Youtube daily report w Feb 7 2019

American supercarriers are the face of U.S Navy and have enabled powered projection far

off from the U.S homeland.

Nimitz-class carriers which form the backbone of U.S carrier fleet, as well as the new Ford

class carriers, are the biggest warships to roam the oceans displacing around 100,000

tons of water.

The U.S is the only nation to operate so many supercarriers since they are very costly to

build and operate.

American supercarriers are not only an important military platform but are home to thousands

of sailors, making them a vital asset for the nation.

In this video Defense Updates analyses why American Supercarrier are almost unsinkable?

Let's get started.

China & Russia, America main rivals don't have resources to build so many supercarriers.

So, there are investing in asymmetric capabilities to neutralize American supercarriers.

Anti Surface warfare has come a long way in the last decade with the development of supersonic

& hypersonic anti-ship missiles.

Supersonic missiles like Indo-Russian Brahmos, Hypersonic cruise missile like Kinzhal & Chinese

Anti Ship ballistic missile like DF-21d pose a genuine challenge to the supercarriers.

Last year even a direct verbal threat against American supercarrier was directed from China.

On December 20, a high-profile Chinese military commentator, Rear Admiral Lou Yuan during

his speech in 2018 Military Industry List summit told that disputes over the ownership

of the East and South China Seas could be resolved by sinking two US supercarriers.

As reported by Taiwan's Central News Agency, he stated that China's latest crop of anti-ship

ballistic and cruise missiles was capable of sinking American supercarriers and fear

of casualty will frighten America.

He said that the loss of one super carrier would cost the US the lives of 5000 service

men and women.

Sinking two would double that toll.

Admiral Lou added, "What the United States fears the most is taking casualties.

We'll see how frightened America is".

When U.S Navy started to envision the Ford class it wanted to have data that could provide

the real-life impact of weapons attack on a supercarrier.

Till then supercarriers were designed mainly with simulated data based on the sinking of

older, smaller aircraft carriers and surface combatants.

But obviously, they were no match to the structure & design aspects of a supercarrier.

The issue was that no American supercarrier has been sunk in recent time and we have to

back to World War II for this when Japan sank U.S carriers.

After due deliberation to mitigate this issue, the US Navy decided to use USS America (CV-66)

as a testbed instead of scraping it.

USS America was a Kitty Hawk-class aircraft carrier and splayed more than 80,000 tons

when fully loaded.

It was built by Newport News Shipbuilding and commissioned on 23 January 1965.

On April 19th, 2005, USS America was towed to an undisclosed location off the Virginia

coast.

Then it was attacked with various types of weapons that resulted in numerous explosions

above and below the waterline.

But USS America didn't sink even after the repeated onslaught of 4 weeks.

Finally, after the failed attempt to sink it, the supercarrier was scuttled and on May

14th, 2005 it finally went down.

The main reason attributed to this is that the supercarriers are designed to have hundreds

of watertight compartments.

This prevents water flow into other portions of the carrier and stops the vessel from going

down.

It also must be noted that American supercarriers have very strong kevlar armor protection in

sensitive parts and hence are hard to penetrate.

The results of the exercise remain classified.

Also, there is very few pictures or videos of this event in the public domain to keep

things under wraps.

But it clearly understood that American supercarriers can absorb a lot of beating and can stay afloat

even when it has sustained heavy damage.

It must be noted that in a battle scenario the supercarriers won't be in this kind

of helpless position.

Though these carriers are massive, powered by their nuclear reactors they can move at

35 miles or 56 km per hour.

This means they are fast enough to outrun modern submarines as well as many types of

destroyers & cruisers.

An in open ocean a carrier is not easy to detect or track.

In 30 minutes after a sighting by an opponent, the area within which a carrier might be operating

will expand to 900 square miles and this will increase to around 4,000 square miles after

60 minutes.

Also, a supercarrier in battle will not be defenseless like in the test.

Nimitz as well Ford class carriers have powerful sensors for 360 coverage of the space around

them as well as have a host of defensive weapons to neutralize different types of threats.

This includes 16–24 RIM-7 Sea Sparrow missiles and 3-4 Phalanx Close-in Weapon System.

Also, the carrier air wing of 60+ aircraft includes a squadron of early-warning radar

planes.

These fly well ahead of the aircraft carrier and keep scanning vast areas for potential

perils.

The aircraft carrier also has helicopters equipped with anti-submarine, anti-surface,

and counter-mine warfare weapons.

Notably, American carriers do not operate alone but are deployed as part of a "carrier

strike group".

The carrier strike group consists of multiple Ticonderoga-class cruiser and Arleigh Burke-class,

as well as Virginia class attack submarines.

These vessels can intercept incoming missiles & torpedoes and in case of eventuality also

act as a shield for the supercarrier by coming in between missiles or torpedoes and the supercarriers.

The Virginia class submarines can defeat enemy submarines as well as clear sea mines.

Viewers must note that Nimitz class is far more advanced than Kitty Hawk-class and Ford

class has been designed considering the lessons learned from the exercise.

Keeping in view all the aspects, it can be stated that American supercarriers are a very

hard nut to crack and are almost unsinkable.

They could probably be only taken out with nukes.

RESIDENT EVIL 1.5 - A Minha Vida em Bits - Duration: 11:41.

Hey .. come down from there! Stop with the monkey business! We have to make a video.

Ohhh ... he's dead.

Resident Evil! Who has not heard this name? By far the most profitable gaming series

of CAPCOM since 1996 that the events of Racoon City haunt the bravest players,

in this series that defined the genre Survival horror.

And one of the most beloved entries by fans of the franchise, is the sequel to the first game, Resident

Evil 2. So adored, that led to CAPCOM relaunch the game this year, redone with the dizzying

RE engine.

But what if I told you that there is a resident evil 2 very different from the one we all know

and we love it? Well, that's exactly what I'm going to tell you today, but before you start

Today's video is brought to you by: Frankcasino

ad break Playing is forbidden to minors. Please play responsibly.

With the recent release of Resident's remake Evil 2, I thought there was no better time

to talk about this. It is one of the greatest mysteries in the history

of video games, to the point of more than 20 years then there are still people interested

and focused on finding out more about this beta of the game, lovingly dubbed Resident

Evil 1.5, and why CAPCOM has decided abandon it and redo the game from scratch.

Ironically or not, this is the 2nd time I'm doing a video on this topic,

since the original was lost when the my SSD died at the end of last month.

Intro: MY LIFE ... IN BITS!

As soon as Resident Evil was released, CAPCOM realized they had a successful IP in their hands,

and promptly began working in a sequel, which would have been scheduled for 1997, and

it seemed that the work in the sequel was going along fine, with the first images of the

game to be released only a few months after the 1st game debuted.

However, as the release date began to approach, team members

something was not well, despite the fact that the game was almost complete.

In an interview, the producer of the game, Shinji Mikami, said that the problem was not with

a specific area of the game, as these worked well, but as a whole, the game

did not reach the heels of his predecessor, which led to the scrapping, even though it was already

more than 70% complete. What is interesting is that despite having

discarded this version to start working on the Resident Evil 2 that we all know, the

CAPCOM continued to use it in promotional campaigns, so when January 21st

of 1998 arrived, and the fans received a game different from that which had been announced

over the last year, were naturally confused, and some curious.

Hideki Kamiya, said that this happened because Resident Evil 2 was seen as one of the great

CAPCOM releases, and they did not want to leave that the enthusiasm of the fans dwindled.

All these factors, caused Resident Evil 1.5 to gain a legendary status in

the community, because after seeing so many images, and knowing that CAPCOM had almost completed it,

groups of fans determined to get this version of the game began to appear.

The original concept shares many similarities with the one we eventually received, and the

bigger differences were the characters, and some scenarios and game mechanics.

Resident Evil 1.5 still tells the story of Leon S. Kennedy, an RPD cop

but his co-star would be a new character, Elza Walker, a

19-year-old student and enthusiast for motorcycles, that crashed in the RPD after being attacked.

Contrary to what happens in the final game, the campaigns of both would be separated, being

linked only by some characters and events. Leon, would be accompanied by Marvin Branagh,

which would have a much more important role, and Ada Wong, who in this version would be a scientist

of Umbrella. Elza would be accompanied by John, a citizen

of Racoon, whose model would later be reused for Robert Kendo, the owner of the gun shop,

and Roy, a police officer infected by the virus. Both would eventually find Sherry and

William Birkin, whom, as in the final version, is infected by the G-virus and in search of

his daughter, although in version 1.5 his mutated form is a little different.

After leaving the police station, they would have to pass through the sewers and an abandoned factory,

before they reached the secret Umbrella lab, fighting with all kinds of monsters

along the way, including some that we have not to see in the final version.

The team also tried to introduce new ideas, such as reducing the polygons used to

render the zombies, allowing more enemies to appear at the same time,

mutations in real time, and even damage visible in the characters and scenarios, to

In addition, it was also possible to do more changes of clothes and equipment during the game,

obtaining some advantages such as inventory expanded, or better protection against attacks.

However, as the release date approaches, some team members felt that the game

was not as attractive as the 1st, and Noboru Sugimura, a renowned writer and screenwriter

and fan of the first game, was called to give the your opinion.

The verdict? Begin again, and volunteered to help write the story. The game

was postponed to 1998, and CAPCOM started implement the changes that make the

game in what we know today to begin with, the game would begin on the streets of Racoon, and the

player would have to find the way to the Station, highlighting the danger of the exterior,

and creating the expectation of safety inside of the RPD.

The RPD station was completely redesigned, adopting a more rustic architectural aspect

of Europe, under the guise of being an old restored museum.

And of course, the biggest and most notable difference, Elza Walker was transformed into Claire Redfield,

Chris's sister, thus creating a connection with the previous title.

Arriving the launch day, the game was a success, and despite being considered by

many the best of the franchise, some could not to fail to notice the differences between this

version of the game, and the one that had been shown for more than 1 year, and so began a

insatiable quest for what Resident Evil 2 It could have been.

Due to Shinji Mikami's comments, forums dedicated to the game were filled with posts

and speculation about the existence of about 1 and 4 copies of RE 1.5 outside

Capcom. And for years thousands of fans dedicated to finding these alleged copies,

in the hope of trying them first hand, without even being certain of its existence ...

However, all this changed when in 2012 Team IGAS admitted having purchased from a collector

an alpha version of the game, also known with the 40% build, and announced

they would try to restore it so that everyone could experience it. Yet,

due to some type of internal conflict, versions of the game began to appear on

auctions, and to avoid greater evils, Team IGAS decided to launch the following year

the untouched original, also known as Vanilla Build, and its own version, nicknamed

Magic Zombie Door, which already had some repairs, such as translated text,

replacement of unfinished models by their official game doubles, as well as the

code finishing and incomplete rooms, using promotional photos and videos as

reference. This version, although unfinished, is very

more playable than Vanilla Build, where only at the beginning of the game is over, and any

advance beyond the squadron lobby, requires the use of the debug menu, since

most rooms are not interconnected, or even finished.

It's unbelievable as an unfinished game with more than 20 years still receives so much attention,

to the point that a few months ago I left a patch for MZD version, and Capcom looks like

be attentive, once it is possible to Claire to use the Elza Walker fact, via DLC, of course

'Cause Capcom, but it's still a good wink at the fans of this version,

that although he never left, never disappeared.

Mia Couto – O mistério dos sonhos e a necessidade de poesia - Duration: 1:37.

Poetry is a language that translates not exactly thoughts, but dreams. And then…

we are probably much more alike, much closer,

because we all dream the same way. I think that…

The aborigines in Australia, the Amazon Indians,

nuclear engineers from Romania and etc.

have all the same fears, the same dreams,

and those are really ancient stuff. We have just one door leading to it,

this door is poetry. For us, this dream universe

is really weird, we can't control it.

And so there's a kind of arrogant attitude, right?

We can't conceive anything that can't be controlled.

We have to dominate, we have to establish a relationship of control.

But not in dreams… We can't. You can control sleep,

but you can't control dreams. And so it eludes us,

it has a mistery…

It evokes all those kind of things, those inquietudes…

It's the land of Gods, that's where Gods come to visit us.

It's like a way the universe has to look at us,

and life preaches to us this way, through dreams…

There's a whole possible territory. Dreams are an infinite territory.

NIGERIAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS: Who Would You Vote For? | Buhari VS Atiku - Duration: 11:02.

Hello and welcome to Ayo and Ebun Entertainment.

Today, we would be talking about the coming elections. We would be asking Nigerians if they would vote on 16th February,2019.

The elections are close by. So, we would be asking Nigerians who they would vote for.

It's a hot topic.

It is the season of elections in Africa.

Senegal would be having it's election on 24th February.

We have Tunisian Elections coming up...

Also Benin Elections...

Botswana, Madagascar and lots more

A lot of African countries would be having their presidential elections this year.

So guys, let's know what country you are from and would you be voting this year?

If yes, who would you be voting for and why?

-- Hello, how are you? -- I am fine.

I'll be asking you a quick question. Are you ready?

Ok, yes.

Would you be voting in the upcoming elections?

Yes, definitely.

So, who would you be voting for?

Are you referring to the voting at state level or country level?

I'm referring to the country level.

I wouldn't lie to you. At the moment, I am not voting for APC or PDP.

But I am not really sure of whom I would vote for.

It would definitely not be APC or PDP.

Why?

It is the same people recycling themselves. There is nothing new.

If we are not voting for APC, then let us move forward and not go backwards by voting for PDP.

That is more logical.

I'll be voting for Muhammed Buhari.

You have made up your mind?

Yes. I would vote for Buhari.

Why would you be voting for Buhari?

I have reviewed his policies and initiatives while he was serving his first term.

And his policies are awesome.

A lot of people judged him based on his cash laws. People felt that he made things harder.

But he did a lot of good things.

Can you give some examples?

I work in a bank and I work with figures.

Looking at the economic indices, I think he did fairly well.

Let's forget about the Cash Law he did. Presently, everyone wants to vote for Atiku.

And they want us to share the money. But this is not what I want.

I want an economy that is growing.

Although he didn't really fight corruption, but according to economic indices, he did well.

This is the reason why I would vote for Muhammed Buhari.

Would you be voting?

No. Because I do not have a Personal Voters Card (PVC).

Why don't you have your voter's card?

Because I have not had time to get it.

Would you be voting?

Of course, I would be voting.

And you?

I would be voting but I am not so certain yet.

That is two contradicting sentences.

You said you would vote but it's still not certain.

Let me explain myself.

Firstly, I registered outside Lagos State and then I had to transfer it to Lagos State.

But unfortunately, my voter's card was transferred to a different location instead of the location I requested for?

Instead of them sending it to Alimoso, it was sent to Ajiromi Ifelodun which is in Ojo Road and it is very far away.

So for me to vote, I have to travel all the way to Ojo Road and I do not know anyone there.

I have to sleep there overnight so that I can vote the next day.

So, this is my reason.

You do not want to risk doing that?

It is not like I don't want to take a risk, but for now, I have still not decided.

You said you would be voting. So, who would you be voting for.

This question is personal for me.

But I would definitely not be voting for Atiku or Buhari.

I cannot waste my votes for those old.....

I'm sorry for saying a bad word.

But they are old ...

Let them give a chance for young people to rule this country.

They have no new ideas.

For example, Atiku was formally the Vice President. At that time,he was selling all government properties to individuals.

He was doing this alongside with a former President called Obansajo.

What good example is he showing?

If he comes in as President, he would sell Nigeria.

That is just one reason.

TOKYO BUCKET LIST: 17 MUST SEE and CHEAP Things to Do - Duration: 14:19.

We are here in Shinjuku, which is famous for--What was that?

Oh my god!

Run!

I just wanted to meet Godzilla.

There he is!

Okay, okay wait a second.

Let me explain.

Ever since I was young, I have been obsessed with the idea of visiting Tokyo.

So much so that over the years I started writing a book sized list of all the things that I

absolutely had to see there.

This year Emma and I finally made the trip and we had one week to make the list a reality.

So meeting Godzilla on top of Hotel Gracery.

That's one big tick.

My name is Ryan and this is my Tokyo bucket list.

Now, before we get onto the weirder stuff let's cover some Tokyo essentials.

3 things that you absolutely have to see on a first time visit.

First up, walk the Shibuya Crossing.

The busiest interchange in the world.

Your 2 best options for free views of the Shibuya crossing are either the Starbucks.

Or from Shibuya station.

Although obviously you do have to buy a drink in Starbucks to enjoy that free view.

We've done this so many times now it's too much fun!

Also remember to say hello to Hachiko the dog whilst you are passing through.

I booped him!

The next thing that we had to do was climb the Tokyo Skytree and get the best view over

the city.

On a clear day you can even see Mount Fuji on the horizon.

The third must see is Senso-ji.

The oldest temple in Tokyo to get your first taste of the spiritual side of Japan.

Okay, so the next thing we're about to do is big.

Hidden within the streets of Akihibara is somewhere very special.

Real life Mario kart!

There was only ever one choice.

Definitely one of the more expensive things to do in Tokyo but oh man it is so worth it.

That might have been the best thing I've ever done.

I'd always heard that Japan is crazy expensive.

But when it comes to eating sushi from a conveyor belt restaurant, a big thing on my bucket

list, it really doesn't have to be pricy.

If you're looking for seriously budget conveyor belt restaurants in Tokyo, your 2 best options

are Genki sushi and Gansosushu.

Now Genki Sushi is where you have a touch screen in front of you and whatever you order

comes rushing to you on a conveyor belt, it's very very cool.

Or there's Gansosushi which is a more traditional style conveyor belt where the chefs just prepare

things, they put it on the conveyor belt and you pick it off.

See the problem with all of this amazing food going past you is that I will eat it all.

I'll eat all of it.

The plates are going to stack up.

You can order things if you want to but if you really want to do that then Genki Sushi

is your best option.

There's so many options.

So that meal which was 5 plates of sushi each came to £9.30 in total so Japan doesn't have

to be expensive.

If Sushi isn't really your thing, you can also find some incredibly cheap tempura and

ramen restaurants.

This meal cost a grand total of £4.

So cheap food is easy to find, but what about that crazy Tokyo nightlife?

Luckily I had heard about a very special type of bar.

So last night we went to check out one of the 300 yen bars.

Which as the name suggests has a menu full of drinks and food that all costs 300 yen

each.

Which is about £2.50.

See some things can be really expensive in Japan but some things don't have to be.

I mean you can get over charged for food, you can pay a lot for drinks but if you do

some research it really doesn't have to be that way.

Next on my list is some classically Japanese budget accommodation.

You absolutely have to stay in a capsule hotel.

The Nine Hours chain has some really cool futuristic capsules in locations all over

the city.

They are a lot bigger than you think.

When you are inside the capsule there is plenty of space to move about.

The changing areas and the lockers and the showers are all really really nice, immaculately

clean.

What did you think Emma?

Great, great night sleep, very comfortable and the best thing is that I didn't have to

sleep next to you!

Burned.

The biggest sport in Japan is not sumo, it's not football, it's actually baseball.

So I've always wanted to see a game here.

And tonight we're going to see the Tokyo Yakult Swallows verses the Hiroshima Carps.

Big game!

And yes, they are named after the delicious probiotic drink.

One of the great things about Japanese baseball games is that you can bring in your own food

and drink, including alcohol.

Which gate are we at?

5.

They have these girls running up and down with kegs on their backs serving beer to people

in the crowd.

They look like ghostbusters.

They all wear different coloured outfits which represent different breweries from around

Japan.

So that's quite cool.

It's t-shirt gun time!

Love a good sponsor.

Go Yakult!

So when the Swallows are doing well, all the fans get out these tiny umbrellas and they

start throwing them up and down like this.

It's brilliant!

The umbrellas dont come out a lot because the Swallows aren't that great.

But such a good experience, I'd recommend it to anyone even if you're not a sports fan,

not a baseball fan come here because it's so much fun.

From one Japanese obsession to another.

Japan has the highest density of vending machines in the world, with approximately 1 vending

machine per 23 people.

You can find classic style one and some even more modern ones too.

Selling everything from soft drinks to ice cream, from hot drinks to cigarettes.

So I've heard that there's vending machines in Japan that sell self freezing coke and

I think I've found one so let's give it a go.

So if you take a sip, close the lid and turn it upside down it should instantly turn into

a coke slush.

Is it just a cold coke?

This very very sad.

Yes!

When you come to Tokyo you absolutely have to visit an arcade, there are literally hundreds

of them all over the city.

This place just outside Ikebukuro station is 5 floors of gaming.

The first two floors are crane machines.

Oh man!

The next floor is music and dance games.

You would not believe the noise in here, it's insane!

Next we have straight up video games like Final Fantasy, even FIFA.

The next level is satellite games so this is online gaming.

If you're putting in a long shift you can even order food right to your game.

The other game stations you will see are Pachinko slot machines which from what I can make out

are a kind of like pinball.

I dont know, somebody explain it to me in the comments please.

it looks amazing!

Ok so this might sound a bit weird to have on your bucket list but I've always wanted

to use a Japanese toilet.

So as you can see there's a variety of options for me to choose form here.

There's a privacy button so lets give that a go.

It plays some lovely relaxing water sounds in case you're a bit loud.

Deodoriser, oh that smells nice.

You've got the front spray there for the ladies and the rear spray so lets give that a little

go.

Oh!

To be honest that's one of the more basic options, I've had one that had a heated seat,

one that goes up and down for you.

Adjustable.

Ok, so I am about to fulfil a childhood fantasy.

We are about to go into the Pokemon Centre in Tokyo.

Pika Pika!

Caught you!

Ok I've found him, the best Pokemon there is.

It is kind of just like a Pokemon version of the Disney Store, but at least we can say

that we have been to the official Pokemon centre.

When I was at school, I had an art teacher called Mr Hunter and he ran an after school

movie club.

One week he showed us a film called Spirited Away, which is an animated film by Studio

Ghibli.

After I saw that I became completely obsessed with their films.

I watched so many of them.

And today we are going to the Ghibli Museum which is a pilgrimage for any fans of the

studio who want to learns some more about the history and see some of the original artwork.

Which is your favourite?

Definitely Totoro.

The museum is actually in a forest in Mitaka which is 15 minutes train ride from Shinjuku

so it's very easy to get to.

There's no photography or video allowed inside which I think to be honest is quite a good

thing because it adds to the whole mystery of this place because you know you dont really

know what's inside.

And it's not a museum in the sense that it's just artwork on the walls, it's very immersive

and interactive and its really like a maze as you wonder around all the different levels.

They let you explore at your own pace as well.

I think one of the main messages of this place is just a love of film and a love of the process

and it shows you that in such an interesting way.

So we're just sitting in the cafe now and they even have their own Studio Ghibli beer.

And if I'm honest, my list just went on and on and on.

We explored the streets of Harajuku.

I dont feel cool enough to be here.

Took pictures in Purikura Photo Booths.

Tasted the most amazing Japanese whisky in the tiniest bar I have ever been in.

Tokyo exceeded every expectation that I had for it.

It's a city that demands that you get onto it's energy levels and once you're there it's

a completely unforgettable experience.

And you know what I didn't even get to finish my list.

So anybody fancy a sequel?

These 10 Actions Will Develope Your Creativity - Duration: 8:42.

Hey guys, this is Andreas Varro.

And this is a list of 10 actions you can take to develop your creativity.

But before I start my list of actions you can take to become more creative, I would

like to tell a story about when I started out as a photographer, and that's almost 10

years ago.

I would say 4 or 5 years into my career I was really struggling with getting new ideas

for photography projects or for my business.

When you work in a creative field and you don't feel creative, that really sucks the energy out of you.

So I started a journey to develop my creativity, I felt that I always had to have other peoples

input or the help of others to find new creative ideas.

These are 10 actions or techniques that I used during my career to come to a point where

I feel that I have to much ideas and I don't know what to do with them.

And that's another problem :)

I will go trough this list and hope that you can find something that inspires you to make

a change.

Now the first thing you need to do is to start thinking of yourself as a creative, and this

is really important because when you do that you stop to use other peoples ideas, you start

to look into yourself, what you want to do and that way you start to practice the craft

of thinking in creative ways.

That leads into the second action that you can take and that is to practice creativity.

Every time you face a problem or you want to have a new idea for some project you are

do ing, do it yourself!

Sit down and start to think about how you will solve this problem, or what you want

to do.

Because in the beginning it's pretty hard to get these good ideas, but eventually you

will start getting a lot of ideas.

And that leads in to action number three and that is to be strategic about your creative

process.

Find a way that works for you.

Don't sit and just wait for the ideas to come, because they wont.

You need to make a space in your calender and decide that this is the time where I'm

going to think about this.

Now some of you will get ideas straight away because your that kind of personality, some

people will have to analyze stuff for longer to get this creative flow going.

Now the forth action you can take is to get into a creative mood.

There might be a place that inspires you more than other places do.

Me for example I tend to get my best ideas when I walk somewhere I haven't been before.

It's like when I do that, my brain gets into "problem solving mode" and I start to think

in new patterns.

And I often listen to music and I listen to music without vocals because I also believe

that the vocals make me focus and process what they are saying or singing in the songs.

So I use instrumental music when I'm in my creative sessions.

And the fifth action you can take is to brainstorm as many ideas as possible and write them down

on a paper, because the more ideas you get the higher the chances are that a few of these

ideas are rally high quality.

If you only brainstorm only two or three ideas, of course those ideas be really good.

But the chances are that they are not so good.

So if you have a list of like 10-15 ideas, than the chances are really high that you

will have some high quality ideas.

The sixth action you can take is not thinking about execution to early in the process.

Because what happens when you think about execution in the brainstorming process, is

that you will start seeing the problems you will run into trying to execute the ideas,

okay?

So the first thing you need is to write as many ideas as possible down on a paper.

The seventh action you can take is to be open minded about your ideas.

Don't judge them to early.

Sometimes you get crazy ideas but just write them down and move on to the next idea.

And the same goes here because if you start to judge your own ideas, or maybe think about what

other people will think of these ideas, then you will stop the creative flow.

The eight action you can take is connecting the dots.

And what I mean about that is taking your idea and finding out how you will make that

idea into a physical form and doing it in a smart way so that people will understand

the connection.

This is kind of a conceptual way of thinking.

I use when I create my images.

Say for example that you work in the programming business, you create apps.

You help businesses to streamline a process or you take something complex and you make

it simple for your customers.

This is what you want to convey.

Now how do you do that a physical form?

Lets say for example that you want to market yourself to these customers and you take a

rubrics cube and you make your own print on it.

And you print a message or you print a website address you want them to visit or maybe it's

an offer.

You put it in a box and you send it to the customer, okay?

The customer receives the rubrics cube, he or she opens the box and start to think: "What

is this?", okay?

So maybe the customer tries to solve this, they want to know what the message says, okay?

So they start to solve it and hopefully they will solve it after a while, and they will

see a message.

Maybe the message says "We help you to streamline your process" or "We help you to solve complex

problems, so you don't have to do it", okay?

So now you have kind of conceptualized the idea into a physical form.

Now this can be done in many ways, this is just a simple example.

And the ninth step you can take is to start sorting your ideas, okay?

So you need to take your list where you have brainstormed a lot of ideas and you need to

start looking into are they possible to execute?

And which of these ideas harmonize with my end goal?

When you have sorted out then maybe you have two or three high quality ideas.

Now the tenth action you can take is to ask for feedback.

Now getting good feedback is not always easy because it depends on who you ask.

Now you will get one answer when you ask your customer for feedback, you will get another

answer when you ask someone in the same industry that you are in.

Ask for a lot of feedback but be selective when you start changing your ideas because

you need to be a little open minded here and realize that you might have the best idea

and that people that are giving you feedback will make your idea worse.

But I always think that it's good to be open minded and listen to what people say because,

from own experience I know that involving other people most often means that the ideas

will become better.

So that's ten actions you can take to become more creative.

And I will give you one bonus tip and that is not over-analyzing your ideas, okay?

So you need to connect your ideas to an action, because of you don't do you wont move forward.

So when you have a great idea start to execute it, it doesn't have to be perfect.

You can solve problem on the way when you execute the idea.

I hope that you got some inspiration from this and from the actions I take to get into

a creative mode and to find new ideas for a project.

If you have any tips how to become more creative, I would love to hear about it.

eng) 방탄소년단 백업 댄서 브이로그 & 후기 | BTS Backup Dancer Review @2019 골든디스크어워즈 & 서울가요대상 | J2N VLog - Duration: 10:04.

Hi, I'm J2N.

I've been to Golden Disc Awards at 6th Jan and

Seoul Music Awards at 15th Jan.

At these awards

I was a guest-backup dancer

so it is a VLog and Review video about those days

I mixed some videos as a series of happening

for showing real back stages

Let's watch!!

I went to Gocheok Sky dome through a metro and a bus

Bus ran slowly than my idea haha (I recommend metro)

My first time for going to work

After I got a promised place at Skydome,

I checked attendance and got tickets for being a staff for artist

I've received a wrist band at first day

and a necklace ticket at the second day

After entered the dome, we moved to a waiting room

There was a waiting room at 3rd floor aisle behind the main stage

It was so calm and comfortable to wait our turn

There was set tables for makeup artists

At the 2nd day, one big tent was waiting room at 1st floor behind the stage

It was such a small room to makeup as a simple space

But it was really beside the stages

When I went to a rest room or moved,

I came across some idols who were waiting their turn or exiting from the stage

It was cool haha

Such a big lucky

After waiting all dancers attending,

when our 1st rehearsal turn,

We moved together to the stage

When the 1st rehearsal, dance directors locate about 90 dancers's positions

After locating main dancers,

they did guest-dancers's positions

Luckily, I got close to main dancers

So I was captured at the ending frame at the 1st stage

This was filmed at the 2nd day

It was so wide and there were so many chairs

that I felt faraway

At the 1st rehearsal,

making it certainly the timing for time difference choreography

and after dancing once at the song,

then it's done.

And when the 2nd rehearsal, it was done with BTS

we checked an entrance , exit and ending

I will tell you review about performing with BTS soon

After the 1st rehearsal, we moved to eat lunch

We ate lunch which BigHit ent offered

We came here twice

and I forgot filming food because I hurried to eat haha

When going back to the waiting room

there were so many fan who waiting in front of the dome

before starting time, so I was surprised

After back to the waiting room, I got hair and makeup styling

One was in charge of base makeup

And the other one dealt with color makeup

So, I waited a little after getting base makeup

and then I got color makeup

The color makeup was about simple shading makeup

Many women dancers did their own makeup

The waiting line of makeup was shorter than hair styling

Women dancers got this hair styling - simple and tied back

It required so many hair pins

I was surprised

Next, I got hair styling

They did men's hair styling to fit well with own man

So I was impressed (thumbs up)

Because all dancers should get hair styling, they would have been so busy

But they were so kind than I was impressed

After receiving all styling,

To the performance, we should wait so much

So I took some selfies

and I took mirror videos haha

Thank you

Also, I watched some stages through a big screen

I could meet some idols really

The long waiting time was hard but It was novel

After long waiting, BTS's turn came back, which it the last stage

Then, before our turn, we all waited together at the backstage

And moved to our own position after checking all notices

There were some stairs to go up to the stage

If dancers who are waiting besides the stage are captured on the monitor, it would be not good

So, we waited at the bottom of the stage

After the 2nd highlight part ended, we entered the stage

we should move in a state of being bent

Then, we finally dance the 3rd highlight part

At this moment which our moves started

I cannot forget hearing the shouting sounds full of the dome

And when we lifted our upper body,

there were shining tens of thousands of ARMY bombs

It was liker movie than real movie

The Golden Disc stage was my first experience, so it was more impressed

Furthermore, it contained more playing and dancing part

So, I could enjoy more longer time on the stage

It makes this experience more valuable

I will tell you review about performing with BTS

First, I..

become more fan

I was surely ARMY before,

I watched them on the stage so closely, their energy cannot be explained haha

They look really handsome and full of aura

Especially, I was on the same floor with BTS

They played on the stage in a wide spread state

In front of me, V played excitingly

I can never forget it, I felt it's like dream haha

And in the case of Seoul Music Awards,

My position was here

I was less strained because of 2nd performance

and I thought it was the last time

so I endeavored to let all views be in my eyes

There were wide-spread seats

Their ARMY bombs shined so much

BTS are dancing in front of me

and I danced with them!

I cannot believe it haha

Doesn't it make sense?

But faithfully to business, I danced diligently

It was sad that song ended

I came down from the stage feeling I could pass 'IDOL' which I had heard so much away haha

After the performance, I can leave the dome after returning the outfits

There were so many people who come out after Awards ends that we should go diligently haha

I left after watching the last view of Gocheok Skydome

BTS awarded the grand prize

I think many people wonder how to become a guest-backup dancer , so I will tell you

BTS's awards stage always requires many backup dancers

In the case of this Golden Disc Awards

As far as I know, BigHit Ent sought men backup dancers hastly

I could know from acquaintance of my team member

so I sent messages, I could participate

Also, I do not know well of official recruitment method

In my case, it was so in a hurry that I didn't auditioned

Before the day of performance

I went to choreograph with BTS's dancers twice

The first day

And the second day

I took lessons from the official dancers

I can find what I didn't know when I practiced from practice videos

I could learn some details

Also, I think you guys wonder how much I got paid

But I think it is a sensitive problem, so I will tell you such a range

Because we should wait from the morning to the end of performance which is the last stage of Awards

We should put our one day totally

I participated with about between 90 and 180 dollars

But I think it would differ so much case by case as an artist or a entertainment

Also, it was my first experience so I do know only this haha..

I think these experiences were so valuable in my life

plus, I think you are so wondering about it

So, I did make this VLog video

If you like this video, plz push the like and subscribe buttons !

See you next video, Bye!

U S SUPERCARRIERS ARE UNSINKABLE - Duration: 8:48.

The Navy SEAL Who Killed Bin Laden and The Lone Survivor Give advice on BUD/S - Vigilance Elite - Duration: 15:25.

I know everybody here gets it you like question like a million fucking times

like what do I need to do to prefer four buds you know what we need to do to do

this what do I need to do you know we'll work on my swim so work on my

you-know-what and it gets like overwhelming you know like every other

email is or Instagram message or Facebook is what do I do to go to buds

what do I do the little bud so what's the start with wizard remember the Stu

Smith book yeah I know Suze there's a great dude you know Stu is one of the

greatest dudes out I'm really glad that I did this before I went in because I

was 23 so there was a little more mature to think through the potential for

failure and floating around on a gray ghetto in the middle of the ocean which

I absolutely didn't want to do so I decided that that's actually a pretty

tough routine if you look at that course I mean I think it was like six months

long at least three months long and it was six months long I think and I said

well I'm gonna do this every single day to the absolute T there's not even a

short cuts not on a single rep not a single exercise there will be no excuses

whatsoever so that I could sort of check myself to see if I felt like I was gonna

be able to carry through on you know and maintain that kind of a marathon which I

knew was gonna be in front of me going to budge and I said if I did if I

skipped anything I will not enlist in the Navy and I went through the product

I went through that whole thing twice and after that I was fairly confident

that I was going to be able to complete it I think that you have to present you

have to train and test yourself mentally because it's a mental game I mean now

it's a mental game my favorite guys that my favorite guys that were in my class

that made it through they were the ones that performed technically the worst

because shit man you gotta love the underdog guy that that got it gets his

ass kicked and comes back for anyone it's true so amen

that's not my advice I give and I used to I used to answer them and I long

email responses and would try and break it down psychologically and all this

stuff and we are a motivational speaker I do have that tendency I do have that

tendency but what I believe now is the one simple thing I used to you know and

then for a while I got annoyed with it was like just don't quit right you sent

this simple but now what I believe is the number one thing you can do is when

you show up there is not do anything for yourself you can't when you walk into a

PT or cleaning a room or when you afterwards and the guys dragging his

butt right and and Rob you talked about on the show one guy will be high one guy

will be low and hang out with the high guys will take the guys with low and the

low guys just be selfless because that's what this is all about it's about

putting the team ahead of self and so if you start in with the selfless attitude

that my main thing is to make sure his shits squared away he's my swim buddy

his boots are dialed in his socks then it starts that train rolling and you

jump the gun and you stop being so self centered in your own mind to make it

that it's about someone else which is what the teams are about and as a whole

if people ask me that question and I thought I always had an answer for it

now as we get older they're always like there's always changes of course but I

think one thing for the guys who make it is like your sense of humor needs to be

able to change daily and when you go in there you need to be kind of an open

book ready for anything right and think of the back of your head like there's no

other place on plants we'll be right fucking now all right and there is no

other there is nothing else on whatever comes

down the pike I'm supposed to be going through it and blood training is

supposed to suck someone when they stop I'm thinking man you're not bored with

of course we're glad for it to end but you won in your head you wanna tell you

a man and this making the chow all right yeah and uh I had those guys in my class

two dudes all yoked up man worried like oh god what a seal looks like right

there that's what it looks like on the appointment right you know what we look

like when we graduate right and then bones yeah and I think there's two kinds

of guys there's those guys who want to you can study the program like you want

to know what ahead of time it's coming down the pipe so you can test yourself

you ready and then there's those of us that's the adventure part I got I think

I can pretty much handle anything man I want I like to take it on the chin in

the beginning oh yeah and push through that and then those those of us that in

our leadership positions in Excel and we follow those guys and then there's guys

like me like man I wanted to prove to everybody that I was worth having around

because I could the good feeling in most spots to help push and because I have

any special skills right you know what did you do what did you do what Rob what

did you do what you know and it's like just fucking do it just go go do it wake

up supposed to suck right we watched those videos in the shit this is we were

talking about this here today we're watching Navy SEALs and it was the

zodiac part like that's the fucking thing that got me into this and that's

the thing that sucks the worst and it truly is really just so excited for

whatever comes down the pipe because you know I know this son of a bitches

toughest fuck and if I said you know I give motivational speeches and stuff and

always I'll talk to like middle school kids high school kids college kids now I

would say I want to be a Navy SEAL I'm preparing for what should I do to

prepare for it I've said it before tonight and I'll answer their question

with a question what are you do to prepare them they say the same thing

I'm taking cold showers every day just to get ready I'm like that it's horrible

knock it off and then they'll run with a pack in the sand why is that horrible

I'm like well if I told you 30 days from now I'm gonna kick you in the nuts as

hard as I can and to get ready for it your best friend kicks you in the nuts

every single day guess what he's gonna fucking suck when I do it so just

embrace it when it happens you can only imagine what's gonna fill

it so yeah in order to be a Navy SEAL taking warm showers that's it no matter

what make the stoutest home it sucks get the fuck up you're gonna get plenty of

that beatdown bullshit there don't do that just keep

the boots off and I'm gonna crush you in 30 days embrace it

and don't take anything personal no matter why one of the things I tell

people that get me to check out in town it's like hey my job starts on H as a

great question man I should have gone first one yeah cuz I was gonna say that

too but yes Fogg the greatest part is just that damn unique characteristics I

mean we've got gangbangers and fucking bankers sons and Oprah billionaires

sucking it up together on the CTT we just went through to the decon shower

next to me is a gangbanger from Denver over here is got a English Lit degree

from Clemson over here is a guy from Butte Montana you know I'm a college

dropout from Boca Raton Florida dude I showed up I was 19 and like 19

like the second you know what are the coolest

I love that we're going through hell we thought we're Wednesday something hell

we're at the pool and we have a chance I know they were doing on purpose we have

a chance to go into the locker room and take a warm shower warm shower every

motherfuckers that not I'm not doing it yeah I'm not getting warm I'll get back

in the cold I'm not fucking doing it's not worth it

my swim buddies gets got all jacked up so we had had to go in there with him

and I was sitting and I'm never forgetting and stretch from rock walks

in he's like what the fuck are y'all doing and they're like no it's not we're

not hiding I swear to God he'll go get in the heart shower he made us go get in

it and because he con that's my god yeah you could hear that damn thing fired up

right that was my room at 6:04 was that

my favorite thing about the young guys we had one in our class name is Nick

hocks and I'll never forget you remember around the pit at the end of the day

your your your Bo crew or your oh I see would get around and be like alright

here's what we did right today here's what we did wrong you know officers do

you have anything you want to say you know all this and everybody would be

like oh we need to be more on time when and they go around and I mean I'm ever

remember uh mr. D would be like rah rah rah freedom yeah yeah freedom and and it

it was yeah it was so funny I'm thinking forever man

it was so funny but then I remember Nick got up and Nick was 18 he joined 1789

buzz and he was five seven nine five six one hundred and thirty pounds soaking

soaking wet and he comes up and he had this way he kind of walked cocky

motherfucker but it ha everyone everyone loved him everybody and he came up he

got out in the minute he goes all of you effing pussies right huh

he goes you guys they're all scared need to quit right now everyone's like well

first of all maybe not fuck him that's awesome yeah you're right dude I he did

everyone's gonna quit quit now get the fuck out of here quit now get the fuck

dude I would I love this oh he was turned into like that like the class

mask and it he was hard I mean he was

miserable but he was all he knew he was taking some heat Oh

after that it didn't stop man well I guess I would say like I guess I just

blend it all together then and and you know like one just do it like now

nowadays like everybody has got so much access you know to like everything

us and it's hey what would you do hey what would you do hey what would you do

hey what you know and it's like my generation is part of the newest one out

of it isn't it was you know out of all of us and I didn't have access to that

shit and I was 18 and I said fuck it I'm gonna do it you know and I did it and

then like well you were saying like be selfless like I remember I remember the

the people that stood out to me the most in my class were the Marines yeah thank

you guys have already gone out yeah we're gonna come back in and when I I

had Barker yeah Doyle and and Ellie Miller too and those guys man like just

fucking got it you know like money if you're the best at what if you're the

fucking fastest runner or the fastest swimmer that's great and if you're used

to getting praise and you know like oh you're fucking you're a badass cuz you

won the fucking goddamn football game or you won the track meet or you were the

best wrestler like you're not getting that prazer at all so if you win the

fucking four mile run then you better get your ass back in there and help the

dude and you better not be looking for that praise cuz you're not gonna get it

you know and the the Marines are like one through my class like those three

guys are the ones that really ring a bell for me you know what I mean like

bring it back is you know they're the ones that when I shot like shit

it up things right in your face you have them they're helping me - I can shoot

better when I swim like shit because that was like the slowest

swimmer they're the ones dragging my ass through the fucking water you know and

yeah and like so you need to give that

mindset to be able to go you know it's not the best who gives a shit because

your buddy isn't so make him the best or you know what I mean

unless he's a total shitbag drowning you know but that's that's my take well

gentlemen I'm glad you brought that up man those Marines dude cuz that's big

deal - getting down the core yeah yeah one of the guys I trained with they're

in our group there's three Navy SEALs and two Green Berets but one of the seal

Tommy he was a Marine Force Recon really like a war one officer type - and when

he decided he was ten years in the Corps before you he's like I want to be a seal

now taking forever to get these old ten now really oh yeah hard as nails man but

it was we hit third face and what's the struggle was anybody marine here and

when Shawn Morrison stood up in our class everything got a lot easier they

moved him kind of into them leadership position today that's cool squared away

that's cool gents again Rob Shawn thank you so much for coming all the way out

Bushcraft Skills | Thursday's Thought - Duration: 4:01.

hi folks I'm Craig Taylor and as always a huge thanks to joining me here my

youtube channel the bushcraft Padawan and thank you for

joining me in this week's Thursday Thought. My Thursday's thought video last

week encouraged people to share with me what they defined bushcraft us and there

are lots of different definitions and words used but I think the thing that

connected many of them is it's a collection of other things it's a

collection of some skill sets subject areas areas of interest that when you

group them all together you can add this sort of collective umbrella term of

bushcraft over the top of them so with that in mind it's a collection of

different skill sets and subject areas I've been thinking about what do I think

is the least focused on the least talked about the least practiced I suppose of

all of these different skill sets and this is what I've come up with I've come

up with - I think that tree and plant identification is a grossly on deck used

under discussed underutilized subject area I think is important I think it

should be more talks about you know if anything if bushcraft is about

understanding the the natural world around us and being able to to take from

that what we need for our own purposes understanding what can do what and what

species can provide us with this and what species can provide us with that

would be a sensible move but judging by some of the conversations I've seen in

various online communities I'm a member of tree and plant ID isn't very well

discussed isn't talks about that often it often falls down the the the pecking

order in place of things like you've guessed it sharp cutting objects and big

bright orange hot fire so it seems to be down the pecking order in many people's

intro and the other area which is a particular

interest of mine is map reading and land navigation again it falls way down the

picking order from what I can see about people talking about it discussing it

generating ideas and discussion around again falling down the pecking order

behind the more I guess sexy and obvious subjects such as sharp cutting tools a

big red hot orange fire so those the skill sets those are the subject areas

that I think don't get enough attention that may fall under this bushcraft

banner this bushcraft umbrella 10 trim plant ID and map reading and land

navigation but what about you what do you think from your perspective of what

bushcraft is and that's what I think makes this question interesting is

different people will put different things under this umbrella term so what

do you think from your perspective is the least underutilized undervalued

under discussed bushcraft skill and why do you think it is I think I've been

interesting and hearing up why do you think whatever it is that you're going

to mention is so far down the pecking order of interest compared to the

sexiest subject as always I really look forward to hearing your thoughts in the

comments below whether it's on Facebook or Twitter or wherever it is that you're

watching this in the bottom right hand corner of your screen has been a

Thank you so much for watching this video if you liked it make sure you leave it a thumbs

up and subscribe to the channel.

And I just want to a massive thank you to everybody who has subscribed so far.

Last week we hit 1000 subscribers which is just blowing my mind so thank you so much.

And I can't wait to show you the next episode.
