so 2018 has been a roller coaster of a ride I started the year off thinking my

channel was going to be more Christian mommy content and as I went through the

year I started noticing that you all really loved my party game ideas

especially my Christmas party game my Easter one was a big hit I had a summer

one and a Valentine's Day a summer and pool noodle ones that just I started

noticing that that was what you all were coming to this channel for so um nope in

November I decided to focus more on making those party games so if you

noticed my Christmas videos I just got through filming my last Christmas videos

of 2018 which is why we still have the Christmas set up here but I had so much

fun doing those and I've always had a spirit of fun wanting fun in my family

so here's here's the truth of it all you guys is I actually struggle I can't believe

I'm gonna admit this on camera but I actually struggle with having fun

with my family and I tend to get very stressed out and I want to spend 2019

every year I'm getting ahead of myself every year I pick out a word for the

year that kind of focuses just my life and so my word this year I picked out is

play so not just fun but actual play and I want to play more with my family with

the end goal of experiencing more fun and more laughter and less stressed out

mommy and less which tends to stress out family I want us to have fun

together and I really struggled with making the Christmas party games in 2018

because I found that I wanted all the games to be perfect and I wanted them

all to be fun and then there were these little gems and little moments

throughout the filming where I really saw our family come out and laugh we had

this one game with stickers where we kept sticking stickers on each

other throughout the day and there was just so much laughter and I want more of

that I want more laughter in my life and in

my family's lives and I want to not be so serious all the time and so I think

you guys have really helped find that in me by really enjoying my party games

content of always new a party games and I've played tons of party games working

as a children's minister at various churches and those were always some of

the most fun things that I did I loved the planning that goes into them and I

love just seeing the joy on kids faces and so I want to bring that more home

and just be more joyful and bring out the laughter I'm a person who loves to

laugh I laugh a lot but I also like simple games easy games so that's what

you're gonna find on this channel and 2019 in 2019 are simple quick easy fun

family fun party games to help your family have fun together

because I want my family to have fun so I want to share that with you all hi my

che finiscono per mettersi davanti alla cinepresa.

e poi l'operatore deve mantenere il respiro tanto quanto me, visto che non possono esserci le bolle.

Perciò non è molto pratico...e poi i combattimenti non possono essere così.

Ma Zack ha avuto un'idea molto forte: mostrare il fondo dell'oceano e guardare la scena

come da un sottomarino. Ho trovato fortissima l'idea di questi occhi nell'oscurità

che poi si rivelano Aquaman.

Il film tratta di pressioni e di aspettative.

"Atlanna voleva che fossi il ponte per unire due mondi", hai presente?

Ti immedesimi in questo? Insomma, si tratta del tuo primo film in solitario...

Non so se si tratta di semplice stupidità, ma non mi sento così tanto sono pressione.

Non penso di dovermi assicurare di avere successo per evitare il fallimento.

Ho fatto molte cose nella mia carriera che si sono rivelate dei fallimenti.

Ma ho fatto del mio meglio. Quando giri un film ci sono tante parti che lavorano alla realizzazione di un film.

Perciò sono felicissimo che al momento sembra esser piaciuto molto al pubblico.

Tu l'hai visto due volte e ti è piaciuto,

ma avrebbe comunque potuto rivelarsi un fallimento. Non so se mi spiego.

My mother and father are from Nigeria.

They came to the UK in the 1950s.

In '62, they went back to Nigeria

and my mother and father lost contact with me.

I was brought up in a children's home.

Initially, I cried a lot.

When I got to 12, I realised I had to be self-sufficient,

that within me,

there was enough to survive.

I built on that surviving to thrive.

I had this mindset

that enabled fear to work for me.

For some people, fear holds them down.

They can't move.

But fear released me so that I didn't die.

(LEVEL 2 - TRAINING)

I joined the army in '75,

and I met a guy called Sergeant Ian Mackenzie.

He was the athletic officer in my very first unit.

He was the one who saw in my sports that I had potential.

He also logged all my successes

and told everybody about it.

All of a sudden, I was getting positive affirmation,

not just from him,

but also my colleagues and peers in the army base.

The training is arduous.

It's endurance-based.

It's speed-based.

There was discipline, and I needed discipline.

The army's not for everybody, but it was my cup of tea.

I spent four years getting ready for the Olympic Games.

(YOU MADE IT!)

(LOS ANGELES 1984)

It's Hollywood!

They do things large, brash, big, bold,

and in Technicolor!

I was a young man, 25 years of age.

I'd never, ever crossed the pond before.

Moonwalking everywhere.

You got the jet-pack man flying in.

It was just crazy!

And here I was, in the middle of it.

I'm an English boy, fish and chips.

It was far out.

Todd Bennett, Phil Brown, Garry Cook -

I'd squeezed myself into that team in 1984.

We were real great friends, real great colleagues,

real great competitors.

So, with that sort of fraternity,

you learn to love one another.

My mouth goes dry, butterflies in my stomach.

I'm bubbling. I'm frightened.

Bam!

Before I know, I'm exploding out of my blocks.

The first 60 meters, I'm giving it all that I've got.

It's a sprint.

I'm listening to my stride.

I kick in that turbo charger.

I go into that second bend.

I notice now that I'm closing down on some competitors.

My legs are going wobbly, and I'm flowing in.

And I see Garry, and Garry presents his hand,

and Garry recognises I'm spent.

Garry Cook, he was a schoolteacher.

He's disciplined enough to stay in his lane

for that first 100 metres of that second leg.

(GO!)

I look over the high-jump pit.

I see Garry flowing down the back straight.

Garry's fourth. We're in great shape.

Todd gets it.

The horns of Bennett come out of his head

as he grits his teeth.

Todd was very, very small.

People always used to say to him,

"Yeah, you're really, really good,

"but can you hack it with the big boys?"

I always felt that Todd had something to prove

and proved it by beating the big boys.

Todd does his bit.

Phil Brown was a really serious,

philosophical-type athlete

who had no interest in athletics.

"Who's he? Is he good? What time does he run?"

"Phil, he's the American champion!"

"Oh, good. What time does he run?"

With his nostrils flaring and his arms flailing,

Phil makes a break and then goes past the Nigerian

in the last 100 metres.

We are Olympic silver medallists.

(2ND PLACE!)

It was my moment

where I became a world-class performer

on the international stage.

It was a family.

We were great friends.

I was just a small kid from a children's home

who used to get in trouble at school,

and here I am, actually accepting this

on behalf of the country.

Look at that flag and think, "This was because of us."

It was awesome.

(LEVEL 3 - GOAL!)

Which Section of the GREAT WALL OF CHINA Should You Visit? | Abandoned or Restored - Duration: 14:08.

Crowds.

Constant queuing.

Overpriced cafes.

Cable cars and even a toboggan ride.

Yet this is not a theme park.

This is the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China.

An estimated 5 million people visit this stretch of wall every single year, making it the 2nd

most popular section for tourists.

It's busy, it's noisy and it feels quite new.

It doesn't have to be like this.

The Great Wall of China has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember.

It is incredible up here.

But at over 21,000 kilometres long, it's hard to know where to start.

Should you visit a restored or ruined section?

An easily accessible or a remote section?

Full on forest on top of the Great Wall of China.

We travelled out to three very different sections of the wall with three very different vibes.

All with their own unique strengths and obstacles.

In search of the best way to experience this wonder of the world.

My name is Ryan and this is Emma and welcome to a very special episode of the One Shot

Adventures China Series.

Good morning, welcome to Beijing.

We just left our very cool hostel in the city and we're heading to Wanjing subway station

to get on a bus to see the Great Wall for the first time.

So very very exciting.

Today we're heading to a section of the wall called Jinshanling.

Which is slightly further away than some of the more popular sections like Badaling.

It's also only half restored, so we should get that nice blend of kind of ruined sections

of the wall and stuff that looks quite new.

Just starting to get our first glimpses of the wall now.

The bus drops you off at sort of a service station and then from there there's supposed

to be a free shuttle bus but it wasn't there when we arrived so we just got a taxi.

We paid 40 Yuan each which is way too much, but we're a little bit short on time today,

so it had to do.

Although it has all of the same amenities as a busy section of the wall, Jinshanling

was pretty empty.

Being that slightly further away from the city can make a huge difference.

Cosy.

As we started climbing up in the cable car, I started to feel pretty excited.

This is something I've wanted to do since I was very young so to me this was like meeting

Mickey Mouse for the first time, but in wall form.

I'm having a weird outer body experience now.

We're at the Great Wall.

This first part of the wall off the cable car is quite heavily restored, so it's pretty

easy to walk on but when you compare it to pictures of Badaling or any of the parts of

the wall that are much nearer Beijing, there's crowds and crowds of people.

You can barely get anywhere.

Then you come here and there's only a handful.

So the further we walk on, the more wild it should become.

Jinshanling is also great for some longer hiking, you can trek along the wall to another

section called Simitai and it takes between 4 and 5 hours.

It just goes on and on and on and on.

After our compulsory photo shoot with Chinese tourists, we left Jinshanling feeling pretty

chuffed.

We found the shuttle bus this time.

But we couldn't help but crave something even more authentic.

A bit more raw, a little more wild.

Good morning, it's another day in Beijing and today we're heading out to a very special

part of the wall.

We're just heading to the train station now.

I've always had a bit of an Indiana Jones obsession, I love ruins and I love hidden

gems.

So we booked a night with the Chen family, who run a homestay from their farm 2 hours

outside of Beijing.

And most importantly, they have access to completely unrestored sections of the great

wall.

Now, I know what you're thinking, this does not look like the start of a journey to a

hidden gem and check out what happens when the train arrives and there's no reserved

seating.

That was insane.

This is Beijing's S2 tourist train that leads directly to the most popular section

of the Great Wall, Badaling.

But thankfully we were not going there.

We were staying on one more stop to a quieter area called Yanqing.

From the train station we were picked up by a member of the family and very quickly arrived

at their home.

The village they live in is incredibly small and the farm is so peaceful, with probably

the best dog I have ever seen.

We arrived at the Chen family farm and they gave us a lovely lunch and now we've been

dropped at the trail head ready to climb up to the Great Wall.

We're going to be hiking a section called the Hunchback Curve, it's going to take

about 4 hours and its supposed to be a very beautiful spot.

This section of the wall is no joke, it's pretty dangerous to climb and I'm not even

sure if its entirely legal to visit.

This is very different from the last steps we climbed up.

There's barely a path at all.

Right, up we go.

So we just made it to the first watchtower and the views are already amazing.

There's just sections of dense forest.

You'll be on crumbling parts of wall and suddenly you'll just be engulfed in forest.

Completely overgrown.

Spiderweb!

Get off!

I don't think many people come here at all.

We were looking for wild, this is pretty wild.

You can see how the wall snakes right along the top of the mountain.

You okay?

Why are we going down to go up?

That's my favourite kind of way.

Jesus.

I have mentioned this already on this trip by the way, neither of us are experienced hikers at all

So why we chose to do one of the most demanding hikes, I dont really know.

Emma has fallen over twice already.

Are you ok?... War wound.

I'm hoping these little things are markers to tell us that we're going the right way,

not remains of the last people that came here.

Now this.

Just when we thought it was going to get easier, this is the steepest part yet.

This looks like a real staircase.

Steps!

I never thought I would be so happy to see steps.

From this, to this.

From what I understand, this is still part of the Badaling section of the wall, Its just

only the top here has been restored and everything around it has been left to ruin.

We've been walking for a couple of hours and we haven't seen a single person.

I know we've been saying that a lot on this trip, I said it a lot on Jinshanling that

there's nobody around.

But there's really nobody around here.

The cloud is really setting in now, can't even see what's in front of us.

This is why they call it the Hunchback Curve, because of the way this part of the wall just

twists around the top of the mountain.

It almost doubles back on itself.

There's no more words to describe this place, its just incredible.

It's a very special moment this.

It goes down which is what we're doing now.

To 2 towers.

We've been looking for 2 towers in the distance that will show us the way down and we've

finally seen them just up ahead.

The 2 towers!

Hikers!

Yeah!

It would be nice to stay and watch some more of the sunset but, we've still got a 40

minute at least walk back to the farm.

So, we don't really want to do that in the dark.

Reunion.

He's so cute.

Which takes us back to where this film started.

This isnt even a busy day, from what I've read it can get a lot busier than this.

But its a very different vibe from the last 2 places that we've seen.

The restoration is really impressive, the wall looks amazing here, its just its got

that kind of Disneyland feel, where everything is so set up for tourists that it loses so

much of the character that made the other 2 parts of the wall so nice.

You know there's 2 cable cars, a toboggan down, theres way more people than we've

had on the last couple of days.

It's just different.

My advice would be to avoid Badaling and Mutianyu completely.

If you want that perfect balance of easy access, convenience and a complete lack of people.

Jinshanling is great.

It's restored, it's ruined, you can walk on it for an hour or hike it for several.

But if you want something more than just a visit, something more like an adventure.

Take the wild route and I promise it will be something you will never forget.

Now then, I suppose there's only one way to finish off this film.

I never thought I would be saying this but I'm about to slide off the Great Wall of

China.

That was pretty fun.

so 2018 has been a roller coaster of a ride I started the year off thinking my

channel was going to be more Christian mommy content and as I went through the

year I started noticing that you all really loved my party game ideas

especially my Christmas party game my Easter one was a big hit I had a summer

one and a Valentine's Day a summer and pool noodle ones that just I started

noticing that that was what you all were coming to this channel for so um nope in

November I decided to focus more on making those party games so if you

noticed my Christmas videos I just got through filming my last Christmas videos

of 2018 which is why we still have the Christmas set up here but I had so much

fun doing those and I've always had a spirit of fun wanting fun in my family

so here's here's the truth of it all you guys is I actually struggle I can't believe

I'm gonna admit this on camera but I actually struggle with having fun

with my family and I tend to get very stressed out and I want to spend 2019

every year I'm getting ahead of myself every year I pick out a word for the

year that kind of focuses just my life and so my word this year I picked out is

play so not just fun but actual play and I want to play more with my family with

the end goal of experiencing more fun and more laughter and less stressed out

mommy and less which tends to stress out family I want us to have fun

together and I really struggled with making the Christmas party games in 2018

because I found that I wanted all the games to be perfect and I wanted them

all to be fun and then there were these little gems and little moments

throughout the filming where I really saw our family come out and laugh we had

this one game with stickers where we kept sticking stickers on each

other throughout the day and there was just so much laughter and I want more of

that I want more laughter in my life and in

my family's lives and I want to not be so serious all the time and so I think

you guys have really helped find that in me by really enjoying my party games

content of always new a party games and I've played tons of party games working

as a children's minister at various churches and those were always some of

the most fun things that I did I loved the planning that goes into them and I

love just seeing the joy on kids faces and so I want to bring that more home

and just be more joyful and bring out the laughter I'm a person who loves to

laugh I laugh a lot but I also like simple games easy games so that's what

you're gonna find on this channel and 2019 in 2019 are simple quick easy fun

Which Section of the GREAT WALL OF CHINA Should You Visit? | Abandoned or Restored - Duration: 14:08.

Crowds.

Constant queuing.

Overpriced cafes.

Cable cars and even a toboggan ride.

Yet this is not a theme park.

This is the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China.

An estimated 5 million people visit this stretch of wall every single year, making it the 2nd

most popular section for tourists.

It's busy, it's noisy and it feels quite new.

It doesn't have to be like this.

The Great Wall of China has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember.

It is incredible up here.

But at over 21,000 kilometres long, it's hard to know where to start.

Should you visit a restored or ruined section?

An easily accessible or a remote section?

Full on forest on top of the Great Wall of China.

We travelled out to three very different sections of the wall with three very different vibes.

All with their own unique strengths and obstacles.

In search of the best way to experience this wonder of the world.

My name is Ryan and this is Emma and welcome to a very special episode of the One Shot

Adventures China Series.

Good morning, welcome to Beijing.

We just left our very cool hostel in the city and we're heading to Wanjing subway station

to get on a bus to see the Great Wall for the first time.

So very very exciting.

Today we're heading to a section of the wall called Jinshanling.

Which is slightly further away than some of the more popular sections like Badaling.

It's also only half restored, so we should get that nice blend of kind of ruined sections

of the wall and stuff that looks quite new.

Just starting to get our first glimpses of the wall now.

The bus drops you off at sort of a service station and then from there there's supposed

to be a free shuttle bus but it wasn't there when we arrived so we just got a taxi.

We paid 40 Yuan each which is way too much, but we're a little bit short on time today,

so it had to do.

Although it has all of the same amenities as a busy section of the wall, Jinshanling

was pretty empty.

Being that slightly further away from the city can make a huge difference.

Cosy.

As we started climbing up in the cable car, I started to feel pretty excited.

This is something I've wanted to do since I was very young so to me this was like meeting

Mickey Mouse for the first time, but in wall form.

I'm having a weird outer body experience now.

We're at the Great Wall.

This first part of the wall off the cable car is quite heavily restored, so it's pretty

easy to walk on but when you compare it to pictures of Badaling or any of the parts of

the wall that are much nearer Beijing, there's crowds and crowds of people.

You can barely get anywhere.

Then you come here and there's only a handful.

So the further we walk on, the more wild it should become.

Jinshanling is also great for some longer hiking, you can trek along the wall to another

section called Simitai and it takes between 4 and 5 hours.

It just goes on and on and on and on.

After our compulsory photo shoot with Chinese tourists, we left Jinshanling feeling pretty

chuffed.

We found the shuttle bus this time.

But we couldn't help but crave something even more authentic.

A bit more raw, a little more wild.

Good morning, it's another day in Beijing and today we're heading out to a very special

part of the wall.

We're just heading to the train station now.

I've always had a bit of an Indiana Jones obsession, I love ruins and I love hidden

gems.

So we booked a night with the Chen family, who run a homestay from their farm 2 hours

outside of Beijing.

And most importantly, they have access to completely unrestored sections of the great

wall.

Now, I know what you're thinking, this does not look like the start of a journey to a

hidden gem and check out what happens when the train arrives and there's no reserved

seating.

That was insane.

This is Beijing's S2 tourist train that leads directly to the most popular section

of the Great Wall, Badaling.

But thankfully we were not going there.

We were staying on one more stop to a quieter area called Yanqing.

From the train station we were picked up by a member of the family and very quickly arrived

at their home.

The village they live in is incredibly small and the farm is so peaceful, with probably

the best dog I have ever seen.

We arrived at the Chen family farm and they gave us a lovely lunch and now we've been

dropped at the trail head ready to climb up to the Great Wall.

We're going to be hiking a section called the Hunchback Curve, it's going to take

about 4 hours and its supposed to be a very beautiful spot.

This section of the wall is no joke, it's pretty dangerous to climb and I'm not even

sure if its entirely legal to visit.

This is very different from the last steps we climbed up.

There's barely a path at all.

Right, up we go.

So we just made it to the first watchtower and the views are already amazing.

There's just sections of dense forest.

You'll be on crumbling parts of wall and suddenly you'll just be engulfed in forest.

Completely overgrown.

Spiderweb!

Get off!

I don't think many people come here at all.

We were looking for wild, this is pretty wild.

You can see how the wall snakes right along the top of the mountain.

You okay?

Why are we going down to go up?

That's my favourite kind of way.

Jesus.

I have mentioned this already on this trip by the way, neither of us are experienced hikers at all

So why we chose to do one of the most demanding hikes, I dont really know.

Emma has fallen over twice already.

Are you ok?... War wound.

I'm hoping these little things are markers to tell us that we're going the right way,

not remains of the last people that came here.

Now this.

Just when we thought it was going to get easier, this is the steepest part yet.

This looks like a real staircase.

The restoration is really impressive, the wall looks amazing here, its just its got

much of the character that made the other 2 parts of the wall so nice.

You know there's 2 cable cars, a toboggan down, theres way more people than we've

had on the last couple of days.

It's just different.

My advice would be to avoid Badaling and Mutianyu completely.

If you want that perfect balance of easy access, convenience and a complete lack of people.

Jinshanling is great.

It's restored, it's ruined, you can walk on it for an hour or hike it for several.

But if you want something more than just a visit, something more like an adventure.

Take the wild route and I promise it will be something you will never forget.

Now then, I suppose there's only one way to finish off this film.

BMW has produced every MotoGP safety car since 1999, and in a newly-released video, the company has celebrated some of the most iconic ones, most of which were created by the M Division

Arguably the coolest safety cars ever used was a customized Z8 Roadster used during the 2002 season

Not only is seeing a Z8 Roadster on the street an extremely rare occurrence given the car's limited production run, but for those who followed the 2002 MotoGP season, seeing one lap some of the world's most iconic circuits would have been an incredible sight

Another interesting vehicle is the Z4 M Coupe used in 2007 and barely much larger than the motorcycles it led throughout that year

A few years later, in 2011, the much-loved 1M Coupe was the official safety car and perhaps the most badass of them all

In more recent times, a satin black M4 was used in 2015, an M2 was featured in 2016 and this year, BMW decided to start using its latest and most powerful production machine, the M5

The video below doesn't feature every single MotoGP Safety Car from BMW in the last 20 years and leaves out vehicles like the X6 M used in 2009, but it still makes for interesting viewing

It remains to be seen what BMW will use in the years to come, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the upcoming M8 featured in 2020
