Youtube daily report Jan 24 2019

Hello everyone, welcome to our second chapter of the series of

virtualization with high availability in synology what we have done up to

now it is the installation of this rack and all cable installation

all the hardware and what we are going to do is to perform the basic installation of

disk station manager and we are going to perform the configuration of our network

local

we will see our switches connected with 10 gigabyte cables to the

10 gigabyte nas cable servers sf plus to the virtualization server

therefore we already have these connections directly prepared for

what if in case this switch falls we will be able to continue working with this one

because we are going to have the feil save of server tell us what we have left

the switches in a range of ip is different to the ranges of the local network

make sure that the installation does not we will be able to do it through the

sgp-plus cables we are going to need network cables

a normal gigabit to perform the first configuration now let's

install disk station manager only in the main server since in the

secondary does not need to be installed because we are going to control everything with the

High availability system synology we have finished installing

the main synology that is the one of up we have configured our

nas synology server and we have created the first equipment configuration and what

that we are going to do the first thing is going to be perform the network configuration this

configuration let's do something pretty simple since currently

we are in a network but we are going to move to leave the entire closet 100% independent

what we are going to do here is configure the network connection 2 to make it

our server dhcp and be able to serve all the computers in our network like

have your ips we have already configured our dhcp server and for that reason we

we are going to unlink from the local network Qloudea now what we have inside

this closet is a completely independent with which

we have managed to use our nas synology server also like

dhcp server once the previous configurations what are we going to

do now is prepare our server nas synology to offer a

nfs storage to our system virtualization for that what we have

what to do is access control panel and we are going to create a new folder of

fast way nfs nfs 2 we go to disable the recycle bin

here we are going to do everything next because we do not need any of the options

that we have here in permissions we access nfs permissions we click on create

we put an asterisk so you can access any host we will allow

all connections and we will allow users access subfolders

we click ok and we would have the lnfs configuration is now very

important that we copy the point of mounting

what is volume 1 nfs 2 and we click on okay

Well, we have already done all the

configurations that we needed to this video and I hope we see each other in the

next video in which we are already going to set up our high system

availability with synology we are going to force different types of errors to

see how our high availability system behaves using

virtualization with VMware

Printer-Applicator on a Fully Adjustable Stainless Steel Stand - Evolabel Printer - Duration: 2:02.

Introducing our new stainless steel, fully-adjustable printer stand which incorporates our own label

applicator and an EvoLabel Printer!

The mounted printer/applicator position is adjusted vertically

by use of a manual hand crank to precisely place labels from 14.5"-60.5"

above the floor. The gear box ensures smooth vertical height adjustment and secures the

vertical position of the printer to guarantee it stays at the proper height. The unit has

free rolling wheels and a swivel caster for complete mobility and two adjustable feet

to secure the unit to the floor when in place for labeling. The stand is extremely ridged,

ensuring minimal vibration when in operation. The axis of rotation of the printer/applicator

is through the center of mass, which allows the user virtually effortless 180º rotation

for proper label orientation. The stand also accounts for floor slope. By

simply loosening five bolts on the support arm, the printer can be leveled with minimal

effort. A manual gear allows the applicator position

to be adjusted to where the label will be advanced into the center of the applicator.

A secondary knob allows the tamp head to be adjusted up or down, thereby ensuring the

tamp head is directly in the center of the label for proper label application.

Changing label stock is quick, simple and requires minimal effort to restock the printer

with more labels. Changing out the printer roller is also very easy. Removing one screw

allows the user to easily remove the protective cover to allow access to the printer roller

components. All these features ensure your printer/applicator

reliably applies labels without constant human intervention. Contact us today to learn more!

Handling the Holidays After Divorce || Mayim Bialik - Duration: 5:01.

- During the holidays I spent a festive meal

at my ex-husbands house.

It was kind of a relief not to have to host.

He volunteered and I figured, why not?

We all pitched in and cooked but it was just

really nice to have to worry about clean the house

or doing the dishes.

Here's the thing, he also hosted his girlfriend,

and her kids and her ex-husband.

My mom was also there as was my best friend, Elsa.

She's a really good best friend to be there for me.

Most people that I mention this guest list to

thought that we were crazy.

That is was too awkward, too close, just too much.

I mean it was our first time

doing this kind of meal together.

I would be lying if I said

I wasn't nervous going into this meal.

I was recently single at the time, and felt really alone.

Plus, it was the first time meeting

his girlfriend's ex-husband.

What if it was awkward and uncomfortable?

So, why did I do it?

Well, before I tell you make sure to like this channel

hit the little bell icons.

You can get notifications about all of my videos.

Share this video, it's gonna be a good one.

Let's get back to it.

So, why did I decide to do this?

Number one; my Kids.

I wanna be with my kids,

I wanna celebrate things with them together.

Doing separate holidays,

like at their dad's house and my house.

It seems excessive and sad.

Even though we're divorced, we're still a family.

I wanna watch them eating all the holiday foods

and I wanna sit with them and their father.

Number two, family.

I think it's important to model for my children

what family looks like even in a non-traditional family.

Life is full of unusual arrangements.

People's families and step families and blended families.

The face of what families look like is changing for sure.

But ultimately my kids are the product of me and their dad.

And I think it's really important to show them

that he and I work together to make our family work.

Number three, change

This year was all about change, a lot of change.

I went though a huge change in that I am single after

not being single for a long time.

And what I've found is that sometimes

the more things change the more I find comfort

in the things that stay the same.

Especially at this time in my life

it didn't feel good to consider not

doing what we normally do

even if it was going to be potentially awkward.

Baking, cooking, preparing foods,

vacuuming up all the stray garlic cloves,

and cauliflower leaves,

those are things that bring me comfort.

Number 4, pain.

Life can be painful, loss is painful.

But this holiday season

I forced myself not to wallow in self-pity.

Which, I literally think

I'm very close to getting a Ph.D in.

Pain does not have to paralyze us.

It can be present, while simultaneously

helping us move forward.

And this year it propelled me to my

ex-husbands house.

Number 5, gratitude.

I will admit that I was feeling pretty down

when this guest list for this meal started taking form.

But a good friend of mine reminded me that

there is no unhappiness too great to be lessened.

And that's really true.

My mentor reminded me how much there is to be grateful for.

And in the past I probably would have rolled my eyes at her.

But this year it pierced straight into my heart.

I have two children and they are a real blessing.

I have a wonderful ex-husband

and even though he sometimes irritates me

overall, he's pretty awesome.

He has a fantastic girlfriend, she's really really cool.

And she wants her family to

interact together just like we do.

And that's a good thing.

My mother is here and her health is good.

My best friend Elsa and I

have been each others main support this past year.

And she always comes through for me.

I'm grateful for that.

My life is not perfect and I struggle a lot

but there are so many things to be grateful for.

So, how did this meal go?

Well, with the attitude of gratitude I went into it with

I'm sure you're not surprised it went great.

I was an enjoyable evening,

we worked on a puzzle, we watched some football,

the food was really yummy, there was plently of leftovers,

I didn't eat so much that I felt sick,

these are good things!

We took a walk before dinner,

and we took a walk after dinner.

It had just rained and the air was crisp and cool

there were Christmas lights up on so many houses.

It was beautiful.

There are so many blessings that we all can appreciate.

I hope this holiday season

you were able to find some to be grateful for as well.

Photoshop Frequency Separation Using WOW Frequency Equalizer 2 - Duration: 12:10.

recently I published a video showing how to do frequency separation easily using

a product called wow frequency equalizer Pro now the people who make

frequency equalizer Pro have been in touch and they said we've got a new

version of the software coming out would you like to try it so let's take a look

over on the right side of my screen you can actually see the original version of

frequency equalized a pro that are used I've also got installed the version 2 of

the software you can see immediately they look quite similar you've still got

these frequency equalizers and you can use those to create your adjustments but

there's a few additional features as you can see on screen at the moment we've

now got tooltips against all the major controls on the

panel and that helps you understand what they are and how to adjust them when you

come to use them the interface itself is still really clear but it's got a few

enhancements and I think improvements one of the things you had on the

original frequency equalizer panel was this drop-down for presets and you could

pick a number of those those have now been removed and replaced by these

buttons that you see at the top of the screen and there's only actually three

of them portrait beauty and boost some of the other presets that you had down

here such as wow and the enhanced black control have gone and at first I thought

that's a bit of a backwards step but it's not and the reason it's not is

because you've got this custom panel now or custom button that you can

actually create your own preset in and when you look at the manual for the

panel you can find all the original preset settings in the manual and that

allows you to actually create your own and I'll show you how to do that shortly

the other thing that I'm very impressed with is this small medium large and

custom button know what those relate to are the sizes of image that you've

created because if you're working on a very small image it becomes much more

sensitive to frequency separation than a large image so if I hover over small

what you can see is that it's looking at a camera size or an image size up to 16

megapixel so if you're shooting with micro four-thirds you'd probably want to

use that button then you've got the medium which is in the range of 16 to 32

megapixels and large it's going to be your large full-frame sensors 32

megapixels and over and again though you've got this custom option where you

can set up your frequency levels know what the frequency levels do is they

alter or affect these sliders here so at the moment you can see you've got zones

1 2 3 4 & 5 and each of those relates to a frequency level that you can enhance

I'm going to show you how all this works right now the easiest way to use the

equaliser Pro panel is to use preset so let's have a look at the portray preset

now at the moment what's happened is the adjustments here have been changed and

that affects whether we are enhancing or sharpening effectively or by increasing

contrast one of these zones so here the finest detail in the image is being

slightly sharpened when we go to the next level of detail that's being

slightly softened as it's the next one and then we've got some of their

enhancements going on here so where you see a positive value that's effectively

boosting the contrast in that area or that frequency and where you see a

negative value it's softening it or blurring it we also have this new

ability here to do edge and tone preservation so in the old version you

could actually damage or reduce the emphasis of edges in the image by using

the sliders this now allows you to protect it and it also protects tones

and you can change that to say whether or not you want to retain the strength

of the edges or you want to reduce them so the higher this goes

the more protection you've got now all the time that I'm making these

adjustments you can see down here we've got a layer that's actually got the

adjustments on it so that's the easiest way to actually adjust the image all the

changes you make apply to this new layer and if you find that effect too strong

so I should certainly top for a moment so there's the original there's the

adjust did effect you can also reduce the opacity now if you look over here

again at the panel what you'll see is as we said small medium and large and

custom so with custom what's happened is I've created my own custom frequency

distribution so let's have a look at how you do that down here we've actually got

this preferences and here we can create a custom preset and I have done that and

I'll show you what that is in a moment but you can also create these custom

frequencies now to help you understand what's going on you can see the small

medium and large adjustment levels here and you can see really how how fast they

increase in strength now I've actually done a lower strength so it's almost as

if I'm using an even smaller sensor camera but it's the result I want and as

I said we've got these other custom presets here that you can create so if I

save that now and I can go to the apply the custom preset using the custom

distribution this layer no shows my adjustments and of course if I don't

want to apply the adjustment to the entire image self Rach example the

clouds I can mask that out

and paint over the cloud area to stop it being enhanced by the adjustment

so that's the first way you can use the frequency distribution and that's the

easiest way I'm just going to delete that layer and I'm now going to add

exactly the same adjustments but this time I'm going to use the boost preset

now I find the boost preset just that little bit too strong for my taste with

this sort of image and actually what's happening here is the boost is being

applied too strongly to the darkest shadow areas for my taste now what we

can do is we can use some of this new slider features so if I just drag the

panel down just to lengthen it you can see that we've now got this protect

highlights and protect shadows so I'm now going to adjust that slider to

around 77 and what that's done is it's actually protected the shadow areas and

the way it's done it is it's created a mask

so if I hold down my Alt key or option key if you're using a Mac and click on

that you can see the mask that's been created so the adjustment is being

hidden from anywhere where you see black but it's applied to anywhere where you

see white and that allows us to control much better where the placement of the

adjustment is and again the highlights seem just a little bit too strong so I

can reduce those as well and that's created a better look in terms of what I

want so I'll delete that again know what I want to show you is this new quick

button so let's click it and the first thing you get are the pixel settings so

this is how much do you want to blur your background image in order to apply

the effect now if you don't understand what I'm talking about

go and take a look at my original frequency separation video where I

explained how it works in Photoshop and how I do it manually I'll put the

details in the text below and here I'm going to leave this at 6 because what I

want to do is create a sharpening effect on the buildings now I'll just move that

and we'll just pull this up a little bit and what you can see here is we've

actually got the low frequency which all the color information we got the

high frequency which is the detail so we've only got two layers and that's

very similar to how frequency separation is done by a lot of people and it's very

good for retouching it's also how I go about adding an ethereal effect to an

image all I need to do is duplicate this log frequency layer I'll set that now to

around 20 percent and I'll set this to soft light and that boosts the contrast

what I'll do now on this layer is I'll reduce the strength of that layer which

adds the sharpening and detail effect and what you get is this nice softening

effect so we've created a sort of Orton effect using that layer and that's one

of the ways that you can use the quick decompose method let's now have a look

at the other decompose method so I'll just delete that and I'm going to choose

custom preset with my custom radius and now although it's created a layer I'm

just going to hit decompose

and what we've now got is I just delete that to that layer we've now got the

effect that we created decomposed into lots of different layers at the moment

it's done something very strange to the sky but that's and that's actually the

caching in Photoshop that seems to have done that because if you zoom in onto

those that area it doesn't look quite like that the other thing is I would

actually hide that adjustment by masking out the sky so again I'd just paint out

that that area there

and what that leaves me with though is this adjustment that I can apply to each

of the different levels and you can see here 2 4 8 12 36 pixels and that's the

level of blurring that was created by my custom setting here and then we've

actually got the adjustments that are applied to it using this frequency

equalizer to each of these so you have a great deal of control over it

so in summary there's a great deal of thought that seems to have gone into

creating version two of this and it's added a lot of very nice features I know

some people have gone out and purchased the first version of this following my

previous video if you're one of those you'll be pleased to know that if you

purchase from the 1st of December which was previous to my video you actually

get the free upgrade to the new version no next week I'm going to actually go

back to doing some full-length editing workflows where I demonstrate how I edit

How To Use English Animal IDIOMS! 🐶🐱🐟 - Duration: 13:31.

Well hey there I'm Emma from mmmEnglish!

Now it's been a while since I've made you an

idioms lesson and since so many of you have been

asking for help with idioms lately, I thought

we'd better get to it!

There are just so many English idioms.

Do you remember what they are? They're phrases,

whose meaning is different to the individual meaning

of each of the words in the phrase.

They're a really tricky part of learning English.

There's lots of them, thousands!

And some idioms are more commonly used in

some countries but not in others which is a little bit

frustrating when you're trying to learn them, right?

Which ones are the ones that everyone uses?

There are some idioms that my American friends use

that I'm like, 'What?'

and ones that I use that go

straight over their head as well.

That's an idiom right there!

Native English speakers use them a lot.

They pop up in spoken English when it's really difficult

to, you know, fully understand them

or stop the conversation and ask about the meaning

of how it's used.

You're just sort of left wondering

'Why is he talking about an elephant?'

One little hint with idioms is that

there are probably some English idioms that are similar

to the ones that you have in your own language

like 'crows feet'.

Crows feet are the wrinkles that people get here

caused by a lifetime of laughing and smiles or

maybe too much squinting in the sun.

But in English they're called crows feet.

But these same wrinkles might have a similar idiom

as their name in your language. So if you do

have some sort of idiom for these wrinkles here,

I want you to add it to the comments right now because

I've heard a few of them before but I'm curious to see

just how many we can collect.

They're 'crows feet' in English.

They kind of look like a crows foot.

Now you may have seen some of my other

idioms lessons, I've made quite a few

but you can find all of them right here

on my idioms playlist.

I'll also link to it at the end of this lesson just in case

you want to keep practising

a little bit more with me later on.

But there's business idioms, weather idioms,

food idioms, holiday idioms, body idioms.

They're all there!

Now even though you probably feel like

idioms make a conversation confusing,

they're also really fun and they're a great

creative way to express yourself.

They really show off your English talents

like in a speaking exam for IELTS or TOEFL,

using an idiom correctly is quite impressive.

And before we get started, make sure you subscribe

to the channel just by clicking

that red button down there so that you can keep

up-to-date with what's happening!

So we're going to learn a few today.

We're going to go over some common animal idioms,

starting with this one.

'It's raining cats and dogs'

Now 'it's raining cats and dogs'

doesn't mean that cats and dogs are

falling out of the sky.

It means that it's raining and it doesn't just mean raining,

it means raining really hard. It's heavy rain.

It's really rainy!

Now to be totally honest,

I don't really use this idiom that much

but I come across it all the time in books.

So I wanted to include it here for you.

Usually I would say "It's bucketing down"

if it's raining really hard but

if it's raining cats and dogs,

it's probably best to stay inside.

Now speaking of cats, who let the cat out of the bag?

This idiom is used to talk about revealing a secret.

Now just imagine your sister told you that she was

flying home to surprise your mum for her birthday.

It's a secret, right?

You can't tell your mum

because it wouldn't be a surprise.

If you did, you would let the cat out of the bag.

Your sister might say

"Please don't tell Dad.

He'll definitely let the cat out of the bag."

The secret will be ruined because

dad can't keep a secret

and the party wouldn't be a surprise anymore, would it?

You can also ask the question:

Who told the secret?

Or you can apologise, you can say:

I may have spoiled the surprise.

Now I want to ask you,

have you got an addiction to something?

For me, it's coffee. I've got a coffee addiction.

I can't possibly give it up!

Well, the only way that I could do it is if I just went

cold turkey.

Now this one doesn't make much sense.

Picturing a turkey who's really, really cold

won't help you at all.

But if you go cold turkey it means that you

stop doing something completely, a hundred per cent.

And we usually use it to talk about quitting addictions

like smoking, coffee, drinking,

even social media addictions.

We all know someone who's addicted to their phone,

right?

Or maybe you are! Maybe you're addicted

to your phone. Maybe you can't put it down.

If you are, maybe you should think about

going cold turkey for a while.

So you'd delete Facebook, delete Twitter,

delete Instagram, Whatsapp, everything,

all forms of social media!

It has to be everything otherwise it's not cold turkey.

'Cold turkey' means a hundred per cent.

Absolutely no.

Now you can use two verbs with cold turkey.

You can either say "go cold turkey"

or you can "quit cold turkey"

though that's a little more American, American English.

So I'm curious, have you ever

quit anything cold turkey before

and completely stopped doing it?

Tell me in the comments.

Usually, it's not so easy to go cold turkey.

What do you think?

Okay for the next idiom I want you to think of someone

that you know who's very kind and gentle.

Well you can describe them by saying

they wouldn't hurt a fly.

Flies and mosquitoes are pretty annoying, aren't they?

Especially here in Australia!

So someone who wouldn't hurt a fly must be

so patient and kind, right?

So this is a really positive, affectionate idiom

and it's used to describe a person.

So you can also use this expression

to reassure someone.

If they're worried about trusting someone,

you might say to them

He's the nicest guy that you'll ever meet!

All right I think it's really time we talk about

the elephant in the room.

Have you ever heard of this idiom?

The elephant in the room is the thing that

nobody wants to talk about.

So it's quite specific, the way you use this idiom.

It's when people are talking normally

but they're all deliberately

not talking about a particular issue

but this issue is a big one. It's like a big, huge

elephant sitting in the middle of the room that

is really obvious and it's impossible

not to look at and you can see it, right?

But nobody's talking about it.

The issue is something really obvious

but everyone's ignoring it, right?

Or they're trying to avoid it

probably because it's an uncomfortable topic

or a difficult situation.

No one wants to talk about this, right?

Talking about money can be a little bit awkward,

especially with your boss.

This is a bad situation!

Why is no one in the room talking about it?

It's definitely what everyone's been thinking about.

Why haven't I been paid?

It's the elephant in the room.

We need to deal with this big issue, right?

This one is one of my favourite idioms.

It's one that I use a lot.

When you have butterflies in your stomach,

it's when you feel kind of nervous.

Do you know this feeling?

It's that feeling in your stomach right before

you walk on stage

to speak in front of a hundred people

and present your research.

It feels like you literally have butterflies flying around

inside your belly, right?

Now think of anything that makes you feel so nervous

that your tummy starts to feel a little funny.

This can be described as

butterflies in your stomach, right?

You can use it to describe good nervous feelings

or bad nervous feelings.

When was the last time

you had butterflies in your stomach?

Do you know this feeling?

Tell me about what makes you nervous

and when you had this feeling.

For me, if I see

police lights in the rear-vision mirror in my car

when I'm driving, I instantly get butterflies in my belly

even if I've done nothing wrong!

You can say 'stomach' or 'belly' here.

'Belly' is just a little more informal,

it's an informal way to say 'stomach'.

Now you might also hear people just say

"I've got butterflies"

and they're talking about this same idiom

unless that person has a jar of

butterflies with them in their pocket,

then they might be saying it and literally mean it

but that's unlikely, right?

So here's the next idiom: 'a fish out of water'

Now if you see someone who is

uncomfortable in a specific situation

like your grandma, if she walked into a nightclub.

Then they look like a fish out of water.

She would feel like a fish out of water,

really uncomfortable, right?

She would feel completely awkward in a nightclub

unless you've got a super cool granny.

Or maybe when you get invited to a party

but everyone is a native English speaker,

you might feel a little like a fish out of water there.

Okay we've got time for one more idiom.

'to open a can of worms'

Imagine a can full of worms.

It's full of long, wriggling,

squirming worms that are all twisted together.

So when you open that can of worms,

you're going to have a big mess.

They're going to go everywhere!

It's probably going to be really difficult to clean up

and try and catch them all, right? You'll have

a lot more problems than when you started.

It's easier when they're in the can but if you open it

there's going to be problems.

Or

So if you don't want to create a tricky situation, then

don't open the can of worms, right? It's simple!

So those are some of the common animal idioms

that I tend to use quite often but there are more.

Do you know any other ones in English?

Or can you share the meaning of any animal idioms

in your own language?

Perhaps there are some similar ones in English

and we can chat about them in the comments.

And make sure you try and use

some of the new idioms that you've learnt in this lesson

below in the comments.

I'll try and give you some feedback and help you

to make sure you're using them correctly.

Craft Room Organizing Tips and Ideas! Managing Your Crafty Mess with Storage Hacks - Duration: 8:56.

Hello! If we haven't met, I'm Lauren, and my craft room is pretty much always

messy. I clean it when I have totally caught up with work, which is not often,

and then I do a couple of big projects and my toddler comes in and empties all

of the drawers of supplies onto the floor, and less than a week later, it is a

disaster again. We have reached the time of year when I start thinking that if it

gets messy this fast, something's wrong. I might need to reorganize things and find

more places to put my tools and supplies. So today, I'm going to share some of the

tips and tricks I've learned and some of the ways that I am currently solving my

craft room organization problems. Number one, if you are organizing your supplies

for the first time, just completely starting from scratch, whether that means

you just bought a bunch of new supplies that you need to organize, or you just

moved and you need to figure out how you want to organize things in a new space, I

like to empty out everything I have onto the floor and sort them into piles by

category. I actually did this for my current craft room when we first moved

in a few years ago, before there was any furniture in here at all. I had a totally

empty room, so I just dumped everything, all of my craft supplies, all of my tools,

and I sorted them by the kind of craft so that when I want to do a project, I

can go to a specific drawer or shelf or box and have everything I needed in

there. Doing this helps in a number of ways. It lets you see how many containers

you need and how big those containers need to be. If your sewing pile is

enormous, you should probably have quite a bit of storage for sewing supplies. But

if you only have a small amount of things like paper clips and other office

supplies, you know that you can have a smaller container or drawer for those

things. And then once you have designated where to put each of those specific

piles, put them away and label them if you can. I have this big set of cube

shelves that I got from Michaels and all of the drawers that are closed up have a

little place where you can stick a label and that's been extremely helpful

because I actually remember where things are supposed to go and I know exactly

where to put them back when I'm done with them. That way, you can find things

quickly and it also encourages you to put things away when you're done with

them, which is I think one of the reasons why my craft supplies are always so

messy. I don't always put them back. So let's just skip ahead a few years, let's

just say you found a place for everything and you put everything away

and years have gone by and it's not working for you anymore, for whatever

reason. Over time as you are using these supplies, you might notice that some of

the supplies don't get used as often as other ones. If there's a drawer that

contains a kind of craft supply that you have not used in years, consider cleaning

that out and making space for things that you use more often. I know that I

have plenty of space for my craft supplies, but you wouldn't be able to

tell by seeing how many things are out of their place right now and so that

tells me that my current situation is not working for me. So I actually looked

at all of these drawers that I have. I can tell you I have not done any

knitting since I moved here. I have not done anything with polymer clay since I

moved here. So I actually emptied out the knitting drawer and the polymer clay

drawer, I took those supplies, went through them all, got rid of anything

that I thought I would probably never need, and moved the rest of them into a

big clear bin that I could put down in our basement. I'm always doing a lot of

different kinds of craft projects, which is why it's so great to have storage for

a lot of different kinds of supplies here, but I don't use all of them very

often. So if I get an idea for a knitting project or a polymer clay project, all I

have to do is go down to the basement and get those supplies, but they don't

need to be in here all the time. Going through the drawers that I haven't

opened in a while also gives me an opportunity to get rid of anything that

I think I probably won't use again. That leaves me so much more space for

journaling supplies, which I've been collecting a lot more of and I use way

more often lately. The next thing that I like to do when I'm reorganizing my

craft space is to look at the things that typically get left out. That

information is important because it will tell me what isn't working about my

current organizational setup. I can tell you right now, I have a lot of gift

wrapping supplies on my floor left over from Christmas that I still haven't

moved. That is because of the spot for my gift wrap is in my closet and my closet

was a complete disaster until about yesterday. Knowing that I needed to do

something about the current location of the gift wrap led me to my closet. I

cleaned out so much stuff that I really don't need anymore and now I have a lot

more spaces to put things. Another thing that ends up on my floor a

lot lately are spools of ribbons and it's not that they don't have a place,

it's that the place is very low to the ground and they are the first thing that

my son goes for when he comes into this room. He unravels the spools of ribbons

and it's just so much fun, it keeps him happy for a while, and then I have to

spend like half an hour re-rolling up all the spools of ribbons. So that tells me

they need a new location and fast or my room is just gonna continue to be a

giant ribbon covered disaster. I also don't use my collection of ribbon that

often, so it doesn't need to be in quite so accessible a location. So I found a

shoebox, filled it up with ribbon spools, and put them up higher in my closet

where my kid cannot reach them. Also, my desk is covered in pens, markers and

other writing utensils because I've been doing a lot of journaling lately. I use

them all really often and so they just kind of stay on my desk and that tells

me that my current set-up for pens is full, first of all, so I don't have a way

to put things back into it. You might remember the Hogwarts castle desk

organizer that I made here on my channel a few years ago, I still love it, but it

is full. So that tells me that I need more pen storage and I'm working on that

at the moment. That way, the next time you get the urge to leave that item on the

floor or on your desk, you won't, you will have a better place to put it and it

will keep things cleaner a little bit longer hopefully. If you find yourself

working on more than one project at a time, designate a place like a tray or a

box that you can move what you are currently working on to keep it to the

side. I often find myself running into trouble when I have a really messy desk

but I need to clean it off so that I can film a DIY video for a different project.

But I don't necessarily want to put back everything that I was just using, because

the next time I want to work on that project, I'll have to go and find

everything again. So I bought one of these three tiered carts that I see on

Pinterest all the time and I'm using the bottom two tiers for projects that I am

currently working on. That way they're right here, and I can grab them and move

them back onto my desk when I'm ready to start again. I mentioned that I just

reorganized my closet and something that I found when I was going through there

is that I don't need a lot of the stuff that was in there and I hadn't seen it

in probably two years. This is something that I've just learned from that

experience, is that you should resist the urge to pile things in your closet.

Honestly, I find myself doing that most often when I am cleaning and I come

across something kind of large that I don't really need again immediately and

so it just gets pushed in there. But when you have just a giant pile and it's so

easy to shut that closet door and not think about it, you're not going to be

able to find anything in there. It's going to take a lot of

work and effort just to go back through and get that thing out when you need it

again. So to me, I feel like that's not a really good use of space. I could be

using that closet a lot more often and I have a lot of stuff in here, I need

places to put it. Instead, maybe install some shelves so that you can put things

in places where you can see them and they're not all piled on top of one

another and you can pull one thing out without the whole pile crashing down in

an avalanche of craft supply mayhem. I actually acquired a broken set of cube

shelves that used to be in our front hall closet, but we bought new cube

shelves for that and so I thought I probably could still use the broken set

and so I put them in my closet and now I can actually reach a bunch of the stuff

that's in there. It's way more functional, crossing my fingers that it doesn't just

become a giant mess again really quickly. Especially if your craft space is shared

with another room in your house like mine was for a really long time, it's so

important that you have functional places that you can put your craft

supplies that you're using most often. Also, don't be afraid to reorganize

things if your craft space stops working for you like mine did. I find that my

interests are constantly evolving and so my craft space and the way that I

organize them needs to evolve as well. I know that it can also help to see other

makers' spaces. I was looking at all kinds of different pictures and videos online

in order to get inspiration for my current reorganization plan. My craft

room is currently a giant mess 'cause I'm still in the process of reorganizing it

but I did film a craft room tour if you would like to see what it looked like

back when it was clean. I will put a link to that video in the cards above as well

as in the video description below if you would like to see it. In the comments

below, tell me if you have any great organizing tips and hacks that have

helped you. Everyone needs something different, has different kinds of craft

supplies, and is working in different kinds of spaces so maybe we can all

Credit vs Debit Card - What's the Difference?💳 - Duration: 4:48.

- In this episode of Office Hours,

we're gonna talk some financial literacy basics.

What is the difference

between a credit card and a debit card?

Let's get right at it.

The most important difference to note

is that a debit card is money that you have,

and a credit card is money that you don't have.

I think that's the simplest

and the easiest way to explain those.

But if you wanna do a little bit more nerdy,

you have to go back to the double entry

that bookkeepers use to segregate assets and liabilities.

Now, the relationship that you need to understand

with a particular debit card is the relationship

between the bank that holds your money,

and the vendor where you spend it, right?

Because the bank is looking at your account as a liability.

It's not their money, it's your money,

and so decreases to that balance

is going to look like a debit,

a deduction, and that is what bookkeepers would use

to show deductions in liabilities is debits.

With a credit card, it's a little different.

That is the relationship

between you and a credit card company.

Now, I know credit card companies and banks are

pretty much synonymous nowadays,

but bear with me on this analogy

in that the credit card company is going to see

any purchases, and swipes you made, as credits,

increasing the amount of money that you owe them, right?

So these credits would increase a liability,

whereas the example before,

the bank's liabilities are being decreased by debits.

So that is the whole notion around the nomenclature,

if you will, for a credit and a debit card.

Now, whether you would wanna have one or the other

kinda depends on you.

For me, I'm the kinda conservative guy,

that I don't always want direct access to my bank account

in a particular transaction, so I'll swipe my credit card

and then pay it off at the end of the month.

But it does really depend on you,

because you gotta have a level of comfort

with how you spend your money,

and where you spend your money,

and what account or types of accounts

do you use to fund that particular purchase.

Another question you may have is what happens

when you run your debit card as a credit.

You know, often, you're at the supermarket line,

or wherever you're at, and then vendor may ask you,

do you wanna run this as a credit or debit,

and you're swiping your debit card.

What this means is really nothing to you.

It may affect how long it takes for the funds

to finally draft out of your account,

but nowadays it's pretty much next-day,

sometimes even the same day,

depending on the time of the day

that you've done the purchase,

but really, what the impact is, is behind the scenes,

it's to the vendor.

It costs the vendor a little bit more to process

a credit transaction through the interchange fees

that they have to use, whether it be American Express,

Discover, Mastercard, whatnot, Visa.

Those costs are a little bit higher than a debit,

which is processed a little differently,

so the cost that is borne by the vendor

is really the reason why they ask that particular question.

Last but not least, you may ask,

is it safer to use a debit versus a credit card?

Ah, it's all relative nowadays, you know.

Everything is so hackable nowadays, and you know,

cyber theft is one of those things that you

have to really be cognizant of,

and so I think it goes back to

your personal preference about what you want to expose,

because I would say the safest bet would be to have

a service that monitors both, or all,

of your social security, your credit card numbers,

and your bank accounts,

so that you have some type of protection in that way.

There's no 100% guarantee that you will not be

a victim of identity theft.

What I will say, though, about credit card companies,

is that's not recourse debt, right?

They cannot collateralize your assets,

it's usually non-secure debt,

that they cannot collateralize your assets

in order to pay the loan, or pay the debt.

So that is a positive in some cases, I guess,

if you don't believe in paying your debts,

but if you do believe in paying your debts,

which most of you do, I think the way to go

is to have some type of insurance,

some type of protection on your purchases

through an identity theft protection service,

like Identity Guard or LifeLock,

they all offer these type of services,

where you can have your socials, your bank accounts,

and your credit cards monitored for the various uses

that you'll be using those things for.

Locals rush to bag 80,000 cans of beer scattered across street - Daily News - Duration: 2:43.

This is the moment locals were sent into a looting frenzy after 80,000 cans of beer were spilled from an over-turned lorry.

Driver Somporn Primjarus, 58, was delivering the boxes to a warehouse when he lost control on a corner and toppled over on January 11 in Phuket, southern Thailand.

The cans of fresh Leo beer were sent sprawling onto the road - causing hundreds of residents to descend on the scene and loot the alcohol after the crash at sunrise.

Driver Somporn said: 'I was only one kilometre away from the logistics centre which was waiting for the beer.

'I went round the corner and could not keep control of the truck. I don't know how it happened. I think the road was slippy or because it was dark.'

Several street food stalls, cars, and shop fronts were damaged also damaged, causing more chaos in the area.

Locas rushed to the area to collect the beer - prompting police to warn that they could be arrested for theft.

Four residents were indeed later arrested for theft. Lieutenant Colonel Sompong Thip-aphakun from Phuket City Police said that the investigation would look at the causes of the crash and the subsequent thefts.

He said: 'In the case of an accident, the traffic officer must investigate the truck driver due to the damage to the properties. Another part is the group of people who went to collect cans. They can be charged for theft.

'The logistics company who owns the beer trailer has reported the thefts. Officers will proceed the investigation which is not difficult since there are clips and pictures posted in the social media.'

Following the police warning, several locals returned the stolen beer to the scene of the accident then quickly disappeared before they could be caught.

Lieutenant Colonel Sompong Thip-aphakun said that four people had been arrested and fined over the incident.

I Caught My Girl With Her Boss | Main Chick vs Side Chick Chp 11 | Hip Hop - Duration: 10:08.

Main Chick vs Side Bitch Chapter 11

DeWayne

I was spending my night at a party to celebrate my girl-becoming partner but right now I felt

like I was at an execution.

These people were killing me with their bullshit and stupid ass conversation.

I had on a suit because Keke demanded I put one on but I didn't give a fuck about impressing

these rich motherfuckas.

So instead of mingling I stayed over by the bar, counting the seconds until ten o'clock

because that was exactly when I told her we were leaving.

But instead of being able to drink my vodka in peace I was having this awkward ass conversation

with one of her bosses.

"So your Kiara's fiance, correct?"

This dude Mr. Puzder was the best example for an uncle Tom ass nigga that I have ever

seen.

He was in front of me drinking a gin and tonic.

I have never seen a nigga drink a gin and tonic and he talked like he was a white boy

that sprayed himself black.

I instantly didn't like this motherfucka, from the moment Kiara introduced him to me

and when I tried to get away and get a drink at the bar he seemed to follow me like the

motherfucka wanted to be my friend.

"Yeah, that's my baby.""Hmmm...and what is it that you do?"

This motherfucka was nosy.

I sipped my vodka before I answered this motherfucka as I tried not to say some crazy shit."I'm

an entrepreneur.

I own a salon and apparel store…"

He started laughing before I got my sentence out."Ohhh I admire little small business

owners like you.

The balls of a walrus but the brain of a dinosaur."

Did this motherfucka just call me stupid?I looked around for Kiara, because either this

motherfucka was drunk or he was a straight up bitch.

Either way, I was ready to go.

There were so many people in the ballroom that it was hard for me to find Kiara but

I finally saw her.

Somehow she looked my way just as I was looking at her way.

"Well, you do have to have big nuts to go after your dreams."

I gulped down my vodka, standing tall and fixing my suit as Kiara walked over with another

woman.

"Ms. Puzder this is my fiancee DeWayne.""Ohh so nice to meet you.

I know you are proud of your leading lady here."

The sister seemed too down to earth to be with this clown ass nigga.

I pulled Kiara close as I answered the dick head's wife while he stood looking stupid."Well

yes, it is a very proud moment when a strong woman like Kiara reaches such an accomplishment."

The Mr. Puzder motherfucka laughed a little bit but his wife ignored it.

"That's nice.

So when are you two getting married?"

Kiara looked at me but she opted to answer that question."I'm thinking when I finally

get my case load under control so probably in the next six months.""Have you picked

a location?""Ummm no, not yet."

Hell no we hadn't picked a location because I wasn't ready to get married, I didn't

say that but of course the Puzder motherfucka had to say something. You should get married

at the Grand Laury hotel.

Lovely place."

I had heard of that place but I couldn't remember where I heard it."Oh yes, Chris

just took me there for our twentieth anniversary last week."

Kiara started coughing as she said that and the Puzder dude looked like he wanted to laugh."It's

a beautiful place.

Be sure to check there for sure.""What is the name again?"

I asked them trying to remember where I saw it."Its the Grand Laury Hotel.

Downtown it's a huge building with an AMAZING view."

I ran through my brain trying to remember and it came to me.

That was the same name of the hotel from that key I found in Kiara's purse.

"Yep, me and the wife have been going for years.

It's my favorite place, you two should get married there.

Right Kiara."

She wasn't talking, she was too busy shaking her head and sipping her wine."Well, it's

getting late Mr. and Mrs. Puzder.

We're going to slide on out."

She shook both of their hands and I watched as she got to him, how he held Kiara's hand

just a few seconds longer than he should have. How his eyes searched over her body was some weird

shit."Nice meeting you Deraye," he mispronounced my name, I wanted to punch his bitch ass but

I kept it nice.

"It's DeWayne.""Oh yeah...sorry."

He smiled but he wasn't sorry.

He gave me a handshake and I squeezed his hand back just as hard as he squeezed mine.

"Got a good handshake there.

You know your fiance likes a good shake."

I thought I heard him wrong, he said the shit so low that I thought I was hearing things."What

you say?"

He didn't repeat it.

Instead, he grabbed his wife and walked away as I followed Kiara out the ballroom and down

a hall towards valet.

As she talked about the night, my mind was doing fucking cartwheels over what I just

heard him say.

You know your fiance likes a good shake."Baby, do you have the valet ticket?"

She smiled but I didn't find shit funny.

I handed her the ticket as I watched her.

Thinking of how just a week ago she had a key to the same hotel that the motherfucka

was talking about.

She never mentioned him but now he was an expert in everything about us and talking

to me like he knew some shit about me.

"So is your boss always like that?"

She froze when I asked her about him."What do you mean?""An asshole, a dickhead,

a bitch...is he always like that?"

She shook her head.

"No, he's just being funny."

She laughed and I didn't once again as the valet pulled up with the car.

I got in the driver side of my Benz and the valet closed the passenger door for Kiara.

I sped off the lot, not burning rubber but damn close.

"What's wrong?"

I didn't feel well, something wasn't right and I was going to get to the bottom of the

shit."Some shit don't feel right."

I told her as I hopped on the highway pushing my new car to eighty miles an hour."C'mon

with that shit DeWayne, you do this every time I try to take you somewhere."

"No the fuck I don't" "You never wanna do anything with me so you always get this

dumb ass madness going on."

I was pissed but I wasn't imagining this shit."Yeah, you would be the same way."

I told her as I made my way home not even wanting to go over this in the car.

I sped faster as she shut up and I turned on the music.

The louder the radio was, the clearer my thoughts came at me.

The fact that he was talking about that hotel to all the other little remarks he made but

the last one took the cake.

We got home in record time, pulling into the parking lot.

I was about to get out but I stopped Kiara before she got set both of her feet out the

door."Has he tried something with you?""Come on DeWayne what the fuck?"

I didn't understand why she was getting so mad.

"Did he?""No...he is…""TELL ME THE FUCKING TRUTH!"

I know what I felt and I felt that something wasn't right."You don't have to yell

I told you…"

I got out of the car before she could finish her lie.

Slamming the door, I opened the door to the apartment in record time.

"Look, don't be slamming the car…"

I grabbed her ass as she came into the house, slamming her back against the front door."DID

YOU FUCK HIM?""No…""No?

Then what the fuck did he mean you like to be shaken?""What...I" I shook her ass,

right there in the living room door I shook her as hard as I could."Stop it, your hurting

me.""DID YOU FUCK HIM!"

I screamed at her, squeezing her shoulders.

She didn't say a word, she just looked at me.

The tears filling her eyes and I knew that moment and at that second that she had sex

with that smug motherfucka.

"DAMMIT Kiara...DAMN!"

I punched at the wall, the drywall folding under my fist but it was better than punching

her."I'm sorry…"

She was crying, sliding down the wall to the floor as I paced back and forth ready to punch

another wall.

"I didn't mean."

I threw a vase against the wall.

Flowers and water crashing to the wall shutting her up.

"I'm leaving."

I wasn't dealing with this shit."Wait baby...we can talk about this.""AIN'T

SHIT TO TALK ABOUT!"

I screamed at her, pushing her to the side as she tried to grab me.

I walked out the door.In my suit and all, I walked to my car, got in and pulled out

before I fucked her up."FUCK!"

I screamed to the car, punching the steering wheel.Bitches can't do what we do, especially

not to a nigga like me.

I sailed down the road wanting to fuck somebody up.

My main chick wasn't my main no more, she had fucked somebody else and I was ready to

kill a motherfucka over it.

No matter how many bitches I fucked, Kiara's pussy belonged to me and she had broken the

cardinal rule.

Don't ever give my pussy away...I always told her that.

This was a fucked up night and as I gripped the wheel I knew only one thing was going

to help me get over this shit.

And that was more pussy.

Celebrating Accessibility, Kingston Circus Arts! - Duration: 1:24.

My name is Jane Kirby and I am an instructor with Kingston Circus Arts.

Circus at its best is about celebrating what diverse kinds of bodies can do, and

so it only makes sense that we would start to be expanding that to include

the disabled community. When we exclude people we not only deny them the

opportunity to try a really amazing fun activity, but we're also denying

ourselves the magic and creativity that can happen when we're co-creating.

We're really lucky as coaches at Kingston Circus Arts to be working under

owner and director Erin Ball who is a leader in adapting circus for amputees

but is also really working on making circus radically accessible.

I'm Jane Kirby, an instructor at Kingston Circus Arts, and we're proud to be accepting a

2018 Celebrating Accessibility Award.

Turecka toaleta kucana - alaturka | Kawa po turecku - Duration: 4:51.

Merhaba! Today I'm coming with another video from the east of Turkey!

Being on a trip we sightsee, we go shopping, we eat in restaurants…

But sometimes we have to use the toilet…

Turkish squat toilet

You probably don't associate squat toilet with Turkey but with some other countries like Japan or India.

But such a toilet also exists in Turkey.

Squat toilet means alaturka in Turkish and the flush toilet that we know from Europe means alafranga here.

In most Turkish homes there are both types of toilet to choose from.

So as in the flat in which I am living now.

When Europeans see a squat toilet, they are surprised and they immediately think:

"What a fusty, uncivilized country!"

But in fact, such type of toilet is healthier than European toilet is.

Cause this is our natural position to use the toilet – squatting indeed.

And it is far more hygienic because we don't touch anything and we don't sit on anything.

I don't want to go into details here.

If you are interested in this topic, I'll put links to some articles in the description box.

You can read them. There'll be articles in Polish, Turkish and English so feel free to check them out.

Travelling in the west of Turkey you probably won't see a squat toilet that much.

It's not so popular there anymore.

But it still can happen sometimes that you find it, mostly on petrol stations

or in traditional, local restaurants called lokanta.

Even though there are usually both types of toilet to choose from there so it's not a big deal.

Here in the east of Turkey things look a little bit different though.

That's why I've decided to check 7 different restaurants and cafes in our town – Erciş,

to find out what type of toilet is available there.

As you could see, out of 7 places there were 3 with a squat toilet only,

3 with a flush toilet only and 1 with both types to choose from.

So fifty fifty I would say.

And if you have no choice, how to use a squat toilet?

It's actually very simple.

Just like you do that outdoors.

Here are some anti-slip parts to place your feet on so we are standing here.

And we squat.

And that's it.

In a squat toilet there is usually such a flush, kind of a valve. You can easily flush the toilet using it.

And if it doesn't work, there is always such a tap with a container under

and you have to go with it then.

My Turkish viewers might find this video a little bit awkward.

First reason is that a squat toilet is something very normal for them

and they are surprised when we - Europeans are surprised seeing it.

The second reason is that such a topic is kind of a taboo in Turkey.

You shouldn't talk about it so openly here.

It's mostly visible in public places like restaurants.

It's inappropriate to ask: "Where is the toilet?", it's better to ask: "Where is lavabo?" – a washbasin.

Have you ever seen a squat toilet and was it in Turkey or in other country?

What was your reaction? What do you think about it?

Let me know in the comments down below and see you in the next video.

If you don't want to miss it subscribe to my channel. And see you next week! Bye!

353 UNION PADLOCK FROM UKLOCKPICKA GANZUADO, SPP sub eng - Duration: 8:14.

hello guys, welcome again

the lock I have for you today is an UNION padlock

made in England, it was sent me by my friend UKlockpickA, thank you very much buddy

I do not know how old you may be, I do not know if consider it vintage

may be, it's very nice

has been used as you can see it has had a hard life and

and it has a very nice patina

this is the keyway

the keyway has a characteristic shape,

I had never seen it until I had a UNION

I picked recently

this other one that I think is older

The keyway, although it seems different, is the same

in one it is much more worn that in the other

here we can see the keyway as it is originally, it is much more restrictive

with this guard and this one,

fortunately you can work from below and place the tensioner very well here in this wide part

I do not know why they make it that wide but

but it facilitates the wrench placement

it is not a difficult pick,

but it is very interesting

and the pins are apparently set as if they were serrated

It's very nice to pick, very nice to pick,

laborious,

I do not know what kind of pins it has inside,

but as I say the feelings that they would be small serrated or small spools

that are clicking and the plug make slight turns

until the opening

one of the difficulties lies in the plug, it has a very strong spring

and you have to do a lot of tension to move it

and however it is convenient to set the pins with little tension

so you can have the lock open without realizing

I'm going to use this homemade wrench

made with wipr insert and this Peterson pick let's try

we zoom in,

we go from the beginning

medium tension

first nothing, second nothing

let's see... third

fourth

the fifth is binding

one click, two...

first, second asks, one click, two

third nothing

fourth nothing

fifth nothing

let's see, first is binding

make one click and a turn on the core

it´s still binding

one click and another turn on the core, is what I was saying

they do not behave like spools,

second one click

third is set, fourth a slight click

fifth nothing, let's see

first it seems set

second...

it seems set, third one click

from time to time I greatly increase the tension to see if it opens

fifth nothing

First

second seems set

third...

fourth...

fifth nothing

first, some are missing a bit

but it is not easy to locate which pin is the one that is binding

If I do a lot of tension I do not notice anything, and if I do not do tension, I do not move the plug

let´s see

fifth

fourth

something that escapes us

second

third

In addition, the core stays...

still, even if there is no tension, don´t go back,

there it is, the third one has clicked

I'm going to release tension, I helps the counterotation of the core with the pick

First...

when I have release tension I have lost everything

first, second one click

third nothing, fourth a click

let's see that fourth

First

second

third

fourth, I think the fourth is not well setted

it's a very interesting picking

there it is. when I touches the fourth

by touching the fourth it has made a small click

and opens,

let's see... I think it's open,

the shackle has no spring, there it is

it has some rust that's why it gets stuck, but it has no spring

here we have it

even though the plug has a very strong spring, it stays hooked,

I think it's rusty

It is very difficult to move

it will have to be lubricated

but I did not want to lubricate it

because if I get a blank I would like impress a key,

and if I put in oil

then I will not be able to print it the key correctly

let's see if we can,

It is very difficult to close it, there it is, as you see it goes very hard, it has rust

but we have made the picking,

I have the intrigue of knowing what kind of pins it has inside

if they are serrated or something similar because that is how they behave

it's a very nice padlock, very rare here in Spain

UNION

thank you very much Dave for the padlock

I thank you very much, it stays in my collection

and for all of you, I hope you liked it, that it will be useful for you

and thank you very much for your time, bye ;o))
