Leah's Book Recommendations and OOTD + 50 Subscriber GIVEAWAY - Duration: 8:08.
you came for happiness and I'm gonna give it to you but I'm gonna give
it a little dark humorous way I am going to be recommending books to you
from the perspective of Leah from Leah on the offbeat she is the most sassy abrasive
character that I know and I felt it will be really fun to recommend books through
her perspective though I did enjoy all of these books I did not enjoy them for the
same reasons as Leah if you want my actual thoughts and
opinions on any of these specific books you can check out the link to my goodreads down
below also if you enjoy the sassiness of the video that you are about to see

are full of sass and for sticking around for this 45-second intro there's also a

all the information I'm going to be giving away my favorite books series of all-time
Without further ado well to the sass that is Leah and her book recommendations
so here's the whole outfit just stick your hair in a little bun on top of your
head and let the rest fall down it makes you look so much taller because you add
like two inches to your head then put on some very bold lipstick so today I chose
red sometimes I like mauve or blue or black didn't put on any other
makeup because I don't have time for that and then of course we've got the
dress I got this from torrid it is bright enough to not make me look
pasty so that's always a plus and whenever it highlights the big boobs you
know my best feature that's good tightens here and then flares
out and then of course we've go to the legs and these little nude boots I like
these because they go with everything because they're nude so yeah this is
kind of how I dress I also have other iconic outfits that you've read about in
the book such as my Doctor Who dress so I will show you what that looks like
before we get started with the real video that I've come up with so here's
my Doctor Who dress it's got the TARDIS on the bottom it's velvet this is
something that Clara would have worn it also does do that thing where it hugs
your boobs so I just look like I have space boobs here's the top of it as you
can see it's got a little bit of the classic flare I like to pair fashionable
things like this with really old stuff because why not so like with what
I'm wearing today I wore one of these like Victorian looking rings yeah just
to be ironic I guess anyway so I think that becky albertalli wrote me in this
dress because I showed up to one of her events in Kentucky for love Simon not
Kentucky Murfreesboro Tennessee why can't I get these things straight anyway
I showed up to one of her events in this dress on my birthday and I feel like she
just saw me in it and thought that this was the outfit that needed to be written
in the book so yay me she got something right so the challenge for today was to
just do the outfit of the day but I've decided I'm gonna recommend you some of
my favorite books so that I can guilt you into reading them because that's so
much fun to do so the first thing I have is the Harry Potter series obviously I'm
a fan a lot of people do ship Draco and Hermione which when you think about it
is a little weird because Draco is such a coward but when you think about
it with my mind you can really ship Draco and Hermione because Draco is the
most cowardice character that there is which means that he's easy to bend to
your will so if we were to date I could totally control him and get
whatever I want and because he's from an affluent family that would
mean money so why not only good love story is a love story where one of the
love interests dies close your eyes if you don't want to see which John Green
book this is referring to just close your eyes because I'm going to show you the
cover like right now right now I'm about to show you the cover but I'm not gonna
read it to you because I'm not mean so just close your eyes as much as I root
for the stormtroopers in the Star Wars saga it's also a guilty pleasure to
watch them all die so I've chosen to recommend to you today 99 stormtroopers
joined the Empire this is illustrated pages kind of like a children's book
where stormtroopers die in 99 different ways so if you're ever looking for cool
and inventive ways to kill stormtroopers this is your go-to book now as you also
know I am an artist I see the beauty in the world or the ugliness but sometimes
a book will move me by how artistic it gets with its language so for that I
have chosen the Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern the language in this is
so beautiful it is like she is painting on a canvas
with her words and all of their magical duels that they have are pretty much
creating exhibits that have art why would I not like this book then I move
on to one of my favorite authors which is Lois Duncan
she writes suspense novels for teenagers and sometimes they do have a little bit
of romance but it can be pretty twisted like the twisted window this guy is
trying to kidnap back his sister from these people that have taken her or is
he you'll have to read to find out being yourself is the only way to live life
that is why I am sassy and I am upfront and bold because that is who I am
and that's why I also appreciated star girl by Jerry Spinelli now this girl
was way too happy but at least she was herself so that's why I could root for
her a lot of books do not show you what it's really like to be a woman they do
not go into the nitty-gritty that we have to deal with on a monthly basis but
under the never sky by Veronica Rossi does this girl lives and a life of
privilege in a dome while everyone else is stuck on the outside of a dome with
lightning skies that can come and kill you make you turn into ash in front of
your loved ones so whenever she's finally out of the dome she winds up
getting her period for the first time and of course the guy has to tell her
that she's not dying which usually I wouldn't like but like this girl's so
privileged it was kind of nice to see a guy kind of mansplain to her but they
wind up kind of falling in love in the series and you really like them
instead of showing the whole trope where it's like a white person goes into
this other place that are like people of color and they show them their ways and
then that minority group gets better this one does the reverse for the
privileged girl winds up learning new things and appreciating this other
society that operates so much more smoothly than her privileged society
that she was once in so of course I love this book because social justice is so
important to me you can see when you read Leah on the offbeat even if it
seems like I'm being mean it's just because I'm right the next book I read
ironically because obviously I do not ship these characters I do not ship
the writing but it is slightly addictive and also why not make fun of all of the
ridiculousness of the love triangle and that's gonna be
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer next we're going to get into my love for gaming and
also eighties music which no teenager actually listens to but I do because
again I like to be ironic and that is going to be ready player one by Ernest
Cline I also like that this book has a lot of foul language that is my
favorite thing to see in a book it's just so sassy and then finally my last
book I like it when a girl can get down and dirty hmm yes so I have chosen
cinder by Marissa Meyer because this girl doesn't mind getting a little bit
of grease on herself and she's not completely completely hung up over the
love interest she has other goals in mind as well
so yes cinder there's also lots of social justice undertones in the series
that you wouldn't expect so that's a nice little treat to get every once in a
while thank you for watching I hope you've enjoyed some of these book
recommendations that I've given you I hope that you like my sarcastic nature
because I am always sarcastic even when I'm being serious I did enjoy all of

Dark Souls now I quickly apologize for sounding a little weird because I have a
cold and yeah it's like 30 degrees out there
and I still managed to catch a cold so yeah go figure so I have a little bong
bong in my mouth right now because if I wouldn't then I would cough like crazy
and that would be really annoying and I want to spare you from that okay now
back to the game as you might see I changed a little bit since the last time
we played I have a full ammo right now and a lot of other stuff
excuse me I did some where not farming grinding I basically walked around this
area that we already discovered and killed some people for souls and yeah
let's take a look at this one here I bought bottomless box which is like a
storage room for this game and yeah at first it was really I didn't really know
what how this works but yeah if I just press l1 r1 there just which is the
storage and held what I'm still seeing what I am not having with me right now
so that's kind of confusing and yeah a
little bit I don't know yeah as you can see a lot of stuff all of this stuff I
found from the enemies after I killed them and yeah I had a repair box tool so
I can repair my stuff at the bonfire for I don't know spending some souls I think
and yeah this is what I'm walking around with
right now I found out dozens of weapon and I'm
just gonna go and show you what I bought okay when I bought from this one
merchant merchant okay yeah I got this area down pretty well I don't think I
died once off screen and yeah got a little into this game and excuse me now
those guys I don't know how to deal with those guys yet it's still a pain in the
neck to be away yeah as you can see my role is pretty bad right now
don't watch SPEA okay how do I do that I don't know
how I do this kick boom okay yeah what else did I do
yeah I switched my crossbow to the left because why not I'm walking around with
a club and shorts what that I found from some enemy and yeah yeah
let's take a look everything that this merchant had to offer I have it I have

like to collect stuff so yeah I probably try to get everything as possible to get
and yeah just wanted to show you that and now we can continue I'm trying to at
least get this one I allow Black Knights defeated in this
part we already died too well I think one or two times
let me just rest here for a moment so I can live it up I think I need like 800
and wait a minute I got this one map and I bought from the merchant what is it
that is scimitar yeah but yeah when I equip this thing it says unable to we're
to swim effectively with present stats and yeah if I whoops press a square and
you can see in the middle required parameter I think that what's that's
supposed to mean and there are 13 which is our dexterity yeah it's the same icon
I think yeah so I need 1 point in dexterity so that I can wear this thing
effectively I'm actually I can't fight with this thing but every time when I
hit something it just bounces back and does like I know three or five damage so
yeah that's what they mean with that I think so let's change that and get one
more dexterity so that I can effectively we hit this wing now yep all right but
let me just walk around with this one because the club is still the most
powerful thing ever and I gotta like crossbow awesome
hmm hmm as you can see I I'm cutting in I've got I got a little used to the
fighting in this area because I did like a million times now in order to get some
Souls out let's just hope that I can defeat this one black night and let's
hope that I get something out of it I think I was an enemy over here right mm
and there's an enemy over here awesome yeah I could do this all on screen
farming some souls but that would be pretty boring for you to watch so I
decided to cut that out boom got some fire bombs I think from
the enemies in this area too and yeah pretty uninteresting to watch so I
decided to do that off-screen I didn't never up once I like to do that on
screen but at least collecting and flying out stuff that I can because if I
play this game I might as well do it like why everything the moment I have to
chance so I don't have to come back by anything and yeah excuse me tighten each
are ok so this is what a night was I think so let's try you can't sneak up to
him right let's just use two hands maybe it does more damage like that
no no okay we are not dying with one hit oh damn it okay my plan is to jump at
him like that huh it worked but he still does a lot of damage and i'm not as

then I can just make them stagger because my clubs like so powerful what

Loneliness and depression are two complicated things and they really make life miserable.
People around will also be affected, and it is just not good to have someone with such
condition around us.

In this video, I'm going to share with you 10 ways to deal with loneliness and avoid
depression according to therapists.

Here's how to deal with loneliness and avoid depression.
#1 - Learn to handle your emotion.
Some people are gifted, meaning that they can control their emotion rather easily.
However, they are extremely rare, and you are probably not one of them.
In this case, you should learn how to control your emotion.
The simplest way is by being patient when someone is angry at you.
It is the first step as training, and you need to be grateful for everything you get.
#2 - Accept the fact.
It is indeed difficult to accept the hard truth.
Sometimes, it makes you even more depressed.
The key here is to take it slow.
It is bitter, but you need to enjoy the process, and you become more mature with the process.
This way, you will be stronger to face another depression if you unfortunately cannot avoid

Even if you chose that path, you are still not alone.
There are so many people who are willing to listen to your stories and help to solve your
problems.
#6 - Talk to professional.
If you really don't have someone close to you, or you don't want to share the stories
with them, fear nothing.
There are so many people dedicating their life to help depressed, lonely, and desperate
people.
You need to pay them though.
#7 - Being self-aware.
This is a state that not all people are capable to reach.
However, having a decent self-awareness is helpful.
You can find the root of the problem more accurately and easily.
Additionally, you also can be stronger as you are trained to interact with your emotion
directly.
#8 - Look the positive side of actions.
You probably feel lonely because of breaking up with someone you loved so much.
However, you should look at the reason why.
A relationship without love, for instance, will go nowhere.
The quicker it ends, the better it is as you will find someone who will care you more in
the process.
#9 - Take medication.
It is fortunate that there are some medications that can help you to fight depression and
loneliness.
However, those medications need to be taken based on prescription in order to keep your
sanity level normal.
#10 - Keep struggling.
Fighting loneliness is always easier said than done.
However, that shouldn't stop you from struggling for overcoming those feelings.

Many people think Michael Jordan was just always this competitive since high school,
but that wasn't it.
I made a video a long time ago on the time Michael Jordan didn't make his high school
team and so he pushed himself further to become better and took over.
What people don't realize is while that definitely got Jordan working harder, he was
already super competitive at that point.
That's why he was so pissed off that he didn't make the team, because he already
had a fire.
When MJ was in his early childhood, he wouldn't really argue.
Even when he was helping his dad out with the car and his dad scolded him and told him
to go back inside the house with the women, MJ was fine because he was laid back and affectionate,
but over the years, Jordan would develop a fire.
That fire can be traced back not to a particular event, but a particular person.
This person would woop MJ's butt every time they played basketball and his name was Larry
Jordan, MJ's older brother.
MJ to this day says that his brother has all the basketball talent.
Larry and MJ would make up and play games in their backyard that usually involved a
tennis ball and some baseball type of game.
Larry has said that "If he lost, he had to keep playing until he won.
That's why, more often than not, it would end in a fight."
It was this sort of attitude that MJ would take in.
After all, he wanted to be half the player Larry was.
That's why Jordan picked the number 23, because his brother wore 45 and there was
no 22.5.
So when he saw his brother never giving up and just always pushing himself to win, MJ
couldn't help but admire that.
They would eventually get into basketball at the age of 12 and Larry was once again
better.
That same high school team that MJ didn't make was the same team that Larry was a star
on.
By that time, MJ and Larry had battled so many times that MJ became this dog that just
wanted to win.
So when he didn't make the high school team, it was that fire that drove him.
Overtime, MJ would have a growth spurt and the games between his brother and him just
became less competitive because Larry couldn't keep up.
But at that point, MJ was on a path.
Because MJ hadn't just been competitive in basketball and was competitive in all those
games, MJ was competitive in every game in life.
His dream team teammates said that anything they played was a contest and MJ had this
overwhelming presence to win.
And that's what makes MJ, MJ.
It's probably his best trait as an athlete and that's why he was able to overcome obstacles
because he just couldn't stand to lose.
The bad boy Pistons were like Larry, a person who he had to fight over and over again until
he could beat them.
That's also why he would never back down from anyone, because in his mind, he knew
that if he worked hard enough, he would win.
That's what had happened with his brother and that's what would happen with the NBA
as he would go on to win 6 championships and become what many people call him, the GOAT.

Hey welcome to Zach's Tech Turf and Weekly Download episode number 104.
I'm wearing my Ben Roethlisberger jersey because Madden 19 released on PC this week
and I'm one of those guys that's been waiting an entire decade for this to happ1en.
I'm honestly surprised I'm taking the time to make this video when I should be playing
some more madden.
On today's episode I'm obviously gonna show you some Madden footage when I give you
this news, I got my cup of coffee right there, make sure you guys let me know in the comment
section what you're sippin' on, let's get into it.
To start off the tech news for the week, MSI has officially confirmed Intel's 9th generations
of CPUs for us, despite Intel not even confirming them yet.
I don't wanna talk about this long, I've reported about this 9th generation for weeks
now, but it was pretty funny that MSI stated that they will update their Z370 motherboards
to support the new processors.
Great job MSI, thanks for keeping us updated.
In some more news that I've been reporting for weeks about, we might finally have an
answer to Nvidia's next generation of graphics cards at their event on August 20th.
This week they finally announced that they will provide quote spectacular surprises at
their event on August 20th.
Not gonna talk more about this one as well, we pretty much all know the latest and greatest
GeForce 11 series rumors by now.
Next up AMD officially launched their new B450 motherboards this week which are a direct
replacement for the ever so popular B350 motherboards.
The B450s are perfect consumer sweet spot for most of us PC gamers, and the new chipset
is now offering the ability to use an SSD to speed up your hard drive as well as full
support for every single Ryzen CPU.
No more worrying about your Ryzen APU working in a B350, the B450s are finally here.
Moving on Logitech announced that they are acquiring Blue Microphone which is definitely
a bold move and one that I like from them.
Blue Microphone has created some pretty solid products for us content creators, make sure
you check out my Budget Twitch Streaming Starter Guide video, and they'll only do better
with a massive company like Logitech behind them.
To start off the PC gaming news for the week, yep, let's quickly talk about how my favorite
game in the world, Madden, finally released on PC this week.
The last time this game was on the PC was Madden 08, and I've seriously been buying
consoles for the sole reason of playing Madden ever since then.
I no longer have to do that thanks to EA and Madden 19 is actually a very solid game which
is a little surprising.
I've been playing for a few hours now and the graphics are top notch, it's running
buttery smooth, and I even played my first game online against someone and didn't have
any issues.
Well, other than me getting my butt handed to me.
Moving on to why the early Madden release is even possible, Origin launched their Access
Premiere server this week and this is how some of us are able to play Madden an entire
week early.
The Premier service adds on to the previous Origin Access subscription by allowing you
to play their new top of the line games 10 days earlier than everyone else.
I don't essentially own Madden, if I unsubscribed I wouldn't be able to play it, but for $100
a year this thing will definitely pay for itself.
Next up No Man's Sky did some serious damage on the Steam Charts this week, as there was
almost 100,000 players playing at the same time which is really insane.
I actually talked about my initial thoughts of this NEXT update which has everyone going
crazy, so make sure you check out this month's episode of PC Gaming Playback which I just
uploaded on Wednesday.
Speaking of crazy updates, the Stardew Valley Multiplayer update is finally out on a live
release and out of beta.
Multiplayer was originally announced all the way back in 2016 and you can now finally build
up that farm with some friends.
And to wrap up the PC gaming news for the week, the Destiny 2 matchmaking servers have
a huge bug in them right now, but most players actually voted for Bungie to keep it that
way.
In the PVP quickplay Crucible mode, the servers are supposed to matchmake you with similar
skilled players, but that's not working at all right now and everyone is getting matched
with everyone.
This isn't a big deal because there's a completely separated ranked mode that is
working, and it's pretty funny that players want Bungie to keep it this way.

This is tax-free weekend in many states.
This means that shoppers will be able to buy items without having to pay sales tax.
The exact rules for tax free weekend vary from state to state, with some states being more lenient in terms of what items qualify for the tax-free specials.
Most states offer a tax free holiday so parents can buy back-to-school items at prices a little cheaper than normal — but the sales definitely aren't limited to back-to-school items only.
We're including tips below to help you get the most out of tax free weekend.
Here's what you need to know.
Ten States Are Participating This Weekend.

Some stores are offering special sales for tax-free weekend.

Only 10 states are participating in the tax free holiday this weekend, Friday, August 3 through Sunday, August 5.
The participating states are:.
Arkansas: Aug.
4-5 Florida: August 3-5 Iowa: Aug.
3-4 Missouri: Aug. 3-5 New Mexico: Aug.
3-5 Ohio: Aug. 3-5 Oklahoma: Aug.
3-5 South Carolina: Aug.
3-5 Virginia: Aug.
3-5 Wisconsin: August 1-5.
States that are having tax-free weekend later are Connecticut (Aug.
19-25), Maryland (Aug.
12-18), and Texas (August 10-12.) For the first time, Louisiana is not having its tax holiday this year.
Normally, the state's tax holiday would be this weekend too.
Meanwhile, Massachusetts has just decided to have a tax-free weekend this month August 11-12.
The House approved the sales tax holiday last month, and it was part of an economic development bill that was approved on Tuesday.
Last year, Massachusetts didn't have a tax-free weekend at all.
Some states already had their tax-free weekend.
That includes Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Only Certain Items Will Qualify.
Each state has its own rules about what items qualify for tax free purchases.
It's definitely not a free-for-all.
Here's a quick look at what qualifies for tax-free weekend this weekend and in upcoming weekends in August, according to Deal News and other sources. Click on each state's name for more complete information.
Note that each of these limits are per item, not total spent.
So if a limit says "clothing up to $100," that typically means up to $100 per clothing item.
Arkansas: Arkansas has no limit this year on school supplies.
Clothing up to $100, clothing accessories and equipment up to $50.
Connecticut – Clothing and footwear up to $100.
Florida – School supplies up to $15 and clothing up to $60.
Iowa: Clothing and footwear up to $100 tax-free.
Louisiana: The state is not having a sales tax holiday this year.
Maryland: Clothing and footwear up to $100 tax-free, backpacks (first $40 of purchase is tax free.) Missouri: Clothing up to $100; school supplies up to $50; computer software up to $350; computers up to $1,500; computer peripherals up to $1,500; graphing calculators up to $150.
New Mexico: School supplies up to $30; clothing, footwear and accessories up to $100; computers up to $1,000; computer accessories up to $500.
Ohio: Clothing up to $75; school supplies up to $20; school instructional material up to $20.
Oklahoma: Clothing and shoes up to $100.
South Carolina: South Carolina covers more items for tax free weekend than many states, including clothing, bedding items, computers, printers, and bathroom decor.
Clothing, footwear, and accessories, school supplies, computers, software and accessories, and bed and bath linens all have no limit.
Texas: Pretty much any clothing, footwear, backpacks or school supplies that cost up to $100 each qualify.
Virginia: Clothing up to $100 per item and school supplies up to $20 per item qualify.
Wisconsin: Clothing up to $75 per items; computers up to $750; computer supplies up to $250 per item; and school supplies up to $75 per item qualify.
Some Stores Will Be Open Later During Tax-Free Weekend.
Check online to see what hours your favorite stores will be open on tax-free weekend.
Many stores will be open earlier or later than their normal hours in order to take advantage of the extra shoppers.
But before you go shopping, make sure that you check the deals and the items that qualify closely.
Don't go on a shopping spree for items that you don't need, only to find out later that not everything actually qualifies.
Some stores are offering extra discounts to celebrate tax-free weekend.
If you have a particular store in mind, research online first to see if you need to bring a coupon with you.
You Can Take Advantage of Tax-Free Weekend Online or Through Layaway.
You don't have to shop in-store to take advantage of tax-free weekend.
You can also purchase some items tax-free online. Many stores will let you put items on layaway and still get them tax free.
But check your state's rules, because not every state allows layaway items to qualify.
You may also have an easier time if you make a list ahead of time that details everything you need to buy.
I Heart the Mart provides a worksheet that lists prices from typical school supplies, along with how much the items would cost from Walmart.
This was last updated in 2013, but can still give you an idea of what you should be looking for.
Shoppers Should Be Extra Nice to People Working Retail This Weekend.
Tax-free weekend can be incredibly busy and very "taxing" for people who work in retail.
So if you're planning on shopping this weekend, take time to be extra nice to the people who are working at the stores where you're shopping.
They will probably be overwhelmingly busy all weekend and will appreciate it if you provide a dose of compassion and patience.

to that point that we are endowed with the desire to give. The expression of our
love of our devotion is to serve the Seva and that seva how do you do it
while living in the world. There is three kinds of seva
Dhan, Taan, Maan -you serve with your material possessions. All day long you are working
in the world so that hard work that you are doing it is is resulting in material
accruals you offer a bit of that in the service of God now when we start doing
that in other words when we are earning and then we offer a little bit of that
then slowly slowly the consciousness will change we will realize this work is
not for my pleasure it's not for my enjoyment because I'm now offering the
fruits to God so I am working for the pleasure of God and Guru. This change in
the consciousness automatically starts happening when we offer the fruits of
our work that is the first the lowest kind of Seva is through dhaan, through
material wealth and then after that higher is through done through the body
in other words we take time out and engage the body in service let's say you
are cleaning up the ashram or you making arrangements for the satsang etc
etc or you're collecting bricks for the Bay Area temple whatever this is
seva with the body and then the highest is the 'manasi seva' - manasi seva means in the
mind you keep this desire I want happiness of God and Guru
that's the highest 'quoting scriptures' but you
will only reach that highest when you start the step from the lowest
Now if somebody says you know those two are inconvenient 'Chamadi jaye lakin damdi
na jaye' people say I can't, first two is alright I'll serve in the mind
then that is hypocrisy because service in the mind cannot happen unless we are
serving with the body and with the world as well. That is why we need to start
that step from below okay we should always be on the lookout how can we
serve how can we increase our service this is the most powerful way of
cleansing our heart. Kripalu ji Maharaj has gone to the extent of saying
'quoting scriptures'
he has written a hundred couplets in a book called 'Bhakti Shatak' then he says
most important 'quoting scriptures'
'quoting scriptures' remember Shri Krishna and increase your
seva bhav your desire to serve this is the most important and powerful way
of cleansing your heart. Why because ultimately we are his servants, "jivera
svarupa hoy Krishna nitya das" the hand is the servant of the body it's a
fragment of the body we are fragments of the Lord so we are naturally his
servants. Now you can keep analyzing atma gyana I am NOT the body I am the
soul it's all theoretical but the moment you engage in genuine
service the nature of the soul manifests and then you can see the soul by
realization oh I'm not the body I'm not the mind I'm not the intellect I am that
tiny soul that is why service is so so important

NUMBER 10 – BARGAIN SHOPPING
I consider Bangkok as one of the best shopping destinations in the world.
It offers huge selections and wide variety of items from luxury brands to local designs for all walks of life!
And you can always get quality items at a cheaper price!
You can get fancy and visit luxurious malls
and if you're on a budget you can always go to a market just around the corner.
You'll never ran out of options.
NUMBER 9 – ARCHITECTURE
I always find Thailand's architecture so fascinating as they were able to harmonize modern and traditional architecture.
You can find a traditional temple in the middle of a vibrant modern district
yet you won't feel it's off.
Thailand is a real testament that you don't need to lose your own identity just to progress.
They were able to embrace modern and progressive world without compromising their values and their culture.
NUMBER 8 – TRANSPORTATION
You have a lot of transportation options especially in Bangkok.
You have taxi, tuk tuk, motorcycle taxi, city buses, tnvs, motor rentals and rail networks.
These options are very helpful since traffic in Bangkok can get very congested.
NUMBER 7 – DISCIPLINED DRIVERS
We'll, I'm not saying that they are the most disciplined drivers in the world
but hey, they sure know how to follow road signs and road lines.
Sure, traffic in Bangkok can be horrendous at times but at least cars are lined properly.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for motorcycle drivers who would always go even on a tight space just to get ahead of others.
NUMBER 6 – LOVE FOR ANIMALS
Thai locals sure know how to take care of animals, at least in Bangkok.
I have noticed that they even feed stray cats and dogs in their neighborhood.
As an animal lover myself, this is such a lovely sight.
NUMBER 5 – ENGLISH IS NOW A THING
Part of Thailand's progress is embracing the English language.
Their signages now have English translations and most locals can also speak English.
As one of the top tourist destinations in the world, this is great!
NUMBER 4 – ENTERTAINMENT
One of the most progressive elements in Thailand is very evident in the entertainment industry.
Thailand is now known to produce quality BL entertainment content aside from Japan and Taiwan.
Most BL series are well received not only in Thailand but in other parts of the world.
While there's still a lot of work that needs to be done in Thailand in terms of LGBT rights,
inclusion of LGBT content in mainstream media is one big step in recognizing LGBT's existence and ultimately, their rights.
NUMBER 3 – FEELS LIKE HOME
If you're from the Philippines and you're visiting Thailand for the first time,
you will instantly fall in love with the country as it feels exactly like home.
I, myself, even consider Thailand as my second home. It's really home away from home.
NUMBER 2 – FOOD
Aside from shopping, food is definitely to die for in Thailand.
Though most thai cuisine is spicy, there's a wide range of thai food that you will enjoy.
From Pad Thai to Tom Yam from simple barbeque to fancy dinner.
Name it, Thailand has it. You can never go wrong with Thai food.
NUMBER 1 – PEOPLE AND CULTURE
What makes Thailand a great place is the people and their love for their culture.
Their warm welcome, their sweet smiles, their tight hugs and most importantly their respect.
Simple gestures as they may seem but the impact is very heart-warming.
And no matter how many cultures they are exposed to being one of the top tourist destinations in the world,
they're still able to preserve their own and make it stand-out.
So that's the 10 Things I Love About Thailand.
