, right?

Niche to rich.

Again, when you're trying to be all things for everybody,

then you're usually for no one.

So the macro point is, what niche do you want to dominate?

Where do you want to become the recognizable expert?

And here's what I wrote down.

It could be for example a geographic farm,

it can be that you bought every zip code

from every portal in a certain territory

so on the online space you totally dominate it.

Number three, it could be something like expired listings

that you are the queen of when you tried to sell

and it didn't work, I repackage, reposition,

get the home sold in the shortest amount of time

at the highest net proceeds

and I've done it 197 times this year.

Actually I don't even want you to call me first,

I just always want to be number two.

I'm Avis we try harder, as an example.

Number four, maybe you become the niche king or queen

of first time buyers with mediocre credit.

Now you say, well wait a minute, wow,

that sounds almost kind of obscure

not sure if I want to work with that group.

I want you to think about a group of people

that would refer you more than anyone else.

My FICO score was 11, you helped me get it up to 640

and then I bought my first house.

(melodically rejoices)

You're a saint to them.

You don't think that they're going

to call every one of their friends

and say, "No listen to me, you gotta call Shawn,

you gotta call Jillian.

They're unbelievable! I mean I was down in the dumps--"

It's the zero to hero and you were the cause of that.

And that's your niche.

It could also be hey, you're the king

of helping them invest in real estate.

You're Mrs.Duplex, Triplex, Fourplex,

you're the one that says,

"Hey I love the fact you've been living in your home

for 20 years, you've got this much equity.

We need to sell that house

and get that capital moving for you.

What's your retirement plan?"

So you're looking for the "non-sellers" not the sellers.

You with me? I want the non-sellers.

You've been there for 20 years, you've got a ton of equity,

it's time to sell that house,

go buy a new home that's going to get greater appreciation

versus the old dog you live in now,

and we're gonna go buy you a duplex or fourplex.

So now you've got cash flow coming in in your retirement.

So that becomes your niche

or it could just be non-owner occupied.

You're the one that knows all the people

that own all the two, three, five, seven, 10, properties

in your area, and you become the expert of that.

The bottom line is this my friends.

The bottom line is this.

The wave of the institutionalization

of real estate has started.

Now that wave may only be this big,

but if that wave continues to grow

and the market, and this,

and consumer behavior continue to say

this is the direction we're going,

it's just easier, why go through the stress, etc.

If that's the way it goes,

then it doesn't mean the end of real estate.

Be really clear, I'm not saying it's the end

of real estate agents at all.

Am I saying of the 1.3 million agents in the US

that there's a good chance that a lot of them

are gonna become obsolete?

1000% yes.

I think it's gonna become very focused brokerages,

it's gonna become hyper focused independence,

it's gonna become unbelievable teams

that are utilizing all the assets at their ability

to go out and dominate.

And those single agents that stand out

like that gluten free tequila bag of potato chips--

gluten free tequila bag of potato chips?

You know what I'm talking about.

You gotta stand out like sore thumb,

because if you don't--

(claps loudly)

Listen my friends, it's just going to be hard.

So, this is a fun show for you.

What are you thinking about?

It's 2019 (quick snaps) the world is speeding up

and I gotta tell you,

I don't think there's been a more exciting time

than right now to be in this business

if you're a strategic thinker.

[190205] Engsub 세븐틴 SEVENTEEN SVT School Ep 2 [art class with 전인 선생님] - Duration: 9:08.

[SVT school second class, art class]

[Fun start at SVT school] - Hello. - Hello teacher.

[Amazing look] How gorgeous.

[The teacher who looks like Jeonghan?] He looks like Jeonghan.

- He is my nephew. - Really? - Really?

He went to the clinic because he is sick.

I am Jeonghin, your teacher for the second class.

- Jeongin! - Jeongin?

[The singer of I Hate You, Jeongin? or Jeongin(x), Jeonghin(o)] - The one sings I Hate You? - Jeonghin?

[Vernon is shocker at his naming skill] Wow, what a unique name.

I never met a person whose name includes 'hin'.

- My mom, - That's why your hair is white?

[Wow, that is so Mingyu]

[His hair is blonde?] - Are you discounting blonde hair? - Got it.

We will start the class.

Do you know the subject?

[Kwonhoshi] - Me. - Which one? - Art class.

- No. - Me. - Aerobic class? - Aerobic!

[Jeonghin's fun time for Aerobic] - Hey all!

[Blue light from no where] Aerobic!

[The8 couldn't hold his fun nerve] Wow,

He is so good.

[It is sort of an ice break tactic] It is a joke.

I did a little bit of an ice break.

[The blue hair] It was a joke.

[All the eyes are on him] - Art class. - One sec. Isn't he Mr. Seungkwan?

[Pu teacher] It is my birthday today and I am off early today.

[Raise hands one more time] Seungkwan.

[Jeonghin is moved] Bingo.

[Two faces that are seen rarely] - What's the answer? - Love carat.

[Hoshi, you really are great] Hoshi, you got a great sense.

[Jeonghin is giving him a lemon] - Take this lemon. - Thanks.

- Then, what year was it last year? - You can eat it all.

- Have it all. - Have it all.

It is a year of a golden pig.

[Hoshi put the entire lemon in his mouth] - Right. The year of a golden pig.

Right?

So, today,

[Making a pig] We are going to make a pig.

- We are pigs already. - Well, then you are already done.

[Lemon is too tart] Take a look at him.

[Smile] - Hoshi, do you like it? - Yes.

[Hoshi who is eating the lemon is too cute]

[Back to the class] - If you look here, - There are materials.

- Do you know i clay? - I know it.

[AXClay we had so much fun when we were kids] With the clay we were playing,

[Colored foam sticks] And this stick,

I haven't seen the foam sticks for a long time.

Have you eaten the sticks?

You ?

[Dino is curious about the taste] How was it? I am just curious.

- I ate it our of curiosity. - How was it?

[Of course] It sucked.

[Dogyeom tried colored paper] He has eaten colored papers.

[Dogyeom thought each paper with different color has different taste] Depending on the color,

[Materials to make the pigs] We got materials here.

[Picking the game with Jeonghin]Through playing a game,

- We have to win? - Yes.

You will get the material depending on the result of the game.

You two, you two, you two, you two are pairs.

And each team will make a pig.

Pick one who will do the rock scissor paper.

[Rock scissor paper] Rock scissor paper.

[Joshua and Hoshi team picks the material] Okay. The8 lost.

Rock, Joshua come out here.

- Can I take anything? - Take 3. - Only 3?

[Joshua being super careful] This,

Okay. Take them.

Let me do it again. Rock scissor paper.

[Rock scissor paper] Rock scissor paper.

[Except for Coups who put scissor, everyone gets to pick one] Good. Paper, come out.

I was honest.

[3 teams picked 3 materials] - 3? - Yes.

[The last team picked theirs] - I wanted to do this. - Take that.

Your time is limited.

[Make the pig in 5 minutes] In 5 minutes,

You should make a pretty pig.

[Super competitive] What do we get if we make it first?

You get to rest.

[If you make it in 2 minutes, you rest for 3 minutes] If you make it in 2 minutes, you rest for 3 minutes

[Start] Start.

[Woozi looking happiest today] [hehehehehe]

[Jeonghin is making?] The pig I am making ,

[He is making a black pig] A black pig.

I made a black one.

Drop it everyone.

[Made well in a short time] Everyone did so well.

Everyone, present your end result.

[Already on the way out there] Us first.

- Dogyeom, come out. - Yes.

[Mingyu and Dogyeom is taking the table with them] We have to take this.

[Dogyeom is one with the table] Well done.

[Not selling. I am just a student]Hello.

[The year of a golden pig] This is the year of the golden pig.

[Made a pig with the golden band] So, this is our product.

He is having the golden band on his head.

- Well done. - So good.

[The only thing is he has to hold the table] Well, to see that,

You have to take the table off,

[It is heavy but you can use it as a mask] It is a mask.

Applause for Mingyu's team.

[Applause]Applause.

Next team, please.

[Jun and Vernon made a pig that is in a golden color] We were told to make a golden pig,

- So, we chose a yellow that is close to gold. - Real golden pig.

- Real golden pig. - Since 2019 is the year of a golden pig.

We made one.

This is better than the one of the first team.

- Right. - We can just see it like this.

[You can see it in any angle] - You can see it in any angle - Multi dimensional.

You can display this too.

[Thumbs up] - Applause! - Well done.

[Jeonghin never picks one who raise their hands] Next one, The 8 team.

Why does it have yellow and red ears?

[Proud] Golden pig.

Why only one side though?

[Woozi is realistic] - Gold is expensive. - And,

[It is not realistic that the entire body is made up of a gold] - That every part is gold,

is not very realistic.

[By the end of 2019] - Then, it might get super expensive. - This is the beginning of 2019.

[The entire body will become gold] - Now... - By the end of this year,

- It will all become gold. - Right.

[Woozi and The8 team, very realistic] Got it.

Let me give you applause.

[The longing eyes] The next team,

[Finally Joshua and Hoshi] Hoshi team please.

The hero always shows up late.

[Standing ovation] [Legendary response for Joshua and Hoshi]

This pig,

This is so big, no comparison to your pigs.

- Giant pig? - Right. It is giant.

- Big pig. - When Hoshi team was here,

[Jeonghin thought they were making a pig with the pink nose] I only saw this part.

I thought you were making the nose only.

- No. - The whole thing. - Big picture.

Got the mouth too.

[Big picture by the two] We got everything.

This is the shape of ears. Ears

[Joshua and Hoshi's pig is expressed in details] Right. Great.

- Applause for them. - Great.

Our pig,

[Small and cute pig] - Small. - Cute. - Cute?

You made the pigs with the clay.

[Coups and Dino's pig is different] - Ours is different. - Different?

[Never miss these things] - Different. - They are melted.

[Happy Coups] They are different because...

He had a face mask sheet on last night,

[Pig with a great skin] He got the skin care,

- His skin is great now. - The elasticity.

The sheet mask,

[The second class is over] So, the class,

is over.

Over?

How was it?

- It went by so quick. - We are running out of the time.

[But SVT wants to go home too] Everyone wants to go home soon.

Teacher, pick the best one.

[The one the teacher picked?] - The best. - The best.

For me, Hoshi's team.

[Joshua and Hoshi's team winning ceremony] Giant pig!

[Woozi's laughing point]

- Very creative. - Amazing.

Amazing.

[Happy to be chosen as the best]

News24 - Man Utd news: Danny Murphy reveals the ONE star who can win United title… next season - Duration: 3:11.

That is the opinion of former England, Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy

Rashford has hit a rich vein of form since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United interim boss

The 21-year-old has started all eight Premier League games under Solskjaer, scoring in six of them

Rashford has been given a starting berth as the central striker in the majority of those matches ahead of Romelu Lukaku

And Murphy believes United do not need to sign a forward this summer because they can rely on Marcus Rashford as their main goal-getter

"I don't think Man United need to worry about that area of the pitch anymore when they look at recruitment," Murphy said on talkSPORT

"Rashford is the answer, they do not need to look on the market now for a striker

"If you look at the top three strikers in the country at the moment, [Mohamed] Salah, [Harry] Kane and [Sergio] Aguero, they regularly score goals it doesn't matter of their playing well or playing badly, you can rely on them to score goals

"Rashford hasn't had the same longevity in that position to match their goals tally, but my view on him is he has absolutely everything he needs to be at that level

"So when United are looking next season and can they mount a title challenge, what do they need? "I think they can hang their hat on him

I think they can say, 'there's our number nine, and he's going to be the one to get us 25 goals a season'

"He's still only 21, let's not forget about that. "He doesn't need to be someone who can be used in different positions

He can become the main striker who United can build their team around."   Murphy reckons Lukaku will not be happy being second choice to Rashford and will look to leave Manchester United at the end of the season

"I don't think Lukaku will want to be a number two, he'll want to be the main man somewhere," he added

"I think Rashford has become the main striker who plays in all the big games for Man United

"And I don't think Lukaku is going to sit around as Rashford's understudy, I think he could go in the summer

LAW OF ATTRACTION 💫HOW TO GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT in 3 STEPS - Duration: 15:28.

in this video I'll be talking about the law of attraction and three steps that

you can take to get everything that you want in life I'm Andrea Jean and on this

channel we talk about all things motivation if you're interested in that

go ahead hit that subscribe button you do not want to miss any videos coming

your way I post three days a week let's jump right on into it what is the law of

attraction you may have heard this thrown around it is some powerful stuff

at the end of this I'm going to share with you two examples in my life I have

lot more examples than that but I'll be sharing two with you about how this

strategy has produced some pretty wonderful results let's break down the

law of attraction really quick first essentially we have a belief we take

action we get a result a desired result and it reinforces our belief it

essentially starts to become this really powerful loop of belief action results

reinforce but let's get into some practical ways that you can do this in

your life to get everything and anything that you want yes I said it

step number one you have to get crystal clear on what it is you exactly want is

it building a business is it losing 10 pounds is it getting a computer is it

owning a particular car it could be anything it could be superficial

it could be non superficial what is it for you that you want get so clear on it

it can be things that are small it could be things that are big it doesn't matter

but get very very clear and concise about what it is that you exactly want

in fact if you could put a picture on your wall of it I want you to visualize

that so now that you've gotten crystal clear on what it is that you want from

something tangible like a computer or a car or maybe you want to attract a

proper mate for yourself someone that treats you well some

that respects you you name it it's up to you the second step to help you get

whatever you want using the law of attraction is you have to go into

full-on manifestation mode what the heck does this even mean in fact what does it

even mean to manifest I've heard that term thrown around

well in fact I look this term up I wanted to know how the dictionary define

this term manifest clear or obvious to the eye or mind sometimes a relationship

isn't something that you can exactly see physically but in your mind you can have

a clear representation of what that would mean as a verb display or show by

one's acts or appearance to demonstrate well let's break it down in step 2 we

need to go in all-out manifesting mode essentially what needs to happen is you

have to feel as if your manifests your goal whatever you want to call it has

already happened crazy I know so that relationship you want that car you want

that computer that you want the business that you want you have to act and

believe as if it has already happened you want to be a director at your

company you are going to act as if you are already the director at your company

in your mind you need to visualize what this would be like you need to live it

breathe it journal about it you need to get laser focused on this thing that is

so important and clear to you and act and live as if it has already happened

you are essentially conditioning yourself and your mind that whatever it

is that you're wanting to obtain or achieve has already occurred in

psychology terms we tend to refer to this as your environment is responding

to what you are putting out there so if you are acting like the director of your

company you're acting like you own a computer

you are gonna invite certain things from your environment that's going to

reinforce what you want and when you talked about our circular effect here we

have a belief action result reinforced you can see how this can become some

pretty powerful stuff in step two I want you to all out manifest mode the crap

out of whatever it is that you want and there's no set time period for this sort

of thing you do whatever seems feasible until you have met your manifest or your

manifest has come to life but in your mind it has already come to be you are

living your life as if you have the thing that you already want as if you

have the relationship that you've been striving for that you've been trying to

invite into your life things that can be really helpful in the manifestation mode

podcasts books journaling having mantras writing things out to consistently

reinforce the manifest that you have for yourself so believe as if it has already

occurred as crazy as this is you have to believe that it's possible if there is

no belief in this this isn't going to work this is not going to be effective

so believe it and live as if it has happened well you are in manifesting

mode it is important to express gratitude and be grateful for where you

are currently at if you are not grateful and you do not have gratitude for where

you are and the things that you've already achieved or obtained resistance

is going to build up and that is going to hinder the ability for your

manifestation to come true or your goal whatever term that you want to use to be

relatable but in the terms of law of attraction we want our manifestation to

become true think of someone successful in life who do you admire think of it in

your mind this particular person likely started

from nothing and they something fabulous something that you

yourself admire are something that you yourself want to obtain how did they get

from point A to point B they believed that they could from the beginning and

they act as if it had already happened they were grateful and had gratitude for

their current situation so it allowed them to appreciate and invite these

positive things into their lives so you have to believe that something has

already happened for you before it has actually happened and my third step how

you can use the law of attraction to get anything and everything you want in life

your actions have to align with your manifest your actions what you do day in

and day out have to be consistent and aligned with that thing that you want so

if you want a healthy relationship you want to attract someone into your life

that complements you and treats you well your actions have to be that would

attract someone like that so don't get all on your crazy train doing all that

crazy stuff treating yourself like crap because you are going to attract someone

in your life that validates that so you have to display the behaviors that align

with what you want you have to get so focused so determined on that thing that

you want if it's a brand new car your behavior is day in and day out have to

be doing things that are going to help you get to your manifestation so this

isn't just about wanting a goal thinking that it happened and then you can wash

your hands up and it's done no no no there is some work behind this but I am

Telling You you can honestly obtain anything and everything that you want

and in the process being grateful for where you are right now is so important

you've heard this thing before that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer

but I want you to use the law of attraction to think about why that might

be the case there are a lot of variables and

politics involved in it but using the law of attraction if you have a belief

about something and you take action that's consistent with that belief it's

going to reinforce the belief so you continue to do the things that puts you

in the right direction if you think you're a hopeless person

and there's no success for you and you hate yourself and your life you are

gonna take actions that will reinforce that and it's also then gonna reinforce

the belief that do you feel crappy and that you're an awful human being so we

get crystal clear on what it is that we want we manifest the heck out of that

thing and our behaviors align with the thing that we want we act as if this

thing that we want has already happened all and being grateful for what is

currently so if you have not tried this I want you to give it a try

it could be something so simple as a cup of coffee

it could be something great and huge whatever you want to do for yourself but

believe that it can happen our minds are so powerful if you know someone or if

you are someone yourself that struggles with anxiety and depression more often

than not you may find yourself physically sick physically tired

headaches gastrointestinal problems the mind is powerful stuff

so we can use these strategies and tactics to help us for good to get good

things that we want in our life but you got to believe it and your behaviors

have to line with what it is that you want so now let's talk about two

examples in my life and these are powerful examples of how this has

actually played out and this is what keeps me going

remember we talked about the reinforcement piece mm-hmm building this

YouTube channel same concept applies here start from nothing and I have a

vision of where it's gonna go and I am acting as if it has already happened

so if you keep watching for the next year or so let's just see what happens

it could be our own little experiment if you will so the first example that I'm

going to talk about is when I was in college I remember I was a freshman and

I had a specific manifestation goal if you will of meeting my future husband as

a sophomore I don't know why I got so particular about that but I said I want

to meet my future husband my sophomore year of college

we'll have those college experiences together and then we'll go off and live

happily ever after well I ended up meeting somebody my

sophomore year of college and we were friends first and I didn't particularly

think this is someone that I was gonna date or anything that was gonna be long

term he was like the nice guy he was so different than other guys that I had

dated but I remembered this goal and I would keep it the forefront of my mind

so anytime we were together I would think of him is is he the one that I'm

supposed to marry and have these college experiences with and eventually have a

family with someday so things started going well we were friends we started

dating things started to get a bit more serious we dated for several summer

months and I just wanted to see if if this was actually true was this the guy

that I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with and we ended up breaking up

and it was pretty devastating and I kept thinking about this goal that I had or

this manifestation that I had and we still kept in contact we still kept

hanging out something still kept drawing me to him and you know what I am married

to this man we've been married for three years and together for 15 so there you

have it all right so my second example of how

the law of attraction has played out in my life more recently is when we went

through our debt free journey what I started doing I went onto YouTube and I

watched a free screams day in and day out

I have probably seen every debt free screen that he has on YouTube at that

time when those people our family would go on there to do their debt free scream

and talk about their journey I could physically feel it like that was me I

could feel the energy the excitement the that they had experienced and I wasn't

even the one that had accomplished it but I was acting as if it had already

happened I had my spreadsheets I had it very

clear and concise in my mind what I wanted to happen and that was to be

debt-free before I had our first child my actions day in and day out aligned

with that manifestation I worked 80 hours a week

it was crazy being pregnant yes I know but you know what I knew it was going to

be a short-term sacrifice for a long-term gain I believed it I act as if

it had already happened I had gratitude for things in my life

currently that allowed me to keep going and invites certain things into my life

to continue to reinforce the belief that I had or in the manifestation that I had

had and lo and behold we are debt-free other than our home the student loans

are gone the car loans are gone we have relief and you know what several months

later after we became debt-free my husband lost his job but it wasn't a big

deal we had choices you could either go get another job you could stay home with

our kids what do you want to do to this day he continues to stay home and now he

has an opportunity to build something for himself that he wants but if I had

never believed that becoming debt-free was a possibility and my actions did not

align with that and I got crystal clear about what I wanted this would never

have happened especially those around me are like

you're crazy like living with student loan debts but I mean everybody does

that oh yeah everybody has a car loan - you're nuts like who do you think you

are that you're gonna be debt-free and not have student loans and by the way we

had about seventy thousand dollars of debt and we paid it off in two years

because we got crazy a little bit crazy for a long-term game so this is powerful

stuff people I want you to use these strategies that I've talked about these

three strategies today now what is something that you want for yourself in

this life I want you to manifest the out of it believe that has already

occurred in your actions you cannot do this without work hard work is going to

be key when your environment is not reinforcing the belief that you have it

has to come from 100% within you have to condition yourself that it has happened

I hope that you found these three strategies helpful and how you can use

the law of attraction to get everything that you want thank you so much for

watching we'll see you next one

3ds Max CAT Animation Tutorial - Transition from Walk to Stand Using Local Weights - Duration: 7:56.

Hey, fellow animators, I'm Miloš Černý.

So you have done a walk cycle animation for your game.

And you of course have a basic idle stand pose as well.

But most characters will need some transition animations between these two activities

for it to look good.

So let's take a look at how to do a stop walk transition animation for our favorite wolf here.

Okay, we have two animations here in the stack.

One is procedural walk with three adjustment layers and one is a stand pose, which is just

a pose of a stand surprisingly.

It doesn't have any animation.

So we want to blend these two animations together and create a transition, game animation.

Walk to stand.

First I am going to collapse this walk animation with all the adjustment layers into one absolute layer.

So I have to change few things first.

Let's start by switching the procedural walk to move in space.

And also, change the timeline range to have some frames even below zero.

And add few to the end, just to have the animation a bit longer.

You can see I have used multiplications of 32 because my walk is 32 frames long, but

it's not that important actually.

I would like to specifically give shoutout to my Patreons today.

Thank You to all of you again, because you are the ones that make these videos possible.

I struggle to find motivation to make more videos, but you guys keep me going.

If any of you my viewers, find these videos helpful, support on Patreon is the best way

possible to get more of them.

Thank You again.

Okay. Collapse the layer, to have keys on each frame for every bone.

And let's rename it to walk.32f again.

Now I have turned the layer of and switched back the procedural animation to be on place again.

Because I need to figure out which frame of the walk I am going to use as an exit frame.

The frame where I will start the transition.

I have activated "Layer Transform Gizmo" for the disabled stand pose layer, just so

I can see it as well.

It's the yellow outlines of the bones.

Here I am looking at what frame are the legs in the most suitable position.

Basically all the legs should go through at least one cycle movement.

Meaning going up and down once.

So we have enough time to reduce the speed from walking to stand.

I have decided for the frame 10.

Because it's quite similar to the stand pose, and that means I will do one full cycle

during the transition.

Now when that is decided, I want to move this frame to 0.

It's not exactly necessary but I like my animations to start at frame 0 if possible.

I have to move all the keys to the left by 10 frames, so let's add those to the timeline.

Hit this button here for moving the layers.

And move the last one by 10 frames to the left.

It's the same as if you would select all the keys for all the bones and moved them

on the time line.

But this is just faster.

Ok, now our frame 10 is at frame 0, but the animation is also moved to the left a bit.

We could move it by hand, like I do here.

But if you want to be precise, and for the game animations you should be,

you could do it like this.

Find the frame 10 in the original procedural layer.

Create new absolute layer which will basically create a layer with that frame as a pose

without any animation.

Now let's compare our frame at 0 to this frame.

And we can see it's a little bit off.

So let's just move it so it matches the original.

This is precise enough to not see any difference, so it's ok.

Now let's start with editing the walk layer.

First we need to take care of pelvis because that affects everything.

And especially the Y position axis is important for us.

We don't need keys beyond zero, so let's delete these.

Now we have to decide how many frames do we need for the animation.

I am going with 40 because that should be ok, but it depends on the character,

the speed of the walk animation, and so on.

But let's say 40.

So I have made a key for Y axis on frame 40.

I want the pelvis to gradually slow down as the time goes by.

Which means it has to have a curve like this.

If we play the animation now, you can see the pelvis slows down.

The rest of the things are still moving, but focus on the pelvis.

By this, we also confirmed that 40 frames should be ok for the animation, because

it looks fine at the moment.

Now because we are going to blend this walk layer together with the stand layer.

We have to animate some movement for the stand layer as well.

Basically you want to match it as close as possible with the purple walk layer.

Something like this, but we also have to change the curve to be similar to the walk one.

Now they move more or less together.

Ok, let's do the actual blending.

For the pelvis at frame 40 set Local Weight value to zero.

This means that pelvis will lose weight on walk layer from frame 0 to 40.

The key on 0 is created automatically.

And because the next layer underneath this one is the yellow stand pose, it will start

playing animation gradually from that one.

Do the same for the chest, head and tail.

100% on frame 0 and 0% on frame 40.

If you play the animation now, you can see that everything gradually stops and only the

legs keep moving forward.

Now we have to deal with the legs

and we will do that in the next video.

Lunar cat Author: Victoria Kuleshov, 9 years old

Lunar cat

It is said that the moon cat

Somewhere on the moon lives.

I wish I could be there

And with the cat to make friends.

We used the cat on the star

Flew in silence.

Played blind man's buff, napkins,

Hide and seek, hopscotch, jump rope.

Poor cat alone sad

And everything looks to the Earth.

Fly to us quickly

Fly to us quickly

You will find many friends here.
