Go-To Authors I Don't Always Like [CC] - Duration: 7:04.

Hello everybody, my name is Cara, and today I'm here to talk about kind of a weird category

of authors.

I guess you could sort of call them auto-read authors except that these are gonna be some

that I don't actually consistently enjoy their work.

I have no idea how I'm gonna title this video *laughs* but basically I'm gonna be talking

about some authors whose work I always, like I always keep up with, like if I hear that

they're releasing a new book...or, in some cases that doesn't actually apply but if I

hear about a new book of theirs, I'm generally interested in reading it, and a lot of times

I will end up reading it, but if I look at kind of the track record I've had with their

books, it's--it's not really that great.

I guess another way to describe this is that I don't always enjoy these authors' books,

like the stories overall or even the characters, but there's something about the atmosphere,

like the vibe I get from their work, that I consistently enjoy and that I keep coming

back to.

Like their writing or their worldbuilding or just kind of the feeling I get, it makes

it worth it for me to read a book of theirs even if I sometimes really don't enjoy it;

like I still think the experience of reading that book was pleasant even if the end result

wasn't.

*pause* This was the most confusing intro I've ever done; I'm sorry.

Hopefully you'll kinda get the gist of what I'm talking about as I go through the examples.

So the first one I want to talk about and actually kind of one of the inspirations for

this video was Georgette Heyer.

She was very prolific and she wrote like Regency romance primarily and some mysteries, like

murder mysteries, as well, and I have read 6 of her books so far.

Now 2 of them, I only gave 2 stars to: those were Frederica and Lady of Quality, which

I think are 2 of her most popular ones, oops!

And then 3 of them I gave 3 stars to, and those were These Old Shades, The Reluctant

Widow, and False Colours.

And there was only one of her books that I have given 5 stars to, and that is Cotillion,

and I talk about that book all the time, it's one of my favorite novels, one of my favorite

like comfort-food type of books, has one of my favorite characters of all time, one of

my favorite ships of all time, just all around it's a favorite book for me.

So Georgette Heyer like her writing style is so good, like it's so wry and funny and

she definitely knows her stuff...or I should say "knew" because she has unfortunately passed

away, but I just really like all the research that she puts into her writing and the way

that she describes her settings and everything, and the humor is another thing I really really

love.

It's sort of that dry kind of Jane Austen-esque, not quite, but this is the author who I feel

has gotten closest to Jane Austen's humor for me in a lot of ways.

Though I guess Susanna Clarke could kind of qualify as well.

But I just really enjoy her writing style, so that means even when I don't like her books

and as I *laughs* as I told you, a couple of them I REALLY didn't like, I gave 2 stars

to, I still--like I don't regret reading them necessarily because it's like I always know

that I'm going to at least enjoy the experience.

She's a writer that feels very cozy to me, and I enjoy that even if I don't love the

books.

And I think part of the reason I don't love all of her work is I actually started out

with Cotillion which is one of her--is one of her most unusual books as far as the character

archetypes, like in general Georgette Heyer's romantic heroes are kind of like "the rake"

or "the reformed rake" which I...I really hate *laughs* um I really tend not to enjoy

that character type or that romantic interest and I think that's probably part of the reason

why I don't always get along with her books is because a lot of times like those characters

are the ones you're supposed to be rooting for and I just can't do it.

The next author I want to talk about is Michelle Moran.

Now she primarily writes historical fiction that tends to have a very strong romantic

element, but I wouldn't call it historical romance, I would definitely say that she writes

historical fiction that has romance in it.

And she was actually one of the first authors who I remember...I remember like seeking out

as a historical fiction author and that's kinda cool, I think that's one of the reasons

I have sort of a soft spot for her.

Now for Michelle Moran I have only read 4 of her novels.

One of them I gave 2 stars to and that was The Second Empress, one of them I gave 3 stars

to and that was The Heretic Queen, and 2 of them I actually gave 3.5 stars to: Rebel Queen

and Cleopatra's Daughter.

*laughs* So it's kind of funny that she's an auto-read author for me when I've never

given one of her novels above 3.5 stars.

There's just something about her premises and her historical periods that she focuses

on that I tend to really enjoy.

Like she writes a lot about Ancient Egypt, which I love, and she also writes about characters

or historical figures that I tend to really enjoy or be interested in.

So that's why I think she's kind of one of those authors where I don't always love everything

she puts out but if I hear about a new novel she has, chances are it's going to be a historical

time period or historical figure that I'm at least marginally interested in.

So I will probably end up picking up more of her work.

And finally the last one I'm going to talk about is kind of I think an author that could

end up not qualifying for this list anymore because I have a smaller sample size and because

I think I just happened to not start out with books of hers that tend to be the most popular...that

was a very weird way to phrase that sentence but let's just keep going.

*laughs* And that is Juliet Marillier.

I have only read 3 of her novels so far although I own several others and I pretty much plan

to read everything she's written.

She's again one of those authors who even if I don't like the story or the characters,

I always love her world and I always love her writing and the sense of magic.

I just really click with her writing style and I think that's something that keeps me

coming back to her even though some of these experiences were...less than stellar!

So this is kind of another case where I started off with a book I absolutely adored, and I'm

kind of wondering if that set me up for disappointment with some of these other ones, but I first

read Wildwood Dancing which I gave 5 stars to, that's one of my favorite fairytale retellings

I have ever read, and then I read the sequel to that one which was Cybele's Secret, and

I gave that 1 star.

And to date that is one of my least favorite books I have read in my entire life and actually,

this is just a marker of how much--how much I hated this book, I actually skim-read the

last like 60 or so pages maybe, and I NEVER skim-read.

Like even if I am despising a book, I NEVER skim-read, and this one I did because I just

couldn't take it anymore, I had to know what happens and true enough, it was the thing

that I was dreading happening, so I'm really glad I actually didn't waste my time reading

that, the last chunk of that book but um, yeah.

So *laughs* that's how much I hated Cybele's Secret!

And then the most recent book I read of hers that actually ended up in my Most Disappointing

Reads of 2018 video was Heart's Blood.

Now I didn't hate this one, but I only liked it when I was expecting it to become a new

favorite for me.

Because it's a Beauty and the Beast retelling, it has Celtic influences, it's a lot of people's

like favorite Beauty and the Beast retelling, and I just thought it was kind of okay.

So again I think Juliet Marillier is definitely going to become a real favorite author for

me, I think I've just happened to pick ones that I didn't connect with because I really

do love her writing and I have quite a few other books of hers on my TBR that I think

are going to be much more up my alley, like much more successful for me, so we'll see

how this, how this works out, but I did want to include her on this list because as of

right now, she's an author where I have had extremely mixed results with her books from--like

between 1 stars and 5 stars, but I do consider her kind of an auto-read author.

Okay everybody, so those were some authors that I just keep coming back to, even though

based on my experience, maybe I shouldn't?

*laughs* But I--I do still enjoy reading their books even if I don't end up loving the stories

themselves.

Um, I hope this kind of made sense, and that you guys found this a little bit interesting,

I find things like these really fascinating.

I would love to hear if you guys have any authors like this or if you end up doing a

video that's kind of along this theme, please let me know, I would love to watch that.

Oh and also let me know if any of the 3 authors I talked about are kind of in this category

for you, like let me know if you agree with any of my choices.

Thank you guys so much for watching, I will see you soon with another video, and I hope

you love the next book you read.

Bye!

Why You Should Care About War Between Russia and Ukraine | Russia Desk | NowThis - Duration: 8:35.

This dramatic footage shows the moment that a Russian navy ship crashed into a Ukrainian tugboat

moments before the Russian military seized three Ukrainian ships and 23 servicemen. It's the most significant escalation of conflict

in the area since Russia took Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. Journalist Chris Miller works for Radio Free Europe

and he's joining us from Kiev to explain what's happening in the region. Chris thank you so much for joining us.

Thanks for having me. Can you just give us a rundown of what exactly happened on November 25th.

Three Ukrainian navy vessels said that they had radioed their intent to pass through the Kerch strait,

which is this small strait that connects the Black Sea with the Inland Sea of Azov. It was it was shortly after

they radioed to their Russian counterparts to let them know that they were going to pass through or they

intended to pass through the Kerch Strait which the Russians have more or less taken control over

when they were intercepted by Russian naval vessels, at least one Russian fighter jet and

an attack helicopter. And what ensued was one of the Russian ships crashing into the Ukrainian navy tugboat

and then and then open and open firing on the two other Ukrainian gunships and following following this clash that took hours.

They , the Russians that is, detained 24 actually Ukrainian servicemen, the three Ukrainian navy vessels

and took them to one of the ports in Russian controlled and annexed Crimea. You know this is like you said

certainly a significant event and one of the most dangerous I would say since the start of the conflict and the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

So what's the current status of those 24 Ukrainian sailors?

So the 24 Ukrainian sailors appeared in a Crimean court.

They were ordered to be essentially detained in pre-trial detention for 60 days.

We thought they would be held in Crimea perhaps, but then we also learned some of them,

perhaps all of them, were actually transferred to a prison in Moscow.

This kind of came as a surprise to a lot of people who haven't been following the conflict, but

you've been reporting that tensions have been building in this area for a while since the summer especially.

Can you talk to us about that?

To those of us that have been that have been watching pretty closely this wasn't really a surprise.

We saw the potential for a clash like this in the Sea of Azov or the Black Sea near the sea of Azov for

several months tensions really began ramping up in May upon the completion of the Kerch bridge.

by Russia. So this bridge crosses over the Kerch strait which is the only entry way to the inland Sea of Azov

and just you kind of get a sense of the geography and what it what it looks like there,

You know the Black Sea is a very large body of water but the sea of Azov is actually the shallowest sea in the world.

It's the size of let's say a little bit actually smaller than Lake Huron in the U.S. and

it is jointly controlled by Russia and Ukraine under a 2003 treaty that actually refers to these countries as brotherly nations.

But they haven't been behaving so brotherly in recent months. Since May, Russia has detained more than 150 merchant vessels

that have been entering the Kerch strait and traversing that through the Sea of Azov on their way to the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk.

These are two Ukrainian ports that are of great strategic and economic importance to Ukraine.

You know, because these ships have not been able to to get to the ports. It's really hurt the local regional economy there.

It's become another lever for Russia to to apply pressure to Ukraine and in an attempt to to to undermine its democracy

to try to keep it in its sphere of influence. But also Ukraine in turn has detained some Russian ships too.

So the tensions have just been piling up and piling up for months now. And when I visited in August,

I was onboard a Ukrainian naval vessel there and with several servicemen who told me you know it's not a matter of

if it's when something something is going to happen because there's so much going on here.

And the Russians at that time were increasing their naval presence and moving moving ships from their Black Sea Fleet

and their Caspian flotilla into the Sea of Azov as the Ukrainians were trying to move more of their naval vessels in there.

You know, it was only a matter of time before something happened.

Now I think, you know, except when incidents like this happen, people tend to forget that there is a war going on in eastern Ukraine.

As a journalist who's there and who has been covering this for some time,

what do you think people need to know about the ongoing conflict, what's getting lost in, you know, the U.S. national conversation?

Yeah absolutely, there is there's a war that is still going on. You know it's not being fought at the intense level that it was being fought in 2014 and 2015

when dozens if not hundreds of people civilians and soldiers alike were dying every day.

More than ten thousand three hundred people, and that's a low estimate, have been killed since the beginning of the conflict.

And at that time, heavy artillery was being used on a daily basis. We're not seeing that same artillery

being used as frequently now. But the war continues to simmer. And on average two or three servicemen die every week.

We hear of civilians dying almost almost on a weekly basis. Children stepping on mines.

It's a real mess. And now with this dust up there is this concern here and a warranted concern

that things really could kick off and look much like the war did in the worst days in 2014 and 2015.

And I think, you know, I think something that people should be aware of is that the U.S. has backed Ukraine politically, financially,

economically, and militarily. And the Ukrainians are looking for more support. The U.S. has provided

more than a billion dollars now in military support for Ukraine in the form of military training,

radar equipment, Humvees for soldiers to travel in, a number of different things, medical equipment.

They've also given Ukraine antitank missiles which which was a big change in the Trump era from the Obama era.

Obama had refused to give Ukraine these weapons in particular, but the Donald Trump administration

did end up in fact delivering these antitank systems in April.

And so the United States is to a pretty large extent you know involved in this crisis. And I think it's important for

Americans to continue to follow along. Write to senators talk to friends. This is a war that's happening

on European soil. It's not in some far flung corner of the world, for some for some people in Europe,

it's not too far from their doorstep. What Ukrainians are hoping for is you know as much if not more than

military assistance right now. They're looking for the U.S. and their European allies to come together to slap

harsher sanctions on Russia. There is a belief here that you know military equipment can help

but only really you know to help deter Russian aggression and to help you know in the case that Russia does

launch an all out attack. But what what could get Russia really to back off would be much harsher sanctions.

And so you know Ukrainians have been frustrated in seeing statements of condemnation and instead are hoping that the U.S. and

Europe will take the decision to impose harsher sanctions on Russia following this event.

Right. That makes sense. Chris thank you so much for your time I really appreciate it.

That was journalist Chris Miller who works for Radio Free Europe. He lives in Kiev Ukraine and reports regularly there from the conflict

so you should definitely be following his work.

As always thank you so much for watching the Russia Desk, make sure to share this video if you liked it.

And like and subscribe. Thanks for watching.

Did you have lunch?

Yes, I did.

No, you didn't!

Your face looks gaunt.

Bong,

you're upset with your children and wife.

But don't be.

They'll live according to their destiny.

Try some.

Okay. You eat, too.

I had lunch at the senior center.

Mmm, it's good.

Mother.

Seeing you like this... You've gotten so old.

Me?

I didn't know it at home,

but here, you look like a grandfather.

I'm not. I look younger than my friends.

People would think you're my husband.

Don't worry. I'm as strong as a horse.

Mother.

Egh, hyo, hyo, hyo.

I shouldn't starve myself.

It's not like anyone cares.

I should just die! Egh, hyo, hyo, hyo.

Is anyone home?

What are you doing?

I took some medicine.

Did you eat?

I didn't!

I haven't eaten anything in days.

There's rice stuck to your lips.

Did you eat mixed rice? I see chili paste.

You shouldn't lie.

If you ate something, just say so.

Why would you lie about that?

I'm coming from Bong's school,

and oh, seeing him outside the house,

he looked old enough to be my husband.

This is all your fault.

Bong getting wrinkles is my fault?

You lost control of your daughters, and

that stressed my son out, making him old!

I can't believe my ears!

Time goes by and people get old.

You should feel sorry for your husband.

You'll know what I mean when you lose him,

and people start treating you differently.

Your children respect you because of him.

But what if he's gone?

They'll treat you like nothing.

Without your husband, you're nothing,

so be good to him.

When I die, your son will be nothing, too.

If I starve, it's my loss.

Nobody understands me.

Sangnam!

I know we're both men, so I shouldn't say this,

but I just have to say one thing.

My sister

is sick.

Maybe you've been with many women,

but my sister...

For her, you're the first man!

She's not pretty, and she's ill-tempered,

but she's a very good sister.

Why would you make her cry?

You should've never let go of her!

A real man must protect the woman he loves!

Oh!

Good shot!

What was that?

It's hard. This is really hard.

Hello.

We have specially priced items.

If you need help, let me know.

This winter's going to be especially cold, and

this coat is warm but extremely light-weight.

Would you like to try it on?

Oh! Oh! Oh!

Ugh!

I'm home!

- Hobak! / - Yes!

You won't even come out and say hi?

I was busy cleaning.

How was your day?

Oh!

Mom, look. Hobak must

have cleaned the room.

She has to. I'm her mother-in-law.

I have something to say to the both of you.

What is it?

Have some.

Mother, how's your shop going?

Very well. We'll pay back the loan soon.

- Whoa! / - There's nothing I can't do.

I heard I won't ever run out of money.

I know.

Can you bring me some samples?

I heard it's good, so I want to try it.

I can't! They're for the customers.

You should buy them. You make money.

I've never seen you buy any skin care products.

Cosmetic companies will go

bankrupt if everyone was like you.

And beauty salons, too.

After using the samples,

I was going to buy some.

I'm dressing up more now.

You have changed since

you've become manager.

But you still have a long way to go.

It does matter how you take care of yourself.

Now that I handle customer service,

I must make a good impression.

You just wanted to ask for samples?

No.

I'd like to divide the chores up.

What?

I have a full time job, and I have kids,

so I was hoping you could help.

You're not the only one who works!

I know.

All three of us work and are busy,

so let's help each other out.

We live together now, and if things don't

work out, we'll end up hating each other.

As you know, my mom suffered a lot

because of my aunts and my grandmother.

They're still not on good terms,

and I don't want that to happen here.

So let's try to be considerate.

How do you want us to be considerate?

First of all, I'll do all the cooking.

But if you cook something special sometimes,

that'd be nice, too.

Who'll do the grocery shopping?

I joined the bundle program.

What's that?

Farmers send you the things they grow

once a week.

Every week it's something

different, and it's fresh.

I joined it after I moved here,

and it's convenient.

How about the dishes?

When you eat something, you should do it.

You two can do the laundry and cleaning.

Yeongdal, you clean the bathroom.

Me?

Or mother, you can do it.

Oh, man...

I finally went out to the field!

But I didn't do as well as I expected.

I was really good at the range.

That's normal.

What did your wife say?

Nothing. People around her say stuff, though.

Her family?

Yes.

It would've been so wonderful

if you'd met me before getting married.

Oh, I'm craving for something spicy.

Don't you have anything different?

Spicy? Like what?

Something salty and savory.

Like kimchi or...

I don't eat kimchi. It's not classy.

Korean men are weird.

They have to have food like that.

I didn't eat kimchi before.

Don't underestimate me.

Have you thought about it?

Is it a sure thing?

You think I'd lie?

You'll turn a hundred thousand

to two in a month?

Yes.

Oh...

I would love to do it.

I told you how to do it.

I'm scared.

It's not easy to make a hundred thousand.

You can give your father ten thousand.

That'll make your father very happy.

If it goes wrong, he'll kill me.

And I have younger siblings.

Forget it, then. I was being considerate.

Let's go.

So it's a sure thing?

If the others found out, they'd kill me.

I'm letting you in behind their backs.

We never take investments that small.

It's always in millions. You know that.

I do, but still...

Should we go on a trip?

When?

To where?

Soon.

You pick where to go.

I want some time off to clear my head.

You've set fire to my heart.

Ugh.

Ugh.

Nice. Nice and roomy.

This is so nice.

What are you doing up?

What about you, mother?

I can't sleep because Bong's not home.

Oh, I wonder if he's in bed

and if the room's warm enough.

I'm sure he's sleeping really well

at a very nice hotel with a plush bed.

You can't sleep because you miss him!

I can't believe my ears.

With my nagging husband gone,

I feel as free as a bird.

It's freedom for me.

It must be nice to have all that room.

Oh, of course!

I have lots of room to roll around.

And I don't have to get up early and cook.

Good night.

Egh, hyo, hyo, hyo.

Let's see...

Oh, he was so young back then.

He looks younger than me in this picture.

He looked so old and wrinkled.

He could pass as my husband.

You've gotten really old, honey.

It's all your fault, did you know?

Then who made me this old?

This is for our 100th day anniversary.

Honey!

You're the best!

Let's love each other forever.

Forever my butt.

Leave her alone. She's drunk.

You think it'll last forever, don't you?

Dream on!

Don't trust men.

There is no such thing as love!

What's wrong with you? How rude!

Leave her be.

Let me go.

Hey, it looks like you got dumped.

You look really pathetic.

What?

Pathetic?

Hey!

I can't believe this.

So? What are you doing to do about it?

I just feel really sorry for you both.

You're crazy!

This is why you got dumped!

Yes! I was! I was!

I got dumped. So what?

I'm as miserable as can be. So what?

Oh, Gwangbak, let's go.

Hey, pull yourself together!

Your boyfriend's here.

I'm not her boyfriend.

How awful.

How dare you...

Love is difficult.

Hey, ugh...

Ugh! Man...

Uncle, she's not been eating.

It's because this was her first love.

Haebak, you should practice dating.

When you go to college, start dating.

She's suffering from lovesickness.

What do we do, uncle?

This is lovesickness?

I know what it is.

- Father. / - Yes?

Minsuk will be here soon.

It's a very busy day for me.

It's Tuesday.

You should go.

But you didn't get any sleep.

I took a nap when you were asleep.

You should sleep a little more.

I really like the caregiver.

Where did you find such a nice person?

You like her?

Yes, and she's considerate.

She's a great cook, too.

She's perfect in every way.

Has she done that for a long time?

I think so.

I'm glad you like her.

But,

if she comes every day,

it would be expensive.

Don't worry about it. Just get well.

Minjung.

Yes, uncle?

Can we talk?

Lovesickness?

What else could it be?

What do we do?

Why are you asking me?

Is there anything we can do?

This just might end up killing Gwangbak.

Did you sleep well?

I didn't. Ugh...

Where's Subak?

She must be sleeping in her room.

But she's not there.

Where else could she be?

I don't think Subak came home last night.

Why would you say that?

She's sleeping in my room.

She slept with me last night.

I didn't see her. I was up pretty late.

She came home really, really late.

You don't know anything.

What? What? What are you doing?

I have to ask her something.

Ask her later.

Do you have to wake her up?

She got home really late.

You can call her later and ask.

Why are you coming home now?

I told you I left really late.

Shh!

Say you came home really late last night.

If your father finds out, he'll be furious.

Minjung came home early in the morning.

Why didn't he go to work from the hospital?

He came to change before going to work.

I told him you were asleep.

Don't tell him what really happened.

I wasn't out partying. I was working.

Sunjeong.

Yes?

Tell Sangnam I found a woman for him.

Okay. I'll meet her.

Huh?

Sunjeong!

- Sunjeong. / - Minsuk!

Sunjeong! Sunjeong!

Minjung told me about you.

He said he ran into you

making deliveries.

Yes.

This was meant to be.

You look the same.

You do, too.

I've grown old.

It's all in the past,

but after you left him,

he was totally messed up.

I thought he was going to die.

He might have done something stupid

if it weren't for our parents.

But after a year, he started working hard.

He was lucky, and he became successful.

What if you waited for him?

We used to talk about you a lot.

Mom and father never met you,

but they talked a lot about you.

People started introducing women to him,

and he married Subak 3 months

after meeting her.

I thought he was rushing in,

and it was because of you.

He was trying to forget you.

But he's not happily married.

I'm telling you this because I trust you,

but Minjung married the wrong woman.

She looked pretty in the picture.

Who cares about looks? She's not nice.

She's never done anything for my parents.

She's never once cooked them a warm meal.

He has no control over his wife.

He's a kind soul.

He's not. He's stupid.

You should've married him.

He'll get mad if he finds out I told you this.

It's a secret.

Anyway, Sunjeong, thank you so much.

I owe you one.

I'm paying back for my past mistakes.

I know it's not enough.

I'm doing it so I can feel better.

It'll double in a month. Double.

Invest a hundred thousand.

I'll double it to two hundred thousand.

Mom!

Mom!

What are you doing?

Huh?

What are you searching for?

Oh,

have you seen Aeji's red sweater?

She wants it.

Aeji's clothes are in your room, not here.

I only have Jungji's clothes.

Right. I forgot.

Ugh.

Mom, you're not going to the market?

I'm not.

Go to the sauna, then. I'll pay for it.

I'm too tired for it.

I'll boil them,

so you go to the sauna and relax.

You've been really tired lately.

And father's been stressing you out.

I don't feel like it.

This is how you get old! Don't be like this.

You have to live until I send you on a cruise.

Whatever.

I'm never going on a cruise.

You will!

Mom, go and meet your friends.

You haven't seen them lately.

Go singing with them or something.

I can't sing when I'm depressed.

What's wrong with you? I'm too tired.

I want to make you feel better.

Yes, it's me.

What?

How did it happen?

That is so tragic.

Right now?

You want to go now?

Okay.

Mom, are you going somewhere?

Someone died and I have to go to the funeral.

Oh, right now?

Didn't you hear me right?

Someone died, and I'm going to the funeral.

Oh!

I think I heard wrong.

Mom, I'll do this, so go get dressed up.

I can't get dressed up for a funeral.

Oh, what's wrong with me?

I keep saying stupid things.

Call your boss. Say you can't come to work.

Don't worry about that.

I should take care of the kids.

Take the laundry in later.

Okay. Don't worry.

Take good care of Jungji.

I said don't worry.

I'll be back.

Life is so futile.

Nobody knows when he or she'll die.

Mom, see you later.

Oh, honey...

How am I supposed to live...

How could you leave me like this...

Father...

I should've been better to you...

I should've stopped nagging...

I'm sorry.

Honey, I'm so sorry...

I'm sorry...

I can't go on...

How can I go on alone?

Calm down, calm down.

Who am I going to talk to now?

How could you leave me just like that?

Why wasn't I better to you?

Mother! Mother!

What are you doing? Bring some water!

This could happen to anyone.

He died from a heart attack.

How sad...

Her husband retired.

I think he was forced to retire early,

and she was really mean to him for that.

Right. She didn't even cook for him.

They slept in separate rooms, too.

But she must feel really guilty now.

She might be bawling now, but she'll recover.

I feel sorry for the dead.

Right. Look at me.

When my husband died,

I thought I'd die too, but I'm alive.

My husband must be tired of waiting.

You can't die. You have children.

But they can't beat having a husband.

Even if he's bedbound, he's the best.

- Right. / - Yes.

No husband, no respect from your kids.

I envy you the most, Anggeum.

Our husbands are all old and retired,

but your husband is still a vice principal.

What's the use of saying I should've?

I should've been better and stopped nagging.

If you still have husbands,

treat them well, instead of regretting later.

Right, right.

I'm going to start being good

to my husband today.

Let's go.

I have to make dinner for my husband.

Since I'm single, I should go to work.

Anggeum, let's go.

Oh, my!

Oh, seriously...

Haebak called us, saying you might die.

Was he a two-timer?

No, that was a misunderstanding.

Stop working here.

You can't even eat, so how can you work?

When I'm here, I can forget.

I can't stay home.

I keep checking my phone all day.

Waiting for him to call me.

I keep deleting and saving his number.

And I keep checking the phone again.

It's driving me crazy.

Oh, boy.

I don't know what to say.

Trying to console someone is the hardest.

You should get plastic surgery.

What?

Why?

After you get surgery,

you'll be swollen and stuck in your room.

You'd be horrified about getting calls.

It happened to me once.

I forgot about men and looked in the mirror.

That makes sense.

Tell her something she can actually do.

I'm just frustrated. That's why.

Then you should convince father.

I'm sure she couldn't even try because

mom and father fought over of my issues.

Love causes all kinds of trouble.

Don't worry. I won't die.

I'll try to beat this.

You need time.

You two could run away together.

This isn't the Joseon Dynasty.

Who breaks up because of their parents?

He's pretty awful.

He broke up with you over that?

Did you really break up with Gwangbak?

How could you give up so easily?

I was so frustrated, so I called you.

Gwangbak can't even eat.

She's a kind and innocent soul.

You can't just leave a woman like that.

I've lived longer than you,

and meeting the perfect mate isn't easy.

You think you'll find another one? No.

If someone feels right,

don't let go of her.

If I could've, I would've a thousand times.

I would've done everything I could.

I would've begged her parents to say yes,

but this isn't something I can change.

It's about my education and family.

I didn't want to make things hard for her.

Oh, you're a good boy!

You're such a good boy.

Where are you going?

Grandma, grandma.

Let's see how yummy this is.

Is it you, honey?

It's your honey's little brother.

Why are you out here?

I was just taking out the trash.

Mother, I'm home.

Oh, you are!

How was your trip?

- Grandpa, hello. / - Hi.

Good. How have you been?

I missed you so much that I almost got sick.

I don't think I can live without you.

I can't either, mother.

You must be really happy to see him.

- Father, you're back. / - Hello.

Yes.

- Let me have that. / - Okay.

Why don't you say hi? You waited for him.

I didn't wait for anyone!

You cooked all these for father.

I cooked for everyone, not just your father.

Oh, it's a feast.

This is better than my

husband's ancestral rites feast.

You only care about your husband, don't you?

I didn't cook all these just for my husband.

Father,

mom was outside the door waiting for you.

I wasn't!

I saw her waiting for you, too.

She didn't sleep last night,

saying she missed you.

Why would you all say such a thing?

Did you miss me that much?

I can't believe my ears.

- Mother. / - Yes?

It was so nice I didn't want to come home.

I came back because of you.

I don't believe a word of that.

A wife came back from her class reunion

all annoyed, so her husband asked her.

What's wrong?

Did your friend bring a new luxury bag? No.

Are you jealous of someone's son? No.

Then did someone come in an imported car? No.

So why are you acting this way, he asked.

Oh, I'm the only one with a husband! Right?

They don't know what they're talking about.

But it's so nice to hear you both laugh.

The mood was icy the last couple of days.

The most important people in this family

are Bong and Anggeum, understand?

Where's Gwangbak?

She went to the library.

Father, about Gwangbak...

Let's not talk about her.

Subak, what's going on?

- What do you mean? / - A woman for Don.

Stop putting it off,

and just find someone already.

All my friends have girlfriends.

What?

Half the kids have girlfriends.

Ugh...

The school should provide sex education.

Not just about eggs and sperms,

but about how to use condoms and stuff.

Thank you for dinner.

I'm shocked.

That's nothing.

Father, Daebak's right.

The school should provide real sex ed.

Kids these days are so precocious.

I actually agree with you.

Did you think about what you did?

You should think about what you did.

Was it nice sleeping alone?

Of course.

I rolled around the room all night.

What are you doing?

What happened to you during the trip?

Be still.

Man.

I was really harsh, wasn't I?

I said awful things

out of anger.

I'm sorry.

I must be getting old.

Little things seem to bother me greatly.

We're both getting old.

It's the same for me, too.

It's hard to age gracefully.

I keep getting meaner,

and everything is getting rough.

My hands are getting rough,

and even my words are getting rough.

Oh, right!

The grain shop woman's husband died.

But he's not even 70 yet.

I know.

I went to the funeral, and it felt weird.

Why?

Are you afraid of becoming a widow?

Not afraid. I was jealous.

No making breakfast, no nagging.

I was so jealous of her.

Oh, where are you going?

I'm going on another business trip.

You're not going anywhere!

Oh, boy.

Coming back from the funeral,

I felt really weird.

Who will be by my side

at the end of my life?

Who will massage my aching body

and bring me a glass of water?

You have to live a long life.

You can nag me all you want,

but stay by my side for a long time.

The person you have called is unavailable,

so you will be connected to voice mail.

Sedal, I need to talk to you, so call me.

It's not going to be bad, so call me.

It's me.

Oh, yes, yes.

Can you come and meet me?

I have a few conditions.

Conditions?

Tell me.

It can't be anywhere secluded.

Not like the riverbank, like last time.

I want to meet somewhere crowded.

And don't bring Loser

or a baseball bat.

I'll see you there, then.

Okay.

Sedal, I'm glad you came.

Where's Loser?

I didn't bring him.

And I didn't bring a bat.

Sit.

Make yourself comfortable.

I won't beat you.

I didn't ask you here to beat you up.

Really?

- Sedal. / - What are you doing?

You said you won't beat me.

I won't.

Sit, sit.

What would you like to drink?

I'll pick something later.

I'd like to talk first.

I'm sorry about before.

I was too emotional.

I thought about it, and I do understand you.

You do?

I knew you would understand me.

That's why you're a teacher.

Life is long,

so you might want to cheat on your wife.

Right?

You feel that way too, don't you?

Oh, be honest with me.

You do, don't you?

Let's say I do.

There is no "let's say."

Oh, now we're communicating.

I'm sorry I didn't treat you better.

I'm apologizing on behalf of my family.

Everything you said was correct.

I'm sorry.

It's too late for an apology.

In the past, punishment for sins came late,

but now, it comes right away, with speed.

See? You treated me like that,

and look what happened to your family.

Your favorite son-in-law went bankrupt,

Gwangbak is now unemployed,

and I left your daughter.

It's a total mess.

Father,

you should become a strong leader.

Don't let mother push you around.

She's all bark and no bite.

Sedal,

let's pretend none of this happened,

and go home.

Where would you find anyone like Hobak?

She became stubborn to make a living,

but she really loves you.

But I loathe her.

Who's going to take care of you

when you're old and sick?

Think about who will be there for you

when that happens.

The answer will be easy.

When I'm old?

Yes.

Just think about it.

I knew it!

Goof-off! God's punishing you!

I'm so glad you're sick!

I'm hungry. Give me some food.

Food?

Have you lost your mind?

Why did you cheat on me?

I told you I'd get you back!

You deserve more pain than this!

What's that?

Oh, yuck! I hate you!

I wish you were dead!

Oppa.

Girls, say hello.

They are your caregivers, oppa.

Money can buy anything, so don't worry.

I'll get you new organs.

Let's enjoy a long life together.

This is nuts.

I got my answer.

Huh?

What's up?

Look at you! You don't look right.

Dressing up will do you no good.

- Let's get some coffee. / - No.

I want a divorce.

What?

It's not working out. I want a divorce.

I'll pretend I didn't hear that.

- Hey! / - What?

I'm being extremely patient here!

Don't be patient. There's no need for that.

I don't want to talk about this ever again.

You said you wanted a month of freedom.

But why should we wait a month?

You're so weird.

Why do you love me so much?

Even so, it just won't work.

I'm living in a different world now.

So think about it.

I can't go back to how I was before.

You live the way you used to before.

I'm Choi Sangnam.

It's the first snow.

Meeting you tonight

feels very meaningful.

You didn't make any special plans tonight?

Excuse me?

People make plans to meet up

on the day of the first snow.

Lovers say that, too.

Well, I'm here because I have nobody.

You're right.

It's not like our friends introduced us.

It was our parents who got us together,

so I don't want to waste any time.

I like you, Sangnam.

What do you think about me?

I appreciate you saying that,

but do you know about me?

Like what?

Everything.

You can't fully know someone,

so I don't know what kind of person you are.

But I know what you do

and about the environment you grew up in.

I heard from my parents.

Is there anything else I need to know?

My parents are divorced.

It happened when I was really young.

And I dropped out of high school.

I heard.

I don't care about that.

Your parents' divorce isn't your fault.

It's wrong to think you'd be weird because

you grew up in a single parent family.

And a college degree isn't a must these days.

You have a good job and you're set,

so who cares about your education?

It's snowing a lot for the first snow.

Should we go for a walk?

I wore comfortable shoes, just in case.

May I pet him?

Yes.

You must like dogs.

I want to kiss you under a street light

when it snows for the first time.

Let's meet when it snows for the first time.

You're here.

I'm sorry I'm late. It's snowing outside.

It is?

It really is.

It's the first snow.

Why didn't you tell me?

About not being married.

About him being your brother-in-law.

I thought it would break your heart

if you found out I was divorced.

If your ex is doing well, you get upset,

if she's miserable, you feel sad,

and if she wants you back, you get a headache.

Is that so?

That sounds about right.

Everything happened because of my sister.

She was so wild,

and she ruined our family in no time at all.

I had to get married

to save my family,

and my husband was

nineteen years older than me.

Right after I married him,

I knew it was wrong.

I couldn't live with another man

while the man I loved still

remained within me.

I had to see him every day,

eat with him,

and sleep in the same bed,

and I just couldn't do it.

I left him right after my daughter was born.

I lived with him less than a year.

I had to support my daughter,

so I worked really hard.

I had to bring my baby to work,

and people didn't like it.

Eventually, I ended up in Geoje-do Island,

and I ran into my brother-in-law there.

He brought us back to Seoul.

He had built up his business in Seoul,

and now I live with him and his son.

Our lives were ruined by my sister.

And now we all live together.

My story is pathetic, isn't it?

No.

I'm comfortable and happy.

I have a place to sleep,

there's always food on the table,

I can send Miho to school,

and I met you.

That's all I need.

You've had such a hard life.

I had no idea.

Should we go out in the snow?

Like in the old days?

Oh, this is nice.

Hey! You!

Don't!

It's snowing, and I miss you.

Can we meet up now?

I want to walk in the snow with you all night.

Like in the old days.

Your father might wake up.

We should go back.

Who is she?

Subak didn't come home?

She did.

But she went to work early.

It doesn't look like she came home.

What are you doing home at this hour?

Sign it.

I'm begging you. Let me breathe.

I want to meet her parents this weekend.

My parents said yes.

I miss you so, so much.

You should forget about me.

They're setting the date.

And it'll be over between you two.

Tell him I wish him happiness.

You have time - Duration: 1:01.

You have plenty of of time, don't panic I think it was Tony Robbins who said, "most

people overestimate what they can achieve in a year, and wildy underestimate what they

can achieve in 5."

So what I want to encourage you to do, is think strategically, plan and don't panic

your going to run out of time.

Having a more realistic goal over the next 5 years and breaking that down into chunks,

will yield you far greater results than trying to cram everything in the next 3, 6 months

or even a year.

We always always overestimate what we can achieve in a year or in a short space of time.

But what I would encourage you to do is to start thinking a playing, longer game.

Being more strategic, start to think about what you can do over a number of years.

Set a clear intention, have a very clear mission and execute daily with real focus.

Giant Rubix Cubes DIY | 80s 90s Party Decoration Ideas | Dollar Tree DIY - Duration: 11:29.

hey welcome back to my channel and if you're new to my channel go ahead and

hit the subscribe button to see more home holiday event wedding in DIY decor

today I'm gonna show you how to make giant Rubik's cubes prop for a fun and

very cool eighties and nineties themed celebration here we go bakudo 80s and

90s those were the days I personally love the 90s because I grew up listening

to new kids on the block sighs peppa and boys 2 men and it was

just like uh amazing music I mean if I go on a road trip I'm listening to all

Annie's music I mean I fight with my husband because he likes to listen to

80s I like to listen to the 90's but yeah so this is actually in my second

eighties nineties video the first one is a centerpiece this one I wanted to make

bigger because as you know I am into bigger

bigger things now they so bigger prop some bigger projects so I decided to

make Diane move excuse because I thought it would be great for backdrops it will

be great to just have our party to take up some line and just look fabulous and

very cool that's the word that it used to used in

the 90s cool right alright guys so without further ado

let's get started with the video alright guys so today's prop is going to consist

of three Rubik's cubes that are going to be stacked on top of each other so I'm

going to have a large one a medium one and a small one and I'm going to start

with the large one which is going to go at the bottom obviously and for the

large one I'm going to use I'm going to pair two of the black foam boards

together watch me I'm going to need five pairs so you are going to need ten of

these black foam boards for the bottom one alone okay so you are going to use a

total of 20 foam boards which is not bad that's 20 bucks so alright so let's get

started with this one to make these two into one I am going to move them

together with hot glue and then I'm going to secure them with transparent

tape

and it should look something like this now I'm going to go ahead and tape and

glue the other ones and I'll be right back

and it should look something like this now I'm going to go ahead and tape and

glue the other ones and I'll be right back

next I'm going to be cutting card stocks into a by five by a by five squares and

these are the squares that go into the Rubik's cubes here is the one that I'm

going to be using to guide myself with I'm using the NIA look because he kind

of goes with my backdrop although that's not got Nia he says bright but it's not

that bright I mean it's alright I guess okay or you

can use the primary colors the primary pros are excellent as well I just saw

bright I went and bought it I should have just used what I had but whatever

anyway each of these were like five bucks

you can also buy packets at Walmart for a dollar 47 I believe I think it comes

in 20 and you can just buy each color separately however you would like okay

so each side has nine squares and there are five sides so that's going to be 45

squares and I have about six colors that I'm going to use so if I divide that

into 45 that's about 7.5 which there isn't such thing as seven point five

squares so I'm going to make it eight so I'm going to be making or cutting eight

squares of each color per cubic Rubik's Cube oh my gosh I keep saying Cuba's

rubrics for each Rubik's Cube okay so let's get to cutting

and here they are he cut it wasn't so bad but definitely one of those days

where I regret sending my cricket back so I'm definitely getting another one

this weekend um I'm gonna just order it from Michaels instead of ordering it

online because that was a nightmare for me anyway some of the Rubik's cubes have

five colors and some of them have six colors according to the images online I

decided to use six colors because I love the colors and one of those colors must

definitely be white now I'm going to start gluing these stock paper squares

with my pouch and a foam brush and I'm going to start in the middle all right

this is not going to stay exactly this size I'm going to actually cut it a

little bit at the ends on both ends but I made one inch little square so you can

just use a ruler I'm just crazy and I like to stuff like that all squares are

going to be one inch apart so I am going to leave this here this is one inch I

got to make sure that I centered this and if they stayed in a half so each

side right here should be four and a quarter

I'm going to leave my ruler up there

all right so now I have to cut these sides and guess what I found I am so

happy it is not quite an inch it's a little off like literally like one

little line off okay so that's not bad so what I'm going to do is I am going to

place it on these sides and then I'm going to cut now I'm going to go ahead

and assemble them together so here I have my five boards there's going to be

four around and one on top okay so what I ended up doing actually was making

four with the squares and one with just plain black I didn't put any squares on

it because this is going to go towards the back towards the backdrop and you're

not gonna be able to see that the truth is I got lazy so and it's actually a lot

of work it's very easy but it's a lot of work it's tedious work

so it's going to be a total of 36 squares instead of 45 all right

so totally up to you if you want to put squares on the last one I just got lazy

guys I have a lot to do alright so let's start gluing

now I'm going to use black paint marker to cover up the white spots around the

foam you can also use acrylic black paint but just be careful that it

doesn't drip on your squares here so I'm just gonna go ahead and use this now I'm

going to move on to my large cube and I actually painted prior to gluing it and

I thought it was much quicker and easier to do it this way so you can try it this

way or you can wait till after okay guys this is M design my Rubik's cubes props

I am NOT going to lie there are tedious work but it is absolutely worth it this

is going to look amazing next to a backdrop or just us decor next to a

desert table or a gift table they are absolutely fun and it takes me

back to the good old days love it I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did

please make sure to give me a thumbs up and if you have this to spread yet make

sure to do so right here right now also leave me a comment and let me know what

you thought of my giant Rubik's cubes and leave me a comment anyway because

you know I love to chitchat with you guys all the time and make sure you

share share share sharing is caring if you know of a friend or family member

that's going to have an 80s or 90s party coming up so make sure to share with

them at the end of this video alright guys

Was Jesus Christ the LAST PROPHET? - Duration: 3:51.

In 1842, Joseph Smith, the first prophet and president of the Church of Jesus

Christ of Latter-day Saints wrote down 13 of the religions fundamental beliefs.

Number 9 on the list says this, "We believe all that God has revealed, all

that he does now reveal and we believe that he will yet reveal many great and

important things pertaining to the kingdom of God." What does that mean? Let's

talk about it after the intro video.

In summary, as exemplified throughout the history of the world, we believe in

continuing revelation. Prophets have revealed God's will to mankind since the

beginning of time. There have been periods of time when the people reject

the prophets and that help is temporarily lost but when the people are

prepared, God always reaches out to his children again through prophets and I'm

not just talking about people with the gift of prophecy, I'm talking about fully

authorized servants of God like Abraham, Moses, and Peter. We believe God has

revealed truth to us in the past and you can read all about it in the Holy Bible

and the Book of Mormon. Additionally, we believe God is still

revealing truth, guidance, and counsel to us today. You get a taste of that at

least every six months at General Conference. We also believe that there's

plenty of stuff we don't know yet that God may reveal in the future which is a

pretty exciting concept. Some faiths believe revelation and prophetic

guidance ceased after the death of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. We agree that

the martyrdom of God's authorized servants at this time and deviation from Christ's

original teachings did eventually mark a period of apostasy for the ancient

church but once the world was prepared again we believe God again called

prophets and will continue to do so until Christ Himself returns. Some faiths

cite Hebrews chapter one to show that the Bible teaches there would be no more

prophets after Christ. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners, spake in

times past unto the Father by the prophets hath in these last days spoken

unto us by his son whom he has appointed heir of all things by whom also he made

the world's." We believe this is just Paul expressing how blessed the people of

that era were to have been taught by Christ himself. He's essentially saying

"Man, those ancient prophets were great but this Jesus guy, he's the son of God."

We don't believe he's saying, "Oh, by the way, there will never be another prophet."

In fact, the Bible even mentions prophets, some by name who existed or would exist

after Christ. But different religions can interpret scripture in different ways,

we're all just trying our best here. As for us, we believe the Bible clearly

outlines God's prophetic pattern and we believe that pattern continues today but

the principle of Revelation is not exclusive to prophets and it's not

exclusive to Latter-day Saints. You can receive revelation through the Holy

Ghost for yourself, for your own life. Mothers and fathers can receive

revelation for their families. That said, revelation is not an exact science. It

comes in many forms and for a variety of reasons. In fact, you've probably already

experienced revelation to some degree. For example, have you ever been reading

the scriptures and something just clicks in your head and you're like, "Of course,

that makes so much sense!" That's probably revelation or maybe one

day you get this feeling that you really need to reach out to a friend and you

don't know why but you do it and it turns out that you were an answer to

that friend's prayers. That's probably not a coincidence. God is trying to

communicate to us through his spirit and through his prophets. If you want to know

more about what Latter-day Saints believe God has revealed to prophets

both ancient and modern, go ahead and check out the article links in the

description and keep an eye out for our next video coming out soon.

Bibiana Julian Defends Calling Out Peter Kraus For Hiding Their Fling: 'Why Are You Lying?' - News - Duration: 5:14.

Bibiana Julian of 'The Bachelor' fame won't let Peter Kraus lie about what went down between them

Read EXCLUSIVE details inside.    When The Bachelor franchise star Bibiana Julian, 31, called out Peter Kraus, 33, on Twitter, it shook up Bachelor Nation a little bit! Peter had finished second on 33-year-old lawyer Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette, and he was thought to be the next Bachelor before 37-year-old Arie Luyendyck Jr

took the coveted role. He was the franchise's golden boy, but Bibiana was not having it when he played down their former fling in a new interview, so she decided to speak up for herself

We chatted with her and other former contestant Seinne Flemming, 28, EXCLUSIVELY at the Nokia Darlings and Devices event in New York City

The two Bachelor faves told us brand new details about their post-show involvement with other former cast-members

On Jan. 25, three days after Peter's interview with the Chicago Tribune, in which he said they didn't date and "met at a charity event," Bibiana spoke her truth on Twitter in response

She had previously revealed on the Almost Famous podcast that she and Peter connected after she got back from Bachelor in Paradise

Peter seriously downplayed whatever went down, and Bibiana didn't like the misinformation out there

So she did something about it.  "I just woke up on the other side of the bed, where it's just like, today I'm going to give the world some tea," Bibiana EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife

But she didn't feel all too great about it afterwards. "Once I did that, I had a lot of anxiety

I just spilled it to the world. What frustrated me the most is a lot of people put up this fake persona and they're so worried about what people think, that they become so paranoid that they shift reality, and they start lying

I understand you want to be private and you want to protect certain parts of your life, but why are you lying?" Bibiana confirmed her and Peter "weren't ever anything serious at all," but she stood up for her right to have a casual fling if she wanted to – and she doesn't apologize for that

But luckily for Bibiana, after Peter stayed with her for four days during one of Miami's hottest events, Art Basel, she found love with someone else! She met her current boyfriend through mutual friends, and the two have enjoyed dates like visiting the Perez Art Museum in Miami

"I actually put up a cute kiss photo when I finally announced, like, 'Okay, I'm in love,' but I haven't tagged him because he's private," Bibiana shared

Seinne has also moved on since appearing on the ABC show last year. Her first date with her current boyfriend Doug Fillmore was on Super Bowl Sunday in 2018! Even though she made it pretty far on The Bachelor – week seven to be exact – it's completely water under the bridge for Seinne and Arie at this point

"[Arie and Lauren] came out [to LA, where Seinne lives] together, and I got dinner with the two of them," Seinne said

"My boyfriend was out of town that weekend. It was so funny, cause we kind of like caught up on everything

"  "And I had done bottomless mimosas with friends earlier in the day," she continued

"I felt very comfortable and relaxed. For me, I never said I loved [Arie], I didn't sleep with him, so it wasn't awkward for me [being with Arie and Lauren]

I had already moved on to a new relationship, so I didn't feel any sort of awkwardness at all

" Seinne and her boyfriend went on to attend Lauren and Arie's wedding on Jan. 12, 2019 in Hawaii!  But not everyone from Arie's season would've been able to go to the tropical nuptials – like Kendall Long, 27, for instance, who made it to the top three on Arie's season

"For some people, it is awkward," Seinne said. "You know, Kendall wasn't at the wedding even though Lauren really likes Kendall

Kendall went a little further in the process, and maybe certain things happened in Fantasy Suites

So maybe it's more awkward when you've gone further with that person."  Even though Seinne turned down her Bachelor in Paradise offer, and Bibiana tried her hand at Paradise and The Bachelor: Winter Games, both women have seemed to be blissfully in love in their respective relationships

It all works out! And as for what's next for the brunette beauties? Bibiana would love to maybe launch a skincare brand, and Seinne isn't totally closed off to another reality show in the future – she's a big fan of the Housewives and Vanderpump Rules! We can't wait to see what's next for these ladies!

I need a nice Camper Like That Trucker Rudi 01-30-19 Vlog#1669 - Duration: 9:25.

hey good morning good morning ladies and gentlemen welcome welcome to the show we

have been going for a good while already for about three hours I would say give

or take and we are now already in the United States of America or actually in

Manasota right now and the Sun is just risen over here to the left of us so I

figured out time to turn on them cameras isn't it

yeah so far today we haven't had any issues so we are good to go today so

that is nice I like that

oh we got 954 miles to go yet till we get to her customer but

that's just how it goes right

just how it goes

anyways I figured I would just say hi and good morning to you guys appreciate

you guys tuning in today I'm not sure exactly how far I'll be going till I

make me a little bit of a pit stop I'm sort of kind of thinking about maybe

contacting my buddy Scott and Duluth there and

maybe meet up with him and go for breakfast or something like that but

we'll see maybe I will contact him yet and see if he wants to go and maybe have

a coffee so I got to take my half an hour break somewhere anyways right may

as well do it over there and it's been a good while since I met up with him so

we'll see we'll see maybe I'll give him a call here in the Bismil find out if

he's got time today jazz God going through superior and the

lutes and all of that up here 53 I contacted Scottie earlier and

unfortunately he's got to go and take his neighbor's lady to to the doctor so

he had already promised that he had already promised that before I guess he

knew that I was coming through town and so because of that we weren't able to

meet up yeah what a bummer oh well that's okay I'll just continue

on cruising along and go down the road a little bit yeah turn I'll make us a pit

stop somewhere further down the road I guess that's all I can say all I can

really do too well I guess I could have made me a pit stop over there but it's

always more fun meeting up with somebody and

and going in and maybe have breakfast or coffee or something

instead of just going in by yourself right

and I know there's always a little bit of a hill to climb up here

but anyways I think I'm gonna go down here probably about a half an hour I

know there's a trucks up there so I'm gonna have to

take my half an hour break there because well I'm down to an hour and 50 minutes

before I must take it so I guess I'll have to do it we'll have to do it

anyways so we'll see what happens maybe we'll go in and that breakfast there or

maybe not maybe we'll just warm something up in the truck maybe I won't

troll you maybe I will who knows right I mean while that's

hammer down and get on down the road I don't know what's going on with my cock

GoPro today it keeps turning itself off I don't get it anyways I meant to say is

we parked here I don't know exactly where we what this location is called or

what the town or city is I don't generally stop and you're too often that

once in a while I do but rarely very rarely do I ever park in here

so I don't know exactly what the tone is but whatever it doesn't really matter I

know about 45 minutes outside is superior that's all we know right on

your ass 53 on highway 53 that's right let me take that up to the 94 and

continue with our journey but at least we got a nice nice sunny day today I am

really really enjoying today's day see a couple of four-wheelers coming so I know

we gotta climb a pretty steep hill as soon as I get onto this road salt

I don't want to slow them down either right

here we go let's get back on the road hammer down and put our full reason

tomorrow all the four-wheelers will know where all the other trucks are people

that come behind me that I'm a slow moving vehicle right

I know it's pretty bright out there today especially with the fresh nice

white snowing and then you got that right super bright sunshine

man that makes things really super bright so I gotta wear my sunshades

today that's for sure

but anyhow that's continued on cruising along here in there

show you today I am almost done for today guys I really am I'm actually just

passing Portage la Prairie I mean Portage la Prairie I always want

to say Portage la Prairie it's cordage Wisconsin that I am passing

right now and so I am I was originally thinking about stopping over here but I

said you know what there is a love it's only a couple miles further down the

road it's only 600 miles and I said you know what I'm just gonna go down there

to the logs instead and then I'm gonna go fuel up over there because I like

fueling up the loves right so why not go over there fuel up there and be good

right at least then I'll have a full tank of fuel and I won't have shouldn't

have to worry about freezing up or anything like that right cause I'll be

I'll be putting in some some kerosene into it because I made sure this time I

grab me some because it's so cold right and because they only have number-two

diesel here I'm gonna make sure that I put some kerosene into it I know I'll be

driving into warmer weather tomorrow it's not going to be crazy cold tomorrow

but you gotta think about tonight right that's always the main thing you got all

always think about that yeah there's a nice little river right here coming up

here too we'll be going over it here in a minute

would kind of look nice Center take maybe take some pictures of it but yeah

it's another four miles to get to the truck stop so I don't think I'll be able

to fly all the way up here with the drone anyways that's a long distance

right four miles would be kind of pushing it hey I can go about three

maybe three and a half miles but four miles is pushing it and that's just to

get here right and then I don't have no time to fly around right but it's too

cold to fly now anyways I wouldn't even want to dare go out there and try and

fly what I could do if I really wanted to in summer I could probably pull over

into this rest area right here coming up that would only be about a mile

definitely doable no problem there right putting up let's go down over there to

the truck stop and get some go-go juice and call it a day let's

alright guys we are done for today I know I I didn't have a great date today

and I know I've been saying that quite a bit lately but it's true you know I

don't know I've been kind of stressed out over the last couple of weeks got a

few things going on in our life so anyways I can't really talk about those

things today as of yet but anyways we made it down to the loves and we see

here deke rolled I can't even say this name and it's a just past Portage

Wisconsin soul and we had us a good night's sleep it's actually the next

morning knowing I figured out go ahead and close off my show with and start a

new one so anyways with that being said I appreciate you guys watching and we'll

see you guys back here tomorrow have a great day everybody

油杯套是做什麼用的? What is brake reservoir cover for? | EN Subtitle (預購油杯套抽安全帽) - Duration: 4:22.

Hello everyone, this is 13N.

Today I want to briefly talk about why you need brake reservoir cover

when you see people riding their motorcycles

you often find a reservoir cover or sock covering the brake reservoirs

if your clutch is hydraulic, some people put a cover over it too

most people would tell you that the cover

is to prevent UV rays

from damaging the plastic bits

and discoloring them

But in fact

In fact, the real use is not to prevent sun damage

if you look closely at GP race or other races

You will find that they also have the cover on

Of course, those bikes are not exposed under the sun for a long period of time

so why the cover?

mainly because the material of reservoir cover

help prevent brake fluid from spilling out

if the reservoir is sealed tight, why would it spill?

well, at a race event

under very aggressive braking condition

it's possible to have your brake fluid

reach the boiling point

When it bubbles up, excessive pressure

might cause the reservoir to crack open and spill

this is unlikely to happen on the street

So if you are not as aggressive as you are on the track

to the point that your brake fluid is boiling

then the cover is mainly an aesthetic

Plus, as others say, protection from uv exposure

but that'd take a long time of course

possibly parked outside under the sun for a long time

to have discoloration

or even affect the fluid. The odds are small though

well, if at any point of installation or adding fluid

that the reservoir isn't sealed properly

then the cover would help

with fluid from seeping out or spilling

if it leaks,

it actually damages the paint finish of your parts

if you want a reservoir cover or need a cover

I've got a good news for you

13N cover pre-order is now open!

after the previous trial sale and months of usage

I adjusted the cover the size

because my other bike, Daytona

the reservoir cup is actually a little smaller.

So after I resize it, the cover is now suitable for either bike

doesn't matter if it's a little bigger or smaller

Whether it is the size of my reservoir like Street Triple or Daytona

I can cover it no problem.

you can preorder on my website or from shopee.tw

My website is

Shopee is my shopee shop. (shopee.tw/moto13n)

I will put them on the video as well

also in my description

Size, as I just said, is one size fits all

I've made it a little tighter so it'll fit

if you have reservoir cup for the clutch side

or use small reservoir like the one found in rear brake

then my cover will be too lose. this is mainly for the front reservoir

For this preorder, I've got a couple notes for you guys

First of all, this is a pre-order,

cover production will only start after the deadline

it'll take about a month to ship

the production is slower than sticker

please wait patiently

2nd, when I ship this

because during last sticker shipment

some buyer's family members thought the sticker mail was junk mail

and threw them away

I am hoping that this time

the cover is thicker in the mail

that it won't be mistaken as junk mail anymore

should be kept safe this time

If you live in a rented house or possibly moving soon

I suggest you can actually

mail it to your nearby post office and have them hold the mail for you

(please see detail on your local post office website)

then you can go pick it up at the post office

as for payment, riders in Taiwan can transfer via Shopee's given bank account

or credit card payment

Of course, my website allows credit card and paypal payment

If you are in China, you may have to use

UnionPay tied to paypal

Or use UnionPay directly

Credit cards must of course support foreign transaction

All in all, you can now preorder the cover!

Only a single color and single size. it's stretchy so it should fit most cups

I made it a little smaller so it'll fit even better

For detailed information, please go to my website 13N.TV/SHOP

Or go to my shopee store

that's all. Thanks folks
