No, it does not smell like anything

Welcome to BrasilVivientes

Welcome to our coffee farm

Not

But, my friend, if you like coffee, you have to know that Brazil...

Is the largest coffee producer

In the world

Did you know that coffee comes from a tree?

This is a coffee tree

Show them, Denise, where the coffee comes from

Look, friend, the coffee you drink in the morning

There's a spider

Go away!

Ok

Coffee is born from a plant like this

And she is creating small fruits that are known as cherries

and they go from little ones like these, green, tiny and then they grow up

and then they change their color and they get yellow, yellow, yellow

and then they get really red, well ripe to be collected

Here is a variety of coffee that is knows as yellow bourbon

which is yellow

Here you can see the difference

that doesn't mean they are not ripe

They are super ripe, but it's another coffee variety

It doesn't turn red when it's ripe, but it gets really yellow

like this one here

and it's sweeter

Delicious

Hey it's fine huh

But then this is not for eaten, right?

Nope

And do you eat the other?

I don't eat it, but if you want to...

Do you eat the pulp?

Are you eating it?

No? no!

You don't eat those, Denise

Let's go!

Where do we go?

Up

Where?

I don't know, but everyone is going

And if everyone goes, I go

If everyone goes, we also go

And if everyone pulls of the fifth floor

We also pull!

Let's see then, you've heard that Jorge said

First the coffee is collected, after that the skin is removed

But what does it mean to remove the skin?

Remove the skin out of what?

Look, these are the little seeds of coffee, but inside there are the grains

Now I'm going to show you how it looks

because, look, maybe you don't see the coffee beans, right?

But if you squeeze it, there it is

these are the coffee beans

and this is the pulp

of the coffee

Is it possible to see?

Hey, I think it came three

Mine came three!

Oh, three came

It's like a lucky clover

Anyway, inside the little fruit there are these little things

And these are the grains

So this is what the machine that removes the skin of coffee, makes the coffee go from being a little fruit to be these grains

Of course, later they toast it so that it gets brown as you know it

And that woman?

Hey, look, there's the "despolpadeira"!

"des-po-despol-padeira"

What is it?

"Despolpadeira" is where they put the "cherry" of coffee

which is that red little thing

and they pass it there to removes its skin

They remove the skin!

So that it only remains the grains of coffee, so that they can dry it and then toast it

"Despolpadeira"

Well, friends, after the harvest comes the bathroom

And Jorge always wanted to enter this building

I always wanted to enter

Well, if it's not over here, the worst thing they can do is to tell us that it's not over here

Breaking in!

Amazing!

Oh, terraces!

Wow is a large terrace

Yes!

So beautiful!

What a good idea was to come up!

So nice!

We were there, there's the little coffee plantation they have

This is the coffee plantation

And there's the Ibirapuera Park

There's the Obelisk

There's the Auditorium

There's the Planetarium

There's the museum

There's the other museum

And there is the city!

This is getting more and more ...

Cyndi Lauper, derroche de energía - Duration: 6:29.

NUEVA YORK.

Querían que escribiera una y otra vez Girls just want to have fun.

Sólo de su álbum debut She's so unusual, de 1983 y con hits como Girls just want to have fun y Time after time, vendió más de 16 millones de copias

CLA Alumni on Applied Problem Solving - Duration: 4:18.

I always feel like I'm solving problems.

You know I'm a dance teacher, so

I'm looking at a very specific student

and trying to help them grow, to having

a dance company and try to figure out

OK, how do I get you from over here to there,

stage left to stage right, for this

next entrance and small things like that.

Or how do we find a way

to make the set or prop work within

the structure of the piece, to problem

solving constantly of raising the funds

to keep this non-profit alive and

throwing events and making sure that

I'm not burdening all my donors

all at the same time with

constantly asking or needing money

to make things happen.

You know, you don't start from a

Bachelor of Fine Arts with a ceramics

emphasis and end up as a

state legislator as a sort of lineal path

and then ultimately go into financing

clean energy projects. It's really been

about looking at the problem

in front of me. What's the public good

that can be solved, and how can we

creatively deploy all the resources

that are available? I describe that

sometimes what you got to do for a

project like this, at University Enterprise

Laboratories, is you've got to take all the

component parts, what's the essence

of who they are and what's their core

business, what are their challenges...

Put them all in a box.

And kind of like that Apollo 13 moment

of we have a square peg

and a round hole. These are the parts

available to us. Close the door and

let's solve this problem. Dump it all on

the table and see what we could put

back together. That takes real creative

problem solving and I think is kind

of the essence of innovation

is working better with the tools you have.

I think a lot of the journalism classes

were really real world experience.

And I remember a few specifically

where you were given an assignment.

You were asked to write a story

and then they would say, "now all of a

sudden you've learned that this person

passed away." And now you have to

continue writing this story

and it's due in 30 minutes.

I think that one of the skills that you

develop in CLA is being able to

calmly deal with problems and questions

and look at them in a step by step manner

and come up with a variety of solutions.

And also being able to think about it

creatively in a way that even if the

first solution doesn't work you can

go back, learn from it, and try again.

Many couples come in feeling

like they've tried everything and there's

no other options left. Applied problem

solving helps me to come up with

creative solutions to make them be more

motivated to try more things.

Just because a problem looks one way

to the couple doesn't mean that they're

accurate about what's really causing

their problems. If we take the time to

actually get a better understanding of

what they both see, then we can help

them realize what actually is. And if they

come to a mutual understanding about

what that understanding is, then they can

move forward together.

Although I spend a lot of time

researching and doing much of the

sort of initial definition and exploration

of certain types of problems, it's really

being able to collaborate and in

some cases delegate some of the

solutions oriented stuff to people who

have either responsibility over or

greater expertise in related fields.

And so applied problem solving is

both about doing that research and

learning from the world around us as

rapidly and effectively as possible

and then quickly dovetailing that

new information into something

that acts as a solution for

the context at hand.

I think my studies in law, crime, and

deviance helped me kind of think

on my feet and, you know, figure out

that there's multiple solutions

to a problem just from a multitude

of my classes, whether it was

dealing crime, whether it was

dealing with policing. I've definitely

learned that there is not only one solution

to every problem there's multiple.

And my role is to try to figure out

those different solutions.

Navagatng Life Part One - Duration: 39:46.

the title of my message today is navigating life everybody say navigating

life navigating life are their keys that will help us navigate life what does the

scripture say I always like to look at the words of Jesus because that's really

the best way to begin so what did Jesus say in Matthew chapter 6 let's go to

Matthew chapter 6 and I'm gonna take a moment to open my electronic version

here in just a moment Matthew chapter 6 and we're gonna begin

with verse 5 we'll start at the beginning there and for many this is a

familiar passage of Scripture because it talks about what we call the Lord's

Prayer and so in Matthew chapter 6 verse 5 my Bible is taking a little longer

this morning than it normally does so here it is notice that it says in verse

5 Matthew chapter 6 verse 5 and when you pray you shall not be like the

hypocrites for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the

corners of the streets that they may be seen by men all right now I want you to

notice first and foremost what does Jesus say there he says pray right but

notice what he says he says when you pray when you pray not if you pray so

navigating life this morning we're going to talk about some of the keys that

Jesus brings to us to teach us about prayer everybody say prayer he wants to

teach us some things about prayer so in verse 5 6 and 7 notice both all three of

those verses start and when you pray or but when you pray look verse 5 and when

you pray you shall not be like the hypocrites verse 6 but you when you pray

go into your room right and then verse 7 and when you pray do not use vain

repetitions so what we have to realize as believers in Christ is that prayer is

so important now I didn't know the message of yesterday and the Women's

Conference Friday Saturday had to do with the Sabbath and

had to do with taking the rest I got to hear from some different folks about the

word that Mary Jean brought to our ladies and and some of that has to do

with this message this morning I think the Holy Ghost is so cool because I

didn't know that she was going to be ministering that to our ladies and then

I found that out after this and so prayer is so important because what does

it do prayer establishes our relationship with the father prayer

establishes our relationship with the father so it's important that we take

time to pray that's what that's why when Jesus said when you pray he didn't say

if for you and for me as followers of Christ and as children of God prayer is

absolutely necessary especially for thinking about navigating life we think

about navigating the challenges of life we think about the circumstances in the

situations that we may come up against in life how do we navigate those things

how do we live in this day in this age that God has called us to be a part of

his body how do we do that he said when you pray so we've got to set time aside

to pray and I think one of the things that my wife was telling me that she

heard that Mary Jean talked about is we need to start setting aside these

electronic devices when we have time to pray amen how many times you're in your

prayer time and your phone buzzes and you say oh excuse me Lord and you take

that and you do a text and you go back to praying oh Jesus I love you oh we go

back and forth we go back and forth I've been there I've done that then I've had

to repent and say lord please forgive me so sometimes it's just better to go into

your place of I know we do a lot electronically because we have Bibles

and we have the ability to take notes and we have study tools but if we're not

careful these things can distract us from that quiet time with him for where

for when we're in his presence and we can hear him speak and we can hear him

guide us and direct us so it's absolutely necessary I'm not gonna reap

reach everything cuz I don't know everything that Mary Jean said but I

think that's so awesome that we have to be reminded I mean it's not awesome I

think it's awesome she brought it out it's sad that we have to be reminded but

awesome that the Spirit of God wants to say okay let's wake up a little let's

pay attention a little and and see what he says in our quiet time now I want you

to notice something here when I said that just a moment ago prayer

establishes your relationship with the father in verse 6 and verse 9 jesus said

when you pray go away by yourself shut the door behind you and pray to your

father in private then your father who sees everything will reward you verse 9

pray like this our Father in Heaven may your name be kept holy now many of you

probably realize this but I know there's new people coming in new folks coming in

new new believers in Christ and we need to be reminded that what Jesus is doing

here is he's introducing a brand new concept to of God to the Jewish men and

women of his day I started to look this up the other day and and I noticed in

the book of Genesis God is introduced as the God of your father the God of your

father Abraham the god of your father Jacob the God of your father

so he's introduced throughout the Old Testament as the God of your father the

God of Israel and so that's the primary introduction the primary way that the

Jewish people got to know God as the god of not my father so you find a few

references which I think is very interesting over hundreds of years you

find a few references in Deuteronomy chapter 1 verse 31 the scripture says

and you saw how the Lord your God cared for you all along the way as you

traveled through the wilderness notice this just as a father

cares for his child now he has brought you to this place

so in Deuteronomy chapter 1 verse 31 there's a reference to just as a father

cares for his child then in Psalm 68 verse 5 the David talks of God and says

father to the fatherless defender of widows this is God whose dwelling is

holy ok father to the fatherless so you have Deuteronomy chapter 1 verse 31 but

then you have quite a few hundred years and then you've got Psalms and then

you've then you've got Psalm 89 verse 26 it says and he will call out to me you

are my father my god and the rock of my salvation so there's there's there are

glimpses of the father heart of God throughout the Old Testament but I don't

think they got it I think they were more concerned with

the law what we see the scribes and the Pharisees and holding to the strict

rules and regulations that many times they came up with and added to the law

what is it five hundred six hundred seven hundred different things that they

added to the Ten Commandments that's you were supposed to do this you weren't

supposed to do that and so they began and they didn't understand the father

heart of God then this is a very familiar passage of Scripture to us

Isaiah chapter 9 verse six speaking of Jesus and hid the scripture says for a

child is born to us a son is given to us the government will rest on his

shoulders and he will be called wonderful counselor mighty God

everlasting father Prince of Peace so there again another glimpse of the

father heart of God and so in Malachi before the four hundred years of silence

from the Old Testament until Jesus came Malachi chapter 2 verse 10 the scripture

says and we not all are we not all children of the same father are we not

all created by the same God then why do we betray each other via

relating the covenant of our ancestors so of course you understand that not

every person on the face of the earth is a child of God only those who ask Jesus

Christ to be the Lord of their life they're children of God right you're a

child of God because you invite Christ into your life you're not a child of God

because you're born into the earth we are born in created in the image of God

but we're not children of God until we say Jesus I believe you're the son of

God and I invite you to come into my life that's when we become his son or

his daughter that's when we come in to sonship in that relationship that he

desires and then we can call him father so Jesus is introducing something to us

and I don't know how that ministers to you that ministers to me each one of us

have probably had different kinds of earthly fathers and sometimes earthly

fathers give us a good picture of God the Father and sometimes earthly fathers

kind of mess things up and they make it harder for some folks to have a good

image of God the Father and the only way you're gonna get past that please don't

transfer if you had a negative situation with your earthly father please don't

transfer that to God the Father because he's not like that if you had a negative

circumstance or situation or you had a father who was abusive or a mom who was

abusive that authority figure in our lives at times we transfer that to God

and we we shrink back from God or we shy back from because of the influence that

we've had of others in leadership position or positions of authority in

our life don't transfer that to God decide to to get into the word and say

you know what Lord I need to learn more about you as my father and I'm just

gonna push these other things aside that these experiences that I've had you know

so many times people build their theology on experience rather than what

the Word of God says the thing that will keep us safe the thing that will keep us

moving in the right direction in our relationship with God is the Word of God

God the Bible says of God that he is faithful he'll never leave us he'll

never forsake us the Bible says of Jesus Christ he's the same yesterday today and

forever and so there's so much we can learn about the father heart of God if

we would take time to get before him and that's what Jesus was introducing in the

book of Matthew when he said begin praying by our father that has to do

with relationship navigating life is not just about keeping the law and doing

everything just right navigating life is first and foremost about your about my

relationship with God and he's done a lot to bring us into that place into

that position so that we could know him as our Father amen so get to know him as

your father and then notice this as we talk about prayer pray alone now this

seems like a given but remember in Matthew chapter 6 when Jesus said when

you pray don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on the street

corners he was addressing specifically those who wanted to come across as super

spiritual who wanted to come across in a prideful way so they prayed outlet now

is it wrong to pray out loud no we have prayer meetings in there there are times

and especially in our prayer meetings we encourage different people to pray out

loud but we do it from a motive of partnering with God we do it from a

motive of wanting to see his kingdom come his will be done on the earth and

so prayer is vital prayers is important when you pray publicly as well but we

don't want to pray to be seen we don't want to pray to be noticed and say oh

wow so and so they really must be close to God listen to that prayer you know

where it's more of about all about me before it's all about talking to God and

giving his business done on the earth so there's a right place and time to pray

out loud in with others but how many of you know if you're not praying alone you

really shouldn't be praying in of others if you're praying alone then

that's gonna keep our hearts right right that's gonna keep our motives right

that's gonna keep our desires in the right place to see God the Father

glorified to see Jesus Christ released in the earth to do the things that he

wants to do and accomplish so when you pray don't be like the hypocrites Jesus

call them hypocrites who love to pray publicly on the street corners and in

the synagogues where everyone can see them I tell you that's all the reward

they'll ever get verse six but when you pray go away by yourself shut the door

behind you and pray to your father in private then your father who sees

everything will reward you now Jesus was the model of this so in navigating life

we pray we understand that we have relationship with God and we need to get

alone by ourselves there again is that quiet place there again is the shutting

off of the things that are distracting to us and it says that Jesus did this in

Matthew chapter 14 verse 23 after sending them home he went up into the

hills by himself to pray night fell while he was there alone so take some

time to be with God the father takes some time to be with the Lord Jesus

Christ alone now we see this he went up at night by himself to pray

look at the next passage if you're following along on you version mark

chapter 1 verse 35 says before daybreak the next morning Jesus got up and went

out to an isolated place to pray so there were times that he prayed alone at

night there were times that he prayed early in

the morning find a time that works for you sometimes you know we always like to

hear we hear different preachers talk and teach about prayer and give God the

you know the first part of your day there's something to that I believe but

there's also depends on your schedule make sure you're setting time is

with him sometime don't be under condemnation if it's not five o'clock in

the morning and you're gay you know you go to bed at 2 or 3 o'clock in the

morning and to get up at 5 to have an hour hour of prayer with God in the

morning cuz some preacher says you have to pray in the morning well Jesus prayed

at night and Jesus prayed in the morning so you pray when you can Amen just take

time and make sure it's a it's a place where you're quiet it's a place where

you're by yourself it's a place where there aren't any distractions you can

listen to him that's how we're gonna navigate life then we pray that his will

be accomplished remember when Jesus said pray father thy will be done in earth as

it is in heaven and so we pray out his will now this is a very sensitive topic

this is a big topic in the body of Christ today the will of God well

sometimes people just like to throw out this phrase well you just never know

what God is gonna do or sometimes you hear people say this well God is

sovereign and so it pulls us back from any kind of responsibility because God

is sovereign and God will do and can do and wants to do anything he wants to do

and we don't really know what he's gonna do we're just kind of here in the dark

and and God just does whatever he wants to do sometimes he wants to heal people

and sometimes he doesn't sometimes he wants to intervene into people's lives

and and sometimes he doesn't there again I think what we see in that theology is

a theology based on experience rather than based on the Word of God

so let's come on back to the word let's come on back and see what the Bible says

about the will of God about the plans and purposes of God especially if

someone were to say well you just never know what God is gonna do and a lot of

times they'll quote this scripture 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verses 9 through

12 and a lot of times they'll start with verse 9 it says no eye has seen no ear

has heard and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him

and a lot of times people will stop there can I tell you one of the safest

things you can do and reading the Word of God is read passages above and

passages below any scripture that you think I've got a brand new revelation

here or yeah that's what the word says you know I has seen no ear has heard no

mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him so we really

don't ever know what God is gonna do people stop at that verse but I know

you've all because I just said that probably read verse 10 already so I

already let the cat out of the bag so to speak what does verse 10 say but

everybody say but but it was to God or was to us that God did what revealed did

you know that God is a revealer hey men God is a revealer but it was to us that

God revealed these things by his Spirit for his spirit searches out everything

and shows us God's deep secrets doesn't David reveal something about Moses in

the book of psalms david says something about moses he says Moses knew the ways

of God but the children of Israel only knew his acts Moses knew God's ways why

didn't notice Moses know God's ways because Moses spent time in the presence

of God Moses spent time remember in the tabernacle he'd gone to the tabernacle

and and then what I think is really exciting is Joshua would stay there when

Moses went back into the camp and Joshua hung out in the presence of God

so Moses knew the ways of God because he spent time in his presence you can know

the ways of God as you spend time in the presence of God you can know his ways

you can know his will you can know the secret things of God he can reveal

things to you it's in those places of quiet that we begin to grow there's a

lot of times Christians aren't maturing because they're not taking the time to

sit in the press of God to study the word to pray and to

get quiet and let God say you know that attitude that you have there really

stinks how many know that causes us to grow doesn't it as we go ouch you know

what you did there last week that was really bad you know sometimes sometimes

God uses people and I think this is my opinion I think he'll try to get our

attention in the private in our time in the word and our time in prayer he'll

try to get our attention there if it doesn't work there he may try a preacher

it might not be me necessarily is your pastor it might be somebody else maybe

you're listening to somebody teach the word maybe you're you're watching a

television program you're listening to a podcast whatever it is he'll try to get

some what he loves us so much he'll try to get things across to us but sometimes

we're hard-headed and sometimes were stubborn and sometimes we don't listen

and then we get into trouble and then then we call out to God and then we're

listening you know God's always talking we're not always listening God wants to

talk we've got to have these times of quiet so for people to say well no eye

has seen no ear has heard no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those

who love him and if you were to stop there you're missing the completeness of

God's revelation in the word because verse 10 says God has revealed these

things by his Spirit verse 11 no one can know a person's thoughts except the

person's own spirit and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own spirit

and we have received God's Spirit so you have the Spirit of God on the inside of

you you can know how does it want us to live in darkness God doesn't want us to

live in confusion God doesn't want us to live in hopelessness he wants us to know

look at your neighbor and say God wants you to know now ask are you listening

that's the part see if God's going to talk we've got to listen if we want to

hear we've got to give him space to talk thus prayer what do you do with the

words okay so people saying well you just never know what God is gonna do or

God is sovereign and God can just do anything he wants let me give you a key

to that statement God will God is sovereign I do not deny that God is

sovereign but God is sovereign has placed his

sovereignty within the confines of his word

so he'll reveal in his word the things he wants to do he doesn't just he's not

schizophrenic he doesn't just do anything he wants whenever he wants and

sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad because that's what some Christians

think you know God just allowed all these things to come into my life to

teach you a lesson and to help me to grow and God God is behind everything

know what you're missing is there is an enemy who wants to see your life

defeated there's an enemy who wants to see your life destroyed and if we don't

take time to pray and get in the presence of God so we're hearing from

our Father so he's downloading things into our life not from what the world is

saying not from what well-meaning Christians are saying but what does the

word say what is the Spirit of God saying to us so for people to stop at

well you just never know what God is gonna do you have to read verse 10 11

and 12 God has revealed these things to us by his Spirit what do you do with the

words of Jesus when Jesus said he who has seen me has seen the father did

Jesus do bad things to people you read Matthew Mark Luke and John Jesus never

did one bad thing to one person and yet somehow in our mind God is behind

allowing car accidents and God is allowing sickness and disease and God is

allowing when Jesus came to this earth he did exactly the opposite and he said

he that is seeing me has seen the father and so

when you are confronted with those kinds of comments and those kinds of

statements you need to take a stand and say no that's not God I'm sorry you

think that about God but let me give you a quick little description god is good

the devil is evil it's very simple God is good

the devil is evil and Jesus introduced the devil behind the works of evil when

he came because Jesus was giving us authority over him so we wouldn't have

to be under his authority any longer we through Christ can now begin to exercise

authority so for people to say well god is just sovereign and he just allows

this and allows that and and and and wants to teach me a lesson so he allowed

this car accident to happen or he allowed me to be put in the hospital I

got to witness two people but the Holy Ghost can lead you to witness two people

without being in the hospital Amen if you and I are sensitive to the Holy

Ghost you can you can be a witness you could be driving by a hospital and the

Holy Ghost will say pull in there I want you to go talk to somebody okay Lord

will do that and you go talk to somebody and you just walk up a walk up a

hospital a hallway and you'll see somebody and the Lord will lead you to

the right person to start talking to about Jesus you don't have to be in a

bed in the hospital room to witness to somebody now thank God if you do that

but God doesn't say well I'm gonna make this person have an accident because I

know that it while they're in the hospital they're gonna witness the susi

he can bring a laborer across Susie's path without sending you in an ambulance

amen all right so what do you do with the words of Jesus when he said he who

has seen me has seen the father what do you do with Hebrews chapter 11 verse one

two three I'm sorry I always do that because I put

the ones together Hebrews one verse one okay what do you do with Hebrews 1:1

long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the

prophets and now in these final days he has spoken to us how through his son

God promised everything to the Sun as an inheritance and through the Sun he

created the universe the Sun radiates God's own glory and

expresses the very character of God what does it say the Sun radiates God's own

glory Jesus said he who has seen me has seen the father the Sun radiates God's

own glory and expresses the very character of God so when we see the way

Jesus touched people in the way that Jesus walked the earth and the way that

Jesus ministered to people we see God well you never know what God is gonna do

yes you do look at the life of Christ study the life of Christ oh we just got

finished talking about the life of Christ in in our Bible school the book

of John talked about the life of Christ and the more I read the more I'm like I

just want hours just to sit and to read and to learn and and just to spend time

in his presence John wrote in the book of John towards the end there he said

these things you have been given are written down many many miracles that

Jesus did many many things that he did but if if we tried to write them all

down all the books of the world the libraries of the world wouldn't be able

to contain it all but these have been written so you could believe look at the

life of Christ and you'll see God and it'll help it'll help the dust it'll

help the confusion it'll help the things that try to come against us at different

times in our life and we're god is saying the thoughts are saying well god

is mad at you God is giving you back for what you did there's there's some folks

who really believe that they believe that they can't step into a place of

ministry in the church because of what they did in the past but they think

they're being punished for something God is punishing you because of what you did

God doesn't punish me

amen you know I think I've read this here recently but let me read it again

maybe you were here maybe you weren't maybe you just need to hear it again

I've been reading Psalms and Psalm 107 some 107 pick up with verse 17 Psalm 107

and verse 17 I love this because this talks about us this talks about human

beings you know people people always like to say that the Bible's not

relevant but the Bible is relevant the Bible you know it's 2,000 years old or

older and how relevant can it be is just like a history book now the word the

Bible says in the book of Hebrews chapter 4 that the Word of God is living

and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword

so it's alive and so what does it say Psalm 107 verse 17 says fools because of

their transgression and because of their iniquity were afflicted okay so they got

out of the will of God they got out from under his protection you can look it

over and over and over see it over and over and over the different times when

they disobeyed God and things would happen because they got out from under

his protection and the moment they repented and the moment they turned back

to him the moment they said oh God forgive us he was there and His mercy

and His grace to help him over and over and over again and so here it says these

fools because of their transgression and because of their iniquities were

afflicted their soul abhorred all manner of food they drew near to the gates of

death then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and he kicked him to the

side of the road and said go to hell you are just a bunch of lowlifes oh is that

what that says there I'm just waking making sure this you're all awake okay

then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and he said no no no you you

have to suffer a little bit longer you haven't learned your lesson yet you have

to go through the school of hard knocks no that's not scriptural fools go

through the school of hard knocks eyes people can learn by being

instructed if you're not going to learn by being instructed then you're gonna

have some hard times but that's not because of God it's because of your own

hardheadedness amen so it says their soul abhorred all manner of food and

they drew near to the gates of death then they cried out to the Lord in their

trouble and he saved them they got themselves into trouble they were

afflicted but as soon as they called out to him he helped him that's the mercy of

God he saved them out of their distress as what does it say he sent His Word and

healed them and delivered them from their destructions oh that men would

give thanks to the Lord for his goodness and his wonderful works to the children

of men let them sacrifice the sacrifices of Thanksgiving and declare his works

with rejoicing so you might be here today and you might say I made a mess

God is mad at me I made a mess I just have to pay the penalty of my mistakes

listen I've got good news for you there's a place in God

that's called mercy there's a place in him that you may have done some things

to get yourself into some circumstances in situations and if you'll begin to

call out you'll begin to repent if you'll begin to call and say lord I blew

it forgive me you watch what God will do

he'll begin to turn that situation around you don't have to live the rest

of your life thinking I can never do anything for God because I did this

that's what the devil wants you to think he wants you to think that he wants you

to think you can never do anything for God because you did this whatever it is

you fill in the blank because we all have different thoughts and different

failures in different sin and different things that maybe we've done in our

lives and the devil comes he's called the accuser of the Brethren he'll come

and he'll accuse he'll come and he'll try to get you to focus on what you did

wrong and hold you in that place but if you'll admit it to God you'll say lord I

blew it I did that wrong I shouldn't have done that I'm calling out to you

help me Lord what does this say and I don't think this is in your notes but go

to Hebrews I'm getting off my nose but Hebrews will

stop here in just a moment Hebrews chapter 4 verse 16 look at

Hebrews chapter 4 verse 16 let us therefore come boldly to the stronger

now why can we come to the throne of grace let's back up to verse 14 I think

this is important why can we come boldly to the throne of grace why can we come

into his presence how do we have access in navigating life in the place of

Prayer maybe maybe this should have been first

seeing then that we have a great high priest who has passed through the

heavens Jesus the Son of God let us hold fast our confession for we do not have a

high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses but was in all points

tempted as we are yet without sin so it's through Christ that we come he

understands the temptation he understands the failures that we've had

he never sinned but he had the same temptations that we did do so we can go

to him or through him to the Father because of his sacrifice so you don't

have to say well I did this wrong or I did that wrong I can never serve God

anymore I can never step into this place of ministry that God is calling me to I

have this sense I have this desire that God wants me to do but I can't do it

because I'm of this no the scripture says you come through Christ you come

through the forgiveness of the blood of Christ that's brought to us and his

death his burial his resurrection and it says in verse 16 because of that let us

come boldly to the throne of grace that we might we might or may obtain mercy

and find grace to help in time of need wow so the devil beating you up it's a

devil reminding you of your mistakes and your failures in the past and saying you

can't you can't you can't just hide in a chair somewhere in the back row and

don't worry if you're sitting in the back row I'm not thinking that you did

something wrong maybe that's what the devil is telling

you you could be sitting in one of the front rows and then the devil might be

telling you the same thing God has a good plan and a good purpose for our

lives amen but we've got to learn to navigate the things that happen in life

and the circumstances in the situations and navigate how are we going to

navigate by spending time in his presence by getting to know God as our

Father the next one is going to be talking about the busyness of life but

you know what I think we'll pick up on that next week let's all stay on Charles

and worship team won't you come on up and let's pray prayer partners if you're

here this morning why don't you come on forward and and we just want to

encourage folks as we close out this service take a moment to quiet your

hearts and quiet your mind father I just thank you for each and every person

that's here this morning thank you father you said when we pray

thank you Father we can get to know you as our Father thank you Father we can

pull away and we can take time to pray alone we could spend time in your

presence we can pray out your will we can hear your will we can be guided and

directed by your will in the earth thank you Father

I thank you for what Jesus said in the book of John chapter 15 verses 7 and 8

but if you remain in me and my words remain in you you may ask for anything

you want and it will be granted when you produce much fruit you are my true

disciples this brings great glory to my father Wow

God wants to answer your prayer we have to pray according to his will we have to

know his will in order to pray as well it's right there in your hand the Bible

spend most of your time in the New Testament spend most of your time when

you're reading the Word of God you get to know him through Jesus and watch what

he'll say watch with a lead and watch how he'll guide and direct you through

life father I just thank you for our time together this morning thank you for

every place that you have for us in you in that relationship with you as our

Father thank you lord for touching every heart every life and

helping us navigate life through this thing sometimes people refer to as

prayer it's not something mysterious it's not something unattainable it's

simply time with you communicating with you being in your presence

turning off the phone's turning off the electronic devices and distractions and

maybe even just going back to paper Bibles and reading the word and sitting

and quiet and listening letting you speak to our hearts thank you for that

refreshing that comes father thank you for every person here every person

watching every person listening today Lord that as they pull away as they set

aside time and your presence I thank you for the answers that come and the wisdom

that comes and the guidance that comes Lord we even thank you for correction

because you have our best interest at heart and mind you you desire to lead us

and to guide us you have a good plan and a good purpose for each and every one of

us and so we thank you for speaking and ministering in helping us navigate life

as we sit in your presence

Judd Apatow slams first lady Melania Trump, Fox News, CNN - Duration: 3:17.

Filmmaker Judd Apatow slammed first lady Melania Trump and President Trump after the first lady wore a jacket that said, "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" on her way to visit a Texas detention center housing immigrant children

Apatow slammed the Trumps, Fox News and CNN on Twitter between Thursday and Friday

Apatow called wearing the jacket "heartless." He wrote, "What kind of heartless person wears that jacket ? People are suffering

Your fashion bulls**t I could care less slogan isn't really about caring about kids

Remember when you said that was your highest priority? Is this the lesson you want to teach them? Who are you? Really

"He also compared the Trumps to Rupert Murdoch and said that they do not care about humanity

Apatow criticized the response of the first lady's spokesperson, who asked reporters not to focus on her fashion choice, posting "I am gonna visit kids in baby prisons and wear a shirt that says 'f*** off babies

' I wonder if anyone will ask me about it."The "Knocked Up" director, who has been consistently critical of Fox News, continued his campaign against the news network after "Fox & Friends" host Brian Kilmeade said on air of migrant children, "These aren't our kids

Show them compassion, but it's not like he is doing this to the people of Idaho or Texas

"Apatow responded, "Evil f***ers. And all of you who work for Fox in any capacity need to speak up if you can

This is barbaric. Notice how not one Fox executive has spoken up

Ask them for their opinions! Ask them!@FoxNews is evil and is supporting child prisons and racism

You ok with that?" He also referred to James and Lachlan Murdoch as "evil people

" But the filmmaker also lashed out at CNN. After former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski appeared on CNN, Apatow accused them of being ratings-hungry

"This is why @cnn is also so dangerous," he tweeted. "They love the war— the drama is good for ratings so they have on people with no insight who are there to create entertainment filled tension

Inform people. That's it. We don't need evil people on defending evil policies for ratings

"Apatow is one of many celebrities who expressed outrage on social media after news broke that nearly 2,000 immigrant children were taken away from their parents since the Trump administration enforced a "zero tolerance" policy on people crossing the border

Since then, Mr. Trump signed an executive order that will keep children and their parents together for the 20 days they are detained, but it is only a temporary fix

Destiny 2: More Exotic Armor Buffs In Update 1.2.3 (& My Thoughts) - Duration: 10:57.

Hey guys, so Bungie just dropped another big batch of plans for exotic armor buffs slated

for update 1.2.3 and I figure I'd just give some input on this instead of being bombarded

during streams about it.

It'll happen anyway, I get it.

Lucky Raspberry is up first.

Currently, it gives you...

some sort of a chance to automatically refresh your arc bolt grenade.

Generally speaking, if you're hitting a lot of targets, you're likely to get it back 1

or 2 times.

But, it's just totally random and if you don't get it to proc, you're out of luck.

The buffs coming are the following: 1) increased chance to refresh arc bolt on arc bolt hits

and 2) guarantees a recharge if you hit 4 targets with a single arc bolt.

This is a pretty solid buff for Arcstrider's neutral game, especially for PvP, although

I don't think Arcstriders necessarily need any help in the PvP department at the moment.

This makes it a bit more controllable, a little more skill based, which is good, although

in group play, I still feel like the odds of you tagging 4 enemies frequently isn't

terribly high.

Unfortunately, I don't see this getting much play in PvE still, mainly because Raiden Flux

is so overly strong that I think it'll be the staple Arcstrider exotic armor piece until

we get a new Destiny or they come out with something even more broken than Raiden Flux.

But, with Arc Bolt bring so strong in PvP, one refresh can be the difference between

winning and losing a round.\par Next, we have the Stompies, where the buff

is getting spread to strafe and triple jump now.

I do not know many people using higher jump, Bungie claims they're getting good use, so

what do I know, but having the benefits spread out to all jumps instead of just one, that's

fine with me.

Is that buff going to be enough to topple the dominance of Wormhusk Crown in PvP?

Ehh, I think it depends on how the buff ends up interacting with those jumps, but it is

really hard to beat instant health regeneration every 15-20 seconds or so.

Young Ahamkara's Spine is next, not getting the buff that people were hoping for, where

it would get 2 grenades, but rather: they removed the marking functionality, improved

the blast radius and throw speed, made them harder to destroy and solar ability hits will

grant grenade energy.

Interesting.

Certainly seems like a more potent effect for PvP, although the "hits with solar abilities"

might not come into play as much as you think, unless you're a master of chaining knife headshots.

If you're a wizard with the tripmine, then I think you'd like this, but again, you need

to go up against Wormhusk and now these improved stompies.

Tripmine is GOOD in PvP though, maybe these will get some use, but I'm not jumping for

joy just yet.

Improved blast radius might go a little under the radar though

Overall, I don't think any of these buffs does anything significant to the hunter exotic

meta for PvE at all, Hunters have really, really good PvE exotics already in Nighthawk,

Flux and Rigs.

If you were using stompies before, you'll probably still be using them and I think Spine

will get some people messing with it before they ultimately go back to Wormhusk.

Raspberry vs. Husk... tough call.\par Titans, you're next.

ACD/0 Feedback Fence is getting buffed, although I know it is currently a very potent PvP exotic

at the moment since it actually got fixed a while back.

Fury Conductor starts stacking on melee hits instead of kills now and give you stacking

damage resistance.

So this SEEMS like way more of a PvE buff than a PvP one, but Feedback Fence is actually

pretty strong right now in PvP and this buff makes them even better.

These were basically only good against the weakest of enemies and even then, they were

not very good.

Now, you can get a little more aggressive against stronger enemies, BUT it's just melee

damage resistance, so more for Knights, Wretches and Gladiators, not saving you against shotguns.

In PvP, you're punished hard for attacking someone with these gloves on, now they're

going to have an even greater edge.

Doomfang Pauldrons, this is one I'm excited about.

Void melee kills now grant more super energy and shield throw HITS will extend the duration

of your super, THANK YOU.

This is the buff that Doomfangs needed to maybe bring Sentinel back into the limelight

a bit.

Sentinel is the weakest PvE subclass right now for Titans and probably overall too and

that's because of a lack of a really top tier exotic for them.

Sunbreaker Titans are masters for damage, they're versatile in the raids for add clear

or boss damage, Striker Titans aren't too bad either, but Sentinel just wasn't doing

much for me.

With every strong, add-clearing super being able to extend their super in some way, Sentinel

was left behind.

This might bring some of that Captain America fantasy back to Sentinel.\par

Dunemarchers, that thing no one uses, is getting its main perk boosted.

It'll only take 1.5 seconds to activate linear actuators instead of FIVE, and the chain lightning

effect has been boosted by 70% in PvP and 440% in PvE.

Excited to see how it turns out, see if we can have some fun with this, but at the moment,

it's all just numbers.

Need to see it in action.

But it'll certainly make them less garbage.\par Again, I don't think the meta shifts too much

here either.

I think the Doomfang buff is really good and might get people into actually using Sentinel

in raids again, even if just for fun.

Sunbreaker is just way too strong not to pick for raids.

It'll make picking Sentinel feel less bad for those void singe days too.

Dunemarchers is tough to tell, might make for some funny moments, but it'll likely stay

niche unless the damage is truly insane.

Warlocks, your turn.

Crown of Tempests is up first.

First, it'll no longer need to be stacked to 5 for maximum effect, they're lowering

the max stacks to 3, but giving the 3 stack the same potency as the 5 stack.

Next, it'll lower the upkeep cost of Stormtrance, meaning you'll use less energy when it's stacked

up.

I love this buff for Stormcallers.

In PvP, Stormtrance is not too bad, but in PvE, it has been taken over by Dawnblade's

bottom tree in my experience.

Stormtrance doesn't last long enough for the damage it ends up doing and I think Dawnblade

does the job better for add clear.

Now, with this buff, it'll hopefully last a bit longer, justifying the sort of low damage

on it.

This will also buff its PvP capabilities.\par Karnstein Armlets are getting changed AGAIN,

where now what they'll do is instantly heal you and then give continuous healing for 8

seconds when you get a melee kill.

This sounds pretty good for PvP, look at the all the frustration with Wormhusk for Hunters.

Granted, you won't be melee killing as much as Hunter dodging.

My guess for the rate of continuous healing would be at the rate that you heal in a healing

rift and if that's the case, you won't be completely unkillable, but if you play your

engagements right, you'll have a big advantage for sure.

You need to go up against Ophidian Aspect though, and both Void and Solar Warlocks already

have some form of health regen in their kits.

Starfire Protocol is changed, to where you now get fusion grenade energy when you hit

with your weapon in an empowering rift.

Sounds interesting, but I need to know if there are any internal cooldowns or anything

like that, how fast you'd be able to spam grenades, if it's worth doing or not, and

all of that.

Not to mention you'll probably need to have another Warlock using Lunafaction Boots since

those boots are now probably the strongest raid exotic across all classes.

I think the Crown of Tempest buff will push Stormcallers in PvE a bit farther than they

used to get, which is good because I miss using Stormcaller.

I think Dawnblade is just crazy good and Voidwalker's been getting some use too with all of the

Tractor Cannon shenanigans going on, Storm just got left behind.

I don't like that Storm is probably only going to feel good with Crown of Tempests on, but

STORYTIME| I Met Amy Roloff on an Elevator! [CC] - Duration: 5:08.

My name is Cheyenne, and welcome to my channel!

Thought I'd change it up a little and do a bit

of a storytime.

Now, of you have scrolled through my channel, or

if you remember when I first started my channel, if I knew you at the time.

Whetever. You *stutters* might remember

That my first video was called "Colorado Vlog." I did not

film or talk about , like, why I was there

which was for the Little People of America convention

[whispering] If you've never met me, if you've never watched my videos,

I have dwarfism. I'm only 3 ft. tall.

[back to normal volume] So, I go to this convention.

And I'm just there to meet people

and...I don't know...

But, I'm not expecting to see anyone famous

But, I did!

[intro music]

[?]

So, we are staying in a different hotel

I will take my scooter with one of my parents, or

all of my -- everybody that came-- which was my parents and my sister.

and...we would go back and forth from our hotel to that hotel.

But, we went over there, and I don't remember what we were looking for,

or if I was just over there for fun at that time.

Some of the events were on the main floor,

and some of them were in, like, the basement area.

...and...so...

I had to go down to that basement for whatever reason.

So, my parents dropped me off

and then they went to go

tour Denver.

And, so, I get on the elevator

and I see this person, and I'm like,

"That can't be them." I'm like,

"This looks like Amy Roloff."

But I don't wanna be that person

that assumes that they are Amy Roloff and they're not.

But I also don't wanna be, like, "that fangirl."

So, I'm, like, trying to figure out how to figure out if this is actually her, or just someone who looks a lot like her.

And then [giggles]

Right about the moment I'm trying to figure that out,

She turns around and says, "Hey!

I'm Amy! What's your name?" And I'm like, wait...

[giggles] [?] And I, of course,

Kept my cool [makes ehh noise] I did good. And I'm like yeah "my name is Cheyenne,

nice to meet you!" And

And it was, like, just so casual, and

I met Amy Roloff in an elevator, and

uh...so....

[giggles]

And, I'm not a huge fan of shows that overdramatize things.

So while I have a huge respect

for the Roloff family and anybody, especially,

that has something that makes them

"different" from

mainstream media people.

If they have their own "reality" show, whether I like it or not, I do have a huge respect for them

for doing that, and trying to get representation out there.

[giggling] I get off the elevator and the first

thing I do once I make sure

that I am no longer

in her vicinity

I'm like, texting my dad,

I'm like, um dad, I just [laughs] "What?!"

It was just so [giggles] out of the blue

Um...ok then!

[makes strange noise]

[laughs] It was absolute awesomeness, so yeah! That is

how I managed to meet Amy Roloff.

In an elevator of a hotel in Denver.

Hope you liked my video, uh... if you did, please give this a thumbs up.

I can definitely do more story times

if this is something you guys like, and...

I can do that. And I have

definitely had my fair share of stories I could tell. I will talk to you later!

Bye, guys!

World Cup's "S..e...x..i...e...s...t Fan" Identified As Russian P...o---r.....n Star - Duration: 2:59.

World Cup's "Sexiest Fan" Identified As Russian Porn Star

In Russias opening match against Saudi Arabia at the 2018 World Cup, a blonde Russian supporter was spotted in the crowd and quickly dubbed the "hottest World Cup fan" by media and fans around the globe.

According to the New York Post, the tournaments sexiest fan is actually Russian porn star Natalya Nemchinova.

The Post reports, online detectives quickly discovered she was an adult film actress — after zooming in on her Fan ID ahead of Russia's match against Egypt on Tuesday night.

In addition to starring in several adult films, Nemchinova was reportedly crowned Miss Moscow in 2007 and has been seen at some of Russias other international matchups, including during Euro 2016 in France.

Via The New York Post:.

They then discovered she has appeared in X-rated movies under such aliases as Natali Nemtchinova, Natalia Andreeva, Delilah G, Danica, Amanda, Asya and Annabell.

Adult websites describe her as an "uninhibited" model and a star of swinger parties who has appeared in photo shoots, and both soft and hardcore movies since her X-rated debut in 2016.

Russia has already advanced out of the Group Stage in the World Cup, having won both of their games with an impressive goal differential of +7.

The squad will face their toughest test of the tournament on Monday, when they take on Uruguay, also 2-0, in the Group A finale.

Boho Summer Clothing Haul! Lizard Thicket + Francesca's! - Duration: 3:55.

hey guys welcome back to my channel so today I'm so excited because I'm gonna

be doing a summer outfit haul I bought all these clothes from Lizard thicket and Francesca's

I'll have their website linked down below with all the clothing items linked

as well so let's go ahead and get on into this video but before we do don't

forget to hit that subscribe and like button down below also there's a little

notification bell but if you hit that you'll be notified when I post new

videos so with that being said let's get on into it the first outfit is this pink

jumpsuit that I think is absolutely adorable I laid my eyes on it in the

store and I was like I've got to have that that is so so pretty I love the

pastel pink I think it's just so light and airy and perfect for like a summer

wedding I love the buttons down the front it also has a halter tie back neck

and an open back as well it has a little bit of cinching right here so it just

looks really delicate and nice on the back this was 40 to 50 and I got a size

small I wish I would have gotten a medium just so it would be a little

longer on my legs I'm 5'10 and so I'm pretty tall so if you

are a little bit taller like I am I would go for a bigger size and then they

have these little shorts underneath the lineage so it's not see-through in this

area I wish they would have brought it all the way down the pant like I know

they're trying to make it loose and airy but I don't know for some reason I feel

like this just doesn't look very nice when it's just cut off right there it

kind of makes it look I don't know it's just not my favorite look overall I

absolutely love the outfit and I think it's perfect for summertime I love this

bracelet so so much it has the pinks and the golds in it it's beautiful and it

pairs so nicely with all of the outfits that I picked up so I'll have this

linked down below as well for the second outfit I picked up this beautiful

Paisley yellow and white tank top I just think this is so so cute it has ruffles

at the top and on the bottom and then it has these little ties right here that

you can cinch in really tight to accentuate your waist this is just so

light and airy perfect for summer and to pair with that I got this

beautiful pink Mavi skirt I think it is so pretty it has the button detailing

down the sides and I think you can wear it down the side or you can wear it in

the middle like that I liked it on the side a little bit better but I just

think this is so so cute it goes down to about finger length so it's a little bit

shorter than I would normally wear but it wasn't too short so I thought that

was super cute again it's perfect for like a nice Airy summer wedding if you

want to be cool but still cute I paired it with the bracelet again and then some

really really cute flats they're almost like a leafy kind of metallic material

that I think are adorable I love the little toe right here and then it wraps

around the ankle it makes it just look really delicate and dainty and I thought

the colors paired perfectly together and for the third outfit I have this blue

linen top it's this dark blue linen top that I'm wearing right now has these

little ruffles right here and then in the back it has ruffles as well and a

little peephole which i think is so cute and then I just paired it with these

basic white denim jeans they have little frillies on the bottom that I'm obsessed

with so definitely go check out lizard thicket I absolutely love all the

clothes I picked up I hope you guys enjoyed this video leave it in the

comments down below if you have any other video ideas for me I love getting

new ones so I hope you guys enjoyed it and I'll see you next time

I just wanna hold you I just wanna love kids

DoomRL Arsenal and Main UAC Hangar [Combined Doom mods] - Duration: 10:48.

This video shows Zanieon's Doom map, Main UAC Hangar, being played by RiboZurai. He used Yholl's mod

Doom Roguelike Arsenal (DRLA) to explore it.

Main UAC Hangar is this beautiful map you are watching here, while DRLA is a PWAD that adapts,

as much as possible, DoomRL in the Doom's traditional first-person shooter scheme.

Both WADs have already been featured in Gaming Room and you can get more details on

their respective videos and posts.

I had to take out the audio from some parts of the videos due to f*cking copyright, but Zanieon said that he

released a new version without the songs that trigger it now.

I thought RiboZurai played this match very well. Also, he really likes DoomRL Arsenal. It was with good will.

If I remember correctly, this was one of the first, if not the first time he played Main UAC Hangar.

I asked his considerations about these WADs combined and he replied, "Play it or kill yourself."

I think that means he liked it.

As always, you can get more information and links to download the mods in the video's description.

Used versions: DRLA - [1.05] [MP-B6.2] and Main UAC Hangar - Demo 2.

Celebs Who Were Wasted On Live - Duration: 8:00.

Most of us have had a few rough nights we'd rather forget.

But imagine if one of "those nights" played out in real time, for the whole world: the

slurring and stumbling, the fumbling flirtations, and the incoherent proclamations.

Though it sounds like a scenario straight out of hell, a few unlucky celebs have suffered

this scene in real life.

Here are some stars who appeared to be totally drunk on live TV.

Mark Wahlberg

There's "Good Vibrations," and then there's…whatever's going on with Mark Wahlberg here.

"Why would you allow people to drink alcohol and come on a show"

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in 2013, Wahlberg did his best to promote

his film Broken City and ended up fondling Norton in the process.

"That's wrong...don't touch the man there"

Wahlberg told Digital Spy the whole thing was a pre-planned prank, saying,

"Sarah Silverman and I talked about doing something funny...tried to do a bit, and some

people took it a little too seriously."

In 2017, Norton recounted the interview on This Morning with Phillip and Holly.

He revealed they literally "couldn't get any stories going" because Wahlberg kept interrupting

everybody.

At one point, Michael Fassbender finally got through a story from start to finish.

At the time, Norton assumed it must just be a great story, but then he realized Wahlberg

had simply fallen asleep.

Norton said,

"We didn't wake him.

We were delighted.

Good.

We can get on with some of the show"

Courtney Love

It begins, as such stories often do, with Courtney Love hurtling her makeup compact

in the air, and having it whiz past a visibly bristly Madonna.

The year is 1995.

The event is the MTV Video Awards.

Eternally droll TV personality Kurt Loder interviews Madonna, who robotically answers

questions about her life.

Perhaps mercifully, the back-and-forth banter is cut short by Courtney Love's makeup.

"You may say it's a reflection of that, but it's also"

Loder makes the perfect worst choice by inviting the wobbly singer into the interview.

"Come on up!

Should we let her come up?

No don't please.

Come on, Courtney!"

What follows is a fumbled handshake, and the beginning of the most awkward interview ever.

"Look am I?

I'm interrupting...I'm feisty.

I don't mean to like, bum, bum, bum you, I"

Love then spouted a whole lotta nonsense, before someone stepped in and finally rescued

Madonna.

Whew!

Paula Abdul

In January 2007, Paula Abdul made a very out-there appearance on a Seattle TV show that found

her swaying in her seat, and laughing about nothing.

"What do Idol fans have to look forward to this season, and what are you looking forward

to seeing...is that what it is?"

At times, it seemed like there might be some audio delay issues behind the scenes.

Other times, Abdul was apparently receiving transmissions from some distant solar system.

"It's a wild party where you are"

After the clip went viral, a spokesperson for Abdul said everybody was making "much

ado about nothing," according to People.

In a subsequent appearance on The Tonight Show, Abdul told Jay Leno the nutty interview

was part of a chaotic press junket:

"You're in that one little room and you're looking at one camera and there are 30 cities

talking into your ear."

Bill Murray

In May 2015, actor Bill Murray stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman to be their

"next-to-the-last show guest."

After he fell out of a goodbye cake for the host, he sat with Letterman and took shots

from a bottle of Slovenia vodka.

The cake-covered actor then recited cryptic remarks like this:

"you married a virgin who gave birth to an infant god child really"

"I appreciate the sentiment, but one wonders, is it the vodka talking here?"

Following the Letterman appearance, Murray reportedly went out to a celebratory dinner

where he was asked last-minute to appear on MSNBC's The Last Word to discuss Letterman's

reign on The Late Show.

But by that point, he was really in his cups:

"Do you mind if we finish talking about Elizabeth Warren?

Elizabeth Warren?

Get to that now"

Everything went next-level loopy, with Murray spectacularly falling out of a chair and slurring

up a storm.

"He's just so, he just floats above everything.

He's really in a different plane than the rest of us right now"

Tracy Morgan

In 2007, former 30 Rock actor Tracy Morgan pitted himself against a Texas morning show

and the morning show lost.

Morgan became transfixed on his own image in the monitor, at one point, saying,

"Ooh, I look good.

… I am handsome!

Now I can see why I've got so many kids."

He also repeatedly smacked his belly, insisting it was his "mating call."

"That's right.

I don't have what LL got.

I don't have biscuits, I got a loaf of bread.

Come get this, ladies, you gonna eat"

But Morgan pointed out to the What's So Funny podcast in 2011 that he's, you know, an actor:

"I wasn't drunk.

People are idiots.

[…] They like to just say things on the internet.

They weren't there."

Steve-O

During a 2005 appearance on The Adam Carolla Show, professional loon Steve-O of Jackass

and Wildboyz fame was admittedly drunk, and allegedly tried to make out with Carolla.

"Steve-O is in his dressing room getting drunk"

"That is no act.

He is loaded.

He tried to kiss me with his tongue 10 minutes ago."

Carolla does his best to spin the appearance in a humorous vein, but the segment remained

intensely uncomfortable from start to finish.

One minute Steve-O is praising the host...

"I love you so hard.

I love Adam Carolla so hard"

...and the next, he's threatening to strangle him.

"I'm about to strangle you out of your own consciousness.

I thought you loved me.

I will kill you"

After a commercial break, Steve-O is gone in the literal sense, and Carolla announces

that Steve-O:

"Got a little out of hand, cut his foot, and needed to be restrained and taken backstage."

The next morning, Steve-O told the New York Post,

"I just woke up with no recollection of taping Adam's show.

Wow.

I can't help being more proud of myself."

But after Steve-O threatened to take his own life, Johnny Knoxville staged an intervention

in 2008.

According to People, in March 2018, Steve-O celebrated ten years of sobriety.

Kanye West

Stop us if you've heard this one, but in 2009, Taylor Swift accepted the award for Best Female

Video at the MTV VMA's for "You Belong To Me," saying,

"I sing country music, so thank you so much for giving me a chance to win a VMA award!"

But her speech was then interrupted by a seemingly drunk Kanye West.

As boos rang out, West announced Beyoncé should've won the award for "Single Ladies".

"But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!"

West was subsequently escorted out of Radio City Music Hall.

In a now-deleted blog, he wrote, after the show,

"I'm sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom."

Commenting on the incident in 2013, West told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM morning show,

"I would not want some crazy drunk rock star cutting off my daughter.

But my daughter would 100 percent also be like, 'Yes, Beyoncé did have the best video.'"

Anna Nicole Smith

Finally, there's the sad case of late Playboy model and reality star Anna Nicole Smith,

who in 2004 graced the American Music Awards with her unique brand of theatricality.

She sashayed up to the podium and slurred through her introduction for Kanye West.

"I was honored to be in our next performer's new video"

Visibly out of sorts, she stumbled, mugged for the cameras, and even groped herself.

But the story behind the bizarre public appearance is heartbreaking rather than funny.

On the 10th anniversary of Smith's death, her ex-partner, Larry Birkhead, told Wendy

Williams that breast enhancement surgery caused Smith to suffer chronic back pain among other

serious ailments, adding,

"The night before she did that award show, she actually suffered like two seizures."

Birkhead said Smith was taking prescribed medication, but that he wouldn't be surprised

if she'd been abusing it.

In 2007, Smith passed away from an accidental overdose, at 39.

What can you see looking at the world around you?

What can you see looking at birds? What can you see watching plants?

What can you see looking at animals?

What's interesting about Jesus is that He, pointing at the world created, He saw it, brought it out

showing to all who listened to Him, such a natural turning to God, natural openness.

We often tend to think, and the devil tells it to us, faith is something terribly complicated.

That's a lie, a devil's lie.

Well, faith, i.e. holding on to our Creator, our God, is the most natural thing in the world.

And from every natural "creature" of this world, we can learn this naturalness,

openness and holding on to God who is the source of life.

Jewelry Making Tutorial: How To Make A Stamped Name Bracelet - Duration: 12:35.

To make the bracelet, you need a metal blank that has holes on either end. Ours

is six millimeters by 35 millimeters. You need metal alphabet stamps. These are

three millimeters. You'll need two silk cording pieces. Ours are six inches long

each. Silver wire that's twenty-four gauge and a magnet clasp also in silver.

For tools, you'll need a hammer, a jeweler's bench block, wire cutters,

scissors and finally you'll need double stick tape.

To get started we want to explain our setup a little bit here. We've placed our

jeweler's bench block on top of the mousepad

and the reason why you want to do that is the mousepad will help sort of soften

the blow a little bit and it also keeps the jeweler's bench block from sliding

around, which you'll see why that's important in a minute. The next thing we

want to do is take our permanent double sided tape, it doesn't need to be

permanent, but ours is. We're gonna take a piece of double-sided tape and just put

it right across the center of our jewelers block and this is to keep our

metal blank in place because otherwise this metal on metal will just slide

around while you're stamping and that will make you crazy and make the letters

end up all in the wrong spot. So that's gonna hold it in place. Now we're gonna

do a name here and we picked the Kitty's name because it's a cute name and she

deserves a bracelet and I'm gonna make one for me too.

Kitty's name has five letters, so what we're gonna do is start in the very

center of our blank here with her center letter which is a T. If your name is

longer than what will fit here with this three millimeter letter size, you can buy

an alphabet stamp set that has a smaller font. They make them in all

different sizes and fonts. You also could pick a larger blank. So I'm going to

start with the letter T which is her center letter, the center of Kitty K-I-T-T-Y

and I'm just gonna eyeball the center of this. This does not need to be perfect.

That's one of the joys of metal stamping is it has slight imperfections and it

really makes it look hand done.So what I'm going to do is hold my metal

alphabet stamp here in the center of my blank and I've eyeballed where the center

is, but I want to kind of feel to make sure that I'm right over the center and

I'm holding it perpendicular to my blank and what I'm going to do is take my

jeweler's hammer here and I'm going to strike it once, right in the center, then

I'm gonna very gently, without moving the stamp, tip in all in four directions and stamp

each time--or hit strike it with the hammer each time--so I'm gonna go

slightly to the right, slightly toward me, slightly to the left, slightly away from

me. And what that does is make a deeper impression. There's my first letter. And

what I'm going to do now is build out on either side from that centered letter.

The next letter in Kitty's name is another T so this is kind of the

trickiest part is lining up these letters. One thing you can do is draw

yourself a guideline if you'd like with a ruler on your metal blank. If you use a

marker or something you can then just use soap and water or an alcohol or a

nail polish remover pad to remove the ink. We're just gonna eyeball it because

we, we're just going for it. So what I'm going to do is place my stamp right next

to that T kind of feel that I'm centered there from the from the sides and I'm

going to strike just like I did before five times. Once in the center, then I'm

going to tip it in four directions and and hit the hammer on the stamp each

time. So there's a second T. It's slightly tilted but I think that adds a little

level of whimsy. So it doesn't need to be all lined up perfectly. Now we've got our

Y and I'm going to just place my block right next to that last T. One thing you

could do is look at your letter on your stamp and you can kind of learn

to judge how far the letter starts from the top and bottom and from the sides

and that can help you with lining up your letters. Also we think it's a great

idea to do a test. We did several tests before we did this first one on camera.

Now I'm ready to do my Y. I'm going to do the same thing I just did, striking it

five times.

There's my Y and you can see that this is starting to curve up as I'm hammering,

so what I'm going to do is turn it upside down on my metal bench block and

just hammer it a couple times gently just to flatten it back out so that

it'll stay on the tape when I'm doing the rest of the letters. There we go. It's

a little flatter. Now I'm ready to do my I. And one thing I didn't mention it,

it's funny it doesn't matter on the I, but you want to make sure you've got it

facing the right direction. Some of the letters could end up backwards if you do

them upside down. So finally we have the K and the K actually is a good example

of that. You don't want to accidentally do it backwards, so make sure you've got

it facing the way you want it before you place it on your blank. And I'm just

going to strike this five times. Once in the center and then one in each

direction. And there's our K. And I'm going to flip it over and just hammer it

a couple times to re-flatten it. And now we're ready to turn this into a bracelet.

To turn this into a bracelet what we're going to do is attach a piece of our

silk cording to either side of our nameplate and then attach a clasp. And to

do that we're gonna show you how easy this is. I'm going to take our silk

cording piece and we just pre-cut these in 6 inch lengths. So I'm going to feed

that through the front of my nameplate here and I'm going to pull through about

a little over an inch. And that'll be on the back of our bracelet, so that's why

we fed it through the front. Now we're going to take a four-inch piece of our

24-gauge wire. We just pre-cut this. And I'm going to hold the two cords together,

take my wire and hold that in place, and then I'm just going to wrap that around

as tightly as I can to get started. Once you get your first couple wraps going it

gets easier. I'm going to just keep wrapping here until I have about, I don't

know, eight or ten little wraps here. So that's about eight or ten little wraps there.

And what I'm going to do now is just trim my wire. And I'm going to trim it so

that the wire, the little wire end, isn't gonna be poking into my arm or into

Kitty's arm, since this is her bracelet. Use my wire cutters and just trim the

wire. And if you want, if you're worried about these little ends being pokey, you

can tuck the little ends in between the two cords in your wraps. So that's

another way to make it look a little more finished and maybe not maybe not

poke you. But that's one side done there. And now what we're going to do is do the

same thing on the other side. And then we'll attach the clasp.

So there's our cords on our nameplate there and now we're just going to attach

the clasp using the same technique we used here, but first we want to test the

size of the bracelet. Kitty and I have about the same size wrist, so I'm

just gonna wrap that around like that, and see how much is left. Looks like

that's about two and a half inches, so I'm gonna slide my clasp, one side of my

clasp, up to about two and a half inches up the bracelet. So I'll feed this end

through this. And this loop is a little bit smaller than the hole that was in

our bracelet so, there we go. I'm gonna pull that up about two and a half inches.

Which is just out there. I'm gonna do the same thing I did before which is fold this

back and take my wire and then do my wire wraps. And this time I'm going to

start in the middle of the wire and just wrap because I don't really have a whole

lot of stuff to hold on to to to keep it nice and straight.

So I'm just gonna start in the middle and that way I can wrap a little bit on

either side of where I started. And again I'm just lining up my wraps as best I

can and you can always stop part way and manipulate them a little bit to get them

closer. This is a great technique for attaching a clasp to something using

very few tools and very few materials. You can just use wire and wire cutters

rather than looking for jump rings and clamshell bead tips and everything

else that you might need. And again I'm just gonna push those together a little

bit and then I'll trim. And we'll trim all of this silk cord also in a minute

here.

There we go that's one side done. And I just want to test it again to make sure

I've got the size right. Yeah that seems good. So I'll come up about the same

distance on the other side of my silk cord, feed that through my other side of

my clasp. I'm gonna fold that silk cord back on itself like that and then take

my piece of wire and do the same thing I did before which is hold this pretty

taut, start in the middle of my wire, and then wrap. That's about eight wraps there

and then I'm going to trim. The magnet keeps getting my wire cutters. And

now what I can do is trim my little ends here. Leave a little bit. Do the same

thing on these ends. It helps to have very sharp scissors for this silk. And there

is our beautiful stamped metal bracelet.
