It's time for Mechanic's Monday!

welcome to my new segment, mechanic Monday, every Monday I'll be getting back

to you guys, by hosting a giveaway, where you can enter and win a free tool signed

by me, and here's this week's tool, it's an Actron CP 9580A, I paid 250

bucks for it a couple years ago, and it's going to be autographed by me, you get a

chance to win it, this is a serious can tool, I used all the time when I was

working on cars, it's got very high-level analysis, but it's also very user

friendly, now of course it does the usual, tell you the trouble codes, give you a

definition of it, but this thing even has a code connect, when there is a code, you

push the button and it shows you the most common fixes, this Toyota has an ABS

problem and not only did it read the code, but it tells you the most common

fixes, replacing the brake light switch, pretty cool, now when you look here, it

even records data, so if you have an intermittent glitch, you can put it on

record data, you can drive the vehicle until the trouble acts up, then you just

push the enter button, and it memorizes the last 45 seconds or so, so you can

look at the data and see what the problem is, it's a pretty good scan tool,

now to enter and get a chance to win the tool, all you have to do is post one

we're celebrating the festive season with a browse though the greatest horror movie posters of all time.

If you're looking for a clear difference between classic and modern horror movie posters

then it's that modern ones tend to favour a less is more approach as exemplified by Alien.

It borders on minimalist, focusing on the ominous egg with that troubling green light and smoke coming out of the crack.

What's great about this poster is that it stays with you when you watch the film,

so when John Hurt leans over the egg you find yourself shouting at the screen,

'don't do it John! I saw it on the poster! It's got all that green shit inside!'

In addition to this, the lack of much else going on directs you towards what has to be one of the most effective

movie taglines of all time

Girl Claims She Can Recognize Colors by Smell - Duration: 1:34.

Deepti Regmi, an 11-year-old girl from Nepal,

spontaneously developed a peculiar ability last year.

She is, inexplicably, able to smell colors,

and can supposedly even identify them while blindfolded.

Although she does not have an official diagnosis,

her ability appears to be related to the sensory phenomena known as synaesthesia.

Synaesthesia causes the person's senses to become confused,

causing sensation to one sensory input (such as the eyes) to stimulate sensation in another (the nose).

This is what causes Deepti to smell color, and others to visualize color when they hear music, or to taste flavors when they hear certain sounds

Deepti Regmi believes that her ability is a gift from God.

She has been training to sharpen her sense of smell with the hope that she will eventually be able to use her ability to help the visually impaired.

She appears in footage originally posted to Daily Mail identifying colors while blindfolded by sniffing various objects.

She is also allegedly able to identify colors printed in a newspaper and read the print by feeling it.

Around 1 in 2000 people globally are affected by the condition

according to the American Psychological Association, and synesthetes are predominately female

The cause of synaesthesia is currently unknown. There does appear to be a genetic factor in some cases,

according to APP researchers, but the condition often occurs completely spontaneously as well.

THE PERFECT CHRISTMASSY MAKEUP (ENG SUB) | MrDanielmakeup - Duration: 16:03.

- Hi guys! Today I'm with Marina. - Hi!

I couldn't wait to film my Christmas 2017 makeup tutorial.

This time, I created a contrast between warm and cool tones, which are metallic and glittery.

On the lips I applied a beautiful colour, which can be a great alternative for the usual red.

The skin is obviously bronzy, glowy and flawless.

Let's move on to the tutorial, I hope you like it!

I start by moisturizing the skin with L'Absolue Precious Oil by Lancôme, which I love.

I blend it in with a brush,

- Do you know what type of base I want in this video? - Glowy?

- How did you know? - I just guessed.

- I want it glowy, but also... - Bronzy.

How do you know?

For foundation, I use Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear, which is one of my favourite stick foundations ever.

I love the combo with the Precious Oil because the stick glides on easily.

It has very high coverage, but it's very thin and you don't feel it on the skin.

Its texture adapts well on all skin types.

Of course, if you have very dry skin, you should moisturize more before makeup,

and if you have very oily skin, you should powder more after makeup.

You can see how quickly I achieved a flawless complexion.

I apply Smashbox Lid Primer, which is my favourite because it evens out the skin and it's not too dry.

From NABLA Dreamy Eyeshadow Palette, which will soon be back on stock,

I use Illusion and I apply it in the crease.

These eyeshadows are very pigmented, but also extremely easy to blend.

From Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette, which is beautiful,

I mix Glam Rock and Starfire, a golden bronze shade.

I start with Glam Rock, a silver shade. They're all very pigmented.

I love Urban Decay eyeshadows, especially the metallic ones, as they're very buttery.

I now apply Starfire on the centre of the lid and I blend it towards Glam Rock.

I stop before the end of the lid and I leave this part clean.

I now apply Illusion on the outer part of the eye to create a contrast between matte and metallic.

I now apply my mini MAC Teddy pencil on the base of the lashes to intensify it.

I then blend it with a small brush.

I now apply the new NABLA Dazzle Liner in the shade Comet, which is a rose gold shade.

Like all other shades, it looks like metal on the eye. It's beautiful.

I suggest you to shake it well before use, as it's only composed of metallic pearl.

Look down, please.

Like so.

As you can see, it's gorgeous. I love it.

I end the line half way through the lid to add luminosity only on the inner and middle part.

I leave the outer part more matte and less luminous. I love the effect.

For concealer, I'm using Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage, which goes well with the foundation.

It has very high coverage, so a little goes a long way.

I always use a slightly lighter shade to brighten up the centre of the face.

I also apply it on the bridge of the nose, forehead, chin and cupid's bow.

I first blend the edges with a soft brush and I also elongate the eye makeup,

and I then press the product into the skin with the Beauty Blender.

The effect of this concealer is beautiful and very smoothing.

With the same foundation, but in a darker shade, I contour the face.

I dab the brush to create a natural shade.

For highlighter, I use Lancôme Click and Go, which is a cream highlighting pen.

I'm using it in the shade 03.

I apply it on the highest points of the face. I forgot to blend the nose contouring.

This concealer is beautiful because it's very luminous, it sets well on the skin and it remains glowy.

Its applicator reminds of a flatiron.

So glowy!

I now do a soft baking using my beloved Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

- I only apply it here, as the rest needs to be... - Glowy. Sorry, I was a bit slow.

- Let's do it again. The rest needs to be... - Glowy.

I'm also applying some on the forehead, otherwise you'll look oily.

While I wait for the powder to bake, I fill in the brows.

I first comb them and I then use NABLA Brow Divine in the shade Neptune.

You're a good little makeup addicted.

With a small brush and the same foundation I used earlier, I define the outer part of the brow.

I now set them with Benefit Ready Set Brow!

Time to remove the excess powder.

I'm using this brush by Einat Dan which doesn't have a name as it was part of a set.

I say this because you guys often ask me which brush I use to remove the excess powder.

The answer is: I don't know, as it doesn't have a name.

On the lower lash line, I apply Illusion and I join it with the upper lid makeup.

With MAC Teddy pencil, I elongate and intensify the outer part.

I apply the same pencil on the waterline and I also apply some on the base of the lashes.

I then blend it with a brush.

I don't like to leave a dark line only on the waterline.

For mascara, I'm using Benefit They're Real in the Holidays limited edition.

- I wanted to create some Christmas atmosphere. - Thank you.

I intensify the mascara on the lower lashes.

- You look beautiful, Mari! - Thank you.

For false lashes, I use these ones by Lena Lashes in Posh.

For bronzer, I'm using Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil and I dab it.

By doing so, I also set the cream contouring.

I apply the same bronzer also in the crease of the eye.

On the lips, I apply Noblesse Oblige, one of your favourite new Dreamy Liquid Lipsticks by NABLA.

I think it looks beautiful with this makeup.

It's so beautiful. I love this colour.

You need to try the Dreamy lipsticks, they're amazing.

They're extremely pigmented, they smell amazing, they're completely matte, no-transfer and long-lasting.

- What's your favourite one from the Christmas edition? - That's a tough question.

- I know which one is mine: Ritual. - It's beautiful.

I love nude shades, so I would say Zen, but I also like this one, Silk Road, Broadway...

- You like them all because they're your creations. - Exactly.

This is the effect when dry. It's gorgeous and I love the contrast with the eye makeup.

Time to apply blush and powder highlighter.

I choose Fetish by Urban Decay, which is a mauve shade that matches the lipstick.

- Do you know this song? - I was waiting for it.

- It's the song you sing with Giulia in the car. - Exactly.

- The one I sing with Giulia is this one. - But also the other one.

- You should create a playlist. - I want to do it on Spotify so that we can sing together.

Let's now spray some mist. Close your eyes and don't breathe. This is by Tatcha.

For highlighter, I use Bliss, my favourite one from Urban Decay After Glow palette.

Are you ready to slay?

I'm also adding some Side Piece, which is more golden toned.

I like to bring the highlighter in this area, close to the sides of the nose, to add even more luminosity.

You'll soon apply it all over my face.

If you bring it also in this area, the effect will look more natural, as opposed to a stripe.

What should we call this application? L shape highlighter.

I'm applying this Reflects Glitter by MAC in the shade Copper on the centre of the lid.

Now we're Christmassy!

I'm now using MAC Reflects Red, which are transparent with a red reflection,

and I'm applying them on the transition area between silver and bronze. They're so pretty.

I always reach for these glitters on Christmas time.

So, this is the final look! A makeup of contrast between cool and warm metallic tones.

I love it and I think it's a great Christmas alternative for the classic gold eye and red lips.

I also love this glowy and bronzy skin.

Plot to KILL Kim: WW3 army unit with 1,000 SOLDIERS launched to overthrow NK regime

A "DECAPITATION unit" aimed at overthrowing North Korean leader Kim Jong-un if a world

war broke out has been launched.

The South Korean army force would consist of around 1,000 soldiers tasked with taking

down hermit kingdom dictator Kim and other key targets.

The unit, modelled on the US Army's infamous Delta Force which is known for its ultra-trained

soldiers, was launched on Friday.

It was established under South Korea's Special Warfare Command and would spring into action

if war broke out between the rivals.

The "decapitation unit" would move quickly to assassinate Kim and remove other key North

Korean government figures from power.

Soldiers would then turn their crosshairs onto nuclear and missile facilities to stop

more destructive weapons being fired, sources told Korea Times.

It was initially planned to launch the unit in 2019, but this timeframe has been accelerated

amid rising tensions in the region.

South Korean Defence Minister Song Yong-moo first referred to the unit's creation in September,

following Pyongyang's sixth nuclear test.

He told lawmakers in Seoul at the time that the brigade would be formed by the end of

the year, using the term "decapitation unit".

This comes as it emerged back in October a US Navy Seal squad tasked with taking down

Kim had joined war drills in the Korean Peninsula.

Last week another missile test was conducted by North Korea – its most powerful yet.

The Hwasong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile is capable of hitting the US mainland.

The latest missile launch by Kim was denounced by South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

He called it a "reckless provocation".

Moon added: "The situation could get out of control if the North completes the development

of ballistic missiles that can fly to a different continent.

"We have to prevent such a scenario where the North may miscalculate the situation and

threaten us with nuclear weapons, or the US may consider a pre-emptive strike."

And war drills starting today in the Korean Peninsula by South Korea and the US have raised

fears Kim will strike back in retaliation.

I'm acting like heck right now but he says you overestimate what you can get

done in a year and underestimate what you can get done in ten years so I

walked into Community College almost 10 years ago this is a Tony Robbins thing I

I I want to kind of counter my fear going outside so that's my that's my

building I've been here for two two and a half years but you know you got to

keep on going forward just a step take it take a step every day you know one of

my favorite quotes is journey of a thousand miles starts with one step and

then what's kind of been in my head lately is this Tony Robbins quote

alright heard it from him says that you are you underestimate what you can get

done in 10 years but you what you overestimate what you can get done in a

year so I'm about 8 months I started in August 2008 I walked in Community

College for the third well I walked into University

our College for the third time I went to university failed out like right after

high school then about when I was 25 were like seven

years later I went to Community College and dropped out of there so I took my

lessons and it is December of 2017 so it's been nine years four months it's

kind of weird because that's what my lease my lease is up here and then I'm

gonna have been at this office this beautiful this beautiful office for

three years when this when this lease is up I mean I've been here for three years

this August coming up this August August of 2018 and so that's gonna be 10 years

and and I'm gonna have something even better than this spot here you know I'm

gonna have something way better than this but in 10 years so 10 years ago I

walked into Community College that was a broken person I didn't really ever tried

anything you know I had nothing no really legal skills I am you know before

I went to college I always just work to manually when I worked I just worked a

manual labor job for eight bucks I would work my wife like

ten bucks an hour so anyway so where I am where I'm going to be in eight more

months you know I'm gonna I'm gonna have a smashing smashing tax season this year

and so yeah I'm gonna have you know my kind of compound I'm gonna have a house

with with a you know a studio and then I can just all whole house hopefully

hopefully I'll have that that place that I was doing from the garage hopefully

that I'll be mine the whole house come next August it just seems like from

where I was in ten years you know just because I always kept going you know

year year by year so just start you know you'll be amazed

cuz year by year seemed like I wasn't getting anywhere you know one year yes I

graduated community college got my a that was nice but I still did three more

years so I did four years of university you know of college four years so it's

like that second you know what were you over asked me what you can do is it

feels like I felt like I should have been making money but I wasn't you know

it took a while so the thing is you know don't get discouraged if you don't seem

like you're going anywhere you can definitely go you know if you just keep

on putting up one foot in front of the other so year to year I didn't really do

that great of that biggest stuff it's it's you know you want to do more but in

ten years ten years time I'm gonna do a ten years you know August of next year

when I'm in my new place because I'm not renewing this Leif's I feel like three

years it's time to move on so the ten years is gonna be amazing from where I

went you know to where just because I kept

going just like putting a foot one foot in front of the other for ten years it's

amazing where you can go and and you do not have to be perfect in those ten

years like a professional a professional career life college and a professional

career life like accounting and stuff and I guess this YouTube too because I'm

making money at it but I didn't start ten years ago but I did start learning

accounting you know I wasn't perfect I mean for the first five years of my ten

years I was still partying I mean some semesters I would drop a couple classes

but I went all year round so this is way long enough but the point is just keep

on going just keep on putting one foot in for and the other one foot in front

of the other just keep on going forward you know sometimes you're just gonna

you're gonna keep climb forward and you're gonna go one step up three steps

down and you're like paying I'm telling you just keep climbing because then then

then a time you're gonna make three steps forward and two steps down and

then you're gonna do that a couple times and

you know you don't have to be perfect you just have to keep going so I know

it's not it doesn't seem like you're getting anywhere but it will anyways

It's time for Mechanic's Monday!

welcome to my new segment, mechanic Monday, every Monday I'll be getting back

to you guys, by hosting a giveaway, where you can enter and win a free tool signed

by me, and here's this week's tool, it's an Actron CP 9580A, I paid 250

bucks for it a couple years ago, and it's going to be autographed by me, you get a

chance to win it, this is a serious can tool, I used all the time when I was

working on cars, it's got very high-level analysis, but it's also very user

friendly, now of course it does the usual, tell you the trouble codes, give you a

definition of it, but this thing even has a code connect, when there is a code, you

push the button and it shows you the most common fixes, this Toyota has an ABS

problem and not only did it read the code, but it tells you the most common

fixes, replacing the brake light switch, pretty cool, now when you look here, it

even records data, so if you have an intermittent glitch, you can put it on

record data, you can drive the vehicle until the trouble acts up, then you just

push the enter button, and it memorizes the last 45 seconds or so, so you can

look at the data and see what the problem is, it's a pretty good scan tool,
