collection from jeffree star cosmetics

All that stuff is unbelievably helpful giving this video a share is another thing that is tremendously helpful for me
Thank you guys so much for all your ongoing support. Let's jump into the video. Okay, so I did get the palette
I also got two liquid lipsticks because I his liquid lipsticks are my favorite liquid lipstick formula
They are very very light but also full coverage. So we'll see if these kind of hold up to
The standards that I have set for all of this all of this other liquid lipsticks
I got cherry wet
Which is a beautiful kind of rich pink shade and I got coral fixation shocker
It's orange cannot get enough orange, and I needed a spray orange
Look liquid lipstick
I'm really actually so interested if I'm gonna look like a pumpkin face or if this is actually gonna be somewhat cute so
I'm gonna first start off by diving into the palette. It's got the same sort of
Like these little water droplets on which gives it a nice texture. It's got different orange shades. It kind of looks like a creamsicle and
It is
Described as an eyeshadow pressed pigment palette
It does have a nice big mirror with a seal which I will peel off and then you have all of the colors
within the palette
So I was super excited about these colors. They were really really inspiring to me. I don't have a lot of these bright blues and
Aquas in my collection and I'm really excited about the metallics. I think they look absolutely stunning. These are large palettes
Jeffrey is kind of known for his large palettes
I don't think these are as large as like androgyny and beauty killer because this has more colors
Yeah, this is 15 shades and they are
1.95 grams per shade, which is a large pan for the Anastacio Beverly Hills soft glam palette has
Is 0.8 grams per pan, which is much much much. Smaller the violet boss
Holy Grail, palette is 1.8 grams per pan, which is a lot more comparable
So these are a really really good size pan that you're getting for your money this palette retails for $48
which is pricey in my opinion, but you do get a lot of product and we're gonna see if the
if the
Formula really lives up to that price because that's not you know, it's not super expensive, but it's certainly not cheap
So we want to make sure that the formula really really lives up to that price tag
Okay, so enough babbling. Let's jump right into this actual freaking tutorial. I'm dying to jump into these shades
I don't really know what I'm gonna do yet, but we're gonna do something fun. So let's get that started
Okay guys, so I am grabbing taste buds on a big fluffy brush and I am just buffing that
Through the crease. This is a matte peachy shade. I have gone. I forgot to press record at first
I have gone through a couple passes if you guys watch my blood sugar palate review by him, you know
I really really liked that palette. The pigmentation was pretty incredible and I was just super inspired by the color palette
Right off the bat. I'm actually surprised this color doesn't have more pigmentation
I'm not necessarily mad at it because I am able to build but it has taken several passes in the pan
There is absolutely almost no fallout in the pan. So I guess that's a good thing but it has taken quite a few passes
So just know that that color maybe a bit more sheer when you're using a big fluffy brush
I think one thing that people do forget is the type of brush that you use matters greatly in how the eyeshadow
Performs if you use a fluffy bread blending brush like this you are going to get less pigmentation
It's just how I shadows work. If you use a stiff dense brush, you're going to get much much more pigmentation
So just keep that in mind when you're watching these reviews that you know
It matters what brush you use? All right now, I'm gonna go in with bitch and
Another there's literally like no fallout in the pan. It's trippy. I'm like is it but look it's on the brush
So like is it picking anything up?
Okay now I'm just placing that
Right over top that first color. This is a bright
Pinky sort of maybe with a little bit of coral in it. Very very pretty shade in the pan
Again, using this fluffy brush. I would say it's a bit more of a sheer pigmentation, but
Very very buildable, but I'm not getting that like POW
Pigmentation right off the bat like I am kind of used to with jeffree star mattes
I don't know if that was intentional or not
This is gonna be maybe a little bit more of like a theatrical or dramatic look so
Stay tuned to my other video if you want something a lot more wearable. This is just really to show
What's going on with these shades in this formula?
So first to pinky mats are definitely I would say a little bit more on the shear side
But
Buildable I would say
All right
So kind of how I build my dimension is I go in with more and more dense brushes as I deep deepen in the color
So next I'm going to go with hmmm. I'm gonna go in with stroke, which is a matte mauve
It's just crazy guys. These are packed so tightly like when I
human
Focus when I tap in here
Like nothing comes off
Like a little bit comes off the top but I'm just used to pallets with a lot more fallout. So I'm kind of like, huh?
alright, so
Bringing this color even closer to the crease
With a slightly more tapered brush. This is the Sigma blending 825 brush. I really really love this brush
I'm just kind of gently darkening that crease
Again, these colors are blending really really beautifully, but I'm sensing
more of a sheer application
Like the pigmentation is it like pow?
Like I am really dipping into these pans and I'm actually loving the results so far
but
I'm also feeling like they are on the shear side
This is why it's so important to apply shadows to your eye and not just swatch them on your arm because
swatches
can be very very deceiving I
Have to say these shadows are blending beautifully together
They're just taking a little bit more time to build up the color, which I'm okay with because I would rather a shadow beat blendable
then ultra ultra pigmented, but that is completely
Personal preference is what we have so far again those colors really blended nicely together
I'm gonna go in with that same exact brush and drizzle which is a chocolate brown. That one has a bit more fallout guys
Just you know
So that one's not giving me a ton of
color payoff
Over top those other shades, maybe I'm just layering
Too many I can see it it's just not
Super intensely pigmented. I'm actually surprised that's the darkest shade in the whole palette
That shadow. I just applied is the darkest shade in a whole palette, which is
Kind of unusual for him
Okay, so going in with just a fluffy blending brush
I'm going to take a little bit of parched which is I'm kind of an off-white cream almond shade
And I'm just going to use that to blend out right under my brow. So that areas a bit softer
I do not expect the shadow to show up on my skin. It's too light
It's too close to my skin tone. So I don't necessarily expect that which is fine, but it is a nice kind of
Shade to blend out all those other colors
All right, so I'm going to go ahead and cut the crease and I will be right out
Okay guys, so I cut the crease with Tarte shape tape. I'm just gonna
tap into a little bit of drizzle and just kind of go across where I cut the crease and just
To find that a little bit more
So after doing the other I taste buds
I'm a little concerned about that one. I'm I just don't the pigment just really wasn't there
I don't know if it was meant to be more of a sheer shade again
I was using it on a big fluffy brush, but the pigmentation just very underwhelming on taste buds, which is a shame
It's a really pretty color I would say
drizzle
All the mats so far with the exception of bitch have been
It's hard to tell if they're really on the shear side or if it was just the brush
I was using or if it was just the fact that I was layering like seventeen shadows on top of each other
because when I take drizzle on this tiny
Detailer brush the pigmentation is fine
So I
think you just have to
be conscious of the type of brush you use with those and
The fact that you may have to do a little bit of building up
You might not get that intense pigmentation like right off the bat, but I'm happy with the result
I'm super pleased with how they're blending that is then the blending has been an absolute dream so far
okay, so
My thinking is that these metallics probably apply the absolute best using your finger, but I do want more of a precise application
So I'm going to have to use a brush at least for the inner corner
So this brush looks dirty, but it's not it's just a little bit stained. I'm gonna wet the brush actually
No, we should apply it dry first just to see
I'm going to apply. Let's see. How about a line? That looks like a cool shade
I'll try it dry first. Although my feeling is that it's not going to apply very well dry
yeah, I just watched on my hand dry and it's
nothing
I mean, it's definitely there. It's just kind of sheet more sheer more glittery
So let me grab a setting spray so we can wet that it's really like a true cool tone silver
It's definitely pretty shade I much prefer the pigmentation when it's wet too when it's dry
But metallics in general, I always like the application the most of my finger
I just can't be as precise as I want to be in that inner corner when I use my finger, so
We'll try a finger swatch for the center of the lid
Just packing that right up against the line
Pretty pretty solid nice metallic when that
Brush is wet. Alright, let's go in with
snatch'd next
These are very very
firmly packed shadows like with the Laura Lee metallics
They kind of crumbled out when you swatch them with your finger absolutely stunning shades, but these are really packed in there
Which I appreciate. All right, so with my finger
Pretty
Finger is definitely the way to go guys cuz look at that. That's like wet metal
So so pretty it's just really hard to get precise I'm just gonna blend those two shades together I
Love that that reminds me of like a medic metal wet molten metal. I'm happy with how those shades are blending
I was actually a little concerned because I
Wasn't sure how they were gonna go together, but I'm actually liking how those colors are going
Cool all right, what should we finish off with? Maybe I feel like plunge. I'll probably look better
So I'm gonna start with my finger and then I'm gonna have to finesse it with a brush again. Super super
tightly packed
Definitely getting some fallout on my face I can feel all
Right now, let me wet the brush so I can be more precise with that
Again I'm feeling like these colors are blending so seamlessly together
Which I'm happy about because that's not always the case when it comes to like metallics and shimmer shades sometimes
Especially if you're using them wet
They don't blend very nicely you have like a weird separation. And these are just like seamless gradients
So that's cool. I'm like in that
Again, these colors apply best with your finger. They're okay. They're decent with with a wet brush with a dry brush
You're not going to get the effect you want
But I'm obsessed with how those colors look next to each other. Oh so freaking pretty
Cool. Well, that's the lid I am going to use one of the
One of the liquid lipsticks as a liner. So I'm gonna do the pink. I'm gonna do cherry wet as the liner
so what I do is I just
Get a nice clump of that on the back of my hand and then I get a nice thin liner brush
Coat the brush completely
And just start painting that on
You
That's fine. All right. So this is the I look so far
I'm gonna go ahead and catch up the other eye and we will move down to the
Lower left and we are gonna jump to the lower lashline
So now we're gonna kind of hit that bottom row of Shadows all those bright
blues and aquas, so I think
I'm going to start in the inner corner. I'm going to do
The braid
Orange, they're gonna do the knot orange. That's yellow. That's not Orange
So I'm really digging in that pan again not too much fall out, although with a stiffer brush. There is a bit more
See with this stiff dense brush the pigmentation is pretty good
I'm not like blown away by it, but it's really hard to make a super pigmented yellow and
This one is not
Terrible it's not
Best I think if you were using a like kind of a fluffy blending brush, it might just be a sheer wash
But it is
buildable in a corner and I'm going to take a different brush and
the bright
blue called submerge
Tap off the excess that one has a bit more fallout. So I'm noticing the braids have more fallout than the other shades
And just actually this brush is too big
Let's get a smaller brush
Again the pigmentation isn't like blowing my mind. Um
But it's blending in nicely with the yellow
Again it is buildable, but that first pass isn't necessarily as pigmented as I might have expected
All right, so we're gonna finish off with splash with that same pencil brush really digging in there
You can really dig with this palette you do not have to like subculture. It's like
This one you can really get in there and you're not going to be like overcome with pigment
you'll see that that one's nice that I
Feel like that has more pigment than the other two braids
Really just
Packs a punch right when you apply it whereas the other two
I feel like you have to spend more time kind of building up. I've been doing a lot of colorful looks lately
these all these colorful pallets
All right, so I think I'm going to leave it at that for the lower lash line
I'm going to go ahead and catch up the other eye
Pop on some lashes and I'm going to give you my quick quick final thoughts on
The pallet and then we will do the liquid lips really quickly and then we're gonna be all done. So I will be right back
Okay, so the eyes are done I'm going to tell you guys my quick thoughts on the pallet, um, I
Love love love the color scheme. It is so inspiring to me. It's so beautiful and it's perfect for summer
The bright colors the Pink's the peaches all that stuff is just like speaking my language right now
With that said I'm a tiny bit underwhelmed. I'll be honest with the formula
I think the metallic shades are absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. I think they give this beautiful like wet metal. Look, they're very very pigmented
They are used best with your fingers
So keep that in mind but a wet brush is sufficient the top row mattes, I think are more of a sheer buildable matte formula
Bitch is pretty
Pretty pigmented stroke is kind of in the middle era. I didn't use kumquat. I used parch a little bit parched
I don't really expect much out of because it's such a light shade but tastebuds was a bit underwhelming in the pigmentation category
However, all those colors blend it together absolutely beautifully the bottom row
I will say when I did this I the bright blue worked better than what I did on this eye
So I'm pleased with the bright blue. I'm pleased with the bright aqua
Or a bright teal whatever you want to call that the yellow was a little underwhelming. I did not use subtle
It's just like a basic cool tone Brown
Drizzle, I like I like it best with more of a detailer brush when I was kind of using it with a blender brush it
Was a little bit less pigmented. So I just certain shades. I just prefer using a more dense brush with that
So I think overall I liked the palette. I'm not as blown away by it as I was with blood sugar
I was just like so in love with blood sugar
I love these colors
But the formula I think just takes especially with the mask just takes a little bit longer to build again
The blend ability is absolutely fantastic. They all blend it together. So unbelievably well
But they do take a little bit longer to just build up that intense level of pigment
Now I'm gonna do the swatches for you guys as cover didn't crazy stuff. Anyways, okay, so let's do that liquid lipstick
so I'm gonna start off with
Coral fixation now. This is much more orange than I actually
Thought it was going to be so I'm interested
Interested, my son just went away
I'm actually interested to see how this is going to look on my lips and if it's going to be something I'm actually going to
wear
So Geoffrey's formulas are always on the shear site or not shear on the thin side
In
Terms of the formula. It is not a mu C formula that you will find with some other liquid lipsticks and
Because the formula is thinner it really sits really lightly on the lips. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey which is why I love it
Well, so that was one dunk, I think I am going to go in with a second dunk just for the bottom
I'm actually really happy with this color. I was nervous when I swatched it on my arm that it was going to be
Insanely orange and I was not going to be able to wear it because I would look like a pumpkin face
But it even it's it's registering actually quite a bit darker on camera. So sorry about that me
Son just went behind it clouds and all sudden it's dark, um, it is actually a really really beautiful shade
It's a full coverage formula. I would say with like 1 and 1/2 dunks
It was a tiny tiny bit sheer in places with just one dunk, but that's quite all right
I don't expect every shade to fully apply over my whole entire lips with just one dunk. I do like how the
Applicator has that curve in it that just fits the contours of your lips
It's his it's his formula through and through it's a lightweight on the lips
You do want to let it dry down fully and completely
Or else it will transfer but it's only been a few seconds and there's almost no transfer
So it has his typical really really matte formula. I really like the shade. I'm super pleased with it
So let me apply cherry wet, you know when you take off an orange
Lipstick and you feel like you just ate a bag of Cheetos. Ok
So let's apply cherry what this is just kind of like a deep pink shade
But it looks super gorgeous when he's watched it on his video
So this is a one dunk full-coverage
Color, I did not have to dunk more than one time in the tube and I have a full coverage over my entire mouth
Now I don't have huge lips obviously so if you have more lip surface area you might have to dump in twice
But I like when I can do one dunk for my entire lip because then it's just a little bit of a lighter
Color a little bit of a lighter formula on top of the lip. Sometimes when I apply two layers
I find that it gets a little bit crusty a little bit clumpy and just weird. So I like it when I can just apply
one dunk
This is a very very pretty shade. It registered a little bit more red to me when I watched Jeffries video
So it is a bit Pinker than I expected. But I do really really like it
It's awesome for summer same formula as the other one same from the formulas all those other liquid lipsticks
So I'm very very pleased and happy with both of these colors and I'm super excited to wear them. I'm wondering how
I'm actually gonna pop a little bit of coral fixation
in the middle
So I wonder how these colors would like look together
Yeah
I even like these colors together actually with a little bit of that orange kind of right in the center there to warm up that
pink a bit
Cool, so thumbs up for those. Alright guys, so that completes my video are the jeffree star
